I have been searching for a place to buy a car that will deal with my poor credit. I really wanted a Ford Explorer. What a shady used car place. I mean if you have any pre conceived notions about a used car place, this is it. I was told that they use only ONE credit bureau. But as I sat there I got alerts that all 3 of mine were pulled. So if they lied about that what else do they lie about? I have scores in the mid 700s yet my rate for financing was 8.9. We got up and left. If you deal with these folks make sure you ask many many questions. The vehicle we were looking at was sold and bought at auction several times. All I have to say is, not today Satan. Shawn was great. Too bad he works there.
Youll have to be careful when you go to carspot to buy a car you need to take a professional mechanic so he can look under the car and see how much rust is actually underneath the car I got a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder Le from them October 26th of 2019 Im driving down the highway doing 60 miles an hour in the whole control arm broke right off so you need to check and watch what youre buying definitely not a good place to buy any car they only there to make their money they dont care about nothing else
I came here with my Aunt, and Sean was very helpful!! He was making sure my aunt was comfortable and made sure she found a vehicle that was everything that she needed and wanted. Here is a free tip. When a potential customer calls asking about a specific type of vehicle, snickering and laughing about their request is a MAJOR turn off. I inquired about a manual truck and was told/asked, you must be calling for someone else, this vehicle isnt for you right? When I asked, whys that? the response I got was that I sounded young and young people dont like to drive manuals. First of all, you know nothing about how old I am or about what type of vehicles I drive. But, I know that I would NEVER want to purchase a vehicle from someone with that type of attitude. YUCK! When I bought my first stick car 10 years ago, the sales associate never once questioned my age or ability to drive it. He instead was impressed by how the car handled on the test drive, not having driven a manual himself in quite a while. Try snickering at potential buyers less and listen to what they are asking about with some degree of professionalism. I wouldnt be asking about a manual truck if I couldnt drive it.
Sold me a vehicle with a messed up ECM and a messed up catalytic converter and bad motor oil , shredded wiring, engine not mounted properly, a whole missing cover to something missing. 9k for this car and now 3k later just on repairs which was denied by their warranty. Buyers beware they talk a good game but sell you vehicles for too much money that need repaired!
I bought a Dodge Ram pickup from this dealer almost a year ago and the dealer never held to the signed warranty. I had the issues with the truck fixed(which I was never told about)when I bought it, and the signed agreement was I would be covered for 50 percent of the issues and the dealer just won’t call me back. I have called asking for Sam and they just say they will call me back. They are now avoiding my calls. I do not recommend this dealer!
Worse place to purchase a car! PLEASE I REPEAT DONOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE. I bought my 2011 Chevy traverse in March, within a week i need my water pump replace. Came to them, they fix it. 2 months later in the middle of a hot summer, my A.C went bad. I’m a mother of 3. Can you imagine? Went without a.c for the rest of the summer. In August 2020, my car went bad again, this time, it was the timing chain. Today, i have no engine! 10k in this car and i had it for less then 1 year.
If you like to be robbed and have your car break down, this is the place for you. Boy were we duped. We bought a 2001 gold Town and Country Chrysler van only to have all electrical, tires and brakes go. The car was suppose to be in great shape and be newly inspected. We found out they work with the place next store who just put stickers on the car and never actually inspected it. We could have got killed. Also not to mention the cost to fix everything. Please be aware of this place.I would also now like to take a moment to respond to the message car spot wrote me. My husband Matt Cariola purchased this car at the Car spot soon after you opened and we were really excited when we came in, we trusted you and Paid in full. We live two blocks away. This car was purchased here! Our car was scrapped and donated this year as we could no longer afford repairs or put any more money into it. I do not and would not ever write reviews on anyone or any place that are made up. These are 100% facts, truths and my honest feelings. So you can recheck your records and facts. This car and your dealership were nothing but a expensive nightmare for us. We went back to you several times to address this issue as soon as it happened. Only to be fast talked to,lied to and had no good outcome. I dont appreciate being threatened by you. This is Just another example of how you handle things like you did with our car. I will not remove my review and i can only hope that my review will make someone think twice about buying a car here.
Purchased a Subaru Forester Car runs really well and Im extremely happy with purchase. They were negotiable on the price and I feel like I got a really amazing deal that fit my budget. Also gave me a low quote on insurance. Overall very happy with my truck. Will go back there in the spring to buy something newer for my wife. Eli the owner is a very nice man, easy to talk to.
Do yourself a favor and do not buy a car here. Do not let Larry lie his way to your wallet lol terrible pushy impatient salesmen. ALL ignorant crooks. They do not check these cars out with a mechanic or get inspections done before selling vehicles. SOMEONE SHOULD REPORT THEM TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. LOST $2,000 that i currently disputed cause they could have had me killed in an accident. gave the car back after 48 hours. GARBAGE DEALERSHIP. CROOKS.
Brian was hardworking and helpful. Dan was pleasant and personable . However , had problems with car immediately . 1st heating unit which they fixed and thank you . Next a more costly problem which Sam the manager initially denied . They later fixed the car using MY personal warranty and paying the deductible. I was without my newly purchased car and taking Uber’s and renting cars for 2 weeks out of the first month that I purchased it! Driving fine now but NOT worth the time ,$, stress. They obviously don’t check these cars out sufficiently. They just take whatever the auction has I guess.
What I thought wouldve been a great deal for my little family and I, ended up to be the worse. I put so much money into this vehicle after I purchased it! And now, I have no vehicle at all, and it hasnt even been a full year. What a damn shame. I do not recommend this dealership. Save yourself your money, headache and stress!
These guys are a class act......bought a beautiful chevy Malibu from . Here...small problems fixed with out question at no cost. Gaurenteed to fix thecommon problem for the make and model for the life of the loan. Really went above an beyond. Even gave me a rental during the repair. Truly makes the customer feel important as family. Great service awesome staff. Even gave me my first 20$ in my gas tank. Highly recommended u do business with these guys
I received a call about the car I was interested and asked when I could make the trip NE from West Philly/ University City. I said I would start heading there now after getting ready. An Uber would have been about $37 so I took an Enterprise share car. I’m glad I did so I could leave at leisure.I got there a little bit after an hour since I spoke to the salesman on the phone. The person said he had to run with another customer and pawns me off on another salesman intent upon a cigarette break. When asked about the car in question he casually stated that the car was sold almost an hour ago. It seems a small operation with a few sales people should be able to communicate this major detail and notify if not each other than imperatively the customer. Mistakes do happen I guess.What followed seemingly was the old bait and switch, “we have this other car here”. The pushy salesman was suggested many other options which I shot down most of. I had a specific car in mind and knew what I wanted and could afford budget wise and with insurance. The second salesman would wave off these measures and proceeded to suggest more on the lot. For one thing he didn’t seem as knowledgeable and mostly just trying to get a car sale and impervious to my “clean car record” specifications/ price/ color.Before I left, the owner in his office said they would look for and probably pick up a car at an auction and contact me that week. I have not heard from them since, probably to my relief. Just goes to show the reliability from the top down or bottom up at Car Spot. Needless to say they wasted my time, and hopefully this review doesn’t waste yours. 1 star, because Google requires at least one for me to post this, apparently.
I brought a 2005 Dodge Dakota from these wonderful people and there were Three small problems. they were taken care of with absolutely no trouble within 3 days!!! they were honest they help me with my financing! I have dealt with a lot of small car dealers in my day and when theres a problem there was always some sort of trouble!! with these guys there was no trouble! when I traded in my car they gave me a fair price for it, and let me take the old cap off my pickup truck and help me put it on the new one!! little things like that mean a lot to me so I give them 5 stars!!

