Our dog loves coming to Barkadelphia so much that “daycare” is a banned word in our house because he gets SO excited. You can really tell the staff loves what they do, and the dogs they’re responsible for. The necessary attention to detail they provide to make this a safe environment for all dogs who attend keeps my mind at ease while our dog gets to live his best life. A tired dog is a good dog, and with all the fun he has here he comes home worn out every time!

My dog loves barKadelphia so much that even during our evening walks, he will insist on pulling me to the door to say hi to the folks there. What sets this place apart is the staff. They care about all the dogs so much and work hard to ensure they’re happy and have a great day.

This doggie daycare is the absolute best in Philadelphia. The people that work there are warm, kind, and absolutely love my dog. They remember his birthday and take photos of him for Instagram with a birthday hat; they play with them all day....Gage LOVES going to doggie daycare. The people are truly amazing. My boyfriend was diagnosed with a brain tumor and it was a complete shock. I was at the hospital, and I thought that I was not going to be able to make it there before closing to pick Gage up. When I called, the staff offered to take him home for the night and take care of him so that I could stay with my boyfriend. They are the most amazing group of people. I trust them 100% with my dog....and you should too. You wont be disappointed.

Barkadelphia is absolutely incredible. I started sending my puppy when he was just six months old and he went 1-2 times a week for almost two years. The staff was always happy to see me and my dog and were greeting us by our names within just a week. The owners are clearly committed to creating a safe, stimulating environment for the dogs. Mine always rushed right in and came out tired as anything (which is saying a lot for an Australian Shepherd). I never had a single problem and I always felt safe leaving my dog there. I cannot recommend them enough. If it were not for moving out of Philadelphia, we would still be there.

Ive been taking my dog to Barkadelphia for just over a year and couldnt be happier with it. Every staff member Ive met has been extremely warm and friendly towards me and my dog. My schedule can be a bit unpredictable and they are always so accommodating with squeezing my dog in or allowing us to cancel last minute. My dog loves it there and I never worry that hes not being appropriately watched or cared for at Barkadelphia. Its definitely much better than the daycare we used in our previous neighborhood - Im so grateful that theyre nearby!

The workers understood that my dog had anxiety supposedly with their bell system and they constantly kept putting him in that situation. My dog was always blamed for the incidents even though it was other dogs that act aggressive. If you have pit bulls they will definitely judge your dog first over the others. The owner is neurotic and makes her staff respond to any complains in instead of addressing it herself. Definitely do not recommend this dog day care

Always friendly and my pup loves it there! The first few times I had to drag him in (he hates leaving me) but now he drags ME in- so I know he has the best time. I also love the Saturday deal where I can drop him for only a few hours and tire him out and not pay a fortune!

Im so late reviewing Barka, but I have to give them 5 stars. When my Benny started going here 5 years ago we knew he was in good hands. Danielle, Jackie and Jaime were like family to him. He loved them so, so, much and I know they adored him too. I miss dropping him off every Friday, and writing this makes me miss my boy so much. If you have a little dog that you want to meet other little dogs, you can trust Jackie and the Barka crew. They know how to take care of the little ones just as good as the big ones. Thank you Jackie!

You wont find a better day care for your dog in Philly. We are fanatical about our little lady and asked her trainer to recommend a facility in the city. She quickly suggested barKadelphia for two reasons: they have set up their business with a few rooms to give the dogs some space and the owner Jackie is great to work with. Were so glad we asked for that recommendation because Jackie and the staff at barKadelphia have been a real joy. Its amazing how they keep the place so clean and organized with happy dogs coming and going all the time. Nell has gone there twice a week since for nearly a year and over that time weve seen first hand how friendly, flexible, hard working, knowledgable and passionate they are about dogs and their business. They earned our trust instantly and as a result we know that shes having a fun, active and safe day when shes there. Most importantly, Nell is always happy and eager to get there, and a little sad to leave. This really is a great place run by great people.

Neighbors we run into on our walks have all encouraged us to visit. Rightfully so, as Barkadelphia has been an extremely valuable resource for us in providing feedback, general guidance, and an outlet for socialization for our rescue. Weve already seen improvement in her behavior and mood through the couple of months she has been visiting and we couldnt be happier about it.
