Well my experience was that I was ignored. The staff was talking and carrying on without any interest in asking me if I needed any assistance. So because they totally ignored me and paid me no attention I walked out I will think twice before walking in that location again. Oh I was thanked and said to have a nice day as I left. they were not busy so they were not helping other customers.
The crew here is wonderful! Oshi had Aaron as his groomer and came out smiling. Great selection of food, treats, and accessories. Cheers to doggie style!
I faithfully bring my dog for grooming at 10th & Pine. The service and grooming is exceptional. The groomer is very knowledgeable and takes time to ask me all about how I want my dog groomed. She is caring and gentle. I am pleased each time I pick him up after an appointment!

We were in the process of adopting a sweet beagle mix from the Spruce street location. As the only approved adopter who applied through the proper channel, we were assured that we would get the pup once she was seen by the vet. My entire family was excited, particularly my 7 year old who was looking forward to a new pet this week. But this evening we were informed that the owner made an “executive decision” and handed the puppy to someone they knew. What a horrible, unethical thing to do!
Fantastic variety of food, treats, toys, and accessories for both cats and dogs (and more). Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about different diets and pet needs and are always happy to help. Ask about their discounts for repeat customers - youll save a significant amount of money. The store offers delivery at a cost, which can be helpful from time to time. Im not sure about all of the locations, but this location always has a PAWS dog up for adoption, so its nice to see that they care about the local animal community. Also, they have the cutest shop kitty.
They have a nice selection of doggie chew toys. My niece got a new puppy so of course they had to be included for Xmas.
DSPS is conveniently located one block east of RHS. Staff is consistently excellent (at least those I have experienced) Typically they go above and beyond for their customer, I’m sure most reasonable individuals would concur. Keep it up guys!!
Even though Im not from the area I often think of this well appointed pet boutique when I need something for my dog or cat and will wait until Im in Philadelphia to buy the item here. This time it was a new seatbelt harness for my dog. They had several quality harnesses to choose from and took the time to get them all out so I could make my selection. I recommend shopping here for pet supply needs.

They have an array of special brands of cat food. The place is always well stocked. I come here once a month to stock up on cat food and pill pockets. Staff are always friendly and there is usually a little dog up for adoption in the display window as you enter the store.

Our go-to for food, accessories, and grooming. The $10 bath service is a steal. You just cant go wrong. Larissa is the best groomer and will take care of your little pups like they are her own. Friendliest and most helpful staff as well :-)
Completely disorganized, clueless staff, scheduled an appt for a grooming session and then was told they didnt have us scheduled at ALL!!! Not only did they not apologize they didnt even bother to acknowledge their mistake or try to fix it.

Wide variety of cat food and supplies. Very knowledgeable staff. The young woman who I spoke to about switching my kittens to dry food knew an awful lot about feline nutrition and made me feel much better.

The poor treatment of my animal during a grooming session was alarming. I have a friend whose dog was killed there and I sort of thought maybe they were exaggerating though it seems possible now. They do however have a decent selection of products.
I passed that store on a whim from buying coffee with my partner. In the window we met Niecey a very handsome and cute Mixed Terrier. Long story short we adopted him from this store and the people there and service were awesome... btw, my boys name is Oreo now. Thanks Doggie Style! Great job on his grooming! Lots of compliments.

The groomers at this and the 10th and Pine location are wonderful - I get the Wednesday bath n brush for $20 and it does just what I need.Employees are always friendly and while the prices on food and whatnot are a bit higher than online, it does in a pinch!
Never seem to have what you need in stock when you need it. Always have to put in an advanced order whether its pet food or merchandise. However, I do like their friendliness and the way they do call around to make sure they eventually get the things you need.
I arrived at this location for my puppys grooming appointment to find that I was at the wrong location. The clerk helped me find the proper location and called them to say I was on my way.

