Hampton Inn & Suites PhiladelphiaBensalem in Bensalem
I used the Hampton Inn banquet room to celebrate the arrival of my sons first baby. I had the privilege to work with Erin McPhillips, Hampton Inn’s general manager. She was an absolute pleasure, making sure our every need was met. She is the true example of customer service at its finest. The Hampton Inn will always be my top choice when it comes to celebrations!
The front desk girl who helped us, her name is Erin, she should be promoted and the owners right hand person...friendly, personable, genuinely cared about me and my moms last minute need to find a room in the area, knowledgable...I could go on...definitely want to thank her for making whatbcould have been a horrendous experience, pleasant❤️
Nice, clean rooms. Located just off Street Rd in Bensalem near the Parx Casino. No restaurant on-site. VERY pricey the weekend I stayed (room price almost doubled, on Saturday night, from the weekday price). And they tack on charges they dont tell you about (Oh that extra $25? Yeah, we charge you, UPFRONT, for incidentals you MIGHT order). Shady business practices if you ask me. VERY disappointed in Hilton and unlikely to return to this Hilton property.
Positive: Wonderful breakfast. Clean room and pleasant staff. Negative: Pillows were so incredibly flat. All 3 adults used 2 pillows for support and were still uncomfortable. This was the only negative but it meant poor sleep which was a big downer for all of us to not sleep well while on vacation.
I was pleasantly told; thank you for staying with us. Here are 2 complimentary bottles of water. Your wifi password is xxx. We serve breakfast 6 to 10. We do reserve a $$ on your card if you need anything from our sweet bar. Hope you have a pleasant stay and a great New Year. ...took my breath away.😃. Compared to another hotel closest to Parx Casino OMG. The staff there were rude & unprofessional. Very horrible experience. The Hampton has always been my favorite place to stay.
We love this chain of Hotel. The hotel is spotless and the staff are always nice and kind. The rooms are big & clean, the beds are big & comfortable with beautiful white sheets.Breakfasts are always fresh and delicious with fruit, yogurt, Waffles, Cereal Hard boiled eggs / scrambled eggs, cakes & muffins.
Room was very clean, and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was high quality, and lots of choices! The first day there was sausage, and the second day they switched to bacon and french toast pieces - it was great that they didnt just serve the same thing every day. Great hotel and we will go back if we stay in the area again.
Positive: Great staff Negative: Thete wad a ¿stink¿ fly in the room. Does this present a safety- bacteria issue? This is was very upsetting to me. I don¿t know if I will return to this hotel. curtains broken I am currently at the Hilton in Woodcliff Lake Nj. It is the b
OK but not great. We reserved a suite but somehow when I called to extend our stay they forgot to tell me that we were downgraded to a small room....way to small and uncomfortable for 3 people. I have to say that at the front desk they tried to help as much as they could and we were given the suite (which was just one room slightly larger than the first) for the last two days of our stay.Another issue that we had was that in the four days/nights we stay in the hotel, not once did the cleaning crew come to clean our room and give us new linens/towels.The breakfast was an average motel breakfast and was opened until 10:00, however, at 9 they were already out of milk and out of coffee and out of Bagels....and no one was there to ask for assistance. All in all, the hotel was clean, people were very nice and the pool was not cold and made for fun family time.
Recently stayed at this hotel for a wedding in the area. My experience began when I entered the hotel to check in. The front desk staff and manager were the friendliest Ive ever met at any hotel. The hotel was VERY CLEAN; my room was as well and my bed was very comfortable. I was tempted to stay another night just because....
My family and I always stay at the Bensalem Hampton Inn & Suites when visiting this area. We consistently received excellent service and the staff always goes out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we have never experienced any noise issues in the years we have been staying here. Breakfast is always plentiful and delicious and the dinning area kept clean. The breakfast staff is always cheerful and ready to make sure you have what you need. We used the fitness center this trip and found it to be spacious with plenty of equipment and room to exercise. This is our Go-To hotel when were visiting Bensalem.
