This is the worst organization for CES. Unfortunately it is the only one accepted by PA. First, phone calls are useless. do not even waste your time. A recording tells you all advisers are busy so call another time or contact them by email. Call them any time of the day and you will not get any human. Email them and they will never answer. you can also schedule a consult online for a fee; to which there is no availability until late January 2023. This is an organization that has absolutely no regard to the needs of nurses. Pennsylvania will cancel your application for a license because they waited too long for your CES. Figure that out! You loose well earned money because Pennsylvania Board of Nursing requires you to use only CGFNS. How much money does the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing make out of nurse applicants knowing that CGFNS will never respond to applicants with simple questions.
I have been try to reach out to Cgfns for almost a month via phone but it is impossible. By far this is one of the worst organizations in the US that I had to deal with in the past 30 years.They have no idea that these students are going through so much stress trying to get every piece of documents that is required by Cgfns and they would only call if they are having an issue. They are not calling because they have nothing better to do. Please improve your customer service!!!
Worse credential evaluation service especially for international clients. CGFNs had made changes to their services removing the option to edit or make changes to your account. In order to reach an agent theres the option email via contact us portal. The agents never responds. To ensure you guaranteed reaching an agent you have to PAY a fee for $25 to schedule a virtual consultation with dates that are months apart. Today is 20th June their next available date for an virtual consultation to edit changes to my profile is 11 November. Someone need to look into this organization ASAP!
After I passed cgfns exam. The certificate was sent to my house but no documents provide any information about what to do next. I apply for pearsonVue for nclex test and wait for 5 wks. I think its something wrong. I contact pearsonVue and found out I have to apply and pay for state of nursing board. When I contact State Nursing board, They told me that they didnt received my documents and I have to contact cgfns by myself. I keep call and call cgfns but the phone always busy. In my opinion, CGFNS need to improve their service since we pay for the service and we expect to get a good service that lead us to reach ours goal. Please give us the information about all the process from first step to last step until we can apply and schedule to nclex test. Additionally, please provide enough staff to answers the phone and responds to our email quickly if you provide the way to contact via my message in website. hopefully, we will see the improvement and it will be good for another applicator in the future.one more thing, I just know that we have to buy the letter to send to State of nursing board via shopping card and pay 100$ for this process. I think If CGFNS can do a diagram of each step we might dont have to call them often and their phone shouldnt be busy to answer the same questions that waste their time.
One of the worst companies to deal with. They have a total monopoly on the market. Wait times for support and processing is insane. They need to hire more staff, they have no need to do so because you have no other option. It takes at minimum 1-2 months for anything to be processed and that’s if you call and harass them to get things done.
I am trying to make an account and and not getting the automated message with the code that verifies the email. I have been trying to call multiple times since days but it always says the line is busy. I cannot find their email in their contact page. I don’t know how to resolve this problem. Cgfns playing with our important steps in getting visa screened.
I have been trying to get through to CGFNS since July 2021! As soon as they are opened you are told you have an extended wait! The wait starts from 20 mins. 5 mins later you are told you have 30 mins. I started calling every single day since March and nothing!!!! They take my money and I cannot get any service. That is deceptive and cruel and stealing. The worst! I need my issues addressed CGFNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why are you being difficult?????!!!!! The earliest so called virtual consultation is October! What madness! July 2022 will make 1 yr that I have been trying to be processed by you people! CGFNS I NEED TO KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MY APPLICATION AND WHAT IS BEING DONE BECAUSE YALL TOOK MY MONEY!
I just spoke to one of the rudest customer service agent.He was constantly interrupting me as I speak and was barging at me.They really need to teach good customer service to their representatives and when I asked for his name at the end of the call. He hung up on me. And after waiting for 30 mins I didnt even get to ask my questions.Isnt it ridiculous having to purchase same service every years? I have already spent more than $1000 in CGFNS only to be treated like a second class citizen.CGFNS is the most morally depraved company in USA. First they lobby in senate and get right to be one and exclusive company to review education of foreign nurses and they charge exorbitant fees every two years for same service. They dont even have any competition, they have monopoly in this market. I dont know how people are even remotely okay with operation of this company? They are extremely slow and ineffective in processing the application despite the exorbitant charges. They purposefully delay your reports and push you to purchase additional services like expedition services.If my education was equivalent to US education two years ago its not going to change and be inequivalent in two years. Board of nursing has discretion to determine whether or not nurses have been keeping up with their CEU. CGFNS has no discretion whatsoever to keep blackmailing, harrasing and forcing international nurses to keep purchasing their service.I honestly feel helpless being forced to deal with this organization every so often.
It was a comfortable experience owing to the thoroughness of their procedures and relatively quick responses to queries. Minor hiccups where in-calls are not met with great knowledge and flexibility as that of the evaluators, however customer service was quick to get your queries in for timely response. The security level access to my information, was also of a high standard. Certificates are made quickly available at the end of the process via courier services.An overall good experience for me.
Do NOT use this service. Obtaining a simple reply from them takes 2-3 months at least. Sent all documents in due time, one year later process expires. Result? You have to pay even more to reactivate it. If I knew about it before I would have never even tried. Waste of time and money. For someone living outside the US, only option to contact them is through a written request using their system, which is not simple and seems to take months to obtain a reply. You cant email them directly and unless you want to spend huge amounts of money, calling them is not an option. Shameful service and I regret using it from the start.
