I recently had a horrible experience here, luckily I was smart enough to not let them take thousands of my dollars unnecessarily.Last year I went to this location when I had a flat tire. They ended up replacing 3 tires at that time (they were worn and I believed this). They had mentioned to me that I needed brakes + rotors, too and quoted over $1,000. I opted for a second opinion elsewhere and was told I only needed brakes, not rotors and they were replaced for much cheaper. I didnt think much of this.I have since been back a few times for routine oil changes and state inspections. Mind you, the rotors have NEVER been brought up again as an issue even though they were crucial Summer 2020. I was here in July for an oil change. I was here 2 weeks ago for state inspection. I was quoted about $2,800 for work that needed done - including a NEW OIL CHANGE (Was changed by them less than 1,000 miles prior). NEW TIRES (replaced last summer), and other things such as power steering, belts, struts. Mind you, these same rotors that were crucial over a year ago still unmentioned. I had them do the warranted tires + alignment ($270) and went back to a second mechanic for second opinion. The second mechanic agreed with 1 small piece of their recommendation but he said it was not affecting my driving or safety and he would wait to replace if this were his own car. My state inspection was passed here.Thank god I went elsewhere instead of being scammed for products I do not need. I would LOVE to reimbursed for the inspection I was charged for that was also extremely high in price (70$+) considering it was a huge waste of time. I liked going here for oil changes but unfortunately no longer feel I can trust them.
Please Stay Away! Please read before going to this place.Two months ago I went to get my front passenger tire fixed due to a bad valve. The tires were replaced not so long ago so the tires had warranty. Surprisingly, they found a nail in the tire said that was not possible to be repaired. They charged 100+ for a brand new one and for labor cost. Two weeks ago I got a flat tire again and checked the valve stem and it was still broken. Today I went to the shop and did not mentioned that I had a broken valve and checked the tire beforehand for any damage. Two hours later they called me back saying that the tire had a nail near the edge (same exact problem from the previous visit) and that the brand new tire had to be replaced. I went to the shop and as I moved the valve stem it was still broken and leaking air. The mechanic staff acted nervous and surprised when I told them that it was a shame that they did not find this in the first place and that they were doing a scam.Firestone, please be careful with this shop because if this continues, you are going to lose business in the future.
This has been THE WORST experience Ive ever had with an auto shop. Took my car on Thursday at 1pm for a diagnostic because my ABS light was on. They called with a list of things the car needed I declined all services (I have a feeling I need a 2nd opinion and could get it cheaper somewhere else) except the speed sensor which would fix my ABS light. They said if Im just fixing the speed sensor Id have it by the end of the day at 7pm. I called at 6:30pm they said its not done. The following day Friday, I had to take Ubers to work because if this inconvenience. I called at noon, they said they would call in an hour to let me know the status. An hour later no call. I called them at 3pm they said the manager who was handling my car has left for the day so maybe the next day Saturday!!! They couldnt even call me to tell me this, if I hadnt called 2 hours after they said they would call me they would close shop without giving me the status of my car. Its now Saturday at 2pm, they havent called to give a status on my car and I called but no one is picking up!!! My car has been there since Thursday to Saturday and no one has communicated to let me know what is happening. This is ridiculous!!! They finally pick up after calling several times and they havent fixed it and that theyre still figuring it out and it will take till Monday and if I cant wait till Monday I should come get it to take to the dealership. Now Im questioning if they know what theyre doing and even if theyre being honest, this business needs to learn how to communicate with customers. I could have used this information earlier to actually take my car to a shop where they can fix it. If you have a busy schedule like myself and you use your car a lot! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I do Uber & Lyft on the side and Ive lost 2 days worth of income.
I ordered a set of tires from simpletire.com, had them delivered to Firestone for mounting, balancing and whatever they do. I noticed just the other day that they did not replace the valve stems. According to the contract in the paperwork that I have new valve stems were supposed to be included. Old valve stems and no valve caps. Im going to pull my contract out today and give them a call concerning it.SMH.
