Yes they may have your parts but the customer service is poor and rude and disrespectful I waiting my van for an hour no one came to van to get me and then told staff that I was not there and then when I went in to find out what was happening the Lady at the front desk was rude and I feel if I was White I would have been treated better. They have no regard to black and brown people they service I can take money somewhere else
I recently purchased a motor from them on Monday, for 1100 dollars! Was told that it would be pulled Tuesday/Wednesday. No call by Thursday of the same week an desired day of pick up from a whole state away, I was told waiting for the yard guy will get a call back. After 3.5 hrs and three calls later I’m told the motor was no good. However they were very respectful and effortlessly sending the money back into the account I just wish I was notified sooner. They stood by not allowing pick up from a second party due to payment an theft concerns which made me happy and willing to do continuous business due to Shops location of installation. The ball was dropped and I was left very dissatisfied I truly hope for future buyers this problem is rectified.
By far the worst company Ive ever dealt with they dont get back to you they dont put parts on time they lie to you and that specifically to JT talks back curses you out and acts all tough and gangster over the phone please try to avoid this company and dont get or order any parts from this compa.
Do not go here to spend your money! Rude Caucasian lady with no manners works the desk and appears to be upset that she does. There were three people just standing there. Hello I need some assistance!! I will NEVER spend my money here. If you do I hope your experience is better. There are at least 20 more junk yards in the area with more pleasant people. Do yourself a favor and spend your money where it is appreciated. Good luck!
Biggest waste of timeI called before I came he said they had the part I need. Once I got there they said I had to wait for somebody to take me back to where the car was, I waited one hour for someone to tell me I had to go through the other entrance. They then told me on the other entrance that I had to go back to the other side. Pretty much an hour and a half of back-and-forth and they didn’t even have the part. You’d be better off just ordering the used part off at eBay then to deal with these people .
BUYER BEWARE! PLEASE READ. First off, I don’t leave bad reviews; so please understand the extent to how much it matters that you read this. Just know that the good reviews on this site are bogus. They give a small discount to anyone who leaves a 5-star review and shows them at the counter. ONLY THE 1-STAR REVIEWS ARE LIKELY REAL.I drove 3 hours from NYC, verifying multiple times before taking off work and paying the $60 in tolls and $20 in gas for the 6 hour round trip to find that the items I had come for did not exist.The employees had no remorse, not even willing to look at me when I came in to complain, and I was told separately by another worker that over HALF of the people that come in have the same experience, some of these coming from all over the US (I was told some as far as Ohio and Florida). I should’ve known something was wrong when I called and heard the employee who answered screaming and cussing at a customer in their lobby, probably over the same thing that happened to me.After, the owner gave me a sticky note and told me to go to another shop where they would have my car part. Another lie. The shop wasn’t open, and there was no part.This place is the stuff of nightmares, and after frantically going from shop to shop around all the other part stores in the area, they all knew them by name.They should be closed and sued for damages for all the money, time, and fraudulent advertising they conduct. Me? I’m out $80 and disappointed that a place like this exists.
This Place is a scam.. They are liars. They will take your money and then feed you lies about when your parts will be ready.. And then 3 weeks later tell you that the part is unavailable. DO NOT PAY THEM UNTIL YOU GET YOUR PART. They will not issue you a full refund and tell you some stories about how these charges are transaction fees that they wont refund.
My first time at Cartel was today. The Employees are knowledgeable, work at a fast pace and very helpful. If they dont have the part you need, they will let you know who does at the best price. I highly recommend that you try them, you will not be disappointed. Staci delivered awesome service.
I wish I could give zero stars! This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Stacy is rude, sarcastic, aggressive and ignorant! She must really be a miserable person because no way someone who was happy with themselves would speak to customers the way she does. READ ALL THE REVIEWS, do not be fooled by the overall star rating. There are so many people who wrote that they had the same experience. First, they sent the wrong transmission to my mechanic. Then to top it off, Stacy was nasty about HER MISTAKE. Buyer beware. Not worth the aggravation.
