I placed a large group order with my coworkers this evening, the part of the order that we got was enjoyable. Unfortunately 3/9 orders were incorrect. I placed the order through DoorDash, my order came on time and the driver was very pleasant. When I called Applebees with the concern Edward E answered the phone and admitted that he knew the order was incorrect when the driver picked it up! He then transferred me to said manager, who did not take my complaint seriously, and put the blame on the door dash driver, saying he ATE MY MEAL. Unbelievable. Might as well have ordered McDonald.
We were very impressed with the service and food but this time not so much very disappointed ☹️
In Butler PA for a baseball tournament, went to Applebees for dinner. I guess it was fairly busy for a Wednesday night but again, not too many options in Butler. Our server was less then enthusiastic, and it took way too long to get our food, I was almost done my beer, which was not a full pour, but thats another story. I ordered the bbq brisket tacos....not good. Not much brisket in the cold flour tortilla. It came with fries, which is an odd side for tacos, and they were cold. My wifes meal, a chicken dish, she liked it but the potion was small, by my standards. Odds are we are not going back to this Applebees on this trip.
Always the best place to go for veterans day. Fun talking with local veterans and sharing stories. Not to mention the great friendly service from everyone working! Thanks everyone for a great veterans day.

I always love Applebees. We go here twice or more in a month. My favorite is the appetizer Chicken wonton tacos and boneless wings with Asian Chile sauce. 😊
Absolutely disgusting food both nights we went to eat here. We were in town om for business and sad to day this is the only late night food. Beggars cant be chooser though.....

Love Applebees half off appetizers happy hour. The pretzel bread is delish. At our location happy hour was between 4-6 p everyday. I didnt see that info on website.
I stopped in for a burger the other. I always get the BBQ bacon burger. Was a little disappointed not as good as usual. The burger just wasnt that good. But the staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean!
It was good food, pretty peaceful by myself eating for the day. I had a burger and fries which were great and a mozzarella stick appetizer. That hit the spot and I also ordered the chicken salad to go, for later. It looked very good and Im sure for dinner I wont have any complaints about it. My server was very nice and attentive and asked if I needed extra marinara to take home even.
The food and drinks were Fantastic! However some of the management is yet to be desired.

We went for Dollar Magaritas which were great and much better than expected. Our waitress was ok. It took her awhile to bring us new drinks and mixed up the bill. The food was not great. I wouldnt go back unless it was for the Magaritas.
We both had the rib eye - medium rare, green beans, garlic mashed potatoes. Small issue with one steak - the whole plate was quickly replaced.Trisha was our very attentive and friendly waitress. Well done, Trisha. Thank you. 🙂

Ordered Applebee’s using DoorDash to our hotel. We could see the restaurant from our hotel window and DoorDash was ahead of schedule but fries were cold and hard, fish was small and taste disappointing. Chicken tacos were soggy and falling apart. Applebee’s should be ashamed of the food they provided.
I spent over $80 on this place and the food was awful, even the sweet tea I ordered was bad. How does one manage to mess up sweet tea???? The dessert thats similar to a lava cake was the only good thing but its not going to be enough to bring me back again. I dont recommend ordering from this place if youre able to splurge a little on a big meal, huge waste of money!
Excellent service at the Butler crossing Applebees . The chief there cooks the food to perfection. Well seasoned and comes out hot and cooked right . Our server was good and took good care of us . This is not like that though at all locations .
The waitresses where giving happy endings in the bathroom,... awesome time
Was terribly disappointed. Our waitress was almost non existent despite the near bear establishment. I got a half rack of ribs, and once I cut off the first rib to my despair it was all bone and the smallest sliver of anything edible. The rest of the rack followed suit. The fries are delicious and fresh.
Great location for us. The wait staff is always friendly. Plus now you can eat at the bar when its busy.
I ordered nachos with no meat (cause Im vegetarian)...its come with barely any cheese or Pico on it..most of the chips were plain. I asked if I could get some queso and she tells me it will be $3 but since I didnt get meat, maybe I dont have to pay...she comes back with the cheese and doesnt say anything about me paying then on the bill I see they charged me. So $16...😤
I called about 8:15pm to place a cause to go order. Got there about 8:45. Sat for a minute before a worker came out and told me that I had to go in to get my order. I wasnt happy about having to go in as I have a physical handicap and should have been told they dont come out after 8:30. Manager apologized and gave me 10% off. Food was great. Overall pretty good experience, just need to be clear on late orders that they wont come out.