These guys take the cake when it comes to being a very dishonest dealership. I bought my truck on eBay and went to look at it the next day. That first thing the guy tells me is that the windshield is all cracked up and they would give me $150 off because of that. The listing on eBay said that the tires had 50% tread but in reality they were almost bald. It was listed as a “non-smoker” vehicle but it’s obvious they masked the smoke smell by using a strong carpet shampoo because several days later, the smoke smell is very evident. The one fog light didn’t work and was half full of water. There were several pieces inside the cab that were either broken or missing and the only excuse the guy would give is “ hey, it’s a used truck.” I told him that they were very dishonest and misleading by listing the truck the way they did and I was able to get him to take $450 off of what I had bid up to on eBay but he wouldn’t go a penny more. I told him that it is going to take a lot more than $450 to fix the truck up to the condition that it had been listed in but he wouldn’t hear a word of it. I finally decided to purchase the truck and while I was in the office doing the paperwork, at one point 2 guys came in and were all but yelling at me trying to convince me that they were right and I was wrong. I was so glad to finally get out of there but 20 minutes down the road, the check engine light comes on and the engine starts acting strange. I text the sales person about it and he never replied. Complete rip offs… I don’t know how these guys stay in business while being so dishonest but I will never go back to them.
I was impressed with their professional treatment. I got a great deal. The dealer worked with me and I got a deal I liked with a low interest rate. Their pre-owned cars are in such excellent condition, I couldnt the new cars from the pre-owned. My warmest and sincere thank you to all the guys: Dan, Brian, John, and Eli.
Recently purchased a 2014 Accord. My experience with this dealer was exactly what I am looking for when in the market for a vehicle. Bryan was exceedingly helpful, offering options to help me meet my budget requirements while making sure I ended up with the car I desired. Sami went out of his way to provide a no-pressure experience, working with me to come to an agreement that was beneficial to me, which is much more than I can say about the other dealers I met with. Even my limited dealings with the other employees at this dealership was a positive experience. Each continued to provide quality customer service, making sure my needs were met in a helpful and jovial atmosphere. Next time you are shopping for an automobile, do yourself a favor and contact these guys first, save yourself the headache of dealing with less-than-savory individuals who place their own interests above yours.
Wish i could leave a 0. you could probably buy a safer car from a 5 year old. They laugh at their clients after they deal with car trouble within days. Warrant? BS. Their cars are auction cars that they fail to inspect legally before letting you drive off you your death. Dont pay in cash. lol they talk about a credit card fee when processing which does not exist. They want you to pay in cash so you cannot dispute anything. Contact BBB. This business is a bunch of cons. FRAUDS. MY CAR BROKE DOWN IN 30 MINS OF HAVING IT AND I WAS ALMOST IN A WRECK DUE TO NEGLIGENCE. FRAUD COMPANY! CROOKS. I which I can give them a BIG FAT 0, this is the worst place you can buy a vehicle. My boyfriend purchased a car with them and less than 3 week he had to go back three times to repair it. Two out of the three, my boyfriend had to pay out of pocket for the repairs. PLEASE DO NOT BUY A CAR AT THIS PLACE.
Wonderful people such a great experience of buying a car. Went to two dealerships today 7/22/2017got turned down with credit score of 513. I lost hope, stopped at carspot within in an hour I got an approval with low car payment and low down payment. Got myself a Nisan Altima with 25k miles couldnt believe still. These people are the real deal would recommend anyone. Thank you carspot!
Car advertised as “smooth transmission” and all electronics working....We bought this car through ebay and flew in to get it after talking to Gary about it several times. I drove it to the corner to get gas and the air conditioner didn’t work, turned around - he said it was a simple fix but he didn’t have a mechanic....my husband told him we had a 1400 mike trip to get home...we were told absolutely nothing was wrong with truck except the step on the drivers side. So far, the transmission stumbles from 2nd to 3rd, sun roof was open and won’t tilt back down, check engine light came on after 35 miles, driver’s seat electronic adjustments don’t work and AC is broken. We discovered these things on the way home to another state. When we called, he said “too bad”....DO NOT buy a vehicle from this scam artist!!! He does NOT disclose problems he had to have known about! I did not work with Eli but with GARY....make SURE you check the car out thoroughly before purchasing!
