Bought a new chevy 2500 crew 8ft bed ltz. Waited a week got it . Salesman nice guy did a great job. He noticed scratches on the passenger side bed. Had it taken care of. But were still scratches on fender flair which i told c harper when they begged for a good review but never heard back. Also a mark on the top of the bed and spot on the hood. Never heard back after they allowed me to give them 70k for the truck.
Great buying experience until I noticed I was losing air in my tires after only not even a month of leasing the vehicle! I was putting air in it 2 times a day freezing in the mornings, half the air pumps were not working I stopped at and was almost late to a funeral because if it. I was told I had no act of nature coverage because I leased and that I should go to my local service center first to see if it was covered because if it was something I ran over it was not covered unless it was a tire defect. If my local person found nothing in the tire I could bring it to C Harper service center for repair. They said I may not be able to get in right away nor get a loaner. I was concerned for my safety waiting and it was ridiculous to keep putting air in the tire hoping it would not pop and I would wreck. I was very upset this was not concerning to the dealer service manager. Here there is a bolt in the inside of the tire. They had no way of knowing When this happened before or after I left the dealer lot. It can start leaking air sometime after. Now they say I have to buy a new tire out of my own pocket! $58k month old car! Very disappointed they will not replace this tire!
This dealership was/is a nightmare to work with. The salesman was overly helpful when trying to get the sale, but has not returned emails or phone calls since then. Also, their team had no idea on the laws on selling vehicles to people from a state other than PA. Even a few free oil changes is not enough to make me even consider going back to this place.
Had a unpleasant experience with this dealership. We were there for four hours listening to the salesmen talk… I guess he was trying to entertain us by talking about his life and we were fine with that but as time went on he ran out of much to say and started talking about politics and COVID. Definitely would of walked away if the car wasn’t so nice not a subject I would like to talk about and unprofessional that it would get to that point of conversation. Should of been a happy experience for a 19 year old and his first car but it wasn’t unfortunately I left frustrated but with my 2018 Tucson sport which I absolutely love. I would recommend this dealership but my experience wasn’t that great.
Before Christmas, I went to C. Harper Collision Center to have a repair completed on my Honda from a deer hit. I had asked for a separate estimate for a parking lot dent on the right rear door.The Monday before I was to have the repairs done I called the Collision Center, to make sure they were going to do both repairs. I also wrote on the key drop envelope, that I wanted both repairs completed.Four days later when I went to pick up the Honda they did not fix the door dent. They stated they didnt know I wanted it done. WHAT how many times do you have to be told??Their solution was to leave the car for the following week and they would fix it. I guess they assumed I had a fleet of cars to my disposal and could go another week without my work car. Of course, they offered no compensation for their incompetence and acted like oh well, better luck next time. I didnt even get a sorry about that the female who wrote the second estimate, made me feel like it was my fault.Over the past several years I purchased 3 vehicle from C. Harper, never again. Nor will I use there service department again.
Drove an over an hour away to look at a vehicle. We noticed the backup camera was not working (advertised as working on website) we said we would be interested if they can get working at the price we agreed upon.They called and advised they would not repair the backup camera but it would cost an additional $700 to repair, even though they advertised as working. They used a horrible excuse as its an as is vehicle and the reason they couldnt repair it at no cost. We have screenshots of them advertising the working backup camera Dealers are con-artists.Walked away from the purchase and wont be back. Buyers beware.
Have purchased many vehicles from C Harper. Last two times have been awful. One time check credit without permission. Last month purchased a vehicle. Still trying to straighten out paper work. Heres a few added employer to my credit report, used Jody instead of Judy on credit check could have saved some interest. Purchased extended warranty used wrong name. Still trying to straighten this out. Have called to speak to someone there but never get call back. Check all papers before leaving but I guess some how there got changed. No ever 1 star now......
