I was pretty disappointed with this particular chipotle, I moved here from FL and apparently there standards for portions are different at this location. They were almost out of steak apparently and the blonde girl gave me barely half a spoon full of steak because they didnt have much but if youre going to skimp a customer paying that much for apparently the rice you should offer to give some chicken also instead of completely ripping people off. Also the white rice was not cooked all the way. I understand they just opened this place but that is no excuse for uncooked rice and skimping customer paying full price for less than normal amount. I hope management can teach there employees better.
I’ve walked in and ordered twice now in the evenings and both times I’ve gotten my food promptly and all employees were so kind! With the opening of a new restaurant, things can be chaotic — let alone in today’s climate, I couldn’t imagine being in their shoes. Remember to show kindness and patience to those in the service industry. Walking in and ordering when you’re there allows you to have more control over the quality of your order — do them that favor until they’re on their feet.
I love Chipotle! It is my go to place to get food. Their quesadillas are always AMAZING. I love coming here all the time. They’ve forgotten my sour cream a few times but that’s ok, things happens. I know everyone is trying their best. :) I appreciate all the workers there that work really hard. You guys are all amazing!
Ordered online and got a chicken burrito bowl instead of the barbacoa I paid for. Here’s a pic of the double chicken burrito— it was about 1 inch thick. I get that things are still messed up with the pandemic and that this new location is still trying to get off the ground, but how hard is it to put two servings of chicken on a tortilla? Such a ripoff. I’ll never go back and would advise anyone reading this to save your money. An embarrassing level of quality even for a franchise restaurant.
I travel for a living and frequent this chain. This particular restaurant was dirty. We layed napkins down on the table like a table cloth so we could eat. Napkin dispensers (3) were all empty, 4 flavors of tea offered, 3 were empty. Staff was friendly, portions were generous but I dont recommend eating in.
The staff couldn’t be bothered to wait on us because they were entertaining themselves, laughing hysterically at one another and cursing for whatever reason. They actually made my girlfriend wait because the cashier wanted to know why the other staff were laughing. They didn’t have chicken nor veggies, and their ice machine was broken, and the soft drink machine was warm. We’ll go to the Hermitage location in the future.
Were very sorry because we love this food and visited other restaurants in which made us very happy. The visits to the Butler location were rough at first but we associated that with new opening. However, over a period of time the discrepancies continued, running out of food not just one thing but several, dressing being one of the necessities for a salad was not available on several occasions. On Apr 3rd approx 4:30 p.m. my wife and I stopped for food. However, my wife first asked if there were any dressing available. The answer was no but they were sorry. We decided to leave without ordering anything. Not good representation for Chipotle!
I went to chipotle in Florida at least once a week. This butler location is not up to chipotle standards. I got a bowl, they gave me very little rice. Everything else in it seemed like it was watered down. Felt like I was eating soup. When I cashed out, they inform me they had no change to give me. I had to dig for change in my purse, or pay more for my bowl. Tables were sticky, there was not a clean table.
This was probably the worst restaurant Ive ever been to. I got there at about 12:15, there was only one other girl in front of me. All of the employees looked like they were livid, such angry employees. The veggie salad was a handful of lettuce...I also ordered a fountain drink. The cashier gave me the cup, I paid for my meal and then went to the fountain area to find that it was closed! Why would you sell a fountain drink if it was closed?! The place was gross, very dirty, they were only open for about an hour and a half at that point so I can only assume that the mess was from the day before and there was no cleaning done. Disgusting. I had high hopes for a restaurant that wasnt fast food and was somewhat on the healthier side because we all know Butler desperately needs that. But no, this was a huge let down, Ill never go back. Ive never seen a restaurant so poorly ran. Please close for a few weeks to get up to a decent standard, you should not be charging people for the food and service that is currently being provided.
