Hersheypark in other cities:
Ended up coming here after my daughters cheer competition, and all I have to say is WOW! We had an amazing time there and this was the first amusement park my kids have been too. I wish we had more time to explore more and ride more of the rides 😪 😩. But we will definitely be making a personal trip back sometime this summer!
We had so much fun here! We went on a Thursday and stayed from open to close (11am-7pm). There was way to much to do in a single day. We only made it through to about 10 of the roller coasters and did a few small rides along the way. We took our kids (10, 12 & 13) and they loved it. The lines were not long enough that I felt like we needed a fast pass, but that might change later into summer? We enjoyed our food (chicken and a bucket of fries with cheese sauce). We did buy the souvenir cups and found it super easy to fill them up at all the quick-fill stations around the park. Souvenirs were a bit pricey, but nothing close to prices and Disney or Universal. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable when we did ask questions. We purchased the family picture deal also and ended up with some fun ride pictures. There is a cool feature that makes them into a PDF picture book that was really nice. Be aware… you have to have a staff member activate the picture pass if you buy it online. If we had more time on our vacation, we definitely would have gone back for a second day to do the water park side and see the zoo.
This was an amazing place to visit! It was slightly crowded (and 26°) but it didnt slow down the lines! We went on a ride that shows you how Hershey makes their chocolate 🍫. We made our own massive stuffed reeses that you get to add what you want to! The shopping is great, not only do they have all your favorite chocolates, in every size, t-shirts, pants socks, key chains, magnets, stuffed toys, the list goes on! 10/10 for kids, families and adults!
One word for Hershey Park; Awesome! If youre coming with your family especially if you have little kids, plan to tour the whole park in 3 days. Plus also plan to spend especially if you are traveling down to Hershey from wherever you reside. You really dont want to come and leave with the feeling that you missed something. And make sure you visit The Hershey Chocolate World!
While they note gluten free options on the park, that doesnt mean they will be open at any given time. I managed to have chicken tenders, fries, whoopie pie, and pretzel bites gluten free over the days I was there. They were decent. I was grateful to have them.In general, the park isnt as well organized as larger similar ones. The restrooms were scary, though most of the park was pretty clean. The staff were all responsive and kind.
Was excited to take my son who was in the area for a visit as he had not been on Candymonium and enjoys roller coasters. Yes, the lights are nice but if NONE of the coasters are open shouldn’t that information be shared before ticket is purchased. Fortunately I am a season pass holder so didn’t waste money on parking or my ticket but felt I had to keep apologizing because there was a 1 hr wait for only open adult ride and the lights were out on several sections of 12 days of Christmas around the park. I understand there are limitations with the temperature and rides but post closures at the gate or as a heading on the map. We just glanced at wait times on the map in general on the app. Did not open each ride to see if it was running. It would be more user friendly if the app had a closed ride heading. Disappointed!!Sweet lights drive through was worth the trip- interesting theme sections. Santa held a sign to count the Rudolf’s but never saw a number posted at the end. Search games like that would make it more fun for families.
Out of all the amusement parks Ive been to by far this has to be one of the best ones. The park is so clean. The rides are superb. The chocolate factory was fun. I would suggest 2 days if you wanna hit the water park as well. Trying to ride everything and wondering around will take a whole day by it self. The all day drink is well worth the price. The food were simple and of course a bit over the price but thats all parks. They did have a Subway and a Chick Fil A.
1. Standing and waiting are the biggest thing you need to do in the park. You will come here to wait for a Pepsi coke, a ride, a meal, and the restroom. Super bad feeling!!!2. If you ask if I recommend the Park, I would say no!!!!3. Dont buy all day meal on the website!!! You need to wait for a hour to get your meal!!! No one pays for your waiting time!!!!!4. If you have kids under 7, don’t buy all fast track pass!!!! They only accept fast track pass for the high thrill and aggressive thrill rides!!!!5. If you buy fast lane track, you also need to wait for a hour to redeem your wrist bank when you arrived.6. The regular rides are the same to a local Carnival, so it wont be worthy of driving a couple hours to visit.7. It has nothing to be compared to six flags and universal studio!!!!!8. You can find no one to ask a question. It will take you 20 min wait to talk to a guest service person.NEVER EVER GO TO HERSHeY PARK!!! Terrible terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!