Bought my car brand new here in 2011. Have taken it back several times for routine service, inspections and that sort of thing. I really have been very satisfied with the service I received. No sticker shock. In other words they seem honest. Also it is a nice waiting room, and better yet very nice staff on hand. They are inviting and friendly! Id definitely recommend them! Great group of people there, very friendly and professional.
C.Harper is terrific! We had some detail work done on our new chevy suv. The service department staff listened to what we wanted. Really paid attention to detail. They did an excellent job. In a timely manner. The cost was about what we expected for the work we had done. Will recommend C.Harper to everyone I know! Thank you C.Harper😁
Was looking for a specific vehicle and stopped by several other dealerships prior to going to C Harper. Walt, the used car manager and Harold, my sales person were exceptional. They found me the specific vehicle I was looking for, ordered it to be delivered to the dealership and communicated quickly that there was a delay in the delivery process. Harold showed up on his day off once the vehicle arrived and he is first class. I will certainly be buying all of my future vehicles from him and C Harper. Extremely helpful, friendly and easy people to buy a car from. Simply the easiest car buying experience I have had. Great customer service from start to finish and felt really comfortable buying from them.
I called to inquire about a vehicle back in May/June. I was only looking to get a price/information to pass on to the person I was calling for. The person shopping found a better deal, and since the time I called to ask for the price I have been called & emailed weekly. Im not sure of the policy but they should put one in place.
Bought used car couple years ago and Ive had nothing but problems since. It has been taken in 2 times just for the air conditioning not working. Its still not fixed.Some of the other problems include... Broken driver seat, all of brakes needed replaced, shock absorber broken, replaced strut.Terrible experience.
My wife decided it was time to trade in her 2017 Malibu on a Cadillac CT5. Browsing the internet she found a car in the color she wanted at C. Harper. We drove out on a Sunday to look at the car even though the dealership was closed. The car looked like everything she wanted, so Monday she called to inquire, and Talked to Jeff Bankovich, who provided everything she wanted to know and told her he could have the car ready for a test drive whenever she wanted.She Made an appointment for Tuesday, Jeff explained that he had a previous commitment but he would have someone help us until he became available. Like any knowledgeable buyer I started my research on pricing incentives trade in value and such. On the drive to the dealer my wife and I discussed where we wanted to be on numbers + or minus. We got to the dealer a little late. We were introduced to Jeff and he passed us off to Tim for the test drive, which consisted of various type of roads and traffic.Tim was knowledgeable and answered all questions. Once we pulled back into the dealership Tim asked the dreaded question So other than price is there anything keeping you from driving this car home today? (LOL). My head immediately filled with vision of 4 square papers, countless sidebars to the sales manger etc. Im now ready for the grind.Jeff took us to his office and started the small talk, and asked if we were paying cash or financing. Here it comes. I told Jeff let’s talk price and leave finance to the end. Now heres where it gets good. The price was right where my wife and I agreed + $200.00. So now i figure theyre going to under value the trade, Nope right where I wanted to be. So now off to finance with Joe, here comes the hard sell right? Nope. No BS.I was so shocked on the ride home trying to figure out where we got took. Its a shame that we probably wont be in the new car market for a long time now. C. Harper and Jeff in particular will get my business in the future, I will recommend them to anyone I know looking for a new car. My only regret is we didnt buy from them sooner.5 star people and experience!
Recently i purchase a 2019 F 150 Pickup from C Harper Ford. unfortunately i wanted a special color and equipment. Mike Hamwey arranged for a the truck to be transfer to the Belle Vernon location from another dealership but some of the equipment that i wanted was not on the vehicle that was delivered there. We began the search for a second time and found a second truck that meet my wishes. He then arranged for the second truck to be delivered. fortunately this was truck had the equipment i wanted and i made the purchase. It was a sincere pleasure to work with Mike. I do appreciate the effort he put forth to keep me happy. I will definitely return for my next vehicle.