Online ordering is garbage, 12/19/21 ordered 3 tacos chips and queso. First attempt I got no chips and queso, and my tacos looked like a 4 year old made them. Second attempt, at the same order 2/3 tacos were sour cream and lettuce, and one had a small scoop of meat. And, again no chips. Like the service is poor. Like if your out of chips and items for making tacos let the consumer know..... I dont recommend.So I wanted to do a follow up, 04/14/2022. I decided to eat in. On first appearance the restaurant is incredibly dirty and empty. Tables covered in food scraps, and everyone just kind of standing around. I order, which on closer observation of the food prep I immediately regretted. The kitchen looked absolutely disgusting, and apparently there soda fountain was down too. And I can imagine its not being cleaned either. So, I get my food, and mind you I asked to eat in. Was not given a tray and basically had to make a placement mat out of paper towels. I couldnt eat it, after seeing everything and the basic lack of cleanliness has me wondering if its even safe to eat there. Gave it a second chance still would avoid like the plague
Food is average to good. The restaurant is dirty. Food presentation in the steam table is awful. Looks dry and they always seem to be scraping the bottom of the pans to fill an order. Bathrooms were a mess on last visit and had no TP or paper towels in either bathroom. Disappointed.
Ordered from here about half a dozen times, burritos are never the same and normally have next to no meat in them. Chips have always been hard and stale tasting like the grease never gets changed I would assume. Staff was def not friendly. Pretty bad and I normally dont do bad reviews.
I really enjoy Mexican food. Chipotle can hardly be called a Mexican restaurant. I went in a few days ago around 2:00 P.M. and they were not crowded at all - not like when they first opened. Ordered a salad, and two Beef Tacos. (You point out what you want in the salad.) The young lady said it would be brought to my table when they finished making the crispy taco shells.She did. Brought my salad and two EMPTY taco shells! WHAT?!?! By the way, since when is RICE Mexican fare? I digress ... Besides the food barely resembling actual Mexican food, their menu on the wall only showed some kind of non-meat junk in a wrap - NOTHING about anything Mexican. Worse, the tables were FILTHY - there were only two other eat-in customers, yet the tables were filthy; the trash can was literally overflowing and the floor was a mess.Done with Chipotle .... take it back to California!
This is the first time I went to Chipotle and the last. The food was served cafeteria style and cold. The chicken was burnt and hard . Plus it is a cramped little place where the philosophy seems to be get them in and get people out quickly. Paying $ 9 for a cold and tasteless burrito only adds to bad experience. Stay away
We have been waiting to go and tonight it wasnt busy so we gave it a try. So very disappointed!!! All started when the worker didnt know what a veggie bowl or quesadilla was.... seriously! Then they were our of most ingredients! No guac! Wow! Maybe they need to close the doors and do some serious training and get some supplies! Ill drive to Cranberry to eat Chipolte before going here again. Updated - went in again last week - was told right away we are out of guac, tomato salsa and everything else on the list - we just turned around and left. Such a shame!
I wish i had read the reviews before we went. We had the same experience most people did. They were out of most of the ingredients to make our order, never offered to give us a discount and what we did receive was not good at all. From the Paleo bowl i ordered; i received steak on a bed of lettuce. The steak was super salty and over cooked. If i managed this restaurant i would go over to one of the several surrounding grocery stores and stock up on actual groceries before heading in each day. How do you not have key ingredients like guacamole in a Mexican cuisine restaurant, not to mention all the other ingredients. Boooo
This location was out of too many ingredients at once. There were workers in the back trying to pick up the slack but the execution wasnt there. From working in a Mexican fast food restaurant there are steps you can take to avoid this. One, having pre made ingredients on the side ready and stocked. Another is have the proteins constantly cycling through. The staff would put chicken on, wait and clean off the grill, then go cut up the chicken. It was taking them too long when they had 6 people waiting for food and only one protein out for anyone to eat.I see its a common problem for them to be out of food, I understand that is stressful for the workers and the costumers. At this point it is either you sink or float as a restaurant, management needs to step in and find a better system.
