If I could give 0 I would! I would never step foot into this place again! I’ve never experienced customer service to the point I felt as if I wanted to cry. Long story short I’ve been craving pasta, I didn’t feel like driving too far. This place came up and it had really good reviews, so why not give it a chance. When I first walked in an elderly gentleman asked me was I by myself that’s it and all fine. He didn’t seem to personable at all smh 1st red flag. As I was sitting there I watch a party of 6 walk in (all white) and a party of 3 (again all white and elderly). I notice his mannerisms with these two tables were completely different, he explained to them the special of the day, which I never received. Maybe if I would have gotten that same presentation maybe I would have ordered lamb. It wasn’t on the menu. When I sat down all I got was a menu and bread. When it came time to order I showed him a picture and he said yes we can do that, the pasta I received had tomato sauce and not creamy sauce on it as in the picture. I asked another server who happened to be a young white girl who was customer service friendly is it possible I can get the creamy sauce she said one second let me ask, I even said if it’s a issue don’t worry about it. Do you know the chef, an Italian older guy came out the kitchen and started yelling at me about the order telling me how it’s not on the menu and it’s extra for sauce and something about free I completely blocked everything out at that point and asked for a box because clearly I am not wanted in this establishment. Long story short I had to pull the work card which I never ever do and show them this page and let them know I blog for food and now they want to talk to me with sense. Refused to give me the check, took complete ownership of the meal being messed up. After offering me free food I still wanted the check because I have money I can pay my money look just like the other customers in here that I don’t identify with. @fiorino_philly the food you all gave me for free I found a homeless woman who is enjoying it even more! It’s very upsetting that my experience couldn’t compare to the other google reviews!
Beautiful experience with the head chef playing every roll in the restaurant. Such a fantastic experience. Good seafood and pasta dishes with Al dente prep. Fresh tomats on the caprese, fresh roasted veggies in the special. Fresh house bread; incredible. Service incredible and done by the whole team. All the accoutrements to 4 different kinds of beverages that we brought. Best cannoli in town.
Absolutely couldn’t wait to eat here with my daughter and enjoy the vibe until I had an unfortunate experience. When we got in we didn’t even get an hello and as we sat down we didn’t get any service for about first 15 minutes. I politely asked if we could get just get some water and bread. When I asked the server they seemed disturbed and gave us the bread and water another 15 minutes later. So we sat at a table for 30 minutes with no service.. great… we order our food and I order what catches my eyes and tastebuds the most and that was the spaghetti scoglio and my daughter orders the egg-plant rollantini. We got our food and my daughter plate doesn’t have cheese nor tomato sauce. I’m pretty sure that’s one of the main ingredients in this entree.. when acknowledge this to our server. I guess they informed the chef and he came out and literally turned red and yelled at my daughter in front of me. He was trying to explain to us that we had to pay extra for cheese and sauce and they made absolutely no sense at all. I stand 6ft 3in and I didn’t yell back bc I don’t want to cause a scene. I’m just paid the bill and left. And I’m not gonna lie it’s bothering to this day still that I let that chef come out there and yell at my daughter the way he did with so much aggression. I hope no other fathers have to go thru this when eating here. Don’t wish nothing bad on this business just be a little more nice and have manners. Thanks
Stop telling people who are calling you out on being a racist establishment, racist! we all saw the story. we read about how you all tried to backtrack once you found out that woman deals with food reviews for a living. you are FAILING at covering your behind with this. that woman has no reason to lie, especially when other people have come forward about having similar experiences.perhaps you guys didn’t know that philadelphia is a very diverse multicultural city, who is welcoming to all walks of life. if you cannot comply, leave. we do not want you or your mediocre- not even homemade “italian” food (yes, i’ve eaten here before and had stomach problems for two days after. never again, but that’s another story)if you cannot be a proper restaurant, go find you an all white neighborhood to service. may someone call the health department and a group of 7 all dine and dash only the most expensive things on the menu.better yet, maybe i should come by personally and have a chat with you all. see how racist you can be face to face with a 6’5 bodybuilder staring you down. i freaking dare you, losers.
