Best Choice was a pleasure to work with. Their dispatch was responsive and communicated well and Sam, who came to our property to fix a pipe, was on-time, professional and efficient. They are my first and only choice if I have another plumbing issue.

Val came on his late shift to install our garbage disposal. He was quick, professional, and super nice. Consummate professional and he deserves all the accolades. Because of his service will definitely use Best Choice again.
Vince, Frank and Chris were very knowledgeable and professional and got the job done quickly. Replaced two bathroom vanities and toilet. Also put new shut-off valves throughout. Reasonable prices and quality work.
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICES!!!!!Called to request information for my mother she did not have water for 14 days, she is 78 yrs old my dad is blind and the person when I called for information was so rude and cant believe they way she spoke to me. I know things are hard no staff and delay every where but I was nice when I call and only need it to know what day the work would be done, she said some one will call back and by the tone knew that that was brushing me off and also very rude told me I will guarantee you mom will not have water for Christmas the job was schedule for the 3rd this year and got reschedule for January 5th. Called the Water Department and reported so they will never hire this Company for any other job. STAY AWAY!
I was having a non-urgent issue with the plumbing my powder room and called Best Choice Plumbing. They had a plumber, Val, out here early the following day. He did an amazing job. The guy was professional, courteous, thorough, fast, incredibly conscientious and did a great job! Even with having to get parts, the job was completed in less than an hour, and he left the space as clean as he found it. If the rest of their staff is like Val, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Best Choice. And, thank you, Val!
I recommend Best choice plumbing. Had a kitchen sink drain clog for over a year and Bill the plumber came in and fix the problem. Bill was very knowledgeable and will experience. I am one happy person. Thank you Bill for fixing my sink drain .
Requested maintenance service on hot water boilers at our Apt from Best Choice and was scheduled for the next day, appreciated the no wait time. Val the technician was on time, very courteous and knowledgeable, he provided pointers to look out for with the systems and explained what we would need to do next, which was much appreciated. While it was somewhat challenging to get the office to respond to some questions and took a while to get officially on the books, the plumber who came to check out my hot water heater and ultimately found a replacement and installed it was fantastic.Vince saved the day and solved a problem that other plumbers or companies could not. Recommend Vince 10/10. Grateful for his persistence, positivity and ultimately problem-solving ability. Would definitely ask for Vince again!
We had a major plumbing issue in our homes main water pipe which runs from the third floor to the basement. The first team replaced the old cast iron pipe in the basement and first floor. When I touched the back of the new pipe I could feel water on Both the first floor and the basement. Also the first team re-cemented the basement floor around the pipe and it was also were. We called Best Choice to request someone come out to rectify the problem and they immediately sent Sam and Brain out to make things right. Sam and Brian did a fantastic job. They explained what the issue was and how they were going to correct the problem. They replaced and sealed all the new pipes in about 2 hours. I highly recommend Best Choice Plumbing.This was the third phase of plumbing work we had done and the only call we had to make to correct an issue.
Val was my fixer plumber today. Id like to say he was very, polite. and explained to me what I needed. He repaired the faucets in my sink. Top notch work. I would highly recommend him to everyone. If anything need to be fixed again I would ask for Val.Ms Babe H....have a great day.

I was about to give up on this company last week, I’ve been having water leak in my bathroom upstairs for about 5 weeks, on and off. The company will send someone to fix an issue, it’s good at first and then sometimes it will leak a few weeks after. So that means I have to go back to my house which is a 2 hour drive and see if its an old issue or new issue. Some plumbers are okay, some are horrible. Thank God they sent Tom Y the last week, he fixed my toilet once before and I have to say he’s one of the few honest, reliable plumbers the company has!I’m telling you, plumbers like Tom Y are rare, he did a great job!!! He was very kind, polite, helpful and did a thorough job. I liked how he kept me informed on what was happening. He’s very knowledgeable, polite, and I won’t have to worry anymore about a job that the company already worked on. Thank you! I hope you can find more good folks like him!I do appreciate that best choice sent him as soon as they could on that day, other companies I have to wait a day or two. 4 starts because this was a job that BCP worked on in February

Wow, Best Choice Plumbing & Heating saved the day! I woke up to water in my basement due to a clogged pipe. After having several contractors out to give me astronomical quotes ($600!), I was referred to Best Choice. At the end of a long day (5P), Robert Stec showed up - he was kind and gracious, took the time to teach me about my plumbing system AND got my the house up and running again at a very reasonable price. I cant say enough good things about my experience with Best Choice Plumbing and specifically, Robert. They will definitely be the first call on my list for all plumbing needs.
Jim A replaced my water heater and did an excellent job! He was very professional and knowledgeable about his work. He took the time to explain to me what work was required. We have had a lot of work done recently by Best Choice Plumbing & Heating The individual who put our water heater in did an excellent job. Timothy came and did our faucets in our tub and also did a fabulous job. Charles came on 2/28/20 to fix pipes in our basement and he also did an excellent job. I am very pleased with Best Choice Plumbing and cannot say anything bad about them. Their service and Quality is certainly great and I am very pleased. Me and my husband are very happy and proud of the quality of work they did in our home. They are very profession also.

Had a very good experience with Don from Best Choice. We had a laundry list of items including fixing previous work done by a contractor. Don was quick, efficient, knowledgeable, and communicated well. The final price was also reasonable, which we appreciated. We would definitely use Best Choice again in the future if and when we need.
Best Choice Plumbing replaced my entire water service main line from to street water main to my sidewalk water box. James A and his co worker did an amazing job . They worked very hard, they both wore mask and kept a good social distance. i was very curious on what they had to do so i was watching them threw out the day and they worked very hard to get my water line fixed, it was leaking from the connection on the water main and they had all the right equipment to do the job. by the end of they day they were both covered in mud and i was so surprised on how well they cleaned up. Based on my experience with these young men i would highly recommend using best choice for all your plumbing needs!