Overall, our family had a really great day at Hershey. I highly recommend it overall. As a theme park enthusiast my ratings are focused on some pain points I experienced and witnessed other guests experiencing throughout the day.Feedback Areas1) Fast Pass Pickup: The cost was $95 per family member and chaotic for such a high price. The process to get a prepaid fast pass took ~30 to 40 min. There are both automated kiosks and a staff line, but no one directing/advising the guests. I heard several guests frustrated and having to wait in line twice because of a broken machine or because they did not prepay and couldnt purchase from the machines.2). Broken Soda Machines:. For ~$19 you can get a souvenir cup with free refills. Just scan the qr code, activate the soda machine, and get your refill. In theory... Most of the qr readers are broken and do not activate the machines. You can still get a refill but have to wait in a long food line.3) Overall attention to detail: Heavily themed Blue moon and Miller Lite bar sell neither Blue Moon or Miller Lite.4). Broken/Closed rides: I get it, rides break but we struggled to find a single coaster in the morning that was running. This was an unusually high number of key rides out of commission.Strengths1) Friendly staff2) Clean park
My family had a great time here. We were impressed by how friendly the staff was and how clean the park was. No one seemed to be bothered by any questions we asked and everyone and everyone was extremely accommodating. This was the 1st time we had ever been to Hershey park and we will definitely be going back.
Our first time visiting and we had a great time. Be prepared for long lines (like any theme park) but there was a lot of rides even for my daughter who was only kisses height. The height checker before going in is a must to plan which rides you can go on.Recommend getting there well before 11am to get parking and into the park first!
My Fiancé & I love this amusement park so much; it was our 4th time visiting last weekend. We enjoyed all of the water slides at the board walk.My only suggestion is I wish they can limit the daily tickets that way the park is not overcrowded, and the rides wait times will not be over an hour. So, everybody can enjoy the rides they would want to experience. And not feel like they just made it to two - three rides before the park closes.(Because not everybody can afford the fast pass. :))Overall Hershey Park is a great amusement park for all ages, fantastic roller coasters, Awesome water rides, (my favorite The Breaker Edge Water Coaster) This coaster water ride is superb giving its 10 stars. :) I will definitely, come back again and recommend it to my friends and family. Oh! also just for a FYI they are cashless friendly.
We’re frequent visitors to the park and it’s a must do every time we’re in town. The food trucks in the park are your best bet for good eats. The fast passes are extremely pricey, especially depending on which fast pass rides are open. But they are almost a necessity. The lines for the popular rides are painfully long as they let the fast pass holders in as they come and they never wait. So the plebs end up waiting even longer, 2+ hrs on some rides. That’s said, there’s a lot of fun to be had there.
Its ok. Lots of kids rides but only half were open. Waiting 30 minutes for a toddler ride isnt worth it to me. I heard the adult coasters were fun but again, only half of them were open. The zoo is kinda lame, but the animals were cute. The indoor exhibits were so crowded we couldnt see the animals or even where to look for the type of animals that were there. And for someone with food allergies, there are almost no safe desserts here. The only place with a milk alternative was Starbucks. I wanted a dairy free, nut free dessert. Their app said I could have dippin dots or sprinkles from an ice cream place. I mean, to not have non dairy ice cream or certified nut free chocolate here was incredibly disappointing. But I suppose in the end I saved a lot of money not buying any chocolate or ice cream.
We went to the Christmas Candylane and enjoyed our experience. The Noel synchronized light display was probably my favorite, although there were lots of pretty lights throughout the park. Riding the Ferris Wheel and Kissing Tower at night provided great views of the park lit up with lights. The one negative was the lines were longer than we expected, meaning we couldnt do all the rides that we were hoping for. When you leave, make sure to stop at Miltons Ice Cream Parlor for some delicious ice cream.
I’m a season pass holder, great perks, like VIP parking, food, and drinks bonuses. I come here multiple times a year, visit all the Hershey venues, and every time, it’s the best time ever! Love the coasters, and all of the thrill rides, Hershey Park I. The Dark, and Christmas are the best times to go in my opinion! Definitely recommend, but if you come on a Friday or Saturday be prepared for crowds!
Loved the whole idea of Hersey Park, but it was crazy! The amount of people that were there was way to much. It made it impossible to do very much at all. Lines were so long for everything. The food and drink package was a awesome touch. But it took a long time in a line to get anything. If you ever plan on coming here make a plan. Rent a cabana in the water park. Get the pass to get in early. Choose days during the week M-Thurs. Stay more then 1 day, you are going to need it. And makes sure you stay in a hotel that shuttles you to the park. This way you have a way better chance to really enjoy your experience.
