The kids really loved it. More than the deer I think they enjoyed the real firetruck, big rig, and police car that they got to play and make believe. The deer are quite old and were in velvet, and not that enjoyable for me, but the museum, with many trophy bucks, bear, wolves, and moose was very nice. All in all worth a trip. $9/adult. Kids 4 and under free.
Such a wonderful place. We have never NOT had the best day when visiting there! We are so thankful!!
This place is a gem. It is worth the trip to go experience all that is there to see. The owners are friendly and informative. We enjoyed both the live deer and the buck barn. The live deer are very well cared for and amazing to see. And the buck barn is so nicely done .. educational.

They have so many deer. They have quite a few all white ones too. You get to hand feed and pet all the deer, including the babies. We go a few times a year.
Very nice at this park. The deer have very spacious enclosures, we were able to see all of them as all the enclosures have walk ways around the whole exhibit. Stroller friendly and the taxidermy sides was very neat as well.
It was so cool we all loved it what a great price for all day !! Its nice they have resting spots to sit and just watch the deer 💜

Wife and I have been going to Double Diamond Deer Ranch since 2009. Now weve been taking our son over the past couple of years as well. We all ALWAYS have a good time!
The staff is very patient with their customers of all ages. Feeding the fawns and adult deer is an exciting experience; the staff chats and tells about the different personalities. The deer all seem to be well cared for, even after they pass. Their memories are preserved in the taxidermy museum.
The people are wonderful and know all the deer they have. We had a wonderful time..
Great little place. You can definitely tell the deer are more than pets, theyre like her children. Well taken care of and room to roam. Feeding time was an awesome experience. Definitely will return next summer with the kids.
Really nice place. You can tell they genuinely care for their animals. We stopped in today and my nephews loved it!! The girls at the front desk were very nice and knowledgeable! 😊
The deer were breathtaking. The kids got to bottle feed a fawn. We handfeed the deer apples slices at 6 pm . Wonderful experience. Caretakers love the deer and it shows.
My girls loved watching the deer and feeding them. They also played on the various trucks that they turned into a playground. They even rode on the old fashion little rides that they have for small children.
Fun filled family day. Learned alot about deer. Was able to pet them. Will return next summer to bottle feed the babies.

The Deer are extravagant and you are allowed to pet them.. 4 yr old loved it and its a nice walk through the ranch.. it has covered breeze ways so u can visit rain or shine... gift shop could use a little update but was a good time
Excellent spot for an afternoon with or without the kiddos. Low priced admission and the gift shop is reasonable as well. The deer seem very happy and it was a very neat experience.
The animals were interactive and well kept. The premesis was clean. The lady owner was very pleasant and informative. Loved the experience!

We loved it, looked at a bunch of deer, also checked out the deer museum and was very informative on all the deer they raised at the ranch.
A lot of fun. The folks working are very friendly and knowledgeable. Im an undergrad in biology with a focus in ecology, and while Im not a vet nor expert by any means, the deer seem to be very healthy, happy, and well taken care of. Love to see it!
Fantastic place to take the family. The owners are wonderful people who greatly care for their animals. Visit everytime we are in cook forest. Highly recommend!

It is fascinating to see all the deer up close. You can learn about each one cause the owners have stories for each deer you see, even ones that have already passed on, including their rattlesnake. The only thing that bums me out was thanks to Covid you cant feed them smh The owners are also very friendly people. Make sure you check out their little museum as well. Loved it!

Ran by very nice people who seem to take good care of their animals. The play area with the firetruck, limo, semi, and cop car plus slides is something different.
My wife and 3 year old went on while I stayed in the car with the baby. They spent about 35 minutes and loved the visit. If you like admiring big racks, petting deer, and walking around neat agricultural facilities, this is a good stop. The family that runs it takes great pride in constructing the Barnes themselvesand in the history of the animals they keep there. My wife was impressed by the large enclosures, so you wont feel zoo-guilt unless you hate all wild animal enclosures.
They have some very unique deer here that you will not see anywhere else. It is a rare chance to pet and interact with these enchanting creatures. The taxidermy room also has amazing specimens, including an enormous moose. This attraction should not be missed.