Jim G. did an excellent job for us. We had a wet spot/drip in the ceiling below our bathroom. We thought our sink drain was leaking, but it was actually the toilet flange had cracked and was loose. He cut open the ceiling below the bathroom and diagnosed in just a few min. Really incredibly fast and thorough job. He cleaned up afterwards. Very happy with our results and no more leak!

Im so happy that I called Best Choice Plumbing. I called multiple plumbers and no one even answers the phone let alone calls back for a job. I had previously contacted another plumber that came out, said that they fixed my leaking faucet, charged me and my faucet continued to leak even more. I was very upset. It seems very difficult to hire a reliable and honest service provider. I called Best Choice Plumbing and a polite and professional person answered the phone and actually helped me. Sam from Best Choice came out to our home, evaluated the problem and actually fixed it for a fair price. He has over 30 years of experience and it shows. He knew what he was doing. He was friendly, informative and professional. I was so impressed that I called my mom and referred Best Choice to her. Best choice is great!!! We had a problem with my main sewer pipe from the sidewalk to my area drain front om 63rd street Jim A did an amazing job from start to finish he explained everything all day when I had questions he answered them professionally The office was great also so was the water department. If you need a sewer line fixed up ask for Jim A he really knows his stuff and works very hard I will recommend best choice to all my friends family and everyone at the church

This company is wonderful!I recently just had work done by Best Choice and i am very pleased with the service i was provided. For starters I spoke to the receptionist Alexis, She was very polite and helpful. I had a leak in my basement and needed a plumber out ASAP. Alexis had sent a plumber out in a timely matter which i was very pleased about. The plumber Joe was such a gentleman, He explained and showed me the issue that was going on. He left me with a reasonable quote to get the work repaired. I had to go over getting the work done with my husband there for i did not get the work done that night of service. The next day i received a follow up call from Alexis seeing if i wanted to get the work done. WOW i was very pleased to see how this company keeps up with their customers. After speaking with my husband i called Best Choice and Scheduled the work to be completed. Over all my experience with this company was great. I Plan on using Best Choice as my to go to Plumber!! I wasnt getting enough hot water. The first plumbing company I went to did not properly diagnose the problem and refused to assist any further. My wife and I were frustrated that we couldnt get the problem diagnosed and corrected. I contacted Best Choice. Vince felt our frustration and put in the extra effort and time to figure out what the problem was. With his help, we can address the issue and have hot water again. Thanks Vince. After the time and frustration we went through, we are fortunate to work with Best Choice.
Plumbing repair. Jimmy Givens (plumber) came to replace shut off valve on toilet. He was professional and friendly. He reviewed the job for repair and replacement parts. I would recommend him and Best Choice Plumbing without reservation.

I just want to give a shout out to Best Choice Plumbing for their dedicated and timely service. Specifically, I want to give props to Ryan G., Ryan S. & Bill Z. for their hard work, attention to detail and terrific service. They replaced approximately 20 feet of old cast iron piping as well as replaced an old water line from the curb to the house. They are all very nice guys and great workers!!!Also, thanks to Sam for coming out to finish up some cement work! Great job as well!
I called best choice out to give me a estimate on a violation i got from the water department. I had a 10 day shut off notice so it was a time sensitive mater to get this issue corrected. The Plumber Jim came out. He seemed like a nice dude. He told me he had to get pricing from the owner and that the office will email me over the estimate. I informed him about the 10 day shut off notice. He guaranteed me that the office will send me the estimate that day. That day turned in to 5 days and still no estimate. Every time i would call the office i would be rushed off the phone and promised the estimate would be emailed over to me shortly. I gave the office my email 3 times. Totally UN acceptable. I called a different plumbing company out for a estimate i received the estimate onsite with the plumber and was able to sign the contract and get a date to get the work done. To this day still no email from best choice. If you do not want to do business with someone you need to let them know and not string them along. i will never use this company again. The way they do business is a mess.
Had Val come to the house to give a estimate on replacing a pipe and they was a lot cheaper then the other company’s but also he fixed it that day. We still didn’t hear back from the other company’s. Great experience
Highly recommend Best Choice Plumbing & Heating. Had another plumber come out last week, gave me an estimate, hired him for the job and he was a no show. No phone call, not even a text. My neighbor suggested Best Choice. I called them at 9:30 this morning and they had someone out here by 12 to do the work. He was courteous, cleaned up, and left me with a working hot shower! AND I SAVED 200 bucks! Will definitely be contacting Best Choice moving toward!
Jim came out and within 10 min figured out where the leak was coming from. And he had it repaired in about 5 min. So he was in and out with in 30 min and the repair was solid. They don’t overcharge either so I’ll be using them going forward on all my properties.
Very professional and honest. I have oil heat in my home and needed a repair on the system that led tome finding out my oil company tried to get over on me. When called out on it, the company was rude and defensive but still had to right my situation. I appreciate the help from Best Choice and the maintenance that was done. Highly recommend and will definitely use in the future!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYI am very big with choosing businesses to use based off the reviews online. So I always leave a review after my experience with a company to help other community members pick the right business to use.From my first call to this company I should have known not to waste my time with them. The women who answered the phone was very rude and mis formative. I set up a appointment for the following day and was given a time frame between the hours of 11-2. Fast forward to the next day the time was 1:52 pm I called in to make sure I was still on schedule and I was told very rudely your appointment was between 11-2 it is not 2 yet your still on schedule. So I hung up and waited until 2 o’clock came and still no call. I called back into the office... I than asked to speak to the manager and I was transferred to Emily. Emily was just as rude as the first women I spoke to. I Wish I would have gotten her name so I could display it on my review. After speaking with Emily I chose to cancel my appointment with Best Choice Plumbing. If your management is not helpful then that overall displays how the company is ran. I did not want to get work done with this company if I’m already having a bad experience just with the office/ management. A week later I used City Plumbing and signed a contract with them the same day to have my water service replaced.(I got a violation from the water department) City Plumbings office was very helpful and got a tech out the same day I called. I didn’t need to call into the office requiring where my plumber was. I got updated calls from City Plumbing on the eta of their plumber. A very great experience with them. I hope my comment can help other community members choose the correct company for their plumbing matters. I take office experience very serious that is the company’s core. No one Should have to call a company to find out answers about their appointment we should be updated from the professionals. Due to poor staff and management I chose to not use this company. If you would like to discuss this further please have the owner give me a call.
I am sharing my experience with Best Choice, I did call a different company to fix my heater prior Best Choice and all what they are looking for is to sale me a new heater for $8500 and keep telling me that the quality of my heater is bad and I need to replace it and will not going to get fixed, they sound like they trying to make money from me specially my heater is 10 year old and it is very good shape, I dont want to say the name of this company, then I called Best Choice. It is the first time and I dont know if this company good or bad but it has a decent rating. A technician (Brine) came and fixed my heater in 2 hours and cost me only $250.00. I had to wait little bit more the waiting time but comparing to pay $8500 to only $250 it worth it. They focusing on fixing the heater not to sale me another heater.
I have used Best Choice Plumbing as a general contractor and as a homeowner for over 20 years. I know many top rated general contractors that used them. They are a local family business but they are big enough with more than a couple good plumbers and lots of trucks to handle all a serious volume and 24/7 emergency.
I am a renter so my landlord found this company to handle several issues with our home; garbage disposal clogged and sink not draining, a leaking toilet leaking into the floor below, another sink drain flooding the basement, and an HVAC clogged condensation pipe. Every time they entered my home, the workers were kind, competent, and professional. They are timely and responsive as well. Overall a great company with great service.

