Nice clean store with friendly staff. Sometimes the store may appear out of an item that I need. I do ask the staff if the item has sold out. I am usually told yes the store is out only to find the item has been moved. The pharmacy staff are very competent and kind.
Giant has my family pharmacy inside. Everyone there is always so helpful and nice and they always have everything in stock so I dont have to wait. I do my food shopping while waiting for refills!! 🙂
Stores fine... Bakery is terrible. Placed an order without any fulfillment. Definitely will stick to other stores and actual bakeries for these purchases.
Great supermarket, with a friendly, helpful staff. The food bar is terrific, and there are both indoor and outdoor tables at which to eat your meal.
The store has the highest prices around . The store also has very uptight cashiers who speak to you like youre trash. She was very unfriendly and spoke badly about me under her breathe

Never there before people always said it was pricey but it wasnt that bad but they have products I havent seen in other stores they had 7 other varieties of chunky soup I never knew existed along with many other items were going back
Store shelves are almost always empty, but when I go to Springfield, they have what Brookhaven doesnt. Also the Deli in Brookhaven never opens until 7am, while the others all open at 6am. Stupid and not sure why that occurs. Even the cashier thought that was a stupid starting time.
They are truly a family/community store always friendly and professional and CLEAN thanks for the family dinner on you guys every little bit counts.
The store was very clean. However, some of the shelves were extremely bare. There was very little cat food available (especially cans of cat food).
This is my main grocery store. Overall, the store is clean and theres a good selection. Ive found the beef options seem to rotate though so just because youre going in for a ribeye or something doesnt mean theyll have it. It seems like most of the aisles are stocked though otherwise, even through the pandemic. (Though I find it hard to find brocolli bacon cheddar soup!) Biggest area of improvement remains staff, specifically cashiers. Often times Ill be waiting in line as long as it took me to shop because only two lanes are open. I feel so bad for the cashiers who look exhausted (everyone should try and help them and bag!!). But I also appreciate it is hard to find people. Thanks giant of brookhaven for doing your best!
The pharmacy has an amazing team!! Their hours arent always convenient in comparison to other pharmacies but convenience isnt everything. Having a pharmacy team I trust and feel comfortable talking to and asking any question is more important than the hours their open. I dont want to be a number, I want to be treated like a human and I am treated like that and more.... :)
I was in an out, store was clean,workers were stocking things on the shelves and fridge,I got into the self checkout line an Must say it moves pretty fast.

Generally speaking, the Giant markets in Brookhaven and Aston are pretty good. This is my favorite because they always seem to have what Im in for.
I give the corporate giant in the way of I thank them for the ideas but the only Giant I love is the one in aston
I enjoy late night shopping and being chased down by GIANTs favorite robot 🤖 Everyone is always helpful 🙂Edit: I miss the quiet and empty days during the early pandemic back when markets only had a handful of people in there. GIANT is still one of my favorite places to shop tho.
Usually a pleasure to shop here, this has been my preferred grocery store since it opened. Lately, the shelves have been very poorly stocked even around 10-11am on weekdays. There are hand trucks full of boxes laying about - employees socializing in aisles with each other. There’s a small army of shopper employees preparing order pickups with empty shelves for in-person shoppers. If they can’t keep shelves stocked (these are not items experiencing known shortages: literally in stock at their competitors across the street), I will shop for my family elsewhere.
Two items, NyQuil & Hot Dogs were marked for discounts. NyQuil $3 off, Oscar Mayer Beefs 2 for $7. Neither was discounted when I paid. I realized it later when I looked at Receipt at home.
Had diet sodas on sale. Good price. As always picked up other stuff.
Clean, stocked, well lit, plenty of inventory, spacious, staff could be friendlier and more hospitable.
I have changed my rating. Some coupons you still have to clip, why arent they also included with online coupons. Online coupons not in order...find baby items in with cleaning supplies, frozen food with detergents, etc. Today while shopping was looking for any spray advertised, aisle marked pest control, no pest products there. They are in the baby aisle, and not even ones advertised.
They do not take care of their employees, the bakery deli dairy and meat department a very insanitary.
Wednesday is the best day to shop at this particular location
Very clean. Prices are good. Quality is great. Most importantly the staff are very helpful. The cashier went above and beyond.
Big shout out to Crystal from store #6278 in Aston PA. She is the BEST!! Crystal When out of her way this morning to help me out before I was leaving for a trip. The funny thing is I went to the giant store 5 minutes down the road In Brookhaven and was not met with the same results. So glad to have crystal work at this store and Have such a friendly positive attitude at 10 minutes to 7 in the morning. Thank You Crystal!!

