We love coming here on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and sitting outside having food from the food truck of the day, drinking a delicious beer that a small group of people worked hard on to get just right. Free Will is what most people want when the want a microbrew. They keep up with the trends, but they keep their identity. In other words, Free Will is one of a kind. This is not a place thats trying to be like everyone else, and they arent trying to fit in or play catch up with the other guys. They know their stuff here, and they know what they want to make.Thats not to say that they dont have a great variety here. Some of their beers are always here, too, like the always-delicious Techno IPA. Our last visit had nice darker German-inspired Rouch beer with a great smokey presence, as well as a oat pale ale that was really good. They also had a beer with a hint of grapefruit. It was much better than I thought it would be. In the past, Ive had their saison and the crisper, a kolsch. Both delicious. If you like sours, they have Sour Sunday once a month. Come check this place out. They know beer and they appreciate it. It shows in their finished products.
Great, friendly service and very tasty, innovative craft brew selections. I live in North Carolina and discovered this brewery through their attendance at sour beer festivals. This is the first time I was able to visit the actual brewery and I’m so glad that I did! The server was very friendly and answered all of our questions with knowledge and enthusiasm. This stop was definitely out of our way on our RoadTrip, but it was sooo worth the detour! Hannah is Awesome!!! :-)
Great place to unwind after work with the pups. I wish they were allowed inside, but health inspectors don’t see it that way. Very happy that they are starting to make lighter beers. Don’t get me wrong; I love the specialty sours, ipas, and stouts, but sometimes I just want a pils or a lager.
Free Will is a solid brewery in PA. Depending on when you go their specialty is barrel aged beers (stouts, saisons, etc.) When they have a variety of those in stock they are truly top notch. During warmer times when they have other things on tap they are still good if not exceptional. One interesting and really cool aspect is that they have tables among the brewing equipment which is pretty unique. Long story short we would certainly return.
Great local brewery! The beer is great, and new beers are released constantly. Makes it fun to come back and try the newest batch. The facility is very clean with an updated industrial feel. You can see and tour the brewery right from the tap room. The staff is excellent as well. In the several times I have been there the service is quick, attentive, and extremely friendly! One of the bar tenders even remembered what I got previously.Even though it is a tap room, it is very family friendly. I have seen families with their dogs outside in the beer garden.Overall a great place that I will be coming back to.Edit: one year later and this place is still amazing. They are constantly experimenting with new beers. You can try something new each week. I strongly recommend visiting Free Will
Im shocked to realize I never wrote a review about this location before. This is, in my opinion, the best brewery in Bucks County. My cohorts and I have come here for every Eagles game over the past 3 seasons and every time we leave satisfied (whether the Birds win or lose). The bartenders are beyond professional and the beer options are impressive (to say the least).Way to be guys!
Highly highly recommend. Great beer and food truck on site. BYOF too. Just blown away! Above and beyond expectations! Recently hosted a small gathering here to celebrate my engagement. Joe (retail manager) was professional and helpful from beginning to end. Racheal and the rest of staff were so respectful and customer service was phenomenal! I look forward to my next visit and continuously supporting this business in the future. Semper Fi!
Its local, and they often have enough beers for me to cobble together a flight that pleases my taste buds. It is, however, fun to watch the lunatics brewing outside of the lines, and eating their crayons afterwards; every so often they turn out something that is not main-stream AND makes my taste buds happy. Brew long, and prosper.
This was our first stop in a few months.Due to the pandemic everything is canned. If your beer tastes are geared toward hops you will have a lot to choose from. My husbands and my tastes are not geared in that direction so our choices were a bit more limited. We first purchased food from the food truck, which was great! Our beverage choices were the kolsch (just a touch of pine/hop) and I fell head over haystack for the the weekend water mead . After a nice meal at a picknic table under a tree with the for mentioned libations it was time to go.I purchased 2 four packs of the mead, for I have to go home and weed, so I might as well enjoy the chore!
I consider myself lucky to live within easy driving distance of Free Will. This place is cranking out some truly unique beers and epitomizing the ideals of craft brewing. Until visiting Free Will a few times, I never knew how many different styles of beer existed, what makes them different from one another and how they are made. I cant say enough about Free Wills sour beers which are perhaps the most delicious drinks Ive ever had. I also highly recommend stopping by on a Sunday to relax with a few great drinks and lunch from one of the various food trucks that rotate through.
