Only had oil change and inspection was done in a timely manner . Before work was preformed service manager took pictures of my truck. I washed the vehicle the night before and the mechanic left greasy hand prints on the hood. Next to the prints were 2 nicks in the paint not there the night before. Went back in showed manager but didnt show me the pictures he had taken. Said I would be contacted but never was. Not happy.
In the market for a Z71 Tahoe. Found one at C. Harper and was told I could reserve it if I filled out a credit app, which I did, and was told I would be called once it arrived. I received a call from the sales person about a week later asking if I was still interested because there were others interested as well, to which I replied yes. I called a few days later to check if the vehicle had arrived yet and was told that it had already sold because someone had put a deposit down on it. I was never even given the option to put a deposit down. I had already been to the dealership a week prior to show them my trade and it was NEVER mentioned that if I wanted to hold the Tahoe that I needed to put a deposit down. Very upset as these vehicles are hard to come by nowadays.
The team at Harpers is truly a team. Every person there worked to make our buying experience positive. We were treated with respect & they made sure our purchase met our needs. Our salesman Van McWreath went above & beyond to suit our needs of a car we could easily access . Due to our physical limitations Van made sure our car was perfect for us. Sending all people we know looking for a new vehicle right to Van & the Harper team.
Everyone was curious, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The process was easy and the service was done quickly. She also asked me if I wanted my vehicle washed after the service was complete which was nice of her. Thanks for everything. Tony is wonderful,knowledgeable and honest with you. Everyone I met throughout the years was everything that I stated above. I remember Tony because he is who I prefer to speak and work with. I believe that C Harper is the best place to purchase your new vehicle.
Absolute awful service. No one took an initiative to help me or even attempt to fix the issue with my vehicle. They had my vehicle over 3 months, a one month delay on getting me a rental that I pay for through my insurance, and never reimbursed me or even attempted to credit me $1500 as the manager promised me for all the negligence. Never ever will be buying a vehicle from them again. If zero stars were a choice, that would be my rating for this poorly run dealership.
Jeff Bankovich was totally AWESOME to deal with. We drove 235 miles to get our Bright Blue Metallic RS Blazer. To find that color in an AWD fully loaded was like finding a needle in a haystack. And Jeff made it happen! Jarrod Berkeley was equally AWESOME! He not only made signing the paperwork painless, but took the time to briefly explain all the documentation. Even after we left, Jarrod went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible deal on an extended warranty. Finally, Jeff rallied days after the sale to enable us to cash in our GM rewards rebate for a CPO vehicle. I’ve driven Chevys my entire life and professionals like Jeff and Jarrod will keep me driving Bowties! C. Harper is lucky to have them on their team. As a retired veteran, I salute Jeff and Jarrod! I would not hesitate to make the drive again to deal with them. They are true professionals who set the example for others to follow!
My usual salesman no longer works at this dealer, so over the past month I talked to 2 salesman. The day that I came in to make a deal, the first salesman didnt answer his phone but the 2nd one did. So when I came to the dealership, the first salesman kept bothering me as to why I wasnt making a deal with him. I almost left and went to another dealership
Very, Very dissapointing to say this is a GM dealer. Never heard of a dealer being so mean and unhelpful from guiding you into a new product. Then finance group sneaking in a higher interst rate. They were not knowledgeable to know we went online to find our intereat rate. WILL TELL EVERYONE OF MY FRIENDS THIS DEALER IS A CROOK! BEWARE OF DEALERS LIKE THIS !
We understand that there was a shortage on getting the parts and workers..due to the Covid. We applied to Harper in September, but parts didn’t come in till January. Then the wheel came in the wrong size. My husband was wondering if they changed the whole fender, like they said the might have to do, or was it repairable. But we were very satisfied with the work done and felt our shiny 2015 Impala looked like a new car when we drove it home on February 2, 2022. Thanks!
Everything I was hoping for. Cameron was very helpful and friendly and was paying attention to my concerns and questions.All my previous experiences at other dealerships have been met with passive work and lack of willingness to do their job of presenting the vehicle.Finally my expectation of getting an interaction where a dealership cared about the customer and their product was finally met. Closest to the kind of hospitality I expect from Indian equivalent dealerships.
When I got in my car to leave after my oil change I noticed something on my steering wheel, I grabbed a napkin & wiped my wheel down & the napkin was black. I don’t want grease/oil/filth in my car from a service I had done & every time I get my vehicle serviced there for the last 8 months there’s always an excuse to as why they don’t want to wash my car. I paid almost $150 for an oil change & new wipers & they can’t wash the car & keep the grease off of my steering wheel?
This car was my third purchase from C. Harper. The last two served me well & I was really hoping to purchase another.Staci Speney made the experience most enjoyable. She spent a lot of time looking for the right vehicle for me.Before making the purchase I should have made a bumper to bumper inspection.The grill has a small piece broken out and a break below it.There is no possible way this happened after my purchase because nothing has even touched the front of the car.Im hoping that you will make the necessary repair to my beautiful Malibu.Respectively,Arlene Harshbarger
Decent place but my car was left filthy and I am very leery that they actually did all of the job. I was told I need to ask them to lubricate my ball joints in order to make sure it gets done. What else do I need to remind them about. Is it my responsibility to remind them to change the filter!?!?
I worked with Stacey in Service and she has been helping me try and get my car fixed for weeks, but tye code was never active during business hours. It finally came on and I called her, she got me in immediately and they were quick to get my car in and back on the road. I appreciate how they are straight forward no matter what.
When i made my appt, they asked the mileage. I told them. When i get there for my oil chg, tire rotation, they tell me I need 30,000 mile maintenance. Why was this not relayed to me prior? I was told i really needed this, which i get, but your appt takers REALLY NEED to relay this info. It was NY eve and I could not get it done, as we had company.
CHarper is unreliable. They did my inspection and messed up my tires pressure sensors. My car is making a squeaky sound. And their service advisors could careless they caused the problem. They charged me for a problem they created. Not only that, they don’t respect women!

