We were here for a 1 night stay enroute further north, hoping only for a quiet nights sleep and decent breakfast. Well, this place way over delivered. We arrived late evening to a lot packed with obvious construction vehicles and thought there goes breakfast to those hearty eaters and early risers. They did both and there were some hiccups with the food supply the next morning but they were just minor thanks to the breakfast worker. She kept up on restocking and cooking much quicker than wed hoped. Breakfast had a lot of variety - sausage gravy
The room seemed alright when we first arrived and the receptionist was super nice at check in. When we were using the whirlpool, all of a sudden there was blackish brown dirt and debris that started to appear, so we immediately got out and showered. When we went to go to sleep, there were blood spots on the linens. I requested new linens and wasn’t brought the right size, and wasn’t brought a comforter. We slept without the comforter because they did not have a king size comforter left. When I checked out, I explained to the (different from check in) receptionist that there were issues with the whirlpool and she said the sewage authority had just flushed the system- gross!! She offered a partial refund after acknowledging that there were also blood on the linens, and I still haven’t heard anything two days later. I received the survey invitation prior to receiving any correspondence regarding the issues we had.
I spent one night at this hotel while I was passing through the area. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and very helpful. My first impression was the entire property seemed dated and worn and the carpeting throughout the hotel looked like it hadnt been cleaned in years. I noticed none of the other hotels in town looked much better as I came into town, so I decided to stay. I stayed in room 101. First of all the bed had a significantly noticeable sag in the center that could be seen upon entering the room. In addition to that, I discovered later when I went to be that 3 of the beds legs had risers on them, but 1 at the foot of the bed was missing causing the bed to slant down and to the side. All night I felt like I was rolling out of bed. Next the room only had 1 dim desk light, and 2 small over bed spot lights for reading. It was so dark, but maybe that was good so you couldnt see the dirt. Third, the comforter had so many stains on it. I wonder if it had ever been washed. Luckily it was hot so I only needed a sheet. The carpet felt sticky, so I kept my shoes or sandals on any time I stood up. Holiday Inn should be ashamed to rent this room. I would have asked for another room, but I need a handicapped accessible bathroom, and the desk clerk had told me at the time of my check in that this was the only handicapped room they had available. I also would have checked out in the middle of the night and went to another hotel, but the selections in this town were not good.
Phenomenal experience and very hospitable. From the first moment we walked in to the time we walked out. Everyone was extremely nice, friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean, the pool was nice, breakfast was hot. Smells like cinnamon buns when you walk into the hotel. Would stay again if I was in the area.
We enjoyed the pool and our room was very comfortable. The staff recommended an excellent family restaurant nearby and were on top of their game by getting us towels for the pool before we were even ready. The only small issue was that the breakfast choices were a little bit lacking. Otherwise it was a great visit.
The bed was comfortable. They gave us extra pillows when we requested them. The pillows were very supportive. There were reading lights on the bed frame. There was a nightlight in the hair blow dryer holder in the bathroom. I didnt have to leave the bathroom light on. Great guest service. Full breakfast offered, we didnt take it though. We went out.
The staff where great. The hotel needs a good cleaning.the elevator was gross looks like it hasent been cleaned in weeks. The furniture in the lobby was so old disgusting, needs to be replaced. They need to fill the vending machines. Maybe put a little store in the lobby with food drinks etc.. the breakfast was average.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The decor was beautiful. It was very quiet and peaceful. We loved the soap and body gel provided by the hotel. The lighting does need to be brighter in the bathroom. The front desk staff were friendly and the check in/check out process were simple and fast. Due to the pandemic, we knew that they wouldnt have a full breakfast buffet. But my husband wasnt happy that he had to wait for the server to get off their cell phone to serve him eggs. The eggs were dry and had no flavor. The overall experience was excellent and we definitely recommend this hotel.
Staff were very friendly but it was very short staffed. We had to wait for pool towels because the one staff member (Chris) was trying to do laundry and handle everything else thrown at her simultaneously. Hot breakfast was offered but had to be served to you by staff member (again super nice and helpful individual).
As far as places go this is a pretty decent place. The last time I stayed here however there was a issue with the room still being dirty no one had cleaned it. Which really wasnt too awful bad because I then he upgraded my room which from now on I always get a room with a hot tub because of that. Unfortunately we live in an area where bed bugs are a big problem and the last time I stayed there I did find a live one crawling around on the wall. Like I said I dont believe its the hotels fault I think its the people that live in this area. I didnt really make a big deal out of it or complain I simply killed it and moved on. I did recheck my everything was fine. Would I stay here again yes I have some good times there so I will definitely stay there again Ive never had horrible service there Ive only had one issue with the room before but like I said since the guy upgraded my room for no extra charge, now I get that room every time I go there so basically worked out well for everyone.Thank you.
During the current difficult times in our country, it is very easy for people involved with constant people to people contact to have a tendency to be very stand offish. It was a pleasure to experience the great customer service provided by all of the hotel personnel that I came in contact with during my visit.
Room was clean, people were helpful and friendly. Alot of variety of foods for breakfast, hot foods and cold foods. I loved the 24/7 coffee/tea. Only thing I would change is to swap out the smaller refrigerators for something bigger. Alot of people stay there long term for work in the area and a bigger refrigerator would be helpful.
This hotel Puts others in Bradford, PA to shame! Such a wonderful experience and great spot to stay! We will definitely be back! Our grab and go breakfast bags, cookies in the lobby, pool open and sanitized between all guests, small gym and incredible staff blew us away! From the first phone call I made, I knew this front desk staff was on point and I was dealing with genuinely caring individuals! Every person we came across was friendly and helpful! A ! It’s hard to find kind and accommodating service staff, so I thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! Excellent employees!
When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly and professional front desk person who highlighted where breakfast would be in the morning, locations of Ice and internet services and codes. Upon checking out, the process was simple also handled by a friendly professional. Further, I was having problems with the he IHG app on my phone. She was able to fix the problem and made sure it was working fine before I left.

Good clean hotel. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Access to the pool and weight room was easy. Everyone was social distancing. Only thing I would recommend is that they offer hard boiled eggs in one of their breakfasts to go. Other than that, stay was great. I would stay again.
This was by far this best hotel stay I have had in many years. The staff is welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. The hotel was so clean that I thought it had recently gone through a refurbishment. The breakfast selection was plentiful. Kevin remembered my dietary restriction from day-to-day and had a to-go ready without issue. Jamie handled our reservation and answered all our questions about road noise and the trains. (There was no noise) The WiFi was great, was able to call in for conferences with no issue. Thank you to everyone on staff for a great visit to Bradford.
I will preface this review with the fact I only stay at Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn chains. so my review is only comparing to those chains. Among me and my work associates, this is the dreaded hotel. Can we please work a 16 hour day to get out of that hotel quick? The rock hard beds, rooms showing their age, and wandering 3 floors for water out of the vending machine since theres no complimentary water. (All 3 floors didnt have water.) Good hospitality is half anticipating your guests needs, and half responding to their requests. I am not a bad review person, but my net negative experiences has put me here. Staff is professional and warm, and the hotel I assume is marginally better than the cheaper options in town.