I just moved to Pennsylvania from Hawaii 30 days ago.... Honestly my credit wasnt so great.... Dan the sales manager really helped me a lot ....within 24 hrs he had me approved and driving....It was a really good car buying experience. .. They even found me a really good insurance company and set everything up so the only thing I had to do was drive off in my new vehicle. ...
Very Happy with my experience with this dealership. was in the market for a small Gas efficient Sedan as I was starting school up in Allentown. came to Carspot they had a very good selection of vehicles both expensive and in the lower range, which is what I needed. test drove a 2007 Hyundai Elantra and fell in love. we worked out the payment price and I drove off in less then 2 hours. Good Experience, Even bought me Lunch Across the Street from a Restaurant to be nice while I was waiting for an Insurance Quote..They earned my business.
I truly enjoy this car company. I needed to get a very reliable car quickly, so I purchased a car from them before and I was in and out in 2 hours, approved and all. The car didnt last that long, not on them, it was low priced, so I went back. I got a great car that I truly enjoy. I did buy the navi kit, I didnt care because I ordered the updated maps. Sam and Mike are great, and seem to be an award winning team.
Bought a car 4 months ago. Within the first week the ac stopped working. They sent me to their guy to fix it. ( Abbys auto )Made an appointment with him 3 times in a week and he never showed. I gave up, after 2 months of having my car an inspection was due, Im sure I was suppose to just get new stickers since I just purchased this car but that wasnt the case. They wanted to charge me. So I get the car inspected just to find out my car failed and needs over $700 worth of work done😡. Just save your time and money, dont go here!
Purchased a BMW and had problems with it since the day I pulled off the lot. The salesman are manipulative and coercive. I attempted to communicate with them regarding the car issues and they were not responsive. This is THE WORST car buying experience I have had in my life. I do not recommend using car spot at all.
For any one Who is like me a regular joe . I have no knowledge what so ever in car functionality beside the exterior of the car .I need some one I can trust . And when you go to a dealer you can’t trust them , that what people say . A dealer will sell you what he has on the lot , regardless if the car is good or not .all they care is moneterry profits . And to my surprise that was not the case with the car spot dealership. As soon I walked in , I was greated buy a sales person white a brite smile who’s name was Elly . ( later on I-found out he was the owner ) he talked to me with a cum rilexin voice that made me cumftable . We walked true the tens of cars that were on the premises. And any car I found interesting ,he gave me a detailed explanation. I can write a long description about my wonderful experience I had there .So the conclusion of my visit was I drove out with a wonderful feeling , and a great car .in short who ever wants to buy a great car and experience great service CAR SPOT is my recommendation. I won a 2002 Toyota 4runner on ebay. had my rental car all set and all packed to go to Philadelphia for the day to pick it up. I called the ebay seller to let him know the time Id be down there to get it. He did not answer his phone. So instead, I called the dealership. Because you know, if a car is at the dealership, then they should probably know about everything going on, even ebay stuff. The guy who picked up told me he would go check to see if noon was ok. As I waited on the phone, for about five minutes in silence, I heard him and other car dealership guys laughing and chatting about ebay. When he came back he said, very quickly, in a condescending voice, Youre all set for noon tomorrow, congratulations and promptly hung up on me. I had gotten a call back from the original ebay seller, a Russian man whose name I was never given, who I told about the rude dealership guy. This Russian guy then went on to yell at me for a few minutes about how I should not be contacting the dealership, but him instead and then ended with So when will you pick up the car to which I stated I wont. Bye and hung up. heres a bit of advice. If youd like to sell a car and get good reviews, be kind. Dont be rude to a young woman who didnt do anything. Good luck.

