The rooms were ok, not great (we had two rooms). One of the rooms was filthy. I chalk it up to not having enough staff. We also had rooms that faced the highway (this might be even-numbered rooms). BIG mistake. You can hear every car and truck going by. Confirm that the odd-numbered rooms are away from the highway. It will make a big difference.
Me, my wife and 3 kids stayed there for the weekend while we attended motorama at the pa farm show complex. There isn’t anything bad to say about this hotel. The staff was friendly especially during our breakfast the one lady was asking the kids if there was anything they wanted. I didn’t get her name but if you’re reading this review, thank you! My 1 year old son pushed his plate off the table and everything ended up on the floor and she immediately was there to help clean it up which I felt bad about but she got him more eggs and French toast while my wife was cleaning him off so again thank you! As far as the room, it was clean and everything worked as it should.The kids loved the indoor pool, they actually wanted to leave the motorama show early both nights just to go swimming! We would definitely stay here again. We will most likely attend motorama next year and this hotel will be our first choice!
Hotel is very clean. Staff is amazing and accommodating. The rooms are well priced as well. The breakfast has good food choices. Highly recommend.
Check-in was smooth. Beds are ok and room is clean. However little things need to be fixed. The tv doesn’t work in our room, (room 312) there is a wire to where the phone is supposed to be and if you need to come down the elevator you have to call the front desk so they can send it up to you…I don’t think we will stay here again.
Dan, friendly staff, quiet, good breakfast, good price. Good location off the highway. Some GPS will try to take you on Gettysburg Rd, which has been closed off so just be aware of that.

There is no hot tub. They had biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs for breakfast. I would stay here again and recommend it to anybody whos looking for a hotel in the area Its easy and the customer service is remarkable no complaints It was clean and have what we needed thanks for making the stay very easy I just want to make sure everybody understands there is no hot tub here there is a pool and fitness center the beds are comfortable the bathrooms And the rooms are spacious I dont think youll be disappointed, enjoy your stay

Basic Fitness center! 24 hours variety of coffee & tea Negative: Bed sheets were stained. Second floor rug had Clorox stains Bathroom wall had a small hole and stains. Other guess had loud music and open door, disrupting others tranquillity. No COVID -19 enhanced cleaning. Cold and dirty lobby tea water.
My husband and I spent one night in the jacuzzi and king size bed room. The staff was friendly. The room was clean, the jacuzzi was very nice. We used the workout room and the pool; both were adequate. Breakfast was a choice of cereal and granola bars, pre-packaged individual hot or cold cereals, hard-boiled eggs, individual pre packaged muffins, waffles and pancakes. Theres also coffee, tea and juices. We werent thrilled with the breakfast options, but there are a few very nice restaurants that serve delicious breakfasts within a couple miles. We recommend C.C.s and The Sunlight Diner. We will definitely stay here again if need be.
Negative: I had booked a two queen bed suite, but was given a king suite instead. I was told the reservation was for a king, but my email conformation shows 2 queen beds.
By far one of the most friendly hotels weve stayed at! Every single staff member we met had a smile on their face. The free continental breakfast was delish and had so many choices to offer. The hotel was very clean and the room was a good size (we stayed in a King Suite). The purpose of our trip was to pick up a new puppy for our family; everyone loved the puppy and made our experience so comfortable. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pool and the broad variety of food/beverages at the continental breakfast was perfect for all ages. We will definitely stay here again!
The staff was very accommodating during a time when they were booked solid and due to the weather had some staff shortages but you wouldnt have ever known. The room was clean and a great value. The indoor pool is a little small but well maintained. Free coffee in the front lobby to make sure you are awake for your meetings. They also provide a list of local restaurants for all tastes. I would absolutely stay here again.
Nice room and price. Had a breakfast which looked good, but we didnt eat there. Quiet room at end of the hall.
Positive: The breakfast crew was amazing!!! they made you feel like you were right at home. Negative: The rooms were not cleaned very well. The blankets and pillows had rips & stains. And the indoor pool was beyond icy cold we were unable to enjoy it at all & that is the reason we picked this hotel
It’s was good overall. I like that it was all wood floors and the room itself was very large. The breakfast was better thank I expected. The only reason i give it 4 stars is because I saw a few small knats in the bathroom but that’s was it. I would stay here again.
We stayed two nights last week because it was between Hershey Park and Gettysburg. Price was very reasonable and the staff was wonderful!!! The young man who covered the desk at night could not have been more helpful and the breakfast ladies were awesome. Breakfast was very nice both mornings with a choice of hot dishes and cereal/pastries. The kids had fun in the pool & I appreciated that rather than overpriced soda vending machines there was a small snack bar with a nice selection of cold drinks. Overall we enjoyed the stay & would recommend it, especially if you will out sightseeimg, the price is great :-)
Weve stayed in this chain multiple times due to the ability to handle a family of 6 in 1 room. Unfortunately we had multiple issues with our visit to this location; while we had a reservation, we were given a key to an occupied room - twice. They then did a quick sheet change on an uncleaned room and offered us that. After hauling all our stuff up for the third time, we discovered the room didnt have a couch - there was no way we were going to sleep 3 to a bed. So back to the front desk we go, at which time we are directed to the hotel down the road, assuring us they have rooms and they will pick up the tab. Of course they had no availability and so we were forced to go back and take the no couch room, and cram 2 roll aways in it. And of course we had to wipe it down with our own wipes since it hadnt been properly cleaned. In the end I gave 3 stars rather than 1 as they fully refunded us - however I had to call back the next day to talk to the manager to make this happen. Their not knowing which rooms had people in them and giving out keys to occupied rooms is a big safety concern
This hotel is super clean and has a friendly staff! We were having a hard time finding a place to stay in town that didnt have horrible reviews or wanted an arm and leg for a night and this hotel was perfect! Close to town and things to do but also off the beaten path so super quite. Highly suggest booking here and be sure to book through the hotel themselves even if its a bit more expensive then what is shown on Google. That why you arent dealing with a third party.
This was a great place to stay. The hotel was very clean. The beds were fairly nice. They had an amazing free breakfast. The staff were so nice. There are many great things to eat in this area.

