Ive been taking my pets to Glenwood for several years and they continue to impress me with their professionalism and how they care for my pets. I have a very moody cat and these vets/vet techs work magic with him and get him to be calm even in situations where he normally would be freaking out. I cant say enough about how impressed I am with this facility and I plan to continue to bring my pets to them for years to come.
My dog was very sick. I went to one vet at another place and the news wasn’t good. Decided to get a 2nd opinion and I’m so glad I did. Dr. Jennifer Weaver looked at my dog and ran some test found out she wasn’t as bad as the other place. Thank you Glennwood pet hospital for your care
Glenwood Pet Hospital is one of the most professional, kind, and caring animal hospitals I have ever been to. About 2 months ago I had to unexpectedly put my beloved dog Booger Boo down and the decision was one of the hardest things I have had to do but Dr.Redmond and her staff did their best to make such a heart breaking process just a little easier on me and my family. Not only were they all so kind to me during they have been kind in the weeks following sending me a sympathy card and even sending me a mini memorial plate I had received today. I will be returning with my future pets and recommending to all my friends and family that they bring there animals here. Thank you for all your kindness!!
I’ve been taking my Yorkie here his entire life (he’s 8) & since have since gotten two cats that I now take there too because of the great service every time I go. After a horrible experience at another groomer who took a chip out of my dogs ear, I won’t take him to any other groomer but here. He actually gets excited to go to her which wasn’t the case with any other groomer in all his years. Overall, I can’t say enough great things about this vet and groomer and highly recommend them to anyone!
I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Glenwood Pet Hospital. We brought our 18 yr old kitty in today to have him put to rest because his health had rapidly begun to fail. The compassion showed by all the staff was amazing. The Vet that euthanized our kitty explained everything step by step and gave us time to say our Ill see ya laters to our precious baby. I Highly recommend Glenwood Pet Hospital!Run free at Rainbow Bridge Buttercup!
We took our girl Nikki there initially but switched them to Twinbrook because it was closer. We switched back to glenwood because their pricing was so much better and the care was to. Really good with text communication and reminders. Care went up and the price went way down. No brainer.
Always can count on Glenwood, the amount of times they were able to squeeze my doggos and cats in for emergency situations has truly been a blessing. All employees are friendly and willing to go ABOVE and BEYOND. The Vets take the time to answer any and all questions and are transparent about what is going on with your pet. I have never felt like I was being sold a procedure and have been given ample information on why certain things may be needed. I feel my pets are treated so well here and couldnt be happier to have such a reliable and trustworthy place to go to. By the way, you all have been amazing during COVID!
We’ve had 5 pets now (dogs and cats) in Glenwood’s care counting the past and present. Love this Vet Hospital! You can always tell a great place when all the workers are happy, caring and helpful along with the excellent doctors !!!Congrats Glenwood, you are truly THE BEST !
I had an emergency Sunday with my 7 year old golden retriever and had to rush him from meadville to Erie not knowing where we were going but the staff gave us excellent directions. They were absolutely wonderful and he couldn’t have had better care. They were very thorough and kept me informed as to what they were doing and treatments given. We had just lost our ten year old golden two weeks before this and our fifteen year old golden the end of November so we of course were very upset. We got to take our boy home and he will be fine with rest and meds. The staff and vet we had were amazing and I can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend this hospital and knowing they are there on the weekends when our regular vet is not is very comforting.
We used their in-home euthanasia service for our beloved elderly pup who had cancer for a few years and began to decline quickly. Dr. Gorney was able to accommodate us in short time. She was very professional, understanding, and caring in assisting us to say goodbye. We couldn’t have asked for anything more in such a difficult time, and being able to say goodbye at home brought us so much peace.
Vets are incompetent. I wouldn’t send a pet rock to this vet. My dog has been in and out for months and had X-rays and blood work and they kept saying she was fine here’s some steroids. Meanwhile they missed a tumor and pancreatic cancer and we had to put her down unexpectedly.
