We just love Dr. Kwon and his staff.
These guys are the best! I love my cats and did my due diligence to find a reputable veterinarian the same way one would fine the best doctor for their children. They really take great care of both pet and owner. Even through Covid! Dr. Tallant is a wealth of information. I guess awesome says it all.

Take great care of my dog even though shes difficult. A year after both knees had ACL surgery, you wouldnt even be able to tell she had a problem. Highly recommend.
Dr. Kwon is Delaware Countys very own Rocky Mountain Vet! He deeply cares about the animals and their humans and goes above and beyond to ensure their care! When our dog was injured he not only handled it with amazing veterinary care, but charged us thousands less than VCA Marple Animal Hospital had quoted us. I cant thank him and his staff enough for the incredible care they routinely provide!
We have had great experiences with Dr. Kwon. He is very caring and responsive, yet pragmatic and realistic. When our cat was in liver failure, he was one of the few vets willing to talk through options with me by phone before choosing a course of action that allowed us to balance quality of life with cost. Weve also been thrilled with their regular care of our other (younger, healthier) cat.
Dr Kwon is so caring and takes the time to really examine your pet before suggesting tests. He spends the right amount of time with your pet no matter how long that is. We went in for an emergency visit with a very sick dog as he was recommended by a friend and we promptly switched all 3 of our pets over to his practice after that visit. Really love this practice!
Anytime I call with a question or need a refill of the prescription food, the ladies that answer the phone are always super helpful. Drs Kwon and Talent are AWESOME with the fur babies, my moody cat even tolerates being held and kissed and the dog just loves all the love she gets there. I highly recommend this group to everyone.
The vet (doctor) really knows his business. Make you feel and your pet comfortable.The staffer are wonderful and helpful and very pleasant.
I hate to give Dr. Kwon 5 stars! I dont want his practice to get too large. He is the best vet that my husband and I have known. Knowledgeable, compassionate and thorough. Doesnt run unnecessary tests. Instead, he relies on his experience and the physical exam. He gets down on the floor with the dogs to examine and observe them. Of course, does test if needed and after careful consultation with the pet owner. Weve been to many of the vets in Delaware and Chester counties and hes our guy!
The facility is clean. Staff are kind and compassionate and I trust them. Dr Kwon took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure I understood. I am confident my pet is receiving the best care here.
This is the third facility I have followed Dr Tallant to. I recently took my 3 cats for their annual exams. She recommended the same daily dental product as last year. Except last year, I paid for the product and never got it. The staff member who brought the cats back to my car told me We cant prove you never got it, so we are not giving it to you. I immediately called and asked to speak with the owner; they took my contact info (I was literally JUST there) and said he would call me, but he never did. I paid $350 that day and was supposed to schedule a $650 dental. So they lost $650 and my future business over a $10 dental product. I should never have been treated that way.
Dr. Kwon is the best. All the girls always treat us great. Our Beagle Hunter crossed the bridge last week. We had him for over 15 years or I should say he had us. We were naturally just distraught. They treated us so kindly. They showed so much kindness to Hunter even though he had passed before we got him there. We cant say enough thank yous to them. We are blessed to have you.
Dr. Kwon is absolutely wonderful. Ive never taken a pet to a better veterinarian. He treats your pet as if they were his own. I highly recommend them.
Dr Kwon is the best vet. We have had some negative experiences at other vets in past and switched to this office a little over a year ago. Both my dogs are 10 years old and I’m so glad we finally found Dr Kwon. He is amazing with animals and just an extremely kind person all around. Definitely recommend if you are unhappy where you are at, switch and you won’t regret it. 😁
What can I say other then this is great vet. I recently adopted a fairly aggressive dog and was very critical of the veterinarian in my area and how they handle less then desirable behavior. When I first met Dr. Kwon I had informed him that my dog is new to me and has a history of being aggressive and that I was pretty concerned about how the interaction was going to go. With in minutes he had my pup eating out of the palm of his hand. Dr. Kwon was absolutely amazing with handling not only my dog but also calming my concerns. He has been my vet for over a year now and would recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Kwon just blew my mind with his vet skills. I have never seen my dog act so calm at a vet before. As soon as Dr Kwon came into the room, he sat on the floor to great my dog. He spent a lot of time explaining everything to me and then did NOT try to nickle and dime me at the end like my last vet did.
Dr. Kwon is the absolute best vet youll find around! Weve been his clients for about 2 years now. Hes so passionate about his profession and takes taking care of your fur family member personally. Dr Kwon is fantastic -- I think were all in agreement here. Hes taken care of my cat in a compassionate and conservative way. I really appreciate it. However, you have to go through the front desk to get to him. And the receptionists ... wow. I had some major issues six months ago -- my poor 14 year old Chloe was hiding in a corner, barely able to move around. It took THREE DAYS to get her seen. This was because the receptionists just really do not care. I remember crying and pleading to the receptionist please just give him a message, I think she might be dying ... She said Maybe. Cool. I later learned that she did not give a single message to Dr Kwon (I left five). Im receiving the same treatment once again. I love Dr Kwon when Im able to reach him and actually get any sort of medical advice. Its a struggle -- I wouldnt recommend this practice for anyone that has a pet that has consistent needs. I would recommend it for all others -- its difficult to find a good vet. Dr Kwon is amazing and its unfortunate that his staff
Dr. Kwon is amazing with the pets. Hes very passionate about his work and it shows in the quality of care. Hes taken care of my dog and two cats, one of which had a broken and abscessed tooth about a year ago. He came out no worse for wear and healed very quickly.
Dr. Kwon Is without a doubt the best thing to happen to pet owners in Delaware County. He has treated both of my dogs, one of whom received horrible surgical treatment from another facility. Dr. Kwon was not only able to correct what they were not able to fix, he also calmed both me and my dog, and got him out of the pain he was suffering. He also treated our other dog for bad teeth,removed them and made sure that she was going to suffer no pain while she was healing. He has an amazing way with the animals, like nothing I’ve ever seen before, and is kind, considerate, and conscious of what his patients need while never pushing them to have something they don’t. We consider ourselves truly blessed to be able to have Dr. Keon take care of our pets.