So I chose the Hampton because theyre known got clean Hotels and comfy beds but man this time it was different. My back is in such a knot right now as I lay in this cardboard bed. I would probably feel a little better if I could take a hot shower but the shower is warm....not HOT but warm at the highest setting. They say they gave the room an extra cleaning because of covid but I doubt it because its dust everywhere and dirt on the side of the tub like the cleaning lady never wipes it down. The linen was so hard and scratchy like they never usefabric softener. I had to listen to some ones kid racing around the halls at about 930 and to top it off the pool was cold too not even Lukewarm like the shower but COLD! Not to mention I booked direct and paid full price for this room. One more thing I was put in a room with some big wall in front of my window that made it sound like someone was drying sneakers in the machine half the night.
The main reason why I chose this Hotel is because I was assured that we would have “private” access to the pool for 1.5 hours and that was not the case. I called 2 times before booking and was given the same information both times before booking. I was told that each room may sign up for the pool for only 1.5 hours PRIVATELY, and no other room or guests, IF available. I then booked and paid for 2 nights and asked if I can reserve the pool hours but was then told it has to be done in person at the time of check in. Again, I asked if it was private and was assured that IF available I can reserve the pool for my family ONLY and NO other room or company for my dates. I called again for an early check in so that I can get there early and reserve the pool. Got there early and was told something completely different. At the time of check in, I was now told that there can be a maximum of 4 rooms in the pool at the SAME TIME! I picked a time that had no company or other rooms but once we came down there was already over 10 people at the pool. We went in for a little an left Bc we felt completely uncomfortable and unsafe. People we not using social distancing guidelines and older bigger kids kept bumping into my little kids and myself, by mistake a few times. There are other places that I know for sure are having actual PRIVATE pool access and I should have went with them instead. I was lied to and feel taken advantage of. Additionally, one of my kids had an accident in the bed so I called to ask if I can get new sheets and the foam mattress protector that the king size bed had. I was given most of the correct materials and I really disinterested mind changing them myself, which I did, but I noticed that the foam protector was twin size, which I what we needed the most. I called to tell them if they may please exchange the twin size for the correct size king but they never came and never exchanged. Left early the next morning in disappointment, should have went with the other place.
Positive: The free breakfast was excellent. Negative: The pool was overcrowded, especially with the surge in COVID-19. Overall, the guest masking policy was unclear. The amount of traffic noise coming from Street Road was higher than I expected. More soundproofing is needed for that side of the hotel.
Front desk was efficient and friendly. Breakfast in the morning was good with a decent amount of options. My only complaints have been guest related. On my first night, I was jarred awake at 2 AM by a toddler (and parent) running up and down the hall about 5 times. The next night was a strong pot odor in the hall and my third night was the headboard banging on my wall at 4 AM for about an hour.Nothing the hotel did wrong, just inconsiderate guests. Needless to say, Ive been tired all week.
We got married at celebrations bensalem and we stayed at the Hampton Inn 10/13/21 - 10/15/21 let me tell you Alison Weinstein made sure everything went well!!! She helped me out from starting to finish . we had family come in from all over the world and she made sure we were OK every single day!! Of course being a bride is stressful and making sure everything goes well by the staff at the Hampton was such a blessing!!! Thank you for everything you did for us!! Book your next stay with the Hampton Inn bensalem thanks again!!! Breakfast was also a plus and a nice size pool for kids!
Nice big room and good breakfast but the pool was opaque & smelled super strongly of chlorine, and I asked front desk if the jets can be turned on so the water can circulate and they said that the water does circulate I don’t know how if the Jets arent on with still water, it’s almost like if they didn’t want anyone to get in! Won’t be coming back again cause of the pool disappointment but they should work on that!
We had our wedding block at the Hampton Inn Bensalem in September 2020. Rooms were very clean, making everyone feel very comfortable. They were so accommodating to our large wedding group. We utilized a meeting room after the wedding where guests had an amazing time continuing the fun. The hotel staff handed out our welcome bags that we provided, without any issue. They were very organized and communication was wonderful, even through Covid times. We are so happy we chose this hotel for our wedding!
I must say, I stay with this hotel often due to project necessities, I often see Loretta in the morning and evenings surprisingly enough, She is always pleasant and incredibly helpful whether an internet issue or just some towels for my guys. She knows the area regarding restaurants and grocery and It’s always a pleasant experience when I deal with her as an agent. I’ve been traveling for many years as a contractor and I rarely deal with such wonderful people.
