If you don’t have insurance, or you have low income and cannot afford to pay for a visit, you will be denied of service. The receptionist will suggest you to use other urgent care offices. If you need urgent Covid test they will deny service. They will offer doctors appointment to make a proper justification for billing for the services they should provide free of charge as per free federally approved programs.
Not thrilled with how they do their paperwork but medically theyre as sharp as they get. Theyve been working on a leg injury I suffered. They could do a lot more for stranded patients like me not sick enough to get to the ER but in need of regular prescriptions etc. I shouldnt have to visit each time I need a single refill of medicine Ive been taking since I was ten. Common sense could use a seat at the table next to the taxpayers who help fund this vital medical service.
This is by far the Best experience and a life saver. My husband was feeling sick around the holidays and was trying to tough it out because going to an ER just sounded horrible. We found the this location from quickrcare.com a we were able to reserve a spot to avoid waiting in person. the staff was amazing and the greeting to check out was super fast. Good thing we got there before my husband got worse. He felt better almost instantly. Thanks everyone for what you do!
So I came here in pain and a worsening problem and when I asked them if they could give me an eta after waiting 90 minutes their response was. “I don’t know if you want you can come back later and please shut your door.” I understand that they are busy, but they just leave u hanging out while you are in pain. It never happened here before, but I guess this is the new normal.
Pleasant office but they need better and knowledgeable staff. I came in with my issue, they took x-rays and saw the doctor. I was sent home and told to take Tylenol. I went to the ER 2 days later. They missed 2 fractures in my body. So a wasted use of insurance and business. Ive worked in healthcare 20 years but never experienced anything like this.
Went in with groin pain, wasn’t even seen by a doctor, only a rather rookie p.a and was sent out the door in ten minutes with no useful advice. Paid the full cost of the bill and then received another bill to my address stating I hadn’t paid Completely. Despite my challenge to this, they kept sending the bill. I paid to avoid collections, but I will never again use any Jefferson associated service. Disgraceful treatment.
In February I called the urgent care and was told an evaluation plus 1 intervention would cost me $150 out of pocket because I did not have insurance at the time. I asked specifically again explaining my food needing an X-Ray and they said that would be the intervention and I paid the $150 up front. Two weeks later I received a bill for an additional $170 for office outpatient new 20 minutes equaling $240 and the X-Ray costing $80. I did not pay or call due to life getting in the way but just received a call from collections. I will be calling billing tomorrow to address this as it looks from this feed I am not the only one who this happened to. Other than this, the service was great and I was in and out in UNDER 20 minutes.
I arrived right after it opened on a Tuesday, and they took me back within 10 minutes. I went for knee pain, and a possible running injury. I was in and out quickly, and the staff were all attentive and friendly. They took x-rays, gave me a copy of the scans, wrapped my knee, and sent me off with a card for an appointment I should make at specialists office. The office was clean and nice. Im pleased with my visit and would recommend Jefferson Urgent Care to anyone!
Dr. Laurence Anderson was very professional and experienced. He was patient in addressing all questions/concerns, thorough in explaining diagnosis/treatment, and ensured necessary prescription/OTC/referral/follow-up. The nurse was also great (I wish I caught her name, as I only found the provider’s name on the visit summary) - kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. There was no wait on a Sunday morning and the whole visit was quick. Convenient hours at 8:30am-8:30pm 7 days a week.