I was buying a house and I called Best Choice Plumbing to scope the line and give me a plumbing and heating certification. They gave me a great price on both. I called them based on the reviews and price and I could not be happier. The woman in the office was able to explain the process and line me up with an appointment for the following day. They came out first thing and did a full check on the pipes and heating system. They also scoped the line out front. They saved me from purchasing a house that I would have had to put thousands of dollars into replacing the heating and plumbing. Thank you Best Choice Plumbing. When I find another house I will definitely call them again.
It is difficult to say just how glad I am that we called Best Choice Plumbing.We have been trying to install a bathroom in the basement of the house. While tying into the sewage line we noted water coming back into the house and running 50+ foot of snake did not resolve the issue. We called Best Choice to come out and give us some idea of what issues may have been going on.Sam came out on Monday and then again on Tuesday with Jim to assess the problems. When the problem seemed related to work being done by the city on the water lines, Sam spoke with the city inspector personally to get the job taken care of by the city, at no cost to us. I cannot say how grateful we are that Sam and Jim came out and fought on our behalf. Without them there is no way we could have convinced the city to rectify the issue. The work will be done tomorrow by the city and then Best Choice will also do work on our storm drain street trap.I highly recommend Sam and Jim. They were thorough, helpful in their explanations, and truly advocates for us. I believe Sam and Jim went above and beyond the expected. Many thanks.Once all this major work is complete, we will finally be able to finish installing the bathroom in our basement.
I called Best Choice Plumbing because of a leaking water heater. I received the price upfront (which was a great help) and they were able to complete the work the same day. There were no hidden fees and the technicians completed the job without incident. I will definitely use them again.
Absolutely terrible experience with them for a sewer scope on a house inspection. Called 2 weeks before the date of inspection and they said they would call 48 hrs before to confirm. No call from them until I followed up 24 hrs prior and asked what the deal was. Their response was they didnt know tomorrows schedule until 5pm that day. They then hurried out someone that same day when I could not be present for it and relayed the results to the sellers listing agent. This does me zero good because the sellers agent said everything was fine and I never even got a call from Best Choice about the results until I continued to call. A week after closing, the sewer line is completely clogged and I dont even know if they did the work because of their terrible service.
They came out & damaged another system in the house, then tried to convince me they didnt & charge me to fix it, which they did without my authorization. When I refused to pay them, they actually sent the technician back to undo the work. They will take advantage of you, if they can. Even the price of the initial work was steep. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY IF YOU EXPECT FAIRNESS!

I had sewage backing up in my basement. I called other plumbers and was quoted these outrageous prices to fix it and they hung up. I called Best and they worked out an affordable payment plan for me. They came out, did the job on time and I have had no sewage problem since. I like them because they respond quickly to emergencies. I believe because they are apart of the community they serve, they really try to be fair in their pricing.

Best Choice was hired to perform all plumbing functions for the entire building and all its residential and commercial units /spaces.Best Choice was on the job daily and performedExceptionally in all areas including underground utility piping and connections, main plumbing and Storm Water piping as well as all the finishes.Jeff Morrocco and Mike Carson stand out as two exemplary representatives of their company! Had Sam Lux come out on July 4th weekend!had a leak that was killing my floors and my dining roomhe hunted leak down and solved problem! Amazing service when no one else was working in Philly! I called 22 other places first but these guys were the only ones to take care of it!Stong work!!!
My condensate pump stopped working, so I decided to call Best choice. In the heat of the summer, I have an appt with them from the time frames 12 to 2. The guys arrived more around 3 pm... didnt get the job done my AC wasnt working correctly. They admitted they werent the hvac guys ( they were the plumbers). They stated I would have to call the office and schedule again... meanwhile its 99 degrees outside! They arrived again on a Tuesday and replaced the pump. My issue is they never installed the shut off switch on the wall and there were wires everywhere. They just came out Monday and stated that my AC unit is blowing hot air and how its due to the insulation under the dry wall... fast forward to today and I just had the drywall removed to get the insulation out. Thought that would help with the ventilation (as they recommended). Turned on the AC and its still blowing hot air. I dont know what else to do but I will never recommend this company to anyone. The only guy that I can say is very knowledgable from this company is the senior HVAC technician that goes by the name of Jimmy.
Best Choice did great job at replacing a corroded waste line. They gave use the best price for the job. They had a quick response time and handled they permitting and one call services. The crew at the site was very professional. They worked very cleanly. They did not leave any mess in the house or out in the street. Most importantly they were safe. They used shoring while in the excavation and barricaded the work site. I would absolutely recommend Best Choice.
Imagine the city turning off your water for 12 days during COVID due to a cracked expansion loop that lies under the sidewalk! I contracted Best Choice through the city and Ron and Alex came out and saved the day! Two of the nicest guys ever and did a beautiful job; they went above and beyond to make a stressed-out-me feel like everything would be okay. And it was! Their workmanship was clean and precise and respectful of everything around them -- and they even left me with a swept sidewalk. Best choice replace my line from water main to my line in sidewalk on Hartville STREET JIM A and his brother RACH L did good job both men work hard very hard with face mask on today. JIM explain all my questions with knowledge he ask me if I want to replace my line all the way to basement witch was notNessasary but I really am thankful for him to ask all these questions. Very hard job very muddy mess and they clean up so so well. The water company came and shut my water off and left a big mess but best choice and his guys made it look like they never came. I called the company because of the high rating and its close to my home. They came very fast and get the job done very quick. The only part I was not satisfied with is the price they charged. When technician come for an estimate he told me the lowest price the company charged is $975 so I trust what he said, he got the job done and I paid $975. After that, I gave another call to the company the front desk lady told me the price they charged is depend on the job and theres no mini. of price once they come out for job. After all of that I give some calls to other company they said the job will only cost around $200-$300.So the $975 they charged is for: Replaced 8 section of cast iron main with 4 PVC and 2 ARC bands.I cant afford your future service any more.Thank You.
They did an excellent job on our sewer trap repair. They were referred by a family friend, were eager to get on the job in a timely fashion, completed the work in a clean manner, responded to all post job calls and were very professional. I also thought they offered a professional, fair price and were reasonable. There were no zip code hikes or upgrades. A family company working hard to provide quality service at an affordable price.