I will give honest review since a lot of these reviews are fake with 5 stars. Nobody in there mind that has been through CGFNS would rate their experience 5 stars. The processing time is ridiculous and they have lost my documents sent in from the DR not once but TWICE! Verified with tracking that they received the documents and they didnt take accountability at all that they LOST MY DOCUMENTS. The amount of money and time I had to put to get my school to send requirements is more than U.S DOLLARS!!!! When I call customer service they are unempathetic and don’t care that my documents are lost. They even yell at me as if it’s my fault. The customer care department is horrible and management didn’t do anything to help my case to see what happened with my documents that were not lost once but TWICE! I requested to speak with a manager on my call and they refused to transfer my call as if the manager or supervisors have some other job descriptions/duties other than what they applied for at the company. This company should be ashamed as they lack morals and respect for anybodys money that’s thrown at them. Emailing them takes two months for a response for a ridiculous response that doesn’t make sense or match up to what you send to them. This company is terrible and I’m taking looking to pursue my other degree and use a different agency. I attempted a refund but due to their policy they have a no refund policy although they lost my documents twice!!!!! What a scam of a company. I will not be recommending to any of my RN graduate friends and hopefully they will stay very VERY far from this company.
The worst company I ever need to work with. Horrible customer service. They are lazy with our process and the only time they contact us is when is time to collect our money! Right now I am trying to call and the voicemail says “please call in our hours of operation” which is right now!! I feel so frustrated and upset with this CGFNS who is “working” (not really) with me to evaluate my documents since 2020 and always find a excuse to do not let me get my process done!!
Update: After filing a complaint to BBB, they finally took action. They uploaded my document and issued my CES report immediately thats why I updated my review from 1 star to 3 stars. To all applicants, goodluck!This company is horrible! If youre needing evaluation of your academic/professional credentials for endorsing your RN license, please dont use this company! Use another credential evaluation company if thats an option! My document which was delivered 2 months ago (contains personal information) is nowhere to be found! Their business hours are 9am to 3pm eastern time but is already closed at 1pm eastern time when I called. Dont waste your time and money here!
CGFNS has been a nightmare to work with. Their customer service is abysmal. They take around 10 business days to respond to emails and there is a minimum 20 minute wait to reach someone over the phone. You personally have to chase up every single piece of paperwork to make sure that they upload it to your file and there is a 25 day delay between sending something in and them uploading it. Even if you pay for expedited, they wont rush uploading your documents that you sent in. My evaluation, Junie, is the worst to work with, incredibly rude, isnt upfront with how the process works and asks for superfluous paperwork. Its such a money scam and their wait times are obviously unacceptable. I cant believe Ive paid over $500 for them to take months to upload documents and process applications.
These people are the absolute worst. It sucks to be from a foreign country and no matter how many times you return to school you still need a report from CGFNS to obtain a license in another state. Their customer service is ridiculous, you stay on hold forever and the time you have to wait keeps fluctuating. They receive your documents but never log them, so the tracking number doesnt work. Then when the documents are logged as received, 2-3 months later, its another 3 months before the evaluation is completed. Sometimes the CSR will mention the 200 for the case to be expedited and other times theyll tell me I still have to wait because the documents arent received. Why do I need to resend license from my country when I havent worked there in years its beyond me. This is a money making scam and even when you pay $$$ dont expect good service. Yall need to do better, but because Yall know we have no choice you keep being like this.
Cannot complete my VS application without proper high school diploma or GED but how would I be nurse without such? CGFNS requirements make it hard for foreign graduates and lack understanding of certain requirements we have that are different in our home country. In Nepal the secondary school education is different. Now I will need to do GED because my secondary school education from Nepal does not meet requirements. This is unfair and CGFNS should have a better process and understanding if they are aware of how the schooling is different in Nepal. I wish I would have known ahead of time as I have been emailing for updates for my application for months as customer service people told me the requirements were ok. Not happy
I am very sad I hope that someone will see this review and contact me more than 6 months I am trying to reach them to change my exam appointment unprofessional people answer the phone they keep saying We dont know and we gonna send you email when we can solve the problem. From March until now nobody send me anything and my application will be expired soon I dont know what should I do. I need to take my exam. Terrible!!!!!!!!!
One of the worst experiences Ive ever had. There is no effective communication, nobody knows anything. I just wasted my valuable time and my money. extremely frustrating after doing so much paperwork and payments only to end up with no answer on my case. Unprofessional messing with peoples futures. Im so Very angry.
Hi thereI have used two services with this company, CES and VisaScreen. the service was exteremly good, the time frame for the processing, communication mathod, updating docuements, phone call services, answering my question, eveythign was bayond statisfactory. i would give 5 star for the services. the staffs on the phone were really helpful and knowledgable. i would recomed this service to anyone.
The worst facility on Earth, it takes them to evaluate your credentials more Than it took you the get your degree, they are horrible everything takes forever to be done even the very very simple things, it took them at Least 25 days to confirm that they received the documents, imagine that, just Confirmation of receipt 25 days then the counting begin for the evaluation report, Ive done the same service with other companies it didnt took them lifetime for just a credentials evaluation report, I hope the other company put them out of business soon ,. Also the other company didnt charge as crazy as they change, soooooo horrible, 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮Also they dont have email to reach out, you have to make an account to reach out, also when you have an account they dont respond to your emails, and you will have better luck with the lottery than talking to them on phone cuz they dont ever awnser the phone, I think there is only one person working in this place that whys everything is horrible and takes forever 🤮
Is it too much to ask CGFNS to obtain and provide a tracking number especially whilst reaching out to universities internationally?How bloody difficult is that for you to do when you charge $400 dollars for this service.Can’t believe this organization is still run by incompetent folks. Just provide a simple tracking number that’s all we ask. People who pay you, help feed you. Remember that!