The couch and another chair had a stain on it. The other chair was actually the worst this is in room 218! But the furniture was sanitized and disinfected and there were no bugs the bathroom was pretty clean. Found about 6 peices of total tiny hair, but it was not a ball. I had no problem throwing them on the floor. Bathroom wall had a small stain but the whole bathroom was basically stain-free. The beds, pillows,sheets, and blankets were comfortable. No loud racket or yelling. Just hope you guys can put new furniture in room 218. Tv had many channels. Fitness room had kind of a funky smell but it was definitely berable. The pool was open. Lobby was very nice and cozy coffee was good breakfast was excellent. I love their breakfast buffet. Wish the room was carpet, but It is easier to clean floor than carpet. Ac worked great. Coffee maker was dirty, but every hotel is like that and plus I dont use the coffee maker you can just get in the lobby for free. Water presser was decent. Towels were clean, and there were plenty! Desk was nice. Lights worked good. The only annoying thing that got on my nerves was the fitted sheet will not stop coming off and I had to keep putting it back on. But other than that very good stay. Will be coming back!!!
Brought a group. Have a little issue, but they corrected it. Helpful staff. Kids had fun in the pool!

Clean establishment, nice rooms, very friendly staff. Fire alarm went off due to a child pulling the lever. Front desk clerk Shannon did a great job handling it. Breakfast is not the buffet due to Covid but the spread they put out was good. We will stay again.

Great experience! Loved the pool, and the gym! Room was a little hot and I couldnt change the temp because the battery was low, but I didnt complain. They probably would have fixed it if I did. They were more than accommodating for the 5 12 year olds and 1 4 year old I had with me. Im only giving 4 out of 5 because of the room temp, but we all had a great time. Bed was comfortable. We had two tvs and a pull out couch. More than enough room!
I stayed in room 219. The window screens were so ripped up, that it looked like a bear had crawled through. The electrical plug in the bathroom does not work. Nothing will stay plugged in. The plugs fall completely out of the wall, so you can’t use the hairdryer or any type of hair styling utensil in the bathroom. The refrigerator sounded like it was about to blast off. Hair on the bathroom floor and the desk was sticky to the touch , like a soda had been spilled on it. I’ve stayed at many Country Inns and Suites, but will never stay at or recommend this location.

Wonderful place to spend the night. Clean, comfortable room. Hot breakfast of eggs, sausage, and french toast, waffles, coffee 24 hours, great staff. Appeared to have been recently remodeled, very nice.

I will not stay here again. This hotel was rated well by two hotel booking sites... however, after staying here I am forced to figure these reviews were submitted by staff and friends. Cleanliness was not a priority as the bath room was dirty and there was ketchup on the wall and light switch. During this pandemic, where we want to feel that our environments are safe and clean, this hotel missed the mark. On top of not meeting standard, it also is in desperate need of a remodel. Overall, not good. Spen your money somewhere else. Should have known it was too good to be true.
This is a very dirty hotel. We had ants and spider webs in our room. The dirty and dust is unacceptable. There was food particles under the beds and around the baseboards, probably the reason we had ants. I would NOT recommend staying here. They would not let us changed rooms because they were booked. I asked for clean towels and they told me they were out but I could bring down my clean ones and they would wash them. I have pictures but could not post them.

This is a decent hotel. It is mostly clean and the staff is friendly. Nothing over the top that sets them apart from the rest. For the price and location, they are efficient. My one true complaint is the free hot breakfast. We stayed for 3 nights. The first morning, it was hashbrowns with spinach and chai seeds, canadiam bacon, and turkey bacon. Not very good choices for children, amd yhe hashbrowns were gross even drenched in salasa. They were mushy and not cooked well. The second morning consisted of soggy frech toast sticks, eggs, turkey sausage patties, and prok sausage links. The sausage was boiled or steamed and undercooked. took one bite and it was patially raw. Im surprised to hear of no one getting sick. However, the final morning was ok. Sausage gravy, biscuits, and home fry potatoes. Although the potatoes were barely cooked, they were at least warm and tasted good covered in gravy. Where were the meat options though on this day? What happened to good old fashioned bacon and eggs? I understand offering a pork free option, but the entire meal should not be focused on that. They seememd to forget that there were kids in the hotel who might like more that just cold cereal. Another note, if housekeeping service is requested, and towels are taken, they should be replaced with freash ones. It sucks trying to hunt down towels at 11pm when returning from a long day and just wanting to shower.
At first I thought it was wonderful then come to find out the pool is Tony not that clean looking. Everything looks clean in the hotel room and everything was fine until I lay down to go to sleep at 11 o’clock at night ended up leaving my room at 12:30 AM because I got bit by something and I felt like something was crawling on me. Would not give me any money back or even try to compensate me because they said they found nothing in the room. I will never stay here again. I even asked if they could just give me another room but because they had nothing available I left.
Giving 3 stars only because the front desk staff was friendly. This hotel was not as clean as advertised and also stunk of weed and was so noisy. Not exactly great when you’re traveling with a small child. There were no sheets for the pull out bed, stains all over the couch and sitting chair and only two small towels in the bathroom.