More like worst choice. This company has terrible admin practices. The women that answer the phone are always rude and misinformed. This company did not adequately service my unit, or find the problem. I’m out almost $700 and still have a broke unit, and no solutions. Their operations manager just told me that they don’t have the tools needed to service my unit because “it’s too expensive.” Save yourself the hassle and find another contractor.UPDATE! The reply below is inaccurate. Emily was not the office manager I spoke with. My unit is not old, installed in 2014. this company doesn’t have the resources, expertise or organization to fix the problem, and would rather take your money and walk away than honestly communicate their capacity.Another update; Finally, had another contractor come out and look at my unit. He found the leak visually in 5 minutes in the inside coil. Worst choice never even went in the basement to check the inside coil, and unfortunately I didnt know to ask. SAVE YOUR MONEY and choose another vendor.
I was pleased with interactions with the office staff and have used Best Choice twice in the past month -- once to replace our water heater and once to replace / repair our tub faucet (not a small fix but complete replacement of the central part in the wall). Both Jimmy and John, Jr. were professional, understood our price point, and accommodated what we needed in a short amount of time. They answered questions and worked diligently, with no upselling. This company is on my short list for any plumbing job!
Weve used Best Choice on many occasions through the years, and have ALWAYS found them to be prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. They would communicate clearly what was needed and how the job was progressing. Theyve helped us with jobs big and small - from heating issues to drain clearing to leaking pipes. Absolute crooks, in my opinion. I paid $225 to have 2 drains cleared. The guy left before doing the second drain and said a guy would be back tomorrow to finish the job. The new guy came and said hes not there to clean a drain, hes there to install a new bathtub drain. They charged $150 more for him to open the wall, which he then says needs about $3K to complete. I said stop, I dont want the work, I just want my other drain unclogged. He left. I followed up for a MONTH tying to get someone out to finish the 2nd drain cleaning for the $375 I paid. They said they would come back out for another $175. Classic bait and switch. DO NOT USE BEST CHOICE for anything, in my opinion. I have never had such an experience.
Val came out to take a look at an issue we were having with our AC wand was super helpful! He checked all parts of the system and gave me tips about what to check if anything goes wrong in the future, he was awesome!
Had them unclog my main drain and did not do the job completely. Within 7 days it clogged back up and they were unresponsive to my calls and kept telling me the technician would call me back. That was in February and it’s April I am still awaiting a return call after several attempts. Had another company come and the drain is clear for 2 months now! DO NOT Trust this place!
I found them several years ago because they were willing to quote me a price over the phone to replace a toilet when I said I already had the new toilet. Others I called insisted on sending someone out. I was worried I would be overcharged for a simple job.Since then Best Choice has been the one I call. Their management system works very well I never have to wait very long. They have sent someone to dig eight feet down for a broken storm drain joint out by the curb. They have sent someone to repair or replace plumbing fixtures in the duplex I own and in my own house. The service people they send have been experienced and capable which is important for an older house. Once a plumber came thinking he was just giving a quote and then stayed until 10:00 PM to install new bathroom fixtures for the apartment that I was showing the next day.
I have several properties and have used Best Choice Plumbing on numerous occasions, especially the drain cleaning service. They give you a 3 hour window of time. So far, they get there close to the start time. They have always been able to get the job done very professionally, (clean and timely) Their service is reasonably priced. They save me a lot of time and aggravation. Im HAPPY and my tenants are HAPPY.

Best choice was a great choice they beat 2 estimates and were very honest, Jim & his dig crew replaced my sewer pipe and they did a great job in a timely fashion! They worked so hard all day and got the job done, when they left it was cleaned yo very well i thought there was gonna be a huge mess but they did a great job! thank you
I had Best Choice replace a condensate pipe in a closet in our house at the beginning of August, that seemed to go fine. Then we had a flood in the same closet from the drain pipe that goes out of the house. They told us it was from lint back up from the 3rd floor washing machine and said if they put in a trap, it would fix it because if it were to happen again (which they promised it wouldnt) the water would go to the bathroom sink on the 1st floor. We paid them $260. to complete that job at the end of August. We had to rip up the entire floor and replace it at a cost of about $1400. (we did the job ourselves). The day after Christmas, we had another flood. The system of it backing into the sink did not work. The brand new floor had to be ripped out again. This time we contacted our insurance company. I called Best Choice again and this time they sent a master plumber who said that the system they created the first time would have never worked and the original pipe set up was not up to code. This is after two other Best Choice plumbers worked in that same room. I suggested that replacing our floor should go through their insurance company, but they could not understand my reasoning. If they had sent a qualified plumber, we wouldnt have had another flood. They dont believe this issue was their fault because they dont know how the pipes were connected underground. They want us to pay them another $900. to fix the pipe connection and hook up a new washer and dryer, they said they would charge us at cost. I asked them to itemize the cost because it seemed like an awful lot of money for us only paying at cost, I did not receive a response, I called again and asked for Anthony to call me back and again have not received a response. We contacted two other plumbers to get a price to do the same job and they are both master plumbers who are cheaper than $900. One plumber told us that the trap system was done completely wrong.
I appreciate the fact that they we’re quick and efficient and got the job done quickly as well. Jim G was very professional and did ask about any other services that we may need at this time, but he is an excellent employee for this facility for sure.

