Nice neat clean place to shop. They have such a good choice of items. Staff is great. Asked one lady about a salad dressing that l cant find anywhere. She went in the back and came back to say for some reason the company hadnt sent that certain brand. Other flavors were on the shelf. It was nice of her to even go back and check. Some stores you go to the staff acts like you are a bother for asking. Yes l like Acme Markets.
Everything you need and more here - never have trouble finding gluten free options, healthy food, alcohol, or anything else we may need.

Has a lot, but EXTREMELY expensive. There are more affordable options. But if you cant find something elsewhere, definitely worth a look
Was looking for something specific and the frozen food manager was kind enough to go get it for me. I think he said his name was Dave. He was so kind and it really made my day. I thought he was wonderful. It’s nice to have someone like that with a positive attitude. Five stars for Dave! Hopefully I got his name right! 👍😁

I like the store because its close to where I live and the hours are great, opened until 11 pm.Their store is clean and generally all the employees are cordial and helpful also.The only thing I dont like is their prices are a little higher than I would like but I guess I have to pay for the convenience.Dont get me wrong, when the pandemic hit, they definitely did adjust their prices but I would like them a tiny bit lower.I will say this,though, usually they have the best sales!

Great Service with a smile for many years. Very honest as well. I requested cash back and forgot to grab it from the self check out. Guess what... it was there waiting for me later in the day when I realized my mistake. I kind of did not expect that to happen. Shame on me... Great Job Acme Trooper!

Overall layout of the store is sort of confusing but for the most part it’s a decent store. It’s more a place I go for convenience or specifics. Their bakery items though…..they make some great stuff! Especially their giant cookies
I shop in this store 3 to 4 times a week .I dont like to complain but this had happened to me on more than one occasion. The store closes at 11pm .I was at checkout by 10 pm .no registers were open , only self check out. I had a cart full .lots of produce to be typed in .self checkout can be very sensitive, putting it in the bag. No removing bags, when theres no space left. The machine kept telling me I needed assistance. It was annoying , when there were staff there standing around.
Rude management. You are lucky to find your products you need. Even luckier to get the sale prices. Big disappointment. Used to be very good store. Been a customer over 40 years. Harder to go back every week. Many products have expired or will be soon. Poor shelf life management. No more rain checks for products that brought you to the store in first place.
Main reason I went to the store was to get lunch meat, and the deli was CLOSED! Only small paper bags available at checkout, and the attendant at self checkout was rude.

Customer service was awful! Manager with all black on and glasses is quiet sarcastic in her interaction with customers and with cashiers. I was there at 745am and only one cashier was available and non of the self scans were open. We waited patiently and to no avail no open came to another register to help all 10 of us in line. When she arrive she was agitated at the cashier and those of us in line. Customer service was a real after thought. Unacceptable and will not shop here again!
The lady at the service counter kept dismissing the one clerk who was telling me where something was cuz she thought she knew better but he was the one that was right!!!
I normally shop at Giant. Today I decided to stop in the Acme to purchase some fruit bowls and a bag of the roasted chicken. I waited for 10 minutes while 2 managers used 4 employees to hold up bags of chicken so that they could take pictures and use them as props. The lady manager looked at me and said hello and told me as soon as she finished getting a “good shot” someone would be right with me.Unbelievable!!!! I think as the customer I should have been waited on first.
Shelf were empty an the the counter ladies where very unhappy. But on another note good deals on food.
Needed 2 items distilled H2O & Kaiser rolls & decided to stop at Acme Markets. I found both products & checked out in record time. Acme is always well stocked,is conveniently located in ParkRidge Shopping Ctr & stays open til 11 PM.
Would rather it a 5 but lacks some products I like.
Poor experience. I tried to check out and asked an employee who is in a group of other employees a question and she ignored me and walked away. I actually reached out to another employee in the self checkout line and she also ignored me. I dont know what was going on at the store today.
I finally downloaded the app and pluck coupons, which makes shopping at ACME so much more affordable. Definitely worth shopping here once you download their app!

If youre willing to pay top dollar then ACME is the way to go. I have only once had an issue with something I bought there (pork roast). Most of the time their products are good, if you dont mind paying the price, like I said.

I was in a rush to get my favorite beer Heineken and Acme had more on hand than all the other supermarkets in my area and fast service with friendly employees which is next to my bank and is covid-19 ready and made me feel safe 😷 to shop there.