Had My Vehicle Nissan Rogue Towed To This Location Saturday Afternoon And Was Told That The Crank Sensor Was Bad Told They Would Have The Part Monday Morning. Told Monday Evening They Ordered The Wrong Part It Would Be There Tuesday Morning. Called Again Part Would Not Be There Until 6:00 Pm. The Car Would Be Ready By 7: 00 To 9 00Am Heard Nothing Told The Tech Put The Part In And The Car Would Not Start Told By The Manager That He Couldnt make A Technician Do More Than His Skill Set And Master Mechanic Wouldnt Be There Until Next Week OfferMe A Rental Or Paid For The Car To Be Towed Or Go To Nissan Dealership Great Service And Expertise Offered Nothing After My Car Would Be Fixed On Monday
I ordered a tire a day prior and got appointment, confirmed my appointment before going there. When I arrived on my appointment time, I was told even without being sorry to come back the next day. I politely tried to explain I have a busy schedule, I tried to explain I work in a busy hospital and hoping to fix my car today however the front desk person was not even ready to listen to me. I did everything to make sure a single tire changed; I was not asking favor and complaining here. It’s the most horrible experience. This can be a single incident and may not reflect the general working culture there but I wish it not to happen to anyone.
Lamar was helpful in explaining the differences between tires and helped me out when my car needed extra materials. By far, Lamar had the best customer service Ive ever experienced at a Firestone. The prices were fair too. They were competitive with Mavis and another local shop, but this Firestone was the only location with the tires my car needed. I didnt even have an appointment. So their services were much appreciated.
They were supposed to do alignment and inspection they took a 2 hours then came in and told me my car mysteriously started smoking and no headlights or dash lights work now after they were perfectly fine than he showed me camera footage and he waited 45 minutes to even come tell me what had happened and filed a claim and the inspector still hasn’t come to see car when as they told me. Highly upset and dissatisfied and showed no concern the employee Ray Ford was his name and then my car read abs brake lights stayed on on car read lighting system malfunction as well as brake system
I have been getting my vehicles maintenanced here for about 20 years now, and I have always received the best service. The staff is always professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They take their time to explain the issues that they find with your vehicle and offer solutions on how to best address them. I reccomend this location to everyone.
Despite receiving two confirmation emails from them, I arrived early only to be told they had no space for me. Apparently, they had called the wrong number because I had entered the wrong phone number, which is on me. But why would they send me a confirmation email after the time they said they called? And why would they also not let me know via email? Very poor communication.Bottom line is dont trust the reservation system on the website and certainly not their emails, only rely upon their phone system.
This was the worst service I’ve ever had with an auto repair shop! They do not care about customer service at all. I made an appointment to accommodate, what I assumed correctly, would be a very busy service center, and in the end they ignored that. They lied about not having my key to push the time frame of servicing my vehicle. They also wanted to replace multiple unnecessary parts, in an effort to charge me more money, in addition to the main purpose of my visit. I had to call them first all three days they had my vehicle after they promised they would call me with updates, but never did. I basically felt like I had to become an annoying costumer just to inquire about my own vehicle. They did not listen to me or care about the length of time they had my car. Once I left I asked for a corporate office number that I can contact to speak about the issues I experienced and the man processing my transaction said; “we don’t really have a Corp. office.” I had to look it up my self online and file the complaint. I am NEVER going back to this auto shop! I suggest you try finding a different provider with more integrity and a smaller client pool.
I destroyed one of my tires on a Saturday. I called this Firestone. They had my tires in stock. Installation took less than two hours. They were friendly and helpful. What more can you ask for? I have historically had good luck with Firestone tires and like their road hazard warranty. The only way this could’ve been better is if I hadn’t needed new tires in the first place. ;-)
In the first weeks of january I went to firestone ready to spend money on new tires. I did not recieve new tires. I recieved a coolant flush that I did not ask for and paid money for a car i would have had to take elsewhere the next day not only for new tires but a slew of other issues that just so happen to have popped up when i picked my car up. Dont trust these people with your car in 2021.
Was happy that looked at tires to why losing air. They did a front alignment on the car. Double check on the full cost. Was told it would be 93.00 front alignment. Plus they replace my windshield wipers as I requested. I figured the bill would come to roughly $160 and it was over $230. Do yourself a favor. Double check and ask about cost of the job, cost of labor, and taxes. No surprises what the cost will be. Live and learn. I will say they took care of my car the same day I brought it in.
My car was past due on inspection and I forgot to renew my registration. Lamar called me to inform me and was willing to wait while I took care of it. He was extremely professional and made himself available even when I called back several times with questions.Thanks Lamar!