I called before coming , asked if they had a silver Scion tC door for sale and they said yeah. Drove 45 minutes there to pick it up and when I got there they said wait out front we will bring it out. After an hour of waiting, they told me they junked the car and don’t have it anymore. This place is awful and the employees are ignorant
Always make you wait a long time. Been there 3-4 times and I always call before I go, they assure me that the part is there and in great shape, when I get there the part is damage, different color, always something and i have to sit there for at least 30 mins. The lady inside super rude. They dont care about people’s business. Never again with these clowns
I own a mobile mechanic business. Sometimes my customers would like to explore the idea of procuring used parts. I have tried to go to Cartels on several occasions. I have had many bad experiences from one of there employees trying to fight me to the dirty little girl in the fron carrying on about how they don’t sell hoses and small accessories. However the do if you are buying a larger Item like a radiator. The truth is that they like to insult there customers especially the Girl upfront. They like to insult there customers and make fun and pick fights more then they like to help there customers. The only reason why I even went back is because of one employee named Jose. Even the manager is a joke. Please if you are the owner and you see this. Please I promise you from one business owner to the next you should fire the lot of them. If you don’t I can see you going out of business in the not so distant future. There are just too many choices out there and with social media today the way it is. These people have no respect for anyone not even themselves just look at how they dress for work.
I needed a rim for my sons car, and was able to check Cartels inventory on-line before I made the trip from West Chester. I also called and confirmed they had the right wheel with Joe C. When I got there, they were busy despite the rain, but still I was able to get my order in with Joe after a reasonable time. Pete then drove me through the lot looking for a Ford Focus with the right style and size rim. One was found and Pete then called for a huge forklift to pick the car up to remove the wheel and tire. All told the visit was about 40 minutes, but for $81 including tax, I got a perfect wheel AND a good tire, since that was needed also. I easily saved over $150 if I had gone to a retailer. It was a neat experience and the Cartel staff were very helpful. No complaints here!
Not a great experience. They have two locations( one where you pull your own part and the second where you get the part already pulled out). My experience at their location where you get the part already pulled was not so great. Stacy the lady was kind of rude with most of the customers and made everyone filling uncomfortable. There is a heavy smell of cigaret in the office, so if you are a nonsmoker be aware. Kids under 18 are not allowed.
I would not even put one star for this junk yard!!!! the worst service you can ever get!!! ordered parts from them not a first time, every time they give you hard time. They will send you bad part then the will tell you either you can not get your money back, or they dont want to pick it up! they will promise you one thing and they will just lie to you! Please never order any parts from them, they not good people to work with!!!! because you will stuck with this bad part for forever, waste your time and money!!!!! especially lady that works there she is so rude, that i never heard anyone more rude then her, and their boss is the same way, not trying to keep customers happy!!!!
I called prior to going to see if they had my part in stock. Only to get there and it wasnt 😡😡. The girl who answers the phone is rude as she will hang up on you! While there I observed other customers upset because they were given misinformation as well. One man said I can buy it brand new for cheaper than that!. The only good thing I have to say is the guys who work in the yard are patient and knowledgeable. He was apologetic and really tried to find my part. The wait wasnt bad for going out to look for the part.
THEYRE OPEN SUNDAYS!!!!! Very convenient hours, 7 days a week. The men who assisted me with purchasing and pulling my parts were very friendly, speedy, and extremely helpful. The prices were great for the items I needed. The pull yard was well put together also. Cars were organized and accessible from all angles. I will be back the next time I need any parts for my car. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this yard to anyone who needs parts and youre close to Philly.
Let me start by saying... Staci has got it going on! From the second she answered my call she found the part I was looking for and has someone get it for me in a matter of minutes. She’s one of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with especially at a junk yard where they basically hang up on you after they say “hello”. She reminds me of wonder women, natural leader. I will now be strictly using Cartel for my Auto needs.
Liars! Said they had a part to my car. Was very specific what it needed and make and model of vehicle. Waited 3 hrs they gave me the part of another vehicle which didnt fit mine. Said they had it from another car, waited another hour, didnt have it. They are extremely slow and liars- not a good combination!