My burger was ok, but the food others in my party got was rather disappointing. My other guests got steaks, and they were low quality and the cook on them was not what was requested.
Service was slow to non existent Appetizer was burnt.Took a while for our dinner to come out and when it did had to send it back because the burger was not cooked and the fries were cold. She apologized several times but her attitude suggested she could have care less. We will not be returning to this restaurant. We have given them plenty of business over the past year and have decided we have had enough.

This is our current favorite dinner place. My kids are adults now and we all have different eating habits, but we can always find something for each of us here.The son likes the steaks, ribs and shrimp. The daughter always finds something healthy to eat and I go between the steaks and lemon chicken, or pasta then get dessert.The staff at this location is amazing! Ive yet to have a bad experience...and we meet here weekly now. Im a pain in the butt too, cause I always use gift cards from online and they have to hand punch them in. They never seem to mind! Highly recommend!
I havent ever been to an apple bees that had likely close to 20 people working, was half empty, had 2 managers full of hot air, and still waited nearly 45 minutes for appetizers brought with no plates or napkins and still no meals in site.
My family and I ate here on Saturday. The girls ate off the kids menu. My husband and I ate the bbq ribs. The ribs were good. Our side dishes were a little cold. I expected a little bit more attention from our server. The other servers brought our food to our table and our dessert. I did not have a big complaint about this dinner trip.
Was out with friends. The waitress was super kind and real. I was driving so could not drink alcohol, but wanted to feel like. The waitress gave me a cup of cherries no extra charge. The food was delicious. Very relax atmosphere!!

I used to love applebees but since covid it seems like the quality really went down hill. I ordered the chicken alfredo and asked for my broccoli to be soft which it was but my chicken was so chewy and gross like maybe it was microwaved idk I ate everything but chicken and it seemed like the portion was ALOT smaller too.i get covid changed things but at least try in my opinion.

Very disappointing. My steak was over done and tough. Tasted like cows a$$hole. My two sides looked like they were scrapped off of someone’s left over table scraps. Disgusting.
It took more than 30 minutes to get our food and my steak was overcooked and the baked potatoe was cold. Although, I must give credit to the manager for the 10 dollar discount. Thanks but next time just cook my food the way I want it and serve it hot.
UPDATED from a month ago: The food is still good, but on our latest visit the waitress was really pushing for us to order from the first moment she came to our table. When she asked if we were ready to order, we said not yet but ordered drinks. When she brought the drinks, we were still mulling over the menu and she said shed give us a minute. Really? Well she came back, literally in LESS than a minute and said, Okay, third times the charm, are you ready yet? This was before their rush time and though they were getting busy, there were still several empty tables/booths. Then, the drinks were supposed to be in FROSTED mugs and when I mentioned that, she said, Well, they get order too fast to frost them. Okay, then TELL CUSTOMERS THAT instead of assuming theyll accept a drink not as advertised.Call me picky, but that takes them from 4 Stars to 3 Stars.Like most chain restaurants, they have good and bad days. USUALLY, the food is good (served hot) and the wait staff is friendly. As chains go, this is one of the better ones, and the menu selection is not bad at all.Id give it a 5-Star except for the noise and the sometimes long wait time for a seat.
My family and I went for the all you can eat apps and we were very frustrated. We waited 40 minutes for our food to come. The other orders didnt take quite that long but to get our first round was quite upsetting. Not to mention our waitress seemed to be in a hurry to get rid of us. We had to track her down to get refills and she kept asking if we wanted boxes instead of asking if we needed anything else. It was a very frustrating experience
WOW has this place improved in the last year!! Food and service has improved so much that Ive given 5 stars. Go see for yourself, you wont be dissatisfied.
I like Applebees but would like to see more variety on the menu. Also would like more inclusions on tg he 2 fer meals. Food is always good though and portions are ample.

