My wife and I have been boarders at Hill Crest Farm for eight years, and have boarded a total of three horses during that time. Currently we have two horses boarded. The cleanliness of stalls and paddocks is excellent, and care is attentive and loving. Lisa Cope and her husband Bill manage all matters of the farm and are friendly, hard-working, accommodating, reasonable, and fair in the running of the place. Lisa has had intimate horse experience since early childhood, and readily sees when a horse is off or ailing. Plus, she is an experienced show person who is an excellent instructor for children and adults. The overall priority at Hill Crest Farm is the welfare of the horses, and great vigilance is dedicated to assuring adequate quantity and quality of feeding as well as ample fresh and clean drinking water. Stalls and paddocks are picked daily. Horses are turned out daily, and summer pasture grazing is available. We were previously boarders at two other barns, which have fallen out of business. After considerable looking around, we consider ourselves fortunate to have found Hill Crest Farm.
I LOVE Hill Crest! Lisa takes such amazing care of the horses and property. My horses look amazing and are super relaxed and happy here. Lisa is always making improvements at the barn and property to keep things in top shape and beautiful. Excellent barn management, professional and knowledge staff, and beautiful peaceful farm. You get so much for your money - amazing care of your horse, awesome property and trails to ride on, great group of boarders and students. Cannot say enough good things about Hill Crest Farm!!
The stable is beautiful and well maintained. Lessons are available for all age groups and the staff is very talented and caring with strong family values with Lisa, the owner, supporting horse and donkey rescues. Hill Crest values are placed on people and the horses making them a fabulous stable to board and take lessons.
Hillcrest is the best!! I started taking lessons there about a year ago on one of their lesson horses and my trainer Dana is great. After a few months I decided to move my horse to board at Hillcrest. He has never looked better or been happier! They take such good care of him there. One time the horses had to stay inside because of bad weather and Lisa, the owner, even sang to my horse :-) Anyone looking for a great place with great people should come and look at this farm. I highly recommend it!!
Coming to Hill Crest Farm is like being adopted into another family. You are made to feel like part of the team as soon as you come to the barn. The care and commitment to each and every horse is second to none! Each horse is loved and cared for unconditionally whether it is a lesson or a boarder horse. They are prepared to work with the most beginner rider, intermediate to advanced. Hill Crest Farm has really made all of my daughters dreams come true.
I cannot say enough good things about Hillcrest. I brought my daughter Lola here about a year ago due to her having an unspecified anxiety disorder. She has been learning from Lisa, the owner, how to horseback ride and take care of the horses. She absolutely loves coming up here. This helps her get out of the house more as well.. not to mention when we leave she is more talkative and happier.Lisa has taken so much extra time with my daughter by going over her lesson time by 10, 15 and even 20mins. We liked Lisas’ farm instantly with the horses meandering by, the cats that will follow you and are very affectionate even a pug named Berkley who sits amongst them and blends into the beautiful scenery here. The first time we went up to check out the farm and meet Lisa she talked to my daughter and showed us around and before good byes and nice to meet you’s were said she gave my daughter a hug and i knew this was a good place to be.It is a very relaxing and peaceful environment with my daughter making new friends and now horseback riding and learning how to take care of them is her passion. Again, i cannot say enough wonderful things about Hillcrest and the kindness that was given to me and my daughter. Im so glad we found this farm.Desiree Safadi, Breinigsville
This is a lovely facility in a centrally located rural area, yet is just minutes to many municipalities. They have a beautiful new barn with matted stalls, good quality grain and hay, secure safe pastures and paddocks, and great care by a team of dedicated horse people. The horses are fat and happy. And if youre so inclined, there is an on site trainer to help you achieve your dreams, whether its just learning to trail ride or to compete in shows, she does it all.If youre looking for a place where you and your horse will be happy, where people are friendly and where you dont have to worry when you cant be there, Hillcrest Farm is fabulous.
It was a great barn but as of right now so don’t want to even give it any stars because we went on a road trip and when we come back none of our horses were fed or had water given to them *we were gone for a little over a week* 2 of them ended up dying and one of our horses ended up being left there *if y’all know of a grey Appaloosa in her 20’s let me know and her name was Ghost* anyway I hope you are proud of yourself🙄 I’ll put a picture of one of the horses that died here👇

2021-01-02I took riding lessons as a kid and decided to get back into it in 2020. Thats when I found Hill Crest Farm. Lisa, the owner, is kind and welcoming, and I did a couple months of lessons with her before switching to lessons with the barns jumping coach, Christine, who is also fantastic. They have both helped me immensely with everything from my form to setting goals for my riding. There are both indoor and outdoor rings. Although the former isnt as large as some found at other barns, its well lit and well maintained, and it gets the job done. The barn is one of the absolute cleanest and most organized Ive ever seen, and the horses are totally pampered. Definitely a five-star experience.

2021-10-26Lisa at Hill Crest is absolutely wonderful. She originally agreed to go over basics with our children so I was more comfortable with them trail riding while on vacation. She was so wonderful we decided to continue lessons with her. Highly recommend Hill Crest for anyone looking for lessons!

2021-07-01Absolutely LOVE this farm for beginner riding lessons for our out-of-state 10 year old granddaughter. She LOVES going there every chance she can when she visits. Facilities are clean and well-kept. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Owner is on site and is our trainer. Conveniently located for us. In our opinion, prices are very fair for the 1 to 1 lesson time. Granddaughter has learned a lot, as have I. So much so that this 60+ year old is finally thinking of indulging in some childhood dreams and taking some lessons, too! Very impressed and appreciative with teaching pre-ride grooming, tacking-up, post-ride grooming, etc. Care of the horses is top priority, not just getting on and riding. Nothing but EXCELLENT reviews from us!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

2018-09-18An absolutely fantastic place to board your horse. Lisa and staff are very knowledgeable and always go the extra mile to ensure your horse is well taken care of. Constant improvements are always being made at the farm and it continues to get better every day. The on-site trainer (Dana) is absolutely fantastic and has taken my daughter from no dressage experience to an LVDA class champion in only one summer, with plans for her to compete at Level 1 next year!

2020-10-07I absolutely love coming here for horseback riding lessons for my daughter. Lisa is wonderful. My daughter is shy and Lisa makes sure she builds her confidence, asks her questions, and keeps her on her toes. She is professional and extremely knowledgeable. She grew up around horses and really knows everything you need to learn to ride safely. I look forward to our weekends here. I would highly recommend this place!