Business is very rude. Purchased a part for my car that they assured me would fit and it does not fit. Went through a whole day of hassle with them and they would not let me return it. Lady on the phone was extremely rude and sarcastic. Very shady business to purchase from. A bunch of sloppy people. Very dissappointed

The customer service is trash over the phone, this one guy answered the phone rude and hung up on me because I wanted to reassure that they had the part I needed. If you hate your job then QUIT! Dont be rude to the people thats helping your business stay afloat.
I called about a part they stated they had. Went to get it and they never find it.THE MAJOR PROBLEM: I waited and waited, was sent outside this winter to find it. They were then supposed to look it up and I kept having to wait between customers. Probably 45-hour later before they look the part up for me and send me away.THEN OTHER PEOPLES PROBLEM:Theres 2 guys there who both were complaining that they were giving them wrong prices or wrong parts.-One guy got half of what he paid for then wasnt able to get all his money back and already had half the part, so he was stuck. Meanwhile the sales clerk is saying sly comments about the guy being upset.-The other guy was getting higher price estimates on parts he requested and given the runaround about what he needed.I just say and listened to see if I wanted to continue business with them. Nope.They said they were family owned... hmm.
I wasnt going to write A review but after seeing how other people had the same experience as I did then Im here to write mine. I called in to ask for 5th Gen. Camaro parts and the lady said no and hung up on me. Like dayam not even a goodbye or Im sorry we dont have the part? Or hell even have a good day? And that was with a simple thing. I cant imagine with something more serious.
They wont tell you color or info on the cars they have. So you have to wait in line outside for someone to drive you back to look. No info is given to you just wait. Turns out they have one person to take you out to the field of cars. Not a good way to run a business. You waste your time waiting when you could find your parts somewhere else.
It took over a month before they told me they didnt have my part after telling me it would be available after 5 business days. Eventually I got tired of waiting and demanded a refund which over another month to get to me! Mind you this is with me going back and forth with them about where my part was and then where my money was and lots of lies. Major waste of time and money
Worst junk yard I ever visited!Save yourself some time and go to more reputable place! Called in for parts, I was told they had it and will be removed from the car next day and I can pick it up tomorrow, I called them to make sure and they stated they need more time, so I came on third day and they said that they never had that car that I needed the parts of. So he sent me right across the street saying his neighbors got it, the answer was no we dont have it and the guy named Joe always sends his customers to us whenever he messes up.Avoid this place and the salesman Joe!
Customer service is terrible. The management/ ownership dont know the first thing about really taking care of customers. They have no balance with there labor, the front staff should be crossed trained to help pull parts instead they would rather have customers wait an hour just to go see if the part is available. Today they had only 4 guys to pull parts and there were at least 10 other workers in/ out of the office area some doing nothing. The owner/ manager was eating while I and 6-10 other customers waited for help. After 30 mins of waiting just to get help I asked the owner how much longer it would be he replied what do you want me to do. I will never visit the location again!!! Unfortunately that wont cause them to change there customer service procedures, because they are a business of necessity. With some customer service changes they could really grow this business to even higher revenue.
EXTREMELY helpful. Was looking everywhere for a rear Caliper bracket for a 2010 KIA Forte Koup(evidently a rare car in the junkyards).soI called Cartel and Linda picked up and assured me they had the part available when I get there Raul drove me to the vehicle and even pulled the part for me. Great selection of vehicles and great customer service definitely a place to check out.
My boyfriend spent 700 on a transmission first they delivered the wrong transmission to the shop then they came and got the transmission and didnt bring the one he payed for my mechanic and boyfriend called the number to see what was the problem the woman who answered the phone is very nasty and rude she hung up the phone because sge was mad that my mechanic just called her too. Very unprofessional we went to the one in CMD ... Never again
I called and Inquired if I could pay for a driver side mirror for a Camry ($75). Was trying to reduce wait time because my husband had to be st work this afternoon. STACY said “we do not take payments over the phone”! She said “hold on, and left me on hold for 20 minutes”! Not only was she rude, she was very unprofessional and provided me wrong information. She could use training on phone etiquette as well as the company policies!