Im one to keep buget as my top priority for the hotel selection. If Im traveling solo for work or pleasure Ill stay at a one star hotels. However while traveling with family, I aim for 2-3 stars. With Holiday Inns usually being my go to. This Hampton Inn was roughly $30-50 more per night then a competitive 2-3 star hotel. However they treated you asnfily. Made you feel welcomed. I called around for a indoor pool and most hotels were closed because of cov-19 and this one stayed open. This was top priority for staying with the Hampton. And the food was decent. Decent amount to choose from. I asked the clerk if bacon would be available at all this week and the day it was they made sure to make sure I knew. Treated my kids very welcoming and was extremely kind. Overall for the price, I would pay the difference for the pool and the breakfast again.I would recommend adding a clock to the pool room. Easy to get lost track of time. Specially if you sneak in for a quick swim prior to going somewhere. The hotel app can be a little confusing for me to use. And the wife smelled a strong odor of pot the one night. Which isnt the hotel fought. And eacht here own. Just rather not having my kids breath that in. Overall great experience. Would recommend.
After a rough day and some misunderstanding/miscommunication, the folks here (Ira especially) were nothing but friendly and understanding.I was not my best self as my frustration was with the staff who happily accepted some requests when I booked over a month ago, and then an updated request 2 weeks ago. Early check-in, a fan (white noise), and a crib so it wasn’t anything “wild”. All of which were “no problem!” at the time of the request. Until of course when we get here and those were not true. They did find a pack and play for a crib, but I’d mention to others that they only have 1-2 (especially those of you going to Sesame Place with kids), none with an infant insert, so be prepared.I know we have been less than ideal guests, and the staff when I checked in were wonderful. Thank you again Ira for listening to me complain. You’re a rockstar sir.To the young lady who took my special requests back on June 13th, I wish you were transparent with me so I could have been more prepared. To the dude who I spoke to at 6:30am on June 26th, why didn’t you just say no early check-in today instead of having me call back at 8am? It was a 4 hour drive with 2 kids that are 2yrs old and younger, wasn’t too happy. To the “corporate” customer service person I spoke to on June 26th about the hotel not communicating no early checkin, 0/10, least helpful/empathetic person in customer service I’ve ever met (I wasn’t even rude or “Karen-y”). To the guy who took my call(s) at 8:30a-9. My bad, I’m sorry if my frustration became rudeness. I know you hung up on me after asking the name on the reservation, can’t blame you.TL;DR- I suck. The hotel staff working at around 6pm on June 26th, Ira being one of them, were 10/10. 6:30am guy and corporate rep, why?!?
Overall the hotel exceeded my expectations, Im traditionally a Marriott loyalist who very rarely visits Hilton properties for personal travel, but based upon my familys needs this location was the most ideal.RoomThe room was clean and modern, the bathroom was spacious, my only concern is the slickness of the floor tile in the bathroom, I almost slipped in the bathroom. The mattresses were impressive, almost looking new.FoodThe breakfast, which was included, was organized, clean and the dining area was spacious, the selection ranged from the savory to healthy, satisfying my familys needs.StaffThe staff was really friendly and able to check-in my family and I quickly and without issue.Bottom LineI would stay here again when in the areaPro TipPack your own bottled waterBring your own soapPack Lotion
Rooms were very standard, two queen beds. They were a little rickety though. Everything was clean and room service was fine, though they did not replace our cups for hot beverages. Breakfast was served 6a to 10a. Good spread, had enough options (no potatoes today). Hotel staff and front desk was very friendly. Overall a good stay so far.
The room was very nice which our room was over the main entrance. Our room was 214. All night we heard the doors opening & closing. And over our room the young kids were either jumping off the bed and making so much noise. It was awful. WE Checked in and we wanted to rest a little after the long ride but we couldnt because of the kids up over our room & the door opening & closing. We couldnt sleep all night because there were people coming in the Hampton Inn all hours of the night. When we were leaving I told the clerk and she said people always complain about that room. So she gave us some points. But other than that we Love staying there. Rooms are so clean & the staff is very nice. Also they have a complimentary Breakfast which was very good.