Hotel location is nice, just on the outskirts of town where you can access anything necessary, but the cleanliness is lacking. I understand that Covid had made times tough, but the integrity has diminished. It seems as though the housekeeping makes a quick glance at the room, changes the beds, wipes down the counters, stocks amenities, and is out the door. Sorry, but in my history of working at a privately-owned Inn, every nook and cranny needs to be checked. This was not done in our room. There was a pair of dirty socks left in the closet, it looked like there hadn’t been any dusting done in months, and the toilet leaked. Staff was very apologetic and attentive to the deficits, but proper housekeeping would have prevented the issues.
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Bradford during a trip my wife and I took. The staff was very friendly and we were checked in super fast. Our room was the whirlpool king and it was very clean. We had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great. I usually don’t sleep good being away from home but the bed was very similar to mine so I slept quite well. No noise or disturbances during the night. Parking was close to the hotel. Over all I am very happy with my stay and would stay there again if I’m ever in the area.
The hallways and elevator smelled of weed, in the morning I could smell cigarette smoke coming under the door. The grab and go bags smelled like cigarettes and had to throw them away from the smell in the car. Saw a guest or someone smoking a joint outside the hotel, did not feel like it was a safe place. Pull out sofa has stains and son would not sleep on it, staff offered to switch rooms when I came back in evening of second night, but I was too tired to move all my stuff. Both staff members were empathetic and nice but no compensation offered for not moving.
We stayed here before and this trip was just as great. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. The free cookies were soft and delicious. The room was comfy and clean. Went down and looked at the pool, very clean and being enjoyed by a group of guests, and the exercise room had great equipment, easy to use and clean. Breakfast at this hotel is always amazing.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but you could tell someone who stayed previously was smoking in the room. We did not sleep well. The bed was extremely stiff and the people in the room above us were up all night stomping around. Wish they would bring back the hot breakfast..
The location was easy to get to. The hotel looked very safe, excellent lighting, nice parking area and clean on both the inside and outside. The staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was amazing and clean. Especially loved the huge mirror for the closet door. The shower was fantastic and could adjust the shower head. The bed and pillows where very comfortable and clean. The swimming pool was especially nice and well maintained. Breakfast has a nice variety of items including juice which my daughter really liked..We will definitely be staying again and will recommend this hotel to others
Nice place to stay while your in Bradford, Pa. Rooms are nice and staff is friendly. The only thing that was disappointing is that there wasn’t a hot/buffet style breakfast. Other hotels that I stay at monthly have had a hot/buffet style breakfast since last fall. If I’m paying a premium price to stay at a hotel, I really don’t want a bagged cold breakfast.
This hotel is clean and in good condition. It is within walking distance of downtown. The pool is open and breakfast is being served but both with modifications. The pool required a sign-up for a specific hour for our room. When we did get to go to the pool there were no towels and the pool was too cold for comfort for us. Breakfast is limited with the staff getting food for you instead of the usual ability to self-serve. This was inefficient but better than nothing however Id really like to see a return to normal with food options.
The hotel staff was extremely helpful. We arrived past midnight and the staff was able to find us a room and quickly check us in. Breakfast was scheduled at 6:30 and was ready before 6am. We were able to grab a bit before traveling. The room was clean and spacious. Its one of the best hotel experiences for the year. Definitely recommend the property. A
Hotel was nice and Patty, at the front desk, was wonderful in checking me in. Lobby was clean and well maintained. The room though needs a little work. The carpet needed cleaned; the doors slam too hard and have too much of a gap at the bottom. Electrical outlets were OK. Bathroom...was wonderful. Nice big shower with good pressure. Plenty of towels and space. Lighting was a little poor. Overall, enjoyed my stay and would stay again!
Every member of the staff I interacted with is very friendly and helpful. We do commercial construction and usually stay out of town during the week for a couple months at a time. The staff picked up on our preferences quickly and treat us like family they like to be around every time were there. Covid restrictions put a stop on hot breakfast, which is a drag, as theres no other places open early to get something to eat before work except convenience gas stations, but theyre trying their best with cold cereal and Danish etc in Grab and Go bags
One of the reasons we stayed here is because it had a pool and breakfast was available. My girls love to swim and the pool was wonderful. The breakfast was good but it was so busy the staff couldnt keep up with demand. They were out of a lot of the selections and more guests were coming in. The hotel and room was clean but there were some areas that could use some updates: such as carpet up the stairs and in the side entrances. The staff were great! Overall, a good experience and would visit again if we are in the area.
So I stay at holiday inns as often as I can when I travel. I typically have a great experienc, but I cant say the same about this one. When I checked in the gentleman at the front desk wasnt there. I waited a while, went to the restroom and came back and he finally came around the corner. I was a little taken back by his attire, a punisher sweatshirt and ball cap. He also looked like he had been napping. I work night shift, so I sleep like a rock, unfortunately the mattresses felt like a rock. Typically they are great. These must have been old, IDK. Lastly, breakfast was fairly abismal. I get covid restrictions, but a bag with a granola bar and a travel cereal was fairly bleak.
Mask mandates were not followed at this hotel and the majority of the guests, mainly male construction workers in town to work, were not wearing masks in any of the common areas. I was in town for work and could not afford to get sick. Very dissatisfied! The room I stayed in was not clean and had stains in the couch.
This is a very nice hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty typical with regard to variety and quality of the food. Appreciated the bottled water and hot beverages that were available throughout our stay. We did experience a problem during our stay with a lack of hot water. Staff said that they had a water heater go out which made for cold showers. The problem was not resolved immediately but staff did their best to resolve the situation under the circumstances.
Everything during this stay was amazing. The poor rating for sleep quality was due to hip pain caused by sleeping on a bed (I typically sleep in a recliner). The breakfasts were delicious and provided some great options. The coffee in the room was great (although I will not own a Keurig due to environmental issues with regards to waste). Most importantly, housekeeping respected my request for no scents in the room. I would stay at this facility again and strongly recommend it!
We checked in at 6 pm good experience. Room was not cleaned very well trash on the bathroom floor and dust on the windowsill. Fire alarm went off in the morning to wake us up. No one seemed to care. Breakfast room had over flowing trash cans and the only time the attendant got up was to go outside and smoke same with the front desk person. This is a very example of an Hig property.
All aspects of our stay were fantastic! Front desk is courteous and helpful. Breakfast is wholesome and includes fruit and Oatmeal. Rooms are big and bathrooms were nice and clean. Wouldn’t mind staying again and strolling through downtown Bradford. Only minor hiccup was highway exit to the hotel was closed due to roadwork. Will definitely be staying at this property again!!
There is no insulation so the people staying in the room above us were very noisy. The heating/cooling system is hard to regulate. The pillows were not comfortable at all. Hardly any hot water for a shower. Breakfast was eggs and sausage The ladies at front desk were very nice at check in and out; however when i talked to them at check out and told them about issues, she didn’t offer anything but to let maintenance know. Worst hotel i have stayed at
We have stayed at this Holiday Inn before and have had a pleasurable and good experience. Our recent stay was good except for breakfast. From what we heard they were understaffed, one person didnt show up that was supposed to help with maintaining the breakfast items. The one person who was working was not making any attempt to work hard at keeping up with things. The hotel was booked full. We attempted to have breakfast at 9:00 am and there was very little selection of food. We waited for some time for items to get replenished and so was everyone else. When something was brought out it was nearly instantly emptied by waiting guests. When we were finally able to get some bacon it was cold. The pancake machine intermittently worked. I would have expected hotel management to step up and take action to get the situation resolved but that didnt happen. The overall breakfast experience was rather disappointing.