This was one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to. They were out of almost all the ingredients it said they were out of guacamole steak and cheese, and they were really out of pretty much every single thing in the store poor management. They were so desperate and out of ingredients that the majority of the burrito was sour cream.
We eat at the chipolte in cranberry on regular basis and always order the same thing. This was our first visit to the Butler location and the salsa did not taste the same, the barbacoa was much spicier and the chicken had no spice at all. I would think all locations would use the same recipes but it didnt taste like it. The girl doing the toppings was spilling and dripping things and never wiped the counter while waiting on several customers, therefore she was just sliding each order over all the mess. Not one of our best experiences.
Went in to order. Wanted a big quesadilla. They told me they only could give me a big quesadilla if I order on the app. In person they can only give me 2 small quesadillas….😂 how does that even make sense. No guacamole. No rice made so we had a long wait for it to get done. Worst chipotle experience I’ve had. Will drive further to avoid this location moving forward.
I love Chipotle but have been very disappointed with this location so far. I ordered an online order and went to pick it up just for them to say that they were an hour behind on orders and to request a refund through the app. They told me this as well as two other people there to pick up orders. Then I tried to order through Doordash a couple of days ago...I could see on the app that the doordash driver was at the store waiting for my order, then after 20 minutes of them waiting there, they cancelled my order because it wasnt ready.Not sure what the problem is but they need to get it figured out.
We love chipotle and couldnt wait for this one to open in Butler, Pa.. We order on the app because we have our order saved from ordering so many times when we travel. We were so disappointed when we picked up our order and found out they have no chips... No Chips, how is that possible. They didnt know how to give us a refund for the chips.. It gets worst. We live about 30 minutes from the store, we get home our steak is burnt to the point that you cannot eat it. We have ordered Chipotle for years and have never experienced such a disappointment. I hope they get the quality and customer service fixed quickly.
I absolutely love Chipotle. One of my favorite places to eat. Unfortunately this one is not. It is always out of stock on everything. Chicken seems to taste extra seasoned here. Chips are usually stale. Hopefully with time it gets better and more organized. I am praying because once they fix it Ill be going here alot. Ill update my review if my future experience changes.Edit: Went back and now it tastes great. Seems to still be short on chicken alot. Not sure if they dont plan properly or what. Either way it was delicious this time and exactly what I expect from chipotle.
We placed our order online two burritos, two chips and cheese. When picking up order they hurried up and handed the bag over quickly saying we are out of chips sorry. We paid for chips and cheese, youll have to get your refund somewhere else. Never offered up any other solution to the problem.((( Update )))Wow the only food we got for $30 and ended up the burritos were only approx 4-5 inches. Man am I full.
I have been here twice since they opened at this location and my order has been messed up both times through the drive thru lane. The first time I didn’t get half of the items I ordered to be in my bowl. The second time I ordered half chicken and half steak to get pork. Went back through and complained, they made me a new bowl with nothing I ordered in the first one in it!!! Ridiculous. I would rather drive an hour to a different chipotle than eat here again.
One week in and they can’t open the doors on time-or have the ingredients that they do have ready by the on site posted opening time. Google shows a 10:30 opening, door says 10:45; but at 11:00 still not open. Rapping on the door brought the manager to unlock the door and announce they have no tortillas for burritos. The crowd shuffled in and cued up and none of the hot table bins were ready, and staff just had there heads down ignoring us.we left to find a better experience. Get your act together! Walk 500 feet to Walmart for tortillas duh.
Went into this chipotle after ordering our meals online 30 minutes prior, we then proceeded to wait another 20 minutes and then were told to order at the counter. They were out of everything except chicken, which tasted like licking a salt rock, it was rancid. In a group of 7 people no one fully finished their meals, and everyone is now violently ill throwing up, very disappointed and will not be returning to this location.