They greet you and are very private don’t make you feel like your a bother and are courteous and listen to you & hear your concern. If you rather a man the lady Dr. or vice versa they make accommodations. Your dealing with adults not young staff that gossip beyond the scenes . They’re great
Fast, Friendly, Affordable! If I could give them more stars, I would. The care was fantastic and the cost was even better. And much faster then an emergency room visit.I went for my first time on a Friday afternoon. Upon entering I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly face. I was asked to fill out a simple form and show a photo ID. I am self-pay (no insurance) so that was all that was necessary. There was only about 4 people waiting in front of me. There were 2 TVs in the waiting room. One had the volume muted, the other was on and a bit loud for me. I asked the receptionist if there was a quiet room to wait. There wasnt but she pleasantly offered to turn the volume down. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. I waited maybe 10 minutes before I was called into a patient room by a nurse. This friendly nurse immediately took my vitals and asked questions regarding my visit. Shortly after that, I was taken for X-rays. The technician was careful, competent, and friendly. I returned back to the patient room and waited 10-15 minutes for the doctor. He was efficient, approachable, and knowledgeable. He seemed generally concerned with my situation, provided a plan of care, and encouraged me to follow up if necessary.I waited for my prescription, my X-ray on CD, and returned to the receptionist to pay. (Note, if you pay cash in full, you get a substantial discount).I went home and followed the Dr.s plan of care. The following day I received a follow-up call from the Dr. on call that day to see how I was doing. This was shocking to me. I have been to several emergency rooms many times, I have NEVER received a follow-up call from anybody. This Dr. also seemed genuinely concerned for my well being and encouraged me to follow-up with any concerns.I could not have been more pleased with my experience at Jefferson Urgent Care and will definitely go there in the future when the need arises.
I went in with some dehydration and a possible flu case. The wait was only about 20 minutes (much less than any other walk-in Ive been to) and the nurses and doctors were WONDERFUL. So kind and caring, they were respectful and humorous in a way that made me completely comfortable. I will be keeping them at the top of my list for urgent care in the future!
I went into the urgent care with severe rib pain, new fever and congestion after having just a cough for about a week. The front desk was extremely kind and helpful. Once I got called back, the nurse (a short, small framed, white, dark blonde haired woman with glasses) was walking really fast and stopping annoyed that it was taking me so long to walk, took me to what seemed the furthest room possible and continued her indifferent annoyed demeanor through the questions. She wrote a few things on the summary that we didnt even talk about and completely dismissed my rib pain. She claims I had 3/10 pain on the sheet (she didnt even ask me) when I was crying trying to answer her questions. The doctor was kind also but also dismissed the rib pain and didnt give me anything to do for it but take Tylenol even when I asked him. Thankfully another nurse came in for a sample and she was much more compassionate. She gave me Tylenol and found me a closer bathroom toGive the sample. Overall I would go again, it was fast, clean, competent care in a pinch. I would just hope I would get the second nurse.
I came in with kidney pain, assuming I had a kidney infection since Ive had one before and recognized the signs. I told the doctor, Kyle Wassermann, and he took what I said into consideration and was so helpful. He ended up sending me to the ER where they ran tests, but his whole team at Jefferson Urgent Care was so sweet and caring. They helped me get an Uber to the ER and made sure I was well looked after. Cant say enough kind things about him and his team. Would definitely recommend to anyone if they want quick and thorough care.
Great location, possibly the best urgent care Ive ever been to! The wait was super short, and they had a TV, charging station, and coffee/water in the waiting room. There were also masks and hand sanitizer at the entrance, for customer use. The first time I went, for a severe finger injury, I was treated by Dr. Mirin---he was awesome! His bedside manner was excellent, he was very kind and knowledgable, and he gave me a reccommendation to see a surgery practice where he would shortly be a patient (always great to know that the Doctor uses the services they reccommend). While the nurses were finishing my splint, he even took the time to do extra research on my condition, and brought me a card for the refferral. On my second visit, for what turned out to be the flu, I was treated by Dr. DiBruno---she was also awesome! I was disgustingly sick when I entered, so I put on a mask, and the staff was still very pleasant even though Im sure I looked like a walking germ. This time the wait was even shorter---the first time I waited for about three minutes maximum, the second time I didnt even sit, as they took me right back. When I got back there, the Eagles game was on in the examination room, which is so Philly, and so excellent! I was very quickly seen by the nurse, who also had no problem interacting with my grossness (I know thats their job, but still, I appreciated it), and she swabbed me right away for potential conditions. Shortly thereafter, the Doctor came in and did some additional assessments before letting me know that the flu test takes 15 minutes---she wanted me to know they werent ignoring me, which was very thoughtful of her. When she came back, she informed me that I did have the flu (even though I DID get the flu shot, oh well), and that she had prescribed me Tamiflu aka Oseltamivir. I was told to hit the couch and stay there, which I most definitely did. The prescription was ready right away when I went to Rite Aid.At the conclusion of each visit, I did not have a co-pay, though they are able to bill them should a patient have one.Overall, I would and have absolutely reccommended this clinic for urgent care; it is in a cool building, has a continuing patient center, and is very close to SEPTA stops---including the 38, which is super helpful since it is a popular route. Please give this place a visit next time you need care!