This is one of those reviews that I am unsure whether I really want to write it....not because there would be anything bad, but because the place is really busy and its tough to get a reservation. But, after the meal, its really hard to not share how delicious it was. The pesto rossa they serve with bread is exceptional. The ravioli was a special for the night, homemade, and amazing. It was veal inside with a cream sauce, garlic and peas. Main course was pan seared scallops with a cream sauce (rosemary), balsamic drizzle and olive oil and garlic spinach. Also, I tried the calamari salad, also ridiculously good with a lemon dressing and grilled flavors and textures that only come with a perfect sear.Dessert was their homemade panna Cotta with fresh fruit and a raspberry sauce. Their espresso, also delicious.
Perfectly lovely. The best food in Bologna- in the United States! Food, service, and atmosphere brought me back to my time in southern Italy. The quality of all of the food, from simple sautéed spinach to tortelloni, was fabulous. There was certainly a healthy din of noise, but it was nothing that we couldnt talk over and Im generally very sensitive to noise in restaurants.Eat here and be treated like family.
Just like a little neighborhood place in Bologna. Relaxed atmosphere with a serious kitchen. No pretension. Loved the tuna carpaccio. Bronzino special was also well executed. The Emilia-Romagna style is a refreshing change up from the South Philly Southern Italian fare. Well be back.
Best takeout chicken parm meal I have had in a long time. Generous portion and delicious. The mini cannoli was a nice touch. Restaurants these days seem to be skimping on their portions but not at Fiorino. Wonderful value and wonder local business. Happy to have Fiorino as a neighbor.
This place was amazing. Im still dreaming about the food there. And the service was top notch!!! I went in 40 weeks pregnant and very moody on what I wanted to eat. They were sweet and accommodating and even asked us to come back!!! And they have awesome gluten free pasta!!!
We arrived unannounced - our first time and didnt know reservations were needed - but since theyd just opened for the day, we were first and seated immediately. Service even before most the staff came in was impeccable. As great as the service was, the food was INCREDIBLE! I have the Ravioli, my wife had the European Bass. As our custom over the last 40 years, we tried a piece of each others meals. I hate seafood unless freshly (caught within two hours of serving) and the Bass was FANTASTIC! And my meal, the meat ravioli was perfect! Our desserts only improved on the perfection. With the ambiance to complement everything (we ate inside since the outside tables werent yet opened), we had the best dining experience in years.Fiorinos needs to be declared an embassy on foreign soil, because it is truly a piece of Italy.
Giving very much racist vibes ! You have time to reply to comments but not enough to address the racial unwelcoming issue in your restaurant! You are so certain these people of color “didn’t visit your restaurant” , address the one black lady who did and was treated poorly! The audacity ! I hope nobody continues to eat here! You might keep your long time racist customer tho so 👍P.sRot like the food that fell underneath your stove 😘
If you haven’t tried it yet, it should be on your list. This place is delicious, homemade and totally authentic. The cheesecake alone is the number one reason to visit. It’s a cute small restaurant, so you may want to make reservations, it’s BYOB, and they always delight us with delicious appetizers just to try. We love this place soooo much.
The food was fantastic.... I mean scrumptious. I will visit again. Great customer service. Our waiter was very friendly and definitely sent off good vibes & good energy. I cant say enough about our experience but that I wish I ordered more to take home.... By the way the mussels were soooo good.
We made reservations too late but the Italian gentleman made room for us at 4:30 which we really appreciated..My family, being from Calabria (southern Italy), I was used to that cuisine, but the Northern ( Naples) cuisine that he served was the best! From the breads to the sauces and salads and the whitefish and fresh vegetables, everything was prepared to perfection..The different tastes were very unique!.Did I mention the best cheesecake and tiramisu weve ever tasted..My next visit to Philly will definitely include a return visit to this wonderful Italian restaurant.
