Ordered and purchased the new 2022 Ford Maverick Hybrid from Chapman. We searched several Ford dealers across the country, they offered the best price. In addition, they offered price protection since the production was delayed several months (not Chapman’s fault). We were also able to have it courtesy shipped to Crossroads Ford in Apex, NC for pick up. Chapman FedEx’ed all of the necessary paperwork to our home for signature. That was an easy process. We dealt with Ed and Melissa. They were very responsive to calls and texts. This is the first time we purchased from an out of state dealership. I was not sure how that was going to work, but it was fine. The key is to find a local dealership that will accept a courtesy shipment. Overall, I would use Chapman again if the pricing is good.
Recently bought a Ford Maverick I ordered with Ed Simpson at Chapman in August 2021 that just arrived the end of December 2021. Simply put, best car buying experience ever I had! The price was exactly what was agreed to in August, which was below MSRP, everything was done extremely efficient with no extra sales pitches or gimmicks and I was in and out within less than an hour with the majority of the time spent checking over the truck! Ed, Mellisa, Henry and James are a great team and we’re wonderful to work with throughout the whole buying experience! Very down to earth group and you won’t be disappointed with Chapman in Philly if you go to them! Also, the truck is amazing as well but that was a given to me, the buying experience was just icing on the cake! Thanks again Chapman Ford in Philly and have a great 2022!
I had a great experience with a salesman named Aaron Conway, he made the process a breeze which is really appreciated nowadays. He was very patient and accommodating with all of my requests, I was able to order a new 2022 Ford Escape at a great price! I would definitely return when im ready for a new car solely because it was such a positive experience. Ive bought several cars and this was by far the smoothest process and with impeccable customer service you dont get everywhere!
My experience with Chapman Ford, I will rate the customer service high they were very polite.But my review for their service department, I will rate it low. I have an 2003 Ford Expedition that I have been investing in rebuilding. I had a lot of major repairs and replacing of parts to revive my what I consider a classic. They refused to do the work I requested because in their mind it wasnt worth doing because it was a older model vehicle. Instead they continued to insist that I purchase a newer vehicle. Im a paying customer that did not care about the cost for the repair.
I purchased a 2022 Ford Maverick XL though Chapman Ford and I had a very pleasant experience. They got my order at 4% under MSRP and were able to apply the Ford Rebates. They did fantastic with pricing, honesty, experience and friendliness. Jim Allan was awesome. Made it a quick in and out no stress either. They have made me a loyal customer at Chapman Ford.

We bought a 2019 Explorer at Chapman today. We must say that this was the best experience weve ever had buying a car. Mike Moyer was knowledgeable and positive. He made us feel comfortable and conducted the negotiations with transparency and humor. We did not feel pressured at all. If the car is as good as the sale, weve made a great purchase!
I had a great experience wit the purchase of a certified used car. Don Biddle is very knowledgeable and was able to address all my questions. Took my 2017 in for warranty repair. I dropped my vehicle off the night before my appointment. The next day at 7:10 am the tech sends me a video showing me the parts that needed to be replaced. I received a call an hour later telling me that the parts were covered under my warranty but the parts were not available for 2 days. They said cone pick the vehicle up and bring it back in 3 days. So, 3 days later, I drop the vehicle off at 7;30 am and by 11;00 am it was ready for pickup! Hassle free and very courteous to me.
Excellent Customer Service. John and Jay were both very informative about the work that needed to be done on our car after it was hit. They continually contacted us with updates on the status of the repairs. Friendly and courteous. Would definately recommend them to my friends and family!
Recently purchased my first car from here and it was used i did not mind the scratches on it.. since i’m a new driver and i’m young. The fact that this place took advantage of me and failed to tell me there was a huge hole under their “chapman auto stores” front plate which would cost a lot of money to repair.. the only thing they offered was “a couple oil changes and one free gas tank” is ridiculous.. this place knew about the hole on my front bumper!!! they covered it up with their plate. AND DID NOT MENTION IT AT ALL. i’m furious i would not have purchased this vehicle especially for the price that it was with that type of damage on it..

