Came in February 18, 2022, morning to get some coffee and get some work done. There was a homeless guy sleeping inside in the corner the entire two hours I was here giving off a nauseating smell that reached across the room where I was sitting, and the seating booths were disgusting and covered in food and trash that was easy to wipe off. Not once during my two hours there did I see any employees walk around cleaning up the food and trash on the seats, even when there was no one in line for a while. They just stood around making loud jokes you could hear throughout the cafe. Good coffee but terrible management. I would avoid. There is some amazing coffee nearby in Rittenhouse without the trash and smells inside from homeless. If you really like Elixr coffee, many of the nearby coffeeshops serve Elixr coffee.
Coffee was okay for the price, but the weirdest part they looked at us like we were aliens when we asked if they have Wi-Fi.. which they don’t. I’ve never been to a coffee house without it. Also there is no parking, unless you choose the open lot two blocks up which will cost $31 to part for a little over an hour. Not impressed.
I came because of the 2019 Food and Wine recommendation. I had high hopes for the coffee being as good as what I enjoyed in the PNW so I bought a bag while I was there. I also grabbed a cup of drip. Unfortunately, the drip was possibly old, in a dirty dispenser, or something else that would cause it to taste slightly burned. It’s drip so I don’t expect a lot but I do expect a quality roaster to keep the drip they sell, the drip that hooks new customers, clean and fresh. It’s the gateway to me later buying your $25 bags to take home. I unexpectedly had a better drip at Rowhome the day before and they just use your standard Colombe. I’ll update this after I try the blend I bought but my expectations have unfortunately been muted.Update: I was unable to make the weekender blend I bought taste as good as the local DC roast I buy from Whole Foods. That’s not to boast about the DC roast; it’s good for grocery store coffee but nothing to write about. It’s to say that the blend was just... simple in flavor and not very impressive within that simple flavor. Elixr, please tell me what I did wrong with your coffee because I’d love to have an east coast roast besides Passenger that I can properly enjoy.
Pretty cool coffee shop serving the usual combinations of hot or cold coffee. I got the Kyoto slow drip cold coffee and it was delicious !!! The also have a selection of pastries and sandwiches that looked delectable. This location is split level with plenty of chairs table and lounge like seating. It is on a quiet-ish street off Walnut and one can easily miss it. Prices are competitive compared to other coffee shops in the neighborhood.I would definitely recommend.
BEST COFFEE SHOP IN CENTER CITY!! The staff is well trained and hard working, pouring so much passion into making the perfect drink every time! Its a great atmosphere with open space so even when theyre busy it never feels to crowded!! This shop is the perfect example of good people using good products to make a good safe space for people to feel at home. Check it out if you get a chance, you will NOT be disappointed!!
Great tasting coffee and an adorable atmosphere. This coffee shop is decorated so gracefully and it is a beautiful space to drink coffee and work, study, or catch up with a friend! It is not very small but it fills up fast so it can be hard to find seating sometimes. They offer oat milk to substitute milk and it brings a delicious nutty flavour to the coffee.
Small coffee shop in Philly, hidden on a side street. Good coffee, great service. Great place to get work done since they have WiFi. The bagels are tasty as well, especially with one of their flavored cream cheese options. Pictured is a cinnamon raisin bagel with honey cream cheese.
Amazing coffee, great bean selection and awesome staff!Visiting Philly for a few days, I found this through the Beanhunter app, Elixr is listed as the top in Philly... And now I see why!Great bean selection, knowledgeable and fun staff - in a seriously cool little spot. Ill definitely be back before I leave.100% you need to visit if youre serious about your coffee!
This is a classic hip coffee place in cool surrounding with an appropriately distressed ambience. It buzzes with people and although there is a touch of worship-the-laptop the predominant feel is lively. The croissants are great and regular cappuccino very good. It has ruined things for me, however, by dropping soy. I won’t be going back.
I started going to Elixr when it was in a tiny space just off of Rittenhouse. The current space has a wonderful industrial, shabby chic feel that is less sterile and more communal. That being said if the space were larger that would be terrific since this place is always hopping. Why not since their coffee whether or over or espresso based are terrific and the tea is also high quality. Nice selection of pastries as well. Always a good place for reading, chatting or taking a rest while in Center City.
This place is the perfect coffee spot. Cool space with lots of great touches like power strips for sitting and working, comfortable nooks for reading and pleasant aesthetics. The coffee is fabulous and the pastries are super good. Take your time to sit down and relax because that is what this space was clearly designed for.
