Have been getting my dog groomed here for almost 3 years. Karen the best groomer left. We unfortunately had Zach who butchered our dogs face. Requiring him to see a vet, antibiotics, steroids and a steroid ointment. He was nor empathetic towards me or my dog and I will never return here. my appointment was on December 17th with Zach. And I have tons of photos which I will be submitting to the management
We love doggie style, as a great neighborhood one stop shop for our dog. They have treats for all types, great food selection, grooming, toys, outerwear and even costumes. They have decent prices, too. The customer service at this particular shop is great. They are attentive, knowledgeable and always remember your pup! In addition to all of this, they have dogs up for adoption almost constantly, as they take dogs in from other overcrowded shelters. Cant say enough about how much we love this store, even our pup loves it! Every trip there is like a trip to toys -r- us for her.
They were kind, courteous and friendly. They bathed our dog, cut his toenails, clean his ears, and brushed his teeth. They were professional, caring and attentive. Charlie will be a regular customer!
I have been frequenting doggie style for a few years now to get all of my needs for my dog child reba ! They are always fully stocked and always ask if I need help as soon as I walk through the door ! I love the rewards program for buying 10 Fromm bags and getting one free! I also love the bath special my baby always comes out so happy and clean :)
We always get our dogs hair cut done here,the staff are nice and Zach and karen are amazing,they knew what kind of hair cut are our dogs are good with.
Theyre always helpful, & courteous here. Most are really knowledgeable about the products they sell, theyre always very engaged with their customers too-both two & four legged. & Neil is one of the best groomers out there-our pup just adores him!

We (and our pup) love to come here for treats. Staff is very knowledgeable and always very friendly. Not to mention that it’s super convenient. This is my go-to pet store; they carry everything you’d need on a daily basis.
Think twice before getting your dog groomed by Neil. The store employees are great but once you get them to the groomer named Neil he will physically assault and restrain your dog. Assault by body slamming it to cut its nails or hair. Poor pups are in fear. So really think twice before you decide to send your dog to the devil. He may seem nice when you meet him but behind closed doors it’s like Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde.
I been going to this store for over a year and half to get both my dog bathed. The staff are wonder as far as making the dogs comfortable in order for them to go with the bather and the prices are reasonable for the bathing especially for 2 dogs also they sell things that you wouldn’t see at a larger retail store.
Got my do license in 2 minutes. Way better then getting it on line. Came home and jumped on line and activated her tag. Now if she runs off anybody with a smart phones and scan her tag and all information will come up for easy return. So worth the $41..
Karen is the best groomer! Friendly shop all around, but Karen does a great job grooming my dog and I couldnt be happier. Love this shop!
Doggie Style? *giggles* Now that thats out of the way—you have to admit its a clever name—this store is awesome! I went in recently to get my friend a gift for her dog and they have a lot of cool items. I cant comment on their grooming services, but definitely a cool place for animal lovers to hang and shop.
They claim to be a no kill shelter yet they still put dogs down for the stupidest reasons. The staff is always great and really care about the animals, but the owner not so much. my aunt was in the store when a huge accident happened with one poor puppy and the owner and one manager knew but they didn’t care and said it was just nerves, when clearly it wasn’t. This pup had a severe illness that can infect other dogs and humans. This place needs to be shut down!
Was not happy with pet smart grooming any longer and my cousin recommended doggie style and LOVE it there. Neil is my Scrappys groomer and he is awesome, and everybody is so friendly. Great place I will never go any where else.
This is my first ever review and it is for Neil the groomer I have been taking my Cavalier to get his nails cut and he is the best !! Also they are very knowledgeable on the different kinds of food specifically needed for your pets .i have 2 cats who require different food for their weight n ages...Good people at doggie style!!!
This place has tons of stock so it is always fun to bring my dog in but Im never impressed with the customer service and I have been charged incorrectly a few times but what is most concerning is the amount of medical/behavioral/nutrition advice I hear in there that is flat out wrong and in some instances, dangerous. It is one thing between customers it is another when the staff (no medical or behavioral training) is doling out insane advice.
A young man helped me find food for my finnicky “kidney dog.” Took his time explaining all the varieties of raw food and didn’t try to push anything my way or over sell me. I cannot thank him enough! Super grateful and my dog ate 3 bowls of the food when we arrived home. I am elated!
Courtney groomed a foster pup for me today. He came in as a stray, and was pretty rough around the edges. She gave him a perfect Yorkie cut, and he looks just like an adorable teddy bear!!! She was so sweet and gentle with this senior boy! He will be adopted in no time! Thank you, Courtney, for being amazing with Ollie and with my own fur baby, Pete!
Ive been bringing my dog to Doggie Style for the past 4 years, first on Spruce and then the Passyunk location. Ive always been happy with the grooming and the bath special is a great deal!
I’m becoming to this store for year just for Neal, he always treat my Thinkerbell wonderful, she used to be very nervous every time that I left her for grooming but everything change when I meet Neal, he is wonderful as a Groomer and as a person. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and their selection is unmatched in the area. they also have a very sweet store cat who roams freely.

