My dog had not been groomed for 5 ½ months. He was in bad shape, he’s fluffy and had mats. I explained I was more interested in getting him clean vs. style and said feel free to cut, shave, whatever was necessary. I could tell the owner was not happy. When I picked him up the owner proceeded to berate me about the condition of the dog. She insisted on knowing when and where he was last groomed. I was taken aback by her rudeness. I had taken him in a similar condition to many other groomers (he doesn’t like to be groomed so I always put it off): Holiday House, Bucks County Pet Care, All Breeds Groom and Board, etc. and they were all professional and friendly. She continued on her tirade and said he was not welcome back in the same condition, I guess only dogs who are not in need of grooming should make appointments. I honestly didn’t know what to say. I have never been belittled in a retail environment before! Later in the day I was relating my experience to a friend and she informed me her neighbor got the same treatment and her dog was also asked not to return. I am still confused about the entire experience. If the dog needed extra attention which would require extra work she only needed to explain that in a professional manner and I would be happy to pay more, as it was I paid $79 and was treated like a naughty child. Needless to say, I don’t recommend the experience to anyone else!
Dog Dazes Canine Hair Design is one of the nicest dog grooming salons I have ever set foot in. Jacque the owner is excellent and one of the best in her field. Our dog JigZ has been a client of hers for many years. She always treats our lil boy just like her own. We just love her and her staff. Its such a load off our shoulders to leave him in such good hands and to have his hair on point.
We had a WONDERFUL experience with Jacqui, she was terrific with my dog, who is a big baby when his nails need cut. Embarrassing, really, but Jacqui was very calm and got the job done with no fuss. I highly recommend this business.
Our GoldenDoodle Boz has been going to Jacque for over 8 years. I have complete peace of mind that Boz is in the best care because Jacque treats him like he is one of hers. I walk in and he is next to her nudging her legs with his snoot.. its the cutest thing. He looks absolutely handsome when he leaves Dog Daze. But the thing with Jacque is she goes the extra mile. Boz is 15 and this is my first dog. Not too long ago the vet wanted to put him under to perform some oral surgery on two teeth. This scared the heck out of me; Boz is my best buddy! Jacque had always offered to help me out if I felt uneasy. I emailed her and right away she told me to swing by the shop. She looked at him and agreed and told me how the procedure would go; she really put me at ease. I could never thank her enough for that day. (He is barking in the background with agreement!). If you want your dog to be treated with the greatest care and respect, and get a helluva great haircut (if you own a doodle you must get them groomed at Dog Daze - no other shop competes!!) youd be foolish to hand your dog off to anyone else but Jacque and her team at Dog Daze.
I have never been more offended in my life. I went there and the owner was rude and harassed me. She told me that I was “ruining” my dog and it was useless because “dogs are no better than house plants” and I was appalled. The owner did not do my dogs grooming, which is the only reason I felt comfortable leaving her there. The haircut turned out wonderful, but sadly that cannot make up for the harassment I suffered from the owner. Never go here.
We just LOVE Dog Daze. They do such a beautiful job grooming our Ollie. Everyone there is so nice and they have always been so accommodating. Ive been going there for two years and highly recommend them. THE BEST GROOMERS IN TOWN BY FAR!
I used to LOVE Dog Daze, the owner cares about what she does and is extremely knowledgeable. A few months ago she hired a new girl and everything went downhill. My first encounter with the new groomer: my English Bulldog (who has extremely sensitive skin) was not brushed AT ALL, his hair was falling out in clumps and he wasnt even dry. The second encounter: my poor dog was tied up IMPROPERLY; his harness was on completely wrong and it was damn obvious, to the pole in the middle of the room even though there was a completely empty dog pen right next to him. The last time I tried taking my dog there, he refused to get out of the car, I had to PULL him out of the car and then he was fighting against me to just walk in the door. I dont know what happened there, but I will never take my dog back.
Ive been taking Prince, my little Shih-Tzu to Dog Daze since he was a puppy and I am the pickiest person. He looks like a show dog each and every time he leaves. Its like a day spa for pooches. They are loved and well taken care of.... I would highly reccommend Dog Daze Canine Hair Design and wouldnt go anywhere else! Louise O
Ive taken my fuzzy dog here for a year when he needs to go from shaggy dog to Mr. Dapper. Every groomer has been kind and professional, has done a great job, and has treated me and my pup well. Id definitely recommend, and Ill be back again next time the pup needs it!