Was a really fun day. Its no Disney or Universal, but Im biased being from Florida, lol. Although I will say that most rides are roller coasters, and most of my party dont like them. Also the animal enclosures in the zoo seem extremely small for the animals. Some of the birds look like their wingspan would barely fit in their small habitats. And there was cardboard trash left in one of the exhibits, I guess that contained the bugs they feed them with. But even so, trash is not natural to them and shouldnt be left there. All in all the zoo needs major updates and maybe add some slower-paced rides for all walks of life. Still fun to get away from home, and the Chocolatetown outside the park itself is a nice way to spend time.
Very fun. Highly recommend the zoo, aquarium show, the monorail, make your own chocolate bar, the smoke house for real good BBQ food, and the Fahrenheit and Laff ride. Really consider staying overnight because theres far too much to do. Dont leave the grandparents at home because there something for everyone. A little expensive, but if the weather is bad or rides are closed for a hour, or so, then you are entitled to a free voucher for an additional day! The park really is great, but the Hershey World in general is amazing.
Dont purchase a parking voucher here. I bought my tickets online and purchased a parking voucher as well since the website advertises parking vouchers purchased online as being cheaper than paying for parking physically when you get to the park. I followed the signs and staff directions for guest parking, and found out that parking was actually free. I asked for a refund and Guest Services wouldnt give me one, saying that in order to use my paid parking voucher, I actually had to drive further away from the park. I still have no idea how to get to this place because there are no signs pointing to it and staff in the parking lot told me to park in the free parking when I asked. Also, why would someone pay to park further from the park when there is free parking close to the park? I opened a credit card dispute for the parking voucher.Besides the parking voucher, the Hersheypark amusement park was very fun. Definitely recommend to get a Fastpass so youre not waiting in line most of the day. Some of the wooden rollercoasters are so bumpy that its actually painful and not fun, like Wild Cat and the Lightning and Thunder one. Lazy river is very shallow at a mere 2.5 feet and the wave pool looks small and sad. I got an unlimited drink voucher. The water tasted like rust so I got lemonade instead.
Had a great time for a first time visitor. Seeing a lot of reviews from this past weekend complaining about lines in the park, and I agree regarding crowd management, however it was Memorial Day Weekend. No surprise the park was packed. Some of the lines were too long and I never found an opportunity to ride two of the rides I was most looking forward to, Candymonium and Sky Rush. Sky rush ended up being closed part of the day and I didnt want to wait 3 hours for one ride. Plus, Fast passes on the holiday weekend cost over $100. Plan to buy these if youre going during a time that the park will most likely be busy.I dont know what park some other reviews have been to in the past, but you should almost always expect to spend a lot on food and drinks in the park. That is literally how they get you. Vending machine drinks are $4-5.25. At the food court, I got one order of chicken tenders and fries to share plus two fountain drinks, totaling $26. Dining plans are advisable. They seem like a big investment up front to a lot of people, but it will easily pay for itself in the park. As long as you dont wait in a 45 minute food line....In 2022 almost everything is expensive. Im not sure why people would expect to not pay a lot for food when food is always expensive at amusement parks, unfortunately. This is no different at Disney World, Six Flags, Universal or any other major park.On the bright side, They do allow you to bring things into the park. On my second day, I packed 3 water bottles in my backpack and a snack. This helped me through the day in the sun as well as saving some money.I have always been a Six Flags guy. Living in Connecticut, I have easy access to Six Flags New England as well as Great Adventure. I would say Hershey is more family oriented and with less thrills than those parks, but still with plenty for the big kids to do. Although the rides here arent the same scale as some of those other parks, I still had an awesome time on those bigger rides! My personal favorites were Lightning Racer (had to ride both sides!) and Fahrenheit.I WILL be coming back, probably in a few years but I wont be returning for Memorial Day weekend and I will also plan to get a souvenir cup (this will also save you money in the long run), A Dining Plan and Fast Passes. Also, Chocolate world is awesome. The factory tour is fun for the kids, even though its not the real factory! I didnt do much of the other activities in there this time, but Create Your Own Candy Bar is on the top of my list.If youre the kind of person who likes more educational ventures, Id say book the Trolley Tour!Dinner at the Chocolatier was very good, although again, a little pricey. I recommend the Chocolate Barbecue Chicken Wings. On the topic of chocolate - there is surprisingly little of it in the park. I expected more, but I think it can be too hot for it! There is plenty in the chocolate world store, though.TLDR: Plan ahead to save yourself money, Dont come around a holiday, and also plan on maybe waiting a lot, potentially in the sun! Awesome family park with rides for the Parents, too!
