I’d like to share my worst experience for the benefit of people who like to rent at this place. I have rented vehicles three times at this enterprise location in Bloomsburg, PA. Every time I received a call from them half an hour before my pick up time saying that they didn’t have the vehicle that I was confirmed online the day before. After my protest, they call back and say they do have an upgraded vehicle and I’ll need to pay extra. This literally happened three times and I ignored the two incidents but now I really believe that these people are up to something and wanted to leave my feedback. I’d recommend enterprise corporate to seriously investigate this matter for the benefit of their customers and consumer fair practices. I’d certainly avoid this location in the future.
Ive been renting from them for years. What can I say ... its 2020 and following suit with nothing going right. We picked up the car a half hour before they closed because we wanted an early start the next day...got charged a full day for that. Things happened that the dog had to come. I covered the back seat but hair was in the carpet and it was raining so I couldnt get it vacuumed.. thats $70-$100 extra... was also charged $10 each day for my husband to drive (Im waiting to be refunded that). This years selection was awful..my husband is a tall man and had two vehicles to choose from neither were comfortable. In past they had a great selection. Id say give them a try it might have been just the timing.
Worst customer service I have ever had in my entire life from a rental company and I never complain. No communication, booked my reservation weeks in advance, the day before our trip I was told a van wasnt going to be available finally was able to get one arrived the next day to pick up right on time and no one was there and no one contacted me. Completely ruined our entire trip. Just rent from U-save and save yourself the disappointment
An early departure required late pickup the night before and drop off the last day by closing to avoid the extra charge. Mgmt has changed from Cassandra, who was exceptionally focused on the customer. Logan is the new manager and done new young kids who either don’t care about the business or the customers. When I picked up the car, they had “washed it”. As I inspected it before taking it, I noticed it was wet. In a closer look, it had not been scrubbed around the dirt-stained headlights, windows or windshield. In fact, even had the “new car” numbering on the rear passenger window. I told the guy who didn’t seem to be bothered by the comment on the lack of washing.When returning it, it was 4:35 pm, I was home (15 minute drive) and called to ask for them to drop me off because there was nobody at home when I got there. Previous managers had no issues with such a request. The guy suggested that I keep the car till the morning because he had nobody who could do that. I asked him if he would charge extra, he said he would have to. I was confused because this is standard service at Enterprise. I told him I would figure it out and went there to drop it off. I walked in and there were 3 additional people just seemingly hanging out.Super disappointed with the new approach to caring for customers.Bring people like Cassandra or Eric back or teach these whippersnappers how to treat the reason for their existence better, namely the customer!
There were a few things that I wasnt happy about with my experience. One they upgraded me to the next level vehicle and CHARGED me the extra $4 a day without asking. They just assumed that was going to be ok. If they didnt have the type of vehicle I reserved there they should have not charged for my upgrade. 2nd, I had called about my reservation and they called to confirm a few days prior and never once told me that the daily insurance was not added to my quote. That added on an addition $80 that I did not have. I did really enjoy having the car I did. And they did allow me an extra 35 mins when I returned it because I had so much to unpack from it, so that I am grateful for. Aladdin when I got there I was pretty much ambushed at the door. I wasnt allowed into the building. Due to COVID I understand but I truly felt ambushed and I could not comprehend alot of what was being explained to me because I be was trying to ward off a panic attack. If employees are reading this please keep this in mind when approaching people. You cant just run up to everyone. I felt pressured to pay the additional upgrade fee that I never asked for as well. Very poor customer service in those areas.
5 stars for check in and check out. Reps were professional and efficient. My beef? Enterprise connects the two keys together with a metal wire. They cannot be separated. I was packing the Jeep I rented and set the keys down on the front seat. Stepped away to get more belongings and 10 seconds later I heard the doors lock. Doors would not unlock, despite the keys being right next to the passenger side door (handles had an unlock button). I had to pay $58 for AAA to unlock it. Why force the renter to keep the keys connected so they cant be kept separate? Why do the doors lock automatically and so quickly? I will likely rent again from Enterprise because of convenience only.
My car was in an accident this morning. Insurance arranged a rental for tomorrow morning. I called to try to arrange pickup for tonight in order to be at work on time tomorrow. Instead of catering to the customer and arranging the accommodation, they said I would be charged extra because they only have midsize cars. I have rented several times from Enterprise in CT and never had this issue before.