Took a car here a couple months ago for an oil change. Dropped it off and was told it would be ready in 2 hours, came back 2.5 hours later and the car hadnt been moved. Was told that it would be done in the next half-hour. I told them nevermind, just return my car and Id get it done elsewhere. The desk guy goes back into the shop and talks to people while staring through the glass at me, comes back 10 minutes later and says they had pulled it in and had already drained the oil and had to finish. I know my car wasnt in the bay when he went back to talk to them and that they pulled it in rather than honor my request for my keys. I would never go to this place again.
I have been going to Firestone on City Ave for inspections as well as auto care tires etc for the last 6 years or more. However, this past Saturday after making appointment for usual yearly inspection there. I was highly disappointed in the service. After being told it would be a 4hour wait I decided to go home and return when my vehicle for general inspection was complete. I received a phone call stating there were repairs of 2,000 and would not be able to receive inpection stickers. Although I would still have to pay for complete inspection.Then was told once I got all repairs (2,000) Did I mention were in a pandemic. I could come back to get sticker. I would get a phone call back once they put my car back together. After arriving and paying for inspection was given paper work stating 3,000 worth of work was now needed. Dont believe I will be going back there for any type of repairs after doing business there for many years. Very dissatisfied. Beware
This has been the worse experience Ive had with a mechanic. As I sat here all day Ive watched them politely charge up little old ladies as they claimed to find problems that mysteriously manifested minutes after bringing their cars in. Someone warned me about this location but I thought he was just angry after his experience. Now as i sit here angry after mine I understand totally. This feeling I have after leaving Firestone can only be compared to what a 10yr old boy scout felt after going camping with his scout leader on the 80s.
Not only did I pay 500+ dollars for a repair but the repair was done wrong. I got a wheel hub replacement and a alignment the alignment was done INCORRECTLY THE WHEEL WAS CROOKED AND THE CAR PULLED TO THE RIGHT WORSE THAN EVER. I brought it back to get fixed with the promise that it would get fixed ASAP. Never got called back regarding my call this is the second time I had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE at this locationUpdate this fixed the car but it took almost 2 days and I had to bring it back again after they said it was fixed again. Problem is solved.
I was told the services I needed would take four hours and almost to the minute, they were finished in four hours. It has been about a week since the services and all my concerns about the problems I was having has been satisfied.I have been going to firestone for years and in that time hey have been able to fix every car related problem I had with the exception of one time. They are not cheap but they get the job done usually the first time.
They do great work at affordable prices. Always an unrealistic wait. Brought my car in for a state inspection for a 7 am appointment . By 7:30, I was asking why my car hadnt been brought in the shop yet. A bit after 7:50, a shop employee came out to tell me their state inspection machine is down and that is why my car hadnt been brought in. They dont seem to understand why Im upset by lack of communication because theyre still in the 2 hour window.
I have been going to this location to have my different cars serviced or inspected for 10 years now. I am disappointed in the customer service. I was made to wait more than 30 minutes after inspection done for no reason. I asked why and there was no answer. Bottom line is I will never go back there again. I dont recommend for anyone who has reasonable expectations to go there.
Made an appointment to have my tire replaced, thinking that would ensure speedy service. I arrived 15 minutes prior to 10:00 a.m. appointment only to be told it would 2 to 3 hours before my vehicle would be serviced. Why give me a 10:00 am appointment only to be told I wont be seen till 2:00 PM. I will never use Firestone on City Ave again! Mavis right down the street took my car immediately and I was in and out in less then 30 minutes
They screwed up my car at Firestone in Queensbury NY. Had to take it to a Firestone in Philadelphia. To get the fix fixed again. They kept saying they would look at it. It took 5 days to fix. They then said there was something else wrong with it. A very expensive fix.Took it back to my mechanic. 1st rate Auto truck repair. Great business. They told me what Firestone, said was broken was completely false. They were trying to make money on something that wasnt broken. When Ken was running the place he was straight honest guy. When he said the car was going to get looked at, he meant it. He worked on our families car for years. When he left quality of care went way down. I will never will go there again.
I want the team here for working late on Sunday, Nov.24, to get everyone’s car done for Thanksgiving. Dawn squeezed my car in w/out an appointment, after I rolled in from out-of-town with a flat tire. Though I highly recommend you call ahead, service was reasonably quick and fairly priced. Who else is open on Sundays?
