Im a nanny seeking a family.Household Staffing are the most professional agency Ive come across.
After using several other agencies with mixed results at best, I was recommended to Starla and Household Staffing by a close friend who had successfully used their services. I have found Starla and her team to be very thorough, caring and responsive with terrific follow-up. Over the years, they successfully placed two care givers with my family that have been excellent for which we are very grateful.
I do not write many reviews however to show my deep appreciation and the hope someone else could experience my contentment, I wanted to share about Household Staffing. First my interviewing process was quickly set up and professionally executed by Ella T. She and the other staff were very kind and respectful. Within 2 days Ella verified my credentials, nanny references and background checks etc. And instantly began to introduce me to serious families seeking a nanny and/or family assistant. Ella stayed in constant contact with me sharing new job opportunities and often expressed her eagerness to get me happily booked. While I was seeking my perfect family fit Ella found me a temp nanny position immediately within a week of starting my process with Household Staffing. This has allowed me to take my time as I personally like to do when seeking my new permanent ongoing family fit. Ive already began to tell other nannies about this agency and will continue to remain in there database for years to come! Id like to add everything has been going amazing with the temporary family Im currently nannying for and the 2 children and parents love our interaction and expressed they would like to find a way to keep me on board. That being said Ella did a great job pairing me with them. I would encourage Families and Nannies to give Household Staffing a chance to help you with your search and needs! I couldnt recommend Starla or Household Staffing more highly. Starla completely understands the marketplace for household and child care staffing and seems to have a readily available Rolodex of qualified personnel seeking employment. She did a great job fully understanding my needs, preferences and situation; and then went out and came back with multiple ideas and candidates who fit the bill. Household staffing gets my highest recommendation! I am the mother of 3 young children and a pediatrician so my standards are pretty high…Starla and Lori were lovely, and worked quickly and efficiently. I have hired two positions through Household Staffing: a housecleaner and a nanny for my four kids. Starla has been easy to work with throughout the interview/hiring process. She found suitable candidates quickly. She understood the positions I was trying to fill and the type of person I was looking for. She sent me several candidates for each position that presented well and were qualified to fill the positions.I had to replace the housekeeper I hired after a month, through no fault of Household Staffing. Starla was quick to find replacement candidates. The replacement housekeeper that I hired is amazing! I am trained as a lawyer to be a critical thinker and a business lawyer who knows how to satisfy and exceed client expectations. I carried those expectations of me to every job throughout my professional and personal life. Because I work in the aviation and aerospace sectors, a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) plan is required.Without any reservation whatsoever, I recommend Household Staffing, its owner, Starla, and its employees: a CQI plan exists, even at a cost to the agency as it may not be legally required; I started working with the agency as far back as about as early as 2013. Ever since, the agency has been helpful, at every turn even when I made a decision to use an Au Pair service to save cost.Most importantly, when that au pair violated the terms of the Visa, and was automatically deported upon an attempted return to the US from a vacation, and even though, I didn’t select the agency, the agency provided immediate child care services because I did not want to allow lack of childcare to be the reason I cannot perform my job or risk the continued academic success of the children.A 2019 example occurred at 11 p.m. on a Monday holiday weekend. I found myself without childcare services the next day. The agency went so far as to send one of its own staff members immediately the next day earlier than 6 a.m. and until I returned home from work. The person, a recruiter by profession, took only just that first day, after which all 3 children asked, “Dad, can that lady be our new nanny?” Kids asked me why the au pair was so different from the nanny we had in Los Angeles (before we re-located locally for work), the only answer that rang true: the LA nanny treated you as if you were her own children; that person instead used the process improperly even risking best childcare. Treating children as if they were their own is what Household Staffing and its personnel provide.All the superb qualities on the website and in the reviews of other clients remain not only true but should be bolstered with by the instances above. I suggested that Starla, allow ranking on a 5 Star scale, with the option to clients to self-rank higher as do airlines, hotels as 7 Stars. She said, the simple 5 Star rating is accurate because she expects that every written 5 Star rating is what she considers to be required of all 5 Star rankings. Yet, I request your trust because this is a 7 Star entity. I trust in the agency’s continued support and recommend any potential or existing client do the same.

Excellent service. I have used multiple agencies in the past, but this is the first one where I felt like the people I worked with were interested in what I wanted, listened to me and tried to find exactly what I needed. They treated me very well, listened to my instruction and helped me find an excellent person to help watch my son. All of the people I met fit the description of what I wanted. I hauled an early childhood education degree, and 20+ years of experience In childcare. I absolutely love working with children and animals! I am very passionate about what I do for work, and I work part-time as an animal care specialist, also on my free time I rescue animals and I bring them back to health. I make sure they find forever loving homes and I do it for free with my only concern being that they find loving and kind parents, usually they are in a bad shape emotionally and physically. I put all my energy and love to help them recover and find their way back to trusting humanity. She is always accessible and really dedicated. 2022-03-07I worked with Ashley and Starla to find a nanny for our kids. We had been using a different agency, but hadn’t found a good fit after 2 months with them. This was getting stressful in a household with 2 full-time working parents. At that point I called Starla and explained the situation, and she and Ashley set to work immediately. 2 weeks later we had our first call with the nanny we eventually hired.Starla is very well-connected in the area (our nanny came through her network) and Ashley hustles days, nights, and weekends and is always available to chat through anything. They were very honest in their assessment of candidates, our needs and budget as a family, and if we were likely to be successful in our search. They treated our time and specific family needs with the utmost respect and confidence, and as such earned our business.We just wish we had gone with them earlier.

2022-01-01I have worked with Lauren to find me a position and I cant tell how professional, caring and responsive she is. Lauren is always checking on me to make sure I fell comfortable and she went above and beyond for my best interest, which you cant always find in nanny placement. Not only she matches you with the perfect family but she also make sure the family is comfortable and value you. I cant see myself working with any other agency or even looking for someone else to help me find the best family than Lauren. I highly recommend her 1000%. I have never felt comfortable with an agency than Household Staffing and especially Lauren.

Lauren was professional, transparent, highly responsive (including often in the evenings and over the weekend), proactive and a pleasure to deal with. Equally as important, she was direct, thorough and always had our familys best interests at heart. It was clear from the beginning that she just wanted to help us find the right fit and was never pushy. While I was impatient and worried about my career with children House Hold Staffing was a miracle to my life.