Dr. Kwon is exceptional. Ive had pets (mostly dogs, now cats) since Im a child through most of my young adulthood and still currently in my early 50s. I have lived in 5 US states and Canada. Dr. Kwon is the best vet I have ever worked with. He is knowledgeable, patient, generous of his time, and very easy to talk to. He explains everything clearly, in everyday terms, and answers every question as though my pet & I are the only patients in the building - even when the other exam rooms are full.We have never waited long to see him. Even if we had to, knowing he is giving another person and their companion the same careful attention we receive would make it worthwhile to wait for him.Two days ago, I took my older guy in to see Dr. Kwon. While we were there someone came in with a stray dog hed found the night before. The way Dr. Kwon and his staff spoke to the man (& the dog!) showed real caring for the dogs well-being and a hope, once she was found not to be chipped or tattooed, that the man and his family would keep her if her family could not be found.I went to a longer-established vet in the area and did not like the way my pet was treated by one of the named vets in the practice.I went to a cat-only vet in the area and was given misinformafion about the meaning of bloodwork along with a pressured push to peform expensive and medically unnecessary testing. It was this exoerience that led me to Brookhaven Vet & Dr. Kwon.Dr. Kwon works with an animal rescue non-profit where I volunteered. I heard good things about him. When the vet we were using recommended advanced diagnostics, I took my cats bloodwork results and my cat to Dr. Kwon.Not only did he walk me through the test results in detail - something the previous vet did not do - but he also showed me exactly why the diagnosis given to me was inaccurate.When my other cat needed a dental cleaning, Dr. Kwons rate was less than half of the fee at the cat-only vet. Im not looking for the cheapest vet care for my pets; I want high-quality care at a competitive price.Dr. Kwon and his staff deliver this every single time we need his services. I wouldnt go anywhere else nor trust my pets to any other vet in the area.
We started using Dr. Kwon a few years ago when we realized our previous vet was too expensive and quite frankly, a bad vet. BVH is reasonably priced, the staff is friendly and Dr Kwon is amazing. He takes all the time he needs to with you and your pet, answers all questions in a clear, concise manner and offers solutions and feedback to us. He also shows empathy to his customers, something our last vet never did. If you live in the Brookhaven area I highly recommend Dr. Kwon.
I took my sweet little calico to Dr. Kwon after she hurt her face running into a new piece of furniture. The woman at the desk was very accommodating and we saw the doctor quickly. Dr. Kwon made my cat feel safe with him which surprised me because shes usually skittish around new people. He diagnosed her with a fracture without pushing unnecessary tests and have me her course of treatment. She recovered quickly and has had no problems. Im very happy to have been referred to Brookhaven Veterinary.
Dr. Kwon was able to diagnose both my dogs issues on their first visit. My dogs suffered with illnesses that could have been treated when first presented to other vets. He and his staff are wonderful, caring, skilled and Dr. Kwon just knows what to do, no messing around. Yesterday I called and was seen within a few hours. He took blood, and had the results in 10 minutes. It was diabetes, probably going on for a long time!
The. New doctor needs to do only what the pet was at the vets to get done. My dog had an ear problem. I had to pay for heartworm test, rabies shot, another vaçcination which could have waited for 2 more week when I received my SS check. Out of money now. The new doc should have come out to talk to me.
Dr. Kwon is amazing, and his staff is knowledgeable and compassionate. Pricing is fair. Appointments are easy to get.
My first vet visit with Dr. Kwon, my pooch was so scared. He got down on the floor and sat with her petting her head and giving her kisses.... from that point, I knew he was a keeper! Been going there ever since (over 2 years). Staff is always willing to help. I work in construction and I recommend him to any new comers that have pets.
I needed a new vet. So far my experiences have been very good. Everyone has been extremely nice and kind. Dr Mule has been great!
I always joke that my dog is the only dog that actually likes going to the vet, but with Dr. Kwon and his amazing staff, what dog wouldnt love it?! Whereas other offices have been turned off by my high-energy pitbull, Brookhaven Veterinary Hospital treated her like a princess. They were completely understanding of her sensory issues and separation anxiety, and really made me feel like I was putting my fur-child in the best possible hands. If youre on the fence about where to take your pet, go see Dr. Kwon!
Dr.kwon is the best. He is a great Vet. He helps me out with strays as much as he can. Very Blue Line friendly. Sometimes he may not be in the best mood but, that is usually because of one reason or another he cant help his customers as much as he would like. This is usually because he has to charge them when they cant afford service sometimes. However, he usually does everything he can to help out the animals and to help their owners get the service they need. Very friendly and has a great relationship with his customers and their animals.
Dr Kwon is the best in the business! The entire staff at Brookhaven is kind, respectful and knowledgeable. I wouldnt take my pets any where else in the world! I dont get it, if my pup is hurt I have to set up an appointment to get him seen?I asked if I could bring him in after coming home and seeing him limping, was told I need an appointment. And a leg x-ray would be $200 plus with sedation plus visit and who knows what else they will charge. I gave the person on the phone a 4star foe being nice but they obviously dont want walk ins. Strange to call a place a hospital when they will only see your pet by appointment. My pet could be in pain and hed have to wait for it to be convenient for the company? No thanks I will take him elsewhere

