Shay helped my brother and I find a great place in Fairmount. She was so responsive and helped us find the exact place we are looking for. I have a very weird work schedule and she was very flexible in scheduling showings. I will likely stay in my current apartment for a couple years but whenever I need to look again I will definitely use Allegiance real estate again

If you are trying to rent in Philly look no further. Everyone down from the office manager to the leading leasing agent were top notch professionals. Dan and Bryan went above and beyond getting the place ready for the move in during a really hectic and stressful time. It was a seamless process and I would highly recommend their services.

Horrible, very unprofessional customer service. I viewed and applied for a rental January 28th. Right away I noticed it takes 7-14 days to receive correspondence from Bryan Reese. He asked me if I could do 6 months up front since I didn’t have a co-signer in which I agreed, set up a second viewing so I could allow my daughters to see it before a final decision.. and I haven’t heard from him since even after emailing numerous times. Not even a disapproval. I have emailed 7x since February 23rd, including stating I would like to move forward. You can’t reach anyone in office, no voicemails are being taken, and it directs you to email Mr. Reese whom barely responds. I have now wasted over a month of time that I could’ve had other rentals lined up. If you search this company it has similar reviews on numerous forums.Edit: per response of Bryan.. Mr. Reese I have emailed the same email 7x that you were initially responding from. I also left screenshots of the emails on my Yelp review. Good day

This review is in reference to this company and the maintenance company they hire. All of the issues presented in this review was brought to this company and they ignored my emails to fix any of this. The maintenance company is hired by this company which is why the review is left here. If I could give less than one star, I would, but it is impossible on this website. This company and who they hire is so unprofessional, rude, and greedy. They lie to you, and do not respond to any phone calls. Every appliance I owned broke multiple times throughout my stay. The maintenance workers were unprofessional, did not actually fix anything, and would break appliances further. They would do patch up work that would break in a matter of days or weeks. I had a maintenance worker who had to come 4 times, to fix the heat, and around 5 times to fix the air conditioner. This occurred, during negative degree weather, where they told me to use a space heater, instead of offering to fix the heat right away. It also occurred, in 90 - 100 degree weather, where I am in an attic and could not breathe. During both instances, I had to sleep elsewhere, because it was unbearable not having heat or air conditioning for days. There was a fire alarm in the building that occurred due to an appliance being fixed incorrectly on the first floor, which caused smoke. Everyone had to evacuate, and the fire department came, stating that there was illegal wiring, and wiring that was not up to code. The fire department stated, If they do not fix this immediately, they will be shut down. The fire department then called L & I to do an inspection. The person we are told, by Allegiance, to contact in situations, was Joseph Bernstein. He answered once during this situation, and hung up and refused to answer again. Nothing was done, until L & I contacted them as the fire department and the residents reported this wiring situation. They tried to come in and fix the situation after several days since they had been reported. In every situation, they do not answer, there is no number to contact for emergencies, as they do not answer, either Allegiance or Spina. They do not follow the lease, and do not care if they are not keeping their end of the lease. The maintenance workers and Allegiance workers entered my property MANY times without notifying me or knocking even though there was no emergency that would deem them able to do so. After I brought this up and the many other issues to Joseph and Bryan, who are from Allegiance and Spina & Company (their maintenance company they hire), it continued to happen. It took many emails for them to fix the countless appliances broken, and when it was attempted, it would break again or take multiple times to be fixed. A maintenance worker said to me, I dont feel like doing this today, and will be back with an attitude, and he did not come back for about a week. The maintenance workers would bring in young adults/ teens that would bring all of their friends to sit inside my apartment and watch their friends work, as they sat on my couch or the stairs. They would use the bathroom without us home, and pee all over the toilet, and leave all the lights on in the apartment. When the lease was over, they took almost all of our security deposit, and showed us pictures of a fridge and items on the sidewalk that were not ours and was not in our apartment. They refused to answer after when we stated that some of the pictures was not our items and was the wrong apartment. They are rude, they lied, and they are the most unprofessional company I have ever leased from. I would have ended my lease early, within the first two months of renting, if it wasnt for the thousands of dollars it would have been to terminate a lease early. I would never rent from them again. Stay away if you can! If they will hire a maintenance team like this and never respond to complaints about the team they hire, then they are not a company I want to rent from.
Shay was a great help during my stay in America for school and my experience was great. I really recommend her, she is totally cool, prepared and professional.
Be careful renting from this company. They rely heavily upon taking advantage of young college students naivete. Make sure you go through your lease with someone that understands what kind of demands are reasonable for a lease or not. They did not repair the broken front door for the entirety of my lease period despite repeated and frequent package thefts, and they refused to install security cameras when confronted about the issue, but threatened to install them in the laundry room when the machines coin slots were tampered with.They will rip you off on your security deposit, so make sure to take pictures of everything when moving in and out of the apartment as evidence. It is impossible to get them on the phone to speak and they will stop replying to your emails after you move out, even if there is ongoing business. They have not forwarded any mail or packages that were mistakenly sent there after moving out, and have not responded to any of my attempts to contact them, even when I offered to come pick them up. Im guessing they dont want to acknowledge the continued package theft going on there for more than a year.
5/5Bryan Reese is an awesome guy! On Christmas Eve this guy spent the time to provide me with an exceptional rental in such a timely manner. His customer service skills, interpersonality and genuine care for his clients is very transperant.If you are looking for a Real Estate agency that will treat you family, I recommend Allegiance.
Read Yelp and Zillow reviews. If you do decide to do business with Allegiance, make sure you check property history on L&I, check if they manage the building professionally/meet the landlord if its a private rental, take pictures before you move in and move out, etc. Good luck.
Highly recommend renting elsewhere. Moved into complete mess with a giant pile of dirt in the kitchen and dust everywhere. Every single appliance broke within 12 months at least one time including AC twice in August. They kept majority of security deposit when there was no damage to the apartment. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