I have no complaints about my experience at Jeff Urgent Care at Washington Square. It was a busy Friday night and there was about an hour and half wait to see the doctor in total (waiting area+ treatment room) but thats kind of par for the course on a Friday evening. Truthfully, Ive waited this long to see my GP when the office was busy, so I cant complain. The entire staff ( reception and medical) were professional, efficient. courteous and friendly. The facility is immaculate with a comfortable waiting area, including a complimentary beverage kiosk and a nice area set up for kids to color and watch kid type shows. There are flat Screen TVs throughout the waiting area and treatment rooms and even a complimentary phone charging center in the waiting room. There is a security guard at the front entrance and deeply discounted parking at the parking garage at the Curtis Center (reception gives you the voucher to give the parking attendant, just make sure to ask for it when you check in). The doctor was knowledgable and thorough, I had diagnostics and treatment done on site. I wouldnt hesitate to go back again.
Better than nothing, but go somewhere else if it is serious. Ive been treated there three times. Two were fine, but my injuries were minor (no stitches).Once they told me I had no broken bones, which turned out to be wrong.Another time I showed up in a lot of pain and there wasnt much of a sense of urgency. After poorly bandaging my wounds (they were exposed - no tape or anything), they told me to limp my way down to the ER several blocks away, so I did. Really bad experience.
I have been coming here for years since I don’t have a primary care doctor up here and I’m originally from Dallas. Each time the doctor did their due diligence to figure out what was wrong with me. I typically come in because I have serve muscle spasms and I need steroids and muscle relaxers. I’m in severe pain and can’t even move. The doctor Jennifer White comes in and I tell her and all she does is touch my back and asked “have you tried a massage?” Why would my first thought be to try a massage when I can’t even stand up straight or move? I felt insulted like my pain was underestimated probably because I am young. She didn’t ask if I could stand up, move to the side, or anything. It was honestly one of the worse doctor visits I’ve ever experienced.
I went to this urgent care with a severe sore throat. Doctor gave me a strep test which came out negative then just told me to take a bunch of over the counter medicine to manage symptoms. None of these meds helped and I was sick for TWO weeks. It finally cleared up then a month later I had the SAME issue and went back, this time with a new doctor. Doctor told me my throat looked awful and gave me Penicillin which cleared it up in two days! Why should I pay $280 for the first appointment if the doctor didnt correctly prescribe me the antibiotics I needed to heal?
Hands down one of the best experiences going to a place like this Ive had in my life. Quick wait, staff were all attentive and sweet, nurses were professional and my doctor was very thorough and down to earth. Able to explain everything I was feeling and they really took the time to hear it out and made a point to leave no stone unturned. Walked away a half hour later feeling confident in the diagnoses I got. Glad this place exists.
Just visited Jefferson Urgent Care for an infected fingernail. Everyone from reception to nurses and doctor were very nice and the place was spotless and beautiful. However, when I walked out, happy to have a prescription for my nail, I called to notify my pharmacist who informed me that the prescribed medication is not covered by any insurance plan; there is no generic; and the cost to me would be $750.00 plus! So, a total waste of my time because who is going to pay that unless you’re dying? I feel the prescribers should look at the price and insurance coverage, which I know is available for them to see online when they prescribe, and to mention the costs for the medication before letting a patient walk out thinking: “I got treated”, when actually I now have to go to my doctor tomorrow again anyway and figure out another alternative. This is not how a Jefferson Urgent Care Center should be operating. It does not benefit the patient who has not been fully informed. How wasteful and ridiculous to prescribe a medication which is unaffordable to most of the population of the United States, including Philadelphians.
STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH.They took x-rays and told me my hand was “fine, just swollen.” Only saw the nurse practitioner for a minute or so, just long enough for her to tell me she thought she saw something on the x-ray but “it was nothing.”A week later my hand didn’t feel right, so I went to a real doctor and sure enough my hand was broken. The doctor could tell immediately. Two days after the diagnosis I was rushed into hand surgery to put pins in my hand because, as I was told, “if I waited any longer I would have to get intense reconstructive surgery.”Now I’m sitting here with pins in my hand, and Jefferson Urgent Care wants $325 for a whole lot of nothing. The people that work here are very nice, but this is not a location where you will receive the best medical advice.STAY AWAY.