I had my transfer case fluid, front and rear differential fluid, and transmission fluid changed. I also had new directional tires mounted and balanced. When I checked my tires after they were done I noticed they were all mounted inside out. Based on the fact that mounting tires was the easiest of all the services… it made me lose confidence in having them perform any service correctly. This resulted in waiting for an additional 1.5 hrs as well. Not sure I’ll be returning.
I’ll never use this body shop! They had my truck for almost 2 months when I got it back it over heated and had to be towed back because the radiator hose was not hooked up, headlights were not adjusted, the hood was not adjusted, and scratches in the paint. I’ll take it somewhere else next time.
Did absolutely nothing! I was there for 3 1/2 hours with an issue with my truck that accorded the day before. My break petal pressed completely to the floor and the mechanic was well aware of this and admitted it. He claimed her hooked up the computer to it and nothing popped up. Never looked at the truck or anything physically just the computer but yet admitted the breaks pressed to the floor. Never again will I be going back. I purchased the truck, brand new, a few months prior. It’s still under warranty and everything. I even pay additional each month for a loaner/rental supplied through them if something is wrong with them. They refused to give me one or anything. I will never take my truck there again and I will never purchase a vehicle from them either. Worst service ever. Highly don’t recommend.
I contacted 5 dealerships within 2 states (NY,PA) looking for a specific vehicle. Based on how C. HARPER returned my request and quickly addressed my concerns, I decided to go with them. I was assisted by Alex and Jarrod. I would without a doubt recommend and become a returning customer for any future purchase and they are a 3 1/2 hour drive from my home. This was my second vehicle from C Harper, from 2 locations. And both times I found them top notch! They keep it simple, take good care of you, and they keep the process flowing so you are out the door fast! I would highly recommend this location, and looking forward to buying from here again in the future!
I wanted to modify this post (06/09/2022) to add to my previous review. My wife and I recently bought cars from Tony and had a great experience. She wanted something with 4 cylinders and a lower payment. Tony was quick to get some numbers together and find her a perfect vehicle to fit her needs. I would highly recommend C. Harper to anyone looking for a new or certified used car.I bought my first car here years ago and was satisfied with the purchase. We went today to browse and the dealer was respectful of our wish to just browse. He escorted us around the lot in a golf cart and was very helpful and accommodating. When we do go back to buy, this gentleman will be the one we buy from. Its a big dealer with plenty to choose from. We were looking at Chevys and Cadillacs but they also deal with Jeep, and Kia. There is another big lot across the road that also deals with Ford and Honda. I would recommend this dealership because of the positive experiences I have had with them.
First I’m thankful for their valet service, it’s so convenient. They have always taken great care of my vehicle, concerning the work I request, and they always keep me informed about what could be beneficial, in terms of keeping my vehicle in tip-top shape. I am thankful for their professionalism and knowledge.
I took my truck into service for a a recall Dylan who is a gentleman I dealt with very nice very pleasant very informative. While I was waiting for my truck to get done I decided to go out and check the new trucks out I dont with Amanda awesome down to earth and she wasnt pushy like a lot of sales people are and I respect her for that.
Guys, how about set a standard price for a job. You diagnose a back up sensor and tell us price... $800 later its fixed. There has to be some liability on dealership and Chevy for vehicles produced an sold. You tell us its a few hour job, later the next day we can finally pick vehicle up. If you dont know what you are doing, just say so up front dont wast my time and money!
Everyone that I spoke with was great, and helped me through the entire process. The only negative I have was that through no fault of their own, I was not able to get a lender car while mine was there for service due to the shortage. All in all, great experience and would recommend.