2022-04-27I don’t feel I was treated well by this company. I fell in love with an apartment. I put down a deposit to hold it. I hear nothing for days and finally decide to call. After I call, they ask me for proof of income. I thought that was a weird order of doing things, but what do I know? After that they decide that I’m too poor for the apartment. The guy spoke down to me like I was some 20-year-old and this was my first time renting an apartment. He even asked me if I have savings. Then he had the nerve to ask me for a cosigner. I’m a middle-aged woman with impeccable credit (they said so themselves) and a long rental history, so this was a huge insult. There was no income requirement listed in the ad and Shay never once mentioned it to me. If I didn’t make enough money, why would they take my deposit first? Luckily I got it back, even they kept two application fees from me. These people really made me disrespected. I’m glad I found a place elsewhere.

2022-01-24While my experience with Allegiance Real Estate was alright to start, as soon as I signed a lease they passed me on to a property management company that refused to fix any maintenance requests and is just all around shady and unprofessional. Unwilling to modify lease arrangements without adding on hundreds of dollars in random fees. If this is who they choose to work with it reflects on their character too. Find any other company when renting.

2022-06-21The whole apartment was riddled with black mold and neither allegiance or the property owner would fix or even acknowledge the issue. rent from any of the many other companies in philly before considering them. have heard similar issues from other people who rented from them. they are only looking for a quick buck and dont care about the people they rent to

2021-05-23Bryan & Shay are great! This was the easiest and most straight forward rental process Ive gone through. Not only were Bryan & Shay responsive, but so, so caring! Shay immediately made me feel at ease with the process. I tend to ask a lot of questions, and sometimes ask them repeatedly to make sure I heard correctly; and without hesitation, she answered me with ease and care, knowing this was my first time getting my own apartment in Philly without any roomates. She wanted to make sure I got the apartment I wanted and kept me up to date at all times as she knew how much I loved it. Allegiance Real Estate is for the people, and I would HIGHLY recommend.

2021-04-23Working with Shay, she made the whole process quick and easy for us. She was professional and easy to communicate with. Living in Philly it’s hard to find to people that care about your issues, but any questions/issues we had with the apt she handled immediately and made sure that it was being taking care of. 2021-08-11My friend and I were in the market for apartments but could never settle on one we both liked. We finally came across Allegiance Real Estate and we both instantly fell in love with one of the apartments they were offering.Our agent, Shay, is very kind and we had a smooth transition. Were both new into the market so they did explain to me some things I didnt quite understand and new to. They have been very helpful and kind to us. We will consider working with them again in the future. I will enjoy having my first apartment and a place to call home under their agreement!