READ THIS: THEY LIED ABOUT ME HAVING A $0 CO PAYI was told my copay would be $150.00 at a different urgent care; I told them it was toooo much. So I called Jefferson Urgent Care and told them how my copay was $150 at this other Urgent Care and asked what my copay would be there, the people at Jefferson proceeded to ask for my insurance policy number. After providing all of the information and a brief hold, the woman told me that I was lucky and had a $0.00 copay!!! she joked I should leave that other urgent care and come on down!!SO I DID.(Even after being seen I went to the front desk to make sure about the copay. The woman looked it up and said Nope you have no copay!. Thinking this was true I went back AGAIN for a different issue later in the month)Well just got billed for my first walk-in.MY CO PAY WAS IN FACT $200.00 PER. VISIT.When I spoke to their billing department they said nothing could be done.I would not have left the first urgent care if I knewNever. Ever. Going. Back.
I went to this urgent care almost two weeks ago for flu symptoms. They checked me for strep throat instead ... 🙄 and found I had no strep throat. Instead I had a virus, so they told me to just take Tylenol or Motrin and rushed me out. I noticed that day that my throat was red, inflamed, and looked strange for them to send me away with nothing.About 3 days later my symptoms got much worse and my tonsils were so swollen that I couldn’t eat. I called them back to follow up was put on hold for 20 min just to be told to come back in and spend another $100...Absolutely not.I instead went to a fantastic and thorough Patient First in Cherry Hill that did blood work and tests finding out that I had a severe case of tonsillitis. They gave me a shot and EVEN gave me medicine to take!
So the other reviews are true. The doctor is condescending and rude and I couldnt help but wonder in the minute I spent with him if (best case scenario) he possibly had some form of aspergers. He said his diagnosis as he started to walk out the room and looked irritated when I had questions about one of the medications. Fairly surprised because the nurse and medical assistant were really nice. He seemed bored and like he would rather not be bothered by patient arrivals.
Do not go here. I went in to have a PPD skin test. I waited 75 minutes in a patient room. During this time I heard them using patients FULL NAMES and talking about their cases outside my door. When a medical assistant finally came in, he fumbled around with the needle and asked me what my name was AFTER he injected me. I showed up to have my test read 48 hours later. The front desk staff couldnt find me in the system. Turns out someone spelled my name wrong. When I had my test read by a nurse I was told I was supposed to have paperwork, which I never received. I explained what happened on Monday and she said its not an excuse but I heard Monday was really chaotic. All around unprofessional, and more importantly, unethical treatment at this location. As someone in healthcare, I found this entire experience to be atrocious.
I rarely write reviews especially complaints but this was absolute worst experience ever! The least caring staff! I was waiting 50 minutes (!) in the waiting room and when I said I needed to leave for work, so then almost immediately they let me in the exam room where I waited next 30 minutes! The only response I was getting was:Not too long, we will be with you shortly. 1,5h wait in the middle of workday is absolutely unacceptable! It wasnt even busy, there was one person when I came in! The doctor unfortunately was very ignorant. 10 minutes later I left with no solution given. Never again!
I thought it only happened in movies: I walked in ... no wait ... friendly receptionist checked me in ... was guided me straight to a consulting room ... no wait ... charming nurse immediately took my vitals... no wait ... doctor walked in, attentive, friendly, empathetic, good listener ... no wait ... returned in 2 minutes with prescription, thorough notes on my condition etc.Best experience in a medical facility, hands down.