Hidden gem. Authentic delicious and filling , it’s like eating at Nonna’s house. One of my favorite restaurants with amazing food, great service for a reasonable price. Had a veal dish with spinach and garlic side. Amazing. With the lemoncello cake, which was not too sweet or overpowering. Perfectly light and delightful lemon cloud cake was an exceptional end to a tasty and filling meal. Must have reservation.
We ordered take out for the first time this evening and let me just say we are happy campers at the moment. The food is super light, fresh and delicious! We didn’t even know about all the complimentary sauces, breads & cannolis! Definitely found our new Italian spot for take out during this pandemic! Yummy!
This place was the worse restaurant I have eaten in since I moved to Philly 4 years ago. EVERYTHING was bad.The service was rinky dink. They forgot bread and our wine glasses. If fact the only thing about the meal that was good was the wine that we brought. The veal was like shoe leather. I had trouble cutting it. The lemon gelato was so frozen we couldn’t even eat it. The presentation was awful. I came here because I had heard good things. DON’t GO! Very expensive to boot. My veal cost $26! Just disgraceful
Best kept secret in Philadelphia. Some of the best, authentic Italian food. We’ve been to this restaurant over 50 times and have never had anything but an excellent meal. From the pork chops to their homemade pasta, the food is outstanding. My personal favorites are the Veal Marsala and Branzino. Their spaghetti pomodoro reminds me of Italy.
When my family messed up our takeout order, Fiorino was happy to fix it and made sure that our family dinner continued as planned! It was our mistake, but they were really helpful and kind. Weve been going there consistently since we moved to the area in 2016. The food is always delicious! Its a one of kind place.
If Google would let me give Fiorinos 7 stars I would! The food is phenomenal. Tonight we had the beef ravioli with mushrooms and peas in cream sauce special. It was a little bit of ambrosia on earth (yes I know that is Greek but is Fiorinos definitely the food of the gods). I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
My daughter had taken me there last night... great outdoor dining , wonderful gentleman that waited on us professional and friendly . The appetizer to meal , dessert was delicious and with great taste. Yes we had byob really top the evening off well . Definitely will recommend and we will be back soon . Thanks for such pleasant evening of dining outdoors.
Absolutely incredible food. The older gentleman with the Italian accent is a little but gruff, but he provided great service. The place is BYOB but we were able to buy a bottle of red wine from the restaurant for $15.Overall a really nice experience. Highly recommend.
This restaurant is lovely! My partner and I come here every year for our anniversary. The atmosphere is great, and everyone is very friendly. The food is excellent! My partner has a very severe dairy allergy and they were more than happy to accommodate him: they even brought him into the kitchen to speak with the chef in person!
Truly one of the best hidden gems of the area. Bring a bottle of wine, enjoy an incredible fresh meal in what feels like a quaint home. Very reasonably priced, with dinner for two costing under $75 with full 3-4 courses. Only thing is I don’t see the place being terribly accommodating to allergies, vegan or gluten free diets, so if you need these accommodations probably look elsewhere. Still, 10/10 little place.
This place is a local gem!! Amazing food, even better service! Best little authentic Italian restaurant in town! Anyone that has anything less than 5 stars to say about this place is probably just miserable all the time to be honest! Bring your own wine, enjoy the bread, share the arugula salad and savor any of the pastas! Love Fiorino!
My husband and I have been dining at Fiorino’s since we moved to East Falls in 2012. We have NEVER had a bad meal. We’ve never had to send anything back. We bring our family and friends, and they always love it! It’s so good and it’s so special that I almost hate to talk about it or share it because I don’t want it to be overrun.
For authentic Italian (and BYOB!), this place is great. Theyve also got homemade gluten-free pasta, and unlike many Italian places are very helpful with working around allergies and special requests. All this plus a comfortable atmosphere make this a great dining experience!