We used Hampton Inn & Suites Philadelphia/Bensalem as one of our hotels we blocked for our wedding (July 15, 2021 wedding date). We also used one of their rooms and services to host our welcoming party the night before the wedding. They did a fantastic job serving everyone....from the bar (shoutout to the bartender from that night as the people loved him!) to the food buffet, Hampton Inn really made this event successful for us. My mom and I would like to give a huge shoutout to Allie who works there and guided my mom throughout the past 2 years of planning all of this (my wedding had to get postpone not once but twice due to the pandemic). She really was so kind and reassuring to us, and made this a very smooth process. If youre having your wedding (or any event) around the Bensalem area, please use them for your stay!!!!
This place was extremely pleasant. We attended a nearby event with our kids, and I was a bit nervous about how the night would go. The staff was welcoming, and was able to give us mini cribs (essentially pack and plays) for the kids. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. They also had coffee available 24/7, which helped a lot. Finally, the breakfast was great! Id highly recommend staying here if you have something nearby. Had a real positive experience.
Stayed here to attend a wedding in the local area. The room was standard with a king size bed. It was very clean and nicely styled. Included in the room was a microwave, refrigerator, and a safe. It had a large shower with sliding glass doors, which was nice. Just be aware that there is no tub if you need it for kids. Check in and out was very quick with a pleasant staff. The free breakfast was better than the standard continental style with eggs, breakfast sausage, potatoes, and make your own waffles. Overall, the stay was very good and above average.
I love that they use sustainable and compostable plates and cups here! I was pleasantly surprised! My room was very clean and the staff were friendly. This is my preferred hotel for the area for sure. Breakfast had a few hot proteins, cereal, baked goods, fresh fruit, smoothies, yogurt, and oatmeal. I was happy with the variety and my only complaint is I wish there had been some vegetables. Some sauteed peppers would have been the perfect addition.
Let me start by saying we booked this hotel because of the indoor pool...we were disappointed when we heard that it was closed for maintenance and discussed changing hotels. Changing would have been our 3rd hotel switch and I just didn’t want to deal with it, so we decided to keep our reservation. I am so glad we did! After an exhausting day of cheer, the front desk attendant Baby was beyond amazing. I asked about shuttle service, no hesitation she said sure...changed our minds and got delivery, she gave us plates, forks and whatever else we needed. She is a large part of why we will come back year after year to stay for competition weekend. The hotel was clean, had a great hot breakfast and extremely friendly staff. Thank you Baby for making our stay quite enjoyable just by being kind and caring.
Nice hotel and quieter location. We stayed here for a wedding and was very happy with our choice. The hotel was clean and more renovated than others. The free, full buffet style breakfast was also very good. Even the breakfast and lobby seating areas were warm and welcoming. Some of the other hotels in the area are noisy and run down. This Hampton is a great choice and we would definitely stay here again.
It was a quiet, peaceful location. Several restaurants nearby along the Street Rd. corridor. Unfortunately on Monday morning the fire alarms went off and everyone had to leave their hotel rooms until the firemen checked out the source of the alarm which was coming from the pool room. This was in December 2018, and because my granddaughters and I had just gone down for the free breakfast, we didnt have coats on, nor did I have my handbag which had the keys to my car in it, so we had to stay in the vestibule until all was clear for us to go back inside. Needless to say we were pretty cold. But all ended well and the hotel treated us graciously for the inconvenience.
My wife and I spent a week here over Christmas. The staff were wonderful and the rooms were very clean and well furnished.I ended up only using the breakfast area twice, but both times the food was fresh and there was plenty to eat.We would definitely use this hotel on our next visit.Didnt notice any road noise while we were in our room during our stay.Easy to use climate control system and it worked well.
Erin has been my point of contact whenever I stay. Typically I’m on a night shift schedule and when I call to the front desk in the evening I’m always greeted with a pleasant disposition. One specific instance I forgot a razor and shaving cream, I was willing to come down to get it but she insisted she deliver it to my door so I could have some R&R. I recommend this hotel whether business or vacation!