Elixir has what is probably the best coffee and espresso in the area. They have a nice selection of traditional and more creative coffee drinks as well as a selection of teas and seasonal specialty drink.I typically order their espresso and it is smooth, balanced, and generally tastes wonderful.I would highly recommend trying Elixir and making sure to buy some bean to brew at home as well.
Is it fair for me to leave a review even though Im not a coffee drinker? I have no idea how good the coffee is here, but the chai tea latte was pretty good. The staff was super cool and they have a touchpad to order setup. You order then wait for you name to be called. Its pretty quick and seamless.
Great pour over options and a simple refill was cheap and delicious. The great part of this place is how comfortable and peaceful it is. Its a great place to just hang out and be for a little bit. The place is always bustling but not in a distracting way. Great spot to catch your breath and get a good cup of coffee.
Cute place with an awesome vibe. The staff was informative and very pleasant to speak with. For someone who isnt a big fan of tea they have great advice. Although I didnt end up getting tea, I got the mocha latte and my friend got a decaf Americana with oat milk. We enjoyed both. We shared a bagel with hummus and it was delicious. Definitely check this place out.
Im from out of town and heard a lot of great things about this coffee shop so naturally I had to try it out. It was within walking distance of the conference Im attending in the heart of downtown. The latte I order was delicious with a really rich and chocolatey flavor. The baristas were really nice as well.
This is the most hospitable coffee cafe environment in Center City Philadelphia and they make the most delicious hot chocolate and cortado. Too bad the laptop customers dont reciprocate by making more purchases to help pay for the electricity, salaries and rent during their day-long encampment.
Artisanal coffee here. Each cup is prepared separately. The grounds are weighed on a scale and water is hand poured through a coffee filter. Definitely recommended if youve never had single-sourced coffee before. A bit pricey, around $4 for a cup but you get what you pay for.
Amazing coffee shop. There is enough space for everyone, you can sit outside by the tree and read. The food is great and drinks as well. Love, love, love this place! They offer fun seasonal lattes that are delicious and the outdoor patio is a great space to work or relax with friends. This is a new regular spot for me.
If you know Elixr you know that they do coffee better than anyone in the city. Their customer service is superb as well. I stopped by today well after they closed (didnt know they were closed). The guy there was more than happy to sell me some beans and took his time explaining the different offerings they had. Great neighborhood spot that really cares.
Their coffee quality is amazing and they know how to pour good shots and chemexMost definitely the best roaster in Philadelphia (and probably the east coast). Some of their baristas are extremely talented and knowledgeable - one has placed top 3 at the USBC a couple of times.Their bean selection is always on point with great relationship with farmers (mostly from central / south america). On top of that, you get a free drink everytime you purchase some beans.
Today was my first time in Elixr, I was visiting Philadelphia from Los Angeles. The gentleman behind the was extremely nice and very knowledgeable in the different coffees that they had. He recommended the Ethiopia Rophi. It may have been the best cup of coffee that Ive ever heard. Ive never had a coffee that that was that naturally sweet. The barista brewed it in a Chemex. I bought a bag of the Rophi to take home with me. When you buy a bag of coffee they give you a voucher for a free drink on your next visit. Too bad I live across the country and wont get to use it.
I have been here before and enjoyed it but my latest experience not so much. Before going I saw they had a 3 bags of coffee for $45 special on the website. I asked the server about it when I went in and he said they were not doing that anymore and that it was just a winter thing. ... Its early March and still winter and I said its still on your site. I still bought two bags of coffee and a latte. I paid full price for everything. As I waited the next person came in and friendly help about the coffee and how the check out process worked. they then they were offered a free coffee for their bag purchase.
This is one of the best coffee shops I’ve found anywhere. It’s tucked down a side street and is a bit tricky to stumble upon, but it’s great. Wide selection of coffee from different regions. The options for brew methods are nice to have as well. The squash latte was amazing. Highly recommend.
Always great! The staff are delightful. Good bagels with tasty honey cream cheese. Latte always on point. Nice space to do a little work or reading, though always busy and can sometimes be a bit tricky to find a seat. Cool art and good music, a nice spot in Center City!
Ive always thought that this place is the best third wave coffee roasters in the city. The coffee is incredible, its brewed reliably well but friendly people, and the atmosphere inside is amazing. The decor is perfectly executed and uniquely industrial hipster and I love it very much. It is almost always crowded and can be difficult to get a table, but its worth it.