Walked in with high expectations. Room was nice and cool after a long day being outside in sun. Then I opened up cabinet to put in some of our food, then low and behold there is food already there! Gross! Fridge smelled liked fish and there was a half eaten container of I don’t know what! For real??? Called down to front desk to ask for room reassignment just to have her hem and haw. Sending someone up to clean it. (And still waiting!) And my gps was sending me through a closed road! Evening not starting out too well
A nice hotel but the bathrooms need updating. Peeling wall paper, rusty vent cover, dingy grouting, etc. The beds and room however were very comfortable. Free wifi was fast as well.

The place was clean and the staff were very pleasant....but the rooms were old and needed alot of work. Pool was warm....but towels were an issue. Breakfast was as good as you could expect during a pandemic.
Couldve been cleaner, the bottom of the tub was nasty with dirt. We couldnt get enough towels because the housekeepers No habla English [yeah right u habla that Dinero when that paycheck comes tho] and the shower curtains was kind of dirty...besides the usual hustle and bustle of noisy guests, we enjoyed our stay. The front desk people were VERY NICE they all deserve raises.

Our third year staying here on business. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the lobby for winding down after travel. Everything was clean, staff wearing masks, friendly greetings.Breakfast was tables of grab and go items in the lobby. With current health concerns, this was an acceptable choice with good options.
The reason I didnt give 5 stars is because I ended up cancelling my reservation for personal reasons. However, in terms of excellent customer service standards, Kaitlyn was very attentive, courteous, patient and kind. A big thumbs up! I would have definitely stayed there if my plans had not been cancelled and the next time I need to book a hotel stay in the area, I will chose Country Inn & Suites and then I can assuredly give all 5 stars!
5 star because I like the room with the jacuzzi tub& king size bed.-3 stars because the hotel is non smoking so I have to go outside for a cig, & yet the room across from me can smoke enough pot for it to stink up the hall& my room. Told the girl at the desk, we’ll see if she does anything.

Clean room, good internet, easy checkin and easily accessible coffee in the a.m. whether you chose to eat breakfast or not. I could grab and go the coffee without having to get involved with any breakfast buffet etc.
Every time we are in town we stay here. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. Breakfast has my partner up at 6am every day just to be first. The cook there is so great, she is a sweetheart and always makes small talk and remembers us by name every time. Rooms are clean and spacious. And front desk very helpful. We love this place.

Its been along time since I have had such a fantastic experience at a hotel. Everyone was great bent over backwards to help us. I got lost and the manager stayed on the phone and walked me street by street to the hotel. I had been stopped on 81 for 3 and a half hrs due to a traffic accident and was exhausted and got lost. Out of a10 your hotel gets 12. Thanks for a great experience.
Nice hotel. I was there for a meeting ion the meeting room. Facility was clean. Front desk staff was friendly and acknowledged me when ok entered the lobby.The meeting room met our needs and the bathrooms across the hall made it convenient so didnt have to walk around thew building.
Really liked the hotel. Front desk staff was phenomenal. Breakfast staff was accommodating as well. My one complaint would be the housekeeping. Subpar job from an outside contractor. They definitely need better training that would equal this hotels standard. Thanks for the upgrade. Would definitely recommend. Hanna is the best!

