The girls at the front were very friendly and welcoming and the store was clean and organized. My wax specialist, Patience, was amazing and great at her job! She has a great personality and promotes a professional attitude. It’s hard to find customer service that will go above and beyond these days but I definitely found it here.
Under new management and all new estheticans. I had Amber with the trainer and once solo. I then booked with Patience based off the Google reviews. I would definitely book with Amber if I go back. She followed all the steps and clean up was much better. I had wax residue after my appointment with Patience and the service was longer than expected (about 30 mins) for a Brazilian bikini. I definitely recommend Amber if you are looking for a new waxer, shes very friendly and has a good technique.
First time visiting this Brookhaven location; it’s super clean and the staff is very nice. I haven’t been waxed in over a year and Patience did an amazing job—she was quick, painless, and friendly :) highly recommend!

Super great experience! I haven’t had my brows done in a long time and was a little nervous to have them waxed. HOWEVER, my servicer, Rashaadah, was AMAZING, super nice, helped me relax, taught me how my eyebrows lay naturally, and I hardly felt it! I will DEFINITELY be back, great experience! 🤩
This was my first time getting a bikini wax ever in my life. Shintara was really great! She was gentle and I experienced very minimal pain. You can tell she has a really good technique. I’m looking forward to our next session

I move this summer and changed to the Brookhaven location. I always love how nice everyone is. Rashaadah is super friendly, easy to talk to, and does a thorough job. Getting waxed can be an uncomfortable and awkward, but even as a plus-sizes person, Rashaadah always makes me comfortable! I would definitely recommend this location and Rashaadah!

This was my second time scheduling with Patience because the first time i was late and had to cancel. She was soooooo nice, attentive, and informative. I must say Ive had the best experience here at the Brookhaven location. My wax specialist Morgan is the best! Very personalble, efficient and makes you feel at ease. The manger Ms. Latasha is very diligent and courteous. Shes always there to assist any way she can. I would definitely recommend my friends and family.
Highly recommend!! It was my first time getting my armpits waxed. I was super nervous but kurren made the service easy and quick for me. Her talking to me the entire time kept me distracted . I will definitely be a consistent customer at this location.

My waxer Kahiya was great. Probably one of my best experiences at EWC. She not only gave me a great wax but gave me great insight on exfoliating and helping with ingrown hairs I started to develop. I’m sad I will not be returning to this particular location. My waxer was excellent however the women at the front desk are extremely rude. They lack professionalism, they talk over guests, they do not listen, they tried to charge my card on file for the wax pass even tho I said no! One woman “Latasha” even hung up on me. I’ve tried to call corporate but haven’t heard back. This location needs to retrain the women at their front desk because their customer service skills are no where to be found. I will not be back!Jan 2022********Update***** This location is under new management and YOU CAN TELL. Omg where do i start. The ladies at the receptionist desk were LOVELY. Sherell and Brianna were extremely friendly to the point i bought a package lol. Patience was PHENOMENAL i mean I’ve never gotten a wax that didn’t hurt. I gave her a disclaimer that i was a drama Queen. Her name suits her to a T. She was friendly & gentle. She even asked permission to tweeze the stubborn hair. I’ve been to several EWC throughout Philadelphia but this location is unmatched and the girls should be recognized! Book with Patience and thank me later!

Rashaadah was amazing! It was my second wax ever but she made me feel super comfortable we talked laughed and it was painless sounds crazy but tweezing my eyebrows hurt more lol.
Usually a great place with great service. Would recommend. I was late. Totally my fault. I checked in at the door and the ladies at counter totally ignored me, they never came to the door to say you were over your grace period. I would have accepted that because I was late. I had to call to see why I couldn’t come in. That was RUDE! Next time someone is late, especially since I paid for a wax pass!!! Please have the common courtesy to tell them and not ignore them.

Today I went to get serviced at European wax center in Brookhaven pa. First inconvenience was I had to scan the bar code on the door to alert staff that I was here and then wait for a text message to be able to enter the center. As I’m waiting in front of the center a lady came to the door and informed me that I could not bring my INFANT baby into the center. My baby was secured in his stroller and would not have disrupted the flow of the center. I have visited other centers in which I have witnessed children inside the center. I haven’t been here since getting pregnant and today was my first time attempting to go after having my baby. I felt discriminated against for being a mother. When booking doesn’t it say “I am woman hear me roar” well I’m not roaring I’m embarrassed and saddened that I could not be serviced because I am a mom. If I had someone to look after my baby I wouldn’t have brought him with me. Even after the phone call this morning this policy was not informed to me. By the way, my services have already been paid for, because I purchased a few in advanced. I’m going to call around and see how can I be refunded, because I am a mother 24 hours 7 days a week. Again I feel embarrassed and discriminated against for being a woman with a child.