Ok so I need to start by saying I’m NOT a beer drinker, we moved about a mile from Free Will and I had gone to school with several of one of the owners families. So when a friend who is a beer guy stopped by to visit I figured what the hell. Support the home town guys, “Life Changing “ might be a bit far but I discovered a beer I absolutely love. I’m not mentioning it by name because they make a limited amount each year and if you swine start drinking it that means less for me. But I will say it was so good my friend left with a keg for his home bar. The staff is overly friendly and helpful but sometimes overwhelmed. We’ve been back several times and it’s always busy. The food truck thing is really cool too, I expected more bar food but it’s been impresssivly sophisticated, not cheap but really really good. There’s one truck in particular who’s name escapes me ( I’ll update when it comes to me) but is amazing. They make these loaded potatoes wedges with brisket and lobster Mac and cheese you would stab your own mother for. Overall great experience great people go there and support local
These guys make some great beers. They take great care to get their batches correct and part of that process is sampling and feedback from the public. Almost every time I go in they have something new, which makes it fun for me. Of course they always have their regular ones, depending on the season, and each one is excellent. This is just a brewery (no food) with free samples and growlers, cases, and (cold) six-packs for sale. Free Will offers tours on Saturday (@ 1 & 3) which are typically crowded but worth seeing once.
Beer fans must stop here. Free Will has it all. Food trucks on Thursday -Sunday with brunch on Sunday. Two bars so minimal lines to grab a beer. Sours, stouts, ipas... Anything you are looking for they will have for you.Kids are welcome. If you want to stop at a pizza place and bring in some pies then do it. Any food you want to bring is fine.Picnic tables on the brewery floor adds a bunch of seats. If you want to go on their sour Sunday then a pro tip would be to get there at opening. This place will fill up and it will get packed quick.
A decent amount of beers, staff is friendly, and the place is nice and clean. Ive had about 12 of their beers and only have really enjoyed 3 of them (one of those 3 was a collaboration). They arent bad, just dont really stand out to me. Worth stopping by and trying a flight none the less.
Have been going here for a few years now; great beer selection and a nice laid back atmosphere.Family friendly in the daytime hours which is nice; kudos to the staff for helping us out with our kid when we were there.I do miss the sputnik experimentals they used to have on tap; but the techno IPA is near perfection.
I stopped in on Saturday Night with a few of my friends. I got to sample a few of the beers on tap. The one I decided to go with was Coffee, Oatmeal, Brown aka C.O.B or as I called it Beer on the Cob. It was great. The flavor was wonderful, it was a beautifully smooth stout. I couldnt drink it fast enough! I loved every drop. I cant wait to try another beer.
I stopped by with my wife just recently and what a surprise great atmosphere light and airy. They have a full selection of really well made craft beers. You can sit on a pick nick table inside the brewery and its great for the whole family. I had a flight of 4 beers the IPA and Pilsner were excellent. They have a Russian Imperial Stout called Ralfius that is simply amazing. If your into craft beers and being able to enjoy them in a relaxing atmosphere you have to check this place out.
Free Will doesnt succumb to downfall of most breweries which is lack of innovation. They are always dreaming up a new beer and arent afraid to try something in left field. They also know what they do well, sours. And boy do they do them well! Sour Sunday is a must visit and the food trucks on the weekends during the summer are a great addition as they dont serve any food on site. If you have the time a brewery tour really rounds out the experience, you can see where they started the original taproom in the basement and how much theyve grown! Free Will certainly eases the pain of this Michigan girls relocation.Must Try:- Sour Pale (staple)- Any of their wine aged sours (not always on tap)- Techno IPA
This is a shining example of what it looks like when you put love and care in to everything you do. Free Will not only makes some of the best beer Ive ever had but they are also friendly and create a pleasant, social environment for all people. This is a must stop for all beer drinkers
A constantly changed and rotated draft list with a recurring pattern of creative concoctions always in the works, Free Will has become an iconic landmark of Perkasie. It honestly puts Perkasie on the map, and gives people a reason to head there. Food is not served within the establishment, but a food truck can be found just outside the doors based upon a posted scheduling of when food will be available. Free Will is a place where you cant really go wrong.
Awesome beers friendly staff... bartender was sweet but spent a lot of time socializing with guys on opposite side so we waited for refills for quite a while.... I remember being that age so I understand but I would pay attention to customers while i have fun at work?
Waited 20 minutes to get a beer as the bar staff waited on everyone else around us several times. Ignorant staff more concerned in serviing their friends the serving a customer. They werent even busy either only a few people there. Left without even getting a drink 25 minutes after getting there.
My experience was finally stopping with my wife and we couldnt even get past the rude people inside the food truck to go enjoy the brewery the people inside the food truck were so rude that we didnt even want to go inside the brewery Ill never go there again first experience last experience food truck people you lost me as a customer forever same goes for the brewery if thats the type of business you have outside your business