This hotel is located in a great spot (convenient to everything Bradford has to offer) and clean. The staff is professional and courteous whether they are dealing with a customer at check in or an upset customer because a car’s alarm is going off for the umpteenth time. My only complaint is over the Grab
My entire family and I stayed here for my Grandfathers funeral. The staff was amazing and made us feel at home. Almost every night we took over the lounge area to visit with family and friends. The breakfast satisfied EVERYONE! The kids loved the pool. The rooms were immaculately clean and fresh. The beds were very firm, my only negative feedback. We were all very impressed with our stay and the kindness of the staff. Chris the PM manager accommodated any need and made us feel like family!
The hotel was clean and comfortableThe bathroom lighting is the worst Ive ever experienced traveling. This is a newer hotel, but someone didnt think the bathroom lighting through very well. Very dim yellow light. Great for bedside, awful for shaving, and applying makeup. A lighted vanity mirror is offered from the front desk..... No one wants to go to the front desk after you are already in your bathroom and realize it....The breakfast offerings are consistent with all HIExpress. Food could have been hotter... Breakfast area was clean and well attended.
Front desk attendant was friendly and informative about event we were attending, even offered of needed safe ride back she would come get us after her shift. Awesome beds and i loved how pillows were labeled soft and firm. Keurig in rooms are the best so ppl can bring theor own k-cups. I found room to b very quiet even with a kids hockey tournament group staying therd.
The staff at this hotel was wonderful, the room was up to date, clean, and had lots of amenities! The pool was great and breakfast had lots of tasty options. The only complaint I had was the beds were extremely firm. If you like a good firm bed this is the place for you, I prefer a softer bed so I get a better sleep. Other than that it was a great stay!
Just when I think it can’t get any better! I have been to this location before And they are making it better and better! The breakfast accommodations at this facility are top notch. Everything is new and modern I was so thrilled when I came to breakfast that morning and experience the best Options you can think of! I loved it! Also they have definitely revamped the beds my bed was twice the size and even more comfortable than I remember. I love this hotel I will surely be back! The staff is always excellent!!! Thank you for making my stay great!
We arrived on the fly in Bradford, looking for an overnight stay while in the southern tier for a simple Memorial day weekend. After finding this hotel, we were very pleased with the customer service that was given to us and the attention to answering all of our questions. We normally dont order food to be delivered but the representative for extremely helpful with local eateries and food/ restaurant recommendations. The room and facility was very clean, plenty of toiletries, bathroom was clean and in good repair. The only thing we did notice that was a bit of a negative was there were no microwaves anywhere. We would stay here again if we were in the area.
One of my best hotel experiences ever. staff is very friendly. Room was clean and beds/pillows comfortable. We had to shorten our stay due to a family emergency and Jamie the manager didn’t bat an eye when giving us a refund. Also Chris who checked us in helped us decide what to eat by giving recommendations in the area and also gave us a map of local restaurants. We usually camp when coming to this area but may be staying here from now on!
From the time we walked in the front door until we walked out the weekend was fabulous. We had a jacuzzi room that was great. I found nothing wrong with this hotel at all and that is surprising as I travel for work and have had some pretty story telling experiences. So glad we decided on staying here for our getaway. Hot water was plenty. The bed and pillows were great. The noise level was next to none. A couple staff members were not as friendly as they should have been given they are in the hospitality business, but everyone has a bad day. We did find that some of the TV channels did not correspond with the card that is provided, but found our favorite by doing a little searching. When we pulled up there were several people out front by the doors smoking and it made me wonder, but this is the only time I saw anyone out there smoking so it too might have been out of the norm. I do wish breakfast went longer on the weekend, though. I wanted to sleep in and having to be at breakfast by 9:30 wasnt my idea of sleeping in. I understand though that it is a business and some people still work on the weekends and need an early start. All in all, I would highly recommend staying here if you are ever looking for a place to stay in the Bradford area.
We liked the location however, the room had crumbs on the floor, the mirror closet door was dirty and no hair conditioner in shower. As for the breakfast we were completely surprised and disappointed, the small one (1) piece of french toast we were given may have been enough for a three (3) year old but definately not an adult.
We stayed here for a 10K race i was signed up for. The check in was easy, They had a free breakfast which i always like unfortunately we were so tired the next day breakfast had already ended. We were located on the first floor and will definitely request anything but the first floor the next time. Over all a good experience and would stay there again.
Stayed here on whim due to Holiday Inn Express next to Seneca Alleghany Casino being unavailable. Price was very good and only 20 min away from Seneca Alleghany. Everything was great and all furnishings/facilities appeared to be in excellent condition. Room was very nice and very clean. Bathroom very nice and also very clean and spacious. Checked out shortly after the complimentary breakfast was supposed to be closed and the attendant offered to let us and a couple of other people eat anyway. He waited until we were done and gone to close it down. I would definitely recommend this hotel as the service, price and location were great.
The staff went over and beyond for us and our family. They were outstanding. The facility was great. The breakfast were great. It so nice to find a place that is a home away from home. I have had the opportunity to stay here twice with the last year and it is my place of destination whenever Im in the area. Management is lucky to have a staff that they have. I would say that each and everyone went out their way for us but my belief is that they do this ever day for every quest. They make you feel at home. Thank you
I was tired from the start but as soon as I entered the property I was greeted with a smile. Customer service is not dead. My kids were immediately greeted as well which I think is extremely amazing. They were shown the pool and we’re immediately happy aside from me being tired I was offered coffee and a complimentary drink. The room was fantastic the beds were so comfortable and the breakfast first thing in the morning was just what I needed. If you’re looking for a wonderful place to stay you have found it check Bradford holiday and out it’s wonderful.
This was a modern, well equipped hotel with good amenities but perhaps a little pricey. The breakfast experience needs to be better right across the group in my opinion. There is nothing to complain about regarding the rooms or the staff. Overall a positive experience.
After reading the reviews, we decided to stay at the HI Express in Bradford. We are so glad we did. The moment we checked in, I let the staff know that we were unsure about our length of stay due to a very sick family member. We were told not to worry, relax and try to enjoy our stay. They assured us that they would help us any way they could. Come the 4th day, we needed to check out earlier than expected. They were so understanding and accommodating. This is what a Hotel stay should be like. Awesome.
Minus the small detour issues I had to get to the driveway, the overall experience was great. I did not have a reservation but the lady at the front desk helped me get in and helped me find a room I could have 2 nights in. She also gave me the directions over the phone on how to find the place which was very helpful! The room was super clean and nice. Breakfast was as good as any. Would recommend staying here if in the Bradford area
Overall the stay was pleasant. The breakfast was very good, the facilities like gym and pool were clean and not over crowded. The reason I give them a 4 star instead of 5 is as follows: Our room had a few details that were not clean, gross even. - The pull out bed had chips and crumbs inside the mattress.(and in the floor) - The ceiling had brown smudger-streaks on it, that seemed pretty gross. Otherwise, the staff and free cookies were great!
