I’ve been working for Jevs for almost 6 years. I truly love it at this job. The pay is great and the staff are amazing. They care for there staff and clients like they are family. I recommend this home care Agency to anyone rather it’s care for there love ones or if they need a job.
JEVS care at Home has been a wonderful place to work. I love caring for people and the fact that I can care for my uncle under their service makes it even more special. I would definitely recommend to people of interest and spread the word of how JEVS care at home is changing the face of healthcare.
I have seen better agencies. The communication between caregivers and supervisors is very poor, they wont answer calls or even call back. Not to mention how low they pay but expect you to have all these skills and qualifications lol. I trusted the reviews they had on google.. but later on learned that they make caregivers review the company right after being hired, so dont trust the reviews! Jevs services are deplorable, I wouldnt recommend this agency.
I really appreciate how managers and coordinators have reached out to me. I have enjoyed getting to know several of the care givers. Many have addressed my Aunt as “Ma’am”. That has shown respectfulness on their part. I really appreciate that. Many of the care givers have tried to find ways to keep my Aunt from focusing in on her pain.The coordinator has worked hard to find the best care givers for my Aunt. She has taken into consideration care giver fatigue and has a attempted to rotate care givers every few weeks. Stephanie has taken out time to speak with me directly to provide comfort. The on call coordinates have been kind and available to help me with situations during the after hour times.We are living in difficult times and finding reliable ,trustworthy people to provide care for your family members is not easy. I suggest we get to know the individuals who provide care. Remind them of who your loved one once was. Show kindness to the care givers. Be understanding of the situations they may be encountering as well.
I have been a Direct Care Worker for JEVS Care at Home for many years. While no agency is perfect, the last several years have been totally awesome because of the great communication between staff, clients, and family. Just when I was concerned about how long it would take me to obtain the COVID Vaccine because I actually live in DE, I received an email from Ellen Gross with the answer. I was able to choose which vaccine I wanted and have already received my 1st dose. THANK YOU! There are many wonderful things I can say, however, I’d be here all day but there are a few staff members that make this agency the Best: forgive me if I forget a few of the full names; they are Ellen G, Inna (HR), Kim (Nurse), Marcus (HR) Amanda W., Shawntel H., and Ed G (Case Managers). Every last one of these case managers have been very helpful and understanding which goes a long way in having successful business relationships and longevity in the company. Highly recommend. Would be my first call again if I ever need assistance with care. Great caregivers. Supportive and available office staff as well. Solved my problem with care and attention. We had an emergency overnight care need that arose 2 days before Thanksgiving 2020. Due to COVID and holiday plans, trying to find any agency that could provide 12 hour overnight service was difficult at best. JEVs was able to staff our need and provided wonderful, caring folks. Even the big snow storms this winter didnt deter them from coming. Very happy with JEVs.
Ive had a home health aide from Jeeves for quite a while. He is kind its caring and very professional. He seems to know what I need before I know what I need it. Hes fully understands what Home health Care needs are. He uses all the home health care covid precautions. I could not ask for more from anyone its just wonderful care that I receive. Apparently Jeeves train their people well. Thank you Jeevs for providing someone with such wonderful skills.

Also, had the privilege of having the same wonderful services provided for my Uncle in whom I also cared for as well. I can HONESTLY say JEVS Care at Home deserves 5 Stars (and more). I have wittnessed such a didicated and caring group of individuals who not only care and show concern and much needed support for their employees, but so much goes into how they follow up and make sure theres a balance also with the level of care provided and extended to the Clients at ALL times as well. I just adore Jevs at home.They have such high quality services and put forth the best effort, to ensure the people they provide services for are given just that.The staff are all amazing and show a high level of respect, compassion, and concern no matter what. I love how Jevs at home also provides the necessary training classes that’s needed to ensure they are up to date with licensure requirements. Jevs at home takes pride in all that they do.

In the beginning when it was known as JEVS their services were excellent. The service coordinators were nice, easygoing,& very nice to talk to, that changed once it became JEVS @ HOME. The quality of services rapidly declined, & the attendants were ill mannered & thieves. They also wanted the clients to sign their time sheets as if they worked. They cheated the agency, clients, & the state. I will never return, or give them a good rating.

