If you want great food from lunch sandwiches to sausage for dinner, you cant come to a better place! Oh and if you have a party you want catered, I highly recommend this business, I would never consider another!
Our family had a wonderful dinner this past weekend catered by DeFranco’s. We had trays of lasagna, meatballs, chicken Marsala, and antipasto salad. It was all delicious and plentiful, (we are having warm ups today)! We sat outside on our patio surrounded by lilac, good food, good wine and great fun. We are so thankful for their hard work - especially at this time.
We live in Stroudsburg and its well worth the drive. Everything on the menu is amazing and we had their catering for our wedding a few months ago. I cant say enough about the family AND the food. Make sure to buy the book and learn about the familys history as well
Awesome hidden place ! Got a chicken parm , cheese steak , itilan hero an Turkey an cheese . Would recommend any of them very fresh an authentic . Prices are unmatched for the quality of the food imo. family atmosphere even in the small setting ! You will not be disappointed supporting this local business.
Stopped by for a breakfast sandwich while I waited for a doctors appointment nearby. Sandwich was really tasty and big. Coffee was fresh. Great service.
Came here on a whim after driving by many times and man am I happy we did. It is takeout only but the food we got was cooked to order and it was delicious! My grandfather said its the best steak sandwich he has had in years the prices are fair and the food is cook excellently.
AMAZING. Was looking for a caterer for our small wedding (30ppl) and after our event yesterday I will be going back again and again. The food was delicious, presentation was beautiful and the service was great - they even included a personalized thank you note ❤️. They are a little off the beaten path for us but they are now at the top of our take out list. Highly recommend Joe and Joelene for any event you may be having it just a regular dinner.

Just had one of their weekly specials - a black bean and zucchini burger and it was so delicious! Great flavor and fresh ingredients (rolls, produce and sauce).Our office ordered lunch from here and everyone loved it. I definitely would try more from DeFranco & Daughters Catering :)
I stopped by here after visiting the megalith park over off of Fox Gap Road.What a great surprise to walk in and although it looks unassuming . . . .Was pleasantly surprised at the freshness and flavors just in the Philly cheesesteak and 6 meatballs to go.Everything was cooked to order by Joe with his lovely wife taking care of the front. Its tucked back off of Rt 191 and you will love it the food!!
Do you want the best bang for your buck in the area? Go see Joe and Joelene! They are the best caterers in the area and maybe further away too! It is in Joes blood to make and serve the best food! and what beautiful platters he makes also! They say you eat first with your eyes ... and his stuff is beautiful...and then you taste it... and you are NOT disappointed!If you get a chance to pop into this teeny tiny place with giant flavors... go have a quick espresso with Joe! Just had one of the best sandwhiches ever. Best I’ve had outside of Parisis on Mott St in NYC. Good quality fresh bread and enough chicken cutlet for a small family. Chicken was perfectly cooked. Greens were fresh and garlicky. $10 was a bargain. I was thinking about what I would order during my next visit after the first bite. If you like old school sandwhiches come here and eat. Worth the drive
Italian hot dogs that are the real deal! It is a half hour from my home and I gladly drive it! All the food..fresh and delicious. Great service..good people.
A delight! Great homemade Italian Meals. Weekly Dinner Specials. Open 7am to 8pm.Lunch sandwiches. Soups and salads. Eat at outside tables or take out.Hidden away but very close to the towns of Pen Argyl and Roseto. A mile or so off of State route 512.
Best food ever. If youre Italian decent, or just wish you were, youve got to try this place. Homemade braciole, best sausage ( if you like heat, try the Vesuvio) etc., etc.. Fantastic daily menu items, and open 7 days a week. You owe it to yourself to try their soups and great Sangwitches. They also have a fantastic Catering menu.
Communication skills are seriously lacking. Dont ask questions or you will be scolded. If you feel comfortable using a caterer who doesnt like you knowing specifics regarding how they will handle your event, then this is the one for you!

2021-12-28Stopped in while just driving by. Owners were so nice! They made me a delicious gluten free sandwich. Hard to find a good tasting bread but this was really good! Ingredients were fresh. They even taped the packaging on the sandwich with masking tape. Totally reminded me of the Italian deli I went to as a kid. Would definitely recommend!! Plan to go back when they reopen after the holidays!

2022-05-07I went along with a friend to pick up her order. She loves this place! She orders what she calls Easter Pie every year. It must be really good because we drove a very long way to get here. (Shes from Northampton.)

2022-05-05Had the Brooklyn Cheesesteak (amazing this must be tried) and Italian Hoagie (delicious). Tried both the italian soft roll and the semolina roll and both were very good italian rolls, the semolina was slightly better. Hands down the best in the area. Looking forward to trying more of their menu.

2021-08-27You wont go home disappointed with any of the purchases here. The atmosphere reminds me of tiny on the inside but full of a larger character in taste and etiquette. Catering offered and we will take them up on that. Anyone looking to work in a mah and pops shop ought to meet these charming couple.