We stopped by for appetizers and a drink. I like the $1 drink specials because I can try something without worrying about wasting money if I dont like it. I had a vodka strawberry lemonade that was good. We had the mixed appetizer platter which was just right for the two of us and a good variety of food.
First we were told from the hostess it was about a 45min wait to get seated. She took my cell phone number and told me Id get a text when our table was ready. After about an hour we asked how much longer and found out our reservation was not in their tablet. So they finally got us seated, took our order. Took 50 minutes to get our food. The fries were awful. The manager came over to see how things were, so we told him and all he did was give excuses. Offered us free dessert but told him none of us wanted that, so offered a discount. There were 3 checks and all 3 were discounted differently. So we asked our waitress about that who didnt understand things. She tried to fix it but made it worse. After over 3.5 hours there we just paid and got out of there. Very disappointed.
Great food and delicious food. However, I was extremely disappointed that this location doesnt offer a veggie burger substitute. Not many options for vegetarians at all.

Manager and server were friendly. We were asking about the Asian zing sauce and they were helpful with letting us know the ingredients. I would have rated it 5 stars if we didnt have to keep shoeing the fly away.

Good appetizers and very good food. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was because it was loud inside. There needs to be more a divider between the bar and the tables. Not everyone wants to watch TV while they are eating or hear people yelling at their sports team. Some of us have an issue hearing with background noise. If you are like me you will have that issue here. Other than that very nice restaurant and very clean, very nice staff

I use to love going to butler just to eat here, not sure if there is a new cook or what. But I ALWAYS get the same thing, it tasted so gross that I legit only had one bite and didn’t eat anymore, my friend had the same and her chicken didn’t even look fully cooked she’s pregnant AT THAT. So disappointed, I won’t be back!Get it together....
Thank you, Applebees! Finally an establishment that I went to in Butler that got it right from the moment I walked in until the moment I left! I was greeted quickly by Kristen on arrival. She even opened the door for me to come in. Then walked me to my table while making some friendly chit chat. Allison was my server and she was Fantastic! I ordered a Thai salad with shrimp and it came out quickly and it was delicious! Allison checked back with me making sure all was perfect! The place is very clean and nicely decorated. The entire experience here that was provided by these people with positive attitudes, friendly demeanor, and smiling faces really made my day! Add all that to the great food, and this place deserves an Excellent review! People of Butler, and visitors like me, take notice!! This is how its done!
For me Applebee’s has always been a fantastic restaurant and I can say for sure even now their service time is amazing, however the recent meals I have gotten from them have been extremely salted and that statement is applied for all of my food but other than that I will keep going!! Keep up the good work.

Went to Applebees had 1 drink & was eating ribs so of course your eyes are going to be shut for a second so we were almost done asked for another drink & they said we saw you nodding off so were not serving you & Im stone cold sober so i dont know what the deal was. So Id score it a 1.5 & they were very discriminatory at its.
Good service, staff is pleasant. They always have really great deals going on for the month. Good atmosphere for friends and family. I enjoy going here to grab a drink and some appetizers with friends! Prices are very decent. Ive never had a bad experience at this location! Service is always prompt even when busy.

The waitress was very good, but the food was horrible! My wifes steak was like shoe leather. I had a chicken breast substitute for a burger and i asked for no pickle and no tomato. It came piled high with pickles and tomatoes. The chicken pattie was like chewing on a tire. This cook sucks!!!!!

