Went in to get my ring fixed, the lady that helped us was really friendly and knew what she was doing. Even though my wedding set wasnt purchased there, they were still willing to fix it (and clean it) for a really good price. Will be taking my other rings there. Highly recommended!!
Imagine the horror of helping your husband move something, looking down and seeing that your diamond has fallen out of its setting! I was absolutely panicked when I went into Landis Jewelers and Sarah was amazing. She took a look, explained what happened and what our options were to fix it. Ultimately, given the fact I have only exceedingly rarely taken my engagement band off, we chose to have it reset. During that same time, we had my wedding band resized. Both rings were completed in a very timely fashion, at a very fair rate. I will absolutely go back here for my future jewelry needs. Thank you Sarah and all of the Landis crew!

I can not say enough great things about E G Landis. Pam did an amazing job at helping to design my pendant. My boyfriend had my mothers stone from her engagement ring set as a surprise for me because since she passed I wanted to keep it close to me but not as an actual engagement ring. Sharon was so helpful and the sweetest as she helped me pick the perfect chain. I will always go here for any of our jewelery. Thank you all so much! It made it that much more memorable!
My coworker recommended E G Landis when I had an issue with an engagement ring that I needed appraised. Matthew went ABOVE and BEYOND for me along with his father Mark. They were caring and considerate given the sensitive nature of the issue I was having. Knowledgeable, helpful, kind & compassionate - I will never use another jeweler. I highly recommend.
This is an excellent jeweler! My friend recommended them to me, and I totally see why. I came in because I needed to have my wedding band resized and my engagement band replaced, and everyone there was so helpful and friendly. One of the nice ladies even pulled out baskets of toys when she saw my 4-year-old son was with me. That kept him happy and occupied, so I could shop and make decisions. He even got to keep a couple toys, which he was really delighted with. Someone called me when each ring was ready to be picked up, and when I arrived they were so clean, shiny, and beautiful. Such wonderful service and quality. I definitely highly recommend E.G. Landis!!
Moved to Berks County 3 years ago. I needed my antique engagement ring and wedding band sized. They are wonderful to work with, very friendly and reasonable price and they did an amazing job on my rings. My husband had a pearl necklace restrung for me to wear to our wedding, the necklace turned out beautiful! Stopped by today and had a watch battery put in and my engagement ring cleaned and checked and my wedding band cleaned, only charged me $30 for everything. It is so nice to have a hometown jewelry store.
Best jewelry store around! Wonderful service! Great gift ideas, and they gift wrap for free! I keep a wish list there so it makes it easy for my husband to pick up gifts for me for any occasion! I always get compliments on all my jewelry! I highly recommend EG Landis Jewelers!
It makes me so sad to write this because EG Landis was always my go to jewelers since moving here a few years ago. Unfortunately, today’s experience made them lose me as a customer. I had my platinum engagement ring resized here approximately 2 years ago. I paid a premium price for resizing due to the material, which I did not mind because they had on site repairs. Yesterday, I noticed that my band had separated where the jeweler soldered it during resizing. I brought the ring back in to the shop to see what they could do and the jeweler told me that he would charge me $150 to have the ring re-soldered, not resized just soldered together where it came apart from their previous work. I explained that the ring was resized at their location and they said they would not fix it because it looked “worn”? Granted I do wear it everyday, but I’m a teacher not a construction worked and I intentionally got a platinum ring so I would not run into issues like this from everyday wear. The jeweler then went on to say the band was too thin and that’s why it came apart too? If that was a possibility I feel as though it should have been explained to me before the first resizing and I probably would have chosen not to have it done. Overall I am very disappointed with their customer service and customer loyalty. This is a great jeweler unless you ha e any issues with your jewelry. I will be changing jewelers to one who respect their customers and honor their work.Update: I attempted to reach out to the store after processing my initial negative experience and my message was read and ignored. This further confirms my dissatisfaction with the store as well as their lack of customer service. Be very careful when working with this store.
When I went to post this review, based on my wife’s and my experiences with this store, I was so shocked at Devon Masi’s one star review that I pulled up her Google review history.You guessed it, nine total reviews- ALL NINE with ratings of one star...Suddenly, I was not shocked any more at Devon’s one star rating of this store, apparently it fits her pattern of discontent.....On a more positive note, this store has helped me immeasurably make my wife gleeful at her gifts of jewelry!Thank you E.G. Landis Jewelers, you have greatly enhanced my gift-giving!
EDIT: After response from the owner, it may have been the employee that is no longer there. I cannot remember now since it’s been 2+ years. Try them out for yourselves. There seems to be plenty of people who have good experiences here. I do appreciate a response, and therefore editing my rating.———Not very friendly people. I felt judged by the staff while there for only a few minutes to get some not-super-expensive jewelry cleaned.
How absurd of me, to want to repair a family heirloom, during their mothers day promotion.
I went in to check about getting my engagement ring sized. The girl at the counter was so nice and very attentive to what I needed. She completely understood that a week was too long for me because Im impatient and talked to the jeweler and now Im picking my ring up tomorrow afternoon!!!! Ill definitely be checking with them for future purchases before going to any other jeweler..
I took an somewhat inexpensive bracelet I had torn in to see if it could be repaired. I was given an honest answer of yes but you may be able to visually see the repair. I picked it up the next day and to my very pleasant surprise it looked perfect. I am so very happy with the outcome. I also had my wedding rings made bigger a couple of years ago and was pleased with the results. This is a true jewelry store with on site jewelers. You wont be sorry...oh and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies too!
Absolutely love this store! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and there is a beautiful selection for all ages. I personally love all of the Pandora, Ania Haie, Elle and Lafonn collections of jewelry. Repairs and custom pieces are completed quickly and you can’t beat the quality of the work! I went in to buy a jewelry box for my wife for our anniversary. The staff was quite possibly the most pleasant and helpful i have ever encountered. They even took the extra step of wrapping and putting a bow on the box for me.