Dr Kwon is the absolute most honest, caring man. He cares more about the quality of care than anything else. He has performed surgery, emergency services aNd yearly visits. If you are unhappy with your current vet this is the right place for you.
My puppy is only two months old, I bought him 3 days ago. Dr. Kwon is so disrespectful, not pet friendly AT All!!!! He told me my puppy has a deadly disease and that he is going to die before even testing him for it then he told me that I should just take my puppy back to where I brought him from because he was a waste of my money. Soon enough I found out that my puppy has tested NEGATIVE for that deadly disease and his illness is treatable. Please DO NOT take any of your pets here! Terrible place!!!!!
Its high quality care with a small town vibe. The care your pet receives is very personal and its the main reason I will continue to take my pets here. Highly recommended if youre looking for a vet with amazing staff and veterinarians to care for your animals.
I honestly dont know what I would do without the staff at Brookhaven vet. They are always there to answer my questions and help in any way possible. Since day 1. The staff is always so happy and I never feel like im inconveniencing them (though I know I am, they are always sooo busy). Thank you for taking such good care of my babies and being there for us during some pretty difficult situations.

This vet, as well as everyone who works there, is awesome. You can tell they all just live the animals. Our dog is a mess around other dogs. They clear the waiting room of other dogs before we go in, and afterwards let us take our dog to the car first, and then I can head back in to the office to pay. If you call before office hours, often the vet himself will answer the phone. I find their rates to be very reasonable as well.

