Jerry is brilliant at building and fixing computers. I have trusted him for decades.
Owner is superb at computer knowledge and repair. Ive spoken to him many times over the past 9 years. Fair, knowledgeable, caring! I highly recommend JDL for computer questions, concerns and fixes.
Jdl was great. dropped my computer off on Thursday and he called me Tuesday morning with it working just like it should. my hard drive died completely and he was able to save all my pictures and files and get them right in a new one. computer runs perfect again. he also took the time to explain how everything worked and how you should always back up your stuff incase of this situation. great guy and will go to him for all my future computer needs. also he was very reasonable on price.

I noticed my computer getting sluggish rather quickly one day and knew that something was amiss. One call to JDL and he took it the very next morning. I had somehow contracted a rootkit even though I had never heard of such a thing! Within one days time of working on it, I had that nasty rootkit gone and everything back to better than normal!I am a repeat customer here and have taken several computers here for various issues. Each time I am greatly impressed with the knowledge and great service I receive here. Everyone should check them out! They do just about anything you might need and its a more convenient location than driving up to Peach Street or going somewhere downtown.THANK YOU, JDL! The man is very smart and know what he is doing. He solved a problem with my familys computer them seem almost unsolved able. He also has good prices for anyone in the area. Yet, he could have longer hours, but other wise its good service for the money you would pay.
Jerry is a computer genus! He can fix just about any problem & he can build a better computer than what you can buy in a store. Jerry is very trustworthy & fair.
When all the big box stores said, Time to buy a new computer, JDL repaired my older Acer laptop, at a very reasonable cost. And its still running!

2022-02-09+1 star for owners knowledge, and prompt text upon return of vacation. Seemed nice enough.-1 star of owner being inconsiderate and not letting us know about a delay of over a week due to scheduled vacation when this laptop repair was urgent.-1 star for incompetent staff that gaslights. “I’ll call this evening” never calls. “I’ll text you” texts 3 days later. Had to show up in person 3 times to get him motivated.-1 star for charging almost double upon told price and only fixing the computer halfway-1 star for the time it took to fix a blacked out screen I could have fixed given the amount of time.Took wife’s computer here expecting nothing but perfection due to the reviews about 15 days ago. Owner took laptop, and said he would work on it immediately and get back to me. I Called 2 days later and he was “out sick”. No problem, it happens, right? I call 2 days later, and get a voicemail that he is on vacation all this week…Hmm that would have been nice to know ahead of time, when My wife needed her laptop…. I decide to stop in and an employee indicates he’s working on it and it will be done “tomorrow” and definitely around 65.00 price range (I asked)…. Fast forward several days of delays and excuses, the owner returns and tells me my laptop is repaired partially and the bill is 106 bucks. Says webcam is a hardware issue, and needs replaced. Will cost an additional 150. I don’t fault him for this, however it’s left a sour taste in my mouth.

2021-04-26My laptop battery was not charging so I called Jerry in the morning and he gave me instructions on what to do. He said to call him back if it didnt work. I called him back and he said I could bring my laptop in to have him check it out. I went to his shop and he immediately waited on me. He had my laptop up and running in less than ten minutes!!! When I asked him the price for his assistance, he said he was glad he could help and there was no charge!! I will be using Jerry from now on for any computer services!!! In this day and age, its rare to find someone who will help and not rip you off!!

2020-12-03I took my custom-built PC to JDL to have the graphics card looked at. While it turns out the GPU was fried (as I had feared), he had it checked over and diagnosed within a few hours of dropping it off. Not only was he quick and friendly, but he didnt charge me a dime for looking it over! He even offered advice for my next upgrade. I will definitely be returning for any of my computer needs.

2019-04-15I needed to upgrade hard drives on two desktops and a laptop for my business. I explained the needs Id have for upgrading my computers. Jerry accurately and effectively assessed the situation then provided me with clear solutions. The pricing was more than reasonable. Most impressive was the prompt turnaround time on the work. I couldnt be without the main computer for more than a day. He had the first computer back to me within a day! I strongly recommend JDL Computers for hardware and networking solutions. 2019-02-05Would definitely recommend JDL for your computer repair needs. Brought my computer in on Friday (Had a bad hard drive) Theycalled me Monday afternoon told me it was all fixed and they wereable to mirror my old hard drive onto the new one. Which meant I didnot have to load or configure anything brought it back to my officeplugged it in and it took off and did everything it was suppose to likeit never had a problem. The computer is also faster because of the newerimproved hard drive.