The room was clean and the staff very friendly. However my two issues were the lighting in the bathroom and the breakfast. The bathroom lights are not adjustable for brightness and the light is inadequate for applying makeup. The breakfast is premade and heated. It just was not to our tastes. I will probably not stay here again.
I had very high hopes as its the best location and chain located near the towns refinery. I needed to stay several nights and was disappointed with the room in ways that may need remodel to truly rectify. Cracked floors, broken tub controls, rust in the tub. I will say the staff I interacted with was all great.
I have nothing but good things to say about this property. Was my 2nd time staying here and both stays were great. This is a newer, up-to-date property with nice grounds, lobby, common area and rooms. Was greeted as a Spire at check in and offered the welcome amenity. Was given an upgrade to the executive room which was appreciated. Wifi was fast and reliable. The rooms AC unit worked well and kept the room comfortable. Furnishing were modern, in great condition and clean. Breakfast was nice - had a good variety. We stopped to eat about 15 minutes before close so some items were out or missing but the staff offered to get us anything that was missing. Checkout was fast and easy. Terrific experience overall and Ill definitely return and can recommend to anyone.
At first I did not care for this hotel due to the very modern, uninviting decor and dark furniture. THEN we met the staff! OH MY GOSH, ARE THEY GREAT!! We had many extremely positive interactions with the staff, including when we were missing a razor, needed more towels and another box of kleenex, asked about something in the breakfast room, decided to book one more night, etc. Every, single time, there was a speedy response and very friendly and helpful attitude. In fact, we decided to travel home one day later, and booked another night on Friday, Sept. 2nd. We could have stayed elsewhere, though rooms were at a premium due to Labor Day Weekend, but chose to return to the Holiday Inn Express Bradford again. Our room upon return was a 1st floor room with only a shower. It was nice enough, but not as great as the original room we had on the second floor for 3 nights, August 28-30th. We used and loved the awesome laundry facilities, too! WOW! You guys really know how to do things up right!!!My recommendation would be to book 2nd floor, facing the parking lot, if you can. The side facing the highway was a little bit noisey during rush hour, otherwise very quiet and restful.
We were not planning on staying over at this hotel, but, after being too tired to continue on our trip, we chose this hotel. Were very glad they had a room available. We booked with points in a matter of minutes and were in our room. The beds were very comfortable as was the air temperature all night long. Excellent shower and breakfast as well. The pool was perfect too. Great hotel and staff. Would recommend any stay here.
Check in was friendly but not welcoming. Room was very nice. However, looking out the window, was worried because there were railroad tracks very close to the back of the hotel. Was hoping they were still not in use but was not sure. Could hear persons taking their bath/shower in another room and it was very loud. You could hear water sloshing.Bed was very comfortable. Pillows are too big for my liking because I have neck issues. Always bring my own pillow when traveling.Breakfast was adequate but out of orange juice when I was there. There was confusion on our part when we asked front desk about where to eat. She was helpful and told us of a restaurant that sounded good to us but she failed to tell us there were two different restaurants by same name. We wanted the more formal one and not knowing there were 2, we ended up in the pizza, sub shop one. A better explanation would have been appreciated since we were not familiar with the area.
We have stayed at other hotels in Bradford over the past two years because of a child in college but because of a sports event this place had one room left when we made reservations. When we arrived we were greeted by Joe who was able to give us an upgrade to a suite based upon the number in our family. The price was great. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool was clean and working. The food was plentiful for breakfast especially when feeding all those baseball players, and to top it all off they had a grill we could use, which we did on Fathers Day. It was clean, they set it up and provided the charcoal and lighter fluid. Now, you would think that being so close to the railroad tracks you would hear the trains, but we never did the whole time we were there. It was just the best long weekend we had in a long time. The whole staff, everyone, including the room cleaning crew were wonderful, no bad attitudes. This family will be back!
Our arrival was delayed until late night and there is some construction very close to the hotel. It messed us up and the desk staff was on the phone with us giving us turn by turn directions. We never would have found the hotel without this assistance. The bed was comfy and pillows were good. Bathroom was very large. The whole room was spotless.
I only stayed here for a few hours since I was on a one day trip and my flight arrived really late. Overall, the room was clean and quiet. The young lady at the front desk forget to greet me as a Spire Elite but I joked with her about it to make her feel better. The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway and was only a couple miles down the street from where I was doing business at.Great hotel overall.
The staff and management were very accommodating during our recent stay. We kept a very odd schedule due to a family members death and the staff bent over backwards to assist. The room was super clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful - kept clean and stocked by the efficient staff. A very good location for our home base during this trip.
The city is doing construction so getting into the property took some figuring out. I did a late check in and the overnight front desk staff was great at getting me into my room. After getting settled and finally to sleep tho myself, and the rest of the guests, 30-60 minutes (?) outside because of a fire alarm. The timing was not optimal as I needed to be up an hour later. After a day out, I was in town for business, I attempted to use the bathtub and found that the tub did not hold water. The course of action was to offer to try to find me another room at 7pm on the night before I check out. I did decline and took a luke warm shower because there was almost no hot water.Would I stay again? Yes. The room itself was comfortable, clean and the staff was friendly. This weekend just did not align to be a good stay.
Bradford is a small town and it is nice to be able to stay at a HIEx that is very similar to other HIEx that I stay at in other locations. This visit was during the first stages of the COVID-19 lockdown and thusly had some limited services. I really enjoy the breakfast and it is always good. That said the hotel was quiet and clean and the one interaction I had with the front desk staff was smooth and simple.Great visit
My co-workers and I stayed in this hotel in the beginning of March. The staff were excellent and very friendly. They helped us to find good places to eat/visit after a long day of work. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was available every day with different options, some better than others. I did not sleep well because large trucks were idling outside of the hotel for a portion of the night for the first 2 nights we were there. Overall, it was a good value for the rate.
This was a short overnight stay, but was a nice one! Everything was perfect! The front desk lady was very friendly and helpful when we checked in and went the extra mile to help us find a nice place to have dinner that night. Our room was very clean and fresh; w comfortable bed and bedding. Had a good nights sleep and a great breakfast! The variety and assortment of food was wonderful and delicious! When encountering any of the staff they were ALL very courteous and acknowledged us in a pleasant manner. If we are in the area again; Im sure well be back! Thanks for a great weekend getaway! :)
Our room wasnt particularly clean. Stains on carpet and couch. What I hope was dried food smashed in the spare blanket. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. The pool was closed for half our stay and the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Half the staff didnt wear masks properly if at all and there was no enforcement for guests.
We stayed here on our way to Watkins Glen from Ohio. We visited the Case knife and Zippo lighter museum which was small and informative if you like knives and lighters! This hotel location felt safe, everyone was friendly and the room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good especially the magical pancake maker as my daughter phrased it. Internet worked well too. Although this hotel is situated next to railroad tracks, no train went through on the night of our stay. My daughter was disappointed about this! Overall, a good location.
We found this place almost by accident when entering Bradford, first one we saw. So, the experience was great, room adequate and nicely kept. Price was competitive The breakfast was excellent and more than I expected. The Pool water was a little cold for my liking, but to each their own. It was safe, nice and located in a great location. I think it is relatively new. There were a lot of people there, but it was quiet. The entrance/exit setup could be better, but I didnt experience any problems with it. i would recommend this place to anyone.