I bought a used 2019 Explorer Sport with very low miles. The car is in absolutely incredible condition. The sales and finance team at Chapman are the best . I confirmed with Ed Simpson and Alex that the 2022 Ford Transit Connect was available. I drove over an hour to purchase it. 35 minutes before arrival they call me to verify that I was coming. I told them I was on my away and that the key for the car was on his desk waiting for me to purchase the vehicle. 5 minutes before my designated appointment as I was pulling into their parking lot they call me and tell me that somebody else just came in and was purchasing the vehicle. No decency at all. Likely sold it to another person for an even higher mark-up price. Not a reputable dealership to deal with. Nobody was even looking me at the eye because they knew they screwed me over. Think twice before driving there and purchasing anything from them. I ended up buying a Ram Promaster City that same day from another dealership.
Every time I come here I never have an issue. Staff is Always friendly. Waiting room has vending machines. Bathrooms always cleaned. Today waiting to get an oil change, I was texted a video of my vehicle. They showed me my breaks & pads. They didn’t do unnecessary things on my car to make me pay more. I’m very pleased with Chapman & will continue to support.

Bought a new Ford maverick from Chapman this year. In November I came in to test drive one. After months of waiting my truck arrived. Don was helpful and gave me updates the whole time. They were great and sold me the truck at the MSRP without any mark ups or back and forth.
My experience with Chapmans Collision Center was superb. John S, mgr. pointed out repairs overlooked by the insurance adjuster and covered the labor and costs even before receiving the adjusters approval. In these difficult times with uncertain delivery and tech unavailability, he met the promised schedule exactly. BTW, the paint was perfection!With an aluminum truck body and components, I would not think of taking my vehicle anywhere else.

Got a lemon and no on at Chapman cares. Bad brakes noise coming from them. In and out for service they do NOTHING. Roy FernandesService Director emails me I told him NOTHING was fixed. I guess he was acting like he CARED AND NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HIM! Worst customer service around stay far away I still have the same issue and now they are issuing a recall for the brakes but no date to fix them that just wonderful. Well I documented everything so if something happens according to our familys lawyer I will have a massive law suite. STAY FAR AWAY.
Chapman Ford is a rare breed among dealers today. When Ford announced the Maverick I thought it would be a perfect vehicle for myself and was excited to get one ordered. I followed along on online forums to keep up to date with news and whatever gossip people found regarding the Maverick. I live in Georgia and found that a lot of the dealers were not wanting to work with me and requesting money down right away. While I am an avid car fan I hate dealing with slimly dealerships and car sales men. I found that Chapman was taking orders and saw that they were a high volume dealer so it was more likely that Id get my order sooner. From day one, reaching out to Ed and the Chapman team they were straight forward and I didnt feel as if I was purely a profit to them. Once my truck finally arrived (9 months from order date, Fords problem not Chapmans) I was able to complete most of the purchase paperwork online. I decided to pick my truck up at Chapman instead of shipping it and Im glad I did. the purchasing process was extremally quick and they didnt try to upsell me or add any bogus mark ups. Its good to know there are still honest dealerships out there. Even though Im far away from Chapman I wouldnt hesitate to order from them again. If you live in Philly this should be your go to dealer!
I purchased a vehicle the same morning of my appt. Needed a recall done for rear suspension and a multi point inspection. I forgot the gentleman’s name that attended me but he was very professional informative and helpful with all my needs. He sits in the second chair next to the woman next to the glass. Lol if someone knows his name shout him out! He said my car will take 2-3 hours to be done. Car was ready in 1:20 mins. The place is clean professional. I’m from NYC and Brought the car hear. Says a lot. Would recommend to anyone ! I would even take the drive to come back to get it serviced.
David Greenberg was everything you need in a car salesmen. He was honest, to the point, and willing to work with my budget. I had been to many car dealers looking for a small SUV and was put off by slick, dishonest dealers who were pushy and just wanted to make a quick sale. Thank you to David for his patience and honesty.
Took my car in for service for the 4th time with the same issue. The part wasn’t in so I asked for a rental after the 2nd week. Took another 6 days to get rental authorized. Got to rental company to pick up the car and they didn’t have my reservation. Got it resolved in about 30 minutes. When you call and are on hold their recording says you will never have to wait to speak with a representative however nothing of the sort could be further from the truth. The guy that was assisting me was courteous and did his best but I would have gone elsewhere if it wasn’t under warranty.
Sales manager is a sleeze.Service is the worst. Every time I brought my truck in, they need to keep it for days. Never have the parts and if they order the parts. You better start on them. Months later they still dont have them. Its always someone dropped the ball. Never deal with them again.

I had the upmost confidence in Chapman Ford to fix my Lincoln Navigator until I spent thousands of dollars at the recommendation of their Mechanic for repairs done on my engine in the year 2021. Each repair and call received to pick up my vehicle the check engine light alerted again. I finally thought my car was fixed after being serviced within the previous seven months the check engine light alerts again. I basically had my engine rebuilt and now the Mechanic is telling me I need a new engine. He could have state this in 2021 when he first worked on my vehicle. It’s been a Wasted Time, Wasted Materials and Wasted Money.