Love this cute pet shop! They are well stocked i supplies and always host rescue dogs up for adoption. Theres also a really sweet resident kitty who lives there :)

They are nice & helpful & have a nice selection of toys, coats etc.. do bring your extra cash because the costs are I feel over priced. (Always waited for a sale)
Neil is the best groomer!!! He always comes upstairs to trim our greyhounds nails and spare them having to walk all those steps.🤩
Took our cat Rudy for grooming and Courtney was awesome. She took excellent care of our baby and she did an awesome job.
The employees there are great but it wasnt great for me I couldnt get the dog I wanted to adopt its not their fault its my landlords Tony shoes he doesnt want to answer the phone hes like the kind of landlord it doesnt care if people deal drugs or smoke weed even though in the Lisa says no smoking even says no animals but everybody has a dog everybody has a cat just two dogs in this building and two cats but because he didnt answer the phone I didnt get the little dog that I want it is making me really sad
Worst customer service, employees had no sense of direction. And poor customer satisfaction skills. I believe a 12 yr old could do a better jobs then the lazy employees who hold jobs there. Overall i was disgusted. I walked instead to monster pets.

Although a bit expensive, they have a really wide selection of food, toys, and pampering services for those who want the best for their pets. conveniently located. you can bring your pets, too.
BEWARE they have been sold to an Investment firm. For grooming services, you are now required to sign a service contract that gives away all recourse and lets them make service changes without notifying you. The contract requires any disagreements to be resolved by an arbitrator.
The house cat Pumpkin is adorable. The staff are almost as adorable. The pet food is (Im told) adorable.

Has a great variety of healthy premium pet food/supplies. You can sign up to walk dogs for adoption here too, great way to add some exercise to your day AND helps the dogs socialize! Staff are always friendly and ready to help.
Karen is hands down the best poodle/mix groomer in the city. I’ve recommended 8 different people to her and all have been thrilled with her. The store clerks are friendly and the product selection is good. Very much recommend

2019-08-29Sammy & Sookie love going to Doggie Style. They have the best Alaskan Salmon treats and cutest sweaters and dresses. But their absolute favorite part of going to Doggie Style is to see their Groomer Neil !!!! HE IS THE BEST. He is so gentle with them and treats my babies like his own. I know they are in good hands when they are having a spa day.😍 I recommend Neil for everyones Fur Babies🐕🐾🐶

2021-06-29Dont book online. We booked a full service, and when we came back to pick up our dog we were told they only gave her a basic bath because the groomer on site today doesnt do those other services. We werent told this when we dropped her off. So we ended up paying for a bath we could have given her at home. The clerk was apologetic saying this happens a lot and you really need to call or come in to book to make sure you are going to get what you expect.Probably best to choose somewhere else. The bath she got was fine.

2021-06-12Nice place for dog & cat supplies. My dog loves the cookies :). We have mostly great experience with groomers -- once our pup ended up with not his usual groomer, and it didnt go so well, but as long as you get a good fit with a groomer, than it is great!

2021-01-28The store is conveniently located on Passyunk Ave and managed to stay open during the pandemic (in a safe manner). They have a great selection of dog toys, treats, and even clothes, and a decent selection of food, although I admit that Ive never really shopped around for food in there because they had what my pup has eaten since before I got her.I admit that I cant really speak for their selection for other animals but there seems to be a lot of cat-related stuff in there as well. I have noticed treats, cat towers, and food, but have never really looked because I dont have a cat.The staff is nice, helpful, and always excited to see my dog. They all seem to enjoy working there.They also have a couple dogs up for adoption in the front. Those guys usually go pretty fast.

These are the goods of this pet store, and Im thankful that I made the right decision to have my criteria with them. These guys are very helpful and really welcoming, and Im sure Im going to recommend them to everyone, and the services are really great. A highly recommended store for dogs!

2020-08-10Went to schedule an appointment and realized I haven’t written a review yet! I take my dog Rocket here to get groomed and he absolutely loves everything about this place but especially his groomer Tara. He always gets very excited to see her and when she brings him to me groomed, he’s beaming from ear to ear. I trust her and knows he’s in great hands!