Always have had good service for the past 18 years I have taken my car[s] there. It is key to note the better times to go and be willing to drop off and then come back to pick up [oil change/inspection].If they are really busy they will tell you so that you can make plans.
I came here to get my air conditioner repaired. It was blowing hot air. I had previously had freon put in just the day before I took it here and it still in work. I informed firestone that it was done. I left my truck there for 3 hours for them to just tell me that I needed fero. And they charged me over 190 for that! However my air still did not work! I received my money back the next day thanks to the manager and thats the only reason why i even gave 2 stars
Dont waste your time booking an appointment. Online it tells you that if your appointment cant be made, theyll call or email you....LIES!!!! My wife went there today for oil change and wheel balance and was rudely told that oil change appointments were booked even though I the made appointment last night. My wife approached the counter lady with a smile and kindness as she does daily with everyone. Then she told my wife that if they can get it in today, that shell probably get her car back by 6pm. My wife went to jiffy lube up the road for oil change and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. While waiting at jiffy lube, she get email confirming appointment at firestone, WHAT A JOKE!!!
Been going here for years for tires and oil changes...their prices can be beat though, Im weaning this place offUPDATE: (11/6/19)I shouldve learned from my own advice and just stopped going right then and there. Long story short...maybe, I went in for Oil Change & New Tires, wasnt enough time, so I made an appointment. Showed up for my appt 30min early (I dont mind the wait). Everything going smooth, then suddenly they tell me my tires are not in stock there (when I was assured they were just days prior). The tires I need wont arrive for about 5 hours later in the day, major inconvenience when you happen to have a day off to get things done only to find out it cant be done. We select a new tire but the price is much higher..smfh. Heres the kicker, they convinced me to get some check up for $10...I was hesitant because it just wasnt necessary, but the more he talked I was like ok, why not (nice customer service can make you think they have genuine service). He comes back to tell me all these things that are wrong, and noises I should be hearing when driving (I dont hear shvt when driving and never have...not related to the car at least). I leave there and suddenly Im hearing a funny noise...naaaaah yo, nah. I was still willing to get the tires done but nah. BJs has better tire deals anyway. Now I got pursue legal action to get this remedied.My previous review was also based on the staff that was there years past, a lot of new faces this time around so I shouldve known!
I’ve been bringing my and my wife’s here for as long as I remember. The staff changed over the years and it’s no longer mom and pop type of a business but I always know that any time I bring my car here, I will not be ripped off and they will do their job. I think that bringing your vehicle here is the right choice for anyone in Bala area.
Online booking system for appointments is a terrible design. I would have appreciated a call to say I couldnt have that appointment rather than nothing until I come in since I never heard back (booked early in the morning for a late appointment for an oil change). Instead of being nice about it, the lady in the lobby was rude and insulting. Cant say anything regarding their work to be fair, but customer service is pretty bad. Gave 2 stars to give some potential credit to the mechanics, but I wouldnt return.
Every shop has accidents happen or bad days, but this place is unprofessional at best and deceptive at worst.To start, prepare to have your quoted price double or triple even for routine maintenance like an oil change. Never again will I pay over $100 for an oil change for my Prius which is basically a Toyota Corolla. They justify the increase in price by telling you some nonsense and reminding you that you signed a contract allowing them to jack up the price if necessary.On top of all this, they dont call to confirm that you have an appointment and they damaged the steering wheel in my car. When I reported the damage to the manager he said Im not doing anything about this and then told his coworker This is too much for me after I insisted that they report the damage to their insurance company.Next time, Ill be making the 45 minute drive to my independent mechanic in Elkins Park.
I wish I could give a lower rating. I went in to get my winter tires a while back and when they gave me back my other tires they gave me one that was NOT MINE. When I came back to get my winter tires changed to my other tires they charged me for a brand new tire. They also over charged me for other services an oil change, repairing my horn which was 60 alone a thing to clean the gas piping -or so they told me- and had me pay about 520. I was not taken seriously while I was here in either one of those times I went there. I would not recomment coming here. And if you do make sure you ask what youre being charged for As well as double checking your receipt.
Deal going on for cost of state/emissions inspection for both my cars. Paid about 50.00 per car. Long waits even with appt scheduled, not enough chairs, and they quoted me like 250 for 1 new tire in order to pass inspection stating it was the only tire they had in stock. I went elsewhere for the tire and brought the car back within 2 wks in order to get my sticker without having to repay. As is customary. Overall would return.