I took my wife here for our anniversary and it was amazing! The food is absolutely to die for, real authentic Italian food that you can tell is prepared fresh. The cheesecake is fantastic as well. It is BYOB, which I appreciated because at an upscale place like this if you wanted a glass of wine, it would probably cost more than the whole bottle that I was able to bring. Prices are moderate for the amount and quality of the food there, but you should expect to spend at least $50 for a dinner for two. I totally recommend Fiorino and am looking forward to being able to go back.
The menu is always interesting. From the shared first course of ravioli to the dessert with coffee and biscotti, every dish was a pleasure. Ive been eating here for five years now and have always wanted to keep coming back. Its about 40 miles to get here, but its worth the trip.
All I can say is wow. This place was a hidden gem in Philadelphia. Me and my husband had an amazing time, it was a small place but the atmosphere was amazing. Its BYOB so we brought wine and they set it all up. The food was so fresh and can tell was made to order. Everything was just perfect I got the spaghetti and clams. So MANY clams. You know some places are cheap with the clams LOL and my husband had the daily special which was a white fish, I stole a bit off his plate, was amazing. YOU HAVE TO GO TO THIS PLACE, DO NOT GO WITHOUT RESERVATION. the only thing I didnt like and its just a preference , there was no music playing, but then again, its a small space so maybe they thought it would get too loud. Its such a little cute romantic and cozy place, definitely a great experience and the prices were not expensive for the quality. If youre thinking about going great for anniversaries or for double dates. :)
We visited a few months ago after reading all the positive reviews online. There is a lot to love about this place. The dining area and general ambiance felt comfortable. Almost like we were in another families dining room. The food was outstanding. I had a ravioli that had a wonderful taste and texture. Prices were to be expected too. Service was also very good.
So amazing. Came here 2 weeks ago and had a delicious meal. The ambiance is charming and it only seats about 30+ people....be sure to make reservations! I had a bronzino cooked to perfection and the tuna carpacio was a light, refreshing starter. Great customer service from this staff. My husband and I were fortunate enough to travel to Italy several years ago and we both agreed - this is the best Italian weve had since that trip.
Tiny restaurant with good service. A cut above your typical red sauce italian place, the menu seems a bit more authentic italian. Everything is always good and seems very fresh. The pasta is high quality. I wish I could give it 3.75 stars because the prices are on the higher side (Center City prices) and portions arent huge. Nevertheless, food and service here are always good.
We have had a really nice experience each time we have come here! Exactly what youre looking for when in the mood for a nice, Italian, packed restaurant! The service we receive is always very friendly and genuine, they never make us feel uncomfortable or uppity! So yummy and a nice date night or family treat.
Fiorino is a very small Italian restaurant in East Falls. There’s probably only about 10 tables so making a reservation is a good idea. The interior is cozy but it was obvious that the restaurant used to be a very small apartment. If you picture a living or dining room in a typical East Falls/Rox/Mana apartment, that’s what this place looks like. The tables were too close together so it’s not very intimate. The waiter wasn’t the most enthusiastic but the service wasn’t bad overall. The appetizers were the best part. The Bruschetta was delicious and tasted really fresh. I had the ravioli as an entree and that was disappointing. It tasted good but nothing special. The portions were also too small for the price.Unless you’re in East Falls, I’d say skip this one. There’s other great Italian BYO’s in the area.
Intimate, relaxed dining experience with comfortable E Falls neighborhood feel. Everything we ordered was delicious and served with care and a smile. Mussels and caprese were notable appetizers. Salads and soups were crowd pleasers. Bronzino dish was smaller entree but mouthwatering. Seafood pasta dish was filling and delicious. Great little Italian BYOB. Easy to imagine youre dining in Italy. . .without the airfare! We were celebrating a birthday with our kids ages 9 and 14. Everyone had a good time!
