It was not only a comfortable time for my pup despite the shots, but the appointment was so thorough and all my questions satisfied and relieved. I really appreciated the approach, the relational aspect and deep care for animals esp my girl. I was well instructed on the necessity for some breeds including my puppy’s breed to allow the pup to cycle through one heat period before spaying for better physical health. And then also what to look for in how to care for her during her heat. Thank you so much!
They have been amazing with all my pets over the past 12 years, the prices are fair, they listen to your concerns and handle with care. You can tell they love their job and all the animals they care for. Surprisingly my dog Lil Miklo gets excited to go see them. LOL 😆 I wouldnt change vets for anything. Thank you Annville-Cleona Veterinary Associates. 💞
They really care. All explanations were clear and concise. They had a plan.So far, everything Dr. Keck said would happen did. Gave us a possible future for our Westie. It has been a couple of days and we see a vast improvement. We are aware it is not a cure. However she looks back to normal. Lets see what the future brings. Honesty. Its a wonderful thing.AND they are only a phone call away.and return calls quickly.
God bless the doctors and staff at Annville-Cleona Veterinary Associates! They are not only skilled at all they do for fur babies near and far, but they acknowledge the human side, too! Our Curie gal had some surgery and we received updates from the surgeon and staff. They keep you informed and have a great sense of humor, too! We are so blessed to have a reliable team to help us look after our rescue kitty!
We had such a difficult time finding a vet that was taking new clients, but luckily we were able to get in with Annville-Cleona! Our vet was so kind and helpful - we received a lot of information and all of my questions were answered. I feel confident that our cat is somewhere that they care about him and his health and hell receive thorough care. Were definitely planning on sticking with this vet for our cats future needs!
I really appreciate the service. Although I have to admit, at first I was quite hesitant with having to wait outside knowing Pork Chop doesn’t like to leave my side when in unfamiliar places, which he showed by throwing up, my apologies for that — but the service was excellent and fast!! Thank you all so much for the care you give our pets and for all you do!!
Everyone was lovely. Buster received great care and all of my concerns were looked into. I received resources on nutritional foods for dogs and an estimate on future dental care, which I appreciated. I also really like how they are transparent about the cost of services during the visit. The vet tech made recommendations of care and included the cost of each service, so I could decide if it was something I could afford during the visit.
With any vet, the bills are always expensive but you’re getting high quality & detailed care for your pet. The wait outside is a little long but that’s due to COVID and you even have an option to talk to the vet through a window! They are doing their best with safety & the pets and I recommend them highly for that :D
We got the absolute best, compassionate, competent, care from all the vets and staff over the last 12 years. When our beloved dog MacGuyer was diagnosed with Lymphoma they referred us to a top notch oncologist, and partnered with that vet to get us the best care possible. When we get another pet we will be back with A-C Vets again. Wouldnt go anywhere else!
It was terrible!! I have always taken my dogs there when they are in need of health care. Now I have a five year old dog that hasnt been there in four years because he has been in good health but, this morning my dog cant get his hind legs to work and I called them to bring him in for some care. They told me that because he has not been there for four years that they wont be able to see him today and it would take several days before they would see him. They told me to take my dog to emergency care and I told them that would be extremely expenses to do that and they agreed that it would be. So, I asked them if I was being punished for not bringing my dog in more often so that they could make more money off of me and I did not get a good answer back. I have always paid my vet bill that I had with them at the time of service so, they never had to wait for payment. I told them that the dog may have to be put down because the cost of an emergency room visit would be to much and they said well we cant make that decision for me. But they are making that decision for me by not seeing the dog. With all the hard times we are all facing with the Corona Virus you would think that they would care about your pet but they only want the more money. Now I have to explain to my children that the vet only cares about making money from you instead of the well being of your pet. Being that we didnt put money in their pockets each year for seeing a healthy dog now my children may have to bury their pet dog. Thank you Annville-Cleona Veterinary Associates!! Nice to know that you are not there when you are needed the most!!!
Just had our annual wellness checkup with Dr. Alex and tech Lindsey. They are always so gentle and patient with our more timid (when hes at the vet) large canine. They are definitely expert at making the visit as stress free and enjoyable for the pup, as possible. Its immensely appreciated since it means we dont have to drag him in the door. He willing goes because he wants to visit the vets office. Thank you!
New patient, called and was seen the same day when regular vet was closed indefinitely , extremely happy!. Very thorough, explained everything in depth. Empathetic to our aging dogs health issues and our peace of mind. Called with bloodwork results very quickly. We will definitely be taking both of our dogs here for future care. Thank you, thank you
CopyI love A-C Veterinary Associates. You have taken care of my animals for over 15 years and I have never had a complaint. When Sally was hurt last week you found a way to fit her in within 2 hours, and that made us feel so much better. Thank you for all that you do.