Worst car dealer I ever dealt with. Looked at 6 cars all had issues they dont want to give you a warranty they only have 2 guys to help you. they advertised $500 down all over the internet and when you go there its much more. Most of the cars listed on the web site are already sold. They dont fix the cars until after you buy it.
It makes me sick to even give this place a one star. I hate to be unprofessional but Dumb, Dumber, and Dumbest havent the slightest clue on what it takes to transfer a car title. It took me over 5 weeks to receive the title and get the vehicle registered. When they paid off the balance on the car they didnt get the proper POA for both owners of the vehicle. Hell I dont even think they realized the car had two owners per one of my conversations. It took me 4 trips to get everything resolved and mind you i was driving from over an hour away. They promised theyd order car mats for the vehicle which took over 5 weeks after constantly having to call them, they finally caved in to order and deliver them to my house. Long story short i wouldnt wish my worst enemy to have to deal with suck individuals.
Portray themselves as honest reputable but the minute that car leaves the lot theyre all busy playing with rubber bands at their desks to to hold up their end of the warranties they would take my car keep it for 1to 3 days just sitting on the lot then call *& say cars all ready on the drive home I realized they were just stalling to let the warranty run out if only I could give no stars be careful dont trust them AT ALL!!

Very happy with my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Came in looking for a 4x4 for my family since our old blazer met its demise :(. Excellent experience the staff was friendly and the finance manager worked for almost 2 hours to get me the best payment available when 2 other dealerships didnt really want to deal with me because i have a credit score in the low 500s .I am hoping this jeep will last me for seversl good years. So overall great experience they also gave me a free carfax report. My only advice is maybe try to get sn extra salesman because i noticed you guys were busy and there was a couple near me waiting for a salesman.
The guys here are very rude! You should never be rude in a business ESPECIALLY to a woman! Totally not right. ALSO good luck buying a car here! Be ready to bring it right back with issues! Money is to valuable to waste on a crap car and bad attitude. Take your business elsewhere if you know whats good for you!
Trust me not worth your time or hard earn money. Sold junker to my family and tried to play it off. Any of these used car lots are just Hucksters. Just be honest with your customers and if you don’t know what your selling get out the business.

