BJs Wholesale Club in other cities:
A club that you need to shop using coupons lol. What does club shopping mean now and days.. most prices are higher than Walmart.. ps dont leave your membership on auto renewal instead of giving you an awesome deal to stay they kick you up to the higher price.. better off cancelling and getting a new or free membership..
The manager sucks. I took a 30lb empty propane tank for refill, he and his employee doesn’t know how to operate the filling machine and told me they can only refill the standard 20lb one, which is not true at all, the Bj propane filling receipt has both 20 and 30lb option. The manager definitely need to learn more about propane filling and pass the related knowledge to his emplyee, otherwise there could be some hidden hazards.
I HAD THE BADDEST EXPERIENCE EVER. I DONT KNOW HER NAME BUT SHE IS BLACK, SHE WORKS NIGHT I EXPERIENCED THIS TONIGHT AROUND 8:30. I GOT MY STUFF AND I WAS AT THE SELF CHECK OUT AND I WAS HAVING DIFFICULTY SCANNING AND I SAW HER AND I SAID HEY SO I CAN GET SOME HELP BUT SHE WAS LIKE MY NAME IS NOT HEY DONT CALL ME THAT AND HAD THE BIGGEST ATTITUDE. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WAS HER PROBLEM HONESTLY THIS IS MY 2nd TIME AT THIS BJS. SOMEONE PLEASEE REPORT THIS AND TAKE ACTION. WE ALL NEED A PEACEFUL ENVIRONMENT PLEASE
Worst Gas Station except price!!Pump works extremely slow, all of them needs service ASAP.How hard it could be to just change filters of pumps ; that way many long lines can be avoided.store is extremely good ,clean, customer friendly and daily used items are at reasonable price then other wholesale clubs.
Their prices are great, and I always find items I need or want. Gas prices are the lowest I could find. The one thing i dont like about BJs is they removed all the self-checkout scanning guns, so now you have to remove each item from your cart, scan it, put it on the scale, only to put it all back in your cart, which is so time consuming.
On a busy Saturday night they only have 1 register open…but yet there are tons of employees standing around joking and talking to each other. When my husband brought this up to the manger on. Her response was to offer him a job application. Absolutely rude and I won’t be back. Next time I’ll take my business to Costco.
I am just fed up about groceries department. I took membership for my monthly big shopping. But unfortunately when I had gone there store I didn’t find onion big bags , garlic … they have but too small small packet which I able to find out in my neighborhood small groceries. It’s really irritating. Why they don’t organize this part I don’t know but they should organize all sections cause people are pays for this membership. I am full time worker I don’t have time to go for buying different products at different store that’s why I took membership.
Great store to shop for bigger deals really good prices on electronics with own bakery and even with Dunkin’ Donuts shop in store staff is friendly and informativeThey don’t have shopping bags but can provide you with boxes to carry purchased goodsOnly thing is you need to get their membershipTo shop here
Im fed up with the meat department. Bought bad fish there and my wife almost ate it she didnt know anything about food safety. They did accept the return tho. SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS. Got ground beef there and It is dyed. Watch out for stores doing this. Also if you plan to waste your whole Sunday here you can, the lines are outrageous. Go on a Monday morning if your schedule allows it. I may be switching to Costco.
Went through self checkout on a Tuesday evening, have very heavy items in cart, and I am right by your workers that are standing laughing on their phones. After struggling to scan one of the items, I ask your employees to help me scan. There are FOUR of them just standing laughing, one responds “I ain’t seen no scanner I don’t know where they at”. So I ask a guy to help me somehow scan this item, he scans it and dumps it on the side that has a scale, despite the warning being read that you shouldn’t do it. And walks away. Now I have to pick it up somehow and drag it back to my cart. And then I walk out to another useless employee sitting in a chair by the exit door that I have to go up to so he can pointlessly without even looking at it with my receipt. What a waste of salaries.