My daughter stayed here while in town. She stated it was great. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only reason Im giving it 3 stars because the non smoking room had very strong smoke smell.
The front desk staff are great. Not sure about maid staff. I know being there for 2 weeks my bed sheets were never changed. There was a bit of a dried mud clump in the middle of the floor for a week until I cleaned it. We stayed here years ago and it was a good hotel. I will say the matress and pillows sucked horribly.
I recently stayed at this located for a couple days while in town for training for work. The hotel itself is clean and seems to be decently cared for. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and adequate. I found the bed comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of clean towels.I unfortunately got a room towards the expressway, so I got to listen to road noise all night. It didnt bother me to much, but some people may be more sensitive to noise. If you are a light sleeper, we will want a room on the non-highway side.I didnt utilize the pool or other facilities to give any comments there.All in all, I found the hotel acceptable and on-par with most other moderately priced offerings.
From the very start at this hotel it was a positive experience. The Manger at the front desk was nothing short of courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. I got into my room, it was clean and even smelled good. I enjoyed the complimentary drinks coffee and cookies. The pool area and spa as well. The breakfast was actually pretty good. Make sure you try the waffles! Every employee I encountered in the hotel met you with a smile and a hello. It really makes your day a little better. During my visit they were doing construction / remodeling and the crew that they hired was very professional and very friendly as well. They waited for you to come by, said things like excuse me sir, apologizing if they thought they were in your way and even greeted you with a hello and have a good day. Everything about this hotel was great! I know I will be back up here in the future for business and this will be my hotel choice! If corporate some day sees this, I wish I got his name (my bad) the manager you have at the hotel is a perfect fit for your company.
Very nice rooms! We stayed as a family of 4 and our room worked out wonderfully! We even brought our dog! Very spacious and comfortable! Close to events and parks! Hershey was close enough and plenty of food options around the hotel too! The breakfast was really good. Had a good spread of food for everyone! Staff was also very friendly and pleasant, which is hard to come across these days, especially in that kind of setting. Rooms were also quiet, so there was no loud slams as doors closed! The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub!
One of the nicest hotels Ive stayed at. Very quiet area. Room was nice and clean, the bathrooms and showers were nice if u wanted to relax in a bubble bath you could the showers were deep...very friendly staff .
After many years of attending Corvettes at Carlisle and being very dissatisfied with other hotels, we finally found a good one! The Country Inn and Suites West Harrisburg was clean and nicely appointed. I was pleasantly surprised with absence of carpet in our room, but I actually preferred the clean flooring. Accurate temperature control and good air quality. The only thing I missed was having a safe in the room; Ill request one next time. Also, I always leave the do not disturb sign on the door, yet the day we were to check out, there was a knock at the door and the sound of a key card trying to open the door, startling my wife, while the sign was clearly on the door handle. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay and will return next year.
Unclean. Unsanitary. Staff was not helpful. Room did not get cleaned, even after numerous times of us asking for it. We got into beds with sheets that hadnt been changed, straight from a floor that hadnt been cleaned. Into a bathtub that hadnt been scrubbed. With a door that didnt have a lock on it. The guest washer was too small to even do one load of laundry. The pool was tiny and didnt smell or feel clean. We were very disappointed with our stay here. This was, by far, the worst hotel Ive stayed in ever.
This hotel was dirty and the staff was unwelcoming. Disappointed that they closed the pool with no explanation - it was one of the reasons we chose the place on our trip to Hershey.
Unfortunately, previous reviews may be inflated. Stayed 4 nights.Like: Fairly clean, staff is courteous, and food nicely displayed. Bed were neither good nor bad.Dislikes: No USB ports, heater was so old and loud it woke me up every 10 - 15 minutes. It wasn’t just the rattle and hum but strong room vibrations. Breakfast was awful taste wise, and made McDonald’s seem good by comparison. Unfortunately, I was gone 8 hours on my last day and came back to a dirty room as they were running very far behind. My room was to be cleaned at about 4 pm, but I didn’t want the interruption while working.I would give them 2.5 stars, but it not an option. Better quality food and heater/ac unit upgrade would make this a solid 3 stars in the future - a budget friendly choice.
When I checked in I was given keys to a room not cleaned. Then went to my room and the floor was sticky. The bedding on my sons bed was stained with we dont know what. We asked for new bedding and they changed it, but there was no other housekeeping services done to our room the entire stay, 3 nights.
The rooms were recently updated (laminate flooring, etc.). Front desk staff really nice. Rooms were fairly clean except for a teeny bit of mold on the shower curtain, floors seemed kind of dusty, but that’s ok, we’re not that picky. What I really liked was our room was SO spacious! However the price was $150.00 which seemed a little steep, not sure if that was the standard type of room? The breakfast area is kind of small, but the attendant was SUPER nice.....making conversation with everyone, offering any assistance, just a very nice and warming presence about her. However, there was a tip jar so not sure if that was the ambition behind the service. Coffee is in the lobby, not the breakfast area, but it’s in the next room so that was ok. Breakfast was good, waffle maker, juices, danishes, eggs (I think “fake eggs”), French toast, sausage, cereals, yogurt, oatmeal, etc.
Car was damaged in parking lot. Night Manager said surveillance cameras would be able to identify how it occurred but couldnt access cameras. Day manager said cameras did not cover the parking area in front of building where car was parked. Very disappointed .
Lost a cord for a video gaming console there and called an hour after I checked out, they said theyll call when theyll find it. Been 3 weeks now and I know I left it on the desk. The stay itself was fine but nothing spectacular, but they never got back to me.
Stayed at this hotel only one night on a return trip. It was a slightly cheaper hotel for the area. The rooms were nice and clean with all the usual amimatieas. The bathroom in the room was very large and had lots of counter space to put all our things. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows were so flat the almost werent there. The breakfast had a large variety and was well stocked, Id say that was the best hotel breakfast I had during my whole trip. All in all this was a great hotel to stop at and I would gladly go back to it if I was ever in the area.
Very comfy beds, fluffy pillows, really clean. We got a great price for our room. The price was true to their website. There was a lot of highway noise, but there isnt a lot you can do about that except for ask for a room on the opposite side of the building (if you know what I mean). Breakfast was good and had a lot of options. There is a place you can buy some snacks/ramen/fruit/Mac n cheese if youre hungry during night hours.
Its okay... the staff is friendly but rooms are not being cleaned due to COVID and breakfast is prepackaged items that you put in a brown paper bag (again COVID, which is understandable). The hotel is not near anything - there is a McDonalds but thats about it. The drains in our room (sink and shower) drain very slowly - there is about 3 inches of standing water by the time you are done showering. Just not what I expected from a Country Inn....