I was never really a Ford guy but I needed a work truck and from the moment I walk in, it was a family atmosphere and I was taken well care of.They were reasonable with my trade-in and made sure I got what I wanted.So? Brian came outside to greet me, no pressure at all and kinda walked me through everything and BOOM a few hours later I’m driving out in my new vehicle! Thanks again Brian! I had an appointment for an oil change and an inspection/emissions. After an hour and a half, I noticed that the technician brought my keys up to the service desk and my car was pulled around to the front. However, the person who checked me in wasnt at his desk so my keys (and me) sat there for another 20 minutes. I went up to another worker and asked if he could just check me out because clearly Mike wasnt returning to his desk anytime soon (I hadnt seen him there since I checked in.) The other guy paged Mike. Mike never came. I waited another ten minutes and finally had to ask again, loudly, if someone else could check me out because I had just waited an extra thirty minutes that I shouldnt have had to wait just because they wanted Mike to check me out. Finally, another man, Bob, checked me out. It is ridiculous that it took two hours for my services to be completed, but even more ridiculous that I had to wait an extra thirty minutes unnecessarily because Mike wasnt at his desk, or seemingly anywhere to be found. That is very poor customer service and I wish I had never bought my car at Chapman.
BUYERS BEWARE OF GUY FIERIWent in to buy a used car and things were going well until we started talking about pricing. The sales guy Don (Guy Fieri) tried to immediately upsell me and jacked the price up to include a bunch of services I didnt ask for. When I asked to change the pricing and remove the additional items I didnt want he had a bi-polar change and freaked out, calling me the most difficult customer. I asked for the manager and when he came out he just wanted to make jokes and he literally just told me to buy a new car and then tried to sell me a new car instead..... Terrible experience, very poor customer service skills. I cant believe I made the trip out to them just to be yelled at and belittled by a sales rep that didnt get his way. #stealership
I went in for an alignment and 2 recalls, i left the car at 10 and by 3 it was ready.They was polite and courteous, I only have one concern, my moonroof was not working, I ask if they could check it, they said the Diagnostic would be $190, will that be included if the fix of the problem, and is that separate from labor charges. Other than that I will take my vehicle back to Champman.

Most importantly what he quoted was to the cent!!When I got there Charles Corbett had all the paperwork ready to go and made it his mission to get me out of there as I had an appointment I couldnt miss.No one can touch there price, but most importantly Customer Service was amazing.Im a Chapman customer for life because of Ed and Charles.UpdateIf you ever need any work in the body shop go see John Nicole and Jay at Chapman on the Blvd. Customer service and quality of work is a 100 out of 10. Service was good. Still having issue with my brand new F150. With 3k miles my battery was bad and left my family and I stranded in the Poconos. Had to get towed to Philly which cost be almost $800. Found out that the tow company only charged $525 and Ford roadside charged me $275.00 for making the call to the tow truck company. What a scam!!!! Two days after picking up my truck I get a warning sign on my dash saying battery issue 12V charging fault. I have not drove the truck for 2 weeks and really dont fell safe driving it. So at this point I am waiting to find time to take it back too Chapman Ford too see why now this fault message is appearing. So disappointed with this truck.
Worked with Aaron Conway at this dealership to sell my 2019 F150. Aaron was able to get me the highest price out of the local Ford dealers. Aaron maintained good communication, and was responsive to all my questions throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Aaron and the dealership to buy and sell/trade vehicles.

Aaron was quick to get me some numbers for both the car and the add-on services and warranties so I could finalize my purchase. He was polite and attentive the whole time, and was able to clearly explain everything that was confusing. Had to get my Kia Soul towed to the dealership. They helped get a beautiful 2021 Ecosport. Aaron Conway was very helpful and patient with all my questions. He helped me understand all the technology in the car that I had difficulty with understanding since I’ve never had a new car. My routine service experience was extraordinary in that when the service technician opened the engine compartment he found that a large opossum had taken to nest. It was determined that the opossum had damaged some wires that was causing my engine light to come on intermittently. The repair was made and, at this time, no more engine light problems. Thank you Chapman!