I have 2 dogs and 5 cats. Four animals are older and need more medical care. I have been going to Glenwood since I moved to Erie and the doctors there have been incredible. My 10 year old dog had to stay for several days and has some complicated issues. She is home and we are working on getting her back to a note normal state. I couldn’t have gotten through this with her without the love and support of the vets and staff at Glenwood. I highly recommend them!
Everyone here are so sweet and attentive. Sassy, my pomeranian, was attacked last year and they saved her life. I will forever be grateful. You guys are awesome. Thank you 😊. And my cat Ruby is always well taken care of. My girls are everything and I wouldnt take them anywhere else.
I have a geriatric dog and appreciated Dr. Weavers attention both to the dog and to me by explaining what I can do for her now to make her more comfortable and what to look for in the future; just plain giving me different options. The staff, too, showed caring both for dog and me.
We love the staff and the doctors at Glenwood pet Hospital. They are kind and caring. We also really appreciate all that they are doing right now to keep everybody safe during this pandemic. They are very organized and it shows that they not only care about their animals but about the owners taking care of them! I myself am taking this Covid pandemic very seriously and it makes me very happy to know that they are too.
We have always taken our pets to Glenwood Pet Hospital and not once have we ever walked away disappointed, upset or frustrated. Every staff member our family has interacted with have been pleasant, kind and helpful. In the past 2 years we have lost 2 of our pets; having to make that difficult decision is heartbreaking but each time the staff walked us through the process, supported us emotionally and provided such amazing care to our pets that it made the experience somewhat less painful. The staff should be recognized for the job they do, dealing with sick, scared or injured animals while also trying to keep us humans calm. These are difficult times,.everyone is stressed and overwhelmed yet the staff continues to show up and provide care to our furry family members. They are essential workers. Be kind to them, treat them with the respect they deserve and thank them.
Ive been taking my cats here for years and today was my rescue dogs first visit. She is afraid of hard floors and didnt want to come inside. They were so patient with her and provided treats and praise to encourage her. The employees here seem to genuinely care about your animals and I recommend them for any pet!
Glenwood hospital was nothing but helpful during our time of need. An emergency situation occurred with our Gotti and they were more than willing to accommodate us. Prompt, kind and safe service was provided to us and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.
In March, in the midst of a global pandemic, my sweet dog Emma was experiencing symptoms of a UTI. After numerous urine samples, tests, antibiotics, a sonogram, and finally anti-inflammatory medicine (that I had to get through CVS because it was people medicine), we heard the news we were dreading. As I went through the hardest part of being a pet parent, Dr. Jewell, Dr. Weaver, and the entire staff at Glenwood were kind and attentive even though their systems and processes had turned upside down in dealing with COVID-19. Both doctors spent a good deal of time with me on the phone, answering every question I had and patiently listening while I cried for my Emma. On the day of her euthanasia, the staff was empathetic and made us feel as comfortable as possible. I cant remember the name of the doctor who administered the medicine that day (for obvious reasons), but she, too, was incredibly amazing. Thank you, Glenwood Pet Hospital staff, for taking the best care of our furry babies.
In response, the reason I gave you such a bad review is this. Several weeks ago I was assured that I could come in with my pet, who is a rescue and would totally freak out if I left her at the office. I was told at that time I would be able to come in with her as safety shields would then be in place. Before my appointment, I tried calling dozens of time to confirm this,, but never could reach anyone. When I got to the appointment I was told I would have to leave the cats, which was what not what I was told originally on the phone. Now because you lied to me, , you are not letting me come back to you for care? Your post reads that you hope I can find another ver. In essence, because I will not have my cat traumatized you are now asking me to find another vet. This is why the bad rating.
My Chihuahua got Parvo. She was so sick, she couldnt walk, could barely move. She couldnt control her bowels and couldnt stop vomiting, couldnt eat or drink. I called every other veterinary hospital in Erie and connecting areas, none of them could get me in or really seemed to care that my baby was dying. The response we got from every other vet was basically Sorry, good luck. My boyfriend called Glenwood, and they told us they had no available appointments, but to bring her in anyway and they would get us in to a room as soon as they could. We got there, and within 15 minutes they had us in a room and Ellie was getting checked by the vet tech. They quickly ran tests on her, and found out what was wrong with her. They were very honest with me, but they were also extremely compassionate and understanding of how hysterical and devastated I was. She was hospitalized for two days, and during that time they were so cooperative with mine and my moms multiple calls per day to check on her. Two days later, she was well enough to come home. Today is her first full day home, and she is doing so well. I will forever be grateful for everyone in this hospital taking care of my baby, they saved her life. I am so thankful for all of you.