This hotel is great! Spacious room, nice breakfast and coffee. The price is very fair, and staffs are friendly. I will definitely stay in this hotel again if I am around Harrisburg in the future. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!
Very nice hotel. Staff very friendly. Bfast nice variety considering the pandemic. Lots of restaurants nearby. Loved no carpet room.
A little overpriced for the quality of the rooms. Bed is so so. Small lobby, the facelift only got them so far. Very noisy near the highway side.
Overall this hotel was ok. It was clean enough, and the breakfast was good. On the other hand, the night help was not very friendly, either to me, or the potential customer whom he was on the phone with when I arrived. In addition, the hotel allows dogs. Do you know what its like to get woken up at 6am by a yipping dog in the room above you that barks for 3 straight hours? Yeah, I do. Not fun after a long day of travelling.
The rooms have been recently given a face lift: new laminate flooring in the rooms, new furniture. The flooring is nice, but the surface is uneven, so that the furniture/cabinets rock back and forth. It was enough to make items roll off the top. They use satellite TV which is slow to change/react to the remotes. The last 2 times I have been there in the past 6 months, the TV remotes have not fully worked. However, they are VERY pet friendly. There was no pet odor. I smelled more stale cigarette smoke from outside the entry than form any dogs. Breakfast was fair: a bit heavy on the carbs, Belgium waffles, cold cereals, toast/bagels, etc.I would have preferred eggs/sausage/bacon rather than chipped beef, gravy & biscuits. BUT the PRICE is AWESOME. So you have to decide what you really want vs. need. I will be coming back.
The floor of my room had something spilled on it by a previous guest that was sticky and it was never cleaned. The traffic noise from the highway that runs right past the room lead to restless nights and the no longer clean the rooms every day.
Been here twice, would rate higher, but the pillows are too soft which gives a bad night sleep. I do however like the make over to the rooms from carpet to the new hardwood like flooring. I was concerned at first but there was no noise from the rooms above. Friendly staff and continental breakfast is good.
Nice hotel. Only problem I have is the note in the room about saving thr planet by not washing everything everyday. But when you get down stairs Styrofoam plates and plastic utensils everywhere. Seems like they are more intrested in saving money. But everyone was super nice.

We stay at this location because it is convenient to rt 15. We come multiple times a year for business.. and this was the worst experience we have had.... They were supposed to have free breakfast- on weekends from 7am-1030am. However when we went down at 830- there was no hot breakfast- the 2 employees in charge of doing the breakfast- 1 was playing board games with some kids(not their own) and the other was busy talking on her cellphone. Not sure what was going in in the area that weekend- but there were a ton of kids running up and down the halls at 530am- and ending around 11pm. This has been by far the worst experience we have ever encountered staying here, and we have been staying at this location for years multiple times a year.
Feeling stuck between a rock and a hard place. Every few months, we drive from Maine to Mechanicsburg to visit my 88 year old mother. We first discovered Country Inn two years ago because of a great on line deal. We have continued returning for the great service, clean and comfortable rooms, pool and hot tub, and continental breakfast. When we came last time in March, the hot tub was gone due to it being a liability. Ok, disappointed ,but I understand. Now this trip, we are very disappointed. We stayed four nights. We went to have our complementary breakfast only to find out the orange juice part of the machine is and will be out of order for our stay, again we understand but find that disappointing as well. Now, on to the cleanliness of the room. Upon arriving, there was an empty toilet paper roll in the dispenser and a half used one on a grab bar. Not impressed. We took a photo because we were so unimpressed. The second evening, we return to find the same toilet paper situation and a new roll added on the grab bar. Keep in mind the empty roll was still there, plus a floss stick was in the middle of the bathroom floor. The bed, well, how to describe, was just a mess. An attempt at making it had been made but a subpar effort as the pillows were askew and comforter was extremely wrinkled. Again, not the quality I have come to expect from Country Inn.We took our issues to Hannah, front desk manager. We showed photos. We emailed her photos. Evening three we return to the same toilet paper situation,same floss stick on the floor, the bedroom floor had not been swept, the bed was not made well and shampoo and conditioner not replaced since we used them the first night. We again went to talk with Hannah. She forwarded the photos to her boss and has heard nothing back. This is extremely frustrating. Though it seems Hannahs hands are tied since housekeeping is hired from an outside source. So, what am I supposed to do? Our last night here, not one issue has been resolved. The floss on floor in bathroom is stillthere as I type this, floors not swept, bed made horribly, hotel out of shampoo and conditioner (waiting for some from another hotel) and you guessed it two empty rolls of toilet paper left , one on roll and one on top, and now two new rolls on top of the grab bar. I travel enough to know this is the worst housekeeping I have seen. Am I to stop coming to my home away from home because of an issue that cant be controlled or return to have these same conditions continue? Please advise, what should a loyal customer do? I am extremely unhappy.July 4-8 2019
Great hotel, I was in town for a conference. Staff were super friendly, it was clean and less than half the price of near by competitors. Typical hotel breakfast but what more can you ask for
We enjoyed our upgrade to a suite and appreciated the full, hot breakfast that was included in the stay. However, we were very disappointed that the indoor pool was closed for repairs the only morning we were there as it was the only reason I booked this particular hotel (we actually went out of our way geographically just for the pool). The decor is also rather outdated so that it makes things feel less clean than they actually are. There was no ice in the ice machines, and our toilet kept running on and off. The blackout curtains also didnt meet the wall so that the light that beamed in through the opening woke us up at the crack of dawn. Staff member at breakfast was very nice, though the front desk person (a female) was barely apologetic at all about the pool when I politely said that we were very disappointed in the pool being closed because it was the whole reason we stayed here. Id be on the fence about whether or not Id stay here again.

Hotel is in the process of being renovated but everywhere is still functional. Looks great and the maintenance isnt messy. The suite is well sized and comfy. Hotel employees have been kind and helpful! Overall great place to stay for several days!