Worst Place I ever had my dog groomed. First off the groomer Barbara looked like she was a drug abuser, but i over looked that being that they have been at this location for awhile. After 3 hours i went to pick up my dog and he was cut to the skin when i asked the groomer to trim his fur when i dropped him off. When I told the front desk that she messed my dog up this groomer came running out the back cursing in me and my wifes face like a nutcase. worst expierience i have ever had at a groomer. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IS MY ADVICE

2022-04-09Responding to the owners response. This is a flat out lie. I went in there the Saturday after Christmas and the tattooed arm woman said do you want to set up another grooming? I said NO, I want Ashley to correct her face since she couldnt put the massive amount of hair back on her ears.I went in on Wednesday and Asley said she must have had a bad day??? I told her not to touch anything but the sides of the face and under the chin, since I had NO trust. There was some woman in the front witnessing the whole conversation. What was I going to say other than I guess the hair will grow back? Were you planning on destroying my dogs hair even more for more money? No professional would do this to a beautiful puppy. Asley apologized a couple of times and said it was a bad day. I tried to stay polite but when I hear lies from the owner, it makes me even more upset. My review is 100% the truth. YOU DESTROYED MY DOGS EARS BEYOND REPAIR. It will take a long time to get it back to the thickness it was. Dont lecture me about how each dogs hair grows back differently. I wasnt just displeased, I was shocked to say the least that any groomer could destroy the hair on a really beautiful puppy. Owner, look at the pictures! She did not do the same grooming as the first two pictures, how could you or Ashley lie about that? Not trustworthy at all.Update: 3 months after Ashley destroyed my puppys ears and chopped them up so badly I wonder if theyll ever grow back , they still are not nearly what they were. I cant figure out from this massacred cut where they start and end on the chopped up mess. Maybe in 2 years, maybe.I wish I had more of a deal about what Ashley did to my beautiful baby. But no, I just steam myself at how incompetent this place and this groomer is daily. I look at my babys ears and remember how gorgeous they were. Then again, I would have not let Ashley touch my pup again, and never want to see that tattooed women again or anyone behind that counter ignoring everything. They destroyed another dogs hair in the neighborhood. Watch out for Ashley. Ask her if shes having A BAD DAY!... before you leave your beautiful pet there.This groomer or someone she handed my pup to who didnt know how to cut hair on a dog destroyed my puppys hair. Groomer said she must have been having a bad day????? Dont take it out on my dog EVER.Zigzagged 2/3 of the thickness off of her beautiful hair on her ears, cut the crown of her head which was her hair from her ears almost to the skin, chopped off the top of her head hair which was beautiful white hair, uneven cut on the sides of her face, under chin messed up badly, uneven, hair above the eyes snipped off, put my puppy in a kennel when I said NO, but I could hear her barking. Body that was supposed to be a puppy cut and it was uneven all over, over her eyes were cut straight across, uneven around her eyes. No nails cut. I should be thankful since she probably would have been injured if her nails were cut. My puppy was frantic when Ashley dumped her in my arms, she didnt even show me the haircut that she destroyed. It will probably take 6 months or maybe more to grow back in. Shame on you. Everyday I think about what a mess you or someone there did on my beautiful 13 month old puppy . This place is disgraceful. Thank goodness I didnt have her bathed there. This was the second visit here. First visit she did my puppys haircut beautifully (1st and 2nd picture), this is why I know she handed my pup to someone who was inexperienced to chop her hair off or something is definitely wrong with this groomer. Dont trust this place, would never recommend it to anyone.

2018-08-15Was recommended by a friend who takes their dog to them for grooming. I made an appt for my cat and they are now my go to groomer! They are always polite and they take good care of the animals. I’ve recommended several friends that have gone here as well and all have been happy with their service. They have a good selection of pet food, toys, treats etcetera

2022-03-16Do not go here. They discriminate against elderly dogs. We were relocating to the area and my 14 year old yorkie, who is groomed religiously every six weeks, was not permitted to get a haircut folks. Do not take pets to a place that won’t care for a dog who is perfectly healthy and deserving of a haircut.

2021-12-05Several months ago Sarah I think was her name did the most amazing job grooming our dog. The store isn’t that convenient for us to get to so we went somewhere else a few times and NO other grooming has been as good. This store is great for grooming and products sold. Love it.

2021-10-11I always went here for my dogs grooming before we moved and I always had a positive experience. When we moved, we tried the Fairmount location and he had a bad experience with the groomer there, so he became much more hesitant to let people touch his nails. We decided to come back here and Ashley was so patient and kind with him and was able to trim his nails. I really appreciate that she made sure to not break his trust and to go at his pace. I highly highly recommend coming here, especially if your pup is anxious like mine. It’s hard to trust people with your dog but I trust them with mine.

2016-11-20Doggy Style has the cutest doggy clothing and accessories! They also make their own healthy dog treat biscuits that are made with yogurt and peanutbutter. I bought their happy birthday dog cookies for my friends pugs birthday. They also had the special type of dog food I needed!