I was here attending an event with my family over the weekend. The clerks at the front desk were very warm and friendly, immediately pointing us to the room our event was in. I have noticed other hotels do not take adequate care of their event rooms, but this one was impeccable. Everything was very clean and neat. The chairs were nice and well maintained too. I would definitely recommend this place to any planners looking to book a venue.
Adequate but my stay wasnt extraordinary. Professional and friendly staff. Room was clean and quiet, and no odors; pleasantly neutral smell. Beds were on the uncomfortable side, but what hotel bed can ever match home? Pool was a hit with the girls, and judging from the chlorine fumes in the room, water was clean and clear. Breakfast was just so-so. On the day we were there, the oven had a malfunction so hot food other than waffles wasnt an option. I was hearing mixed reviews from other guests about what was there and being served, so we opted to eat elsewhere.
Went back again this year to give them another chance. Everything was just fine.---Older review. Not good. There was inadequate seating for breakfast, but worse was the customer service. Our room was not made, even after asking at the desk in the early afternoon when it hadnt been done earlier.Staff was friendly, but inattentive.Update: it would appear that the issue lies with the cleaning staff, not the front desk. The front desk relayed our concerns to housekeeping, but they dropped the ball.
First night we got there the pool over flower, and I told the front desk. The water was all in the hall way . The front desk guy was mean and didnt even call us to tell us it was fixed ,so we lost so much time from our session from their fault The breakfast was a joke didnt have anything left at 9am !
Hotel is nice and clean, my room was very spacious. My only complaint was it was a little warm and the thermostat wasnt working, come to find out you have to adjust the thermostat on the wall AND the one in the A.C. unit. Other than that the staff was great and very friendly.
Just returned from the Hampton inn - the trip which included my wife and two sons. The hotel was absolutely a 10++++. The room was spacious, clean and the staff was very friendly. I just want to give a special shoutout to James Anderson who cooked an amazing breakfast!!!!! We loved it! He was so nice to my family and a great sense of humor! Thanks James - you are definitely a great asset to the Hampton Inn😀😀😀😀😀
Lovely hotel. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Clean rooms and those beds are so comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Just having to go downstairs and it was right there. Location of the hotel is wonderful. Right down the street from the parx casino. Staff didnt blink when we asked them to call for a cab for us. They got right on it. Would stay there again next time we are in town. Thank you for a lovely stay.
We frequently stay at Hampton Inns and love their service, and that is why I am disappointed writing this review. The staff were not as courteous as we usually have experienced at the other hotels. To add, the beds and pillows were not very comfortable. Also, we were placed right above a laundry room, so during certain hours in the day our floor would vibrate with a humming sound. But, the most disappointing part of the stay was our last breakfast. Usually, the kitchen staff informs all the folks having their breakfast that they will be closing in a few and can sneak into the breakfast area to grab something quickly before closing. I was with my kids at the time but they didnt have the courtesy to inform us that they were closing. On top of that, when I went into the breakfast area to throw some trash before the doors closed, a few of the employees grabbing breakfast were not so warm and friendly about it.This is what tainted the entire experience. The beds and pillows are not a big deal, but the lack of courtesy leaves a negative mark for this hotel. Ive stayed at plenty of Hampton Inn chains in PA, but I regret staying at this hotel due to the lack of courtesy. The tiniest touch of courtesy and friendliness goes a long way with the stay. Something, a few of the folks here should improve upon.
Absolutely beautiful place to spend weekend. We loved the room. And the reception staff was so helpful and nice. Room was very clean and smelled great. The linen was clean and plenty. We also loved the morning breakfast and the pool. Loved all the amenities. Great choice.
It was wonderful. Had a mishap while checking in and it was immediately rectified!! We enjoyed yourself so much we will be returning soon for another visit!! The staff at the front desk was amazing especially Andre who checked us in!!! I would definately recommend this hotel a million percent!!! We were sad to be leaving so soon!!