No carpeting on the floor in the rooms. No drawers to put your things in. Mattress is terrible. Chair in corner is old and worn, arms are dirty from use. Very disappointed. Pictures on website shows carpeting on floors. I absolutely hate no carpet in hotel rooms. Not only is it noisy, I hate waking on the floor in my bare feet. Gross.
Im giving it a five star rating not because everything little thing was perfect but because the management went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible. A funeral brought my family to town and we needed 5 rooms, no problems with the instant on location bookings (and at a lower-than-online price). But one of my grandkids had a birthday during our stay and the management let us use the conference room at no charge. What a blessing. Thank you very much.
We really enjoyed the stay. Pool and sauna functioning. Had to ask for towels for the pool. Mattresses could use and upgrade in my opinion... too soft and shakey. Staff was very friendly and helpful..

Im a truck driver with a dog, room was fine, customer service was extraordinary!!! I lost my phone charger, front desk provided me with her own personal charger. The next day my semi wouldnt start, front desk used her personal car to charge our batteries, saved us hundreds of $$$. Service at this hotel was over and above the call of duty. By the way, their pool and whirlpool were both fantastic

Was willing to give them another chance given it being a holiday, manager promised comp if I emailed her, never replied ducking calls..1. Upon arrival, I spent 20 minutes waiting at an empty reception desk. (note when Valerie and her son showed up she indicated she was busy changing a refrigerator).2. While waiting another waiting guest warned me about his mattress smelling or urine and advised me to check our beds.3. Also while waiting another guest came up very belligerent cussing and complaining while my 10yr son was waiting in the lobby.4. The room was supposed to have two full beds but instead a bed and sleep sofa is what we received.5. The AC unit in the room could barely keep it cool during the day.6. The sleep sofa was torture to sleep on.7. Pool area floor was slimy in certain sections.8. Hot tub had some black stuff floating in it.9. Facilities Didnt do our room after my wife asked, instead wife got sheets and towels and did it.

Bed bugs! Stayed here about a month ago for work. Itched for the first couple of days and couldnt figure out why. Woke up one day with a dead bedbug next to my head. Wound up having to be late to work because I had to switch rooms. Then I had to was absolutely everything I could, spray what I couldnt down with alcohol. It was a nightmare. Ive been traveling for work for over 3 years and Ive never seen bedbugs till now. They refunded my bosss company card for the room for the night, but that doesnt do me any good.Breakfast isnt your normal country inn breakfast either btw. Its kinda gross. The entire place isnt a normal country inn. Both rooms I stayed in were dingy and dirty, with broken light fixtures and shower rods. The hot tub...I had to think about it before I got in. Neither the hot tub nor the pool looked clean. Front desk staff was none too intelligent or eager to do much of anything but play on their phones. Ill think twice before I stay in another country inn.
This place was just ok. The staff was friendly, but not outstanding. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was pretty bad. Not a lot of vegan options. Overall I think it’s a nice place to stay if you’re in a budget.
Overall a good hotel. We were here for a 5 days. Definitely can say it is a GOOD VALUE. Good spot if you are in town a few days, dont want to spend a lot of $ on lodging yet get a decent place. The hotel and rooms are clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Free WiFi with decent speed. It has good accessibility to the highway for getting around. The beds are okay. Breakfast was decent. Coffee and tea options were reasonably good. Certainly the area is safe! I would say it is a great option for a group in the area for a youth sporting event or if you are staying a few days visiting. The only real downside here is that the walls are on the thin side so you get a fair amount of guest noise coming through. They are doing a fair amount of renevation to update the place, so that is a positive! Nonetheless as I said it is a good value and I would stay again.
The rooms were clean, the fitness room is a little on the small size, but utilizing it off hours allows for you to get access to treadmill. Breakfast was also fresh and well prepared.
Clean and friendly atmosphere. Girls at desk were great. Pool was great for kids. Hot tub good for adults. Despite what people say about the free breakfast it was good and alot to chose from. All 7 of us extremely happy with breakfast. Close to lots of restaurants, and shops. Roundtop only 20 mins away. Will definitely recommend and visit again.
Very clean hotel with great friendly staff. Rooms were clean. We stayed in a double queen suiet. Just be cautious if you book with other travel sites as we did, and booked a king sized suiet, and when we got there they apologized, and put us in the queen as they had no king sueits available.Pool and hot tub were nice. Hot tub was quiet large which was nice, in contrast to the pool. But cant complain as it was a nice size as well, only 3-5ft deep.Breakfast was included. Decent selection, though the sausage wasnt the best. Cereals both cold and hot, a yogurt parfait station, cheese omletes, sausage, waffle station, fresh apples and oranges along with some bagles, bread for toast, along with a few other things.
Great overall experience my only complaint was at checkin being told they had to check if there was an available room depsite the fact i had reserved my room and that me and my girlfriend drive 5 hours to get there. Nonetheless my room was available and qas a great room overall
Location/view can be better. The indoor pool and hot tub are small. The room and hotel are really clean. Breakfast included is wonderful. If this hotel had an outdoor oool. This place would be better
Really nice upscale hotel. This is where the elite stay. The environment is always nice and inviting. Did a uber eats delivery, and asked for a cup of coffee on the way out. 10/10 for lobby coffee. Very nice.
It was a family visit our first and it was great..The staff was very nice and friendly. The Suites was very clean. Pool was clean& the HOT tube was great. ALL AROUND GREAT VISIT..Also food right down the block open late,pizza & McDonalds and a corner store for those from the hood..[lol]
We were recently displaced for 6 days due to a fire in our apartment. after finding out that our insurance wouldnt cover anything, we skipped between a few hotels in the area (why not? were blowing thru our savings anyway.) we stayed here for 2 nights - 2 adults, 2 little kids, 1 dog.pros:- indoor pool and hot tub. kind of extra slippery, and the pool isnt very warm, but its clean and serves its purpose.- very clean in the areas not being remodeled.- awesome shower, lots of places have no pressure or dont get hot enough, this one is excellent.- pet friendly, no size restrictions, and we were placed on the first floor near an exit.- nice fridge and microwave, great wifi, standard comcast channel lineup.cons:- probably because of the renovations, but the breakfast was not great. cereal and toast, and stuff in another room and stuff in the back of that room and just not convenient or good.- the renovations are just annoying in general, the guys work past dinnertime and have stuff laying everywhere.- the walls are very thin. we could hear a TV on one side and a person talking on the other. not to mention bathroom noises, geez.definitely due for the renovation being completed, but clean inside the rooms. maybe a little overpriced for what is currently available, but it worked for us since we didnt want to stay on a fourth floor anymore. staff we dealt with were polite and accommodating. would recommend in a pinch.