Service is trash. Took my car in at 11:00am for an oil change and I came in to see if my car was ready at 4:00pm and the car was still where I left it when I dropped it off. They told me two hours and five hours later the car still wasnt done. If your time valuable don’t go here. Never going back.
Picked up what felt like a bolt in my tire, took it to Firestone to get a plug, they called me and said the hole was too big to plug and I needed a new tire. I had a warranty on the tire so called them but they said they didnt recognise my warranty so I told them to put the donut on and Id take the car to the dealership. When I came to pick it up it was still on the lift and they said they were waiting for the new tire, I had to explain I had called and wasnt getting a new tire, there seemed to be some confusion. So I got them to put the donut on and I took it to the dealer. The dealer called and said they had done every test and the tire wasnt punctured and was holding air, they suggested the bolt was just the head stuck in the tread and actually hadnt pierced the rubber. So how did we go from a hole too big to be plugged, needing a new tire at $250 to a solid tire needing nothing , sounds like a scam to me, this is about as dishonest as it gets.Im giving one star because you cant post with no stars. Ill be looking into this further
I could give a -1 review, they would get it. Had an after market spare in my car because my car did not come with a spare, Firestone wouldnt change because it is against their policy, whatever that means, which I assumes you buy from us or we wont assist. However Mavis which is up the street was happy to assist.
Employees were very nice and willing to show me the problems they found with my car and explain the problems to my dad. They were patient when I talked to my dad and decided against their services (dad disagreed with the diagnosis). Appreciate them allowing me to wait inside for tow trucks arrival.
Don’t waste you time here !!!Wish I could give 0 stars. I made an appointment for 12pm today. Get there then I’m told they don’t have any time for me today yet let me make a damn appointment making sure it will work for me. Waste of my damn time. So worried about me drive with a flat yet won’t fix it. Or I can leave it there and pick it up later. What the help is the point of making an appointment for 12 to get my car back at 5. Took my car to mavis down the street and I was in and out in under and hour.
Horrible! They are slow. I always try to get an oil change from firestones but this one is by far the slowest. Twice they had to credit me or give me a decent discount because they take so long. Theres no reason I should bring my car in for an oil change at 7am and then have to wait until around the time they close to get my car serviced. HORRIBLE
New staff entirely in the last few years except for a few mechanics. New staff at desks are the worst most incompetant auto people EVER. Hard sell pressure tactics on little old ladys. Deceptive predatory sales tactics once your car is in for service. Seems new corporate policy is to force sell you things you dont need by scaring you. Several thousand dollars and days to a week later you will get your car back and it will still not be fixed. If i could give this location 0 stars i would. These people should not be in the automotive repair business. If you must take your car there, request Darren. He is the only competant mechanic there. Been a customer at that location since the day they opened. Will never take another vehicle to firestone again.
Sent my car in for a complete vehicle inspection (complete means complete). Receive a call that the car passed all tests and was driving fine. I then get a second call that the engine seized from no oil. How does that work when you just said the car passed all tests??? Now my car is dead, never coming to this location or any others for that matter
Hello,I will be leaving the worst reviews on any review site I can find starting with yelp and google. Today was my first attempt and my wifes 3rd to get my truck emission and safety compliant. My wife went in 6/16/2018 and they failed my truck over the third brake light being out and 1 wiper blade being bad. I wasnt happy and I thought this was stupid, but whatever, I fixed it. She then went back on 6/24/2018 to show them we fixed and they said that it had to be done by the mechanic who did the initial inspection. Again, what B.S. but my wife made an appointment for 10:30am on 6/24/2018. This time I went in and the guy in front of me was given a time frame of 2 hours for a full alignment and an oil change. They told me it was going to be 3 hours to look to see if a light bulb worked and if the wipers had been replaced. I said what would take 3 hours? The first guy said the entire inspection had to be redone. I told him thats B.S. and he said its the rule. I asked what rule? I said I have 3 hours. Show me the rule in writing, I have 3 hours to kill. He asked if I wanted to speak to the manager. I said yes. This is when I met Ray, the manager. This guy didnt back down either. He told me that it would take 25 minutes just to walk out there. He also told me that I did not have an appointment. I believe that was a lie. He did say that I only needed to have the light and the blades looked at which just showed how full of it the first guy was, but Ray did not back down that it was going to take 3 hours. I have always known that Firestone was over priced, especially when my wife told me that they wanted $160 to do one light bulb and 2 wiper blades. I paid $9.50 for 1 bulb, 2 spare bulbs and 2 wiper blades. I changed the the bulb and blades in under 25 minutes let alone 3 hours and they said it was going to take 25 minutes to walk to my truck. Anyway I paid $50 to have this done and have 14 days from the 16th to do this so I am stuck with Firestone. Ray made me an appointment at 8:30am tomorrow the 27th and I made him give me a receipt and sign it. I am so upset about this and I see his racket. Just keep pushing the date until my 14 days expires and I have to pay again. What kind of business are you running Firestone? Youd rather make a second $50 than have a repeat customer. Came here and asked for a diagnostic scan, oil change & car care maintenance package. Went in later for pick up and they didnt do the diagnostic that I asked for; instead offered to do $100 engine check. When I asked why they still couldnt do the diagnostic I didnt get much of an answer. Prices were reasonable for oil change and care package.