I hurt my knee a few weeks ago, and so I went to Jeffersons Urgent Care. I told them I did not have insurance and would be paying cash. I asked them how much it would cost, and they said $150. I then asked if they did X-Rays because other urgentcare centers did not and how much would that cost. The woman at the front desk said yes, they do, and the X-Ray is included in the $150. It sounded a little too good to be true, because I know X-rays can be pricey, so I ask again just to make sure. She repeats that.Ok, cool. I pay.Imagine my surprise 2 weeks later when a bill for an additional $120 comes in the mail. On the bill, they show what they charged you for, what you payed and what you owe.The visit: $225The X-Ray: $80Self Pay discount: -$40Patient payment: -$150Total Balance: $115.41WHAT? This is infuriating. Im paying out of pocket, and I have no insurance, so I need you to be up front with me about the costs, not give me a fake number to trap me then blindside me with an additional bill afterwards. If its $300, fine, I would have payed that up front. Idk if its that the nurses at the front desk were new or what, but I need them to be on the same page as whoever does the medical billing.
Both times Ive been to this location theres been no wait at all, and Ive been in and out in less than 20 minutes. Last time I went I had been sick for ten days and had even gone to the ER earlier in the week and the ER didnt help me, but the doctor here listened to my symptoms and immediately figured out what I was sick with. I got better in less than a day and regret not going here in the first place. I highly recommend this place
TL;DR: Waste of money and time, and some sketchy activity.I went to Jefferson Urgent Care with lower abdominal pain, which had been bugging me for a week. The receptionist was nice and the wait time to see a doctor was not more than 15 minutes. Before I saw the doctor, a nurse came in to measure my temperature, blood pressure, and ask me for a urine sample. After that was taken care of, she left and the doctor came in. I told him what was bothering me and that I thought it might be a kidney stone (Ive had a kidney stone before, felt sort of similar), and that maybe I should have an ultrasound done. He responded by saying that basically, no matter what bothered me then, as long as it didnt cause me severe pain, there was nothing he could do.He suggested to take Advil, and if I experience more intense pain -- go to the ER.Thats it. We paid $150 co-pay and left.A month later, we got a bill from the Jefferson Hospital that we had to pay $175 more. So, with the co-pay it sums up to $325 total. For what? Good question. We called Jefferson support center for details. They checked my profile and were absolutely confused about the bill. There were no diagnosis, no prescriptions, or any additional procedures mentioned on my file. They told us theyd call us back.Fast forward: turns out I had a Visit with 2 interventions. Remember the nurse? Apparently, she is a nurse practitioner.Which means that even though she is doing what a standard nurse would do, her services are charged at doctors price... So, heads up?---To sum it up:How long was the visit? - 10 minutesHow much was the visit? - $325Was I diagnosed? - NoThe number of times I was asked if I was pregnant - 5 totalWill I go there again or recommend it to anyone? - Definitely not.---To make a wonderful experience even better, I went to a different hospital a week after my visit because the pain was too much. The doctor there suspected a cyst and sent me to get an ultrasound done ASAP — Turns out he was right, it was a cyst.Once the US results were ready, the doctor prescribed me medication, and now Im healthy and happy. The second hospitals prices, for comparison: doctors visit was $25 (they have discounts for travellers like me), and the ultrasound was $125.The moral of the story: dont go to the Jefferson Urgent Care or you might end up leaving with something serious undiagnosed.Oh, and youll overpay.
I took my 6yr old,who displayed signs of the flu, 2 weeks ago on Sat. They were supposed to open at 8:30 am. At 8:45 am they had a line of people waiting to get in. I called their phone # and asked if they were open. Yes, was their response. I then had to tell them the door was still locked. The receptionist was surprised and told me that she didnt know how to unlock that door. Apparently she found someone who could. We were seen and the doc on duty determined it was just a virus without testing him for flu. I even asked if they would test himI was told no because Philly was out of liquid Tamilfu anyway. After visiting our own doc. Yep. My son tested positive for the flu and got Tamiflu he needs. This could have turned out very badly. I will not go back to Jeff urgent care under any circumstances
Tara, NP did an amazing job. We were visitors from out of town and my wife seemed to be having a moderate allergic reaction. From the front desk to the provider to checking out, everything was smooth and easy. Tara really cares about her patients and didn’t make us feel rushed. Keep up the great job!!!! 😃😃😃😃
We just moved from Europe where there is universal health care, but this is not the main point. We took our son with high fever, waited 10 minutes and a doctor come in. Asked us a few obvious questions and the conclusion was viral infection. When I said - what about those white stains in his throat? He paused and said viral infection - 150$ for that. I said - there is a test for angina that he ACTUALLY might have, right? We took that test - negative. The doctor said - told you its vital infection. My response: there is s certain threshold needed for this test to be positive, can we come back tomorrow for another test?. He replied - its viral infection, I am the doctor after all. There was nothing more I could tell him.I came home, called my doctor in Europe over Skype, showed him my sons throat, his symptoms - a diagnose in 5 minutes. Good thing we had anti-biotics with us... 5 minutes, a correct diagnose 4000 miles away. This speaks of how broken this urgent care is or the american system in general. We are going go try more here in usa, but this urgent care - absolutely never again.