My cat was seen last week at Annville-Cleona Veterinary Associates. We were new to the office so I was surprised with how easy it was to schedule an appointment for him and the fact that we got an appointment to be seen the next morning. The receptionist at the front desk was very friendly and kept us informed of wait times. The vet tech and veterinarian who treated my cat were friendly and very gentle during his exam and blood draw for testing. They were also extremely thorough with collecting information and records. The cost for services was reasonable and the same as other offices in the area. Two days later the veterinarian called me like she said to discuss my cats blood test results and to make sure I was able to schedule an appointment with the Specialists office that we were referred to. I plan to use this vet in the future for my cats care. I recommend them to anyone looking for a new veterinarian!!
Decent rates and quality bets! I havent been going there long and we had our 11 year old Block pass away. It wasnt the secretary or a technician but our Vet took time out of her busy day to contact me and wish us the best in dealing with our tough time. I wont post her name in a blog but feel free to contact me for a recommendation.
I use to love this place, but as of late each time we go in my appts cost more and more. They keep pushing for expensive test and procedures. My dog is 10 unfortunately she doesnt have long left. I dont need test to tell me she is old. We will be going somewhere else soon. This last batch of vaccines cost over 100 more than normal plus we have to go back in for more. I feel they are making up more shots to be given. I asked for 1 extra shot and the recommended 3 more plus did a test I did not ask for and charge me for it. We need to look for a new vet.
They are wonderful with our furbabies and have been taking care of all of our animals for years. They were also very caring when we had to put our pomeranian Harley down, he was 17 1/2 years old and they cared for him his whole life. They also helped save our Irish setter pup Rippley when he got really ill. Hes almost 9 years old now and couldnt imagine our family without him. They are now our Vet for our rescue kitten Loki.
I had to put my dog down here she was around 16 or 17 and couldnt go on much longer. Putting her down is up there on the hardest things I ever went through yet. I didnt have a lot of money so I couldnt afford to have her able to be put down in the house. However, I was extremely pleased with the staff here they made an incredibly emotional time easier for me to process and say my goodbyes. What this place did for me I will never be able to repay I couldnt afford the private cremation which hurt me not to have her ashes. However they gave me her paw print which meant so much to me to have something physical of her to hold on to. As well a little while later in the mail they sent me a lock of her hair. The people that work here helped me so much I will never forget what they did for me and will probably never be able to repay them however is you want to go somewhere that actually cares about you and your pet I highly recommend and praise this place they take good are of people and will go out of there way to help you.
I started taking my pets there and originally I thought I found a vet that I would bring my pets to for years, however after today, I will never return. I found a poor stray cat who after a few weeks, I found to be pregnant. She started having complications due to the pregnancy and I took her in right away. After they did x-rays and charged me a couple hundred dollars, they didnt take the kittens. They said if she didnt have the kittens within 12-24 hours bring her in because she will need an emergency c-section. I called them back because the cat went into labor and was having extreme difficulties. Since I had just paid a couple hundred dollars, I was unable to pay the full amount for a c-section and told the secretary that on the phone as I was setting up the appointment. I asked if I could make a payment arrangement, the secretary said if they did that for people then they wouldnt be in business. I asked her what I was supposed to do and she repeated that it was there policy to pay or not be seen. Had they just done the csection the first time I came in with her, I would have had the funding. I am sorry that business matters more than just letting an animal die. Greys and Strays LLC where I never went to before saw the cat right away with no questions asked and no problems with payment. Thanks Annville-Cleona Vet Associates, you will no longer receive my business!
Dr. Keck and staff couldnt have been more helpful during our cats recent illness. She was very sick and he couldnt make any promises, but through their caring and kindness she is doing great! Dr. Keck would call several times a day to see how she was doing and while she was hospitalized we could visit anytime during office hours. We would recommend to everyone!
Recently we took our 6 yr old Healer here in an emergency visit. He had been suffering from seizures for quite a while even with regular medication and was in a cycle which we could not stop.We called Cleona vet just 15 minutes prior to arriving letting them know we needed their help with our dog. When we arrived, they were prepared for us and quickly went into action trying to relieve our Healer of a painful seizure cycle which was still ongoing. As we waited the vet and techs took care to relieve our dog and to settle him. They stayed by his side for more than an hour carefully monitoring him.Unfortunately as the days events unfolded we had to say goodbye to our dog as the seizures were too much to overcome even with an IV and heavy medication. The folks here did everything we really needed and we couldn’t be more thankful for their kindness and attention to our needs even with a full schedule tending to many other pets. We’ll certainly continue to call on these folks for our other pets in the future.
VERY expensive. Be careful, they will run tests you don’t need and tack on extra charges to run up your bill. Used to love this place, with them 10 years, something happened, it’s not the pet/family friendly practice it was, all they care about any more is the bottom line.
March 25th 2020 i called at 4pm told women working there that my blind dog had just ran into a concrete bench and cut his head. I asked if he could be seen . She said NO the would be closing in an hour and a half. But i could drive 30 miles to lancaster tohazerllloolookeloohichec.ZERI ZEROZERO
Contacted this office due to needing an emergency c-section for a cat that was having labor complications. Secretary who answered the phone severely lacked empathy whatsoever, and stated that they would not see the cat because they hadnt seen it before. They referred us to a place over an hour away. Which by that time, all kittens had died.