Needed an oil change. Although I bought at Bowser, CHarper is very close to me and I’ve been going there with my daughter for her car for the past few years. I like the way you work and how great you are with the customers. Will be coming there again for my Buicks needs.
Every time I schedule service for my Acadia here (only an oil change and tire rotation), I wait for 1 1/2 hours.This last visit I had an appointment at 9:15, and we did not leave until 11:15! I had to go find our service advisor to see what the hold up was. I had my year old daughter and my 5 year old son who wasn’t feeling well. I know this is not your fault, but why schedule an appointment when you sit for 2 hours!!!All I had done was oil change, air filter, and tires rotated. This cost me $150, which I was told about after it was done.Your service charges are completely outrageous.I will never return for service again due to both the cost and the wait time.Quit over scheduling customers...Oh, AND your car wash was out of service, so not even a free car wash for $150
Cody and Cameron worked together to give us the best deal possible and helped us navigate all the new features and extras on the truck. There was no pressure and they made us feel comfortable with our choice. The Finance Manager, Joe explained the financing and offered the extended warranty with no pressure to buy, but meticulously detailed the advantages. We love the truck!! We are very pleased overall with our experience with C Harper!
I will never again buy an automobile from C. Harper again. I purchased a Buick Uncore GX in September of 2020.My experience wasn’t a happy one.The manager wasn’t very cooperative and didn’t care about my problem. I eventually got rid of the Buick seven months after I bought it. It only had 859 miles on it when I sold the Buick.I do not recommend C. Harper to anyone.
Great buying experience... We have been looking around for over 2 months for the right car. This company and sales team went above and beyond to drop of our GMC Terrain Denali. This is the place to go if you need your car worked on. I drive an hour from WV to bring the Corvette here. The rates are going to be a little higher per hour b/c its a dealer, also one reason I have 4 stars. The only other issue I have is when I call I dont always get a call back. Ive tried to get an estimate without having to drive there a couple times and unfortunately that is the only issue I do have. Otherwise top place to go.
My vehicle which was purchased here., came in w/coupon for check up 6-10-21.Less then month later (7-8-21), preparing for road trip home (NJ). Vehicle ended up in dealership a day & a half. 😕 NOT HAPPY AT ALL. Now additional problems that could have been Prevented, in my opinion.Because of problem, I have to pay $500-1000 for repair that would have been covered under my warranty.
Another great experience with the folks in sales at C. Harper Auto Group. This time around, I was paired up with salesman Alex Hornak. Interactions with vehicle sales people can be a bit overwhelming at times. However, I have yet to experience any pressure from them to simply make a sale at C. Harper. I told Alex what my needs were and I basically left it up to him to find what I was looking for. And he delivered in less than a half day. What a great experience again. Since this is my first Google review for C. Harper, I would be remiss to not acknowledge Scott Bickerton as well for bringing us into the C. Harper family of vehicle owners. But it all clearly starts at the top with Casey and his family. Our experiences have shown us that customer service is clearly a high priority. Stop by and see them! We most certainly will be when it’s time for another vehicle.
Used less than 23% of allotted mileage on the vehicle I returned using the lease pull ahead option. Expected to get a reasonable amount of equity for unused mileage allowing me to lease a well equipped SUV. That did not happen. I settled on a vehicle far short of what I desired. I had done some inquiries at other dealerships and now wish I had pursued it further. Likely will do so at the end of my current lease!
Zach Long was our salesman and he was beyond helpful for us! At no point was he trying to push us in a direction we did not want to go. Kudos to Zach and the rest of the team as everyone we meet and dealt with was very professional and courteous. We love our 2021 Chevy Traverse and would definitely deal with C. Took my 2019 colorado in for a 9 am appointment. Rear axle vibration. Called at 1 pm to check status of my vehicle.Not even looked at. They said they would have it in shortly.... Received a call at 5pm. Hasnt been in the garage yet and would be in first thing in the am.Well see.
TJ is amazing. He called and updated me every step of the way and when I told him I didnt have a way to pick up my car until after they closed he had a solution. This is not the first time I have worked with TJ and hes always polite, professional and just all around a great person. Thank you for everything!
I have been dealing with Matt Basl for a number of years and he is just a great person to work with. He has been kind enough over the last couple of years to take my car in for service when it needs it, to what ever dealership he is at. This kind of service is hard to find and so are employees dedicated to making a customers experience go beyond just purchasing a vehicle from them. You are lucky to have such a conscientious employee on your staff.