Food was good if you like authentic Italian. Owner is very nice but the wait staffs service was spotty. Didnt get water for 10 minutes or so. The waiter really didnt want to talk to my girlfriend. He asked me for her order and checked up on me. One awkward moment he asked if I was done with my appetizer to collect my plate. I said yes, thank you and he took my girlfriends plate while she was still eating it. She managed to steal a little piece of bread off it. We did find it very funny though and had a good laugh. Dinner was fine. Good sized portions. The restaurant is snug. I think the appeal is to go with your family and join the other families and be a loud, lively Italian family, and the owner ensures that. But for a romantic night out, just you and your lady, I wouldnt recommend this restaurant. I had worse so an average 3 star is ok. If it wasnt for the quality of the food and the understanding of what kind of diners this appeals to this would be a much worse review.
Best Italian restaurant by far in Philly. I ordered a tortellini special and brought my own wine since they dont charge a Cork fee. They bring out a few starters like bread and such which are great. For dessert I recommend the tiramisu and lemon sorbet thats served in an actual lemon. The tables are quite cramped up but would definitely recommend coming here as a couple, friends, or family.
This place is wonderful. The staff is thorough and kind, and the food is simply amazing. Even if you just order ravioli, the sauce is amazing, the pockets of cheese are the freshest youll ever have. Every sauce I tried was beautiful. They had fresh bread and a sundried tomato spread before food came out, and it was the bedt Ive ever had. Clearly fresh, and made by them, not bought from a jar. There wasnt the excessive saltiness from jars, and the waiter told us everything in it.
My family and I came here when visiting my brother. This extremely small restaurant is amazing! And when I say small, it’s extremely small, close to the size of my bedroom back home. But don’t let the size cloud your judgement. The food was so good. I had the tagliatelle which was amazing. Very simple and good. The noodles were super soft and tender; I would assume they make them in-house. My brother has the Veal which was also very good. My mom had the spaghetti scoglio and it was, in my opinion, delicious. Although my mom said it was a little too salty and oily for her. And finally, I had the tiramisu for dessert, which was the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. Overall, it was great. If you’re in/visiting Philly, you should definitely come check this place out. But, be warned, the only parking is on the road, which means you’ll have parallel park.
This establishment looks like it is just someones house. It is a small place, but the food packs a punch! Definitely try to call ahead for a reservation as there are just a couple tables inside and outside when the weather is nice. You can definitely tell this place is a nice mom-and-pop restaurant by the service and simplicity. I had a great time here and the food was awesome.I started with the Bresaola appetizer, which is dry cured beef and that was yummy. They also brought out some complementary Brushetta to start. I was feeling pasta, so I decided to get the Tagiatelle with Bolognese. This pasta was soooo so delicious! It had the right flavor and the pasta was cooked al dente to my liking. I also got a side of spaghetti with garlic & oil, which while this was simple, it was good as well. For dessert, I heard the table next to me get one of the dessert specials, the Limoncello Cake, and wow, I was glad I got it because this was awesome. The texture and flavor were on point and I could just keep eating this cake again and again. It was very light and had a special place in my stomach!I hope to come back here again.
This IS a real Italian restaurant! My wife and I have been to Italy and as you sit in Fiorino you have the strong sense that you are sitting in a small Cafe in Tuscany. There were three of us for lunch and all of our meals were terrific. Rolled eggplant with ricotta and theyre homemade sauce was simply to die for. Go! If you like authentic Italian you will love this place.
I hesitate to even review, as this place is such a hidden gem. Literally the best Italian food in Philly, and nobody even knows its here. Everything is homemade from amazing recipes. Dont try to get a table without calling ahead... there probably wont be one. Overall, cozy and romantic. Some of the best food in Philly.