My wife and I wanted a Ford Escape so we went to C. Harper Ford.Mike Hamwey greeted us right away as soon as we entered thedealership. Mike was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable.We already knew which Escape we were interested in. Mike took us to goget it and we took it on a nice test drive.We got back to the dealership and went over details. This was the first time that I took a deal to the dealership explaining what we wanted and what payment we were comfortable with. I did not know if this deal was going to happen, but I can honestly say that Mike went above and beyond to get us the deal that we wanted. Mike went over the entire vehicle with us explaining everything. We were very happy when we left. We enjoyed working with Tom ( The Finance Guy ). He also was very nice and explained everything to us. This is our 4th vehicle that we purchased from C. Harper. Could not imagine going anywhere else. Thank you Mike Hamwey.
WOW!! I cannot believe how much a dealer or sales person puts up with. For 3 days I was a basket case. A ‘idk idk idk’ type of person. Not one push! Not one slimy feeling. Just a guy answering questions and working numbers. Trevor Savage(at the big truck lot)truly worked for me. From dealing with me, to offering to trade a higher end model with another dealer for the step down model! All during a time that no dealers will even trade! He learned the features on the car just to show me! He sells the 250s, the dumps, the big boy trucks..but he actually took the time to learn the Telluride so he could show me! Not one question went unanswered! He was patient. He fed my kids candy. He laughed at me. He eased my mind after a horrific experience with Shorkey and a JEEP. I seriously have ptsd from that mess. But. Trevor dealt handled it like pro. I bought one of cars from C-HARPER when I was in my 20s. I’m so glad to be back with this group! Go see Trevor Savage! He’s at the top lot. And he can sell you any of the vehicle’s!! Not only will he sell you the vehicle you want. He will learn the damn thing just to teach you the features!
Was very pleased with the excellent service. Cody was very friendly , knowledgeable and thorough when it came time to explain the details about the car before we drove it home. As the commercial states for C Harper, its just that easy. I would recommend everyone that is interested in purchasing a car to stop by and see what they have to offer.
Had new bumper put on. They said 3 days., then called 3 days later and said they needed another part and they were waiting for insurance co to approve it and part would take one day to come in then it would be done. Then they called me on Monday (paid cash for 2 more days of rental car because they’re closed all weekend), said they got the okay and car would be done Wednesday. Never heard from them Wednesday. Thursday afternoon I called them and they said the part still didn’t come so maybe tomorrow, Friday, so if not Friday I have to pay 2 more days cash for rental so they have had my car a week and a half and they said 3 days. I’m beyond livid!!!!!
4 months ago we purchased a used 2015 Chevy Tahoe. Great condition (so we thought!), ran the car fax & repair history personally and nothing alarming showed up. Decent miles for a 2015 bought in late 2017.Had the car for 17 DAY, & took it in for a recall for a dome light. No problem right? Dropped the car off & harpers were nice enough to take me to work, instead of me having to get a rental because it’s just a minor dome fix right? Well, I received a call around 3PM saying, something happened to the car while they were bringing it back to me at work. The lifters in the motor quit working...SO THEY DROVE IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP WITH A WRECKED MOTOR...well that didn’t end well with the boyfriend. They “fixed” the lifter issue in 5 days with a lot of choice words from our party. Said from the repair office themselves “the oil was changed, all fluids have been changed, it was treated like it was new to the lot.” Okay LIE! Thankfully the boyfriend is more equipped with cars than they are. We found chunks of ACTUAL METAL in the oil that was supposedly “changed” & “cleaned”. Coolant was never changed or flushed about AND A OVER FILLED so they call that changed & cleaning, the motor was redone, so dirty coolant is flush trough there ruining everything else. We now WILL NEVER take our car there to be serviced & will do everything ourselves or take it elsewhere.