2022-05-19As a client of ACVA years ago and since recently returning, the Doctors and staff have always been exceptional! Among knowledgeable, experienced and well priced for services - the Doctors and staff also offer compassion, understanding and kindness towards the animals and clients that they serve. I’ve always seen Dr. Emily and today, had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Alex! Familiar faces Lindsey, Jenny and Diane have been so welcoming and remember my pets from years ago. Returning to ACVA has been a blessing and guaranteed, I know my pets are getting the best care that Lebanon County has to offer.

2022-06-29I was pleased from the moment I walked in the door. I didn’t wait, everyone was attentive, caring, and kind. Joselyn was extremely knowledgeable and caring. Dr. Keck, was very thorough and he followed up with a phone call the next day regarding lab results (not his assistant). I also liked that I was given options and costs for work needed. No guessing or surprises. I was nervous about finding a new vet since mine retired, but I’m glad I was directed here.

2022-03-18I just had the best, least stressful vet visit I ever had thanks to the wonderful staff here. I have a big, noisy, friendly german shepherd that will bark at new people until he gets a chance to greet them. People are often afraid of him because hes loud and large, and I understand their fear but he really is harmless. The staff here all took the time to let him calm down and never judged us for his barking. They made me feel welcome and did such an excellent job making this a good visit for both my boy and me.

2022-02-04Everyone at this office are very pleasant and helpful. They make you feel comfortable about leaving your pet in their care. I have been coming to this office for about 12 years and I would not take my pets anywhere else.

2022-06-07Our puppy had his first two checkups here while he was still with the breeder. I called and requested for them to send our puppies records to our new vet. I spoke to Hope and she seemed annoyed and acted like this was an unreasonable request. As far as customer service goes, I would go somewhere else. I hope Hope has a better day

2022-03-08I brought my dog in after she got sick over Christmas. Kaylee my fur baby had a terrible cough. I called my vet they couldnt or wouldnt see her for a week. I called ACVA and they had her in in two days like she was one of there regulars. My baby was not coughing in 3 days. Will happily stay with this office.

2022-05-21Its good that theres a quality veterinarian near me. However, they charge $60.00 to clip nails and clean ears. My prior veterinarian would do this at no charge.
