Great work extensively tailoring a tuxedo. Within a few minutes we dialed in the lower leg fit, jacket fit and shirt. Those changes really made a huge difference (above and beyond waist size, inseam and jacket sleeve length). Appointments were quick, work quality was excellent, and the price was right. Ill be bringing my other less formal button-up shirts and pants to be adjusted.
Did great alterations to my wedding dress as well as some of my bridesmaids dresses. Very professional, high quality and reasonably priced. I will continue to have all of my alterations done here!
Erie Alterations is amazing!! She worked with my wedding dress and it fit perfectly for my big day! I was able to walk with confidence and I felt absolutely beautiful!! What’s more- The price was super reasonable!!! I will definitely be coming back to Erie Alterations for everything from here on out!!!
She did last minute alterations for a dress for me. Fast, reliable, friendly and professional. I will go back, for all my alterations. Very pleased,and I would recommend her shop highly.
I went to Erie Alterations to have my wedding dress altered because she had come highly recommended to me by multiple people. However my experience with the quality of work was awful.I took in my wedding dress, that for the most part fit, it needed some minor work done to adjust the fit of the sleeves, and the bustle. I had questioned why the stomach/ middle area had a fold through it, and she suggested that she may have to have to take it out so would lay flat. OK fine no problem, this was still two months away though, so I told her lets wait and do that closer to the date in the event I lose some weight.So the second fitting came in which I took my bridesmaid to, to help point things out (because I felt I wasnt being guided properly- I will get to that later) that needed adjusted. After I realized the cup had been sewn in upside down and that the lace straps needed adjusted yet again she told me to take the dress off- as if we were done. Without even addressing the middle part (stomach area) of the dress that still very obviously needed attention. So I had to ask her to take a look at the middle part- it was still folding. She then proceeded to just feel where on the seams needed adjusting and then had me take it off. No pinning done.So now, I went back today to get my final fitting done. Only to leave in tears, as my dress was worse with the changes she had made. I would have preferred it be too tight. It was still folding in middle but now was loose! Its a form fitting dress, and now fits even worse through the stomach area and hips. Which again, she wasnt acknowledging. So when I asked her, she said there is nothing she could do, and that there was no more room to let it out. I am not a large girl, my stomach is flat. I am not a seamstress, but the dress is loose on the stomach and you need to let it out more? She then told me I could just pull it down... all day on my wedding day, your suggestion is to pull my wedding dress down? She offered no suggestion, no aid as to why the dress looked the way it now did. I told her I didnt think the dress looked right, and she still sent me out the door with it just that way. The work she did wasnt acceptable, and she simply didnt want to fix her mistake.I am shocked an appalled at the sort of work that came out of this shop. I went there expecting to be guided on how/what needed altered to make my wedding dress perfect. What I found was that she wanted me to tell her what I wanted done; I dont know what needs done, I am not a seamstress. I have never been fitted for a wedding dress, I dont know what the length is supposed to be or how the straps are supposed to fit. THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE HERE FOR.Overall I was completely unsatisfied with the work from Erie Alterations. I now have about a week to find someone new and get my wedding dress fixed. Not to mention I now have to pay someone else to redo the work.

I had a suit taken in in 2014. When i last wore it I weighed 250lbs and was a 38 waist. When I had her take in the suit I weighed 200lbs and was a 34-36 waist. Not only was she able to take the pants in (easy), but she marked the jacket and was able to take it from having excess room in the stomach to being a tailored fit suit.Phenomenal work and a very reasonable price.Work was done before my need date (brought 2 suits 1 to get hemmed on the pants and one to be taken in. Needed the hem in a week, both were done in that week).Would absolutely recommend and go again.
Was very quick to set up an appointment to get my wedding dress altered, the price was very reasonable, and she got it done much quicker than I expected! :) very knowledgeable, too!

I had my pants hemmed here which was done correctly. The manner in which the tailor job was completed however resulted in the fabric not being removed which made the pants have a very heavy, stiff leg.
Was willing to see me same-day and got the job done in minimal time! Excellent outcome, very happy with the results. Followed military requirements perfectly as well. Thank you!

2022-07-22Contacted Erie Alterations from a friend recommendation thru their website. Inquired about an appointment immediately after work at 5PM or possibility of a Saturday for alterations to a new suit. A week later I have received no response. Unprofessional. I located another tailor with Saturday hours in the area and will be giving them my future business.

2020-08-21Erie Alterations did a phenomenal job of altering my wedding dress, which included properly sizing it overall (it was too large for me), hemming it, sewing in bra cups and creating a bustle. The service was professional, appointments were easy to make, the price was reasonable and most importantly, the workmanship on my dress was fantastic. Very, very highly recommended!

2017-04-17Erie Alterations hemmed and added a bustle to my wedding gown for my 2015 wedding. The place I purchased my gown from did not offer alterations so I was scrambling to find a place to alter my dress and was running out of my time. The woman here took me in, thankfully! And she fixed my dress with plenty of time to spare. To say her prices were reasonable would be an understatement. She really helped us out and took away so much stress. Not to mention she was so kind and sweet (which was also much appreciated after dealing with some not-so-kind wedding vendors). She also sewed in a Navy patch to the inside/ bottom of my gown to honor a dear family friend of ours. I was completely, 100% satisfied with our experience. Ill never go anywhere else! 2019-07-29The service was nice, quick and affordable. I had a dress I needed altered for my sisters wedding. It was shirt notice for them and they were able to get it done nicely and quickly. I will definitely use them again.

2018-07-16I got my wedding dress from the Winner and needed some alterations. After looking around at reviews, and getting a recommendation from a mens dresswear shop that sends their customers to erie Alterations I chose to go with them. It was easy enough to find the building, her studio is in her garage, but dont let that fool you, it was really lovely! There are two separate dressing rooms, the one I went in both times has two big mirrors and great light with a big chair for my mom to sit in. She was extremely professional and so nice. The bustle of my dress looked like the dress could have been made that way. Mind you I brought my dress to her with only 6-8 weeks before my wedding. The alterations were done well, they forgot to fix one missing button and she quickly fixed it while we were there. The price was very reasonable. Im very pleased with my whole experience. Our honeymoon is in December, I have a few pieces that could fit better and I will definitely be bringing them to her!

2019-03-26I just received my prom dress only an hour ago and I have never been happier! It is even more perfect than when I bought it! The work is exquisite and very precise! They owne is such a sweet and impeccable lady! I will definitely go again in the future!