The baristas were nice and the atmosphere was super chill w/ good music. Its a great place to knock out some work or chat. Wasnt too packed around 7pm and there were several seats and couches with coffee tables available. My wife really enjoyed her chocolate chip cookie with a oak milk mocha.
Really nice place to sit and read for a bit while sipping some amazing coffee. Do note that seating is a bit limited but there is usually a good turn over of people during the day. The baristas are super nice and take pride in making good coffee. When one of my drinks didnt taste quite right, they remade my drink for free workout any fuss. Also, you get a free drink with any bag of coffee you buy!
Friendly staff who seem warm and genuine. Nice interior with a really mellow atmosphere. Perfect place for getting some light work done or an intimate conversation, if you can snag a seat in this busy coffee shop.Had two pour-over coffees on Chemex: an Ethiopian natural and another from Argentina. Clean, delicious, and perfectly matched the tasting notes on their menu. Definitely drop by if you’re looking for a quality cup of coffee.
And the coffee is really good. Also, they serve baked goods from this woman operated bakery (I cant remember the name, I asked a bunch of times), sorry woman operated bakery, I am terrible with names, yes, they are really good croissants and stuff. Also, a good assortment of coffee, and a cool retail space. The sitting space is cool also, I didnt come to work only to disturb those working.
Elixr is a coffee shop with great Yelp ratings, but easy to miss because its off the main street and in a smaller side street. However, its worth finding. The inside is beautiful and theres lots of tables and couches to sit at. The coffee wasnt a 5 star rating, but it is good and the staff friendly. One fun touch is that you can write a postcard to a friend while you sip your coffee and they pay for the postcard and the postage! Great unique, personal touch to a great coffee shop. If youre a hipster, go here!
This place has amazing AMAZING amazing COLD BREW!!!!! Probably the best cold brew I had in my entire living breathing life. They call it something different, its called slow drip iced coffee or something like that though. So just take a look at their menu and you should find it. Its completely amazing if I did not mention that already! Aside, from their amazing cold brew I cant stop talking about the location itself is a pretty nice chill spot that is hidden in a back alley so your have to look very hard to find it. My only complaint I have about this place would be they do not offer breakfast sandwiches. They do however have bagels and stuff, which are good. But again, I highly recommend trying this place out and try out their cold brew as it is AMAZING!!!!****UPDATE**** So I have been a regular here for a while now, I really still enjoy the coffee shop however their bathroom is pretty awful most the time. I usually try to hold it until I get to work because for one its gross and does not looked like its cleaned more then once a week. Also, the door is a huge strange sliding door that does not close all the way and has a very difficult to use lock. The lock does not work unless you have the door opened a little bit which is just awkward, annoying, and weird. So aside from there awkward, disgusting, not well maintained/cleaned, dark bathroom this place is great. But if you have to go its best just to hold it in until you make it to the office.
If you are a black coffee drinker you need to try this place out. Some of the best coffee you can get in this city. The hand pour coffees are like nothing else. They have great unique flavors and come in a nice presentation. The atomasphere is a bit hip but not overly so. There are plenty of outlets so you can charge your stuff and the staff is really nice..
This is one of Philly’s hidden gems! The coffee is phenomenal, distinctive and flavorful. Although there are several unique and traditional offerings at Elixr I always get a dry cappuccino with an extra shot. And without fail I’ve never been served a drink that was short of spectacular. This is the real deal.. I love good coffee!
Very trendy aesthetic cafe in Center City. Prices are a little more expensive than your average cafe, but then again the offerings are all that average. Lots of new seasonal beverages and unique flavor combinations. Plus, if you buy a bag of coffee you get a free drink!
Yummy coffee, we had the house blend on tap, and a bagel along with a donut. They only have honey walnut cream cheese and it was good, but the donut had pink strawberry icing and was too sweet. Quick service, knowledgable staff.Pro: outlets everywhere! This was great.Con: parking, of course.Spacious, comfy and just an overall great atmosphere.
This is a great place to visit if you need a good cup of coffee or if you need to study. The decor is nice and earthy with terrariums and wood decor. They have different size tables and seating where you can work and/or study. The background music is quiet enough that you can block it out or enjoy it as background nice while you work/study. I would definitely be back. It is also a good spot to study with friends.
I probably had the best cup of coffee in my life here when visiting the city for the weekend. A delicious pour-over to go with a pear + brie sandwich. The setting was very laid back with great music playing throughout. My group sat on the couches and chatted for a while over our coffee and breakfast.Im definitely coming back here the next time I am in the city!