Before coming to this facility today, I read the reviews. I noticed the 3rd one down was pretty dire. As a woman, I felt for the reviewer because of her stating she experienced misogyny from the Dr. (that even her boyfriend could see). That made me a bit wary but I saw alot of other great reviews and ultimately I try to have my own experiences & draw my own conclusions. Well, you live & you learn. Like the recent reviewer Paige, I too was impressed with the front desk staff & my nurse Tiffany who took my vitals. They were all attentive, kind & swift. I even liked the way the front desk handled another patient waiting to be seen, who was quite contentious & rude. All was fine until Dr. Kagan came in my room. Immediately he was dismissive with my concerns. He was not compassionate, reassuring nor did he seem to care to be there. He also began speaking all this medical jargon of which I had to ask twice for laymans terms. He kept saying what it could be (named at least 10 things) & acted like he was gonna end my visit then without any testing or exam. I just stared at him until he finally said he would order a swab test. Was relieved to get a flu diagnosis & that it wasnt more serious. And then the worst happened. Upon hearing the diagnosis I said I figured it was probably the flu..to which he replied THEN WHY DID YOU COME IN?. And he said it cold and with a straight face. To top it off, I had to ask him to come back in the room because I was still asking questions. I know Drs have to manage their time with all the patients, but that was just rude. I kept hoping his attitude/energy would improve but it just got worse. I will never see this Dr. again & I totally dont recommend him. Even though the staff was great, I do have 2 final notes. My discharge papers said that a nose or throat swab confirms diagnosis of flu. I wish both options wouldve been offered bc the nose swab was extremely painful & brought me to tears(Nurse Tiffany was compassionate). Lastly, one of the front desk ladies typed in White next to Race on my papers. This couldve been a clerical error & I understand mistakes happen, but it was baffling to me especially since I am clearly not white & my intake papers stated that Im an African American. When I pointed out the error, the lady couldve handled it better. All she kept asking me was Who did that?(as if I work there), and I dont recall her apologizing. She did correct it, upon my request. Even with that happening, I still wouldve gave 4 stars to this facility; if not for the Dr. This Dr. needs to know that its deplorable & unacceptable to treat patients/people like this. To newbies, get your own experience but go at your own risk.
I have been to urgent today and it was for my headache runny noseAnd the Dr Geoffrey E Hayden and the nurses were so nu e and they listen to my problem very carefully and they check me all for any problem so God bless all the doctors and nurses who are on front line .Please love your Doctors and nurses don’t hate them they hee to help us
I took my minor child to Jefferson Urgent care center (700 Walnut St.) for a dry raised rash along her forehead leading into her scalp. My daughter had this rash in the past which was diagnosed as a form of dandruff requiring a prescription for a medicated shampoo. Dr. Alan Cherney was on duty, who seen my daughter. He looked at the rash and stated it looks like Acne to me. I pointed out that the rash on her forehead was not dry and scaly as the rash on her head and that she had this issue in the past. Dr. Cherney continued to state It looks like acne to me. I informed him that her primary care physician prescribed a medicated shampoo and I proceeded to describe the shampoo. Dr. Cherney then stated to me I am an ER doctor I treat acute patients. Ive been doing this for 5 years. I work in the ER and here a couple times a month. Ive never issued a prescription for a shampoo. You need to see a primary care physician. Dr. Cherney never left the room to research what I informed him of. Dr. Cherney gave off an arrogant attitude and spoke more of his accomplishments than the care of the patient. Dr. Cherney has poor bedside manner and I would not recommend him to treat my pet. Sounds like hes more interested in his paycheck than patient care/satisfaction. ***For some reason this never posted. This was not a recent incident. Incident occurred last year sometime.***
Personally my care was fast and suffincient. I did witness one of the receptionists turn away an elderly patient because she didnt have her insurance card. Just seconds before she allowed me to look up and call me insurance because I too had forgotten my card. She was a uncaring and dismissive. The woman could do nothing but feebly gather her belongings and leave. It was so wrong.