Wonderful friendly staff. Very accommodatingAnd helpful during my familys stay. Over 60 rooms occupied and 200 people. We were always greeted with a smile and kind words from all staff members. I found staff members such as Icy, Angela, Baby Leena and Louis to be an example of true professionalism. THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF MEMBERS WHO WORKED AND PUT UP WITH OUR GROUP. You helped to make the White Family Reunion of 2018 a success.😍🤗
Rooms are nice, but what kind of crap hotel has no self service laundry? How do they plan to accommodate guests that stay for more than a week? The Hampton in Yardley has coin laundry as do a few dozen other hotels in the area that I have stayed at in the last 7 years. I tried this place because it is newer, but I will be taking my business back to the Residence Inn Langhourne. Beds there are nicer as well.General staff personal are nice, but not knowledgeable at all. Management could care less. Normally they would come out and talk with a diamond member there on a corporate contract. Not here. They just talk through someone that has never even worked at a hotel before. If your coming in for a day or two this place is fine. However I highly recommend against this hotel for long trips or family stays. I am just thankful my wife and kids were not here on this trip. I would have had to switch hotels mid-stay.Lastly - The entrance is fronted with a well known cougar night club. Hurray. You have to drive by it to get to this hotel that is behind the place.
Pretty friendly staff, located right off the turnpike and route one, so very convenient. There is a 24 hour Wawa within walking distance. The rooms are clean, and the rate for a nice suite was remarkably low. Comfortable lobby area, with nice granite center table formation which supported our large party well into the night.
The staff. Great personalities, each one that we interacted with. Front desk, food services (James Anderson), who is awesome; hope he is recognized for his people skills and management of food services which was excellent for the amount of folks using the breakfast bar on the weekends. What we were disappointed with is the lack of sound proofing of rooms. Mgt had the housekeeping vacuuming and moving furniture above our floor at 7 30pm which sounded like they were coming thru the ceiling. If we were not feeling well, the amount of time spent cleaning at this hour would have added to any discomfort. Not a well-planned structure with adequate sound proofing. Groups staying on the weekend is noising up and down the halls. Dont look for a restful night stay if this hotel is accompany weddings, or special events.
Weve been staying at this hotel for close to 5 years now every Feb / March for our annual banquet we have just up the street (Mid Atlantic .90). The staff is friendly, rooms are nice, a nice lobby for all of us to hang out before / after the banquet to mingle and the breakfast is very good also.
After we left home, my husband received a phone call that our room was no longer available. Please note that we were already on the road at this time. Something with the wiring, so the room was no longer available. They booked at as another hotel across the street free of charge, while apologizing over and over and over. My husband and I were very annoyed, especially with the last minute phone call, but there was nothing we could do at that point. Halfway there and we receive another phone call that a room was found, not a suite like we had booked, but available and cheaper. Now we are here and I am beyond disgusted with the room they put us in!!!! The rugs are dirty, the furniture is dusty, and there are no dressers. I have never been to a hotel room with no dressers. I am extremely angry because our original room was a nicer room. I will be writing a letter to headquarters explaining in more detail the lack of professionalism. I cannot even put into words how disgusted and angry I am over this. No stars from me, and I will also make sure people know just how awful and unprofessional this hotel is.
The first impression of the hotel was negative. There is no easy way to access the hotel from the main road and at night (when I arrived) it was difficult to find. The road leading in is also windy and dark. The cleanliness of the hotel made up for all of that in spades. My interactions there were also top notch.
The lady at the front desk was a gem. I forget her name. We were there to see my sister, and she was a gem to direct where she was. Due to her short visit. We got the opportunity to see her. My Dad whos wheelchair bound got to see his daughter after several months. It was nice. Thank you. If someone needs a place to stay. Ill reccomend your place for sure.
The staff was very polite A wonderful lady named Baby helped us check in she was so pleasant and helpful honestly she made my stay very comfortable she went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our room , and our over all stay . Our room was super clean and everything I needed was there I will definitely be coming back again I really enjoyed my stay.
Arrived early (8:00am) Thursday March 29th. Icy the front desk person found me a room and let me check in early. Very clean, comfortable beds, nice pool, and close to many restaurants and also close to Parks Casino. Thank you again Icy. Would definitely stay here again.