I went to check out today and apparently I donated $5 hours to a charity that does say on the receipt and I asked for $40 cash back! And I never got my monopoly tickets (12). I never consented to any of that I don’t have that kind of money to spend! I tried calling the lady was rude and denied all of it! Will I go to acme again!?!?’ NO! I will be loyal to Giant food stores!
Nice store very warm feeling but expensive & the prepared foods 8.00 dollars for 1 lb mozz penne salad very bland and pasta undercooked the grilled chicken very small pieces I could eat 4 pieces at one sitting with 2 sides Acme if youre gonna be overpriced please make sure your food is top notch to expensive for mediocre prepared food
If you like overpriced products and produce that isn’t fresh, this is the grocery store for you. Numerous times I’ve gotten produce from here that was way more expensive then other stores and past its prime. They do have a very good buy 1 get 1 free on meats that is a deal, but other than at I would recommend doing your grocery shopping elsewhere as you will quickly exceed your budget
They all seem disinterested. Even with all the competition in the area. Having the beer and wine doesnt hurt but when I ask questions I usually am made to feel Im a burden. Sales prices can be great but no sale prices are high

Long wait at self checkout. Prices still too high on most merchandise, but not all. Appreciated the table and chair area in the beer and wine dept. Good prices on meats but as with all the stores, savings is lost when cut of meat is too large for 2 people. Also bogo deals have the original price bumped up. (They all do that.) Also puzzled why this company is still using the Acme name. Everybody knows its not the original Acme company. And I dont think anybody cares at this point. I would shop anywhere if the quality and prices are good. Store is clean also.
The cashier Marilyn was very friendly and helpful. The store was clean and they had all the sale items I needed.

Acme in Trooper good store expensive a dollar or more per item than Walmart are giant but the girl with the black hair thats usually on register number one is outrageous ,smoking hot. I love you girl with the black hair..
The worst grocery store I’ve ever been to.Produce isn’t fresh, all wilted. Organics don’t seem to be organics at all.Overpriced for subpar quality - everything.Manager is never available for feedback.I’m addition, to all that, they wouldn’t sell me alcohol. DMV officially extended all the drivers licenses till 31st May 2020 for the ones that expired during COVID-19 closures. Acme is the only organization that I’ve encountered so far that doesn’t abide by the DMV rules of extension. Absolute nonsense! Associate didn’t even try to be helpful or check with manager, you don’t know your own rules or the law.Never coming back again. You don’t deserve my money and my business.
Dishonest. Their organics are NOT organic. Bought some organic produce the other day and none of it was actually organic. It had organic stickers and they sold it to me at organic prices but it was not organic. If you’ve been eating organic vegetables and fruits for a while, you know the difference in taste and the way the produce ripens and looks like when stored over a period of time either in the fridge or in the fruit bowl. Clearly, everything that I bought was regular produce sold at organic prices. Never coming back and you shouldn’t either - if you care about your health and wallet.
Love visiting this store. Good stocks & deal. They have nice bakery & prices of cakes are good too as compared to any other stores in area.

Usually go here for the Beer Garden, nice selection of beers, local brews, and all varieties. Lots of wine as well. Will pick up select items as well, seem to have decent sales but do not food shop here on weekly basis.
Nothing special. Meats are decent but most items are overpriced compared to other local food chains. Specials of the week are usually worth the price but most items are priced higher than others local stores
A little bit crowded today but patience is the key. Items I wanted were on sale so I guess everyone else had the same idea.

Other stores closed and ACME is now the closest to me. They have made considerable efforts to improve the produce department and there are enough sales and specials to make it worth the stop. The $5/dozen bagels on weekends is a terrific deal. Their wine is more expensive that the State Store, but sometimes you just pay for convenience.
I regularly find out-dated food on the shelves here. My kid threw up after eating a yogurt I had bought that very day that had expired over a month prior. Also, items will have sale prices listed on shelf tags but when you purchase the item you don’t get the sale price and you’re told that the shelf tag is “old” — then why is it still on the shelf????
Stopped here quickly to get a cake. They had a great selection and we picked out a confetti cake that was just the right size. Checked out quickly in the self-service registers. The cake was terrible though!
They usually have bogo sales on steak which are nice and the pa lottery machine is fun to play.

I love the products at Acme but everytime I go there, there are only 2 checkouts open, lines are long and the checkers are very slow. I will shop there when I have the patience to deal with 20 minutes in the checkout lines...would shop a lot more at Acme if I could get out sooner.
The worst customer service. Can actually feel the contempt from the service desk people. No customer service skills at all, I just asked answer a simple question. As I wait for the lady to finish the previous customer, she doesnt ask may I help u but instead just glares as if I am supposed to know when shes ready. And then proceed with curt, short answers as if I am ruining her day. Very uncomfortable.
I Really like Acme Markets Lancaster brand steaks. The specialty select Blueberry muffins are a huge YUMM
High prices, out of stock items, but excellent meat department manager who knew dates and times when products would arrive.
My experience, was terrible. First their prices are way too high, second their checkout lines are ridiculously long and they were looking at me as if I was going to steal something.
You find old school markets like acme in Pennsylvania far and between but this acme is a gem,very friendly people fresh food produce and everything,we need more old school brand name markets like this that last the test of time.