We have had dogs for many, many years and I have never met a vet who was so compassionate, not only to the animal but to us humans also. His medical discernment was perfect. We went in as an emergency and were treated as family. We had a very difficult decision to make and were given the time and comfort to do that at our own pace. All of our dogs will be going there from here on. We couldnt have asked for a better experience.
This guy is the man. Seriously hes a caring and gifted vet. He cares about your animal like you care about your animal. And he will do everything possible to help you keep your pets alive and well. Dont go anywhere else. I spent over a thousand dollars on test and ended up going here and spending a fifth of that to actually get an answer. If you love your pet, skip the rest and choose the best.
Love this vet and was so happy when I switched over a couple of years ago. The doctor is very caring and genuinely cares about all the pets. However, I am disappointed that they used to only make you get rabies every 2 years (as most do) and now it is every year. I feel this is such a waste of money and everything is already so expensive for pets. Why would they implement this? Other than that, 4 stars!
Just called to set up an appointment and I was turned down since I have not had my dog there in a few years. Wow! Totally dumbfounded! Was told they save all appointments for people that go there regularly so they wouldn’t help me. Unbelievable !

The vet was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about bunnies and explained the treatment well. The tech people on staff were friendly and supportive and scheduling our next appointment was quick and easy.

My friend suggested Brookhaven Vet after my 4 year old pitbull-Bentleys paw swelled up over night! I called the vet at 9 and was going to leave a message (since they didnt open until 10) but Dr.Kwon called me right back and said to bring Bentley in at 10. I was so happy they could see him. Dr. Kwon was so great with Bentley and took care of him like he was his own. You can tell how passionate he is about animals and his job. I highly recommend Brookhaven Vet!
Dr. Wong is so kind to the animals. Rather than put them up on the exam table that most of them hate, he will sit right there on the floor and do his exam there. Great staff too. Highly recommend

Brought a rescue kitten in, when there was an issue with the bill (the kitten was registered as our pet not a rescue with our rescue group that we work with), my mother and I told if the bill was not paid in full then they would keep the kitten and he would be killed. THESE PEOPLE ARE MONSTERS!! We have lost two kittens due to their negligence and now THIS?! How ANYONE could shower them with such glowing reviews is beyond me.

Im not sure whats going on with these guys but they have failed to respond to emails the past two times I inquired about setting up an appointment. Its a shame the doc is great but the office staff should probably try to retain customers during an economic downturn. Im done with them.

2022-02-09Dr Kwon saved our Golden’s life 5 yrs ago, after a botched neuter surgery elsewhere. Since then, he has taken care of all 3 dogs. Best around! Empathetic, honest, and skilled. He genuinely cares!

2022-07-06The girls at the desk were extremely rude, the doctor held my dog down until he peed in fear all over him self. My dog has a rash all over him and they are refusing to see my dog. The girl just hung up on me. I sent pictures and never got an answer about my dogs rash. They said we can’t see your pet anymore and hung up. She could not give me a reason as to why she’s not seeing him anymore. I will be contacting their management.

2022-01-22As a dog trainer I have been to many vets. Brookhaven is the best in the area for your regular veterinary care.Dr. Kwon is great with the animals and does not have a holier than thou attitude towards his patients or their humans. He has always done his very best to take care of both my cats and dogs and works hard to figure out an issue while not making a big issue out of a small problem like many other vets I have been too. Great practice, reasonable prices and a good attitude towards customers give this place 5 stars.

2019-04-04Dr Kwon is the most gentle doctor with my cats, funny and sweet. When I had to euthanize my pet, he was absolutely sensitive knowing how upset I was. He is Loved by everyone who crosses his path💞

2022-06-29Dr. is very nice , The front desk that they have are rude incompetent people, no reminders ever sent for rabies , yearlys etc... even though they say that they send reminders...I have transferred everything out of there to a new vet due to their poor bedside manor....I rather drive a half hour than deal with these folks right around the corner from me.

2021-10-24Dr Kwon is amazing, there is a lady on his staff that soured my experience. My dog went in for a skin irritant and while I was trying to talk to her about the cause, first she indicated she knew and than she said she didnt know and she was very condescending like my questions annoyed her. Definitely not professional in any capacity.

2020-09-10Dr Kwan and his team are amazing. Our pup was recently very sick and he met us at 10:30pm to do xrays and an untrasound. We can’t say enough good things about Dr. Kwan and his office. He is very smart and we fully trust him to make decisions that are best for our pup. Luckily we avoided surgery and his good judgment was correct! We’ve taken our chocolate lab Penny there since she was a puppy and have always had a great experience. Thank you so much for everything!!!