I would rate the property a mix of 3s and 4s but the staff makes it a 4. My wife and I are African Americans, the reason I say this is we have stayed at other properties that have called themselves a 4 and even a 5 but they were less than receptive to diverse cutlets, but for it to be our first time here, we felt welcomed and like they appreciated our business. Great job!
This hotel is not unlike many others in a similar catagory, rooms are decent, breakfast is adequate and staff does their job. Normally i would say three stars would be adaquate for hotels like this but in this case the rooms were nice sized and clean, breakfast was fresh and well prepared and the staff was very friendly. I would stay here again.
Room was cold. Temperature control not working. They charged my card an extra $130 by accident. Pool was filthy as were stairs in back.
Decent hotel for the price. Clean, breakfast was good. Kind of a weird location on a back road, but not too far from mall, restaurants. Theater also close by. We stayed here to avoid the pricier hotels near Gettysburg and Hershey, both of which are fairly short rides.

Nothing around. Hotel is next to a rental company and abandoned event space that is all boarded up. Also, the backside of the hotel is less than 50 yards from Route 15 which is a major highway going to Harrisburg Metro area.Exercise Room - no free weights.Pool - You can smell the chlorine out in the hallway by the elevator.Wifi - spotty at times. Kept disconnecting at all times. Couldnt do any work on my work laptop due to connectivity issues.Some of the staff - unprofessional. Sounded like one of the front desk staff was watching a Youtube during the afternoon as I passed by after my work day was done. Also, large gallon drinks of employee left out on counter behind the front desk clerk.Thin walls - could hear the shower/toilet in the next room.If I am in town for business or leisure, probably will look elsewhere if it costs me a little bit more.

Room was fine and price was a special rate because of a wedding booking, but nothing overly special. Found a Pepsi bottle under the bed skirt from a previous guest and they tack on a $50 additional damage fee charge, which is refunded 5-7 days after leaving.
My stay at this hotel was comped by my work due to the snow storm. It was a nice and clean room. I didnt have any issues but its not a pricey place so I wouldnt expect much.

I dont know if i caught them at an off time or especially busy time when checking in but the guy wasnt super personable and I waited at the desk for a few minutes before someone showed up but all my experiences with the staff post check in was nice and the lobby and hallways have been newly updated which is nice but the rooms have not, and you can tell. But Ive been to worse. Its as close to the highway as you can get which didnt bother me but if the noise of traffic is an issue for you I would search elsewhere because you can hear it and it is almost constant

Goto a more modern hotel for the money worth that can offer a charger is your coming in from out of town, this was a horrible experience, Checked in late, forgot my charger so then I called front desk to ask if I can use a iPhone charger, the woman on at the front desk poor taste of attitude decided to tell me to no in the worst way, told me to goto the golf gas station, so then I drove down there and they didn’t even have any chargers!! Then I had to drive around in a area I’m not familiar with to find one at 7 in the morning. It was a bad experience pay your money elsewhere, didn’t want to wake up at 7am to receive attitude and a drive.
The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast, thats why it got three stars. Other than that it would have gotten a one star. There is no effort given to cleaning the rooms. On future trips to the area I will not be staying here.

It was ok staying here for a week, but everyday getting back from school youd have thought room service would make the beds nicely...that is not the case it looked like someone attempted to make the bed then lay down on top and took a nap before leaving the room.
Will not stay there again, Arrived with family of four and first night there we decided to go swimming and when we got to the pool area the water was a little green and chlorine smell was strong after we got done we went to room changed clothes, next morning we had bad smell from are bathing suits and after all that I had milk on fridge door shelf for youngest daughter and went to get some but milk was frozen and my beer was frozen and still dont know why there was Mini fridge in spot that would hold a larger one. So when we got back Saturday night from dinner I stopped at desk to have someone to come and look @ fridge but nobody came to check...And also when you come in front door their was a sign that says we are with another customer we will be right back, yea all sitting out side on phone and having a smoke... Thank you
The beds are very springy & not a lot of padding on top. Other than that, very family friendly.

Everything you want and need in a hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff and 2 pools, 1 indoor SPA salt pool and 1 outdoor pool. Our rainy day was not a bust with this SPA pool.