Was pleased overall. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, staff were pleasant and ensured that if we needed anything, they provided it right away. Good was good, great breakfast times, person preparing food took pride in his work, breakfast area very clean. Best holiday inn that we have ever stayed at.
My family and I were in Bradford for just the night and everything about this hotel was spectacular! I called the day before our stay to make sure at least one of the rooms we had was on the first floor for my 88 year old grandma and they not only put their room on the 1st floor but the other too so we were all near each other. The breakfast choices were outstanding and plentiful. loved the pancake maker!! The pool was warm and inviting (my 9 month old niece loved that the most)! I will recommend this property to anyone who stays in Bradford. Thank you for your awesome hospitality!
Staff was often not at desk when needed- checking in, out, etc. Sign up at departure saying staff was away from desk- did not indicate when they would return. Several times staff was on personal cell phone, and short with us when assisting. The choices for breakfast were poor, and were not replenished, once again staff could not be found to request items. The coffee pods for in room coffee prep have been one of our favorite perks in the past. This time, they were Great Value brand. The toilet seat in our bathroom had a crack, and we attempted several times to let someone at the front desk know, but you cannot tell them these things if there is no one there. In short, this was a very disappointing way to use our loyalty “reward” points, and we will not be go out of way to continue to stay at IHG properties.
The staff was incredible helpful and friendly. And the room was clean and comfy. The only thing that we had an issue with was that the company we booked the room through claims that this hotel has no front desk but they do. So when we tried to inquire before checking in, we could not get through on the phone line. We tried 3 times and it just rang and rang. But once we arrived, the staff was great and the hotel was clean and comfortable.
Ive never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and had somewhat low expectations. But Im happy to say that, as a business traveler, this hotel met my needs and exceeded my expectations.I loved the little welcome package. Fitness room was equipped and in good shape; breakfast was well kept and very good. Internet was speedy. Room/bed were very comfy, but I think there was a plastic cover on my mattress. My only complaint is not to get a room next to the elevator... dinging all night is crazy making. If in the area again, I would be happy to stay here.
The place and staff were very nice. It was a little on the pricey side but overall it was good. My only real complaint would be the quality of the breakfast. Both the eggs and meat were horrible, they couldn’t have been anything more then frozen and warmed up in a microwave. Coffee was good though. Breakfast room was clean and the staff did stay on top of keeping the food stocked. And free USA Today, that was a plus.
My wife and I stopped here on our way home after going to a wedding. We were hoping for a nice relaxing night in a king suite with a whirlpool tub. What we received was a double bed room with a ADA shower. The shower had grime all over it, and the carpet so dirty my feet felt greasy after walking on the floor. We thought this must surely be a mistake and brought it to the staffs attention. The staff including the manager said they changed my room based on some preference sheet. I never saw this sheet, nor did they ever produce it. Instead of what I booked online, I was told I was stuck with the double bed since the room I wanted and every other room was sold out. I asked them to adjust the rate to cheaper room rate, and was given an outright No. I was given the card of the hotel manger and told to email him. He did respond that night, but was a parrot of the front desk. No room change, no rate change. In the end, I had to call the corporate help line to resolve the room switch, rate change, and poor customer service. After 45 frustrating minutes, my rate was lowered and points were added to my account for the frustration and poor service. A perfectly relaxing and romantic night had been lost. Had I known that they do this, I would have stayed at down the road for the same price. The manager has still ignored my follow-up request.
Thanks to the staff at the hotel, especially Jamie, for yet another great stay. I have never been in another hotel that provides both hot soup and fresh made cookies in the evening. The rooms are large and clean. The wifi is fast. Best hotel that I have found in the area and I am glad I found it.
My family all lives here. We stay here multiple times in the year and have recommended this location. Staff is so friendly. Rooms are quite nice and comfy. Sleep very well here. My brother stayed here too with his 8 small children in multiple rooms. They loved it and the breakfast staff couldnt have been more enjoyable to talk to and they asked multiple times what can they do to make our stay better or if the kids needed anything. Cant say enough good things about this location. Booking our Christmas stay already. Keep up the great work Bradford IHG.
I dont recommend this place. There are better choices around for similar pricea..The breakfast was very bad..there was no buffet...we need to ask for each item...there was only 1 person serving breakfast for whole people in the hotel. The whole facility is understaffed. Employees are very hardworking but they are under pressure of doing a lot of things beyond their capacity due to understaffing..the room was good and check in check out was great.DEAR MANAGEMENT PLEASE PUT ENOUGH STAFF TO PROVIDE SERVICES.!!
Very nice place to stay. Staff friendly and accommodating. Not allowed to have breakfast buffet, so someone in kitchen gave a plate to you instead of self-serve.Be careful coming in, the driveway is difficult to find and is winding next to a culvert. At night put on your brights and drive slowly.
I just spent a night there with my family on our way up to Niagara Falls. It was a great experience, the kids enjoyed the indoor pool while the adults were in the dinning room having some snacks. Staff is friendly and the breakfast is very good with multiple options.
From the moment of entry into the spacious lobby, we were delighted with our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was impeccably clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Loved the lighting attached to the headboards, the mirror door to the closet and the bathroom with its marble countertop. The facilities exceeded our expectations in all aspects and we will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.Great value and conveniently located.
When we got there in the middle of February our room window was open it was 18 degrees outside so you can only imagine how cold our room was it took forever to warm up. Also in the room under the foot rest were some old pills. Vending machine had no drinks in it. The swimming pool was cold. On the positive side the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good lots of different breakfast foods
My husband has been going through chemo and my son was accepted to Pitt-Bradford. We easily booked a room. I called the hotel and requested a super clean room since my husband has to watch germs while in treatment. The staff went above and beyond and the room was super clean. The front desk was very courteous as well. The breakfast staff was also great. My husband is restricted in using buffets . The breakfast attendant was kind enough to allow use to use a microwave safe container so that we could microwave buffet style food for him to eat. That was very thoughtful.
On a recent visit to Bradford for family death, we booked our room at the Holiday Inn because the hotel is the nicest one in town. Both the front desk clerk and the housekeeping staff were friendly and helped to make the room stay better than average. We felt the breakfast was not as good as before. The egg omelets were overcooked and tasteless. There were omelets every day instead of alternating scrambled. We use Greek yogurt and fresh fruit while travelling to maintain digestive balance. The fruit was dry clementines or brown soft bananas. There were no berries or melon available. Our biggest complaint is the pillows. They are so uncomfortable that both my wife and I woke up often during the night. We would prefer to have a chair in the room for reading and relaxation. We love the Keurig coffee maker but did not like the week blends offered. We would love to have a selection of medium and bold coffee.Overall this hotel was still a comfortable relaxing stay except for the pillow, less than standard breakfast, and the loud train warnings several times per day. The staff was wonderful and very courteous as usual.
We booked a family getaway and experienced a wonderful hotel experience. The staf was friendly, helpful and professional. We had a second floor room above the Great Room on the highway side, and had a miserable sleep. We asked to be moved for the second night and the staff was more than understanding. They gave us a third floor room on the parking lot side and we had one if the best hotel sleeps ever. We were moved in less than one hour. The breakfast was hot and constantly refreshed. We would definitely go back to this property the next time we are in Bradford.