The website said this Acme had diet cream soda...so I made a special trip. No diet cream soda. Disappointed.
The Acme Market on Ridge Pike in Eagleville is my go to spot for a few items or our weekly order. The shelves are always stocked. The produce is fresh. The sales are everywhere and the Staff is Awesome!!I love my local Acme.

Over priced except for the Prime Rib with coupon. Had to spend $25.00 to get coupon price which only took a few items. Produce wasnt very good so I went to Giant for the rest of needed items.
What can I say about Acme. One of the Last grocery stores to have a true Butcher on site. A very friendly and courteous employees. Eager and willing to help.

This is flat out one of the worst grocery stores ever. They misadvertise prices to try and rip you off (placing different sized items in next to a for sale sign for a slight different size), self checkout sucks, lines are long, and its overcrowded.

Self checkout was a joke. There were 2 people with 20 items and the older gentleman who clearly needed help wasnt getting it because the girl was chatting with another employee at 3:30 in the afternoon.

Very high prices, crowded, staff grumpy, night manager stares and follows ppl around the store very suspiciously, condescending.
Worst pharmacy, pharmacist mr.adrdenne, should not have a license, went with legitimate prescription, he said they didnt carry, so I went back to the doctor got another prescription, he refused, he said too many pharmacies, yes I use several, convenience and pricing. He said hes never heard of different pricing for medicines. WOW, HE IS OUT OF TOUCH WITH REALITY. He needs to be removed, I waited a week, in pain to get a new script, which he refused again, I thought I would die, Giant filled it right away not 10 minutes later. I am never going back to shop-rite or Acme again.
Bring back the self checkout! And hire more cashiers! I waited in line for 15 minutes for one item. And there is always a long wait ever since the self checkouts were removed. Giant is getting my business from now on.
Its basically a Safeway or Vons so its basically all the same exact stuff that you would get in California or from Safeway market. The only thing thats different is the vegetables are a lot more expensive because theyre shipped from so far away.
The Acme in Trooper is no longer a bargain. They are currently under construction to add a beer garden and wine selection and all aisles have been rearranged. Having been a customer since it opened more than a decade ago, Im confused by the new Arrangement. Moreover, I regard prices as just a cut below Whole Foods. For example , Boursin cheese is $7.99 at Acme but only $3.49 at Trader Joes. In short, I go there only for convenience but save my major shopping trips for Wegmans, Trader Joes and other more reasonably priced markets.
Its a grocery store. They had water in stock when my area has a boil water advisory.

2022-04-17Always use the self checkout and there is always someone to help right away if I need help. Nothing is worse than waiting for a sales associate at self checkout, this has never been an issue here. Also everyone is super friendly!

Prices seem to be moderate or a little pricey however they have a good verity of food products & drinks!Acme often have sales on meats. For example 4 different items like extra meaty spareribs, chicken 🐔 breast, NY Steaks, & Porkchops 🥩 all high quality and delicious. Acme also sells youre favorite beer 🍺 & Wine🍷 as well as SAVON PHARMACY where you may drop off your Prescriptions to a very nice & insightful pharmacist, John 💊. Do youre shopping 🛒 then pick up youre meds on your way out... Oh I almost forgot, you may play the Lottery 🎰, from scratch off tickets to the Powerball.Last but not least, Acme has a very nice assortment of beautiful & and amazingly smelling 💐🌷🌼 flowers. 2021-12-21I am not the food shopper in the house. But I do love how fresh the fruits and vegetables are from this location. My family has no problems getting in and out of the market quickly, even though the place is full. The park lot is like driving on a nascar circuit. Everyone is always moving and fast.

2022-03-02First time there in years. Has gotten a bit pricey considering I normally shop at Wegmans, Weiss and Walmart. Found it to be the most priciest in the area even compared to Giant.Not saying anything that is not a nice place to shop and people working there are very helpful and courteous.They definitely need to bite the bullet on profit margins for the and due to years of the owners and upper management profiting has them troubled and faultering and going to with stock will not remedy it at this point since no one has money to invest and people who do are not going to do so by investing in a doomed company. So my opion overall great place to shop or wasNow just to priceyGreat stores faultering on inflation and the company more worried about the bottom line.Customer retention is key and dont see it happeningLike I said Great Grocery StoreToo pricey due to lack of upper management profiting and now trying to recover by passing higher costs to youIf you have money to burn great place, well stocked if you are on a budget. 2022-01-13I just wanted to give five stars because the staff is great. After my last review they went and cleaned up the meat/seafood department everything smells fresh. Im very impressed guys! thank you.

2022-03-20After my last one star..It seemes much better. Plenty of cashiers..and a manger even helped me with a heavy item into my cart. A plus ...great improvements
