My fiancé and I went here for our 5th anniversary a few days ago and was very disappointed. I used to hear such good things about this restaurant YEARS ago, and was expecting it to be the same. I was sadly mistaken. The menu online isn’t the same inside the restaurant, there’s very little choices. The wedding soup only had greens and meatballs, but the broth tasted fine. My fiancé ordered chicken Alfredo and I had spaghetti with meat sauce. The Alfredo sauce was non existent, it was literally butter noodles and chicken, my dish was ok. I most likely won’t be coming back unless there’s a overhaul in this place. Bring it back to how it used to be, especially if you’re charging so much!
Its a shame that there is not an option to give negative stars. The food has gone downhill from the last time I was there, but the prices have gone up. It was the worst service I have had in a long time, at any establishment. The management is horrible and rude. I guess there is a reason the parking lot is empty when I drive by on the way home from work. I took my family at and peek dinner time and there were only 8 people in the place, and 3 of them were at the bar.
Horrible experience. Hostess extremely rude to us when she sat my family - on our way out I witnessed her telling a family of 4 to “leave and eat somewhere else “ after they had been waiting over 30 minutes. Truly made my heart hurt for this family. Frequented this place often but tonight was my last visit -
I was last here like 2 or so years ago and I did not like the pasta sauce. But they must have changed something because this time it was absolutely delicious! I got the cheese tortellini in a basil tomato sauce with blackened chicken on top, my husband got some type of seafood pasta that had an olive oil and clam sauce. We were very satisfied with our food and the service.
Had been a favorite of ours, we always ate here when in the area. Great food and service, but fairly slow and a bit shabby. This time the menu had changed (very limited choice). Half an hour AFTER we ordered, they announced that they didnt have the ingredients for my order. My wifes meal was excellent, mine only so-so. We spent an hour and a half there (mostly waiting) for a simple meal. Completely unacceptable. We wont be back.
The best lunch experience I have ever had. A group of guys from work went with a man we are doing work for. The man gave a speech about what great workers we are and how he appreciates us. The waitress was touched and told us about her feelings. The chef was touched and gave us all amazing cheesecake for dessert for free. Amazing food
Excellent service and delicious food. We took a chance and hopped off turnpike for dinner during a long road trip. This restaurant was a nice surprise, clean and yummy. Entrees $18-22. We had the special Seafood Pasta with real lobster, crab and shrimp over Angel Hair pasta with light cream sauce. It was divine. With drinks $72 before tip.
I’ll never patronize this business again. Apparently, a family emergency caused the restaurant to be closed. So Guiseppe’s decided to post private messages with a customer. In these messages, you can clearly see the customer’s phone number and name. They publicly scolded a potential customer inquiring about a future reservation for no reason. Very unprofessional. See the image I’ve attached. It’s awful. I’ve blurred out the personal information that Guiseppe’s decided not to.
One of my favorite places to eat in the Beaver Valley! Family owned business, with a great group of employees who work for them! The menu selection is awesome, they have incredible daily specials every day! Not your normal run of the mill menu entree options either! Bar seating for those who like that type of atmosphere. Weve had small private parties here as well. One of the few places you can call and reserve your seating ahead of time! Their stuffed banana peppers are delicious, and their balsamic dressing with blue cheese crumbles is the best! Honestly not a bad thing on their menu, and Ive tried most of it! Kid friendly- with a variety of options for the little ones to eat too! Prime Rib specials every Thursday, and the meat is so tasty and tender! Love this place! And its super close to the turnpike, you can get off and on very easily for those just passing through!
Pre-Covid, a group of us would have dinner here once every couple months or so. Everything is consistently really good...the food, the service and the atmosphere. And its convenient...about 2 minutes off the Pa. Turnpike at Exit 13.If you like an appetizer when you eat out, the stuffed banana peppers are outstanding (and very spicy), and so are the fried zucchini (always crispy, never greasy) and the Italian Quesadilla. My favorite dinners are the Chicken Marsala, chicken (or veal) parm, and the tenderloin tips (with peppers, onions and portabellas over fettuccine. Its a bit pricier than other Italian restaurants, but the portions are generous, and the service and atmosphere are worth it. I dont think Ive ever left without a container with the next days lunch in it.Looking forward to dining here again, once our group resumes our weekly dinners.
This was my absolute favorite place to eat and I have been here well over 20 times. Tonight me and my girl came to celebrate me purchasing my first house. The waitress who had been here for 20 years did not describe the special properly my girlfriend took two bites politely questioned the waitress and sent it back. The waitress mumbled under her breath as she walked away. We asked for a manager and the manager was equally as rude. She just argued with us and told us were not here to let you sample food I paid for our food and left. I have never felt so disrespected at a restaurant and jesus being here in person would not be enough to get me to come back to this place I will make sure nobody I know ever eats at this establishment again
Sorry to say but service was very bad and our food was cold. We had a party of 9 which isnt huge (and they were not overly busy) but we were there for over 3 hours, took almost 45 minutes just to get drinks. The party I was with has been there before and said it was great the past times they were there, so not sure if it was a staffing problem or what the problem was but we will probably not go back.