Would avoid going here for a week or two maybe, until it settles down. Food was great but they were out of a lot of stuff and the wait times are over an hour. Lobby was a mess because stuff got blown around every time they opened the pickup window. Out of almost every drink. Gave me a bowl instead of a burrito, which means they were either out of tortillas and never told me or just got it wrong. Watched a lot of people come in after waiting an hour to pick up their food just to be told they were out of stuff so they didnt get everything they ordered. Please dont yell at the workers there over this, the place is absolutely slammed and I think most of the issues fall onto managements poor planning.
Dont waste your time placing an order online. Cuz youll never get it. They will serve every drive-through car and every customer inside before they even touch your order. Which completely eliminates the whole purpose of placing your order ahead of time to pick up. Just save yourself the time and trouble and go to Moes in Cranberry or a Chipotle in Cranberry theyre ten times better
This might be the worst and gross store I have been to. All seating areas were covered with food and dirty. They were out of several toppings. My wifes tacos were just thrown together poorly. We spent 25 dollars for a burrito and 2 tacos. Just disappointed and wont be back. This place is going to need to do something to turn it around or they are going to loss allot of business once the hype is gone.
Let me just say I LOVE CHIPOTLE. Never had any problems till the butler location (go figure) did an online order. Had to wait over an hour to get my food which I did an online order so I paid in advance. Well they said they didn’t have my order and I ordered at the right location.. they forgot my three drinks and three chips and salsa.. also ordered two kids meals and oddly they put the cheese qausadea in separate containers so the cheese wasnt melted on the wrap or anything… I’d go back but it’s not waiting in line for Two more hours to let them know they messed my order up.. I just wanted what I paid for… if I would have known the wait was so long I would have gone to cranberry. I’m extremely disappointed.
I ordered Chipotle doordash today, I got a chicken burrito bowl and chips and salsa they said they were out of chips and salsa, ok thats fine but they literally put a 1/2 a cup of chicken in a bowl and that was it. I double checked my order it said chicken burrito bowl not Chicken only. They took 90 minutes for a 1/2 a cup of cold chicken to get here. Doordash was great and refunded me my Whole order, but that was unacceptable Chipotle Even for just opening. They should have never accepted my order or turned off their orders , If theyre out of food which I see from other reviews.
This is by far the WORST THIEVING restaurant I have ever encountered in my life!!! They deliver through UberEats. 2 times we order from them delivery. First time they forgot my kids fruit and the chips and salsa we ordered that was $8… today though we think maybe they were having a bad day the other time and this would be better. It wasn’t. Wait over an hour later for delivery. Get the food and they didn’t even give my kid anything to put on his ( kids make their own tacos) my kid got nothing to put in his shells!!! Nothing!!! They don’t send the fruit either. They don’t send our $8 guacamole side we paid for. They don’t send our chips and salsa that was $8 we paid for. What an utter rip off!!! Their phone vm is full you can’t contact them! You can’t contact chipotle customer service anywhere. UberEats has no phone support!! You stole $30 from us and left my toddler starving!! You are the worst people. I hope someone does this to you. Ruins your night. Pay $60 for a meal that has 2 items we ordered in it… whoever bought this franchise and placed it in Butler, PA should have your franchisee license revoked. I will wait until after the holidays to let chipotle know what crooks they have ruining their image and their brand!
We ordered bowls to go on mobile order and when opened the bowls, they were half filled. Also, items missing from the bowl (sour cream and salsa and oh sofritas). Ordered queso which was also half filled. I understand this is newly opened, but it does not meet chipotle standards. At the least, i should get what i paid for.
Ordered one burrito and a drink through the app at 12:40, pickup time through the pickup lane is 12:50. Pull into the lane at 12:50, wait 30 mins for the cars in front of me to be served. Get to the window at 1:20 they ask pickup time I tell them 12:50, I am then informed there are a few orders in front of me but will try and sneak it in because it is just a single burrito. Finally get my burrito at 1:33 and informed out of my drink. They apologize and I get my bag. Pull up to finally eat and the burrito is made with barbacoa and not steak. Oh well maybe they will get better over time, I will stay clear for a while.