Drove an hour yesterday morning down to C Harper to help my roommate buy a new car. I had never dealt with dealerships before so I had absolutely no idea what to expect. We dealt with Trevor Savage, and then Tom. Both were absolutely AMAZING to deal with. There were a few hiccups in getting her registration/insurance figured out, causing us to be there for well over 5 hours... Trevor was an absolute delight the whole time. Everything was finally figured out, and we could not be more grateful for Trevor and the work he put in for us yesterday. Once Im ready, I will 100% be going to him to get my next Ford Explorer!
Nick, Rick, and all the staff at C. Harper are amazing. They took very good care of me and my vehicle. Very professional, patient with many calls from me, and very friendly. Nick took very valuable time to help me with purchasing the truck, and Rick went above and beyond to take an ordinary truck and turn it into MY truck. I love you guys and thank you for all your help. Well, I purchased two vehicles in one day with CHarper. This wasnt my first purchase with them (3 cars 1 truck now). We had a rocky start but they were very diligent in correcting the issues. My suggestion to any one who goes there is if you go to Honda request Rudy or if you go to Chevy request Bob. They are two of the greatest people to deal with.
My wife and I had a great buying experience from C.Harper! The sales staff were all friendly & knowledgeable. I really liked the no pressure sales they didnt try and force anything on us or make us uncomfortable. Once our deal was made the finance dept made short work of the paperwork amd had us out of there in no time! Definitely stop in if your in the market for a new vehicle
Dante was amazing. He was kind,friendly,and all around a decent man. He let us try so many different options until I found one I fell in love with! Not worth any stars!!! Took my Silverado in for oil change and lube, got the oil change done but no lube was done on chassis. Also truck is a 4.3 litre witch calls for 4.54 us quarts and they charged me for 6.5 quarts. I took all 4 of my Chevrolets there for service but will not go back. C. Harper you lost all of my business plus my company truck business. Good job.

I am not happy with C Harper. I have a recall letter for air bags and it says a free vehicle will be provided. I called C Harper and they said they do not provide free vehicles for this type of recall. They also said they couldnt get it in for 3 weeks and Ford said it could cause immediate death if they arent replaced. So I am forced to drive a car that could kill someone and they cant provide a vehicle or get it fixed sooner. I lost all faith in C Harper and in Ford.
My daughter and I went to just look around for a car that she might become Interested in,and may consider buying after looking here and other places. We were approached by Herb as soon as we walked into the used car area. Herb stated that if we needed anything to come see him. As we looked around, Herb came up to us and offered his help once again. While we looked around and talked to him,he suggested other cars to look at. My daughter was interested in a Sonic. Herb got us to come down to his office and took her info,and said he had to go to the other building to get the initial offer that she could take to her bank. In the mean time another man,from what Herb told us,looked over my daughters car and made a determination on what it would be worth for trade in. The only issue I would have is the time we waited for Herb to get back,and didnt let us know about the additional time that we waited. Herb is a very good guy and I would ask for him if you go here looking at a used car. I think hell do you right,just have the time needed to look and talk with him. But if she should buy here and this car,Ill redo this and let yinz know how it all went down. Ok my daughter got her car,a Chevy Sonic 2014. A nice car although mileage is a little high,but she financed about $7,200 for six years. Which had Ive know ahead of time it was for six and a few other things that I wasnt too happy with,she wouldve continued looking. Herb is a very cool guy,and if you so choose to buy a car(used) here,then ask for or search out Herb. A few of the issues I had,Herb did his best to make right,which he did,aside from a couple other ones. But my suggestion is loom around dont be in a hurry,cause another dealer might have the same car cheaper and maybe better. Do your homework,and remember if youre approved to get the loan,then youre in the drivers seat,dont let them get u on the song and dance. They dont wanna work with you,then another one will and you just might be happier.
