This place has robbed me out of a brand new 60 inch LG TV and a brand new, unopened Xbox one. They broke the TV while it was in their possession, and they took zero responsibility for it. Now I go to pick up my Xbox the other day and they straight up lost it. Said they cant find it and they offered me a used one from the back of the store. Emily (who apparently is the only person youre gonna deal with) said to fix the problem by ordering me a brand new Xbox one, same exact one as mine. Only to find out it was a used Xbox from ebay she bought and said was brand new. Only to find out she bought a locked Xbox that was setup in an Asian language and locked with a pin. DO NOT BRING YOUR BUSINESS HERE. Im out over 2 grand now because of Emily and the pawn department which is apparently closing so Im just screwed on my valuables. Super disappointing. Ive been customer for years and am just at a loss for words over this situation. I feel like Ive been robbed at this point. Thanks, Emily!

I have used this pawn shop multiple times. Besides sometimes having to wait at the window a little longer than I would like, the service is great. The employees are always pleasant and the experience is hastle free. Emily has helped me a few times now and she is not only as pretty as they get but also knows what shes doing. I get exactly what I would expect to get for my merchandise and it only costs me about $2 to get it back ( as long as its within the ridiculously long 3 month pay back period). So I recommend if your in a bind and need some bucks to take your stuff to 1st United pawn & loan.

This pawn shop has treated me very well since I started going over a year ago. If your new to pawn they’ll break it down for you. the staff are all the same faces from the 1st I pawned. they’re good people to do business with and I think they’re prices have been fair. . also check out the pawn retail shop while you’re there, good merch.

First time customer. Great experience for more than one reason. 1) They put me in a private room to pawn my stuff and that made me feel REALLY comfortable. 2) the place is big and CLEAN. Hands down, nicest looking pawn shop I’ve ever been to. 3) staff was down-to-earth, personable and normal. They Seem to have a good repor with customers, they knew a lot of them by name and they treated everyone the same. So if any of you are teatering whether to stop in, DO IT. The pawn interest is ungodly low, their prices are good and they look like a trustworthy bunch. Glad google pointed me to this place. :)

If someone tell you this is a good place that’s a lie , service is awful. I came to sell my 2018 trek vector only because I saw a ad online saying they buy all kinds of bikes. It was only two people a head of me in line that haven’t been seen yet the first person in line say he was the for 30mins without anyone saying anything to him. I didn’t get seen until 50mins standing in a line of only 3ppl , finally I get seen and the lady tells me “THEY DONT BUY SKINNY TIRE BIKES ANYMORE . I asked why these are the best bikes , she replies she doesn’t know. But I look to da left it’s a skinny tire sky blue very old worn lookin bike they recently purchased from someone....So why not take my bike that’s still in great condition since the day I purchased it and is still registered to me.

If you need a pawn shop in Philly, go here.Not the greatest prices paid BUT FAR ABOVE ALL THE OTHER PAWN SHOPS IN SOUTH PHILLY!! I definitely suggest this place and if their prices were a little better, I would give them 5 stars.

I pawned a laptop and I had to come back multiple times because they couldnt find it other than that it was a great experience and they did what they promised. My original review was 3 stars but I have to drop two of them because I brought the same laptop back one month later and they would not give me a loan. they knew I would be back for because I came back for it the first time.

I waited here for 20 mins just to be told they wouldn’t buy my guitar. Kept giving me the one second someone will be right with you and after 20 mins they told me they didn’t need either of my items. Also their system was down for like 4 days prior. Avoid this place waste of time.

Only 1 teller open on a Thursday..line out the door. Two other girls behind the glass starin...didnt even open another window to help her coworker get the line down...I hate going to this place...just terrible...too long of a wait...why have 5 windows when only one is ever open!!!! Place is a disgrace!!

This place is horrible, the manager Delilah is very Unprofessional, I will never use their sevices again. They scammed me out of $125 and they are refusing to give me my money back. They will be hearing from my lawyer. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY TYPE OF ACCES TO YOUR CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD!!!