I had an 8:30 appt. and I arrived on time for an inspection including emission, oil change and tire rotation. I didn’t leave the dealership until around 10:50. In the mean time I was aware that several customers who arrived after me but were able to get their service done and leave before me. Bottom line, I don’t think that someone who has an appt. that it should have taken the service dept. over 2 hours to complete the service. It’s about a 50 mile round trip for me and considering there is a North Star Chevy just a half mile from me. its hard for me to justify spending almost a half day when I could have went to North Star Chevy and had them take me home and pick me up when the service was completed.
If anyone is looking for a man to walk you smoothly through a car buying experience, look for Trevor Savage. He has made my experience sooo wonderful! I’ve looked into local dealerships, and the prices they were trying to give me were not only outrageous, but the salesmen themselves were very overbearing. I could tell they just wanted my money. Trevor wanted me to get everything that I wanted. His purpose wasn’t just to sell a car but to please the customer. He went above and beyond to help me from start to finish in the buying process of my first car, and is still helping me now as I have questions even after the purchase. His times are flexible, so I was able to make an appointment whenever I needed. He was always professional and knowledgeable with whatever I asked him. I have been very pleased with C Harper. Bought my car there and always have it serviced there. My husband has an older truck that had issues. Told him to try C Harper instead of local mechanic. Runs better. Maybe a little pricey but I feel it’s definately safe now. I trust C Harper.
From start to finish our sales experience from our recent visit was amazing. We hadnt planned to purchase a vehicle; our intent was only to turn in our Cadillac as the lease was expiring. The sales staff took the time to provide options that supported that we should purchase a vehicle at this time otherwise we would be losing money that could be used toward another vehicle. Ryan Miller, our salesperson took a great deal of time to explain our options and to help get us in the vehicle that would best suit our needs. There was never any pressure or pushing in the process which we truly appreciated and respected. When it came to settling on a sales price, C. Harper literally made us an offer we couldnt refuse. There was no haggling over the price; the sales team gave us their first best offer and we knew then that we were getting a great deal. C . Harper seems to understand that developing relationships and treating people fairly will make a satisfied customer who will share their favorable experience and will be a return customer in the future. Had my 09 GMC bought in for an Air Bag recall. Wendy the Advisor was professional and rates a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale. I used to work at C.Harper Back in 2000 when Dave Hall was the Service Manager and he was a rude, indignant hack and because of him I left your employ. Back in 2015 I leased a Honda from you which had multiple issues such as sudden acceleration, stalling and severe hesitation . If memory serves the Honda Service manager was Jeff who told me Casey and his managers were fully aware of the issues with the Honda Accord and if Honda could not fix the car I would get another Accord. That never happened. Jeff then left Honda and I remained ignored. I am retired and soon I will be in the market for a new vehicle. It wont be C. Harper. I am delighted you sent me this so I could finally comment about the Honda Fiasco!
Great experience very knowledgeable sales representative, super fast paperwork process, sadly limited selection due to current pandemic issues but thats not the fault of the dealer, they are doing everything possible to find the vehicle you want and make the best deal possible.
I called here about a 4 weeks ago to inquire about having a remote start put on my Cadillac. After doing my own research I knew that it was just ordering a new set of key fobs that had to be programmed to make the remote start work. Im guessing it was the receptionist that asked for my name and number and they would get back to me. A week later I call again because nobody called me back and again name and number and no call back. Couple days later I call and tell them I am not giving my name and number I want to talk to somebody. Finally talked to somebody, how hard was that. The transfer me to the parts department and the gentleman there was very helpful in finding the parts because GM didnt have any on stock but there was a set out west. He told me when they came in I would have to call service and schedule an appointment to have it installed. Parts guy called me told me they came in and I have tried to call service twice to schedule this and both times I was told I would get a call back. I would like to get this remote start installed before winter is over. Im about to go down and pay for the parts and just go to another GM dealer.Update: finally got a call back and it is scheduled to be done. Apparently they have a call center and messages are not getting to where they need to be