Take an adventure into the BJs located on Red Lion road. First you get your gas, but the line is exceptionally long and half of the cars are going in the wrong direction. There are signs that specifically state that it is one-way only, but the gas attendants dont enforce the rules. Once the patrons who were facing the wrong way are finished they try to drive in oncoming traffic and slow things up even more. After getting your gas you push the button for a receipt, but the dispenser is empty and youre forced to go to the counter to get one. You then park your car in the lot and grab a shipping cart that has used sanitizing wipes and other trash where youre supposed to put your groceries. The first items you should pick up are in the deli, only because youll be stuck waiting in a line for at least a half hour since there are usually only two workers behind the counter fulfilling orders. Once your number is called you ask for a pound of cheese that is sliced thin. The deli associate retrieves the pack of cheese and begins to start slicing it, but she appears to have trouble doing so. Rather than informing the customer about the quality of the product youre paying for she doesnt bother to show you. Instead she bags it and slaps the price tag on it and you go about your day without getting as much as a thank you. After picking up the rest of your list prepare yourself to stand in another long line to check out at the register, where theres only two lines that have cashiers ringing people up while the other registers are all check out. You wait and wait among people that are packed like sardines in a can to ring yourself up and get out as soon as possible. Once youre finally checked out you have to wait in a long line (again) to have your receipt checked. When youre just out of the door you encounter a crowd of people either waiting for someone to bring their car around or are loading their groceries into one that is illegally parked by the door. Once passed that you finally load your groceries into your car and can finally start to get home after being at the store for over an hour. Will my next shopping experience be a better one next time around? Who knows? Shop are this particular BJs location to find out!Stuff like this happens every week at this BJs location. On my last visit the deli associate massacred a pound of cheese I bought and I didnt notice until after I got home when I opened it. All of the slices were stuck together and they would rip into a dozen smaller pieces when trying to separate them. This particular location is poorly managed and there are not enough associates scheduled for shifts, especially on the weekends when the customer volume is high. Do yourself a favor and get a membership to Costco. Youre in and out in no time because those stores are properly managed by competent people.
I had the worst shopping experience of my life in the Red Lion store today. It was absolutely packed, there was no effort at social distancing whatsoever (which is actually a function of the customers but the customer base is ALWAYS like this). I saw one guy toting his kid around with no mask while he hacked and sneezed all over the place. Fortunately he was sitting in the cart right at face level of everyone he passed. It took me nearly an hour to get maybe 15 or 20 items all from the deli and frozen section. When I got to the check out line there were four lanes open and each one had at least 20-25 customers waiting, packed in like sardines as though theres no contagion problem. The cashier managed to check out one person in 20 minutes while repeatedly calling for help from a manager and then finally I had to just leave because my cart full of frozen food was thawing out and there was an enormous line at every register. Understaffed, overcrowded, unsafe, and unconcerned. Seriously hoping I didnt just catch covid in this petri dish. Doubt Ill be renewing my membership.
I had 1 item messing in my final check out. So I return to pay for my purchase. Not only was the customer service line long, but people where cutting in. And you know what was the worst part? Staff let them! They said nothing made it clear to me that I need to wait for them to assist the person that cut in. No, they where not people that were assisted before. I stayed in line 25 minutes. So I just too my item to a 16 items or less register that was empty at the time and paid for my purchase. BJs is a great store with lots of goods and product. They just need to be more selective with their staff.
I just wanted to personally thank a BJs team member named Brittany. I was having the worst day running late and couldn’t find what my wife wanted. This team member noticed I walked by a few times seeming lost and frustrated she went out of her way to help me locate my items and was very polite and helpful. That experience made sure I return that specific location. Thank you Brittany my wife thanks you as well
Waited in Curbside pickup for over an hour. Managed stated they where looking for someone to bring me my stuff, two items. What is the point of having Curbside Pickup if you do not have anyone to staff. What should of happened was the manager who I spoke to should of ran out to deliver my order. I guess the respect for customers are no longer there. Never again BJs,,, canceling my membership
I literally just walked out of the door. First time using my membership. I will never come here again! The staff is rude! I just purchased close to $1,000 in groceries. After you pay at the register your receipt has to be checked (I’m totally ok with that). Except when I get the door it’s practically a warrant search. The customer service representative emptied my entire cart. It was very uncomfortable experience. I have never experienced this at any other BJ’s or Sam’s st that matter. Your definitely not supposed to make the customer feel like a criminal!
Well, the store was very well organized, in stock, and the prices were reasonable. The only issue that I had was the self check out, it was great, except for as you pack your food, the next customers food starts to come down the belt. There needs to be a way to separate your food from the next customer.