They were all freindly .The gentleman that took the return was great. I had a big heavy box 8n the car I rented He took me to the dealership, waited until I paid. Waited while they located my car, then he put that big heavy box in my own car without me asking He was nice and conversational.
I have been a continuous customer of the Bloomsburg Pennsylvania Enterprise branch for the last few years. Between my wife and I we have utilized there services at least 5 times within the past year, and never had I had such a horrible experience like I just had. Eric was the past branch manager, and has been great to my wife and I, always considerate and adhering to our request, but Sarah on the other hand WAS NOT!! Like I always do I reserved my car weeks in advance, but this time around I didn’t receive a call to verify my reservation which I found odd. When we did arrive Sarah was at the front desk, and it took 15 minutes for my wife and I to even be noticed. When we were finally spoken to Sarah told us we could not receive the car we reserved and had to settle for a lesser car because we had a debit card on hand and not a credit card, which by the way was never an issue EVER with our past reservations, so I did not expect it to be any different this time. Her reason was that it was a liability concern which I found odd because we have insurance coverage for our rental car, which I paid extra for prior to arriving just to cover any damages or loss to the vehicle. So not only did I have to pay extra for insurance for a car I didn’t receive, I also had to be greeted by Sarah who had a serious attitude and wasn’t looking to find a way to resolve the problem. The reason for our consistent return was because of the great customer service, but this visit has left a horrible memory, and a bitter start to my vacation!
At first, I was upset because the intermediate car we rented had a crack in the windshield and our departure time was delayed an hour. They had to get a vehicle from another location. Enterprise made up for it though, our vehicle was upgraded to an SUV at no additional cost. I will definitely rent from them again in the future.
USE TO BE MY RECOMMENDED CAR RENTAL SERVICEBUT Customer loyalty or appreciation mean absolutely NOTHING. Whats the point of being a repeat faithful consumer to a company who turns around and denies me a rental the day of my BEST friends wedding!!! Why? Oh because apparently since I moved to a new house and have a new address than my license. THEY USE A COLOR CIRCLE SYSTEM AND IF THE CIRCLE IS THE WRONG COLOR BECAUSE A COMPUTER DOESNT LIKE THAT I MOVED RECENTLY IM NOT ALLOWED TO RENT A CAR MY.MONEY ISNT GOOD ENOUGH.... my loyalty to this joke of company FOR 2 YEARS MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. MY BUSINESS MEANS nothing.THANK FOR NOTHING!WILL NO LONGER RECIEVE MY BUSINESS BUT THEY CLEARLY DONT CARE.
This is an update to my previous review. I have used this facility several times since my first review and under new management, they are tremendously approved. Highly recommend.Be careful. I am a frequent rental car renter for my business. I reserved a car at the Bloomsburg enterprise and arrived less than 30 minutes after the scheduled time for the pick up. They had already rented my car and said there were no other cars on the lot. I ended up renting a car from an airport location for my business trip. They were apologetic only after I contacted enterprise national.
I rented through insurance after an accident. My collision shop organized the rental, which specified to have a small car. A small car was very important to me, I drive 60+ miles a day sometimes 6 days a week to work. After arriving to drop off my car and pick up my rental I was told by the enterprise rep that I had to be moved from the Jeep because of a cracked windshield and I would be taking a ford f150. Neither vehicle was a small car, the reservation was made weeks in advance. I refused to take the vehicle because of the cost of travel. I then waited as they rushed a new car for me. I got a ford fusion full sized car. The interior of the car was horrible. The windshield was so dirty you could barely see out of it when the sun hit it. I thought maybe the person could clean glass like me, then I noticed the FOOTPRINT on the passenger side of the windshield. I had the car for over 2 weeks and in that time was never given a different car and spent almost 275$ on gas when I normally would have spent maybe 60$. The manager apparently was told of the situation and my general dissatisfaction and has yet the even attempt to contact me. Overall my experience was terrible and I wouldnt recommend them to anyone after this.
Using the App, I can reserve the car in such a simple way, amazing!!I rented the car to another city, the price of returning in different location is reasonable. Will refer to my friends in the future if they need.The cars are very new and comfortable to drive. Staffs are professional and nice.
Very rude not only to me but to my boyfriend and his father. Would not rent a car that was already paid for. Bold faced lied saying i needed proof of income and he couldnt call us because we didnt enter a phone number. BS thats why its on my receipt in my email. Dont recomend this location and said all the other rental operations didnt do their jobs because they rented us a car. How the hell if i flew in from somewhere could i possible show proof of income? Maybe if I was wearing a business attire I would have gotten the car. Dont waste your time coming to this location they dont deserve 1 star. Thanks for making me and my family lose 300.00 plus in hotel rooms that we couldnt get refunded because of your ignorance . That amount hurt our expenses for nothing