Painfully slow service... Dropped off a wheel in early AM, bought new tire and mounting/balancing. Came back in evening to find theyd not even started. A few hours later... They looked surprised that I expected them to install it in place of the spare tire I had been driving on all day.
I would like to thank Ray, Lamar, and Francis for making what could have been a nightmare bearable. You each went above and beyond to ensure my car care needs were met. You gentlemen are the epitome of customer serviice. Not only will I return but I have shared my experience with family and friends and will encourage them to patronize your facility as well!!
I made an appt for an oil change.i arrive and was told it would be 1.5 hours before it was completed. Then i see my mechanic talking to a friend in a car for 20 MINUTES.by the time i left it was 2 hours.something is wrong here with their management that this is an acceptable wait time.its too laxed their manager policy.
The two most recent interactions (5/31 and 6/7) with the service advisers at this location have been very unpleasant. Their tone and attitude makes it sound like I am a bother and they make no effort to accommodate getting work performed. This is a disgrace to serving the local community.
Gavin and Ray where super... at frist! Then it went down hill! I paid for 4 tires to be completed and got 3... went back the next day for the forth tire is took 6 hours dor it to be completed! In the mist of the tire being replaced my sensor was broken... almost 2 weeks later Im still waiting for that repair. I decided to call in today the person on the phone told me my sensor had been in and they didnt know why i was waiting for them to call me, when they told them to me they would order the part.I am livid!!!!
Zero customer service , there a guy with dreads who literally lied to me , i ask for a service to be excluded , but they did not and charged me for it , i ask the guy if the service was excluded cos it was stated in the invoice he said yes , i walked towards my car and i realized that they did and it was not excluded , i came back to the office just to make sure , and the guy was really mean to me , started overreacting and being rude, till another staff member decided to check and confirm that the service was not excluded. apparently they dont go by their founder statement I believe fundamental honesty is the keystone of business
Run of the mill robbery. Dropped my car off for inspection. Next day at 10am. They say it needs tag lights. They want 30 or fail inspection and pay again if I replace them myself. Then I made them see how that is robbery. Replace them myself in 5 minutes. Then I have to sit an hour after paying because the mechanic working on another customer and it wouldnt be fair spiel, even though I was waiting first. Just to spite a man and take time away from his children. Stay away from these guys. Ray will try to rob you if you let him.
I used to have NO issues with this Firestone, but recently my preventative maintenance visit has become a horror story. Brought my car in to have a timing belt/water pump job done. They claimed defective parts caused the belt to jump during a test start-up, wrecked one of the valves. 5 months later (after they repaired the engine-- and it still doesnt run right. Idles rough, loses/fails to produce consistant power under full throttle......its just a mess. Oil changes or tires are okay for this place; but AVOID having major work done here if possible.
Service has gone down, they used to do a full vehicle inspection and recommend repairs, now they forget the stuff you asked for and dont recommend anything new. I was 3k overdue for an oil change and they didnt ask if I wanted one when I dropped the car off for inspection.
I just want to thank Francis and Lemar for taking great care of me . I never had a bad experience with any firestone they provide exceptional , quick service and i appreciate that . I will definitely recommend this location and will be back again . Keep up the great work !
I came into this location to get my car inspected and they told my car had major steering issues and it will cost me over $1200 to fix the issues and pass inspection. So i declined the repair and took my car to the dealership for a second opinion. The dealership told me that I only needed to tighten some bolts which they did and they inspected my car and it passed. I will never go to this Firestone location again.