2022-04-15I want to start by saying the young girls there are very helpful and nice, the elder male jeweler on the other hand is absolutely horrendous. My husband came to get my vintage family ring cleaned before proposing and he was told to buy me a new diamond. I later came to have the side baguette tightened. The jeweler said I can do it but I might scratch your diamond and I am not liable I asked well do you think it doesnt need to be tightened then? He followed with well I cant say that either, you could leave here bang your hand on the railing & the diamond fall out and blame me. I couldnt believe my ears. I said nevermind, I will take it elsewhere. I also wanted to purchase a travel ring. They gave me the catalog to look. My question was, what if it comes in and I dont like it, like the band is too thick or something, can I return it? The OTHER woman jeweler said, well I dont know why she would want to return it if looks like her ring now. (because I purchased one previously elsewhere and it didnt look like the picture when it came in so I am skeptical.) They do not carry my size, and do not resize once in, they can only offer a ring guard. I am absolutely disgusted by both the jewelers customer service here and they have lost who couldve been a very loyal client, when I reset my current engagement ring, and look to upgrade in the future. GO ELSEWHERE.

2022-05-25Got exactly what I went in for, a grandchild’s birthstone necklace for my mom. Helpful and quick. I liked that they had lots of choices for fine gifts for new babies and special occasions like Waterford and silver gifts, clocks, frames, etc.

2022-04-30Just left the store because of the hard selling tatics from the staff. Unbelievable how within under 1 minute of being in the small store and with every step I took, I was bombarded with questions. Who, what, when, where, why...I initially said i was just looking. Which I was.At that point most sales people know to give the customer some space. Not the older lady (owner, manager, person in charge) talking loudly across the room telling the two sales staff how to press on and say things so I cant say no. She is literally yelling to them as to what to say. I was blown away. Im standing right there and she is yelling across the room as to what they should be saying to me so I have to engage.Being in sales myself, I was really taken back that she is doing her coaching of her 2 younger (my guess high school students) associates from across the room so everyone could hear. So now these two associates are hard pressed trying to tell me about everything in the case to make their boss happy. It was totally unbelievable and unacceptable for the customer.Hopefully the two sales associates who were very nice find another place to work if they really enjoy sales.

2021-12-23Years back, I came to this place in need of a nice gift, They were helpful and courteous and took great pains to assist me. I have been returning ever since! They are truly professional jewelers and craftsmen, not at all like the chain stores, yet they can help you with a wide range of long lasting jewelry.

2022-01-13I received a watch for Christmas, which they keep in stock. I was intent on exchanging it, but did not like what they had on hand. The sales person was neither knowledgeble nor helpful. My only options were an exchange or store credit. This return policy for gifts is unreasonable, especially for an item that is kept in inventory and not special ordered. I have shopped here before and try to honor local vendors. But lets face it, to give a store credit for returning a item that they can put back in the case for sale again is poor customer service. One of the chains and other local vendors would have provided a refund. Updated rating after the owner responded below and even sent me a card. I plan on following up this week. .

2021-12-10Edit: They fixed the problem and I will be going back for my future jewelry purchases.Went there to purchase a ring last month. They let me know most of their sizes were standard at 7. No issue with that because they said they could resize within 1 size for free which was great. Took it back the next day to get my girlfriends finger sized just to make sure, and she needed a 5.5. They said since the size difference was so great, they would have to order a new one. We waited 3 and a half weeks and when I got the ring today, it was not 5.5. It was still very loose on her finger. I cant afford to wait another 3 and a half weeks for another one again. If they fix this problem promptly when I return tomorrow, I will gladly give them a higher rating. The people there are wonderful and the pieces are gorgeous