Wasted a day here waiting for broken parts. Two days ago, I got the front strut assembly for my vehicle and the struts were bad. I figured I was taking my chances anyway but the springs were good. Today I went back for the rear springs. I was told I need to buy the spring and the strut even though they are seperate in the rear.I waited in the lobby for three hours! The guys who pull the parts kept telling the staff up front that they were pulled and just waiting to be driven up. Then they broke for lunch and still did not bring them up. Later they said my parts were next to be pulled. I was furious but they assured me they would be right out again. Eventually they brought out bad struts and no springs. The staff up front called back to get the springs. Another half hour later they brought up the springs and they were broken!I got my money back but not my three and a half hours. I asked about getting them from another vehicle and I was told they will probably be in the same condition and sent me away. Any other yard would have had it out quicker or offered me a set for free just for the hastle, instead I was turned away after wasting all that time. One employee told me this stuff happens all the time. Cartel needs to get their stuff together.
Was not a good experience i live in new jersey i called 1 hour before going there to see if they had the parts i needed they said yes i get there and after i waited for 20 minutes till someone took me there they say they didnt have the parts for my car.. they totally made me drive there for no reason waste of gas money and time cause i could of went somewhere else...
Joe who runs this place stated he had my part for the car, not just 1 but 4 of them. Drove 1 hour and a half each way and He did not have it.I had to go online to order it myself. I will NOT be back at this place nor do I recommend this place at all!!! Trust me... go somewhere else!
Terrible maintenance of tow trucks! Just had my car damaged by a tow driver flying down 76 with a bed full of debris on 7/21/20 @ around 10:45am( flatbed was filled with dirt and rocks). Please check driver records and have this driver reprimanded immediately. If a motorcycle was behind this truck, somebody could have been seriously injured. Will have to file for a insurance windshield repair
Horrible! I call asking for a part and the lady at the office answered so rude and hung up😑. she said that they have the part I needed but, when I got there after driving 3 hours she told me I dont have it and turn her back on. She must be very miserable she treat people really bad. Never going back again.
I got an part 2 weeks ago and I went there today again I forgot the part was in paper water glass under the glove because its a haed light shoud not touch anywhere when I was leaving he find that part I showed him receipt but he kept my part that I paid for it and 2 weeks ago they gave me receipt but that old guy never gave me receipt I will never go back there again .

2022-04-30I thought they have a very strict system, like you just stepped foot in another country. The laws of the land are very definitive and policed per se. I thought them having a system made it simpler because you figured out what to do to get the part you want.It took a long time in waiting in the parking lot for my chance to survey the grounds with the company beater that the driver goes into some kind of bi-polar rage to get around the yard quickly to cars that are applicable. The dude is brilliant to remember all this, should put him on jeopardy.And the people inside that call the shots, the government of Cartel are super cool. They are all very unique in personality and they seem to have fun and get there work done.Id go back. I think the prices are fair. In my case I was looking for a taillight that showed available on the parts database, but when I got there it was for a different year. It was hours of waiting and running around like Fred Flintstone in what looked like a war zone but it was an experience.I thought they could really charge for these nutty crazy junkyard rides because thats what it felt like to me. A complete waste of time in my case, but it was an experience.

2022-03-10Customer services wasnt bad but the prices is oxymoron and ridiculous. Ive called last week to see if they had an eninge 93,000 mileage and told me $1300. I called today March 10, 2022 to (a week later) double check if they still got the same engine. I asked for the price (to make sure) and the guy on the phone said $1700. Wow. $400 more than what previously told. Its sad, because you guys love ripping people off, especially during Covid-19. Im surprised you guys still in business in 2022...

2022-03-24Wow. What a joke! How are these parts places even exist?! They advertise the part on car-parts.com website. You call them, tell the guy what you need and they put you on hold forever. Call next day, they ask what you need - a mirror assembly, they put you on hold. Call back the following week and they put you on hold saying they dont have the part. As soon as you hear that you looking for a mirror, they know they not making much money with it and either put you on hold or say parts not available. Its still listed online for sale. Come on man!!! You dont want to work? Or you get more commission to sell more expensive parts?

2018-04-13Nice and pleasant experience. The Cartels database is excellent! So, whatever parts or any pre-owned cars youre looking for, the answer (availability) is informed to you is pretty quick. No wonder they have so many customers. One last thing, not only their service is fast, but they are also transparant.My thanks to Jim K., the Manager