Everyone is great there from the vet techs to Dr Jewel who is absolutely wonderful. I had 2 dogs and 7 cats and wouldnt go anywhere else. She doesnt push any treatment on you and explains options. Also very realistic. Put my dog on heart meds that extended her life over 2 years. Other vets wanted to send me out of town to a cardiac clinic. You can tell everyone there loves their job because it shows
While the actual vets here are great and very knowledgeable, several of the woman at the front desk need to take a class on customer service. They are very rude and talk down to customers, who they will gladly tell you they have thousands of. Hence their poor attitudes, because they think that customers are expendable and replaceable and one persons business doesnt matter. They work with animals because they are not capable of working with humans in a professional way.
At Glenwood pet Hospital, Dr. Jenn Weaver always treats my animals like they are her own. She’s great with the animals, honest and efficient! The rest of the staff there is also extremely friendly and gives first-rate pet care. The hospital is comfortable, clean and kid friendly. They have always done a great job scheduling my pets with convenient appointments and the drive-through pick up window for medications is such a timesaver. I recommend Glenwood pet hospital and Dr. Weaver to everyone.
My family has been a customer here for as long as I can remember and the quality of service has gone from a 10 to a 0. I have always felt like the staff truly cared for my animal and wanted to the best for me but not anymore. My 8 month old dog was being attacked by a pitbull in the waiting area when the owner lost control of his dog. I was kicking and pushing this dog off my dog trying to keep her safe while roughly 10 staff members just watched this happen and NO ONE CAME TO HELP. No one came outside to see if we were okay and no follow up call asking if everything was okay. I would never reccomend this pet hospital again after what just happened. Completely lost my trust and if you want a pet hospital that will care for your dog in times of need THEY ARE NOT IT.
My daughters cat Elfie needed some treatment. The doctors and staff were amazing and fit me in the very next day. The COVID precautions and workflow they had put in place ran very smoothly. Price was fair and doctors were prompt and knowledgable. They fulfilled every expectation.
Wonderful care. The staff members are all so gentle and kind to my pets. The staff understand how important our furry friends are. Great job all! I wouldnt go any where else for my 1 dog and 2 cats. My dog just had surgery and is doing so well because of her great care pre and post op.
I, personally, am thankful for the protocols they have implemented. With Covid cases on the rise, I’m inclined to believe if someone there fell ill, it truly would then be a HUGE inconvenience.Thank you, Glenwood, for operating not only in the very best interest of your pets and owners, but your staff as well.
Dr. Gorney was very unprofessional and refused to give me a signed document stating her findings on my dog. Also the same doctor that mis diagnosed my friends dog that ended up dying. I can’t speak about the other doctors their and I would recommend glenwood for them just not dr. Gorney.
The new building on West 38th Street is awesome as are all employees and Doctors. They truly care about my dogs who are family members to me and most importantly I trust these professionals. They treat me and CJ and Roger like family- I highly recommend this practice to everyone!
I am from out of town noticed my golden doodle squinting and had some discharge in his eyes. When I called they were extremely friendly and helped me get in that day. The staff was very professional and the vet I had (Dr. Gorney) was very nice and explained everything perfectly. Very reasonably priced too. 25th
I have been taking my American Bulldog to Glenwood Pet Hospital since she was just a puppy. She is now almost 7, everyone at Glenwood recognizes her and treats her well when she comes in. My poor girl has tons of allergies and the vets and vet techs at Glenwood are always very kind in giving her shots and refilling her prescriptions. She has also had to have a variety of odd surgeries here, all of which she was well taken care of and communication was good. The prices at Glenwood are also very reasonable. They treat my girl like she was their own!
It has been my experience with Glennwood pet hospital that the quality of care you’re pet receives is second to none they really do care about your pet and you I’ve been going there for years and I have never been disappointed with the level of care your pet receives specialy during covid there just carrying people.