Scammers. Sold me a total hoopty. They clear the check engine light with a OBD2 tool. Once you drive the car two driving cycles, be ready for the check engine light to come on. My car came up with 8 codes. Spent over $4,000 to get it fixed. They also hid a bunch of other stuff from me.
I had some real credit issues after my divorseAnd was turned down at 3 other dealers but these guys got me into a really nice suv at a payment i could handel...much thanks to dan and sam they were reall great...TY CAR SPOT I WOULD DEFINETLY RECOMNEND YOU GUYS!!

I bought a 2010 Mercedes Benz with about 83,000 miles on it I’ve had the vehicle for probably about 3 1/2 months now I’ve had multiple issues with the tires and the tire pressure sensors the check engine light is been on the week after I got it it says mass airflow sensor failure the car shuts off sometimes it won’t turn back on I have to go under the hood and unhook the battery and mess around with it all the tires Leak air they didn’t fix some of the issues they said they would fix from the beginning I was told that I would get a warrantee I have no warranty they did something with a check that they hold for the state for the taxes and I was told I would be told when they are going to withdraw it from my account I was not told and I had to drive to Harrisburg and pay it and a penalty if it rains hard enough right above my door leaks water the car was fine for one week and then it just started to fall apart I bought this vehicle because the person that work there knew I was in need of a vehicle because my other vehicle has been in the shop getting work done because it has problems as well it looks like I’ve opened another can of worms I’m just exhausted and tired of dealing with car issues and being screwed over I hope they read this and reach out to me and fix their problems as I have referred multiple people there to buy other vehicles within the first month if they want to fix things I would continue to refer people to them b

Simply put- they will tell you whatever to get you in the car. They screw up on paperwork they wont return calls or pick up when your placed on hold. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
I had the worst experience with this place very unprofessional I had the car for no more than a month and the car was acting up my car sat at there for 2 1/2 weeks because it was suppose to get worked on and they never worked on the Vehicle I called every day just to be told someone would call me back with information and no one NEVER called me back I would never buy a car from them nor would I recommend anyone to buy a car from here 👎🏽

Horrible dealer ship check engine light came on 6 days after purchase took it back to be fixed only to have check engine light come back and to find out I need oil pump and catalytic converters done I have a warranty with them Nd they are suppose to pay for half the repairs and they are refusing