Elixr was a nice stop during our visit to Philadelphia. I really do try and find hidden gems, and I struck gold here. There are ample selections of pour overs, great seasonal options listed, and bagels as well as other pastry selections if youre looking for a quick snack. I personally loved the Lavender iced Latte that I chose. Overall, a very chill and welcoming place to hang out for a great cup of coffee.
I had it on good authority that this was the most delicious coffee in Philadelphia, and I can now confirm that to be the case. Our friends took us there on a visit a few months ago, and I am still enjoying the delicious roast we bought while there.I think that most people expect coffee to be bitter because that is the way Starbucks makes it. Bitter coffee, lots of sugar. But Elixr takes a lot of time to perfect their roast so that the coffee isnt bitter to start with. I think this lets them work a lot more flavor into their drinks without drowning them in sugar.
Ive been working as a barista for 3 and a half years at several specialty coffee cafes in Brisbane, Australia. As soon as I walked in knew that I was going to get a great quality brew. Loved the coffee, atmosphere and the fellow baristas there. If I could live in the US, I would totally work here.
Just a brief stop for some iced tea a quick meeting was enough to sell me on this place as one of the best coffee shops in the city - and I didnt even have a cup of the highly reviewed coffee. Ill be back ASAP to do so. Generally great feel to the place, with a nice eclectic mix of characters that makes Philly so great. In addition to everything else, the prices are surprisingly affordable. For the record, anyone who drops the term hipster in their reviews, you can safely ignore.
This place gave me pretty good morning because guys who worked there were very nice. One of the best coffees I tried and also exclusive design I had never seen nowhere before! I recommend to visit this placeUnfortunately, too many people and not that many tables as it should have!
Drinks are good but I wish customer service was better. I walked into people chatting behind the counter and not one person acknowledged me to see what I wanted to order. A person they seem to know came in and they looked over me to say hi. I am sure one less customer is the least of their concern but a reminder that when people spend their money at a business it’s a common courtesy to be friendly and at least greet and acknowledge a person at all times.
This coffee shop has a cool rustic hipster vibe, but seating is horrible and awkward. Hard to get a table for two. Had to sit awkwardly on a random couch in a corner with little access to a table to place our coffees on while we ate our croissants. Hand pour coffee was great, regular coffee was just ok. The almond croissants were phenomenal. Service was good too.If you are grabbing coffee and a snack to go, this is a great place! But if you are planning to meet up and sit and chat with someone here, I wouldn`t really recommend this coffee shop. If you need some place unique to sit and work by yourself and don`t mind sitting next to strangers, this could be a good place for that.
This place has the perfect coffee. If you are in Philadelphia and looking for a simple dignified cup of coffee, this is the place. Its tucked a ways down the side street, so it can be a little challenging to find, but there is usually a small crowd. It is always warranted.
Im not from Philadelphia and I had some work to do while I was there for a project. Anyways, I get very tired of Starbucks and Im always looking for local businesses when Im travelling. I found Elixr from Google Maps and decided to visit. This is a very cool place and has has really amazing coffee. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I got some coffee and had a seat at one of the long bench tables with some others. I looked around and noticed a really great mix of professionals, students, and blue collar people all enjoying this place. Wi-fi was good and fast and I appreciate a real mug instead of a paper cup. Ill be back Elixr!
Latte was delicious and this is important, the latte was the PERFECT temperature I cant overstate this enough. Finished it before I left. Inside is calm and inviting, staff was friendly. Lots of seating. Writing this post has me wanting another latte or maybe one of their slow drips..
By far the best cup of Ethiopian coffee Ive had....the price was a little steep at $4.25, compared to $2 for an awesome cup in other spots... atmosphere was pretty sweet, barista I experienced was dope, she was from NC so that was nostalgic for me! Could be a bit more cozy though, the way its tucked off.
Fun little coffee shop thats off the beaten path(ish) that plays edm/fun hip music. They have one long table that can fit about 8-10 people which is great for a communal work space and a few smaller tables. My only wish would be that theres more tables like the long bench style one for people to work at. Would like it if the music wasnt so loud so you could read. Overall great spot, I will visit again.
First visit here today and we liked it. I had the Las Merced and we also had the cappuccino. The hand poured coffee was great, not too strong and I recommend that. The cappuccino was good as well.. had with oat milk. Not giving this 5 stars as the location was a little dingy, it was tucked into a corner and not the easiest to find.
Thir local coffee was good but the iced coffee(americano) tasted sour like it had been made hours ago. Definitely have had better coffee than this. Cute little place with good interior and a nice quiet place to do your work but if you are very particular about your coffee this place is definitely not for you!!