My wax specialist Rashaadah had wonderful customer service, she made me feel very comfortable with it being my first time. She talked me though it.
First let me say, my waxing was great and my waxer (although I don’t recall her name) was phenomenal. These are not critiques of her and her services and I want that established.1) I was not told the facility was practicing VERY strict Covid precautions. I was also not told there was no waiting in their waiting room, as their lobby is locked.2) there is a sign on the front door that details how to check in. It’s not natural to read it, as there is a lot of text in the sign. It states we have to check in from the outside and on our phones. This should be sent in the automatic texts and emails so there’s no confusion.3) the two receptionists were extremely rude when it came to checking in. I noticed the door was locked and immediately a woman in the hallway with a swiffer mop pointed in my direction. That was the ONLY recognition I got from both staff members. I couldn’t read her lips as she was wearing a mask.4) eventually I was told to text the number on the sign. I said it’s difficult when you don’t know the process, as the last facility I was at did a completely different process. The receptionists were quite rude in stating I should’ve read the sign. I understand I should’ve, but their gestures and failure to advise what ought to be done was not professional.Go to the one in Broomall.
Everyone was super welcoming and friendly. Also everyone was very knowledgeable about products. My wax specialist was Great! She was very calm and professional and helped me with my nerves since it was my first time. Definitely recommend

Morgan was great. Aside from needing to get an appointment in quickly (which I was able to do), Morgan was super supportive during my first time being back after covid (and trust me, I needed her support!) She talked me through, gave some time in between the difficult (and painful) welcome back waxing and engaged wonderfully. Staff was super friendly, built some rapport with me and made me feel at home since I was driving 40 minutes to that location. Because of Morgan, Ill 100% be back and making that 40 minute drive just for her and the staff. Thank you for making me feel like child birth was way easier (even though this was quicker) and helping me laugh through the pain. 😊

Everyone at Brookhaven location is always so welcoming and I really appreciate how they have implemented their Covid protocols. I have been going to Morgan for a couple of months now and I have nothing but good things to say about her. She always makes you feel comfortable and she does a great job every time. I will definitely be recommending my friends to see her specifically.

This being my 1st time i was very nervous but my specialist made me feel very comfortable. And the ladies at the front are very welcoming.
The first time going I was late, so I had to reschedule. The morning that I was suppose to be there I was called 2 hours before my appointment to get it rescheduled because the tech had to leave and I showed up at the time of my appointment today and it was told to me that we have to reschedule because the tech didn’t come in. She claims that she was calling me since 8:30 am and couldn’t get in contact with me. I do have a voicemail.
I had an appointment at 9:30 today and the sign on the door say they open at “9:00” am but as I was walking in the door was unlocked and the girl at the front door was on the phone and yelling I’m not open yet. This was at 9:28 so I waited at the door until 9:30 and walked in again to see what time they will be open and she said no one is here to do a wax and that’s why the lights is off. Like I stated earlier my appointment was for 9:30 so I’m confused on why it’s no one here to do my wax. The lady at the front door is very rude and unprofessional. She never greeted me when I walked in or apologized for my inconvenience.
Just had my first appointment with Andrea and I have never felt more comfortable. She talked me through the entire process and although I was nervous at first, I didn’t feel like that or anything by the end of my appointment. I look forward to coming back in 4 weeks! Thank you!

I don’t think I’ve ever left a review about a wax because they are always the worst. I’ve been getting Brazilians for almost a year and I dread them. However, Alecia was so quick and personable! It was the best experience. I felt very little pain or discomfort for how fast she pulls and keeps the conversation going so you don’t even remember the wax. I will be requesting her every time.
I am a longtime customer of European Wax, this was my first time at the Brookhaven location. I read reviews about how great Patience was, and when I came in I figured I was lucky enough that she was the one taking my online appointment. She was great with conversation and seemed to genuinely care. However, when it came to my eyebrows it did not matter what I wanted. Walked out with one eyebrow noticeably thicker than the other, and it was a problem when I asked her to correct it.

She helped keep me calm, she held a wonderful conversation, she explained the process, and answered all my questions!! She was the epitome of her name - PATIENT!!! 2022-08-07I had my very first Brazilian wax about two months ago and I booked with Jahniya, she made me feel comfortable was friendly and honestly for my first time the pain was 5/10 it didn’t hurt as bad as people said it would, unfortunately my second time around I was unable to book with Jahniya due being out for awhile she told me that the second best person to go to would be Amber but she didn’t have any openings that fit around my schedule so I booked with Patience. I’m not sure what the difference was but my second time around hurt worst she didn’t let me know when she was going to pull the wax off even left some wax on my skin. Only thing good I can say is that she got all the hair off attitude was ok. I have an appointment with Amber in September so I’ll see how it goes. I hope that Jahniya comes back if not I hope that I will like Amber.

2022-06-27Management NEEDS TO DO BETTER!I’ve been getting Brazilian waxes for 3 months now. At my previous appointment like at every appointment I had requested and booked with Patience (who is my favorite waxer and does a fabulous job) for my next wax which was before my family vacation. On the day of my appointment i watch as the waxer who I had BOOKED with 3-4 weeks prior brings back a completely different person. I immediately go up to the front desk to find out what was going on and they let me know that my appointment had been moved to another waxer WITHOUT my consent. No text, email or phone call was given asking me if I would be ok being moved and it was a manager who moved my appointment. Showing that management has no regard for their customers. The service I was receiving wasn’t just a simple eyebrow wax or a lip wax it was in a sensitive area, and the fact that I was moved in order to accommodate another client who booked AFTER me shows how much that manager cares about their customers, customers preferences, and how they handle scheduling. The only saving grace was the woman at the front desk Drew who handled everything very professionally and was very kind and apologetic about the whole situation and the waxer who i ended up seeing (because the waxer I normally see wasn’t available until after my vacation) Jariyah ( sorry if I spelled her name incorrectly) who was very kind and did a great job as well. Management needs to do better! Moving clients without their consent especially when handling such a delicate area is not ok ever! The only reason why I would go back is because the waxers and front desk are great at what they do!

2022-08-08I really tried to give this location a chance but after several frustrating trips here I am Never going back. They are way too unprofessional. Can never keep a waxer. Will cancel your appointment without your permission and change your waxer without your permission so when you show up you’re getting undressed in front of someone totally different than the waxer you’re used to. Do better.