Stacey Short was my service advisor. She is extremely polite. She went over my alignment sheet and everything that was completed on my vehicle while I was there as well as calling me with an update throughout the day. Excellent Service. Greeted by at least two people every time you walk in!
Approximately 3 years ago leased a new Silverado, never had an issue, always serviced and inspected by Harper. Approximately 1 month ago, the lease expired and I turned it into Harper for a new lease on another Silverado. No problems making the deal and the price was right, then I get the whammy a whole month later. I received a letter from GMC that they had to replace the tires which werent that old, I replaced them approximately a year and a half ago. The bill was over 700.00. Excuse me for assuming that Harper inspected the vehicle which obviously they did not but their service department never seen a problem as late as last December. My warning is to potential customers pay attention and ask questions, I probably will not be returning to this dealer over this.Update, it has been about three weeks now since my wife contacted Harper in response to their request to talk about our problem with our previous lease. They requested a copy of the letter and stated they would investigate and get back to us. She told them to call anytime and if they needed anything else to call us, well, like I said, that was three weeks ago, never heard back, not really expecting it either, I changed my rating to 1 star and advise people to do their homework when leasing or buying from Harper. I will not buy there again not will I recommend them.Update number 2, incase if anyone was wondering, Harper has never contacted me regarding this issue. So I am stuck paying for a complete set of tires the truck didnt need. Apparently, this is what they pull when you turn in a lease, charge you for something. Best advice I can give is dont lease from them, and if you do document everything you replace and keep records. Never will return there, poor customer service and no follow up.
The dealership experience with great as long as the car holds up that stuff if thermostat thats been put in that car now I only want some you guys the other for I bought from Advance Auto and off forehead went out to as long as your thermostat hose up I will be a hundred percent happy customer
I took my truck for service on 06/13/19 and found that it needs a new wheel. I paid for the new wheel that had to be ordered and a new valve kit. They called me to get the new wheel put on my truck. I was then charged for another valve kit—same part number—for another $15.87 plus sales tax. I have called them a couple times wanting a refund check. They made offers of a free service which I declined. I won’t be needing service for several months. All that I wanted was a refund check which they are refusing to send me. I won’t go back there. They have a piss-poor way of doing business.
The initial problem, ECM, was repaired but car was returned with features no longer working or missing; e.g., no gear shift indicator, doors do not lock when ignition is started or unlock when turned off, auto headlights do not turn on or off.A very different experience than the first visit ...
We love our Chevy Equinox! Joseph was very personable and a knowledgeable salesman! We hadnt planned to purchase a vehicle the Saturday we set off on our day, but we ended up at C. Harper. I purchased a New 2013 Chevy Equinox in Ashen Gray Metallic color. I LOVE IT! I had beyond excellent service! I dealt with Whitey Callahan and he went to great lengths to try to get us into what we want and the finance team did all they could to make it happen. We are more than pleased with our purchase and our service. I have posted on my social networking sites, who we purchased with and have been telling everyone I know to get down there to get a vehicle from C Harper as soon as possible.