All you do here is WAIT. Wait at the deli, 1 employee, people waiting. Wait at checkout, 7 checkout isles closed (understaffed), people waiting back into the store area. Wait at the exit door. 55 minutes for the purchase of 3 items (1lb of ham, orange juice & milk). Ive been doing their surveys for YEARS stating this repeatedly. Obviously MANAGEMENT, including regional, is the problem. What is their accountability? Good pay, position never in jeopardy, OK???
I purchased the $10 BJ Online Access membership. Went to purchase sugar and pick up in the store. The item was clearly available for this option. But when I went to pay for the items in my cart, the only option was to have it shipped at a ridiculous price. When I called customer service, I was told that my refund will be processed. I didnt get a confirmation email and went to CHAT with the online people who told me that my $10 membership is not refundable.I have since cancelled my membership to make sure that it doesnt automatically renew. What a rip-off. I will tell everybody about this and will click on the AD link online to make sure that I get my $10 worth; one way or another. Clicks cost.
I love BJs. But this store is horrible!!! Poorly staffed, out of stock, long lines, all around the most stressful and disappointing shopping experience compared to all other stores. Please get a new management team or rename to save ypur reputation , BJs!orsomething. Yikes, Bus take your sign down and rename tm
Horrible customer service experience from a cart pick up boy from the parking lot, after shopping I left my cart in the lot at the right place I suppose to park . A boy came from no were and said this is not the way how I want you to park this cart , park like everyone else other wise I am gonna call the manager I responded ok call the manager , a gentleman came over and apologized to me. This BIG BOY need to learn how to respect people and how to talk to people while on employee HAT. 🙄
Customer service is BJS Please please do not ever order by online.....They didnt show the item was unavailable util after we purchase and they took payment. After a while send an email saying payment will be refunded after a week. Once u place the order u would have to wait hours to get the item, even after they send u message its ready to picked up.
There was no water. No Berkeley and Jensen, no deer park. What is going on? Out of waters for 3 days?!? Not only were they out of water, they were selectively out of other products which there were coupons for. So my coupons expire and I’m thirsty lol. They should’ve put a no water sign on the door and I wouldn’t have wasted the time. This store is making the membership unworthy of the price let alone the trip.
There is always a need for improvement. My husband and I look forward to experiencing professionalism from everyone employed at the retail giant; unfortunately, thats not always the case. Everyone that works there needs training, especially when servicing multicultural populations. Everyone is entitled to his / her philosophy, however, there is no place for personal / opinionated / assumptions / bias views. There is a huge difference between customers vs employees. No business can survive with out customers. Management needs to change the way they view customers, regardless of age, gender, nationality, race, disability, height, weight, income and education. Your business will be successful when management understands the value of money will never decrease based on a persons color, age, income, education, gender or disability.
DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT CARDS AT THIS STORE!!! I used my card twice at this store and found unauthorized transactions right after!! The first time was used at a restaurant and the second time at Apple Store! The store manager should look into this matter and take actions to prevent it happen over and over!!!
Typical discout club, but this location is always understaffed - especially at Customer Service and the Registers. This results in some ridiculously long lines at check out and to get assistance. Most of the staff is friendly, but there are a few fairly miserable ones too. They recently renovated the store, adding a full-service deli, greatly expanded produce, refrigerated, and freezer sections. This location also has gas pumps and propane now.
You have to buy HUGE volumes of food just to get W****** prices. Some of BJs electronics like TVs and security cameras are cheap but you can still buy them for less online at discount sites. BJs clothes and shoes are priced competitively. The membership fee is at least $50, so you will have to spend at least $500 here to offset that fee. But if you have a big family, like buying in bulk, and enjoy the convenience, this may be the store for you. But I still believe that W****** and T***** will give you a better deal in the long run -- and (unlike BJs) they have self checkouts that are easy to use.
Great Place to shop and had a nice experince when I arrived after last snow blizzard we got. One of the snow removal workers clearing lot saw I was with my kid and he was nice enough to grab me a shopping cart from another cart holder since the other were out. The lot was surprisingly safe after all the snow we got. Thanks BJs for the savings and great service
Had a really bad experience from the invoice checking person at the gate today .. I just had 4 items in my cart. He asked me to move back from the cart so that he can see the items clearly. . Just 4 items .. when he gave the invoice back to me and I was about to push the cart forward, he shouted at me and told I snatched the invoice from him..I asked him what did I do.. he said it again and told he didnt like it. shouting in his full voice so that everyone standing in the queue can hear. Either he didnt like me or he didnt like people shopping at the store which makes him do more work.. never met him before and never had a bad experience from anyone else. I have been going to this store for more than 3 years..