The staff and doctors have been wonderful as we nurse our dog back to health following an altercation with another dog. Multiple trips back and forth for treatment have been professional, compassionate, and FAST...an equally important value when trying to fit into a busy schedule.
Two weeks ago we took our sick 14-year-old pitbull to be examined because she was feeling ill. We were told she had a liver failure. We were told to give it until the weekend to see if the medication was going to help her and it didn’t. That following Monday we called every day! And we never received a call back. Our dog passed away on Friday we STILL HAVE NOT Received a callback from Dr. Jewel who we have used for all 14 years of our dogs life. This was the worst experience I have ever had to go through and the fact that the vet we trusted so dearly with our dog didn’t even give us the common courtesy to give us her condolences. Burton funeral home picked up our dog and we decided to have the cremation service done with them. They were absolutely the most professional people and genuinely caring for our animal we will no longer be using this service for Our other pit bull, I suggest you all do the same.
Weve been bringing our dogs here for the last couple of years. Since we had just moved across the country, I found them by calling 5-7 vets in the area and going with the cheapest option (Glenwood), so I was a little concerned at first. There was no need to worry. The staff and vets at Glendwood have been great, especially Dr. Jewel. They always listen to all of my concerns! I dont have to rush or worry something has been forgotten. They also explain everything very clearly and ask open-ended questions to make sure they were understood. I feel like they actually care about my dogs and give them the best care possible.
Do NOT take your animals here!! This place is all about the almighty dollar and less about animal health and well-being. I found a stray cat that was having issues breathing and because it was a Sunday and this was the only vet open I took the cat in. I waited an hour and a half. When they finally brought him out he was worse than when he went in. They charged me 150 bucks and assured me that the cat just had a cold, they gave me some cough meds and sent him home with me. I begged them to give him something to help him breathe better or to please keep him, but they refused. I brought him in the house and stayed up with him all night as he still couldnt breathe and basically watched him suffer! The next day I took the poor little stray to a real vet, they found out that he had a huge tumor in his throat amd he had to be put down. I was heartbroken and angry but thought maybe the Glenwood clinic was just having a off day...but today my brothers little dog got hurt, badly so being a Saturday my brother took him to Glenwood and what did they do for the little dog?? not much of anything after a 2 1/2 HR. wait They charged my brother two hundred dollars and told him to take his dog to his vet tomorrow...What!??? Really Glenwood?? I will never bring an animal here again...save yourself the money and time and take your animal to the family vet on Monday. Let me Edit this review as maybe it was a Saturday NOT a Sunday as they have so rudely pointed out! I know that it had to have been a weekend because, I couldnt go to my own vet, same with my brother...so, are you open on Saturdays? I know for a fact that my story is true and I as well as my brother received sub par service. More importantly, the animals werent cared for the way they should be. I am so sorry that my negative comments reflect badly on your business, maybe just maybe you will try harder for the next animal and that is really all I care about. How your Hospital and I use that term loosely looks I really could care less about. Whomever is reading this, I only hope to tell you the truth about what my experience was...awful! They are calling me a liar because I got the day wrong? Ok, thats fine, just know that regardless of what weekend day it was that this was our experience and it was really awful!
With Covid-19 I understand that things are all crazy. So as a responsible adult I showed up approx 20 minutes before my dog Hazel’s scheduled appointment for an ear infection. Followed social distance instructions checking her in, proceeded to wait in the parking lot for 45+ minutes. To watch employees enter and exist with animals that showed up 20-30 minutes after me. What is the purpose of scheduling and checking in if there is no general order in which you serve customers, or if something is taking longer than typical, communicate with customers instead of leaving them sitting in a parking lot.
We have been taking our animals here since we adopted our dog five years ago (we now have a dog and two cats that come up here). The quality of care is excellent, weve seen several of the doctors and do not have a single complaint. Everyone in the office, staff, vet techs, vets, are all professional and caring, and we are very happy we started coming here.