I was looking forward to staying here at the Hampton Inn but upon checking in informed that there was a wedding 🎩 party on the 2nd floor, the same floor I was on. I asked to be changed to the forth floor and as the women at the desk changed my room I said now Im wondering if Im staying in the wrong hotel she said no sir its just a wedding 👰 party 🎉 !!!After moving to the 4th and checking out the room I realized I was in the wrong hotel the noise from the wedding party was really loud so I called the front desk and asked to be moved. The lady I spoke with gave me this BS story that they didnt have anymore rooms well one next to the kitchen the rest were suites. She told me if I wanted to sweep that there would be an up charge of $35.00 like the $114.00 I already paid wasnt enough. This isnt the Ritz Carlton this is a 3 star hotel !!!I told the lady to move me to The room near the kitchen room 126 she said just know that it gets a little noisy between the hours of 5 and 10 in the morning and that people have complained about the noise from the kitchen. At 5 AM in the morning I got woken up by a huge crash coming from the kitchen from 5 oclock on it was nothing but banging and loud noise and I about had it packed up my stuff and decided to leave. Its true you cant tell a book by its cover its kind of like this hotel it looks pretty on the outside its only two years old but the dirty little secrets are on the inside and you would have to stay here to find out what they are.I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel. The hotel looks modern until you look at the interior. The rooms are very plain and definitely not worth $114 a night. Do yourself a favor save a couple dollars and check in at the Marriott right down the road youll be glad you did and youll enjoy a peaceful night sleep instead of hearing a bunch of noise from wedding parties to witch this hotel caters to !!!!In the end I was pawned off by their manager with an apology and a $25 UNO gift card !!!
The only reason Im giving 1 star is because I had too in order to post my review. My mother and aunt stayed in this hotel this past weekend on a visit from another state. Saturday morning after their first night, they walked out to find that my mothers car had been hit in the parking lot over night. Pictures uploaded to this review. The car was parked directly in front of the hotel entrance under a street light. There was also a decoration of what looked and smelled like chocolate sauce covering the dent.We were in a rush so decided to speak with the manager when we returned. Later that afternoon we asked to speak w the manager, she came out and confirmed she had surveillance cameras, I showed her the pictures I had taken and offered to take her outside to see. She entertained us by coming outside to see where the car was parked, did not look at the actual damage but confirmed she saw the half full Starbucks cup on the curb next to the car which contained a chocolate drink of some kind. She then stated she didnt know if they had survellience for that side of the parking lot (which would be smack dab in the front of the hotel). I asked her to please check the cameras and call us, I provided her with my mothers phone number.Saturday night, Sunday, Monday and now Tuesday has gone by and we have not heard anything from their management group. Not even a call saying whether or not they found anything suspicious on the cameras. My mother got home Monday and took the car to be appraised by the insurance company. They confirmed that a large truck or SUV had to have hit the car and that the mirror was also broken in addition to the dents and scrapes.Whether or not this hotel management wanted to admit that they did or did not see anything on their survellience cameras is not even the point. The point is, for their rooms to be priced the way that they are, for their reputation to be as it is for a mediocre level hotel, you would at least expect the type of customer service that warrants a call to someone who has experienced such an inconvenience during a very expensive (now adding a deductable payment to pay) and stressful time of year, the Holidays. We will absolutely never stay in one of their hotels again, which is a shame because we have had great experiences in the past. However, customer service and good faith efforts have been completely lost for this particular chain it seems.
This is my second visit to Hamton Inn & Suites Philadelphia/Bensalem. My first visit was for my sons wedding two years ago. This clean beautiful hotel is my home away from home. From the .management to the room service staff,I have never seen a more friendly smiling staff.I can say that I am totally satisfied with the excellent service.I will be coming back especially for the sumptuous free continental breakfast.
The location of the hotel is about 35 minutes away from philadelphia. Our room was on the 4th floor. It was nice and clean. It had a very nice king size bed with a rollout couch. The tv and channel lineup was very nice. The bathroom had a very big shower, that had neutrogena stocked products. They have ample parking and free hot breakfast in the morning, but I didnt get a chance to tey it. Overall it was a very good stay and I would recommend it
Its a shame that I had to give this place such a low star rating. The place was wonderful, except that I reserved 8 rooms for a hockey team that they knew about. When we arrived they then stated it was not kid friendly. We asked kindly if we may have one of their conference rooms that was clearly available. The manager Brian Nocella...well let me tell you, what a piece of work. He lied to my face and would not help in any way possible. He was mean and just did not care one bit. He was even ready to let all 8 rooms go because it was the end of his shift so he wanted to leave. What a GREAT Manager huh! Well never again will we sign up there for another hockey event. Its a shame because everyone else there was amazing and caring! Boo to you Mr. Nocella...!!!