Order: Pour Over, Cappuccino, LatePros: Both the pour over and espresso were exceptionally high quality, they really knew there stuff when asked about coffee, they roasted their own beans and had a wide variety for sale, their layout was both functional and attractiveCons: Parking (again just a thing you have to deal with in Philly)Thoughts: Elixr is an amazing coffee shop, and you pretty much know youve hit a gold mine as soon as you walk in. The aroma of freshly roasted espresso wafts through the air, the place is filled with people working, hanging out with friends, or just enjoying their cup of happiness. The décor evokes an old wooden bar vibe without the dinginess that sometimes comes with that style. There were plenty of pounds of coffee that were roasted by Elixr locally on sale and all the tools you need to make your own coffee at home.We ordered a cappuccino and a pour over to go as we were on a bit of a hurry and they were both amazing. In fact, we were so impressed that after sipping on the first cappuccino we actually went back to the counter and ordered another one to go.The coffee was clean, had brilliant flavor notes, and lingered on the tastebuds like good coffee should. The cappuccino had an amazing espresso, just the right amount of milk, and wonderful flavor. While we really only spent about 15 minutes in Elixr, everything we got was amazing and I really can’t say enough good about them. I would absolutely make return trips in the area and you should too.
Elixr is a wonderful detour off Walnut. Upon entering the shop, you are greeted by the delicious aroma of fresh-brewed coffee, which Elixr proudly roasts in-house. Peruse the menu for the current offerings, complete with tasting notes, and order at the counter. Delicate, yet flavorful coffee will be provided to you following a short wait.Note that it can be difficult to obtain a seat here, as the tables/couch are often occupied by people working in the shop.Tip: the purchase of a pound of coffee comes with a voucher for a free drink (any drink)!
Elixr is one of the best places to grab your morning cup in the whole city. I am a huge fan of their latte! This place is a sentimental favorite of mine! Whenever I go to downtown Philadelphia, I go there to get my delicious cup of coffee! Great coffee, great small bites, and good choice for real coffee lovers!
A Good coffee shop. Do not think of a Starbucks or another chain when you go in here. They do not serve that kind of coffee. They have a warm atmosphere and good coffee. They were pretty busy when I went and there was no where to sit, but the experience was still pleasant.
Ordered the matcha latte with oat milk and its was the worst Ive ever had. Starbucks is better. Is was such a pale green and didnt even have the slightest matcha flavor. I took a few sips and it tasted like warm milk. I wound up throwing it out in the first trash can I saw. For almost $5 that was incredibly disappointing. Their almond croissant also has zero almond Flavor. For a coffee shop with such great reviews, this experience was dreadful and a waste of $8 and food. Everything went in the trash. Hopefully their coffeenis better than their food and matcha lattes.
Rude, passive aggressive customer service. Need a lesson on dealing with customers in a polite manner.I apologized for doing something incorrectly and was met with EXTREME passive aggressiveness I heard you apologize the 3 other times...I got it. Just shockingly rude to be honest. Wont be going back.
Definitely in my top 3 coffee shops in Philly. Great service, great barristas, perfect coffee (they roast their own, and their beans are what I buy to make coffee at home). For their oat milk, they use the Oatly brand, which is hands down the best. Rotating art work by local artists is featured on one of the larger walls.
Update: I returned today to Elixr again today. I ordered their seasonal tea and a brie and pear baguette. The seasonal tea had a very unpleasant undertone and was overall disappointing. The brie and pear sandwich was just that, with some added greens. The greens were good, but there was too much on the sandwich and their biterness took away from the sandwich. The cheese and bread were both very delcious and fresh. However, the pear was complete mush and there was hardly any on the sandwich. It would have benefited greatly from the addition of some kind of honey or fruit preserves, and a fresher pear.Previously: Hats off to Elixr for providing truly unique lattee options on the menu. I ordered the flora, which contained a unique blend of earl grey, strawberry jam, rosewater and espresso garnished with basil. This is definitely a unique combo that had my adventurous side very excited. However, I found the lattee the flavor of the lattee to be pleasant and complex but it wasnt something I would necessarily order again or find myself wanting more of. It was $5.75 for a small cup and I found the price point to be a little steep. Additionally, the vibe is cozy but it is very packed. That have accommodated this with lots of bench seating and outlets below which is awesome, but the small tables in front of the bench space does not make it a very good work space. Roughly 10 people were sitting in the group bench space on their laptops. I would reccomend a higher table to make better use of the space or offering customers lap desks as needed to make the experience more enjoyable, as this is a bit deterring.