Got to enjoy the Chocolatier for my sons birthday. Food was better then we expected. Especially the garlic bread. You think oh a few garlic sticks or something basic and it was so good. I had the short ribs and would highly recommend them. Cant wait to come back and try some new entrees.
The absolute best theme park in the northeast. Hersheypark is clean, cheap, and is so amazing. The rides are a plenty, and the food is delicious. Again, cheaper than all the other parks, and such a better experience. I love Hersheypark and I hope they continue to innovate and keep this place thriving. I want to bring my grandkids here one day!
5 stars for being so close by Baltimore (1.5hrs), 5 stars for the food (was delicious), and 5 stars for fun (the kids loved it).Con: Long lines for everything. We have to at least wait up to 45mins to an hour for the rides and the food. This was our first time so I dont know if this is always but we went in April first weekend they are opened for the year. I hope in the summer they get better as the crowd increases.Tip: I would recommend to purchase All Day dining and All Day drinks. Between myself, my daughter and husband we were good with just 1 all day dining and 1 all day drinks. Every 90 mins you can get 1 meal and 1 side from different restaurants on the list. Its so worth it.Prices: All Day Dining $35All Day Drinks $18.50Also dont forget or dont miss Chocolate World. They sell some unique flavors of chocolate you dont see in stores. Outside the store theres a food stand that sells all types of smores.
From open to close we had a great time. The only downside right now is some of the rides are closed. Possibly staffing issues like everyone else in the country. I totally understand. The coasters are open and it was a good time. We did not buy fast pass. If its a busy day you may have to. Some rides had 2 hour wait times. This is the end of the season. Hard to find hotels last minute. Book in advance if you want to make a weekend of it. Definitely worth the crowds. Hershey park is a great experience.
We went December 21st - 23rd. There werent any crazy long lines. The park was realtively peaceful. We had to walk the whole park only to find out multiple (most) rides were closed down due to cold weather or wind. It was 46° in the afternoons and 36° by the time we left each night. Wish they wouldve updated their own app letting guests know which attractions were open and which were closed. We defintetly want to come back during the summer and ride all the cool rides we didnt get a chancer to go on during this trip. Either way, its about spending time with family and making memories.
Park is very clean. Be prepared for lots of walking. Lots. Almost 7 miles a day we walked. Did the water park one day and the rides the next. Most of the lines werent too bad for the rides. If youre going to eat there, best bet is to probably get the meal and drink plan. $20 to park your car is too much considering youre already paying for Park entry.
One of the best amusement parks Ive ever been to. Weekdays seem to have less traffic. Drinks inside are extremely expensive, about $4 for a water bottle. I recommend asking for ice water, its free and youll need it, Ive had to drink about 2 gallons of water in 5 hours
My favorite theme park by far. Very crowded this season, (no fault to the park) so shoot for a weekday. Candymonium is an absolute must-ride. Kudos to Jolly Rancher Remix for taking a boomerang and refashioning it in to a way that even thoosies can speak highly of.Park is clean, fun, a little pricey, and safe. Perfect for a day trip, or a week vacation.
This is a great amusement park! I recently went with some friends and we had a great time. It also features a water park and zoo. The water park has lots of rides, a wave pool, and a lazy river. The one glaring flaw with my experience at the waterpark was the temperature of the ground. It was a fairly sunny day, and obviously most people had their shoes off. Most people were quickly walking to their destination, stopping for a few seconds in the shade so they wouldn’t burn the bottom of their feet. I think Hershey should invest in a better ground for their waterpark. I recommend water shoes if going to the waterpark for an extended period of time. In the main park, the food could definitely be pretty overpriced, as is the case with most theme parks. Although here, water was 4$. The entire park is completely cashless, I should add, so be prepared for that. Only card is accepted. In summary, this is a great park, with great rides for the whole family. It does have some flaws, but that didn’t hinder us from having a good time.
Ive been going to Hershey Park since I was a kid and love bringing my child there now. The rides are great, the park is clean and plenty of food options. We went on a Sunday in September and the lines were super short. Several rides we just walked on to. We had a great time!