This hotel is fairly new or looks that way. It was very clean. The staff may have been the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. Everything was great. I know others have complained about it, but there werent any trains during our stay. We slept perfectly well. The only negative was the quality of the eggs. Theyre processed and not made fresh.A pipe did burst and it started raining above the front desk. They had to shut off the water for a couple of hours, but we used that time to swim. I cant fault the hotel for the pipe, especially with all the subzero temperatures were having.I would definitely stay here again.
Nice hotel, Decent pool and adjacent area. Pool was way to cold to use, (could have cooled a beer in the pool.)Room was clean and quiet. Staff very friendly. Check in and out was a breeze. Breakfast is decent, recommended. No surprises, (other than pool)Would be nice if sauna was kept at mid level, so you can use without waiting 20 min to get up to temp, but I do appreciate the huge wastefulness of doing that, when not busy.
What a great experience all the way around. We stayed because our daughter was graduating from the college. The hotel was decorated and honored all the graduates and there families staying there. The staff was wonderful from check-in to check-out, to house keeping, and the breakfast was supreme. A large variety of food for those health nuts on the high protein diet, to those in our party who had dietary issues. Everything was accommodated. The rooms were clean, the pool was great, and there were cookies for the graduates and there families. Wow! The staff also provided great directions to the local casino and wonderful inexpensive restaurants. We have stayed here before and have never been let down. We will stay here again. Kudos to all of the staff.
What can I say but that our experience was great. From the time the doors open to the lobby and you greeted with a smile and welcome till we check out not with a bye but we will see you on your next stay. They made us feel welcome. The entire staff is so very helpful and friendly. They take the time to talk to you. We thank you for a wonderful stay and Yes we will see you again in July.
Not only is this hotel new and modern, the staff is what makes it! From the first Welcome hello and smile, to the warm smell of cookies and please enjoy one! To the good morning how was your sleep? And finally, Thanks for coming, come see us again.... The staff has it all I’m completely amazed that customer service is not dead. The staff was completely committed to making sure that my stay was fantastic I will definitely be back here thank you for making my stay fantastic along with making sure my boys felt welcome.
Ive never felt more comfortable when walking into an establishment. Each and every single staff member was so kind they greeted me with a smile and they were absolutely inviting at every turn. The hotel was clean my room was perfect the bed was comfortable the bathroom was clean the pool is great my family had a great time I will definitely be coming back thank you so much for making my stay wonderful!!
Hit this part of PA for some leaf peaking. Hotel staff were wonderful/ and assisted us finding supper. My wife and I felt the mattress felt like a cardboard box. Also the tub was slippery for me. I have bad knees and ankles and had trouble moving around in the tub and getting out. I finally put a hand towel on the tub floor to gain my footing.
The location of this Holiday Inn was next to a set of train tracks. There were either no trains while we were there or the train was not loud enough to bother us. The room we had could have been cleaner. The carpet felt worn and had stains. There was also pieces of dried mud or concrete around the room we tried picking then up, but they would crumble. The furniture had stains as well. Service was great though. People were friendly, attentive and tried to help as best as they could. During breakfast, the food items actually ran out because of the large number of people coming through. People were becoming grumpy from hunger, but the kitchen staff member handled it with Grace and reassured everyone food was being prepared and would be ready soon. Within minutes, hot omelets, buns, biscuits and sausages were out and ready.
Staying in Bradford is probably the only place to stay when you are going to an event in Smethport, Pa. Unfortunately, I had to put my makeup in the closet mirror facing the window as there just was not enough light in the bathroom. Very dim. Also, the curtains in the bedroom window did not close for privacy.
My 1st visit was very nice. it has gotten less nice based on the available personnel. This hotel is far superior to like hotels available.A few little touches can make it so much better. There are a lot of rooms taken up by workers on the highway projects, although a great source of revenue they do have an impact on the rest of us.they have large vehicles in the lot that give us very little room to park comfortably.
This was one of the best Holiday Inns that weve stayed at. We did have an issue -- housekeeping forgot to make up our room on our second day there -- but the front desk was very apologetic and immediately brought up fresh towels, etc. A rowdy group came in at 1:00 a.m. across the hall from us and woke us, but someone from the front desk immediately came up and asked them to be quiet (we did not have to call them) and it was quiet after that. The breakfast had more options than other places weve stayed and everything was clean and well-run. Staff was always very helpful. The lights in the bathroom could have been brighter, but otherwise the room was well laid out and comfortable with a lot of convenient features (such as outlets on the nightstand). We will definitely go back the next time were in the area.
Our stay was excellent. This was our second time staying here. The rooms and hotel are clean and updated. Loved the adjustable height showerhead and the large bathroom. They even give you choice of soft or firm pillows on the bed! Breakfast is very good with a nice variety of options. Next year, well book here again.
The bed was extremely high I am 5ft. 4in. tall and could barely get on it, I basically had to crawl and hurt my back from getting in and out. I tried using the ottoman but did not turn out well...I fell onto the floor 2 times that night once trying to get out of it!!! I ended up getting barely any rest as I eventually decided to sleep in the chair. Other than that all was fine...So if your young and fit,and can JUMP onto the bed this is a great place to stay.!
Love the continental breakfast and its assortment of breakfast items such as fresh baked cinnamon buns, the pancake machine was pretty Kool, and love the biscuits with the sausage gravy. The cleanliness of the room has room for opportunities to improve. Also, when a family with young kids book a room, I think they should be placed on the first floor (since kids like to run and jump around the room into wee hours of the night). Makes it unbearable for the hotel guests who are sleeping 1 floor underneath them to sleep through the night.
The rooms were very clean and updated. The stairway carpets were dirty throughout our stay. The cooked items at breakfast tasted strange and we eat at hotel breakfasts a lot while traveling. The yogurt and cold cereal were fine. Service at the breakfast was a joke. The lady there acted like we were bothering her. If you dont have all of your food on your table by the time breakfast is over watch out. They clear it out so fast even while people are still in line to get food. Never saw that before. The manager and staff were not very friendly and they didnt see to be very hospitable which is strange because their job is to help customers. If you HAVE to stop there then its fine and at least its a new hotel. If you can stay another exit down the road you might have a better stay.
Spent the day moving our daughter to college so we were looking to relax. Our room contained a King bed and Jacuzzi. The Bradford Holiday Inn Express is newer and the room showed no wear. After a 4 hour drive and moving our daughters belongings into her dorm room the Jacuzzi felt great . The bed was very comfortable and afforded us a great nights sleep. The room was very quiet. If there were guests in the rooms next to us we didnt hear them. The only hotel employee that we dealt with was the front desk clerk. She was extremely courteous, friendly, funny and most helpful. She was involved in both our check-in and check-out and she handled both in a spirited way. In fact, weve stayed at this hotel numerous times and the employees have always been great to us.Even though we arrivied for the free breakfast about 30 minutes before it was to end there was a great selection and quantity of food and drinks. The dining area was quite full and there was enough food for all. The staff made sure there was food available even though the breakfast bar was going to close in 15 minutes. The food was very good and we didnt feel rushed even though we ate late. The staff wasnt bustling around us like at other hotels cleaning off the food bar even though it was 10 minutes after breakfast had ended.During breakfast we had great conversations with other guests while dining. Everyone was friendly and eager to participate in conversations. We will stay in this hotel in the future. its convenient to the highway and is located in downtown Bradford. The only drawback is that even though its easy to spot while driving south on Rt 219 its confusing at first to locate the hotel. If they can post signs in the town of Bradford indicating their location that would be very beneficial. But the hotel is very much worth locating.