There are a lot of disturbing things this company gets away with. They are extremely behind on answering emails as I was told by several of their employees. Their representatives lack basic knowledge of the services they offer. Each employee is required to leave notes on your file after every phone call, but somehow are still never aware or up to date with your application process. Most of their international credentialing analyst are people with bare minimum degrees from foreign countries that they do not evaluate themselves before hiring Im sure, but will take months sometimes years to evaluate yours. Many BB complaints made for this company. They will take your money and take their sweet time with your application process. Completely neglectful. Maybe if they didnt pay their employees minimum wage, theyd be a lot more willing to actually help. This company is becoming less accredited every year. Spend your money somewhere else.
My wife received email that they are waiting on her transcripts from 2 schools she attended in Philippines. She had her mother who is an educator in Philippines go to each school and she was told by each educational institution that no one has even requested her transcripts. Something is not quite right here.... Whats even more troubling is when she went through this process years ago when successfully getting her license for the first time in the Philippines they got her transcripts.Also, when she had to register to get license here in Missouri they knew most of her information already since she was licensed before. So how can you now not know her education???
As a former Employee here, I can speak for the applicants when I say that dealing with CGFNS is a NIGHTMARE. The higher ups and Managment of this company could care less about the applicants. They preach that everything they do is for the applicants sake but NONE of them have any moral compass... Dear applicants...A little insight on the customer service representatives that you speak with. Please know that these employees are highly underpaid and overworked. They also are subject to ZERO incentives and ZERO change of moving up in the company. The CEO likes to place fear in the employees hearts and runs this place like a military camp ( Everybody must fall in line). Image your manager telling you to not be out of your seat because the CEO is walking around. Image being an adult and having to explain yourself to somebody on why you are not at your desk. This place is a disgusting company to be apart of and I really wish you applicants had another company to deal with.
This company is EXTREMELY slow in processing simple documents. Expect to wait 25 BUSINESS days just to get an one line reply in the email telling you to keep waiting. I really wish CGFNS wasnt in a monopoly position that so many nurses have NO CHOICE but to rely on for credential verfication.
I had to use their services because it was one of the requirements for me to be able to get my license transferred over to the state I’m currently residing. I’m a foreign graduate and it was required for me to get my transcript evaluated through CGFNS and it is the worst experience I’ve ever have to deal with. I submitted my application April of this year and I’m currently still waiting which means I haven’t been able to practice for 6 months now. I paid a lot of money to be waiting this long. I was able to obtain my license from a different state and worked for almost 4 years. Whenever I email them they will say the same thing each time “ we received all documents and we’re currently processing your documents” I’m beyond frustrated. I tried calling them and they are just rude.
There were hardly any barriers to the process. Everything was timely. The communication was just on point. I felt that we moved hand and hand in each step. Excellence and professionalism echoed all through the entire process. Would anytime recommend anyone for the service. Thanks for your wonderful and timely service.
UNDERPAYED staff, loses documents, customer service doesn’t answer emails and give wrong information on the phone, managers don’t give call backs to the applicants, CEO sits on his butt and collects his money while everyone suffers. Managers and higher up people don’t care about applications or processing times. They also upped their fees during pandemic. Worst company ever. I would rather work for Dr Evil than go through this company to be a nurse in the U.S. I would rather smell dog poo than deal with them again
Nothing but a money grab. It’s been 3 years that I submitted my application for a CES academic evaluation. My documents recently have been received 2 months ago and the evaluation is still not being done,nothing has progressed. My school has sent different mails to this facility and they have lost all of them somehow.Thats it , I have absolutely lost all patience I have dealing with this unprofessional service. My files have been sent and received for weeks and still marked ready for evaluation/or waiting for the documents, correspondence takes weeks, even months. We are paying them a lot of money for below mediocre work. The PA BON will stop using this CGFNS for CES.
This was my first time using this credentialing service and I was amazed at how easy the whole process is. I am really appreciative of the whole process and how I could track every step of it from beginning to end and even with the courier till package arrived at my agency. Good job CGFNS👌👌
So i have to use CGFNS to do my RN to BSN because the university i want WGU changed their rukes and only want CGFNS to verify credentialsSo annoying but it is what it isI filled everything out in november i believe and did not realise i had to get in touch with my university in UK.I did this and am still waiting.My university say they sent my transcripts and it was not easy its 24yrs ago.I had terrible trouble getting them i had my transcripts evaluated previously without difficulty.Anyway on my profile it still says waitnig for my transcripts from Bangor.in UKI sent an E mail to CGFNS asking them if they received them as hey were mailed 2 weeks prior.I understand mail is difficult at this timeI received an E mail back from CGFNS saying they are waiting for my high school diplomafirstly UK does not give diplomas in high school,secondly i really dont need itI sent a message to my college in UK asking for anything they have regarding my pre nursing course which i did to gain entry to nursing schoolHonestly i am sick to death of this whole thingAll i want is my school of nursing transcripts evaluated so i can get some credits to do RN to BSNI ask them if they received them and the only reply i get back is they are waiting for high school transcripts.i only filled out those 2 areas because it made me do it i really dont want themWhy can i not just have my nursing school transcripts evaluated.Im still unsure if they have received them as they did not reply correctlyLuckily my contact at bangor university is very understanding.she even said if they had not received them could she send a digital copy directly to themSeriously im not even asking themthis just seems a money making scheme to meIm about to give up and complain to BBB
CGFNS is a fake. It has been 2years that I submitted my application for a CES academic report and every time I call for an update, they tell me they just submitted my file for re-verification and I ask myself, what is going on.....Long story short; this company is scamming people of their hard earn money. I dont care how long it takes I will work hard to make sure they pay for this or close their doors. They cannot be taking advantage of people in this manner.If you are reading this review and have had similar experience, please lets team up and make this people pay for the damages they are causing. At the least they should close their doors, so others dont fall victim like we did.WE NEED TO MAKE THEM PAY!!! I DONT CARE HOW MUCH IT TAKES!!!