I tried for the 2nd time this year 4 months apart to place a cake order. The first time they told me they could decorate and tried to give me a bag of icing. Today they told me they arent talking orders due to the warehouse not applying them with product. She then told me this is every giant. I CALLED ASTON AND THEY ARE TAKING MY ORDER. I understand its covid but why lie????

Great grocery store! I wish it was closer. I love the fact that they have a section where they sell beer and alcohol. Its about time that Pennsylvania has alcohol in their grocery stores.
I love the giant store but the deli section the people are rude and most of the time you cant get service because they are doing the premium orders so if you are there in person in the morning when the set for seniors you cant order anything without the women there telling you.we cant wait on you we are doing other orders and she said it so rudely I dont use there deli anymore Igor down to brookhaven deli. Maybe giant should hire someone to take care of people in the store.
I really love this Giant location. The store is clean, the aisles are wide & the staff is very helpful. They have great prices on brand-name items, too! They’re rarely out of stock of my favorite items. I highly recommend this Giant location.

I usually enjoy going to the Brookhaven Giant, but as of late, I really struggle to find anything on my list. Im not sure if it is the ordering system, or if department managers are not keeping up with what is in high demand. With that said, I do like that the store is clean and the employees are usually very happy to help.
I had shopped at Aldi yesterday and needless to say I was not very impressed. Several items that I was searching for were not available. The selection of frozen vegetables was rather underwhelming at best I am not a fan of bagging my own groceries. To me, Aldi is like Save A Lot trying to be Trader Joes.

When are the grocery baskets going to be put out again for customer convenience. Aston Giant has them available and so does other places. Very inconvenient to carry items in your arm around the store.
Nice, clean, large selection. Prices are just a little higher than Id like, but not enough to make we want to stop shopping there. Plus they have a cute little robot wandering the aisles.

Valuable sales every week, starting on Fridays .. You can earn FREE GAS by purchasing products that change every week .. I havent paid for gas in years!! AND I got myself some extra gas canisters to take w/me when I fill up because you get up to 25 gallons for each gas visit. Customer service is very good at satisfying us customers when there are issues with not getting the correct reward points on your receipt, it happens from time 2 time so watch out but like I said they take care of it for you so its all good.
3 of 9 registers open at 12:30 on a Saturday. You can probably assume how that is going

Shopped last night and left with a lot of bags....this morning I realized I left a bag behind.Was going to write it off and then decided to call Customer Service to inquire about what they do with the left behind purchases (mine were frozen food products.)The customer service person I spoke with at 11:00 a.m. was very courteous and helpful....even though I cant find my receipt (still looking) she said not to worry, recorded what I left behind and then told me just to stop by customer service and let them know my missing items were written in the book and that I could pick them up.She did suggest that making it a habit of checking purchases against the receipt when I unpacked them at home was a good idea.Thank you Giant for great customer service!
Always a pleasure I was there a month ago and an my Son dropped his stuffed dinosaur an employee accidentally gave it away to another little boy 😞 The Manager on duty gave my son a cute little sheep from the seasonal isle to make up for the incident.. he loves his sheep and I love this giant!!