Weve had them out to the house three times in the past year for various issues but the one that stands out the most is when they got to us in 30 minutes on Christmas Eve day and had the problem handled in less than two hours. If you need anything plumbing or HVAC-related done to your house, give the folks at Best Choice a call - you will not regret it!
My car was parked outside where these guys were scheduled to do some outdoor plumbing work (I didnt read the sign when parking the night before). So I did not get service from this company but I just want to say that these guys were kind and considerate in making sure I got my car back to wherever it was towed to. They shared with me phone numbers of their office and towing co instead of brushing off the matter and I found the car. They def knew what they were doing as well and were all 3 working out in the cold.
My experience with this company was terrible. They were to come on a Friday evening between 4 and 8; they called me midway through that window to say they couldnt make it but could be at my house at 8:00 am the next morning. I stressed that it couldnt be later than that as I had a family event. At 8:15 Saturday morning I got a call from their office that the technician was on his way and would be here soon. Half an hour later he still hadnt arrived; when I called the office they checked with him and told me he had a flat tire but it was being repaired and he would be here in 15-20 minutes. I have no idea why the driver hadnt contacted me to tell me about this. Another half hour and hes still not here; another call to the office and was told he was in traffic and was about 10 minutes away. The technician called me himself a few minutes later - he was having trouble finding my place; he certainly could have called earlier about that. At 9:45 he finally arrived. I told him the toilet handle was loose and also that it kept running. He was able to fix the handle but apparently did nothing else as the toilet is still running. I will not use their services again.
I would give them no stars they do not stand behind their work. It is shoddy . I had a new toilet put and and about a year later had to have it reset. The new plumber had no idea of what they did. I also had plumbing done outside and had to have concrete work done which was supplied by best choice. this is about a year and a half ago and the cement is falling apart. I would not recommend them Emailed them about the concrete and never heard a word back from them
I use this company regularly for sewer-line scopes. Christian was our tech today and he was fantastic as usual. Very clear in explaining why things were the way they were, and even went above and beyond to test out storm drains by flushing the line. I will continue to recommend both he and his company.
The best choice people were an absolute delight to deal with. What started off as a leak in my rental unit turned into a massive bathroom remodel and Best Choice was able to do it ALL!! Whats more, the staff were responsive enough that I was able to mange the project from Colorado while being kept up to date via pictures, e-mails and texts. The project finished 2 days later than the time that was given. If anybody has dealt with construction they know that 2 days late is as good as on time !! Ruth, James and Roman are my heroes. I was about to purchase an investment property and had some doubts about the sewer service. I called Best Choice to have them put a camera into the waste line and Im glad I did. Their price was fair and competitive and they came at the time they said they would. They quoted me a very competitive price to replace the problem unfortunately the foreclosing bank did not want to provide a credit for the issue. If they would have, I would have used Best Choice to do the repair work based on their service and competitive quote.

I have used this company for years so I didnt hesitate when I gave them three more jobs to do. One major job was to replace the broken pipe under the tub. It required breaking the floor tile and ceiling below. In the end I now have a pipe that isnt pitched correctly so the water level is always at the top of the tub drain. I called the next working day about this and other problems of jobs they did. This is 3 yrs ago and no one has offered to correct the situation or refund my money. I stand in water when the shower is used. I now have to have a new company replace the pipe that Best Choice put in and have the whole job redone. They were to replace a sink and faucet in the kitchen. The sink was not one that could be separated from the countertop so the plumber tried to force it and dropped a heavy tool into my sink creating a black large crater. He didnt replace the dripping faucet. The third job was to put in a new utility tub for the washer - the plumber did not tighten the pipes for this job so the next day when I did laundry the entire wash load of water went straight out onto the basement floor. Upon reporting all this right after the jobs were done I thought I could rely on them to reimburse me and/or fix everything. I soon found out no one cared despite me calling every day. I am going to contact a tv station that does stories on things like this in our area - they want to expose companies that have wronged customers and have not even tried to fix the situation. BEST CHOICE is the WORSTCHOICE.
Called Best Choice Plumbing on a Saturday afternoon for a broken toilet. Plumber arrived within 3 hours. He was couteous, quick and very efficient. Price was good too - especially for a last minute emergency repair.I will call them again without a doubt.