The service itself was outstanding. My wifes take ordered medium well came to her rare so it had to be sent back. I had what they refer to as a sweet turkey Rachel sandwich. I did not send it back and I certainly should have. The bread on my sandwich Was hard enough to actually clean my teeth. Although I didnt check, I probably had bleeding gums by the time my meal was finished. The bread in the sandwich, besides being extremely hard and brittle gad an under taste of Crisco or some other spread that made it rather unpleasant. we are a big fan of this restaurant and Im quite surprised it turned out to be as bad as it was. the only thing that saved it was the service provided why are server and the hostess on duty that evening. we will go back in the future, no doubt but I will never again have a sweet turkey Rachel sandwich or any sandwich for that matter.
11/12/2020Revised review. This restaurant is close to my house. The first review was soon after we moved to the area. Now 1 year later... Tonight will be the last time I eat here. The last 4-5 times I have eaten here it was terrible service and mediocre food. I blamed the pandemic but no more. My husbands soup was cold, he requested the same pasta dish he always gets but the waitress said the chef will not make it with garlic and oil sauce the way he has requested 3-4 times in the past. So ok the waitress said she will make it work. So they charge him for a different dish and charge extra for the broccoli and chicken. So bottom line make the dish the way he request but extra charge to make it 5 dollars more. We are sick of the issues and was just hungry, so we ate and left never ever to return. I can no longer blame the pandemic for the terrible service, cold and average food and price gouging. We will stick with the local Ellwood City restaurants, they are happy for our business, do not over charge and will go out of their way to accommodate every customer.Chriss Wolverines, 2nd Ward Sanctuary, Breaking Bread and Christys!
Just ordered from Guiseppes and for 2 meals and almost 70.00 with tip I am a little disappointed. Ordered stuffed banana peppers for 10.00 got one pepper..... really. Lettuce for salad was wet and dressing had no taste. My entree was good. Their covid menu prices increased by 7.00 for my order. But will not order from them again.
This was by far one of the worst dining experiences of my life. The wait staff was busy with a party so we were waited on by the bartender (other patrons were waited on by waitresses). The Italian dressing is served hot and tastes like grease. The food was really dry like it was reheated left overs. I do NOT recommend this restaurant.
NOT KID FRIENDLY.Been there many times from childhood till now.A time or two per year. Never been wild about the place to begin with.Anyways, Its close to the Pike and not far from home.Im kinda bummed. I feel a little cheatedWe looked them up on the web to check hours. They had a kids eat free coupon. The server was awesome.Food ok, but its difficult to enjoy your $70.00 meal when know your getting the short end of the stick. The manager would not honor it unless it was printed.
The waiteress was very nice but the service was very slow. My wifes steak salad was excellent when she finally got it. My house salad dressing was very good. My mashed potatoes gravy mushrooms and onions was excellent. My one pork medaloin was good but the second medaloin was not cooked and I not eat half of it. In their favor they did take care of it.
The food was very delicious... And very expensive. Our party of three ordered 3 iced teas, the Italian haddock, carbonara, and manicotti. We each had tiramisu for dessert. Our bill came to almost $90. Include a tip and youre looking at $100 easy. So be ready for it. I wasnt.
Disturbing prices on dinner specials!! Had Baked Sea Bass special that was super good, but didnt realize till the bill came that it cost a whopping $30, for the slightly skimpy dish. We also got the Lobster Mac & Cheese which was good but dry and contained a small amount of lobster pieces for $25. The prices made an enjoyable dinner in a nice atmosphere very un-special.
The service, food, and atmosphere was outstanding. Will go back.Everything scratch made with the exception of some desserts. The chicken piccatta, tortellini and sea bass with a crab cream sauce was very tasty. Homemade wedding soup. A true scratch italian kitchen, just like grandma. The limoncello cake is a must.
Out of 4 different things I ordered. Went here for mothers day only had 4 things to pick from since they were out of everying. Paid for my wedding soup to go and they gave me vegi soup instead. My dish was $20 and tasted like a 5 year old made it. Bathroom was flooded with water and the carpet was very sticky and dirty. There were children working. Like legit 7 year olds cleaning tables, which im sure is against many laws, the butter and bread was so cold you could even spread the butter... First time here and I can say i will never go back. If you make the meals $20 at least make the experience worth it.
Live this place. Its our go to for Italian. Spacious dining room with booths (for 4) and tables with adequate room between. Separate bar area. Old school design with dark wood and plaster that helps absorb noise so you can have a conversation with out shouting or using sign language. Menu is full of traditional Italian dishes from spaghetti and meatballs, veal parm and manicotti to cioppino and steaks. Great homemade soups. Prices are moderate and fair for the quality and quantity. Can be busy on the weekends. Reservations recommended, especially if your group is over four people.
Husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal of spaghetti & meatballs the other nite but what was so great about Giuseppes Tuscany Grill was the fantastic service we received by Victor who was not only taking care of us but also 3 other tables. Victor is one of the best servers we have experienced in a long time. Thanks Victor for a lovely evening which was also my birthday.Bonnie & John