Usually gets 4 stars from me. Last night was only okay. Great prices; wonderful service and staff. Noise level energetic. Portions were small which may be how they are controlling prices. Mussels a little fishy. Eggplant rollatini and bronzino outstanding. Salmon slightly overcooked. Outstanding tiramisu. Will definitely go back because the place is excellent normally.
Make a reservation (important for this very small place) and GO! Consistently delicious. Love the gorgonzola salad, its huge and delicious. Love the tagliatelle bolognese, spagetti scoglio!! And dessert!!! Chocolate mousse, tiramisu....mama mia.....all soooooo good. Its bring your own, and Tom, the head waiter is so much fun. Try it, youll like it!
Fiorino is an authentic Italian restaurant in East Falls. The language spoken was Italian and English. I was there with a small wedding party. We had dinner there with the recommendation from The Philadelphia Wedding Chapel,3502 Scotts Lane,Sherman Mills, Building #3, Philadelphia, PA 19129.The restaurant was small and intimate. The father and son seated and waited on us. They were very pleasant and respectful. The bruschetta onsliced Italian bread was a hit with us all. The food was reasonably priced. Once ordered it wasnt long before we had our meals. It was very good. Most of us had seafood. It was most delicious! My only complaint is that there could have been more vegetables with the entree. I would recommend it to one and all.
Wonderful! Homemade Italian bread with dipping sauce and bruschetta brought to the table before we ordered. Special was homemade ricotta and spinach ravioli in a light chunky tomato sauce with homemade tiramisu for dessert. Great little place tucked into a narrow little side street in a quaint old neighborhood. Id go back in a heartbeat!
My wife myself and another couple dined at Fiorino Saturday evening 6.7.15. I ordered the chicken and it had the consistency of rubber. I sent it back, and at the suggestion of the waiter tried the veal which was served with an incredibly bitter lemon flavor. What a disappointment. There was no apology or explanation for the bad entrées, and we were charged full price. All in all, a terrible experience.
The several times Ive been there, my experience was beyond expectations. Ive brought several people there and they all loved it. The only critique from someone was that they could serve a bit more pasta, as their serving size is a tad small. One of my favorite places to eat.
Food was very good but again a cramped situation for my birthday in November that everyone had to know about. Only one server for entire floor. Older crowd. Owner real southern immigrant Italian. Would go back but when they first open. When its cold outside the door opening is a real problem. Very restricted residential parking.
Our first visit to Fiorono. It was exceptional. It was busy and the service reflected that, but we were attended to. All of the food was delicious. The bread came out with a relish made of what I believe was cooked down sun-dried tomatoes and oil. It was a really nice way start to the meal. We had the tuna carpaccio, tasty tuna with capers and lemon. Also the braciole which is not the cooked rolled beef and stuffing Im used to but rounds of dried beef with arugula, lemon, and parmesan. The beef was great, chewy in a good way, not too salty. The spaghetti scoglio was very good. The sauce was simple and bright. All of the seafood was cooked very well. Even the calamari which is so often tough was very tender. The beef ravioli special was great. Thin homemade dough, insanely tender beef inside with a cream sauce and mushrooms. We had the pan cota and the chocolate mouse for desert and both were very nice. We will definitely be back.
This is the best Italian food I have ever had in the US. Their caprese is to die for. I dont know where they get their tomatos but theyre the best things I have ever tasted. Whenever I visit Philly, its the number one place I want to go to eat. I would recommend making a reservation on the weekends, its a tiny place and gets filled up pretty quickly. I would never miss a chance to eat here.
I have come to Philadelphia every year for a week and try to eat as much of the delicious food as I can. I found Fiorino via Google not wanting to eat at the same Italian restaurants Ive been to. It was a fantastic find. Its in the East Falls neighborhood in a corner storefront. Blink and you might miss it. If you drink wine, bring your own as they dont serve it here. I had the gorgonzola salad, the scallops with a side of spaghetti mixed with oil and garlic, and for dessert shared cheesecake and Bomba. My favorite Philly Italian meal by far. Dont miss this gem.