My visit to the Country Inn & Suited has been fairly unremarkable. It has the amenities one might expect. The staff has been helpful. For the price, it is certainly adequate for my needs.

2022-06-21I stayed in this hotel on June 13 for one night. After I checked in at around 8:30 pm, I decided to make coffee in my room. After played with the coffee maker for 30 minutes, I realized the water was not just cold but leaked out from the bottom of the maker. I called the front desk and was told someone would bring a replacement to my room. After 20 minutes of waiting, I decided to get it from the front desk myself since no one showed up. I realized the maker was not ready. Finally, I got the replacement and a new towel since the one in the room is thin and with stain. After I got back to the room, I could not get the coffee maker to function. The ON light was on but nothing else. The coffee maker was not the only thing that was wrong:1. The spring coils on two queen beds were noisy.2. The lotion cap seal was broken.3. The hotel is right next to the freeway. It was so s noisy the whole night.4. The air conditioner is noisy.5. The shower room has no vent. It is foggy after shower.However, the bright side is the lady that prepares breakfast was courteous and helpful. I hope the hotel service quality is similar to her performance but no. I was very disappointed with what I got for what I paid for one night. Is the service quality in the whole industry is going down?

2022-05-29The front desk staff was absolutely amazing! We had a group of 50 seniors and Amanda was not intimidated nor judgmental -rather she treated them like humans and even got to know a few of them during our stay (our students are amazing if I don’t say so myself). Everyone enjoyed their time. Thank you for helping our chaperones make their senior trip a memorable one, they deserved it after having half of their high school experience via a computer screen. We can’t thank management (Ian), the breakfast staff, and the other front desk young woman enough. No frills hotel but the customer service makes up for it!!! Congrats again to all class of 2022 graduates!!!

2022-07-11The room was clean and I found the bed to be very comfortable. I also enjoyed the coffee bar and the staff was friendly.However, there were so many little things that when added together would cause me to not book with them again. The biggest problem was the noise of everything. The toilet was incredibly loud (whether it was ours or an adjacent rooms), other rooms TVs, the AC. It was so hard to get a deep sleep when everything was working together to keep you awake. Some other drawbacks were the lack of a vent in the bathroom and the flavorless breakfast.

2022-01-21This was a good hotel in general it was clean and neat.Pros:There is a coffee bar!Location and pool!Cons:-The lock on the door of our original room did not work and the sink was not draining, (but we switched rooms without a problem)-Breakfast was just grab and go and there was only granola bars and some fruit…I really wanted that hotel breakfast vibe but did not get it

2022-06-14Positive: The staff was super friendly. The breakfast workers were so helpful and kind checking up on us and helping us get breakfast for our kids when they saw us struggling. They were wonderful. Negative: We requested a 2 queen bed room and received a king with a pull out sofa. When I called down to let them know we hadnt gotten what we booked they checked to see if they could move us. When they couldnt the brought linens immediately for the pull out bed

2022-03-30The staff was ABSOLUTELY SUPERB...specifically Amanda, Angelica, & Shelby! They COLLECTIVELY made my familys stay at the establishment feel right at home. Their customer service exceeded my expectations. I DEFINITELY plan on staying at this location again if/when my sons travel football & basketball team is in the PA area. In addition, the breakfast was delicious and the room was very clean and comfortable.

2022-03-14Many cops and screaming lady in hallway.Im not giving this hotel less of a rating solely because the staff are extremely friendly.Upon arrival weve noticed several police cars (5) at the hotel entrance. We spoke with the receptionist we were assured everything was fine. When the police were whispering with the receptionist about the outcome of their investigation, I overheard them mentioning something about the safety of the guest and I cant have her running in the hallways. While I was a little concerned it seemed that it was minor and has been resolved by the police officers confidence. I didnt feel in danger.Well sometime in the middle of the night it happened. My kids informed me both that someone was running in the hallways very early in the morning 2 am .. screaming and laughing. That also someone tried to get into our room. I learned all about this first thing in the morning when I woke up. While I dont understand why that person was still there I believe the hotel could of handle it differently since they knew it could be a possible issue.Another note was when we first arrived the first room had a stain on the sheets, they sent us to a second room which seem cleaner. However when we went to bed my son and myself were itchy in bed. I dont know why, I could just say it wasnt a comfortable sleep.Do I recommend this hotel, not really its unfortunate because the staff is extremely nice and friendly. Especially an older lady that we met there working in the kitchen for breakfast.This is why I give it three stars because only the staff was worth it. The rooms arent as clean as people claim and the hotel could of handled the crazy lady situation more professionally.

2022-03-20We showed up in the middle of the night on a holiday and they were awesome about giving us a room with zero notice. It was clean, quiet, and they allow puppies! We left crazy early so not sure what the breakfast selection was like or if there was one, but the coffee was good 😊.... Oh and there was a sheetz like 3min down the road which was perfect

2022-07-01Great place to stay. I was welcomed by Olivia at the Front Desk. She went out of her way to assign me the room I wanted. As a courtesy, I was upgraded to a suite. Staff is helpful and outgoing.

2022-04-05I did some research before choosing my hotel for tonight, finally I had my faith in this one and here I am. The services are available as it described in previous comments compare to many other hotels don’t, so that’s satisfactory for me. The lady at the front desk shows hospitality and patiently explained everything. I’ll definitely come back whenever I visit Harrisburg again.