I went with my son, he had an amazing time looking at the deer and so did I. A great place for families or those who enjoy animals and nature. The young lady at the counter was very polite and friendly.

It was fun to walk around the outside of the spacious enclosure and look at the deer. You dont often get to see them so close. And inside they have almost all of the antler sets from their deer over the years. Theres also a pretty big taxidermy display of all sorts of animals native to PA. For $8, I think its a great value.

The owner can tell you the history of all the bucks he has had. Beautiful animals, very friendly, absolutely stunning racks. Colors like piebald and albino, that you rarely see in the wild, but do exist. Worth the $8!
The owner was very nice, and informative. The deer numbered 23 when we last visited. We got to see the ranchs newest addition. Vixen, an all white male, not albino at just 6 days old. And already bottle feeding. I will go to this place every time Im in Tionesta. It never ceases to amaze me as to how big some of their buck are. The taxidermy museum is really worth checking out too.

A great variety of living deer out on the ranch (Id estimate more than thirty) and taxidermied animals of all types in the barn; and all at a very reasonable price. Also be sure to stop in during feeding times when you actually get to help feed and pet the deer (the fawns are absolutely adorable). The woman who runs this place could not love her deer more and is very informative. I highly recommend stopping in and checking this place out.

Wow! White tail deer like you have never seen them! The owners are very kind and friendly and love their pets. Learned some very interesting facts about deer.
Little bit of a walk but I dont mind the time I r took. The deer were in the shade and well hidden but its hot here and we found them in the feeding areas of the park. I got lucky enough to pet a few!

Dyet growing up spending summers at Cooks Forest, this was my 1st visit to Double Diamond Deer Ranch! The kids loved that they could pet the deer - it was after labor day so they couldnt feed them. Theres a time in the summer they set up so people can feed them.Only does & fawns could be petted as it was the beginning of the rutt season and the bucks can be very aggressive during that time.I learned a quite a bit about deer & was surprised when I went inside to their room of all the deer that were there before......WOW! I was impressed!Great people own & run this place!Wish id have visited before now!
It was ok. It used to be alot better years ago. Getting too commercialized. Need new deer. The ones they have are old
We come here every year. Its our familys tradition. We absolutely love coming here and seeing the deer. We feed the babies and when we come back the following year we get to see how big theyve gotten (almost like watching them grow up!) The owners are extremely nice and very pleasant. Cant wait to come back next year! They have a little museum type thing full of taxidermy, a gift shop, and they also have a playground that has a Mac Truck, Fire Truck, Cop Car, Tractor, Four Wheeler, and a Wooden CAT for the kids to go inside and play in an act like theyre driving!
Great place for a family outing. Nothing too expensive & stuff to do all around. There wasnt very many deer this year, but they were all beautiful. My kids love it, especially my younger son. Visit Cooks Forest for a nice walk as well.
Prancer is the best DERE why big bear not in cage. Do you know there is three car outside. Cat nose is dirty pls send help..

A must-see one of a kind of traction drove over 2 hours to get there and it was well worth it.

It has tons of deer that you can pet and at 2 o clock you can feed 2 baby deer named john deer and jj. Plus at 6 you can feed the deer apples

2021-10-21We havent been here in years! It was open, clean and the deer were close in pens because of fall season and rut. Both the live side and the taxidermy barn are informational. I enjoyed the signs explaining who each deers parents were and showing my kids the ones I saw that have passed away. They love their animals and Im glad they have a safe place to be!

2021-07-18Rather rustic facility but so very worth the drive and money. The deer are so sweet and the lady who runs it is very knowledgeable. Best to plan your trip at feeding time. Feeding the apples to the deer totally makes the experience. They go from being far and shy to up close and friendly. We try to go every year.

2019-12-10Cute so cute. My baby loves bucks he loved being so close to them. Enjoying the trucks to sit on and slide down. Nice barn to walk in and see the trophy animals. We went in fall to see them.