My mother went to trade in her current lease. The payoff with taxes… was just over 19. We have two offers from other dealers at 26k and 27k each. They said we would have to take it to ford first and have ford buy it from her or mom but the lease outright. Ford offered my mom 20k the first time and then not even 23k the second time. We presented the offers to them and they offered a reduced lease payment on a car she did not want and a net

Chapman Ford has the absolute worst customer service! In June I went in and ordered a Ford Bronco Sport. Was told there was a 8-10 week wait. I left excited and pretty happy with my initial interaction with the staff. That excitement quickly faded. I would check in periodically to get an update and would never get a response if i emailed the salesman. They only time I’d get a return call was if I called and spoke with the receptionist. About 4 weeks in I asked for a VIN number so I could track the car on the ford website and not feel like I was harassing the staff at Chapman Ford. As soon as I got the information and looked up the car, I was shocked to see that the order associated with the VIN was a different color. When I questioned my salesman I was told it was just a stock photo and not to worry. So on September 24, I went online I noticed that the car was delivered. After hearing nothing from Chapman I reached out and informed them that my car had arrived. The salesman informed me that it hadn’t arrived but that could mean it would arrive in a few days. On October 1, I called yet again and was told a mistake had been made and my car was never ordered. Needless to say I was upset. I spoke with a manger who promised to order a new car and give me a significant discount. I asked him to give me a call once he had information about the new car, to include ETA and cost. I never heard from him.Throughout the 3 month fiasco I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt considering the issues with supplies. However, there is no excuse for their lack of courtesy and professionalism.I subsequently went to Kennedy Ford and received excellent service and a new car.If your looking for a car with a side of customer service, don’t go to Chapman Ford. You will regret it!!!
My salesman, David Greenberg, helped me find exactly what I wanted--a new F-150 XLT with a 12 screen for SYNC4 and a console shifter. He was very patient and when one finally arrived on the lot, he and his sales manager were able to make it affordable for me. Great first time buying experience I didn’t know anything before coming. My salesman was Aaron Conway. Charles Corbett also helped settle everything else since I stayed alittle later. I purchased my 5th lease through ford Chapman this past week. Mike Moyer is the salesman that I have worked with this cure t time and in the past. He makes the entire process fast and comfortable. He is very honest and the reason we come back and continue to purchase cars through Ford.
I always loved and trusted this dealer but at my last visit a while back now they lied about doing work they didnt do and i was charged for it. Specifically a tire rotation... I had my wheels marked and left my wheel key out and the mechanic took the wheel key and moved it to make me think he did the job. He did not touch the wheels though and the work was said to be done on my final invoice. Makes me wonder if they even changed my oil and filter.. i took it to fred beans and they are now my trusted dealer.

I’m new to Philadelphia, I brought my 21 GT in for a oil change, and had to make a appointment which I thought was a bit of a stretch for an oil change, but they were busy (I’m easy going). My appointment was set for the following day! When I arrived I was greeted by the service writer, who was very cool. My appointment was for later in the afternoon but I drop the car off very early due to a engagement I had that day. They jumped on my car and had me service and done before I even got back on the highway heading to my event. I was able to pay over the phone, which was good since I was already out of the area. When I picked my car up the following day it was cleaned and parked in the front of the dealership so I had no worries about safety. The entire staff were kind and professional. I will definitely recommend. Heck I want to work for them now.
Chapman Ford is the best place to come and buy your vehicle. They take care of you from the beginning til the end. They keep you updated when you are there for service or to add parts to your vehicle. The customer service is first class. The moment I walked into the car dealership to purchase my brand new Ford Bronco I was greeted right away. I am so impressed with the integrity of this dealership. I bought a used car from them (that I love!) that broke down OUT OF NOWHERE about ten days after purchase. Chapman took care of it without a second thought! No pushback, no endless questions. Jimmy did everything he could to help us out and to fix the issue. Ive never encountered a dealership that was actually invested in its customers, but Chapman IS! I know exactly where Im buying my cars in the future.

Service rep never gets back to me when i call and leave my no plus i drop off my truck for the same problem they replace two things on it and its still making the same noise. truck is in the shop as we speak and they replace another part and its still making the same noise. please help