So I will say this they did get my order wrong when I ordered online. But I went back in and decided to complain that the order was wrong. The customer service that I received was the best I have ever seen. The manager that was there at 12/18/21 around 10pm was absolutely amazing and the staff were very helpful. They remade my food for me gave me a fountain drink and were willing to give me just about anything on the house. So to the staff and the manager I thank you for making this establishment one of the best places to eat.
Place just opened and should close there doors. Ordered online waited in line for an hour to find out they dont have half my order which was already paid for!! Not sure if ill get refunded or not but definitely avoid this place. The food i did get was cold salty and not the normal chipotle. Asked for manager and was told they dont have one. Just word of advice stay away or you will be disappointed.
Decided to give it a try last night . Walked in they were not busy but the place was filthy. Food all over the floors and tables . Decided to order anyway . Got up to the counter and saw how dirty the kitchen and where the food was behind the counter and walked out . I wouldn’t order food for my dog in this place .
I just wanted to come on here and give the new Butler location props. We waited an hour for food because they were absolutely slammed and they still got our order right and the food was still hot and excellent. No amount of stress test could prepare you for that amount of people. Just wanted to say thank you and keep up the good work, we will be back when the novelty wheres off.
New location opened and by day 3 theyre are out of steak, guacamole, brown rice, LETTUCE, cheese, and beans. So I just paid full price for a bowl and two burritos with HALF a scoop of white rice, chicken and salsa… that doesn’t seem right at all. The bowl was a 3rd full, the burritos were no larger than a tennis ball.
Hardly any meat forgot the tomato sauce and tomatillo red chili sauce hardly and vegetables and sour cream and rice was hard and uncooked. Second time trying the butler location which will be the last time I try it. Cold uncooked rice and half the ingredients missing not a good experience.
Placed a mobile order for pickup within a half an hour, got to the store to pick up and 5 minutes of sitting in the drive-thru I learn that apparently there’s nothing I wanted except rice and cheese, so I wasn’t going to eat that. I was told it would be refunded through the app and it never was. I’d rather just skip the wait and possibility that they don’t have my food and just go to a chipotle I trust that I have yet to have an issue with.
ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING! Love love love Chipotle. Very happy one is now within a reasonable driving distance. Food, staff and atmosphere was top notch! Ive already been here several times and cant wait to go again. If I could go every day I would but that might be a little excessive HAHA.
Only filled up my bowl halfway. out of chicken, out of black beans, asked for a regular bag of chips but was told i could only get large hence no regular bags were filled? didn’t even offer to fill one. could tell employees weren’t happy people…such a disappointing experience!
Went into this location and it was an extreme disappointment. ordering online was useless so my friends and i had to stand in line to receive our food we ordered 30 min prior. they had nothing to offer, the chicken was awful and made all of us sick. we might as well ate straight salt. this location is a whole circus, don’t even bother to show up.

The worst Chipotle ever… they almost let us drive away KNOWING they were out of chips and didn’t give them to us. We waited 10 minutes for the chips, they were stale and we asked for new chips and the guys rolled his eyes at us. We got our chips and opened up are bowls and it was missing the corn salsa and cheese….
Been there twice to eat and was not able to order either time due to inadequate food prepared, staff standing and talking, staff ignoring, and general lack of management direction. Will never go back to try a third time. Whomever owns this particular Chipotle franchise it is a joke.