Always super clean, and an awesome, helpful staff! Never too crowded or long lines. Great deals all year around! I live 10 miles away and have 5+ other grocery stores closer to me but I always only shop there when it comes to my food needs. Especially for hydrants! They always have awesome, on sale deals on every drinks from water to soda, and even the popular stuff like Gatorade and Vitamin water! Their self checkout area never has a line, very quick and easy and always super clean as well! They do not disappoint there!
Came hear to find/purchase most of my items. before Thanksgiving to start cooking was able to find almost all of it personal opinion thier collard greens didnt seem right so i went to shoprite to buy them. Instead other than that is was okay and had a good meal ready for the day.
I use peapod delivery and am completely pleased with the service they provide. My groceries are all fresh, produce they choose for my order is what I would select myself. Every member of the delivery staff is professional and helpful, putting groceries on my counter at my request because my disability prevents me from bending and lifting. A+
1 star is more then they deserve. Went last night to get chicken for dinner around 6pm. The circular says the fried chicken 8piece dark meat is $5.00 this wk. We didn’t see any chicken for $5.00 in that case or a sign saying it was $5.00. We asked the woman who was working at that station and she said they didn’t have anymore dark meat. My question is why is this on sale all wk. and at dinner time you already don’t have any. We asked to speak to the manager. She told us she called the manager. 20min later still no manager. We got tired of waiting and took our business elsewhere. If you don’t have enough dark meat chicken you should not be running this sale. No sign was up stating they didn’t have anymore . They should be willing to give you the white meat for $5 when you run out. The woman did try to help us but it would have been nice if the manger showed up. Very bad customer service.
Always go for meat sales are reasonable.Only complaint is I depend on Giant for childrens melatonin. Never know if there will be 1 or 2, mostly empty. Using computers you would think management would know sales,stock,inventory!
The store manager in customer service gave me a hard time returning something. I had a receipt for everything but 1 item and I would have gladly taken store credit; however, he made me feel like a thief instead. I left with the refund I had received thus far and have never been back. Other than that, its a very nice, clean super-market.
I switched to the Brookhaven Giant because it seemed as though they had a better selection of things and the store was bigger. But the employees are so rude, they dont even acknowledge you when you are checking out. For that reason alone I am DONE with the Brookhaven store. The Aston Giant may be smaller but the people are so much more friendlier, definitely a better experience.
This place is nice but its been an issue lately that items I like keep getting removed from shelves. First it was Garden Lites Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle muffins and now its the goat milk! Might not go here if they keep dropping items from my weekly shopping list.
I have worked here for 5 years as a Janitor(The one with the diamond chain and watch that always smells nice!) Youre never going to get perfection, but all in all its a nice place to work. I try to keep it clean and help however I can. As for the U scan person looking everyone down. She is checking everyone to make sure they dont steal (Yes even me and other associates that she knows!). More so shes making sure the machines are working properly. Our produce has gotten much better due to some new hires of some older guys with great work ethic. We have a new Meat manager thwt is very friendly. Someone Complained about Lou. Lou is actually very nice. He is a hard worker and expects the same from everyone else. Hes yelled at me too, but hes also helped me get a raise when I needed it.
Great supermarket. Plenty of selection. Be ware, they have this weird robot roaming around scanning customers. Not sure what its there for, but I assume for a good reason. Plenty of parking. Nice location. Also, pretty good chicken at the hot bar. They also have beer and wine at this location. Cart ranglers are always there as well, which is good so you wont ding your door. Customer service was apparent as well, and they have a Citizens Bank in this location.
I’ve switched from the Aston giant because I find the store is more friendly. But today I ordered lunch meat the service is always slow but today the man was downright rude. After I had to tell him 3 times what I wonted He finished cutting it dropped it on the counter said nothing and walked away.This is very poor customer service and should not be tolerated.
I have purchased great nectarines in season. The fruit selection is very good and they carry Boars Head, which makes the best baby Swiss cheese and sharp provolone. Dish detergent supply selection is lacking lately and some lotions cost more here than at Walmart.

Toilet paper and Paper towels in stock, so it is definitely worth the trip. Also very clean and fully stocked shelves. Friendly and helpful employees. No wait check out.

Shopping on Saturday or Sunday mornings usually doesnt give you the opportunity to see the freshest produce (or its not even restocked).
This is my FAVORITE grocery store, and Ive visited them all!!! They are not as expensive as other organic markets. They call me once items are restocked because they know I love their Natures Promise (Giants organic version). Their products are always fresh, and the hot food is very tasty!!! This is great for times I cant cook a whole meal. I absolutely love my neighborhood Giant!!!
Love this store. UPDATE This is for the Giant in Brookhaven not to fond of the deli department. I always go to the Giant and always ask for my lunch meats cut very thin and almost all the time anymore they cut it extra thick. I have worked for a deli department at a store I know the difference between thick cut and thin. Im not asking for chipped meat just thin. So I dont recommend them for the deli which is pretty sad cause this use to be my favorite store.