Normally I have had a good experience with Enterprise rent a car however this experience was not so good. Not only was I overcharged, they took funds out of my account each week in the amount of $300 some dollars causing my account to be overdrawn. I did not receive any paperwork giving them permission to take out the funds and was told they would settle up once the car was brought back. My coworker was in a car accident and her insurance called Enterprise in Sellingsgrove and she is only being charged $100 every other week for a 2018 Toyota Camry and the ins. is only $5 not $15 as I was being charged. Plus the website advertises $7 and $9 rentals per day but yet I was charged for a rental due to auto accident, which was not my fault $21.50 per day plus $15.99 for ins too. Now how is that fair. I asked for a receipt so I could send it into the guy who hit me ins co for reimbursement and instead the receipt was emailed to me when I requested it not to be.
Everyone was very nice and accommodating. When I was ready to return car they were even willing to either wait till I got there a little past hours or drop off car at place I got my car fixed and they would pick it up in morning. Would absolutely rent vehicle from them again if ever would need to.
The Bloomsburg Enterprise Team is first rate when it comes to customer service. We have been working with this office for a few years now and we are always satisfied with our experience.My car was ready when I came to pick it up and was out of there within 15 minutes. Upon returning our rental Monday morning, I was able to simply hand in my keys and be on my way. The new handheld devices the employees use are very effecient & reduces alot of back & forth with checking mileage, damage,e tc. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TEAM FOR WEEKEND RENTALS. Casandra & Eric are awesome!!
I have used Enterprise, Bloomsburg on several occasions over the last few years.I use the android app to book my rental which makes it very easy.When I arrive at the Bloomsburg location I am waited on promptly by a friendly staff member.The process is quick and painless for the rental.The vehicles have always been clean and I have never experienced an issue with any of the vehicles I have rented.Drop off is easier that the pick up process.Price wise I have found renting to be a good value and have on at least two occasions been provided with an upgrade which was an added bonus.I will continue to rent from Enterprise, Bloomsburg in the future.
First time working with the Bloomsburg location, and I couldn’t have been happier with my experience. From start to finish, Sarah made the process easy and painless, as well as going above and beyond with exceptional customer service. I highly recommend this location.
Girls were great, guy named Derrick or Eric was rude and lied, I actually never saw him he lied over the phone to another enterprise agent not knowing I was in the vehicle listening via Bluetooth. If my issue is not rectified I will be advising everyone to avoid this location I dont want to knock enterprise when it was one person. ThanksOk, my issue was resolved, everyone was courteous and professional. I posted out of anger and Eric is a decent guy, as he fixed this issue. It was a computer screen not a lie I apologize for that comment. Rent here they will take care of you.Thanks
Terrible place to rent a car from!They had given me a car that wasnt properly cleaned, trash under the seats and dirt under the floor matts.. not the mention the multiple cigarette burns and markings from the last person who rented it! Ash all over the top of the windows and food dried into the weaving of the fabric on the passenger seat...Horrible experience if you are looking for a clean car with honest employees...
Rude staff who didnt care about losing business plus Drove all the way there for them to tell me because Im using a debit card I need a copy of my utility bill and a pay stub. Mind you this was the 4th time using them and Ive never provided a copy of the utility bill before. If theyre going to have different rules then the other locations they should list them before people find a ride to a place thats 25 minutes away.
For over 20 years I was a member of their customer club ... never an issue with the Chelsea, MA office ... more than a dozen rentals over the years. Perhaps its only the particular office (Bloomsburg, PA) but their trainees often have zero knowledge of their own companys policies. Becomes a problem when a customer relies on what one of their management trainees says. Im going back to Hertz.
Horrible service many of times for My son and now myself I reserved a car just to go there to pick it up and them tell me they didnt have a car for me and claimed they tried calling me but I had no calls from them. Ive rented from them before but I will never again Ill go right down the street to the other rental place at least there they have your car when you reserve it
The first thing I noticed about the Enterprise Rental at the Bloomsburg, Pa. center was how they were assisting customers who had been there renting. Bloom Enterprise worked with each customer, navigating through any personal issues by which they gauged how they could best suit their situations. The rest was downhill.........literally.
I drove there after a problem with my car which I rented earlier from Beacon. There was only one car from our lineup available, its quite strange and disturbing to be under rated after paying when the problem is with the company.The staff on site were welcoming, but alone to manage the standard AND the reception