My lab and my labradoodle cant wait to get in the door to give Jaquie kisses! No cages for an open, friendly dog experience. My girls make new friends every time. If youre looking for a place who knows how to cut a doodle, this is it. Highly recommend
I love this place and Jacque is hands-down the best groomer we’ve ever worked with! The thing that’s great about her is that she’s no-nonsense and the right balance of animal-lover but with real common sense and a down-to-earth attitude. Too many other groomers I’ve experienced have no interest whatsoever in the animals themselves and are doing it just for the business. Or are so eccentrically animal-crazy that they lack any sort of common sense or connection to reality. But Jacque is the real deal...a skilled and experienced groomer, champion show dog breeder and true down-to-earth animal champion including working and contributing to multiple animal charities and support organizations. She’s been grooming our Goldendoodle for going on seven years now and our two year old Cavapoo since the day we brought her home, and as long as Jacque is around I wouldn’t consider bringing them to any other facility.
I was not happy with the experience I had at Dog Daze. The front desk staff is rude and act like they could care less if they had your business. I can only imagine how they treat the animals when you arent there. I witnessed an employee yelling at a dog in a crate for barking. My dog was there for a bath and nail clipping. When I returned home she bled all over the carpets in my home. I wont go back there. Big mistake.
My dog loves going to Dog Daze! All of the girls are his “girlfriends” and baby him. Affordable grooming at its best! Thanks ladies!
I took my two poodles here once last year. She did an average job and wasn’t happy when I asked her not to do the tradition poodle cut but instead do a puppy cut on them. Also both dogs came home with razor burn on their faces. Red and puffy. Never went back there!
Very impressed with the folks @ Dog Daze as our one year old Bernadoodle enjoyed her stay and cut . Shes a big girl and they had no issues and gave her the correct cut for the breed, I highly reccomend these folks!

2022-01-25Just took Grace and Frankie for a day at the Salon! They were so calm and well taken care of!Joan did their grooming and she was excellent. These two sisters have nails that grow fast and sharp.She did a fantastic job on their nails and every other little detail. First time there and we will definitely beGoing back again. 2022-03-03Just took my dog to get groomed here yesterday after newly moving to the area. When I picked up the owner began berating me about how vicious he was and how he would not be allowed back. First of all, my dog is a 10 pound yorkie/maltese. He is 9 years old. He has been getting groomed regularly his entire life, mostly at the same few places across New York and New Jersey. His entire life one place in Manhattan told me he could be a little difficult, but they worked with him to ensure he wasnt overstimulated, for example asking me to book him early when there were no other dogs at the same time. No one has ever said they wouldnt take him back.Second, I am just at a loss to have someone say something so vulgar about my dog who I love dearly. Can you imagine a hair stylist saying something like that about a child who puts up a tantrum?This woman has no respect for dogs, clearly cannot handle them, even a 10 lb dog, and as a result is cruel and hurtful. Added a star because he did look nice when I picked him up.

2022-07-21The owner is an artist. I have taken my shih tzu to many other groomers in florida and nobody even comes close to her expertise. If other reviews comment about her personality, they are missing out. I do not need fake personalities greeting me and doing a horrible job on my tzu. I need my dog taken care of and meticulously groomed to perfection by dog daze.

2021-08-21I took my Golden Retriever puppy,, he was so clean and tidy when I picked him up, all the people were good with their job, they cleaned the nails, the hair cut around his ears and near his tail everything was as expected. The only downside is they are expensive. Im happy with their service and would take him again.

2020-07-08Took my 13M Goldendoodle in for grooming since my old groomer was too far away. Facility is extremely clean and the staff is very knowledgeable. I was very happy when I picked up my dog, he looked great and seemed very comfortable at their facility. I would definitely recommend Dog Daze for your dog and already scheduled my next appointment.

2020-12-16Horrible experience! Our dog was afraid of traffic on Broad St. and was nervous to go in. The owner came out and began berating my wife and daughter. She then accused us of having an untrained, out of controlled, disobedient, dog. Then she berated us for buying the dog from the breeder we did, not knowing who we purchased him from. We did buy from a breeder in Lancaster, PA. This is our 3rd boxer and we know all about the puppy mills in Lancaster. We did our homework on the family. This women is a complete fruit cake and one of the nastiest people I have ever met! We took out dog to another Holiday House Spa and had a fantastic experience!!! Stay away from Dog Daze!

2019-02-07Update: Weve now been at Dog Daze for over two years and they are still providing the best grooming in the area at a very reasonable price. Ive recommended several friends to Dog Daze and they are extremely pleased as well. Also, weve tried several different groomers at DD and the service, love and support for our dog has been consistently good. Thank you DD!Orig Review: Weve been going to Dog Daze for over 1 year. The entire staff is professional and weve been happy with their service every single time. We originally took our dog to DD because our poor dog received a horrible grooming job from another groomer in town and the dog was traumatized. We take our dog to DD every 6 weeks and couldnt be happier.

2019-02-07We have been taking our very large and fluffy dog to Dog Daze for several years. He is a rescue with some anxiety but he loves visiting his friends at Dog Daze. They do an amazing job AND my dog loves it here. Hes always relaxed and happy when I pick him up. The owner and staff are wonderful and you can tell that they love their jobs and their 4 legged clients.