Im being a member for 5 years and my family never had a complaint about anything from costumer service to prices. Prices are like everywhere some product are on sale some others not is up to the consumer to do their savy desicions on what to buy. They offer you coupons at the entrance, they mailed you a coupon book and also you can bring your own manufactuters coupons. The lines could be a little overwhelming sometimes depends on what time of the day you go shooping, but believe me definetly better than walmart lines where cashier looks like they hate their job and you for buying in there. I read some reviews where they mention Target being cheaper and that is absolutely false just go online and compare yourself. The fact that those who wrote bad reviews are trying to make other consumers feel like clowns because they have a bad experience themself make me think that they got fired from BJS or they are one of those weird people who go to walmart. Anyway if is your first time going there you can ask for a one day pass without buying a membership all they do is ask you for your id.
I received the club membership identification card in April 2012. When I signed up, the senior female representative took my picture but told me not to worry about posing because the equipment didnt work, has had problems for years (despite numerous requests to fix it), therefore the photo would be extremely small and blurred. Boy, was she right! I can barely make out the image because it is so miniscule size and extremely blurred. I cant believe how they check IDs at the front door and positively identify photo on the card with the description of the individual providing the identification. This is ripe for fraud, allowing others to use their membership cards. They should not employ anyone to check identification if they cant do it right? The store manager should fix this ASAP and should have not have allowed this problem to linger for years. Also, I had to wait at least 30 minutes in line during a weekday evening. Why dont the storage manager employ more people at checkout? I noticed some BJ employees idling about not really engaged in their work when they could have easily opened up another line for patrons. Last, why does BJs have self checkout lines? Patrons could easily not scan each merchandise item and then exit out the doors because the 2 store employees cannot check each item in the cart vs the receipt. Again, this goes again with the purpose of positioning employees at the front to check but not really check (items, ID) well. If you cant do it right, then why do it at all, especially if the labor could be better employed at the checkout lines. This is a bad waste of labor resources...
Product selection is OK, not great though. The employees are miserable. Specifically the self checkout attendant. After asking her to void out a transaction she became aggravated and rude. You would have thought she had been asked to give up her first born. The lady at the eye glass center seemed pleasant though.
Never Enough cashiers they didnt even have almond milk not even one brand or generic of almond milk always long lines in the Dell Department the store needs better management they have one manager Sandra B she is the nastiest unkind knows nothing about customer service what she doesnt know is that she likes the profile black and black women shopping in that store and especially if you have your kids now shes excellent at that and I have reported her several times to BJs corporate office and as of yet this store has not made any changes. and I dont know why BJ have a manager like her representing their company.
This review goes to a girl in the bakery department named yasenia..I may have mispelled her name ....I came in today may 27th to pickup a cake I ordered for my daughters 12 the bday. She showed me the cake and the picture of three cats that was supposed to be on top of cake wasnt there(only writing)...I was so disappointed... Yasenia quickly stated that she can put the image on top of cake for me and fix it in 15 min time....we waited not even 10 min and she gave us what we initially came in for . We were so pleased and I thanked her many times for saving my cake...very happy ..thank you yasenia
I stop to buy a freezer on my only day off, the freezer was on special, the pallet at the floor was empty but tuey have other two pallets with 2 freezer on each one over the shelf. I ask on customer service if someone can help me to get this product that was high. The lady on counter said that they can not do nothing for me. I explain that I came to buy this product in specific. The lady told me that buyit another day because today they can not sell it. I insist to buy it today because I can not buy it tomorrow. The cust. Serv lady said to me that if I need it today go to Best Buy, they can help me better. WOOOOOOW, BJs needs to train their perssonel to learn to do customer service and customer satisfaction, not to push sales to other places. Thanks to let me know that Best buy its better than BJs
Customer Service: 0/10. Ordering tires on their website leads to appointments that cannot be met as tires are not onsite. Managers were rude, repeatedly interrupt, did not want to work on a resolution, and placed fault on the customer for not waiting for a call... even though the site provided an appointment date.