My granddaughter Rented a car at Enterprise. The registration and inspection where EXPIRED ......over 6 months overdue! Because of this she was pulled over by the state police and hassled by him saying it was her fault and that she should have checked the rental first !!!! He then proceeded to issue her a ticket for no seat belt! When we went back to complain at the Enterprise office, the woman that rented her the car was conveniently no longer employed there ! They Apologized but Big Deal! It was to late and we received no compensation for all the trouble caused. Make sure you check first before signing anything. UPDATE....4/1/18....The manager made it right and paid $90.oo for the ticket. Very nice man, enterprise should have someway to check their cars automatically because they are always coming in from different states. Will rent their again.
Absolutely disgusted with c Harper took my car to their collision center on February 28th didnt get it back until the middle of March then when I got it back there is something wrong with the engine took it back to them they said it was a CO2 sensor and things and made me change all this plugs and wires and everything another $600 after giving them 10 grand already and after that the car still wasnt fixed so I took it back there and now theyre trying to tell me that the Piston is cracked and the engine needs rebuilt and with that being said when I drop the car off at c Harper in February the only thing that needed done was body work there was absolutely nothing wrong with my engine my car ran like a champ show this just comes to show how crooked CHarper really is

2022-04-05I was working on buying a 2020 ram big-horn here. The deal was sealed and was there today to finish the process. Over 5 hours into this process over two days and I found a long dent along the rocker panel on the driver side. I could have sworn it was not there when we sealed the deal days earlier but it was pretty bad. They would not do anything for me other than $500 off. The fix would be thousands no doubt. I decided to walk.C. Harper claims its identity to be loyalty, integrity, quality and customer service, but there was no apology or way to make right after hours lost on a vehicle. Not even a comparable vehicle in one of the lots was looked into. I called Troy, the manager after thinking about the customer service treatment and he told me they talked to another sales person, and that it was known the truck had a wrecked part and that it sold the week before and the same thing happened. Definitely not good business or integrity on behalf of C. Harper.Overall that call ended up, go look on our website and find something then. We already know your trade in value and credit score.I expected more from a company that claims to be the best price, everytime, all the time.

2022-06-29Reggie Little was my salesman. He was great! He was quick, informative, and not pushy. He was straight up with me and set me pics over the phone and even negotiated over the phone through his manager. Reggie even gave me a contact to get a cheap bedliner spray.The truck was not detailed and was ran through a car wash. Not a huge deal but something that I feel a dealer should do. Im rating 4 star because of the finance guy. Super pushy about the warranty when I told him I didnt want one. He also made a mistake on the paper work and a few days later I was told I was going to have to drive back out and sign papers. Eventually i got a email to e-sign the papers but it was a hassle.

2022-06-01Stacey in service is extremely unprofessional I asked for a key fob battery replacement as I had work done go to pick up my suv she replaced my entire car battery did not listen to what I asked for and I then paid for a new battery for car when it was the battery for key fob that I needed. Second had my daughter take her car there for replacement part that was under warranty(fuse) she needed rotors as well, appointment was at 3, so they had 2 hours to replace rotors I get a call stating it won’t be done till the following day at 10, a day to replace rotors when I had appointment? I explained unacceptable as we have one car needed it for work she states it’s on a lift no one is there to take it down and it’s not 5:00 yet? She then acted as if she was putting me on hold and hung up on me. I’ve given them a second chance after the first mishap, but her attitude and service time are not professional and I will not return.

2022-01-06So here goes my story .I had bought a used Kia Sportage from them in February 2021 nice car in till to find out they never did the upgrade recalls on the vin to make sure it had the knock rod sensor ,From all of the bad moters that were blowing up and the law suet with Hyundai and kia about bad bearing . You would think they would of done that but nope never did so out of pocket $7000 for moter called and stated about the issue and they said i had signed a paper about the recall being done .There service guy should know it was a upgrade to protect the moter and the $$ to shell out by custer not a recall UPGRADE.so also to add to the point car is supposed to be awd nope bad coupler on the back pumpkin that is $1000 buck .So if your reading this you should check your vin and diffenly look over very well cause they say they do but dont care Now I kinda wonder why it wasnt KIA certified very bad business check around d first!!