From the very beginning, we should have known not to use this company. The very, very rude customer service lady that answered the phone at the office should have been our first sign. Sam (i believe was his name) came out to give us an estimate on a new boiler. We only install Crown boilers. They are top of the line boilers. A few days later, a few 2 technicians came out to install it (side note: very unprepared. Went to Home Depot 3 different times throughout the day for supplies). One mentioned that he doesnt really do instillation, while the other seemed like his intern (not the best first impression). After a little while, I went down to see how it was going. A brand new Force boiler was installed. (?) Not the crown that I was sold and quoted for. The technicians could not answer why. A few hours after they left, we kicked on the heat. After about 25 minutes, we went upstairs to find that the radiator that they had been draining and servicing had a leak spraying water from the 2nd floor, running down the living room wall (causing wall damage), and into the basement. (When we called the emergency line to see how we could stop the water and prevent any more damage, we were told that they did not know when they could have someone out, or someone to talk to us. Could not have been any more unhelpful) Additionally, our hot water heater was never turned back on, a few of the plates that were put on, were backwards, the basement was soaked. Needless to say, it was not a great experience. It felt like we got played, selling us one product, and installing another. When we brought all of these issues up, and the fact that they did not pressure test before they left resulting in not catching that their was a leaky pipe, we were offered a whopping $50 deduction from the price. As a young homeowner, it was such a discouraging experience to have so many things go wrong. Would not recommend using this company due to the unprofessional customer support, lack of attention to detail, and complete disregard for what was quoted to us.
Best Choice recently installed a Bradford White hot water heater.They were on time, explained what happened with the old heater (not a Bradford White), and repaired other installation issues. They’re my plumber of choice.
I bought a water tank from Best Choice Plumbing two years ago and had they installed it. Yesterday, I found water in my drainage pan and they told me that I only have one year warranty on parts. The gas valve they said I have to replace cost $450 and they have order it. So I went to another plumber to see if they have the gas valve available, this plumber told me that I have a six years warranty on parts and the tank. Therefore, I did not have to pay for anything except labor. If nobody told me this, I would pay the $450 to Best Choice when it is supposed to be free.

Do not deal with this company!!!While working on my my neighbors property, they did several hundred dollars worth of damage to mine and refuse to even call me back, let alone pay reparations for their damage. More specifically, while digging up my neighbors lawn, they dumped what they were digging up on my front walkway and lawn and then caused several hundred dollars worth of damage to my property finishing the job.In other words, they used my property without my permission and damaged it while doing so.I have tried a number of times over the past month and half to get someone at the company to fix my property and I have gotten nothing but silence; no one will call me back. I am extremely disappointed that they couldnt even have someone call back to apologize, let alone pay for the damages.I am strongly considering suing this company in small claims court for the above described actions.In the end, these people are awful. Do not give them your business. There are far better plumbers in the Philly region. If you value your property and your relationship with your neighbors take your business elsewhere.
Best Choice took on an amazing challenge installing my lateral on an historic street in Philadelphia. Their team in the field, and in the office, was efficient and prompt. The work was done in the intense heat of July, and their hard work under those conditions was impressive. All work was correctly coordinated with City departments.

My name is Lucie, I have been really upset with best choice plumbers I had some work done on my water line in August after coming out several times I still had a leak in my basement and missing pieces to a 5 pieces kitchen unit, after several complaints I finally got management. Sam who came out well after hours on 12/27 he repaired the leak and some other problems and did not leave until everything was in order I was so pleased because the dampness has caused me to have several asthma attacks, when he realized I was missing pieces to my kitchen he promised to take care of it and call me first thing this morning and he did, I now have my complete kitchen unit I couldnt be more pleased with the work and his pleasantness thank you Sam for ur time and patience I believe in giving credit where credit is due
They charge before part I didnt mean for A heater and I and I didnt get back with them because I couldnt afford the heater at the time for the charge me $400 so when I went to try to get my money back they said they wouldnt give it back to me. So was said that bygones be got by gone and let them install the heater at the take off the won the dollars They never call me back. Is only business but I feel like Got a Bad deal with them.

Horrible choice. They said they were send someone to unclog my drain the next day because they had no one available the day I called. The next day after numerous calls and call backs they said someone was on the way. Hours later they call and say Can we reschedule for tomorrow? They will string you along in an attempt to not lose your business but if you cant make an appointment they should just let you know so that you can call another company. I wish I could give them no stars because they dont deserve even one.
They truly are the best. Always quick and prompt and they help you through each and every step. We had to get a new curb trap and they were so easy to deal with. I ALWAYS recommend them to everyone that needs a plumber.
I called to get an estimate, someone came out to give us the free estimate, which was reasonable. When I called back to sign the contract and set a date for the work, it took 3 days for someone to email me a correct contract. The first person I talked to took 2 days to send me an inaccurate contract via email (both my address and the total cost for the job were incorrect). I called back to get an accurate contract. I finally received the correct contract and sent it back signed. An entire week went by without a call or email confirming the receipt of my contract. I called to find out what happened and was put on hold for 10 minutes. No one ever came back to pick up the phone. Two days later I called back again. By now its been over 3 weeks since this entire process started. I was put on hold again for another 8 minutes only for someone else to come to the phone and ask, Can I help you? No reference whatsoever for my call. I explained for the second time why I was calling. I gave the name of the person Id sent the original signed contract to via email. They went and got the person on the call and the person claims to have never received my email. I forwarded her the very email she claims to have never received. When I asked why there wasnt at least a follow-up call, she said she doesnt bother the customer, she just waits until theyre ready. I mentioned that considering the circumstances, the fact that she assured me she would take care of me after the first associate dropped the ball by taking days just to send me the wrong contract, it wouldve been nice, especially if she claims to have not received the contract, knowing Im trying to get the work done asap, to have shot a quick email or gave a quick call to check in. Having been put on hold for probably close to an hour in cumulative time, Ive heard their pre-recorded on hold messages quite a bit. One of them says theyre big enough to serve you, yet small enough to care. Im far from convinced after the past 3 weeks. The most inefficient customer service Ive experienced in a very long time.
Used this company several times. Brian was my technician yesterday. He was quick efficient, polite, knowledgeable and reliable. Did a complete house check to see why my water bills were suddenly three times higher than usual. Wish there was a negative star rating. Ripped my business off and never showed up to correct the problem, after $1500 spent. Employees sent to work on our issue were also a disaster. Another plumber found the problem in 15 minutes and $200. Highly recommend Dukes Plumbing. Every other plumber we called knew about and warned us about them. Unfortunately for us it was after the damage was done.

The best experience with a Contractor. They gave their BEST when faced with every obstacle. Started at 8am and didnt stop until 6am the next day..CRAZY. I had no water but they were determined to finish and leave my home and family with water.

Absolutely the worst choice.I have never seen people that dont care about the quality of work or the damages they make to your house than them. My house was flooded as direct cause of the work they did. Then when you call them to repair the damage they did to your house they spout nothing but lies and give you the run around. Save your time for someone who actually knows what they are doing.