Authentic Italian food, possibly the best Ive Ever had. Starting w/brueshetta & then fresh bread w/Sun dried tomato paste. Appetizers were mouth watering & delisioso entrees, followed by sublime deserts, we had the pana cata. Its BYOB so U wont get rocked by the liquor bill. All reasonably priced.Manga! The only problem could be the parking but its worth the walk & Ull need it after the fabulous meal!
A hidden gem in East Falls, I lived here for two years and didnt realize it existed until someone told me about it. Small, very much a mom and pop operation with good quality food and a focus on ambiance. It isnt set up to get you in and out quickly and that is not their goal. If you want to enjoy a special night out, make a reservation and get a bottle of wine to bring. They dont charge a cork fee either.
Absolutely the best and most authentic Italian cuisine Ive had in the US. Im gluten-free and theyve always served me great food (they have gluten free pasta there when you ask for it) and every single person whom we brought has raved about their meal. This place is a must if you live in the Philadelphia area!
Loved the Ambiance, the older structure East Falls is known for. The Service was good.Maybe my experience, was alittle different. It was for a birthday party, that was being held for 17 people there. The Calamari, was a little too chewy. The Seabass was delightful the crab meat on the top was tasteless, than again it is February. The potatoes ( least, I thought they were Sliced potatoes ) were awful, very grainy lacked any taste. The Mussels in gravy / bread Very Good.I would definitely go back. ...just stay away from those potatoes. lol> All in all, lovely brunch, and lovey experience. Best place for a delightful birthday. Kudos to Rosemarie ♡
A little gem nestled in East Falls. Everything is authentic from the greeting to presentation and taste. The perfect place for a date night or to catch up with family and friends. If their specials include Lamb lollipops and limoncello layer cake, you’re in for a treat!
How have I never been to Fiorinos before. Excellent food. Great specials. Every dish was perfectly prepared. Reasonable prices, great service. Small dining room, but not the cacophony one experiences in many restaurants today. Being a neighborhood restaurant, parking is a bit tight, but certainly worth the effort. Its BYOB. Andare, mangiare, godere.
Run by an amazing old Italian man who has transformed an old corner row home into an Italian food lovers dream. Limited seated- MUST GET RESERVATION, and completely worth it. It is hard to find authentic Italian in many areas, so this is a diamond in the rough. You need to go here!
The place is super tiny and there’s no place to even stand. But the worse part is that the owner saw us and even though there were two tables empty he told us he can’t seat us. Asked why, and he said Iam so booked for today and can’t seat people without reservations. I asked him how much time would it take cz I can wait and he’s like Iam sorry (patting on my arm) we can’t seat you, we have all full.I mean seriously??

2021-05-16Fantastically delicious food and excellent service. My water glass never went below half filled and they kept the bread coming! Needed to soak up every last bit of the meal. Wasnt over filled though, everything was perfectly portioned and super fresh. Their outside seating is expanded to across the street and theres an awning in case it rains. Very nice experience.

2021-07-19This is by far the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to in Philadelphia. The service is impeccable, the food exquisite, and the atmosphere lively and welcoming. We can’t wait to come back!

2022-03-08One of my favorite restaurants for a date night. Great crowd pleasing pastas and the complimentary sun dried tomato pesto is amazing. The specials never change but they’re delicious. Very old school Italian vibe

2020-12-11Highly recommend! We love this place and continue to frequent the restaurant via take out. The complimentary mini cannoli and appetizers (tomato based dipping sauce & bruschetta). Once we can eat out in person, we will definitely eat here... the hospitality is amazing and the food is even better if that is possible. We even had our small wedding reception here and it was a highlight of the weekend. Our family still talks about how delish the food was! 😍

2022-06-03This restaurant has the best Italian food I have ever eaten! Its a family favorite! My daughter loves the tagliatelle in particular, but everything here is quality food.