We spend 3 days and my kids had so much fun, there is a lot of activities to do for all ages, the factory is awesome with this heatwave ON less food option but we still enjoyed our meal, we hate that the trolley is Not working unacceptable when you park all the way near the Giant kids is already tired before activities, staff redirect you to park so far it’s not even 11am, You need interactive map on your app like most theme park using to locate rides and post the waiting time also. We did not see any single character out for picture on that 3 days, bathrooms are clean over all we like it here and definitely coming back on the future.
Really cool place! Tons to do and even the streets are hershey themed. Truly a great place to come for a time of fun and the chocolate is to die for. Chocolate world is FREE ( also a really awesome tour inside of how the chocolate is made ) but the amusement ride part of the park u have to pay for! The gift shop is a must go to.
The rides are awesome ! The wait times are horrendous though. 1 to 2 hours for the coasters … The park hours when I went were 11 am to 7 pm - seems short when you have to wait 2 hours per ride. I could only ride 4 of the 15. The park itself looks very pretty nestled in the trees with plenty of flowers and fountains. The Chocolatier restaurant is way too expensive - $17.00 for a milkshake. Go inside the park and get a fresh fruit smoothie for $6.00. Your body will thank you for it. Overall a pleasant day.
My first time at Hershey park and it was amazing you definitely need more than one day to be able to do everything they have different things for your kiddos to do. We will definitely be making another trip again soon. I loved this place❤🍫😋 they have chocolate museum, zoo, the water park and dry park and my 2 year had a a great time and she was able to ride most the rides.😀
A place where fun / crowd / jam packed car parks / people from different counties / kids young adults senior citizen who always love chocolate can never miss it . In Pennsylvanian state .. If get opportunity don’t miss it.. Free entry but some events are paid events if u have full day time to invest
Good presentation, clean park, though theming is inconsistent, and the entry, food, and goods are overpriced. The park is inefficient compared to other better run parks like Kings Island, Cedar Point, Holiday World, etc. Lines dont move quick enough and most rides dont have enough trains / vehicles and the boarding and deboarding processes is too slow, so you will spend a lot of time just waiting around.
I have been to the park several times in my life. As a kid and now as an adult I have had an amazing time each and every visit. The park offers rides and attractions for everyone no matter the age.The price of admission is well worth it as they continue to add-on and rework the grounds.
Absolute BLAST!!! We got lucky the Saturday before Labor Day with WICKED SHORT wait times and amazing interactions with staff. The candy was great obviously and the food was also good. We spent the whole day doing the interactive experiences and riding rides until we were sick I’d absolutely love to come back
I’ve visited about 10 times over the course of the year - during the summer, Halloween and now Christmas. Overall, it’s a nice park with some solid rides and a lot of diversity for the whole family. However, it feels consistently poorly managed. Big crowds during events with limited rides and even open rides are often running single trains, etc. Food is mediocre across the board, rides often shut down short and long term and it’s seems like they are often understaffed. But none of this stops them from pushing tickets to pack the park to the gills. They’ve also done a poor job managing crowds during Covid by creating bottlenecks vs using the park to dissipate crowds, which was disappointing, especially during the early part of the pandemic. My advice; Come on a tues-Thursday in the summer for a solid experience but avoid at all costs on weekends and holidays
Got to go to Hershey Park on Thursday July 29th, 2021. I was expecting Hershey to be very crowded but it actually wasnt that bad. We got to the park early at 9:00am. The actual park didnt open till 11:00am so we killed some time by going on the Chocolate Tour ride which opened up at 9:00am and then we walked around Chocolate Town. When the park opened at 11:00am it still wasnt too bad. The first ride we went to was Candymonium and let me tell you that was a great ride. It got more busy as the day went on but we got to get on every single ride. We did have to wait in lines but only for about 20 minutes. I do have to say that we went on an overcast day and they were calling for rain so maybe that is why it wasnt as busy. Overall though had a great time at the park. It was kept very clean and they also had hand sanitation stations everywhere which I fully appreciated. I definitely recommend a visit to this park if you are in the area. It is great for families and I believe you while have a very enjoyable day at Hershey Park.P.S. This is a definite thing to do when you are leaving the park at night - dont forget to stop into the Starbucks to left of the Carousel as you are leaving the park. I have to say that Starbucks was some of the best coffee I have ever had!! Definitely a major stopping point when I go back to Hershey Park.