I had a gas house heater installed on Monday, January 5. The pricing was fair; I paid $3,600.00. I found them to be very pleasant also. They came about 10 am and was finished approx. 7:00 pm. The install was fine, it was everything else afterwards that upset me horribly. They tracked dirt/oil all through my home and left my basement a complete mess. They should have covered the floors and wore rubbers over their boots so they could remove them when walking through the house. Thank God, I didnt have carpet; only on my enclosed porch. They left behind old piping they had removed, and it took me quite some time to clean the floors, especially in my basement. They also told me after the install, that the tubing in my walls needed to be cemented around the tubes to prevent carbon monoxide from coming in; sound very important right? Why wouldnt they do that while doing the install and if not, why wouldnt they tell me that before they did the install so I could get to the tubes myself! Now I cant cement around the entire tubes properly because the heater and pipes are in the way. I just pray that carbon monoxide does not get in through the cracks. I filled the cracks as best I could. I feel, they should put a little more care into there customers.
Happy with my service. They came out and snaked my waste drain. I had someone come out from another company the day before and they tried to snake the drain with an electric snake, Best Choice came out and got the job done and cleared the drain. Will use again.
Called in an issue yesterday, the technician was there in the morning. John Bolli did a great job. These guys are honest and fast.
I would not recommend this company. Their service was horrible. My husband and I hired them to replace our hot water tank. They came and partially installed it. They were suppose to call us back the next day to complete the job and never did. We were without hot water for a couple days in the middle of winter. After calling them 4 times and no response we had to hire someone else to complete the job. When we asked for a partial refund they refused. Hire at your own risk!
My partner and I have been wrestling with some plumbing issues in our new home so we called in Best Choice for a second opinions on the “fixes” the builder had done. They sent over Sam who 100% lived up to the name best choice! Right off the bat he pulled booties on over his shoes to walk through our home (the poor guy came in a blizzard) and was knowledgeable and charming. He worked through our basement walls for about three hours diagnosing the situation and spotting things that the builders had deliberately tried to hide. Sam ended up calling in Anthony for a second opinion on his discoveries and the two of them assembled a list of wrong doings and helped us pull the permits for the work that was done.I cannot possibly thank them enough for their thorough work and positive attitude. We are in for an absolute nightmare of work in our home and I am very happy to have Best Choice by our side going forward.

I had to deal with this company twice through my realty company. First time, leak was through my ceiling and the guy just took a hammer and started bashing the ceiling to find where it was coming from. Left ahuge mess and had the worst attitude. Then schedule follow up appointment without even asking or making sure Id be home.The second experience they just show up whenever if you do have a time window. One receptionist called to confirm a 9am start at 8:30 while another calls me at 10:30 to tell me no one will make it until after noon.Go to a company that has clearer lines of communication.
I dont know how big this operation is but I can say my mom did not get the 4.4 star plumber. Notice how non-descript the positive reviews are. They are as fake as this companys name.
I have several rentals and i call them for each when needed. Whether big or small they handle them all. I always ask for Christian. Great guy knows his stuff, pleasant.
Never used this company nor would I ever. If they work anything like they drive and maintain their vehicles then stay far away. Behind their van on 95 today , speeding in excess of 85 mph, weaving in and out of traffic with no signals. Running lights don’t work and brake lights don’t either. As a business owner I’d never employ people that operated my vehicles in this fashion. Let alone be a billboard for my business. Unreal

Well, they cleaned out a main drained that was backed up and they did a good job cleaning it, the issue was resolved....but not for long because 4-6 months later I had to pay another plumber to do the same job. The reason for this is that the drain cover was left off (misplaced, I was unable to find it) and after the fall and winter seasons the drain got clogged with leaves and other debris. That should not have happened.
I would like to thank Jim for the efficient job in replacing a toilet part, because of my choice in style of toilet this was more work than it sounds. He explained what he needed to do and why, gave me a price and quickly got the job done.

They were friendly and professional, clear and responsive. It was a pleasure, in spite of the nature of the problem at my home. The crew, service manager Anthony managed much of the details of the job, troubleshooting, completing measurements for job estimates, and overall managing details and coordinating with other city agencies to keep the job on track.Bill the heavy equipment operator used the earthmoving excavator with accuracy, skill, and professionalism opening up the area to expose pipes for diagnostics.Ryan was invaluable on the team, providing the directives for the work being done to ensure safe and accurate excavation, expertise use of the auxiliary tools, like the HIGH POWER JET CLEANING MACHINE, and manpower clearing and securing the work area, and operating camera line to get a view of problem.The crew of Ryan, Bill and Andrew were effective and were pleasant, professional, and thorough. They took time to explain what they were doing, what the problem mught be,and how it might be fixed. They coordinated with the PWD HELP Loan program liaison, and city L&I inspector. Also had to deal with major tree roots blockung access, and were careful and creative in clearing a path for the work needing to be done. The guys cooperated and collaborated with cleanup, left the site cleaned up and safe pending additional repairs. I look forward to having this crew back out to do continue the repairs am confident in their abilities, they work well together and have great customer service skills!☺👍
The plumbing work was very good. They used all U.S. made steel pipes. Its been almost a year now and we have had no problems.The work was done in a timely manner.
Best Choice is responsive, reasonably priced and most important they care about getting the job done right the first time. I have been using them for over four years and they continue to provide excellent service on every job.
If I could I would give them a zero star. I scheduled an appointment with one of the receptionist and claimed to be free estimate, and turned out to be $150. I called three times to ask the reason, and no one gave me a reason. Then I reported to the BBB, and for some reason the case closed without and resolution. Today I got an message from Dina, one of the receptionist, tried to slove the issue, too late. I will never deal with them again.

