I have been waiting for my package for a week. They said it goes out for delivery everyday but when I call at the end of the day they said it was to far to deliver. They are just horrible!!!!
Wish I could give them zero stars. I’m normally an incredibly patient and understanding person. I’ve been having nothing but trouble trying to get a straight answer about an express package coming from Harrisburg I paid almost $200 in shipping and was supposed to come almost 2 weeks ago. The kicker is the 5th time it was “out for delivery”, the Dhl driver drove STRAIGHT PAST MY OFFICE and didn’t even stop. I literally watched it. Tried to call customer service and they said they have no way of contacting the driver. I’ve contacted customer service 5 times now, and all I get is “the package is with the carrier” meanwhile we have cameras and have gotten the “recipient is not home” every time, despite the fact that someone was available until 9pm and we had signature release filled. I tried calling AGAIN today and got transferred to claims and the call dropped. I just want my package, please! I want an answer other then “its with the driver”.
This is absolutley one of the worst experiences Ive ever had with a delivery service. I ordered my wedding rings with plenty of time before our wedding and yet my package didnt arrive on time. They told me my package was delayed because of incorrect address information and when they verified it with me it was correct, but they only attempted to verify it after I called them even though they had my phone number for these situations anyway but still didnt call. They just let my package just sit in the Harrisburg, PA office for weeks. Terrible service all around.
Don’t expect to actually get your package. My package has been sitting 1 1/2 hours from its final destination for over a week now. Sneakers I ordered 3 weeks ago is now 13 days late and counting! Just ridiculous!
They lie and state that the recipient is not home, even though it is discovered later by statements made by a very argumentative driver that they were just not going to come in the driveway. Even after updating contact information online and over the phone, they still dont have the right contact information. It took them four tries to deliver the package, and that was only after waiting most of the day by the road to stop the driver. This is only one instance of many bad encounters with DHL. Hey DHL, cut your losses and just take the package to the post office ;at least they will deliver it.
Wish I could give DHL - Harrisburg a 0 star rating...This is the third time theyve lied with just me alone. The first time, they swore they delivered my package to my house, when in actuality, they had delivered it to a different location. I had to track the package down myself with the neighbors.The second time, they propped a package in my screen door on a windy day, and my screen door ripped off, and then they claimed (and I quote), we couldnt prove they did that, so they would not pay for the damages.This time, they are claiming on the tracking that my package was successfully delivered, however, I was home ALL DAY, and no package.This time I walked the entire neighborhood and didnt see it at any other house, so Im not sure where they delivered it.Its really sad how bad their drivers are, so frustrating.
Absolutely ridiculous service. My package arrived to this facility one week ago and has yet to be delivered to my house despite updating the estimated delivery day FOUR TIMES. Each day I call customer service and get the same run around, “it’ll be there tomorrow”. I understand Covid can delay things but holy hell this is absolutely ridiculous. Never in my life have I had such an awful experience with a delivery service. My package has been supposedly sitting in this facility for a week now and they can’t seem to figure out how to deliver it.
Reading the reviews and other customers experience with DHL, I thought my package was going to be stole or lost. The courier actually listened to my instructions and delivered on time though! Thank you

Between this location and Ohio, Cincinnati, theyre both terrible. Theyll sit on your packages for days. Ive had faster service with Priority mail. Plus having Harrisburg so close to my home, it shouldnt take over 3 days to receive.
THANK YOU DHL, I was reading all the reviews for Harrisburg DHL, and was dreading the fact I had package shipped with DHL. Good thing I didnt cancel my order cuz this was the best shipping experience Ive ever had, my package came from Saudi Arabia and got to Warfordsburg, PA twice as quick than a UPS package from California. Once my order got to DHL Harrisburg, it was at my house in 2 Days. Shipped on April 9th, RIYADH,(Saudi Arabia) to BAHRAIN(1day). BAHRAIN to LEIPZIG,(GERMANY) to UNITED STATES(CINCINNATI, OH)(1day) seriously 1 frekin day. It took longer to get from HARRISBURG to WARFORDSBURG,PA-2days(which is awesome) then it took to get from BAHRAIN-GERMANY-OHIO(1day).
Its ok, but very pricey compared to sending the same product from another country using the same carrier. Maybe, its the country policies and regulations, but US DHLs are very pricey.
The local folks at the Harrisburg facility were the only DHL employees able to give accurate information regarding an international shipment I was expecting. HOWEVER - the day of the scheduled delivery,, we waited all day only to check the status and see that the driver claimed to have come to our house and found no one home , leaving a card - a complete lie on his part. Called the dispatcher in Harrisburg and demanded the driver be sent back as he was already on way to Harrisburg. I was less than cordial when he arrived and I confronted him with his lies .
I received a package through DHL Express and noticed it had been rewrapped in bubble wrap and yellow packing tape. I did not think much of it until I opened it and discovered the entire top half of the package appeared to have been immersed in some sort of liquid. What ever it was soaked completely through to the inside of the package. Even if DHL was not responsible for the water damage, it takes a lot of nerve to rewrap something visibly damaged and deliver it like nothing happened.
DHL Driver seems to have a tendency to lie about delivery attempts. I was at home full day waiting for my package and received a status update Delivery attempted; recipient not home late in the evening, which is an utter lie. If this is how DHL wants to deal with their customers, with lies and deceit, I have no interest in shipping anything via DHL in the future.
Driver lied and said they tried to deliver but we werent home…. Meanwhile I was sitting directly above the door with my dog who would have barked at the slightest noice.
Absolutely horrible. I took the day off of work to wait for a delivery only to find a note on my front door saying sorry we missed you.....nobody knocked on the door and I know this because because I was home all day, took the day off of work. When I called to see why, I was told they would attempt again tomorrow and file a complaint on my behalf. I cannot even go pick up the package myself and how dare I ask to send the driver back to complete his job....oh sorry sir he cant come back because then his other deliveries will be late. Not my problem, if he did his job the first time he wouldnt have to worry. I guess DHL is a company that figures oh well, maybe well get it right next time so why fix our mistake. They already have their money so why care.
They lie about attempting delivery saying no one was home but they never even came. Keeps happening and customer service always lies about packages arriving by the end of the day. They are horrible with deliveries and it’s getting ridiculous.
Horrible! Driver lies repeatedly about having delivered my package (he did not). He even claimed he obtained my signature (not true), which I think he either forged or gave my package to the wrong person. Still trying to get my merchandise and it’s been almost a week.