2022-02-11I had the best experience at C.Harper with sales rep Reggie Little. Not only was he knowledgeable and personable, he treated me with respect ( hard to find nowadays). Everything was explained to me and all my questions answered (no fluff) about the 2015 Chevy Sonic I was interested in. I highly recommend Reggie if you’re in the market for a new/used vehicle. I’d also like to say that the rest of the staff treated me well too. The car is in tip top shape and was nicely detailed. Everything that was needed done to make sure the car was safe and mechanically sound was done. Some nice perks came with it too such as a free oil change, free inspections and a 3 month/30,000 mile power train warranty. Not bad for a 2015 vehicle. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed.

2022-02-12Took my car here for service after the power steering went and I needed it repaired and a couple other things along with a state inspection. C Harper found a whole list of things that needed repaired to up the cost of my repairs. By the end my total was well over a thousand dollars as they kept changing the final price and list of repairs. They called and told me my car was ready and completed. Showed up and paid the amount just to find out they did not finish the repairs they charged me for and actually lied. Did not complete the repairs we asked them to do and did not inspect the car like they said they were doing. DO NOT recommend C Harper to anyone for purchases or repairs. Complete garbage service, you’re better off going to a junkyard with the way they treat their customers at this pathetic excuse for a business. All they do is lie and overcharge to pocket the money for themselves. Overall the WORST experience/service I’ve ever had with my vehicle anywhere.

2022-04-14I usually go to C Harper for my vehicle and just had it there in December 2021 for oil and tire rotation. Did not realize that my inspection was due in February. It would have been appreciated if an employee would have seen when the inspection was due and say, do you want us to do the inspection while your vehicle is here? But no that did not happen and since plates and inspections don’t have to match anymore I did not realize I was out of compliance until end of March. At least I didn’t get a ticket over it.This is just something that would be appreciated since vehicle maintenance is one of your specialties.

2022-01-24Front axle seal was leaking on my truck. My truck was a couple thousand miles out of warranty so I was expecting that this would’ve been work that I would’ve had to pay for. Fortunately the service advisor called me and said that they had contacted GM on my behalf and ask GM if they would cover some of the work being it was so close to being out of warranty. GM agreed. I was pleasantly surprised. C. Harper went above and beyond and did this for me. Great job

2022-05-26From making the appointment with Elaina DIBIASI to the service representative Stacey everyone was courteous, kind & helpful. The car required a lot of work & Stacey kept us informed while the mechanics quickly performed the repairs. I am thankful they were able to repair the car in my time restraints & feel safe driving the car now.

2022-06-22My dad took his car here was very pleased with the work. It helped alot that they had a shuttle to get you home and back to get your car. He really liked that they call you a few days later to see if everything is ok with your car. Very professional.

From the initial contact with the internet specialist to Jason and Jeff, the salesman, we were always kept in the loop and treated respectfully. The transaction was seamless. Jeff even called and texted my husband (on his day off) when he was traveling back home to make sure all was well. They were up front and fair with their pricing, and work cohesively as a team. We were more than impressed!

2022-06-20Had to post this after i read they received the Torch Award for integrity and ethics they must only pick and choose which customers ,for sure not out of state buyers. I was greeted with we are not going to ever do this again , sell to out of state and for sure dont use a GM discount because i was told he wasnt making any money off me only credit for selling a car. i could go on but they dont care. only saying give your money to someone who cares that you do, hoping you come back