I bought a car from car spot,and I had a wonderfull service the people were nice and respectful.and I will recommend it to all off my friends.
They told me that they charged me 9,995$ for the car I bought but when I called the Finance Company that I got the loan through two days later they had informed me that they charged me $11,500 before taxes and on top of that I found paperwork from a previous owner in the car that I bought from another person who bought that same car two weeks prior to me buying it and the person informed to me that they had major engine problems just like I was having so this dealership clearly knew that the car had major problems and still sold it to me

2022-03-30Went here to buy a suv they sold us a lemon. We paid 10,000 didn’t have the suv for more than a week when it started showing signs of a bad transmission 2 weeks later check engine light came on , than we got it diagnosed twice and without a doubt it has a bad transmission they told us we can’t have a refund and they won’t exchange the vehicle we’re just out of 10,000 dollars I would not recommend

2022-03-25Horrible, I bought a car from them with the help of Larry in Aug 2020 and been having problems ever since. I even had to bring the car bk 2 wks after buying it because of a loud banging when I drive. Eli had them fix it, I was ok for like 2months and went to my mechanic to fix my low control. They are crooks and Im not gonna bother calling them, Im about to see if I can get me a lemon lawyer

2022-03-31Sold me a BMW just before the pandemic hit, told me they would fix all of the problems with the car. After the lock down FROM THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC they told me that they are no longer responsible to fix a car I bought that long ago!!! I was also accused of spilling coffee in the car when that did NIT happen!!! The previous owner must have spilled coffee which is why the idrive knob and radio/DVD/Nav didn’t work. They never checked/ cleaned the car (I found weed in the ashtray) and on top of all of that they only gave me 500.00 for my Mercedes convertible trade-in (no accidents) and I was over charged for the car I bought. I understand that I fell for a predatory car deal (the car was listed for 6999.00 or so… I was charged 10,000.00 And with interests it was even higher). But the worst part of it all is being stuck with having to get it fixed on my own!!! I talk to LOTS of people about buying cars and I will be sure to always tell anyone that will listen… STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!P.S. Did I mention that they will stick with their lies!!! Even to this day they are STILL lying about this situation!!! Do yourself a favor and purchase your vehicle ANYWHERE BUT CarSpot!!! Worst experience I’ve EVER had!!!

2021-10-20Horrible experience. These guys sell you a dream, show you pictures and the car NEVER came in... Been waiting 2weeks for a car to come in. Sold me on pics.. Still no car. Dont trust them. They kept saying oh the mechanic... Also spoke to one guy about another car. He said come in, its here. I get there its SOLD. And its still on the website. They SHADY, dont stop keep moving.

2021-07-14I was messaging with Tony about a trailer for sale. We agreed on a price. I said we would pick up next day. He said that was fine. We rented a truck so we could tow the trailer to where we would keep it and began driving there (45 minutes away from our home). We called to confirm our pick up appointment and were told the trailer had already been sold. I am disappointed that it was sold but I understand thats business. Someone came in and had cash in hand. Im angry because no one let us know it was sold. A simple message would have sufficed. We could have canceled our rental, not left work early and not started driving up in rush hour traffic.A simple message saying the trailer was sold to someone else would have saved a lot of aggravation (and money we spent renting a truck with a hitch). We could have canceled the rental with no charge.

2022-03-31Great experience very recommended if you looking the best service this is the place for youI purchased my work van after looking everywhere for months and I culdnt found anything than I heard about car spot google them And saw not that many good reviews wich I found Hurd to believe after fact because my experience was completely different for the good side of itThe guys working there are very polite professionals at what they do and my van was working excellentI had after 3 month a problem with my radiator I called them they invite me there and help me to fix it with actually half of the price that everyone else asked me I also got my brothers to buy cars from them and they very happy as wellThe owner was very nice and give me all the details I needed before I make any decision thank you very much car spot you deserve 6 stars but I can only put five so thank you 🙏