2022-01-12Walked in and talked about renting a vehicle for a weekend. We didnt have a reservation and they still took their time and helped us and was able to get us into a 2020 Nissan altmia. The whole overall experience was great! Friendly staff and great people! Would definitely go through them again if needed!

2021-12-01After being in touch for 4 days about the desperate need for a rental car after an accident, I called the day scheduled to make sure they were able to secure an SUV or truck, as I didn’t want a car due to the road conditions on the mountain I live on. I was assured all was ready but then when I called ready to go get the vehicle , they had nothing and weren’t ready. I do understand the demand and limited supplies, but it was very upsetting, and frustrating that I had to scramble and call other locations with fingers crossed only to find out, I have to wait yet another day and have to beg family for a vehicle to use for yet another day.

I have used this branch a number of times for both personal and corporate rentals and have yet to have a negative experience. Great Job Bloomsburg Enterprise!

2022-01-25This company doubled charged me for gas! Got them to re-look at gas on unit that I used and agreed that it was wrong and credited me the money. But when I look in account they charge me again the the gas. Terrible place to do business! Would not recommend !!!

2021-04-08Changed the details. Ive been renting from enterprise for 2 years. 2 cars a month and now suddenly I cannot use a debit card and the hold fee went up.They used to be fairly pleasant. But felt the cold shoulder this time for sure.

2020-12-22I have been renting from this location for over two years. I find that the new manager Brandon provides exceptional customer service. He is caring, kind, and will go above and beyond to see that a customers needs are met. I am really grateful to have him as our local enterprise manager because of his customer service skills. I feel both safe and welcome at this location and they try to take care of my rental needs as best as they can. Thanks, Brandon and crew.ps The four stars is because I had an awful experience with an employee but I have not had to deal with him since. Now, everyone who is there treats me great.

2020-12-29Didnt have class I reserved when I got there and they didnt let me know ahead of time. Should have offered me a discount in addition to dropping a class but didnt. Did offer to give me the class I ordered in couple days when they got in but I didnt want to hassle with it. Was also not happy that one way rental is double the price. Other than that everything was ok. Drop off after hours was easy.Edit_the manager reached out to me and made an adjustment and was very apologetic and sincere. Really appreciate this and added a star to my review!