This place gets one star only because the staff was nice and we were there for only an hour. Otherwise I wouldnt go here again. Took my 3 year old here Sunday morning for a rash he had along with a fever. They sent me home with a scrip for benadryl. We went to his pediatrician the next morning and they did a throat culture on him. Turns out hes got strep and scarlet fever. I couldnt believe they would misdiagnose him like that and to me its gross negligence.
May 21,2018 arrived 12:50 pm for an ear ache. Waited 2 hours. Sitting here now still waiting!! Asked if they forgot me and was told they are just teally backed up. Meghan the nurse is pleasant but not enough so to warrant the wait. If they don’t come in within the next 10 mins im out of here
Came here as an out-of-state walk-in (or hobble-in - had just unknowingly broken my foot) and was seen promptly, treated efficiently, and made to feel very comfortable, informed, and listened to. The very friendly and professional staff made this first stressful experience with a break, especially far from home, extremely smooth and easy. Very grateful!
I went in there two days after I had gotten sick. They told me what I had like a minute later and sent me out. They told me I had a virus but days later and everything got so much worse and I ended up in the Emergency Room days later because what I had was left untreated and I’m probably going to have to get surgery. Thanks for that.
Went in with a severely sprained ankle and their doctor of the day Dr Einstein focused more on trying to be a comedian, which came off more like being rude considering the pain i was in, than she focused on the x-ray of my ankle. Got sent home with crutches and an ace bandage, but no prescription for an anti-inflammatory or pain killer.
Worst healthcare visit in my entire life. I work at Jefferson and I am embarrassed that this is part of the Jefferson system. I was there for five hours to find out they cant even take a sample and ended up having to walk it MYSELF to Jefferson ER. Very unprofessional and rude Staff, the MD was nice but they only have one MD so she was very stressed and running very behind
I dont typically write reviews, but the care and attitude of the staff here was so professional and kind when I got sick while traveling in Philadelphia that I needed to share. While I hope I dont need to go back in the future, I would certainly recommend this to anyone who needs care in the Philly area.

2022-02-05Dont let the bad reviews fool you - This place is actually super helpful, at least it was for me.I had really messed up my back and needed to be seen, so I made an appointment for 8:40am.I got there around 8:30am and was immediately greeted and taken into a room. The nurses were absolutely amazing to me and very patient since I had trouble walking from my back injury. The doctor went over my x-rays and went indepth about the finding and setup a treatment plan for me with referrals to other specialized physical medicine doctors.I left feeling really well taken care of and my back does feel better from the medication they provided me. And I have an appointment with the specialist on Tuesday.10/10 - maybe try to come in the morning though, I was pretty much the only one there. The entire process took about 45 minutes from entry to check out.

2022-06-17I’ve been here a few times when I still had insurance from work - when the copay was only $30 for the visit with nothing additional. I currently Don’t have a job or insurance, and was told up front id have to pay $180 for just the visit itself and $45 if i needed X-rays. Ok cool- let me get this out of the way just to make sure my foot Injury isn’t anything crazy. There wasn’t really a wait time after checking in, but I did go in at like 10am. Dr. Kagan did seem a bit rushed and transactional as he just looked at my foot, asked a few questions and said maybe it’s this or that. They did my X-ray really quick and then he pulled me aside to look at the X rays on a screen. They ended up just telling me to rest my injury and monitor it in case I need To adjust my lifestyle or do a follow up visit, but said that they don’t have any supportive boots or shoes.I pay for the X ray on my way out. Fast forward, a week later, there’s an additional charge close to $200 for “two interventions,” added. I was trying to figure out what this meant… like did they charge me for the two conversations I had With the doctor? So I called Billing and was put on hold for 15 minutes and they said they can’t always predict how billing works especially if it’s uninsured and said I could Do a payment plan if I want- aka, get a job and get insured or get screwed.Like the visit itself was kinda okay and reassuring that it’s nothing huge, but I’m just disappointed in the billing process and lack of communication, especially for those who have no insurance or jobs at the moment.