Terrible Service. They called and said that the breaks (that I just had replaced less than a month ago needed to be replaced and that I had a cracked brake boot, a part that doesnt even exist on my car.... I did get things sorted with the manager, but the still charged me over $200 for doing nothing. If I left my car there they may have started trying to charge me to replace my blinker fluid....

2022-07-10I am impressed with the Store Manager: Mr. Ray Ford who is well disciplined at his job. Also, he is a careful listener and gets my cars in good running condition. Additionally, Ms. Alayna Brown completes the invoices with all the Firestone coupons. Firestone is my first choice for auto repair. I appreciate the excellent customer service.

2022-08-12I attempted to use their service, signed up on line over a week ago. Yesterday followed up on my appointment it was gone for today. I went in, explained my son was leaving and needed the service. Zero empathy for my situation, they just lost a $1000 plus any future service on our other two cars. Would highly recommend NOT to use them their customer service is awful.

2022-03-27WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE Firestone branch!! I walked-in on Saturday, the (only one) service advisor was very impatient and responsed me in extremely rude way after I asked couple of questions about my car. Why I feel this way? Because I took my car to another Firestone right after visited this branch. The advisor there greeting at me immediately and be patient to listen my concerns. He gave a very honest suggestion that I should take my car to the dealer and kindly offer to print out some of my car information which exist in Firestone system for me to bring to the dealer. I wished I can memorized their names, so I can list them here to let Firstone management know what kind of person they should hire/fire. Anyway, I will cancel my appointment and never come back this branch.

2022-04-25So today was my first time at Firestone Complete Auto Care. I went to the one located in Bala Cynwyd. I want to start off by saying this company is very bleesed to have a supervisor like Mr Ray Ford working there. He was very patient and understanding. He took his time explaining everything that i needed done. Very good/ professional customer service from Mr Ray.

2022-08-19Losers! I called about an oil change, they said I could wait around while they work, would take an hour or so. I show up today and they said theyre fully booked (meanwhile half the bays are empty and mechanics are lounging around) so I wouldnt have the car until 6-8 hours later. Dont know where the miscommunication occurred but terrible customer service. Wont be coming here again!

2022-06-19The bolts holding my manifold gasket (the part that connects the catalytic convertor to the engine) snapped. Went to this location left my car after telling them the problem. The installed a new catalytic convertor which i did not ask for. They installed some part to reaffix the manifold and never sealed it properly so the car still sounded bad. The most unprofessional part of the entire ordeal wasnt even any of this. It was the fact that when i went to get my car they gave me the keys and i walked around the little parking lot 4 times and had to ask where is my car. The guy told me oh yea its on the street arounf the corner. Just parked it on a public road complegely out of view like i had to walk down a random block looking for my own car.

2021-05-15I scheduled an inspection for middle of the month.A day before the appointment, I hit something in the road and needed 2, maybe 4, new tires. I called to see if they had tires and Ray confirmed that they had the tires and it would take about 2 hours as long as I didnt have inspection issues.The car passed inspection, but I had to wait 5.75 hours for 4 tires to be changed. I watched people that came in after me get their cars back. I went by the car bay and the car was up in the rack for 3 hours where I didnt see anyone working on the car.I have been going here for 20+ years. They were ago to place for a quick, honest inspection and tire service. Very disappointed.

2021-11-06I made an appointment for 9am this morning and the manger told me it would take all day when I got there. I called at 5:25 (they close at 6) to see where my car was only to be told it was just coming off the lift. I was then called ten minutes later about how they could not top up power steering fluid or transmission and the system closes at 6 so I had to be there asap if I wanted my car. Why was I able to make an appointment if they clearly didn’t have time for it? Why did an oil change take eight hours? Why are they “complete auto care” if they cannot do basic fluids? Why wasn’t I called to let me know about these fluid closer to when I made my 9am appointment?I’m very upset with my service here and having to leave my car over night. The only generous thing they have done is say yes when I asked them to park my car in the garage over night.I won’t be back here and I wouldn’t recommend anyone who values their own time to come here.

2022-02-10Guys have always been decent. Been coming here since I was 18 with my first car. Im 30 now and continue to bring my car here for service, havent done me wrong in 12 years.