I have been going to Glenwood for many. many, many years, Just recently my two pets both got hit hard with illnesses. The doctors and staff bent over backwards to help my pets and also to calm me down (they are my kids). They are awesome people at Glenwood Pet Hospital and I would never take my pets anywhere else. If you are looking for a GREAT/CARING veterinary hospital take your pets there. They will get the best care EVER and you will be so pleased. A special thanks to Dr. Jewel, Dr. Palumbo, Dr. Redman, Dr. Webster, Dr. Weaver, Breanna (sorry if I misspelled any of your names) and all of the other wonderful people/staff that cared for my fur-babies. I REALLY APPRECIATE YOU!!!
Long wait, 60+ minutes wait after appointment time, last two visits. Although I understand delays can happen, it is a major issue because of how we were treated. Marygrace, the staff manager, was rude and claimed that because we were 1 min late, the doctor was 60 min behind. She claims that if we had arrived 1 min earlier, the doctor would not be so far behind. She was dismissive and proud of her rudeness. All we asked was to be notified that the doctor was behind schedule and she blamed us instead of apologizing for the delay. Very poor service especially to pets and pet owners stressed because the dog is limping and in pain. Update: 5 weeks after this review, which I left after going with a friend to this vet, my friend told me the owner refused to refill her other dogs prescription because of this bad review.
I left a message about needing an appointment and I received a return call within 15mins. I was told there had just been a cancelation 4 that day. I happened to be off and was able to except the appointment. I appreciated the quick call return and being able to get in.
Ive been going here for about 10 years. Theyve always treated me and my pets as family and always took the time to explain both the medical and financial aspects of each visit. Ive come in for ERs and with feral cats from my office area including my own pets. Always great care, we love them!
Thought I could like this place but I guess I’m wrong. My cat recently had an exam because of concern with build up in her ears. 2 weeks later I wanted her thyroid checked because of symptoms I was seeing at home... they quoted $64 for the test and $58 for exam... I argued that she had just recently been examined so they came back with it just costing the test fee then.I stayed for the results because if she was positive I was wanting to go ahead and get on meds. She turned out negative but the doctor came in to give the results and RECHECK her ears (which I’ll admit I had still expressed concern over). My bill upon leaving was $113... $64 for test and $49 for RE-check. A full exam is $58Quite sneaky... and I could’ve had the test and FULL exam done at Twinbrook for $95 total. I had called around for quotes before deciding to use the vet that was already somewhat familiar with my cat...Side note: I was told that the recheck could range $27-$49 depending on how long it took and what the vet “wanted” to charge. Silly me, I didn’t think the lower end of the price range was for 1 minute and the upper end for 5 minutes because that’s about all the time the doctor spent with us. And I guess it didn’t matter that we were on time for our appointment but not even taken back to draw blood until 20 minutes after our scheduled time.We won’t be back.
I was in the waiting room of Glenwood and observing the staff and found myself unimpressed . While watching them I felt as though they were not caringppl . At that point I realized like attracts like and I googled another vet . My baby Morty had a fever and I was desperate but not that desperate to stay and just accept less than... so I googled another vet and was on the phone with them while I exited ! The Erie animal hospital staff were caring and responded with concern whilst I was in the waiting area and greeted others pets like normal caring ppl you see on the streets which makes Glenwood look uncaring even more and that I made the right move considering the pressure of my baby being in pain and very sick !!! Plus since my visit they have called everyday to see if Mortys fever has gone down , Im sure they dont make money doing that ! Glenwood has all the bells and whistles which makes one wonder about what they are making up for ... I know Ive been there. Im from the west coast and I get that you ppl out here find us very particular and yes we are because we expect a much better standard of living for ourselves and our pets. Just because a place presents itself aesthetically pleasing doesnt infer better quality of service we get that on the west coast because we are masters of illusion (Hollywood, hello) that is the reason I am writing this review so you will wake you and desire a truly better standard of living as well !
