LOVE THESE APARTMENTS! Landlord is so kind and the apartments are all inclusive!!! They have 86 inch TVs and a fireplace! Cannot wait to live in these apartments!
Do not live here, first off the elevator has been broken since we moved in and can’t be “fixed”. The maitance man is the actual worst. Hes nice when you talk to him but he never comes to fix the problems you need and never answers you. We had multiple problems in our apartment that took him a whole month to do when it could have been done and i literally have to text him mutiplw times or text the landlord for him to respond. If you have problems in your apartment good luck trying to ge him to fix the stuff. He leaves and says he will come back but never does. The place was messy when we moved in with dust little bugs and dirty/ moldy bathrooms and broken toulet. The only thing good about this place is the keyless entry and the location of the building.
Searching for a one bedroom apartment and this was the only one I found that was good quality and renovated. Landlord was super responsive and helpful in finding what I want.
Do NOT live at 20W Main. If I could give this less than 1 star, I would.Ill start with the faults of the building. First, the elevator is broken and they have made no attempt to fix it. There has been a pile of vomit near the elevator on the third floor that has been there for months. No one comes around to clean the hallways. I have experienced loss of electricity on one of my walls. Thats right, the whole apartment doesnt lose power, just the one wall where the refrigerator/microwave is. Using the switches on the breaker does nothing. The windows are so old that 2 (of 3) dont even open. In addition, the top of the aforementioned windows is broken, so enjoy insects coming in through your closed windows.I was unable to connect my laptop to the buildings wifi, so I couldnt work on assignments from home. I had to use the public library.They take your air conditioning unit in the winter and dont put it back unless you ask for it (twice.)In my apartment specifically, the carpet is absolutely disgusting. Stained from god knows what. The faucets are so outdated and broken that they are barely usable. One faucet drips water constantly, and the other sprays forcefully in all different directions, making it virtually unusable.Do you like cold water? How about hot? Well, at 20W Main, youll get neither. The water that comes out of the kitchen sink will never be as cold or as hot as youd like; it basically stays the same temperature no matter what knobs are turned. After 2 weeks of using the toilet, the seat cracked in half. The kitchen is laughable, the sink is so small that you cant put a full plate in it, and there is one 1ft countertop to prepare food on. There is no oven.In the first few months after signing your lease, be prepared to have the landlord knock on your door at any time of day to show your apartment to a potential tenant. In addition, you arent allowed to have candles, even if they ARENT LIT. Also, there isnt much room to store any of your things, so be prepared to bring your own storage containers.The only things about this apartment I enjoyed were: keyless entry, a bathtub, and a (moderately) spacious studio. The maintenance man is very nice, as well as the (assistant?) landlord.Oh, and did I mention Im paying $3,600 per semester for this? Save your money, time, and hassle. Live at Lionsgate.
Just signed with them. I love the location and the size of apartment. It is a great size especially coming from State College. I cannot wait to live here.

2022-03-08Great experience, all inclusive. Showed us plenty of options til we felt most comfortable. Would recommend to a friend!Edit: would give 0 stars, was talked into giving a 5 star review at time of signing lease. Had a terrible experience in my apartment with 0 help from landlord. All things that they said would be fixed after move in were never fixed.

2019-12-05Just leased an apartment for my son for fall 2020. The owners answered all my questions & concerns as well as showed us different options for housing and parking. Loved the security features such as cameras and sprinklers throughout. They seemed well maintained and was very clean smelling.

2019-12-05Just put down a deposit for housing for fall 2020. Met with Matt and his wife, they were all very knowledgeable and showed us great options. And the all inclusive buildings were great. Some of the best housing for singles, although they have housing for more people.

2020-08-18The apartment that was given to my daughter and her friends, was not the apartment that the manager showed them when her group signed the contract. The apartment that they were switched to was old, filthy, dimly lit, not painted and had a creepy freight elevator in the kitchen. I was not happy at all. I feel they took advantage of the students.

2020-05-11Im a parent of a Bloomsburg U student who lived in a single apartment at 20 West Main for his senior year and he and I are writing this review together. My son enjoyed the convenient location and the privacy and quaintness of the building (the walls are think and the building is a renovated stately hotel). I appreciated as a paying parent that the bill was pretty much all-inclusive, including utilities and was a good value for the money for downtown Bloomsburg. There were cameras everywhere to help secure the safety of the tenants. The manager, Matt, made repairs and handled issues quickly and well. It was a very nice experience for my son to live there - he enjoyed it far more than his previous apartment. I highly recommend 20 West Main and Bloom Student Housing.