In the middle of the worst cold snap Philly has seen in years, these guys got to the house to deal with a pipe clog in less that 24 hours...EXACTLY WHEN THEY SAID THEYD COME. I call them and ask about estimate for AC and plumbing for. Ladie in the office tell me estimate is free. Alright. We scheduled apoiment for the next day. They newer show up. After this some guy call me and start explaining that he will not waste his time and estimate is not free.What a joke.
On 12/5/14 I was quoted a price of $900 by the plumber to install 2 shutoff valves, replace a faucet converter for bathtub, install faucets w/block for utility sink, and fix a small leak in gas house heater piping.The guy did not do the converter, claiming it was not part of the job. A fact that I clearly stated that I wanted him to fix. The converter was the most expensive and most time consuming.This company basically robbed me out of $400.00 -IF I WERE YOU, I WOULD NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

It was not really anything major to fix. My heat wouldnt come on therefore, thought something was wrong with the furnace. **They sent someone out right away**A technician came out, turned up temperature & placed the gas valve on (Id turned it off for safety reasons), the heat came right on.MY PROBLEM WAS WITH THE IGNORANT, UNEDUCATED, UNPROFESSIONAL TECH. I asked him what couldve been the problem that the heat wasnt working. His response was I dont know what u did before I got here, but its working, do u hear it? Its doing what its suppose to do. That was an insult to my intelligence.I explained to him, that I was asking out of concern that something might of been wrong with the furnace. His attitude, demeanor & responses was very ignorant, uneducated & unprofessional. I felt like for $150 I deserved an educated answer based on experience & knowledge.Later, I contacted the thermostat manufacture and found out that if the heat setting is lower than the room temp, the heat will not come on, which I had no idea because in the pass Ive always had radiator heating. Had the technician LISTENED to my question & concern, and explained what he did & why, I wouldve had a better understanding. I will NEVER utilize their service again.
The plumber came, identify and fixed a leak quickly.They have an ad out that says if you mention it theyll give you a discount.When I called theyre office they said its only if I pay cash. Doesnt say that on the ads. Taxes I guess?Full Disclosure: Ended up getting a discount between what the papers advertised and what the full price was.Woulda just let it go till I overheard the women on the phone calling me an idiot.
I am very pleased with how they come the same day or next day to fix your plumbing issue. They are very friendly and quick with fixing your problem. I would recommend them for snaking a drain.

2022-07-08I own a 100+ year old duplex in Northern Liberties but am an out of state landlord. One of my tenants reported a plumbing issue, and I tried a plumber who came out and unclogged the drain, but didnt fix the problem causing the backup. So after asking two associates in the real estate business in Philadelphia who to call, both told me to call Best Choice. Im glad that I did!The plumber I was lucky to have assigned to this job was Sam. He spent several hours trying to figure out and how to fix the issue, as it was complicated. His communication was excellent, and was on the phone with me several times during the day with updates and inquiries about the construction and history of the plumbing system so as to try to figure this out in the most minimally invasive way. Instead of starting with more expensive options, he worked through possible solutions to try to find a way to solve the problem cost effectively. Sam even called me later that evening to check on everything and to share his thoughts, as he was sincerely concerned.Its awesome to have found a plumber and a company that takes customer service seriously, as it seems to be a dying art. Sam was truly committed to figuring out what was going on and how to fix it, and I feel that I received outstanding service from a very knowledgeable plumber at a very fair price.Anytime I have a problem going forward, I will be on the phone with Best Choice!

2022-02-09I have been using this company since I bought my first house almost 9 years ago. They have replaced garage disposals, water heater, fixed leaky pipes and the latest was replace a sewage ejector pump and install a hose bib. The technician I really trust is Chris. He takes the time to explain things and answers my many questions. It makes me feel at ease.

2021-12-29I can’t begin to start explaining how bad of an experience I had with this company. They were highly rated and my realtor recommended, but this was the worst service I’ve ever had. They sent someone out five times to look at why my water wasn’t getting hot in a tenant occupied apartment. Each time they badmouthed the last technician and rediagnosed the issue with something different. They kept leaving without validating the water got hot. Ultimately they ended up having me pay for a brand new water heater and had two technicians completely refurbish it with all new parts TWICE! They wouldn’t refund me anything for my now refurbished water heater and the facts that my tenants had to vacate for the extended time it took them to fix the issue. I was extremely patient, but the customer service was terrible and they kept saying they would call me back and wouldn’t. At the end they told me that it was just the electric connected to the water heater and I never needed a new one. I could go on and on and show you the condition they left my place in and the leaks caused in the wall. This was extremely stressful and a disaster of an experience! Stay away!!!!

2022-04-15My A/C unit was installed in 2013 by Best Choice. Last year it needed to be recharged, I am assuming a leak somewhere so I scheduled an appointment on 3/25/22, one of those deals where you wait from 12-4 for the tech to arrive. At 4:15 PM I called the office and they said the tech was running late. He came out, checked out the unit and gave me an estimate for leak test. I still have one year of warranty left on the A/C. $500 for the leak test. The tech was good, very professional. Today (4/15/22) was scheduled for the leak test, between 12-4 tech was supposed to arrive. I called the office at 4:15 and the woman said he may not be able to make it. No call to let me know? I was frustrated, after taking a vacation day as did my wife so she could secure our big dog out in the garage while the tech worked. The woman said she would call me back and confirmed he could not make it because a leak test would take too long and they ran out of nitrogen to do the test. I asked if he could at least stop by and see why the unit will not run at all now, turned it on yesterday and no luck. She told me it would be $150 service call. I kindly asked if I could charge them $150 for me taking a vacation day and not having the tech show up as scheduled. The hypocrisy in this is just amazing. They are now scheduled for 4/22/22, and once again I must burn a vacation day and I hope my wife can take off to keep an eye on our dog, she does not like strangers in the house. This is not a knock against the tech, just the business in general, I still cant believe she wanted to charge me $150 when they did not even show up, I am not at fault here at all, just very frustrating.

2022-03-22Sam from Best Choice Plumbing just left and I wanted to give 5 STAR thumbs up review. As is frequently, the case, there was more to the job than what was anticipated. He figured out the problem, established a plan and worked it through. I know that it took much longer than anticipated but the long and the short of it is that was a much more extensive job than we all thought it would be. I couldnt be happier with the result.This is not my first time using Best Choice and should the need arise, I would not hesitate to use them again.