2022-05-08Overall experience was excellent and impressive. From the starting, proper guidelines and explanations are given in the portal,which makes it easier to use, once you register.Documents verification was very quick than expected. During the process, if you have any concerns, reaching out to the office is much easier, either through a phone-call or via your portal. Both ways, you will get response that is needed to solve the issue. Phone-call appeared much easier for me, as it solved the issue, within thirty minutes. And my verification report was issued the very next day. Overall, the process took, less than 5 months, keep in mind, your documents should reach them by post/courier without much delay. And , if you are concerned about status update of any document received at their office, give them a call, it is much faster to proceed further. Staff who attended my call was very helpful and knowledgeable to handle the issues. Actually, straight away he sorted out the issue, after proper enquiry with his managers. Never asked me to wait or never delayed my verification.

2022-08-14Overall experience is satisfactory when I receive my report after long 2 year struggle. The only bad thing is my document reached there but they lost it.few documents I need to resubmit.and moreover i submit all documents but due to delay I need to reactivate my account by pay extra money.all over the customer care service was very good they listen my quiery carefully and very politely they clarify my all questions. Only thing needs to be improve is careful handling of couriers.All the best for new applicants.

2022-09-16They are quick to take your money, but does not respond back In timely manner. Their customer care number navigator is trash and designed in a way in which states that they are busy, and instead of putting you on hold they will hang you up. It’s sad that this company is the only service for nurses with international degrees, and we are at mercy of this company with their poor service; we have no choice but to use it. My temporary License is about to expire and it’s been months since I tried to apply for a license in Washington but they still haven’t responded to my email. I feel hopeless and helpless and this company makes my life difficult.