I had bad experiences with different companies but when I got this company I find out the caregiver she is very good, very sweet and she care for me more than my own family. I’m very happy with her and she is responsible she is always in time, I’m glad to be with this Company.
Ive been with him for quite a while having him help me at my house because I am disabled and they are the worst company you can ever get. They lied to you because theyre short-staffed and they send their people to other locations when theyre supposed to be at your location the girl who answers the phone Leah Carmino is instructed to tell you nothing but lies by her manager Chrissy Gorsuch. Is this just happened more than once on me so now I am getting in contact with my UPMC insurance and Department of Aging about what day do to you and well see how much business they get. Evans and these people dont realize or better yet the person who owns a business doesnt realize she has the worst team in Pittsburgh in his office and clean up needs to be done. I could do a better job then Chrissy or Leah. I wouldnt even make people mad because you see this is the way you get less clients. I hope theyre happy when they read this review and same with the owner because this will be posted all over the net.
I have been in homecare for almost eight years & this company is by far the worst Ive ever worked for. Theyre very unprofessional & unorganized. My coordinator Regina Johnson never answers her phone or emails & never responds back to you when you leave a voicemail. When I finally spoke with her & told her that my aunt/client has been trying to reach her as well, she tried to make it seem like my aunt was delusional & didnt really understand what she was talking about because of old age. They always promise to send out a backup aide if Im unable to go in on my scheduled shift but no one never comes leaving my 87 year old aunt/client to fend for herself. Fed up, Ive decided to go in & speak with a manager thinking that I would get some kind of help but to my surprise she was no help whatsoever & gave me attitude the moment she walked in the room. Its almost as if her & regina were in cahoots & nothing I complained about mattered, not even when I mentioned that they had messed up my paycheck. If I could give this company less than one star I would. I would not recommend this company to anyone AT ALL!!!
Jevs At Home have been exceptionally amazing to me as a caregiver and to my girlfriend as my client. They made things so much easier for us. Ellen Shimberg is absolutely an amazing person with an amazing heart and Ellen has always been there from day 1 with every question I have. Ellen always pulls through for us no matter what the matter is... We love you Ellen Shimberg!!!!😘 But, the whole team at Jevs At Home our absolutely amazing and I would recommend them to anyone.
I dont know how to explain how over 6 months and still have not been paid for my my pay time off nor did receive pay for a hundred plus hours that I worked and here it is going on 8 months still havent been paid for my PTO let me go or terminated from the job and yet Ive spoken to HR I spoke and several others and still nothing

I have worked for several companies, and JEVS has proven themself to be the best this far.The demand for supplies due to Covid 19 is overwhelming so far I get the supplies I need from JEVS in a timely fashion, my case Manager calls to check on me as well as the client they are a great company with good perks like being paid for every holiday and their health insurance for caretakers is top of the line , I have recommended about 5 ppl to this company and I will continue to be a caregiver for JEVS 5 star rating from me I have no complaints😊

Worst company to work for. Andrea Hinton who takes care of the payroll, cheat the workers out of their pay. And continue to try to justify her action as right. When confronted she decided to play the I am boss role and I can do what I want. This is my company! Please please please save yourself the head ache.

2022-02-23I have been receiving services with Jevs for over 5 years and have an wonderful relationship with the caring staff Yolanda Santiago always provides amazing services for my sons care. I appreciate all the aides who work for Jevs they are all amazing, caring and reliable. I will always recommend Jevs at home to all my friends and family who may need home care.

2022-07-15I have worked for jevs for over a month and they have refused to pay me my wages. i have done all that i ought to but still, they wouldnt pay me for my work done at jevs. this is insane.

2021-03-10I have been a caregiver with JEVS for a short while, and my experience with JEVS has been very positive. In my opinion, the JEVS client coordinators I have worked with have gone the extra mile to connect clients with caregivers who will be attentive to the needs of the client. Potential caregivers are carefully vetted before being sent on assignment, which is very important for clients and their families who are going to entrust their care to JEVS caregivers. In addition, caregivers are given thorough orientation and training to prepare them for their clients. Caregivers are provided with personal protective equipment for their own as well as the clients protection. JEVS client coordinators are usually immediately accessible during business hours or by the emergency and after-hours representatives for any issues that may arise for a caregiver. If I were a client in need of home care services, I would feel very confident entrusting my care to JEVS.

2021-02-08Ive had a great experience working for JEVS because of the incredible culture. They truly value each and every employees input and provide a ton of opportunity for growth. This is all centered around going above and beyond for our clients and working with integrity. Its easy to get up in the morning and get ready for work knowing that Im valued as an employee and am making a difference by providing exceptional service to the people who need us most. Not only do I feel valued, but the team at JEVS is extremely supportive and I feel like theyve truly got my back.

2022-05-04Horrible….& than they wonder why people can’t get the services they need smhCalled twice , left a message to set an intake , never got a call back ….Called again spoke to a gentlemen he said he will give me a call back to schedule my appointment and never called me back meanwhile this was 2 weeeks ago.I see how serious they take mental health.

2021-03-11I can’t say enough about my experience with a Jevs at home, everything has been seamlessly easy to navigate. Also Stephanie my coordinator is absolutely unbelievable! Her attention to detail and the personal bond built over the time has been pleasant to say the least! Jarvis at home has made a real positive difference in my lifestyle by providing the services I need on a daily basis and allowing a family member to carry it out! They carefully lay out all the plans and appointments that are necessary to follow through the process quickly and easily. I also can’t say enough about Stephanie‘s work ethic. She checks in on me more than she needs to and always make sure to put a smile on my face by the end of the phone call no matter what the subject! I am grateful to have her as part of my team!

2021-03-29JEVS is great. The caregivers are very personal and patient. My mother lives at home. A JEVS caregiver sees her on a regular basis. It helps my mother, but it also gives me a peace of mind to know that shes in good hands. Ive met the caregiver, and shes absolutely wonderful.

2021-03-08I had a great interview, and orientation. Whom ever I spoke with was very respectful and greeted everyone who was in our meeting. I think JEVS home care would be a good place for some one who wants to works with elderly people and or just love helping people period.