We ordered curbside pickup right after Butler County in PA opened up. When I got home and unpacked the order, I was missing chicken strip with fries order. I called, told the woman I was missing part of my order; she placed me on hold. I was on hold for 8-10 minutes then someone picked it up, realized I was on the line and hung up. So I called back but asked for a manager. Again, placed on hold and waited 8-10 minutes for someone to pick. I got someone, I think he said his name was Lowell, Lloyd,????....he apologized profusely, said theyve been doing takeout since the pandemic began so they should be able to get it right. He said he would send out a gift card since I already paid for the chicken meal and didnt receive it. 4 weeks later nothing. I called back only to be apologized to and still nothing. This place has stolen its last dime from me. Crooks.
The restaurant was busy, so I am giving them a huge benefit of the doubt. Went to eat with my children. When the waitress came, I specifically told her that I had limited time, and that I wanted my food as soon as possible, not brought out all together. The waitress told us nothing about the specials, didnt bring my food out when it was done, it was all together, so I had to get it to go. Some items from our order were not brought out at all, and she wasnt not very attentive to us service wise at all. And to top it all off, my daughter received something she didnt order, and when she told the waitress, she brought her the correct food item that was to be included with the meal, but was charged for it. When my daughter brought it to the waitresses attention, she said that she told my daughter the wrong thing, but didnt take it off. Horrible experience, and we wont return to this particular Applebees Grill + Bar in the future.
Applebees is one place you can always count on getting good food no matter where the restaurant may be. Their consistency is first rate. I like the atmosphere of this particular one. Its slightly different than the standard layout and just a bit more elegant. We always have a great meal at Applebees...and this location has never let us down.
The food here is awful. Every time I have ever been here my meal is just barely edible. How this is a successful chain restaurant is beyond me. I only ate here because someone gave me a gift card. Which, in hindsight, I should have just re-gifted to someone else. Will never go here again.
The staff here are all super friendly and seem to actually want to make the customers experience a good one.The half price appetizers after 9pm on weekdays and 10pm on weekends is the best thing going.The rest of the menu is pretty good too, but in all honesty I mostly come for the apps. Great place though!
We went to dinner on our 49th wedding anniversary. We had a very nice time and great dinners. It was the weekend after Valentines day, crowded but we enjoyed the time there. Did not have a long wait for anything. We will go there again. Just loved it.

2022-06-26Nice relaxing atmosphere. They have a full bar (spirits, wines and beers). Very nice menu with plenty of items in each category like steaks, chicken, sea food, pork, salads, Veggies and appetizers. The staff are professional, friendly and attentive. There are men and women restrooms and handicap parking and access. Nice dinning experience.

2021-10-04Usually don’t have problems with this Applebee’s but I did an order Togo on the app and when I got home I didn’t have all of the food I ordered and was charged for also the food was disappointing French onion soup barely had a cup in it, and the chicken tortilla was old the chicken was brown and dry. I also got the shrimp for a $1 because I got steak (cooked incorrectly and fatty) but never actually got them and my queso cheese didn’t get the chipotle chicken added to it, I was charged for all of this but didn’t get a lot of it. Too make it worse the problem was never corrected.

2022-02-14My fiancee and I went for Valentines Day this year. We typically try to have our dates here if we go out to eat and typically have a good time. This time wasnt the case, however. From the moment we ordered our drinks we felt unwelcome. The waitress Kayla seemed like shed rather be any place else honestly. I had to ask twice for water and acted like it was a huge task. Even asking for extra napkins seemed like too much for her. Plus when our appetizers were brought out we were given dirty place. I figured no big deal my fiancee wanted the pretzels and I wanted the wings so we just used the plates they were on. I informed her the plates were dirty when she took them and she gave me a dirty look. When our food came out my steak was overcooked and she tried telling me it wasnt. The second steak was better in color but a little tough but I really didnt want to wait again so I told her it was fine and got a box to go we were given boxes we could barely fit our food in. Honestly the only good part about the experience was the Tipsy Cupids. My fiancee and I really liked them. My fiancee was the one who wanted to pay today and she felt it would be wrong not leave Kayla a tip at all so she left two dollars for her. I pointed out that we should tip the blonde bartender girl because the drinks were the best part and was the first in the staff to actually make us feel welcome with her heartfelt thank you. I dont know if its because it was a holiday but the experience really could have been better. Drinks shouldnt be the the best part of a meal. Our waitress seemed to be very polite to everyone else around too it was just use that seemed to be a bother to her so I dont know if she thought we were just two girls coming in and taking a table away from a couple or something more view based.My fiancee and I will stop back in the future. Were just really disappointed. I proposed to her there after all back in September so we really do enjoy eating at Applebees and typically do have a good time. Its just sad that today of all days we felt so unwelcome there.

2022-06-06Never ever ask if you want your change back of course I want my change back. We went here hungry was rushed through she never gave us time to look at the menu. Waited half hour for food beer was so warm we couldnt drink it. So when the food came half my ff where scattered over the table cause our plates were slammed down. She never came back to see if we needed anything. What really topped it off I gave her money and she says you want your change back I said of course I do doesnt everyone and she said most people dont. Look its a customer to tip if you deserve it. I was going to leave a good tip plus the change but not this time. Your manager walked around yawning he could of cleared plates away from our table at least will not be back for awhile and when we do I hope we dont get her for a waitress