Store was well organized, clean and prices were pretty good. Displays were all perfectly stocked. Although the Pepsi was priced over $6 dollars a 12 pack of cans. Thats insane.
I just left this Giants with the most abnormal grocery shopping experience of my life. The staff was rude. I use to like going to this Giants for many reasons. Now you have to enter in one door and go out of a different door. A staff person has to tell you what checkout line you can get into. I will not be returning. Shoprite has my business from now on.
Its a big modern grocery with everything, wine and beer, and hot food too. I go here very often.
The location of this store is across the street from where its shown on google maps. It is no longer next to the Dollar Store.Giant offers a good selection of items at reasonable prices, with the exception of lunch meat. But thats pretty standard in chain stores.. this location also sells beer and has the self scanners you can use to scan your groceries as you shop.
I was able to pick up what I needed. But I am very disappointed that you still cannot get Lysol or Clorox wipes, or any other type of wipes. If other smaller stores are putting out some I dont see why you cant.

I shop at both Aston and Brookhaven stores. Both are always clean, well stocked and GREAT cashier experiences. I use self checkout more often and I couldnt be happier. Tried other stores and still come back to Giant.
It is a nice supermarket. They have good food options in the prepared food section and a small group of tables that you can sit down and have lunch. Usually I always laugh at supermarket sushi but this Supermarket Sushi is actually quite good and it is reduced price on Wednesdays!
Great addition to Brookhaven. Store is clean. Produce is fresh. I wish they had the handheld scanners like the Spingfield store does, but not a lot of Giants have adopted those due to loss prevention.
This store is brand new and is slowly go down hill. The deli service is horrific! I stopped going there and now go to acme! The deli counter wait time is no less than 10-15 minutes even if its one thing your getting, the workers move like snails, they act like you are bothering them, when its their job to serve you. They are very ignorant! Cant find good help anymore. Its a shame. The managers dont care either, they dont do a damn thing even when they say they will. I had to give it one star because at least the workers in the dairy are nice!

Found everything we needed, but not my usual market. When you have the Giant savings card it is helpful for some items but $5.29 for a gallon of milk is high to me, just saying...
Been going here since good rx told me the majority of my medicines were much cheaper here. Watch out for the roaming robot, a he will fuss over a piece of paper on. The floor but wont see you and bump into you.
The store is set up with a good flow that keeps you away from too many people and they have self check out with cash and card
5 weeks now,...paper aisle had been empty. Holes all over the place in grocery. Shelves are 25%-30% empty. Why is Shop Rite across the street in better condition?
People are great, food is fresh and the store is clean. My only picky issue is that they often run out of prepared foods before dinnertime...? Other than that, great store, been going here for years and the move to a bigger store has made it so much better.

Waited in the deli line for 15 minutes. There were 3 people in line. No one had a ticket. The deli clerk saw I was next but chose to call the next ticketed number. I didnt make a scene, just left. Shouldve thrown my spoon at him *insert angry face*

Nice store and friendly staff. My only problem is with there online reward program, Ive been using it since the store opened. And every single time theres been a screwup, and if have to call the online coustomer service number to get it fixed. I could understand the many problems if it was right after they started the program. But its been over a year now and they still have issues!!
This store has the worst quality of products Ive ever seen. So far Ive purchased rib eye steaks that were already expired, a bag of onions that were half moldy, organic peppers that were moldy inside, a loaf of bread that expired two days later, and corn bread muffins that grew mold two days after purchase. Make sure you check all dates of the items you purchase here!!