Thank you. We stay here anytime we are in the area and will be back in July. From the time you enter the lobby and are greeted with a welcome along with a friendly smile to a good morning when you enter into the breakfast and a friendly conversation with the staff cleaning your room. They make you welcome and it’s not a bye but we will see soon. That is the reason we come back. They set the standard for all the Holiday Inn Express we stay at.
I enjoyed this new hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful. The rooms are nice, modern, and clean feeling. I liked the set up and comfort of them. Breakfast was decent better than most continental breakfasts. I was disappointed in the work out facility. The room was tiny and there are only 3 machines. The only treadmill was broken. There is a YMCA less than a mile away so I went there. Also, beware that there are train tracks on the back end of the building so if you are a light sleeper ask for a room facing the front of the building. The positives definitely outweigh the negatives. I would and will stay here again.
I am so pleased with every aspect of my stay in this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was a great value for the money, the room was modern, clean and very nice. The breakfast was yummy too! I did not expect my stay to be so nice there, I have traveled a lot and most places are a lot more expensive for this kind of quality. In fact, I recently stayed in a small dumpy smelly room that barely had running water for the same price. If I visit this area again I will definetly stay here!Kudos to the staff!!!
I enjoyed my stay the room was clean and the front desk staff was friendly. There were never cookies in the evening or bananas for breakfast like there usually are, that was disappointing! When I asked the hostess she just replied I dont know why we dont have them this week. Maybe this was due to the holiday weekend as usually there are more choices for breakfast. Otherwise it was a great stay.
We were staying at the hotel on a trip to pick a chld up at college. The hotel and our room were very clean and inviting. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Our service at the front desk was professional and very courteous. Other staff that we met throughout the stay were friendly. And coffee all day - ahhhh the little things in life. After a long drive that was just lovely.
We were stayed at this hotel for a family wedding. It was great-the room was beautiful and roomy for our family of three. The bathroom was very nice but could use another light. The breakfast area was big enough for the flow of people when we were there. I also liked that it had a very casual feel to the space-so that if I wanted to come down in the evening to escape my family, I could without feeling like I shouldnt be there. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. While I didnt use the pool, my husband and son did and they seemed to enjoy it.The only suggestion I have is for directions and signage. We were coming from Pittsburgh and the street address didnt come up on our GPS. We ended up going past the driveway into the hotel. Better signage off the main road would be helpful.
We had to make a trip to repair a broken down vehicle, and we chose this hotel. We couldnt have made a better choice. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty to help us and make the stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were clean, we had a nice large bathroom that was clean. The breakfast choices were plenty and fresh. We couldnt have asked for better service or a place to stay when away from home.
Yes, the pillows and breakfast selections were great but that wasnt all. The hotel location was very convenient to the Interstate and National Forest and the hotel was new and well furnished. Our king-bed room was quiet, spacious, and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they even dressed up for Halloween night! Perfect for our two-night stay!
We arrived for a late check-in and were greeted by an extremely friendly front desk lady who informed us of the amenities of the hotel, including the fresh (and totally delicious) breakfast buffet in the morning, even to include the hours of the buffet, in a quick and efficient manner. The room was unbelieveable! Modern, clean (spotless!), well thought out to meet our needs as a family, but the needs of my being able to continue to conduct business while I was away!Beds were extremely comfortable and the additional comforter that we requested, was promptly delivered. Linens were clean and even look to be new and smelled fresh! Heating system work very well and did so quietly during the night.Other than the door to the bathroom not closing properly (minor repair), we were so pleased with our stay and the price, we will not be staying anywhere else! I am thankful I found this Holiday Inn now as we will be staying there the 3 times a year that we make the trip to Bradford.
So great place to stay quiet, staff smile at you make your day better people at the front desk so wonderful, BREAKFAST FOOD every morning so great who can beat that. So nice place to stay, and the cost it worth it for two days stay. Room are so clean nothing to worry
Nice environment Located on a pedestrian or walking street along the old town square in city. The hotel is an old building but well renovated into a 5-star hotel. We requested for an early check-in, it was approved, we request for a late check-out, it was approved also, even on a off season time, some hotel would not have approved it.The reception personnel were very helpful in advise on what to do in the city.Breakfast were good, will fresh fruits and juices, fried eggs, sliced salmons and everything you would want for breakfast.
This is a relatively new hotel. The overall condition is very good to excellent, but the work desk was never designed for work. It is too tall.Be sure to request they replace the matress pads that contain plastic sheets with regular matress pads. you will sleep much more confortably.Bring a flashlight for shaving. The bathroom lighting is stylish, but not useful. The staff ARE very attentive and go out of their way to assist with whatever you need.
Staff was helpful, knowledgeable and courteous at every encounter. It’s was easy to check in and check out of hotel. There was a relaxing atmosphere and decor to match. Other then the beds being too stiff for my personal preference, and a slight lack of seating in the room for more than one person, everything was comfortable.
Weve stayed at the Bradford Holiday Inn on 2 occasions and plan on going again, next month. The rates are reasonable and their breakfast is very expansive, they even had Greek yogurt that you could add toppings to. And the coffee was good. Not what I expected. For those of you who want a room with a view......dont bother.....however if you want to stay for comfort, cozy and a customer friendly staff, then this is the spot!
Very nice hotel with great staff. We had a small issue with our room and were immediately offered an upgrade. And, they made sure the room was adjacent to ours so we would not have far to move! Everything was clean and the girls loved the pool.I would suggest that the room doors be fitted with something that does not allow them to slam shut.I would definitely recommend this hotel and want to give a special shout out to Cindy at the front desk. She was a true professional, very friendly, and seemed deeply concerned with our satisfaction!
Usually Holiday Inn and IHG property’s are great places to stay. The hotel in Bradford is a nice property and the staff was very nice. I checked in and was looking forward to relaxing a little before a meeting. After entering the room I noticed that the chair had stains all over it. Went down to the fron desk and spoke to the gentleman. He gave me new keys to a different room and did not apligise for that. Went into the new room and the carpet was stained and there were cobwebs on the ceiling above the TV. Does anyone check the rooms before they are given to a guest?
On a family visit to my wifes parents, we decided to give the Holiday Inn Express another try. The first time we stayed there, the hotel was new but staff certainly was not ready. My wife and I decided to give this Bradford PA hotel another try.Wow! We are glad we did. From Check-in to Check-out, the staff was very friendly and courteous. They went above and beyond. One of the minor irritations we had in our first visit was unevenness of the food quality and presentation. This time it was very, very good with a very attentive Keeper of the Food. Hot was hot; cold was cold; juices not watery, eggs not burned, and a good cup of coffee. A great place to start the day.The property itself was landscaped with colorful flowers, nice lawns and full of welcoming appeal. The desk clerk whisked us through the check-in process and was the first person to say, If you need anything, just let us know but we heard that phrase from everyone on the staff. The room was clean and had a wonderful surprise....a jet tub to relax in. The bathroom was functional and well designed but more importantly, a great shower with excellent water pressure that stayed hot no matter how long you were in there. There was a refrigerator, microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. In the small cabinet, dishes were supplied as well. The mattress was a luxurious king size retreat. Along with the bedding and efficient climate control, we slept in comfort and well rested each morning. From the initial welcome, well maintained property , full breakfast, and easy check-out this hotel was truly a great experience at an economical price. Stay here and enjoy the comfort along with some very nice folks.
