Franklin Hill Vineyards in other cities:
Franklin Hill Vineyards not only has a breathe taking views of the surrounding valley. The wine and service was outstanding. I recommend their wine flights. My favorite was their Kentucky tea. Its a great place to go out for a day in the country. I highly recommend Franklin Hills Vineyards.
Quiet, peaceful, beautiful views, and the service is amazing! The wine list features something for everyone, from dry to sweet, and the sweet wines with literally knock your socks off. The Sir Walters Red is our favorite. Put this place on your list to visit, you wont regret it!
This is the best winery. They have storefronts all over the lehigh valley and their wine is in most liquor stores and grocery stores. Their wine, ingenuity, and customer service are awesome. This is the vineyard location where they have an indoor tasting bar, outdoor tasting bar, outdoor seating, fun events, and small bites menu. Their famous peacock strolls the grounds. Definitely worth a trip!
Beautiful property and friendly staff. The one downside is that their tasting was delivered via test tube like plastic ware. (Guessing this is due to covid-19). With that it was hard to really enjoy the wine. I see that their wine has great reviews so do want to try again but as mentioned wouldnt suggest the tasting.
Its been a few years since I visited this location for a wine tasting, however, the hospitality was very welcoming, they treated us like family. My love & I were at a dinner, Sir Walters Red was served, I had to find out the brand and the rest is history. I absolutely love their wines, Fiesta is my second favorite for the once in a blue moon I do drink. Theyre fruity, sweet, and mellows you out when need be 😉. I buy by the dozen because its quite affordable and I dont find such great tasting wine as these Anywhere else. Im about to order some right now, I see they have new flavors Id love to try. I strongly recommend FHV to anyone wanting great tasting, quality wines. Also, I love their expeditious delivery, for me, its within just 2 days! Continued success to the Franklin Hill Family, 🍷 Salud!🎉
My husband went here over three years ago when we were just dating. They had this alcohol infused chocolate mousse that was to die for. My husband and I still talk about it to this day. Love this place and we frequently purchase their wine (my favorite is crush- pomegranate peach). Fantastic place, I highly recommend! Now I want to go back. Lol!
I recently visited this winery with a group of friends and we had an amazing time. It was a long ride for us and when we arrived they had a ton of yummy food for us to enjoy. The owner Elaine gave us a tour with samples along the way which we all enjoyed. We came for the Fainting goat and left with so many more new favorites! Definitely worth the drive and I will return very soon! Thank you ladies for a wonderful Moms day out!!
Three cheers to the ladies of Franklin Hills! They took a pandemic situation and turned it into the most spectacular outdoor wine tasting event I have ever experienced. The exotic, yet refreshing flavors will have you going back for more! They went above and beyond to meet ALL of Pennsylvania’s requirements. WAY TO GO LADIES!!!WE WILL BE BACK TO STOCK UP FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!!
We love Franklin Hill we first got a taste of the wine at the Split Rock Wine Fest and we loved it. Started going to the winery it is beautiful .Cant wait to see it in spring and fall. The deck is great for sitting and enjoying. And all the people who work there are really nice. Love the story of Sir Walter Red. We were there just before covid cant wait to go back.
Not only did the staff and owner respond well to the power outage that had recently come upon their winery and surrounding buildings, but they served up the wine with smiles on their faces and advice all the same. In addition, the owner was present and was as inviting as ever, giving a detailed account of the types of tastings they offer, different types of wines as well as different combinations. In fact, I later went to the Broadway Pub for dinner after my wine tasting, and I ran into the owner again! Not only did she recognize me, but she asked about my experience, said it was great seeing me, and asked me to visit again. By far the most inviting winery in the area, very personable.
They produce amazing local wines and hard apple ciders. They make excellent quality of Red, Rose, White and some fruits wine. You can do wine tasting little as $6 and 3 wine sampler for $10. You can enjoy nice wine in both indoor and outdoor. If Its sunny day from Spring to Fall, definitely set outside and enjoy their good wines. You can bring some lunch and snacks n do picnic there too thou they offer small free snack n cheese. Im planning to bring lunch basket to do a wine picnic there next summer.
Had a good time at Franklin Hill today. It was our first time there. The young woman serving our wine tasting was very friendly. There was cheese and crackers, as well as samplings of dips. The wine was delicious and the variety was impressive. The only thing missing was a restaurant or even some tapas. Maybe a wine and cheese pairing plate that you can purchase. We would have stayed longer. We went to another vineyard today and in comparison, Franklin Hills wine, service and professionalism was much better.A few things that I would improve on were the road that leads to the vineyards was unpaved and would have been nice if we were told more about each wine not just that it was sweet or not as sweet (for example, you will taste a nutty flavor, or a hint of citrus, etc.Their store was clean and lovely, the staff was very friendly (I would hire them!), and the wine was really good! Our favorite wines were Katies Creek and Catawba. The Pomegranate Peach and Fiesta was delicious also!
First visited this fine establishment some 8 years ago...it was nice then. Now, it is exceptional!Though I am disinclined to bring up gender, as it suggests that it is beyond normal, I am compelled to note that the woman running this fine winery do a fantastic job of it.Their wines have only gotten better, with a few notables. Do not leave without some of the Cask 350, as it will not disappoint! A complex dryer red blend, aged in bourbon casks - I have tried several now, as this trend is growing, but none finer than theirs! You will likely find at least a few others here that excel - we are fans, and will not wait so long to return.
Could not be happier with Franklin Hill. I had rented a bus to tour local wineries and one of the places I had reserved a time with was closed when we showed up. Franklin Hill SO GRACIOUSLY accepted our 27 people for a last minute tasting. Not only did they let so many people come last minute, they put out plates of snacks and a dessert for each person that was included with the tasting. The entire staff was SO kind to us and really saved the day. Thank you SO MUCH, Franklin Hill! Love this winery!!!
Kim and I love Franklyn Hill, they have something for everyone. We are dry wine fans and love their selection but if you prefer sweet they have plenty to choose from. Elaine is awesome as are the servers. Knowledgeable and friendly. Dont forget to try the ciders as well!
We are from Virginia where there are a lot of vineyards, and we have visited our fair share. Blue Ridge ranks at the top of any that we have been to.Phenomenal reds, and a great chardonnay.A relatively new vineyard, these folks are doing it right. An atmosphere that is relaxing and people who are personable and very friendly. I only wish we lived closer, so we could come back often.

2022-05-08This vineyard is AMAZING! The wine was great and reasonable. The owner and her staff really went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed. She came and personally greeted all of us, shared with us her life story of how she got started. Meeting the owner of this winery and hearing her story was so inspiring. Hearing her story only reassured me that we as women can do anything that we put our minds to! I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back!

2018-07-09The ladies there are so friendly!! I was greeted by a lady running around with boxes of wine. I came for the Carnival, cotton candy flavor wine. Oh my goodness!! It is so sweet and tasty!! The young lady was so nice to give me a couple of sips to sample the wine before purchasing. I will definitely come back if I am in the area. They also sell bottle beer from local breweries for onsite consumption only.