2022-06-29From the moment I called to inquire about the wait to the moment I left the actual center, I was very satisfied with the care I received. Specifically, the nurse practitioner that I saw, Darina, was phenomenal. She was warm, she was reassuring, she took her time with me and I left not feeling like I went to a last resort urgent care, but that I had actually received top notch medical care. Thank you Darina and thank you to the staff at the Washington Square location.

2022-05-10From my experience the past week, this is a hidden gem. After taking a bad fall and splitting open a gash on my brow, I was greeted warmly and professionally, treated by a physician who took time with my stitches and on my way back home in less than 20 - 30 minutes. I had the same positive experience when I returned to get the stitches removed. Highly recommend.

2022-06-29I was referred to this location for a complicated stitch removal in my ear. After I went to Nazareth hospital to get them (absolute TERRIBLE hospital by the way) I needed to get them out in 7 days. It got infected due to Nazareth not prescribing NO antibiotics and on my 7th day I went to get them out n couldn’t due to the infection. Long story short on my 11th day I went to this urgent care and was taken care of immediately! This place deserves 10 stars ⭐️!! I was in there for a total of 13 minutes and from start to finish I was treated with respect and everyone was super nice. Not to mention the stitch removal itself, CRNP Kendall Beerer gently removed scabbing and cut out 2 embedded stitches without causing me no pain whatsoever! Thanks to her this made my experience outstanding and I am very thankful. This is most certainly the place to go if you have some type of trauma or need medical attention!! Great Experience!👍

2021-11-30I usually avoid going to doctors offices of any kind unless its really necessary, but Ive managed to find myself here twice in the past few months. My first experience was great, and my second - just today (11-29-21) was... even better!! The service is top-notch - everyone is friendly and puts you at ease; wait time has been minimal (actually 0 today!); and the staff all seem quite competent and explain everything well. I highly recommend this place without exception.

2021-12-11The worst experience ever. Don’t waste your valuable time coming here. My daughter injured her left knee badly. Came in here, spent 4 hours waiting. The place had only one patient in front of us. The nurse seemed new didn’t know haw to manage the wheel chair. Didn’t help bringing my daughter, in the wheelchair, to the room. After all this. They gave her ibuprofen and to go home and make an orthopedic doctor for ligaments and meniscus. Asked them for help assisting us to be seen immediately at Jefferson ER. Which they said that they couldn’t help us with this. And to schedule an appointment with an orthopedic doctor on Monday. Unbelievable!!!!!

2021-12-04Honestly the worst care I’ve ever received. Didn’t listen to a single thing I said. I get chronic sinusitis and am seeing regularly an ENT and an allergist and this doctor did not even check my nose, throat, or ears. To check my sinus pressure she checked over my mask and did not press down at all. It took 2 hours for them to “prescribe” me Sudafed (I told her I already take mucinex) and afrin (is this even behind the counter?).Even if it is viral I was not properly evaluated in the slightest.I did not feel listened to by the nurse practitioner and especially not the doctor. It appears they were severely understaffed. I called ahead of time and they told me there was no wait, they could have told me it would take 2 hours even with no one else in the waiting room. The woman working the front desk was very sweet.

2021-08-02Hands down the best medical experience I’ve ever had. I went to Vybe first for an injured foot but was told there wasn’t an X-ray tech in all weekend. I called Jefferson and they said there wasn’t a wait and to come on in. Every single person I encountered was incredibly nice and helpful. It was fast, efficient and I will go nowhere else going forward. I had vitals, X-rays done, X-rays reviewed, confirmed broken foot, put in a boot, and was out the door in an hour, if not less. Thank you for everything!

2021-07-02Went this week with some sort of sinus infection. Dr gave me a single dose of a steroid for the swelling, nothing for the infection. Also weird the DR said I would be getting a steroid shot, then the nurse came in with pills and said they dont come in shots anymore. Youd think the DR would know that. Then the DR tried to rope me in to making another appointment when I would inevitably not get better. I ended up getting a primary instead of going back. I had a bacteria infection. I lost 4 days of my life due to them. Never going back.