Spent more time waiting in lines than actually riding the rides. Prices for foods and drinks were outrageous, I believe a water was 4 dollars. Though, there were great rides for all ages, and plenty of different places to eat. The Waterpark was quite nice, and offered plenty of different water rides. With a purchased ticket, you gain free access to the zoo they have. Nice for the kids. All in all, it was a great experience, but some things need to be improved upon. Firstly, the use of inappropriate language and gestures directly at the kiddie rides is highly inappropriate. While walking by, I heard several uses of racial slurs, f word, and other explicit words. Hershey staff should be aware of this. The prices need to be dropped. I spend close to a hundred dollars on a ticket, and leave spending half of that on food and water. Now, this is a precaution for Hershey. I had left something inside the park after I left to retrieve it, so I was heading back and I said I was just in and forgot to get stamped, so the guy said oh alright, head on in. You know how easy it would be for anyone to sneak in now?
One of the best theme parks in the US! Awesome selection of rides for adults and kids. Nice park layout that spreads out their great selection of roller coasters and kids rides throughout the entire park. Their water park is top notch too. Chocolate World is free and fun. They have live shows and lots of games to play in addition to the rides. Tons of places to eat with a good variety and decent prices. Lots of shops to pickup memorabilia. Zoo America is included with your ticket (or on its own) and is always fun to walk through.
Overall, love it. A few minor adjustments could make it a better experience with such large crowds daily. Bathrooms; in and out doors as to not jam up one door. Each ride should have a test seat so you dont wait in line just to find out you dont fit, just like they have the height board. Straight wait lines, maybe even multiple lines to the door to the ride, not a maze; its very misleading and gets tempers running high. And if you cant change the line situation; then have prizes awarded at certain points for making it that far.
Its become so overpriced over the last decade with nothing to offer back in exchange. Roller coasters only offer so much value to a place that is about candy. They charge you $15 for 3 small chicken tenders and a hand full of fries and call it a culinary experience. Theyve doubled the price of their Christmas season tickets and open 2 hours later than they used to only giving you 7 hours instead of the full 9. The lines for everything is getting ridiculous at 45 min to ride a monorail because they refuse to operate more than the one train of the 2 you clearly see in the track. They claim all these new things theyve done to justify the cost, but in reality theyve only added more stores for you to look at their overpriced junk that hasnt changed in 15 years for the most part. They are trying to charge Disney prices but giving you a 6 flags experience in return. The Christmas season tickets used to be about $20, but now theyre charging upwards of $80 a ticket with a supposed sale making them $45.... Theyre still doubling the price and giving nothing extra. They didnt even have the parking lot train cars running, but had half the front of the lot occupied with a marching band competition instead forcing everyone to park past Hershey world even though we pulled in 2 hours early just to try and beat the crowds to go shopping for chocolate. FYI the store was so crowded it was shoulder to shoulder packed. I WILL NEVER COME BACK.
Came with friends and their children for an evening at the park during Christmas time. Was very cold, but we came prepared. Thankfully we were able to purchase tickets on sale ahead of time. Parking was $20. We met at Troegs before the park and it was a great stop. Fun for a family adventure. Nice to see the lights at night too.
I spent a day at Hersey Park on a Tuesday. Overall the park was very clean with plenty of hand sanitizer throughout the park. I highly recommend paying for preferred parking. I absolutely enjoyed majority of the rides that was operating. Hersey Park offer a good selection of roller coasters. I love that they had a Starbucks in the park which was nice. The employees was friendly and helpful. Just like if not all but most amusement park not all ride was operating. They had an indoor arcade and typical carnival games which was very limited. The line for the ride wasn’t crazy even though i purchased one of the speed pass it wasn’t crazy busy where it was needed. If, you decide to bring your pet it must be a service dog but no worries Hersey Park has a kennel call the Barking Lot which is located by the Preferred Parking Lot where you can have your 4legged family member stay during your visit. The kennel is clean and well AC for hot weather. Your 4legged family member must be accompany with shots certification in hand and no the tags wont do you must have the paperwork. I would recommend a visit to Hersey Park. I had a very good time. -The perks of online purchase you should take advantage of. If, you purchased your park ticket online you can visit the park the day before 2 hours before closing to check out the park and get on rides with your ticket in hand. Which, I did and I didnt have to pay for parking either.
