Every time we go here we are not impressed. today our service was horrible: I asked the waitress what was in the Spanish omelette, and she did not know what was in it so instead of asking she told me the wrong ingredients and when my food was brought out i found out there were mushrooms in the omelette which I cannot eat. never did she come back and ask how the food was or to ask why i wasnt eating my omelette. my boyfriend ordered sausage only to find out that his pork sausage was raw inside!! luckily he looked at the inside before eating it. NEVER going back to this place. horrible food, horrible service. such a shame.
I suggest going here for breakfast or lunch. If you avoid a rush, youll definitely have much better food. Their specials are diner standards, nothing super fancy to please any young people, and they run the standard senior discounts.If you want a suggestion, I would say go with the various omelettes named for the local locations. They always seem to get those right. I get the Plainfield Farmer all the time.Also, they have a claw machine and a coin pusher if you want to throw away some change.
Gotta say it has gone down in quality. And when the cook (owner) is nowhere to be found for 40 minutes after you orders it gets frustrating. Only bonus is that the waitresses are fantastic!
The food here is consistently terrible and has been for years. Was taken there for Fathers day got steak and eggs. The steak was not just raw it was frozen in the center.
Very good food, great variety, and excellent service! They frequently offer specials and give free coffee on Tuesdays & Thursdays (with a minimum breakfast order) as well as a senior citizen discount during certain hours on Wednesdays.
Food is good atmosphere very dim. Have been going there for a few years. It was always packed for dinner now every time we are there its. completely empty. We are going less and less
This time the service and food were both good but in the past not so good. We ordered fried clams last time and they literally put 7 fried clams on a plate and tried to call it a serving.
The food here is no longer edible ...not even bteakfast. How do you ruin eggs n homefries? Answer greasy canned potatoes, under cooked thick sliced bacon and over cooked eggs thats how.
This place has changed over the last 10 years though chefs have changed so the quality of how the food is made and taste has changed the atmosphere is nice its friendly if I had to rate the food I would give it a 6 or 7 but thats my opinion and certain things like I would literally have to break it down some breakfast lunch dinner if you really wanted my input on that but for the most part its its a 7

Wife got a chicken wrap. Smelled like poop. Literally. And she felt sick after a bite of it. Her hands even Smelled just from picking it up.

2014-07-22Well my Girlfriend enjoyed the place and the food, how ever had send my platter back which been awhile since done that. Service was on the slow side and not many tables were being served maybe two. The waitress was new, and not knowledgeable of the menu. Person at the front pretty much said seat our self and walked away back to her lap top. Atmosphere is decent, the TV was on the loud side. How ever always believe in giving 2nd chances. Not the waitress fault at all she was not trained correct by management. Prices were not too bad. curious to see when the place is busy>

2018-07-15Place was definitely understaffed for a Sunday. Waitresses were rushing like maniacs and food was mediocre at best. They forgot to send out the eggs on one of our orders and our waitress kept messing up who got what food and eventually told us to just take it. We had to ask for coffee refills as well as silverware. She did apologize later but I wont be eating there again.

2017-12-11Waitress went into the kitchen with every other person working. We here them yelling and laughing. No one is paying attention to the two customers they have. No wonder this place is empty all the time. Continue to ignore the few customers you have and this place will be empty quickly. This used to be a great place to eat. No longer will we come back.

2018-07-15Well I went with my family and the service was horrible the waitress was nasty due to being busy. Was very rushy rushy when taking orders or bringing us the food. The food was disgusting it was so unappealing no flavor. The pancakes we got were under cooked more like a rubber if anything eggs were the same. I got sausage crazy with hash browns. The gravy was more like just dense milk with little to no flavoring when it came to the sausage gravy. The hash browns were unflavored no seasoning or anything. Does not check up when you are eating ask if you need anythin. Coffee cups were always empty got a refill from a different waitress. They forgot to bring out my sunny side eggs.

2017-08-18Absolutely disgusting. My least favorite restaurant as of right now and if it werent for my girlfriend working there you would never see me there. The cook, Mohammed makes sexual remarks and sexually harasses the waitresses which makes it an absolutely disgusting environment considering most of them are underage

2019-01-11It is a nice small town diner. With the exception of only one particular waitress who just wouldnt work fast, EVERYBODY else have been excellent at their jobs, and very polite. The food is good too !!

2018-09-25Good friendly service, n our lunch was good too. My grandsons n I had grilled cheese on wheat n vegetable soup, n ff.*3 stars for usMy daughter n son n law came in n ordered french onion soup n Caesar salad n said it was terrible, soup was spoiled n it wasnt a Caesar salad , they told them n didnt have tp pay, n didnt order anything else.*0 stars for them

2016-05-27Other than not enjoying the coffee very much, its okay, just not great, I really like their breakfast food. Our servers have always been great and there are plenty of choices on the menu. Fast service too

2017-11-03I would go here about once to twice a week to pick up breakfast. This is the WORST place with the WORST service.First, my waitress was behind my car puffing a cigarette and chatting on the phone outside. when she was finally done and brought my food to me you could smell the cigarette on her dirty hands. my food was cold and BURNT. i couldnt even eat a single potato. in fact, my food wasnt the only thing burnt--- MY CARRY OUT CONTAINER HAD A HUGE HOLE MELTED INTO THE BOTTOM OF IT which they used the omlette to cover.absolutely disgusted. when i called to ask if i can return my food the waitress hung up on me.

2018-04-29This was once a wonderful.restaurant but today will be my last visit. The food was not fresh. And the employee s were more interested in their phones than us.