2021-12-05Great brewery with an excellent and diverse selection of house-brewed beers. Check the website for the food truck schedule. Try a flight in the taproom to find your favorite. All of the beers on tap and a few others are available as cans to go.

2022-02-26Great beers!! The flight is a great choice to start off with, you can try multi great beers. And most importantly, everything advertised was available on tap with friendly and fast service.

2022-03-14I came to Free Will for the first time to meet a first date...and he didnt show. The bartender Hannah and fellow patrons Brian & Tori were awesome and made the situation so much better. Not only that, but the beer and overall vibe were equally awesome. I will for sure come back and thought it was great that the employees also choose to hang out there when off the clock - indication of a great employer.

2022-03-23If I could give this place six stars out of five I could. I extremely recommend this place for events and for getting great beer. We had an event at Free Will recently and the hall was a great venue to have it at. From start to finish they were, so kind and accommodating. The communication leading up to the event, along with communication the day of, was second to none. The staff they have is extremely friendly and welcoming.Let me get to the beer now... this is the best beer I have had since moving to the northeast. I have been to a lot of breweries and this is by far the best quality beer. They have something for everyone.

2022-05-14I live close by and often go for a beer run. Its very hip and has ample outdoor seating. The are dog and kid friendly. Often hosting events. The food trucks are ok but expensive and sometimes sold out of what you really want to eat.

2022-06-18Went here with my 6 month old granddaughter, we asked if they could heat up a bottle of water to feed her but was denied because we weren’t part of the kid party they had going on. Wow I had to be part of a event going on just to get 6oz of water warmed up. Place was filled with kids you figure they would be a little more caring.

2019-09-04I went there for Sour Sunday in August. I like that the flights are only ten dollars, but cheap lager types may think that is a lot of money for a small amount of beer. I generally enjoyed all the sours I tried, but I would rate the best at about 7.5 out of 10.They had food trucks lined up in the street, and it was nice to have food to go along with the beer. Just make sure you put your own trash in the trash can. I got a dirty look from a waitress when she was collecting glasses and I put my trash on her tray. Oopsie. It was a nice day and it was nice that there was outdoor seating to enjoy it. The inside seemed nice enough. The bathroom was clean.I am looking forward to going back.

2016-12-27My wife and I are from Cincinnati, where an unreal amount of micro breweries are being established, and we think this place is way ahead of the pace for a brewery only 5 years old. The beer has been refined to perfection and the atmosphere is very friendly. The only reason this didnt get a perfect review is because they need to have an oven that makes food. Then this place would be perfect. Something for everyone in a brewery that is well put together. Very nice!

2018-12-02Great atmosphere...Im not an IPA girl and some of the samples were rough...loved the juice money though. Great service and food truck on premise for great German eats (the night we were there) not sure about other dates and times. Heres our sampler ..