I was very much satisfied with my stay for the most part, the rooms are pretty spacious and clean. However the staff could learn to be a bit more welcoming. When are dealing with the public a smile and hello can go along way. I did read reviews about the train passing through fortunately Ive stayed at this hotel twice and never experienced the sound of the train.
I absolutely enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The staff was very friendly. My room was very clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is one of the best Ive had. They have a variety of things to choose from. I was also really happy to know that they offered coffee 24/7 as i had to leave pretty early in the morning and was able to get my morning coffee fix right there! I would highly recommend staying at the Holiday Inn Express!
Everyone was so nice. Even during this crazy covid time. I got to chat with the manager a while and even tipped the housekeeper for being so tentative. Would highly recommend if your traveling and would like a peaceful place to sleep. I stayed on the weekend, and I had a great time
My experience began by simply walking through the doors to the immaculate lobby. I was greeted by a very welcoming hello and how may I help you. Once it was determined I had a reservation, the staff grabbed my check in info and described the property and amenities and welcomed me as a Platinum guest. We made it up to the second floor and had no surprises walking into the well appointed room. We grabbed a coffee on the way out for the evening and we were acknowledged as we left. The beds were totally relaxing and the choice of pillows is a huge plus. The only issue with the room is the walls must be a tad thin as the guest in the adjacent rooms snoring kept us awake most of the night and the constant slamming of doors in the hallway. In the morning we were a little late arriving for breakfast and, when we arrived downstairs, there wasnt much left. The breakfast attendant went out of her way to accommodate us and made sure we had everything we needed and came over a couple times to check up on us. Checkout was a breeze and I got the feeling that the employees truly wanted to help guests, not just a job... Kudos to all!
We booked as a last minute weekend trip to Holiday Valley and it was the closest hotel with a vacancy. The hotel was 30 minutes from the resort, which wasnt bad, and the rate was reasonable for the quality. The staff was very friendly to my kids. The hotel was clean and appeared fairly new. The room was large and well appointed for the price point. Theres a grocery store next door. My kids were disappointed that the pancake machine was broken at breakfast. My only gripe was an excessively noisy group in the adjoining room, but that was not the staffs fault, and they quickly resolved the issue. Overall a nice, hassle free experience.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions of where to eat or shop. It was a close drive to the ski resort we were there for and easy to find. Also used our points which was great! Will definitely stay here again when in the area.
We called the hotel directly to make our reservation. The staff was very helpful on the phone and also when we arrived. The staff all seemed to really enjoy their jobs. Our room was clean and comfortable. There were several pillows on the beds. Some were very soft and other were firmer. The room was quiet.
I believe their names are Jody and Jamie. Excellent staff that you can be quite proud of in your hotel. It is because of them I will return. The gentleman with breakfast can be improved. His dress was not professional. He was pleasant and the food good. He just left the kitchen frequently. Both I and a delivery person would knock on the kitchen door yet he did not answer. He was not in the kitchen. Again Jody and Jamie were welcoming, professional, helpful, all you’d want in hotel staff. Thank you!!
Not all Holiday Inns are created equal. This one is way better than most especially for a small town. Highly recommended!Staff is great I just had a slightly poor experience while checking out hence the rating on customer service. I feel theres room for improvement there and the room was not cleaned properly.
The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was courteous and attentive. It was very cold and snowy outside but upon entering the hotel, it was warm and inviting. We were met with friendly staff upon check in.Although there were a lot of families there for a function in town, the dining area was clean and well stocked at breakfast.
Pretty standard Holiday Inn Express (this means it is a good value with a professional staff). The only issue is that things change (mask enforcement and breakfast) from location to location. The hotel is conveniently located right next to an exit off the 219 expressway.
This was a very pleasant stay. The recommendation for pizza was excellent (Napoli). They brought us a microwave when we requested one.In the morning, when I mentioned I was disappointed at the lack of simple egg and bacon, the lady taking care of breakfast made some just for me!! talk about good service.I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in the area.
Hotel was extremely clean and seemed brand new not sure when they opened. The rooms were very large and tons of outlets, huge bonus! There was a laptop table with chair beside bed, which was nice. Breakfast was good, although pancake maker was broke. Hotel staff was very courteous and worked efficiently.
Im really happy we choose this hotel. We traveled to Bradford from Pittsburgh for a funeral. They gave us early check in so that we could change out of our traveling clothes. The staff were very understanding and went out of their way to help us. Our room was clean and comfortable, the location of the hotel was convenient, and breakfast was very nice. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

2022-06-12Service was exceptional and the room we had was very nice and clean, breakfast was great with lots of choices. The one downside was the pool area with either too much chlorine or needs better ventilation. The pool itself was very nice though.

2021-12-17I typically try to stay at HIE because they are consistently good experiences. This stay wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great by any means. The hotel is located between a drainage ditch and a railroad track running along a freeway. The staff was friendly. Our room was big, two beds and a small couch. Everything was clean but needed updated. My biggest complaints with the room were the rock hard mattress and the touchy temperature controls. The room was hot and it was only when I turned the AC on to 60° did it cool down. And of course there was a herd of elephants above us. Breakfast was good and the food attendant was friendly.

2021-10-23The hotel was a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived an hour early and they checked us in early. The bed, and especially the pillows, were very comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was very good and very filling. The only complaint I have is that the pool wasnt heated. I chose the hotel because it had an indoor pool. The water was too cold for my liking so we didnt get to enjoy that. But, otherwise, it was a great stay.

2022-05-22The beds werent great but not the worst. The front desk lady was amazing and very accommodating. I accidently booked through reservations.com as I was in a hurry and was meaning to contact the hotel but the first result was an ad for them. I wish I could rate them as the lady knew what I was looking for but still led me to believe I was talking to the hotel anyway and charged me more and messed up my room as it was too small for our family but the lady took care of literally everything before we were even aware of the issue and brought up extra linens. The service was above and beyond.

2022-04-26Was quite disappointed in the cleanliness of this hotel. Carpeting in the room was disgusting! Bathroom was OK, but could have used a little more attention. Breakfast was not up to par, with no fruit or pastry options, just hot foods and cereal. Would not stay there again.

2022-05-08The hotel and the room were not clean. Dirty sheets and couch. Staff was friendly but no responsive. Staff spent most of their time chain smoking outside but they were friendly. The free breakfast was lacking food. Find a hotel in Olean instead.

2022-02-03The staff was super nice, breakfast was decent and the room was spacious, but for the price I expected more; it was a little dirty here and there, and for me personally, it was annoying that you cannot fully close the curtains

2021-10-18As far as service, cost, and cleanliness go, this hotel cannot be beat. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean and comfortable. For those who are considering this hotel, however, please note that its location next to a highway makes for a noisy night of sleeping. My daughter and I listened to white noise apps through ear buds on our iphones so that we could fall asleep. Bring earplugs! Other than that small matter, I recommend this hotel.