This place is the dumps! I’m sure only prostitution goes on here! Suite Rooms are tiny with old decor & smell of mildew! I knew something was wrong when I stepped in the elevator and it was filthy😒 furniture is ripped and smell of smoke the whole place reeks of mildew .... but front desk was very helpful
Stayed here when visiting Sesame Place with family. I travel often for business and have for years, primarily staying with the Hilton Chain. I would have to say this stay was one of my better experiences. Staff, speaking mostly of Baby, shes whom we dealt with most, Does her job very well.. Thank you!
Absolutely awesome service very well kept Hotel reasonable prices and great location definitely will stay here again enjoyed our time the indoor pool is a great temperature and everything went really well. Even though snacks and stuff that they built to the room or decently priced and not a huge markup like you would expect
2MBPS service in the room. Unacceptable even if free. I can stay at the Holiday Inn across the street for much cheaper than this property and get internet service that,is 10 time faster for free. I am surprised that when I logged in I did not hear the old school modem/AOL sound.....it is that slow. No one at front desk, ATT, or corporate could help. They want you to pay for the same speed that other hotels provide for free. Come on, this is 2019, technology is better than this. I expected more from a Hilton property and will never stay at another one again.
Clean rooms, staff very friendly and funny.Guests that were staying here for my daughters wedding, we had over 12 rooms booked, were supposed to get a gift bag. (Each guest not each room) My daughter got back about half the gift bags back. Some guests, when checked in, were not in the block of rooms set aside for the wedding. Some charged a different rate than others even though they gave the guest pass code.

2022-02-03My name is Erika and I recently stayed here for a week along with others from my family for a very sad occasion. The passing of my dear cousin. The staff from day one was top notch! They were supportive, attentive to our needs and assisted us greatly. We felt the love from everyone there. We thank you so much and even though it was a sad occasion, they made us feel at home and warm and like family . We thank you again. And it was wonderful rooms, very clean and love the housekeepers too. They were prompt and there for us too.

2022-03-26First time staying there and was there for a week. Room was very clean, linens were clean and smelled good. Front desk people were polite and quick. Our room came with a couch, which we didnt really want, but it ended up being very comfortable and a nice bonus since we ended up watching movies in our room. The bathroom is very nice: the shower stayed warm and its a good size so you dont feel cramped. We did not try the breakfast so I cant speak on that.i gave the location 4/5 because there is a lot of construction on Street Road so it can be confusing for people who arent familiar with the area. Otherwise the location is good because there are lots of places to go without driving too far.

2022-01-15Baby greeted us upon arrival to the hotel. She was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed regarding our stay. She even thanked us for being a Hilton honors member. Breakfast, amenities, and parking were great. Room couldve been cleaner but overall we had a great stay and would definitely return.

2022-04-24I have a huge complaint! My family and I stayed there on Thursday night. My kids love the pool. They enjoy it very much. I had called ahead and asked if the pool was open. They replied yes.. but what they failed to mention that the water was ice cold and unbearable to swim in. The lady at the front desk told me that the water heater had been broken for two months now! What unacceptable.I wanted to speak to the GM Erin but she never showed that Friday morning. We were so upset because my kids couldnt tolerate the freezing water. I am going to write a letter to the head offices about this. This is blasphemy.

2022-01-17Clean room, good breakfast, comfortable bed, nice to see full breakfast available. First floor room near mechanical closet was a little loud at times and woke us up a few times. Front desk attendant (Baby) was pleasant and warm.

2022-06-27Great customer service, clean, pool was not heated but we knew in advance due an email sent. We booked this place after we read not so good reviews on hotels directly near Sesame Place. Glad we did, worth the drive!

2022-05-23This hotel is always comfy when I stay. The upper floors seem more updated and a bit more comfortable. Im hoping they do some upgrades to the 1st floor rooms sometime soon as well. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