On July 6, a falling object landed on my car, and on July 17, after extensive online checking narrowed the field to a couple of new car models, my daughter and I set out to test drive cars. The first dealership we stopped at didn’t have a car with the features I wanted, and had a manager who tried to pressure me into buying something I didn’t want. So, even though it was a hot day, we headed to our next stop, the Chapman Ford Dealership on the Roosevelt Boulevard. What a pleasant difference in ambience and approach! When we entered the dealership building, a very polite salesperson smilingly asked if we had an appointment to see someone, and when we answered, no, gave us an even bigger smile and said perhaps he could help. And that’s how my daughter and I met Dave Greenberg, salesman ‘par excellence’. We inquired about the Ford Edge. For the next couple of hours, Dave’s amiable, thoughtful, car-knowledgeable personality shown through. He fully answered every question that my daughter and I had (and we had plenty) about the Ford Edge’s performance, trim levels, warranties, prices, and more. And while he didn’t have the exact car we wanted on the lot, he offered us a test drive in an older model Edge that would give us the sense of how the car drove, and there was no doing the Limbo to get in and out of the car. Brilliant! It wasn’t long before I had made up my mind that the Ford Edge was the car for me, and of the alternatives that Dave suggested, I decided to order a custom car with the options and colors that I wanted. And for ladies over 65 (like me), it’s great to have someone (like Dave) appreciate that there are features we do not want to have in a car as much as there are features that we do want. As was his custom throughout this purchasing session, Dave always offered alternatives. If I wasn’t sure what something meant, he patiently explained it and if prompted by a ‘what do you think’ question, he would clearly explain what the option entailed. He was terrific! It was the best car buying experience of my life. And one other note: The atmosphere at Chapman Ford was convivial and relaxed among all the sales associates, unlike other dealerships where the atmosphere is almost funereal and you can hear a pin drop. Interested in a Ford? Go to Chapman! Seek out any of their friendly sales associates or managers (Yes! A friendly manager! Something I used to think was an oxymoron), or seek out, Dave Greenberg, my personal favorite!

I traveled from Connecticut to Philadelphia just to buy a car from here. Chapman Ford was very responsive and very efficient which was really important to me because of the long drive - everything that could have been done prior to actually buying the car was done through email/calls. When I got there, the car was already detailed and gas freshly topped off. All remaining paperwork/finance was done efficiently once there. My car was recently rear-ended, and as soon as the at-fault driver’s insurance company sent an estimate, Chapman Auto got right to work, setting up next steps almost immediately. Within hours, they sent a tow truck to pick up my car for safe transport to the dealership to begin repairs. I am so thrilled and grateful for all of their help and support throughout this process. Everyone that I have spoken with has been so nice and eager to help!Update: The repair work on my vehicle is now complete, and it is FLAWLESS. You would never know that the car was rear-ended. John S., the Body Shop Manager in the Collision Center, is the absolute best. He was so helpful, taught me a ton about the insurance claim process, he advocated on my behalf when dealing with the at-fault insurance company when negotiating parts to be used for the repairs. He was very consistent in his communications, I was kept in the loop throughout the entire process.All in all, the Collision Center team runs like a well-oiled machine, and I am incredibly impressed with the services provided from start to finish. If I am ever in need of body shop work in the future, I will be coming to Chapman Collision Center on Roosevelt Blvd.

2022-05-11These guys were excellent to work with for my Ford Maverick factory order from July 2021. Up-front price guarantee, no deposits, knew how the custom order process worked to avoid any mistakes or delays, and Ed Simpson was very responsive when I made a few changes to my original order. Final delivery was just as great, they had it all ready to go very quickly after it arrived on the transport truck. I flew in to Philadelphia first thing on a Saturday morning and they were ready to get the paperwork done quickly so I could start my road trip back to NC. The waiting period for Ford to actually manufacture the truck was well worth it in the end!

2022-04-28I had a WONDERFUL, STRESS FREE experience at Chapman Dealership on the Boulevard in the Northeast section of Philadelphia. When I arrived the SUV I wanted to test drive was already waiting out front for me. I was greeted right away by Brian, who was AMAZING from start to finish !!! I went for a test drive and told him I wanted to stay off the boulevard which he understood and took me on back roads which put me at ease so I could focus more on the drive of the vehicle . Brian along with the finance department was very helpful with staying within my budget and getting me the best deal possible. While I was waiting for all paperwork to be completed Brain was sure to check in on me and kept great conversation. When everything was completed Brian made sure the gas tank was on FULL, plates were on and handed me two sets of keys with a smile . He then walked me out to my new SUV . Brian Congratulated me again and also told me that I could call him anytime with any questions! I truly would recommend this dealership . They have a wonderful team of people, who are willing to work with you and make your car shopping and purchasing experience one to remember!!! I will forever be thankful!!!

2022-01-13The sales rep I worked with was awesome. No hard sell, nothing like that. Very knowledgeable. I was mostly interested in the difference between different models of the Ford Edge. Brian knew everything and did not push for me to go with any certain model. I am extremely happy with my whole experience.