Awful service! All they give is false pretenses and make it hard for anyone to come in contact with you.. next time for sure I’ll just wait a little longer with the us postal service office. Harrisburg Dhl is the worst service area. They need better drivers!
The driver STOLE my package and I caught it on camera. He set the package down in front of my door, took a photo for proof of delivery, and drove off with it!!! I will be disputing this with them, but be warned, it seems to happen a lot with the employees they choose to hire. Do not use this shady service!!

They go above and beyond to make sure you receive your packages! I highly recommend this place for your overseas shipping needs. Management is awesome and the agents are helpful and friendly.

2022-06-26They’re set back off from the road behind the dollar general. I was picking up the empty airfreight bins. Had to wait a bit for the dock since one of their box truck drivers was deliberately wasting time in it. Docks aren’t really made for 18’s but you can get in. The personnel were just fine and I was loaded in an hour.

2022-04-09Dhl completely sucks. For the past 3 days they Claim to have a failed delivery to my home. Yet I have been home at all 3 supposed drop off attempts. I even called customer service to make them aware of their driver failed deliveries. I was told the driver would call me when he arrived. That never happened. I gave SPECIFIC directions through customer service on where to leave the package if No one answered the doorWell... they failed that as well.I have video evidence that the drivers of all 3 delivery dates never even approached my door.Amusing how they play with packages that are not theirs. Worst delivery service EVER.They havent heard the last from me.

2022-04-20My arrived in Harrisburg on Thursday. (4/14/2022). It was scheduled to be delivered on Friday (4/15/2022). Then, it was rescheduled to be delivered the following Monday. On Monday, DHL, rescheduled it to be delivered on Tuesday. It was not delivered on Tuesday and was rescheduled to be delivered on Wednesday. I am posting this on Wednesday because I called DHL and asked them to hold my package at the station so I can pick it up as I no longer have any confidence they will actually deliver it. For some reason, they can transport a package half-way around the world but cannot deliver it the final 30 miles. Calling their customer support is useless because all they do is apologize and put a trace on the package. When I asked to talk to a supervisor, customer service told me to talk to a supervisor I had to wait for the supervisor to call me. If I could give them a negative rating I would.

2022-02-21DHL decides to open your package, damage your product, reseal your package with your tape, and when you call to find out why it was opened, no one has an answer.They also will not own up to the damage, and will just simply hang up on you while youre asking questions - their customer service is off-shore imagine that.So now I have a damaged $300 Motherboard, that had insurance, and they will not help me resolve this.Absolutely do not recommend this service.

2022-04-06Changed my scheduled delivery without telling me then they promised my package would b3 at my door between 2 and 4, but its almost 7pm and nothing. Customer service was very rude and talked over me the entire time period they dont even have numbers for their drivers so they have no idea where my package is all they can tell me is that its out for delivery and it will be here by 9 PM, but watch it show up a week later. Literally the worst company to ship any packages

2022-03-24My package reached facility 2 days ago and scheduled for delivery. Every time I called check on package, I was told it will be delivered, on time, package is in the facility but it is not getting in to delivery truck i don’t know why ,I wish some ones help me

2021-12-02So many policies, that they say are laws, that other deliveries dont require you to do. I have never spent more time trying to ship something than with DHL. I understand that the employees dont get to control these policies, but simply put your business and time is better spent elsewhere.