2022-07-14I am happy with the quality of service, the ability to track and user friendly portal. I believe the processing time can be made a bit shorter. It took a little more than 30 days from my last uploaded document to finalize the report. Overall satisfied.

2022-06-02Their services, though quite dear, are very good. They give you a timeline which they adhere to but also keep you up to date on your partHowever, it was very difficult to get through to them on the phone.Overall, i liked the interaction via their portal.

2022-07-13The worst experience. Worst of the worst. First of all it is difficult to call through. Secondly, it just so happens I’m at work and miss the delivery of the document. Apparently they cannot send the certificate and I have To pay an extra $100 to get it resent. Then the agent tells me there’s a requirement left on the emails. Apparently my DOB is not on my certificate and Now I HAVE TO PAY AGAIN for my transcript to be sent from my school to CGFNS. What a joke! All this to take me 5 months and I’m not even done yet.

2022-07-20First of all, I cannot believe this company has 4 stars. Either they are using bots, or those reviews are fake. Maybe it is because google reviews does not show up immediately when you google CGFNS, so people don’t know they can leave them a review. They have 1 star in yelp, terrible complaints on reddit, and horrible experiences shared on any other forum you can think of.This company is absolutely terrible. I have never in my life had a worst experience working with other human beings. I started working with them months ago and I sent them every document they requested, regardless of how ridiculous and absurd the request was (like my elementary school transcripts from my home country lol).They say they take 25 business days to process the documents that you send them, once they receive them. This may seem excessive, but it is actually much worst. They take well over 25 business days to “process” those documents, but that time does not include how long it takes them to evaluate those documents.They don’t have a regular email to contact them. Instead you have to use their horrible internal communications system that feels like it was built during the cold war. When you message them through there be ready to wait weeks to get a response.You may then consider calling them. Good idea, be prepared to experience something worse than one of Dante’s circles of Hell. If you even manage to get ahold of them (their line says their call volume is too high and hangs up on you, too many people complaining to them), then you’ll be put in a 30-45 minute waiting queue in the best case scenario. Worst case the updates will keep getting longer and even if at some point it says 30 minutes left, later it may go up to 35 or 40 again. It will truly test the patience of the most strict Buddhists.Once you somehow manage to speak to a person, even though they will access your file through your case id # and read your history of questions, they’ll have no idea of how to help you. You’ll have to explain everything in detail again as they rush you to hang up and attend the next person having a miserable experience, even if they’ve solved nothing for you.At the end of the day working with CGFNS has brought me a lot of stress and anxiety. Their service costs $615 even though they claim to be a non-profit. I presume it is to pay the dozens or people they need to answer complains from everyone they have wronged.After spending $615 and sending every little document they could think to ask for, and months of back and forth with them through both their internal communication service from the Paleolithic and their horrible phone system, I am no closer to getting the stupid document that I need from them in order to safely travel back home and see my family. I absolutely hate them and the horrible experience I’ve had with them.I wish that nobody else would have to go through this nightmare but I believe they may be the only option and they sure know it, because I’ve never had to deal with anyone as rude and disrespectful.

2022-06-19There were some delay in replying to queries and update on status of my submitted forms which are understandable given during pandemic and lots of holidays during my application, but overall they have been helpful in assisting me thru the process. Recommended to my colleagues too

2022-06-30This organization is a failure, how can you delay students for more than 6 months before you will be able to evaluate their educational records their respective schools have mailed to you. The board of nurses departments in America should not depend solely on this organization for their evaluation. They should allow students to use other resources to compete with CGFNS so the organization will learn and facilitate their evaluation process.

2022-08-18Money grab. $25 to talk to them through video call. And even if your entire application is properly filed. Its impossible to get them over the phone, even if I call right away as soon as they open, it hangs up on you. Theres absolutely no customer service or anyway to check in if theres anything wrong. Theres always an extra fee/cost for something.