2022-06-16My husband and I were in the area for a mini vacation. Trying to find a good local fare, Google recommended Giuseppes. As it was a Thursday evening, it was quiet, which, honestly, more to our likening at the moment as we hadnt brought anything even remotely nice to wear as we were going to be on the trails. Cutely decorated, comfortable, and friendly service. Especially friendly service! Food was tasty with very generous meal sizes (depending on how much you can eat, 1 meal could easily feed 2 people). Veal parmesan was tasty and the prime rib (Thursday specialty) had great flavor. We plan on coming back if we are ever in the area again!

2022-04-06STAY AWAY DISGUSTING!!! We were in the area and thought we would try this place it looked nice from the outside. When we sat down we noticed that the menu was much smaller than what was online but we found 2 meals that sounded really good. I ordered the crab cakes and my salad came out 1st the salad was so wet and limp you could see through it it was trash. My husband had wedding soup it was so salty like a whole Box of salt was poured into it. My crab cakes came out the edges were so burnt and the it was like somebody dumped the crab cakes out of the Pan all the burnt pieces were on the bottom Of my plate and then melted butter on top of it so every bite I took tasted like that terrible burnt taste. My spaghetti was plain spaghetti with a tiny bit of sauce on top not mixed in the spaghetti just laying on top. My husband had veal parmesan and it was like a piece of shoe leather. The only bright part of the meal was the super nice waiter we had I hope he finds a job at a different restaurant because he will make Some money..

2022-05-19After looking at my bank statement and it clearly shows I’ve been over charged the amount from my order. This is why I usually pay cash but on that day I only had my debit card available! Sadly I won’t be going there again. And I even knew the owner from back in the days!Pics4yinz ~ Roscoe

2022-02-01Delicious Italian food. Not a fancy place, but the food more than makes up for that. The prices are a bit on the pricy side. This was our second time there. The size of the meals pretty much make up for the price.

2021-10-13We went to our favorite Italian place on our Anniversary & Were very pleased with the food & service, as well as the ambiance of a secluded table with soft music playing. Our server was pleasant & attentive. Only thing, the menu has been cut way back due to Covid, but we STILL dined well & enjoyed it very much.

2021-10-11Absolutely disappointed. When we sat down the waiter arrived to take our drink order and appetizers order. Well first off the menu was only 1 page long and that would not be a problem but the first 3 items we tried to order they didnt have. So the waiter suggested olives as an appetizer that was not on the menu. We agreed but it was short lived. They didnt have it either. So we were going to skip the appetizers and just order the main course. Well I probably dont need to tell you, but yes they did not have that.Spaghetti was the only item that was a sure thing on the menu.So we left. While leaving the lady at the bad made a big deal out of us leaving. Please stay we can find something for you she said.Needless to say there was nothing on that menu I would place as my second choice.Especially when Spaghetti was listed at an over priced amount. We ended up going to Sals instead. And I was able to order what I wanted from the menu and not what they had left in the kitchen.Avoid at all cost..

2021-07-25Waited for an hour for a drink and another hour for our food. Wanted $65 for a 8oz steak. My chicken Alfredo had minced up pork on it. The waitress seemed nice but just never was around. Not even worth it. It was about 50 degrees inside as well. Uncomfortably cold. Dont go here. Unless you want to half a day for a meal, while freezing, and pay top dollar for something your not even sure is chicken.