TERRIBLE PLACE. The front staff carries on their personal conversations and ignored clients. MY MOTHERS DOG APPARENTLY SHOWED A HEART WORM POSITIVE ON HER TEST!! THEY JUST RAN ANOTHER BUT WHICH TURNED OUT NEGATIVE BUT THEY NEVER EVEN TOLD HER THEY RAN IT TWICE!!!!!!!!!! The only reason we found out is when our new, actually intelligent vet mentioned it!! He told us we could retest if we wanted to feel comfort seeing the test and results done in front of us (you people took our poor dog away from us so how do we even know you looked at the right test from the right animal). He even suggested a test that tested for tick stuff too!!! This place is not worth the stupid high cost. STAY AWAY
I go to GPH because its close to my home and I can usually get an appointment quickly. My dog saw Dr. Felix during his most recent visit during which he had his teeth and gums examined. My only complaint is that Dr. Felix didnt examine the rest of him, assuming that his only problem was what I said it was. He did blood work to check for sugar levels and whatnot, which should be done prior to having oral surgery. He answered all of my questions and was very nice and understanding. He gave my dog antibiotics that he would need to be on for a week and asked me to schedule his surgery within the next 5 days. The visit cost me $100. The girl that scheduled the surgery and checked me out to leave mustve done so incorrectly because when my husband dropped our dog off for his surgery, which was 4 days later, they didnt have him on the schedule, had no clue who my husband was, and didnt know who my dog was. They did take him for surgery, though. I was told that I could call after 3:30. When I did, the girl I spoke to assumed that someone had already called me, which was not the case. She told me that they would prefer that I leave my dog there until the next day, but that I could pick him up if I preferred. When she told me that there wouldnt be anyone in the building from 7:30 on, I told her that I would be there to get him before they closed. I didnt want him there all night unattended after he just had surgery that he was anesthetized for and he had some bleeding. Someone needed to monitor him, I thought. When I got there to pick him up, the person I spoke with told me that the doctor wanted to keep him overnight, asked who I spoke with earlier, and told me that person should never have told me that he could be picked up, didnt know that I was coming to get him, and asked if I had a few minutes to wait and speak to the doctor. While I was waiting, there was one girl who kept asking the girl that I spoke with where things went and what things were. She must have done so more than 20 times, and Im wondering if she was who I spoke with early. I would hope that they wouldnt let her answer the phone and respond to questions about animals that just had surgery (but who knows). More than 30 minutes later after about 10 more pets had come in to the waiting area, she told me that the doctor said my dog could come home and that someone would bring him out, which a girl did. She handed him to me and I was more or less on my way. I never got to speak with the vet, as I had asked and chosen to do after waiting close to an hour. I wasnt given any kind of post-surgery instructions other than not to give him food/water until the following day, they did not call to see how he was doing, and I was not told that he would need a follow-up. The surgery cost $257. When I asked at my first visit how much it would be, the girl (that scheduled my dog for the wrong date) said it would be $170 - $270, depending on extractions and whatnot, but that people rarely leave paying near the $270 range - comical! When my dog had the same kind of surgery two years ago at Union City Pet Hospital, I paid less than half of what I paid for this visit and it was for the same number of extractions. I was able to pick my dog up the same night, meet with Dr. Chapman, receive written post-surgical instructions, follow up with him the next day when he called and the following week during a scheduled follow-up visit.I suppose that a veterinary clinic is what you (the people that run it) make of it. I find that the vets at the clinic are hit and miss. Sometimes I get a good one, other times Im not as lucky. The staff may seem friendly enough, but I think theyre overworked and under trained. The waiting area is usually busy when Im there, and its sometimes difficult to find a seat even though the room is somewhat large. The prices that they charge are pricey, in my opinion.I think that I could find quality care elsewhere at a less expensive price. So why dont you do that, you ask? I probably will!
Took my Gracie to see them she was not eating and did not eat for 2 days the doctors and vet staff really took great care of my cat and everything they did to help her eat and have bowel movements did the trick will always take Gracie to them and recommend all my friends take there fur baby to them if there were more than 5 stars I give them more if I could
I had brought my guinea pig into the vet, due to him being really sick, and not eating and lost weight, and breathing funny. He was literally sitting there suffering in the room with me and my boyfriend, while the vet took forever to come in the room to help him. It was sad honestly seeing him suffer. And then a while into it, the vet finally decides to show up, and a little after that, his heart stopped and he died. I am so sad and grieving over it. I got a burial box and he is buried in my yard. I blame the vet, because he couldve easily been saved. My guinea pig wouldve been alive today, if the vet wouldve came right away. Knowing he was an emergency pet. Never coming back.