This part of Philly is saturated with coffee shops, so finding the perfect cuppa can be a little exhausting. Especially since a lot of them are chains/sell mediocre coffee. Elixir is an exception. With its urban/rustic decor it has delicious coffee and a variety of eclectic pastries (read: you wont find your generic choc croissant here. Its better than that). Its vegan friendly too!
Very unique kind of coffee shop that caters to all people and is very people orientated and has quite a selection of artisan hand selected flavors and drinks that would astound you in quality and open your palette up to ways you never thought coffee or espresso could before, very community friendly and has vegan and vegetarian options aswell as fresh baked goods and signature drinks that they rotate often to showcase different sources and distrubuters, staff seem to love working there and that makes the envoirment so much more welcoming then the generic overpriced starschmucks, was served by a wonderfully pleasant individual named Emmet who really helped me decide what drink would be best for me and my taste instead of rushing me through the order to get it done and it helped me find the perfect drink to match my taste and even suggested their preferences of serving it over ice to ehance the flavor and make it somewhat refreshing on a blistering hot day. Very much appreciated the expierence and left me in love with this coffee lounge, its a hidden gem in the city that I wish I could show all of my coffee connoisseur fiends because it really is worth a look
Elixr has become my standard for great coffee. They have a rotating collection of light roast coffees that are all fairly well described on the coffee menu. The coffees are well sourced, well roasted, and well brewed. If you have time to sit in, order one of their grilled cheeses with your coffee.
Here you can- Do what you do at a coffee house that has plenty of outlets, with friends, solo or coworkers. Order French press coffee, hand dipped coffee, and grab less commonly available teas like Palo Santo tea.My ratings are based on a scale of 1 to 5 stars, where 1 is tragic and 5 is Ouuwww terrific!Overall ratings- 4.5 starsCustomer service- 5 starsCleanliness- 4 star open space 2 stars for the restroom.Coffee taste/ quality- unknown I had teaTea quality- 5 starDrink portions- 5 star for the moneyFood taste- unknownDecor- 4.5 star Warm and modern with industrial touches. Elixr was a bit harder to find since its located in an alleyway so be sure look for signage on their door.Inside, I remember there were two nooks on each side of the stairway leading to the main area. Knowing I would want to get a souvenir, Elixr coffee beans were prominently on display opposite the baristas. If you buy a bag of beans, they give you a complimentary drink--one of the few local shops I know which do this so take advantage. I ended up ordering the chai latte which was solid--not too spicy.Although there were plenty of windows, the shop didnt have a lot of natural lighting, but I could envision myself easily getting work done here as the environment wasnt too loud.
Great atmosphere, great coffee overall, but very disappointed by the service I received here the past couple of times by the same person. I work in the service industry as well and understand good customer service habits but unfortunately this person left a bad taste in my mouth. I really like Elixrs coffee so Ill be returning, but Ill be crossing my fingers that this employee isnt working.
Finding a hand pour Cemex coffee house is hard to find. I traveled from mid New Jersey to get it. Hand pour will always beat a drip or machine any day. They offered 4 different beans so made me want to sit and order all of them. Typical hand pour can be around $7, here only $5

2022-06-20Popped in here to try Elixr’s mocha. Such a cute space. Coffee smelled delightful. Really great frothiness and good balance of chocolate. Recommend getting it “for here” and enjoying your coffee and the space!

2022-05-01A very good coffee place without any sign outside. The coffee shop looks cozy and stylish. Cortado was extremely great!!

2022-05-08Good coffee (with oat milk; they have oat and soya milk options) and vegan doughnuts. Also a nice place to work, though can be a bit noisy on the weekends.

2021-09-08I order whole beans online, roasted and shipped daily, and arrive fast. Their 3 bags for $45 is a solid deal and I’ve had great service, I texted them through the site to ask about roast levels and they even gave me suggestions for brewing ratios. I will keep ordering and tell my friends!

2021-09-13I dont know if it was the time of day I went or what, but that staff seemed really depressed! I felt like they could have used a bit of caffeine for themselves! The cappucino was really good, but that Tahini Shakerato was nasty! I dont know if its cause im used to having tahini with my shawarma or what, but it was overpowering the entire drink by far. The atmosphere in the shop was pretty down as well. Again - not sure if I came at the wrong time or what, but I would not come back again.

2022-03-17Great tasting roast and friendly service…but the cappuccino is a tiny latte (all milk and almost no foam).
