The guy wasnt very pleasant. Saying no bathroom working on doors. Told everyone the greyhound bus ticket machine was. Down had go 30minites away to the 7 11 store then come back get tickets. I was walking like some others not from there. Then after that made all get out the station because closed up again. Sit waiting to 8pm bus from 430pm standing outside. Theres others longer to waiting outside for their buss. Told use the greyhound bus not taken cash and the machines been down over year and half. Like anyones to know that coming to the bus station to leave town not from the area. They need to have beter service as well getting the ticket machine fixed.
I am not sure how they can call this bike in the wall a bus terminal. I was catching a bus to NYC to see friends, its crazy to drive there so I looked into buses. When I got to this terminal there was a gentleman there who was crying because he said that he had been there all day and the bus drivers would not give him change for the bus he didnt have exact change and he didnt have a credit card to book it on the phone which is what the drivers kept telling him to do. I finally took him to the store got changed from him and then I booked the bus trip on my debit card so that he wouldnt have any problems getting on the next bus. It was actually quite heartbreaking and this bus terminal was only open for 2 hours that day who can you help in 2 hours. its dark and dingy and unsafe.
Absolutely horrible place for a passenger. The station is officially locked up until 4:30 pm BUT the agent for the Trans Bridge bus shows up 20minutes late (at 4:50 pm) blaming Covid-19!The bathrooms inside this station are locked with the sign indicating βNot for customers.βThe ATM machine inside this station has a sign attached to it - βOut of order.βThis station is from the nightmare!Avoid if you can help it.
Was there today at 930 am. Attendent at the window was unpleasant, not helpful and rude. I was confused about what he said and when i asked he had an attitude. I noticed a shift change happened at 10, I asked the new attendent and he kindly gave me the info I needed. If youve never taken a bus before, this isnt a good place to start. I had a friend call for me and the guy was rude to them on the phone and he was still as confused as I was. Not good!
This review is for the Greyhound Bus Company. Bus supposed to arrived at 3:10pm. Its now 5:11pm and no bus!Called and the person on the line could not give me a reason why this bus is over 2 hours late, saying its not on the system. Bye Greyhound, thank you Transbridge! Always reliable!
Very cool little bus terminal like something you would see you in a movie out in the country is really nice people in there definitely would we use it again especially going back up to see the in-laws and the bus driver. Whos driving the bus was extremely friendly really nice actually had a really good experience
Sketchy as hell at night, they have a taco truck right nearby. They close early at night, so youll be left standing outside at 9 pm in the dark hoping you dont have a run-in with some druggie that wants a fix. They should expand and have a room for people that take the bus at night. Or better yet, drive your car if you have it.
It was kind of horrible the bar across the street the cars were parked all in front of the bus terminal there was people standing out they look like they were fighting they look like they were dealing drugs and everything and they didnt leave till about 20 minutes before the bus came and I stood there from 4:30 a.m. to 5:55 a.m.
Allentown Bus terminal is easily accessible off Hamilton Street but lacks sufficient parking and the parking lot is one way in and one way out, so that if you pull in to park, you have to back out. I suggest you be dropped off there or take an Uber. Not sure if this is a safe area either. On the positive side, Senior citizens can go to Manhattan round trip for $38.
It a small station with limited space to be enough for passengers , especially in cold days you need to be inside and you find no space. Also there no announcement of the buses coming so you need every time a bus come to go and ask the bus driver about the destination especially in the morning there is a bus every 10 minutes to different destinations. To enter the bath room you need to get the keys from the employee . Some times the bus is late and when ask the employee no answer . Location of the station in a crowded area
This place can be dirty, clean, scary, quiet, nice, or friendly. Just like any other place you visit it depends on the day. I been coming here to take there busses for a while now and Iβve experienced it all.Even at the fanciest most expensive place you wonβt always experience a clean & friendly experience.Im my opinion this place could be way worse but itβs not. And for tht I give them 5 stars!!-only flaw is tht they donβt always pick up there phone.
They dont take credit/debit cards, which sucks. Other than that, its a bus terminal. The bus comes. The bus leaves. Not much more to it. Small, limited seating, but I always get there 5 minutes before my bus comes anyway. A couple of vending machines inside. Water, sodas, chips, candy, etc. The bathroom is not the cleanest, so Id wait to use the bathroom on the bus. There used to be cabs that would be there when the bus arrived. Not anymore. Im guessing because people use uber or lyft now, so get yours ahead of time if you dont want to wait long.
Very rude and nasty, rushed me off the phone and then blocked my number after calling several times. I asked for the guys name several times as well and he refused to give me his name. The first time I called it was an accident, I thought it was a door to door van service so I asked if they had any vans available he said with an attitude as if he was in a rush oh we dont have any vans. The very first time i called he did not say this is a bus terminal. When you ask for an employees name youre supposed to give it upon request, and he refused. But its okay because I did my research and I have it I will make sure he gets fired. Thats a promise, he is rude and nasty. He talks as if hes so high class when hes really not.
Rudest employee ever on 4/27/21 this man talked to me so horrible! Treated me like I was dirt! They were to open at 4:30 pm and didnt arrive until 4:50pm.There was a line waiting outside the door! His behavior and ignorance was very unprofessional! I was doing a good deed for a homeless man and was just there to purchase a ticket for this person. Shame on you for treating a woman this way who was going out of her way to do a random act of kindness to help a man in need!I will also be filing a complaint at City Hall..
Ill it 1star because its there. Its the worst station ever. They need rebuild a new one and destroy this one. Its very updated and dirty. The customer service isnt very friendly or professional. They never say when your bus has arrived. Theres no seats or a place to sit outside. Youd think if they could rebuild Hamilton St and the hockey stadium they could rebuild a new station. It tells you where their priorities are.
It gets the job done and beats driving to Bethlehem. The attendant is friendly and informative, but behind glass and you have to request a key for access to the bathroom, but really, this is a bus terminal. You dont spend much time here if you plan right. The one thing Id most like is for the attendant to take credit/debit cards. The ATM wasnt working and I had to run up 4 blocks to the nearest known ATM and back, just barely making my bus. So, take cash for your purchase.Parking is available, but this isnt the best part of town so Im not sure what the risk is in leaving a vehicle. If you arent real close in town and have a vehicle, Trans-Bridge also picks up at their location in Bethlehem. I dont know about the other bus services in the area.
Bus came 30 minutes late, poor location at a somewhat shady area but really the worst part was the rude information person who mocked me for speaking quietly (since I was tired for it being 630AM), so I had to yell at him just to get the information process to his brain.

2022-02-05If your traveling early in the morning or after 9pm be very careful. The station is closed and the area feels very unsafe. Panhandlers approach and are very demanding. During the day when the station is open, the teller is very rude and condescending. I personally recommend catching the transbridge bus. Much better experience.

2022-03-15An ok bus terminal. But just to let everyone know, the terminal is not actually open. You have to wait outside. And if you have your ticket on your phone, you may be told to go across the street to the Yurconic agency to get a printed ticket. This costs $3. And is not the quickest process but it turned out ok and no one missed the busπ.

2022-02-16See the review I left for Pittsburgh greyhound station. TLDR: this station wasnt even open so when the bus broke down we had to wait outside in the winter weather for 4 hours while being harrased by locals for cigarettes and money. One even had the cops called and was arrested for trying to steal from passengers and assaulting passengers with slaps as well as throwing her hot food on them.

2022-05-29This bus terminal has a ticket booking counter. Most of the time it is closed even though there are sitting facilities available inside it. Riders are always stranded outside the booking counter having on option to get inside. The restroom inside it is not allowed to use for the riders and most of the time it is out of order.