I love this place, number one, it’s clean. Number 2, the people here are super nice, and 3, they actually care about your animal and talk you through the medication and process. I love how they understand what the clients are going through at the same time. I would rate this 100 stars if I could!!!
Disappointed. Have a cat with Megacolon. The vet wanted to either put her to sleep or spend $400 to $500 on cleaning out her colon. He was not caring at all. This had been our family pet hospital for years. Erie Animal Hospital helped Chloe and she is just fine now..without a huge bill.
I have a three month old puppy with parvo and payed them for the medicine and called back and they told me they can not give me any further answers to my dogs health because there was a problem with our payment but handed them cash very rude and ignorent to my dog and its all about the money with them and not about our dogs health very dissatisfied and unhappy with this hospital they should be ashamed of them selfs
After multiple trips back and fourth with our dog they told us we had no options left and to have him put down. After taking him to another vet he’s coming home tomorrow, full recovery. If you wanna take your pet to a money hungry facility with people who have no compassion Glenwood Pet Hospital is the place to go!
Ive tried a few vets and have either been over charged, didnt receive services I asked for, or would be charged for things I didnt ask for. Each time I go to Glenwood it is a clean environment, friendly people, fair and honest prices, and the vets take the time to actually talk with you and work you through any questions you might have.

2022-05-08I’m so thankful to have found Glenwood. Kirsten & Ashley have to be the best groomers I have ever met. My malshi Cooper couldn’t get groomed anywhere without complete sedation. Now I don’t have to worry about side effects on an 11 pound pup being put to sleep. These ladies have so much patience and truly care for your animals. The entire staff is welcoming and professional.

2022-05-03We recently switched to Glenwood, and it was the best decision we’ve made for our pets. The staff is great, and Dr. Weaver is awesome! The communication is wonderful, and the facility really is top notch. Very reasonable, and very compassionate. I would highly recommend anyone in need of vet care to call Glenwood!

2022-04-25I was in Erie for the week pet sitting and had my dog with me. He’s a 14.5 yr old chihuahua and started not feeling well. They got me in very quickly and Dr. Jewell was so kind and compassionate. The entire staff was just amazing, especially the sweet vet techs. I had to take him 3 times and they were just wonderful. Would highly recommend to anyone with pets.

2022-06-09Glenwood truly is the best vet office! They accommodated me so quickly knowing my dog was in an emergency situation. All I wanted was a second opinion, now I have a new permanent office for my dog. They quickly gave me far better information then her previous vet. They have been keeping me informed and they have been helping me every step of the way. I am so appreciative that even though my dog has a sad diagnosis, she now has a team of people in her corner to help her every step of the way.

2022-04-30Dr. Weaver and the team at Glenwood have been amazing to treat our dog, they took the time to explain the treatment plan and truly care about whats best for him. The prices are very reasonable and I highly recommend them for veterinary services.

2022-07-03I have been bringing my pets to GPH for 40 years and my family for years before that. My cats get their initial shots and check ups when young or when we rescue them. All my cats spayed and neutered . My many cats then live a happy , long and pampered lives with little to no outdoor activity. With two recent calls to get my 15 year old cat suffering from a mouth issue in to be seen I was informed that in spite of years of patronage GPH policy has categorized me as a new client so am not eligible for a sick pet visitI could pay $125 and go to the emergency clinic or wait more than two weeks to bring in my catTime to fine a vet who cares10 days later: Did find a new Vet my pet would be dead now if I had waited for GPH

2020-10-27Ive been going to Glenwood Pet Hospital for about 15 years. They have taken care of 4 of my dogs and 2 of my cats. They have been there through the good parts of being a pet parent and the not so good. They will give you the best advice and give you support if you have to make a tough decision. I havent met a staff member that didnt have a passion for helping animals. And with the change in how they operate due to COVID, they still function extremely well. Easy check in & out. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend and take all of my present and future furbabies here. Its a class act!