Used to be one of my favorite supermarkets to shop in but the new manager Lou Carlino, is so mean and nasty to his employees. Over heard him yelling at a girl. Then I offered to buy a cashier some water she informed me that cashiers aren’t allowed to drink water but a manager walked by with her coffee cup in her cart. I will not be returning to your Brookhaven location if you’re going to treat your employees like this.
I WAS IN LINE SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND THE LINE WAS FROM THE MEAT DEPARTMENT TO THE SELF CHECKOUT.THE LINE WAS MOVING SLOW BUT STEADY UNTIL THE STORE MANAGER CORRUPTED THE LINE first THING the lady from self check let people form a second line which quickly became chaos and then the manager let people with big orders go to the heat of the line total waste of time

I love my local Giant, even if you are ALWAYS out of French Horns Every. Darn. Time. I want them. Lol Ive even learned to love Marty, the robot that announces spills and stockouts.
I went in today to do my weekly grocery shopping, when I got done shopping and went to a register none were open except for the 25 and under lanes. I asked the manager if they could open a register she said I could go to a 25 and under. As soon as I loaded my filled cart on the conveyer belt she opened two registers. This is the 2nd time this girl has done this it is ridiculous!
Workers are super friendly, helpful, and nice.
The Giant in Brookhaven is really good. They have fresh produce and food selections. Management staff and Sean are really helpful and do a wonderful job with customer service for your shopping experience.

Jakaiya at the deli section was amazing . She was patient with me, she showed me the sizes of my cut before proceeding she even gave me sample as of them and was very polite . I love good customer service
From their salacious offerings of luscious sushi and sensual fried chicken, to their reasonably priced staple items! OH, the joys of perusing aisle after aisle of grocery products! Flour! Rice! Beans, oh, so many beans! And even more FLOUR!! Flours for Algernon!

The new store is far superior to the old store. We live directly behind the old location, but we used to drive over the Aston store because of how old and dingy the Brookhaven location was. Very happy that Giant replaced the old location!

A new flagship Giant in expanding Brookhaven on Rte. 352. Bright, fully-stocked, convenient grocery store with a Wine + Spirits store next door. A welcome addition to this part of the county.
Its a nice giant. Went on a Sunday and wasnt that crowded. Was able to get in and out pretty quickly once i got everything i needed.
I typically shop at Giant and love it; however, the Brookhaven one didnt have Sun Chips!! Not even one variety...unless they were not with all the other chips 🤔

You can find pretty much what you need here but low selection of non GMO foods and even less organic, we needa Whole Foods or Wegmans in this town. They usally run out of fresh bagels early a d need better quality bakery goods like Guenardies had.

I put in a deli order ising the system...he took two walk ups while i was putting my order in. .15 mins i ho back to get it and he is still helping walk ups and hasnt gotten to my order! Very disappointing!

Didnt feel like cooking got a rotisserie chicken precooked it was excellent. Salad bar was good too.

2022-05-21Constantly out of stock of the brand beers I enjoy. Discontinued carrying the brand six pack I buy, even though I’m a regular/daily customer. I spend well over $3000 annually at this location on beer. Today I tried to buy the beer I wanted and the credit card machine was down. They are making it impossible to shop at this location. I used to enjoy coming here. Now it’s nothing but issues every, single, time, I, shop, here. Every. Single. Time.

2022-06-28The Brookhaven Giant has always been good to me to grab what I need whether its milk, bread, foil, soda, or wine it is good to get in and out. I will say most of the time I go there to grab roses for my wife, which she ends up loving. She has grown to become a fan so much that I take her so she can pick out her own flowers and make her own arrangements. It is always a pleasant experience and good interactions with staff. I appreciate a clean place that is quiet and I am able to get what I need without any problems to get back on my way.

2022-04-12I would like to personally thank Ken, dairy aisle stocker, for going above and beyond today. The item we needed was out of stock and he offered to look in the back for the Cheez Whiz. 2022-06-09A very clean and well-lit store. With some friendly staff. The bathrooms are well-lit and very clean. They have lots of things on sale from Meats to alcohol. There Is handicap accessible parking and entry doors.

2022-02-19My last review was 3 years ago and boy has this place changed. Specifically the deli department. I waited 15 minutes for my lunchmeats to be sliced(i was the only one ordering) and the woman didnt even wear her mask. My husband is in a lung transplant program and i have to wear a KN95 mask everywhere I go. I dont understand how someone slucing my fresh meats and cheeses be able to get away with this.