Every day I have gone up there they have been out of at least four if not more items I have not been able to get a veggie bowl made since the day they opened the day they had veggies they had no cheese no guac no rice I have not been able to successfully get anything from this restaurant so far not to mention waiting in long lines to find out once it’s your turn they’re out of everything they need to put up signs when they’re out of supplies Letting people know at the door that what we want is not available instead of making us wait in a 30 to 45 minute line
This chipotle has problems... forgot the chips in a delivery order. Messed up the bowl too, gave pork instead of steak, only give proper portions if you order double, its a mess. Theyre probably under staffed but its pretty bad. Second time experiencing this too. Double check your order to avoid disappointment
One of the worst managed operations Ive seen in a while, our order was a 30 min wait, which was fine but waited nearly an hour, which is also fine but to see half of the employees standing around was mind blowing that I was still waiting for our food....an employee went on break while I was standing inside waiting and got her food before me
We were so excited about this restaurant coming to Butler. Unfortunately, it has become very disappointing. Most of the time we visit, they are out of the fajita vegetables...many times it is mid afternoon. Other Chipotle restaurants we have visited, there is someone there waiting to greet you...I stood there for a short time, saw that they were out of the veggies and no one was at the line to serve..so I decided to leave and went elsewhere for food. Im still giving 3 stars, only because I love Chipotle food, but this particular one is so disappointing.

2022-03-22Very friendly staff, it makes ordering a lot more relaxed and personal. Sometimes they are out of chicken and a few other things which is fine, you just have to come at the right time.The only issue I have is that sometimes they are very conservative with how much of everything they give to make a burrito or bowl. I get that there should be more for later but $8.96 is kinda a lot of just 5 or 6 things wrapped up. Still a good place to eat in or take out.

2022-04-30This was our first time visit. The food was very good. But the place was a mess. The counters were filthy with food. When I placed my order, the girl slid a clean container down the counter through spilt food. That’s gross!! I get they’re busy. But clean up between customers!! Take a rag and wipe the counter so that there is no cross contamination.

2021-12-09Excellent chipotle experience. I walked in right when they opened, so not everything was ready to go. I didnt get to have my usual order, but I branched out and still thoroughly enjoyed my burrito. And it was FAT. The burrito I got reminded me of the burritos Chipotle used to give you back in the day. Dont get me wrong theyre still usually quite large, but this one was busting at the seams.New location, so its very clean and just starting to get some steam going. Im sure this wont be my last visit. Good work today!

2022-05-18My wife and I love chipotle but honestly, whoever does the food order needs to be fired! They RARELY have the entire menu available. There have been multiple times where they dont have steak, onions and peppers, guacamole or sour cream. The best way to describe it is disappointing, at best. You need to do better.

2022-03-30Very delicious. Couldnt find anything to complain about with our meal. The burritos were on fire and the nachos were on point. Definitely a fan of that spicy salsa as well. Gonna be going back again for sure!

2022-04-21We have been to the new Chipotle in Butler three times. After eating at Chipotles in Ohio and near Pittsburgh, we were very excited to hear one was coming to Butler; however, all three experiences have been incredibly disappointing. The restaurant is always dirty. Every time we have been there they are out of several items; no matter what time of day it is. What they do have, they are scraping the bottom to give you. Today, the last time we will be going here, 2 of the 3 burritos were a quarter of the size they normally are. Chipotle is known for its burritos, and when you pay $10 for one (plus extra for your sides), you should get what you pay for. We will not be returning the the Butler location. Would give zero stars if possible.

2021-12-15Decided to stop in with my boyfriend, we were excited there was finally one in area... what a mistake ended up leaving after reading this sign they were completely out of everything. It’s a shame they just opened and I will never go back. After posting that picture I got multiple messages about people waiting for 2 hours for their online orders... just don’t go it’s a waste of time!!

2022-05-20I normally would rate this as pretty good place as I normally buy it on the app and never had any issues but today I ordered my usual stuff. I got home an hour after picking it up at the restaurant and it was a completely wrong order and I was really looking forward to what I had gotten ( steak salad) but instead got some sort of pulled beef I think with sour cream and corn? I honestly can pull up the recipe and pictures of what I got if chipotle would like to make it right

2022-04-27The food was good but the place is filthy. Garbage cans are overflowing and no one emptied them during the hour we were there. Tables are coated with food and no one is wiping them. Lemonade drink containers near fountain drinks are empty and not being refilled. Gal at checkout is playing with gift cards.