We used to belong to BJs and dont belong now. Why dont with my parents who are members today and had no desire to rejoin. Free sample stations were Barren all morning. Aisles were disorganized. Prices were higher than what I can get on Amazon Prime. Again no reason to join this Warehouse Club. Fresh produce Dairy and meats are cheaper at Aldi
In comparison to Sam’s Club and Costco club stores, BJ’s wholesale club has the best-priced delicious deli meats hands-down. I also love BJ’s in-store coupons which add to the value of the shopping experience. Also, BJ’s wide variety and selection of brand-name televisions are the best value, especially related to their coupon clip-less in-store deals – as advertised in BJ’S monthly coupon booklets.Another great perk that BJ customers, and new consumers will come to enjoy – are the benefits of using manufacture coupons when shopping at their local BJ’s outlet. This particular BJ’s wholesale club is always well-stocked, and shopping aisles are very clean and organized.Pros: Customer service is exceptional in dealing with its BJ’s consumers – seeking to enjoy the best of which it has to offer in money-savings, and in-store promotions.Cons: The lack of available cashiers to service its customers in peak hours needs to be reconsidered to offer BJ’s customers the ultimate shopping experience.
Poor receiving had 3 stop all bjs every single one took me early was out in 10 minutes for each of my first 2 stop get here to red lion I was told I had to wait 1hr an 30min to get unloaded appointment time on top of all that I wasnt allow to park in the lot! 👎(only Truck Here)🤔😑 so here I am patiently waiting smh what a waste of time!
Great prices but horrible service, took me half hour at self check out and I had only one person in front of me. The mashines are horrible, call for assistance for every dumb thing. The ladys that r supposed to be helping are either away or chating with each other, horrible service

2022-03-31The store associate did not let me to checkout by myself saying that I have more than 15 items in my cart despite the fact that I was about to use the regular scanner, not the “15 or less items” one. That is first time for the last 5 years. She said that the scanner will brake if I will scan over 15 items. Should I care about your scanners as a customer? Instead of checking out by myself I was waiting in a line and writing this review. Thank you.

2022-06-16I was checking out in self checkout on 6/15/22 and I was looking for the scanner to scan my water and the charger was there for scanner so I picked it up and self checkout cashier said to me “can you please put it back and can you read this is not a scanner”. So I asked what it was doing there if you can’t scan heavy items. I must of been the wrong skin color for him to speak this way to me. I will not ever go into this BJ’s again. I will take the extra drive to a nicer store with nicer employees who don’t feel the need to talk down to you.

2022-04-05My first time there today and I left without purchasing anything at all. Sure now I have a card I payed way to much money on but at least they will never get another cent off me. The place is dank and dingy. The staff all appeared to be in a bad mood. The selection was slim and the wait to purchase insane.

2022-06-07Ive been a member of BJs since 2019. I was told by my cashier on 07/03/21 I needed to renew my membership which I did for the year. Today, 06/07/22 my husband goes in to pick up a few things and was told the membership was expired. I called the home office and spoke with Juan Fernando Ramirez Correa (BJs Member Care Rep). Very polite apologized for the reps error at the store, but you expired May I think July is wayyyyyy after May, so how was I able to shop & purchase things and go online later and renew the membership? He said that how it is sorry Ill give you $10 & you can renew to be a member.🤯 Mind is blown just throw the baby out with the water. I WILL NOT BE RENEWING AGAIN FOR ANOTHER YEAR THAT WONT BE HONORED. I hope more people leave for mistreatment, lack of loyalty, and employees error that we the members are penalized for.

2022-06-30I stopped going to this BJs. The suburban BJs are so much better. They collapsed with supply chain problems over past couple year so I stopped paying for membership and going as much. Easy to borrow a friends card and use that to shop.

2022-01-14This is a not bad place to shop at,BUUUUT,After you stand in-line to check out, you have to stand in an even longer line to show the ignorant old guy with glasses your receipt so that he checks it.He is so ignorant to realize that he is causing the customers more frustrations and prolonging the stay inside the over crowded store warehouse. When you get to reach where he stands to check your receipt, he intentionally takes his time, even if you have only 5 items in your cart.He never ask for back up to help him to check the receipt out to let people leave the store a little quicker. This is not only looking bad on him, its his managers that see this happening every day for a long period of time and they dont correct it.Look at the manager and this guy at the exit door. They look almost exactly the same.Nepotism??? Most likely. They almost never changed these old people that works there. They could highly be related, and this is why they didnt care to correct the issues at this business. Now, with OMECRON virus is spiking high, do you think they would care to think of any solutions to protect their members??I double it, I have been noticing this for a while now.