I love this place so much! I came here when I was 9 with a summer camps and stayed at the campgrounds overnight. But I wanted to relive my childhood, so I came back at the end of this summer and stayed in at the Hershey Lodge. Highly recommend staying at one of the Hershey hotels, since that way you get the full experience and if youve never been or live far away, please stay at one of their hotels.Im still so glad that Hershey is still open even with Covid. I was afraid I wouldnt like this place since I went there when I was younger, but it exceeded my expectations all around. Unfortunately a lot of things were closed, but since Im not super big on thrill rides, I got to do just about everything I wanted to do.The staff were so friendly. I got to feel like a big kid again. Hershey really is a special place and I would highly recommend going if you have kids or just want to let yourself be a kid again! 😍😍

Review №1
2022-05-24This was the best vacation I’ve had in a long time. So much to do in Hershey and I didn’t get to do it all but we still had a good time. We went to Hershey park and to chocolate world. Hershey park was really not expensive for the tickets. The food and amenities were expensive but it is an amusement park so that’s to be expected obviously. Altogether we had a great time. We went to the zoo which was by far one of the best and most intimate experiences I’ve had in a zoo. I wanted to go to Amish country but didn’t get the chance. I would recommend everyone to go at least once in their lifetimes because you get to see the history of how everything was made and created. I don’t think I will go again with the kids because we have already seen everything and not much changes up there however, I will take my wife back just to see Amish country. There are more adult things to do there and ways to enjoy yourself. I’ll be posting that review as soon as I’m able to get back up there.

2022-05-30Its a nice place to be with kids as with any other amusement park. The tickets are not that expensive but probably they need more staff the manage the crowd. Few rides were not working and sometimes even the vending machines and food services kiosks were too slow. Ultimately, we had fun but could have been better. You need at least 3 days to cover all rides and attractions.

2022-05-24I’ve been going to Hershey park off and on since I was a teen. It’s such a great place to go and spend a day riding rides! I really appreciate that they have rides for all thrill levels! We usually have some people who love intense rides and some who appreciate the smaller simpler rides so I love that there’s something for everyone! everything is always clean here and you can tell them employees are very well trained at their jobs. Safety precautions are always followed too!

2022-06-13Had an amazing weekend at Hersheypark. This park offer you with loads of fun and crazy activities. The Hershey Chocolate park is also great place for chocolate lovers, will love the actual process of chocolate making. Amusement park have so many rides that can’t be covered within a day, I was able to finish 5 roller coasters and few more rides as well. The crowd is huge, the lines on rides is also big and goes bigger in the peak afternoon hours. Just for the information, the waterpark & all water rides are open only till 5pm, though the whole park is open till 7pm.Definitely will visit again to cover remaining roller coasters.

2022-04-09My teenage daughter enjoy this place so much.Pass wasn’t cheap, but worth it.I was hoping the opening hours can be 9am instead of 11am.Food inside the park was okay, parking was simple! Will come back soon to enjoy the water park.If they can open more ticketing booth, that’ll be great.

2022-06-02Very nice park. Was surprised at the amount (14) and high thrill level of roller-coasters in the park. Also enjoyed the little zoo inside the park. Food was ok but not at top of my list of parks for eating. Not many other rides than the coasters, not sure about the water park it was closed when we were there at the end of May.

2022-06-09A great place to explore and ride some roller coasters! They just opened some new rides and had a lot of things to do. The parks hours were pretty short being the summer (only open for 8 hours) and a lot of things seemed to be understaffed. That being said, it was still a great experience and there was a lot to do! Apparently the chocolate world experience is a good thing to do after the park, but it closed an hour before the park closed :/. Good to always check to he hours.

2022-06-06The Best Chocolate and Great Coasters. This is such a Great park. A Great line up of coasters for a park not owned by the Big chain of parks and to me thats what makes it so Great. That home town feel of friendly people and a Great variety of entertainment and food for all ages. Over 2 days at the park and not a single break downs or delay on any of the rides of which I could not say about the Big chain parks. This is truly the Sweetest place on Earth. This is a place you must Experience. If its not on your Bucket list, put it on there. I hope to one day be able to come visit this Great park and friendly community that the Town of Hershey has been to my family and I.

2022-05-03Great park. I just wish the lines werent always so painfully slow moving at every ride. The parks operations arent the best really and theres a lot of little kids and elderly crowds. Its a great family park / thrill park but be prepared to wait in some very long lines as the ride crews dont hustle to send out trains.
