Alex and Paul made my experience 5+ stars!I told Alex exactly what I was looking for in my new vehicle, what I expected to pay, and things on my wish list. Alex met all of my wishes and requirements with the vehicle that I bought. He made the experience seamless and I didn’t feel pressured at any time.Paul made the paperwork process, which is usually the worst part, very smooth and quick!
I bought a 2019 chevy colorado with them and had a smooth experience. I had contacted them earlier on a vehicle that got snatched up before I could test drive it, and they were courteous enough to email me before I headed up to let me know the truck was sold, and they later contacted me when they had one like it in stock again. Their salesman (Courtney Robinson) gave me plenty of time to look at different vehicles and did not rush me which was greatly appreciated. While every vehicle is expensive currently, their price was relatively reasonable and I cant complain about the dealer or their sales team.
Sales Manager, John Taliani, great to work with, professional, extremely quick to respond to all my questions and helped me take delivery of our new 22 Suburban! Great experience all the way around, from Mr. Carvelli handling my financing/paperwork, to Jeff Elkhalili in Sales explaining all the new features! Highly recommend this dealer!
I recently purchased a 2018 Cadillac Escalade, which is literally my dream vehicle, the vehicle I have been working towards to for a long time! Vee Sin was our salesman who reached out about our older vehicle who could be possibly turned in. He did all the leg work and found me my dream vehicle, all while making the process very easy and actually fun. Thank you Vee and the amazing Jim Shorkey Family!!
I worked with Bill Ricky Bobby Lubawy this past week and all I can say is he was absolutely phenomenal. With this being my first car purchase off a lot he made sure understood everything clearly and also gave me his trusted professional opinion. I left with the type car I wanted, with the down payment I was able to afford, with the note price I wanted! A true professional... Go ask for RICKY BOBBY!
I recently bought my Cruze here! The process went very smoothly. I was able to contact the dealership about wanting to check out the car. The sales manager responded quickly and we interacted through email about setting up an appointment. The salesman, Alex, texted me saying the car would be pulled up waiting for me, and the rest was easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was pleased with my experience.
One of the worst Dealerships I was ever at ! Purchased a car bought an extended warranty and will not work or check my car out. Had to take it to another dealer to get it figured out. I had an issue within 3 days of purchase. Told them I wanted to return the car under the agreement and they promised to make it right. Well 2 months later I’m still waiting for them to make it right. They will not return my emails and it’s beyond frustrating. At this point I have no other options, but to voice my dissatisfaction on here. They’re not to be trusted. You know how when you’re looking for a car and the dealership won’t leave you alone ? Constantly sending messages and calling you. Well that’s how it worked with me. But as soon as I purchased the car the romance was over. They ghosted me. So no contact no fixed car $45,000 vehicle with a extended warranty and nothing. And they said they do a 172 point inspection!!!!!! Yeah right that’s funny cause we leave the dealership and the washer fluid light came on. Guess what the second thing on the checklist was ? Yup fluids filled. And my sticker on the windshield for the next oil change was already past the due date. No lie. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Service department is a joke and everyone running that place should go detail cars instead of selling them. Ridiculous
I had my car in for state inspection. When I called to make the appointment I asked if the inspection was free. The Scheduler told me that Tom Henry used to do free inspections but Shorkey does not but does have coupons every once and a while and that this month there was a coupon for a free inspection. When my wife picked up the equinox she was charged $57.00 for the inspection.
Imagine my pain when I hit a dead deer with my 2021 C8 Corvette!! Rick and his team did a perfect job on the repairs and I’m extremely pleased with the professionalism, quality or repair and walking me through this stressful process. I highly recommend Shorkey Body Shop at North Hills Chevrolet - if even say they are a corvette specialist and fiberglass can be extremely tricky to repair correctly!! Thanks Rick
Was without a doubt, the easiest car purchase I have ever made. My dealer, JD, was awesome. He was not pressuring at ALL, went over the vehicle with me, and worked his magic on the numbers. I will definitely go back to Tom Henry. So glad I came to this dealership for my car.
Never visited for some reason all their dealers are using my email.I told them to stop but now they are sending from there Chevrolet dealer . I cannot comment on there service cause I have never used them. But there inept email system has been sending me emails from there Ford and Kia dealers as well as now their Chevrolet dealer. Please remove me from all Shorkey dealer correspondence.
Dont know how to detail their own vehicles the first time ! Had to to get it cleaned again before I purchased my truck.. Had to clean all the dirt between my cab and bed myself from the vehicle I purchased ! Asked for a set of mud flaps to compensate for having to clean my own vehicle and never heard back. So they sell and forget ! Will not be back for future purchases !!!
I took the time to go look at cars after work. I knew there were two cars I was specifically interested in and wanted to see in person. I drove the 35 minutes to the dealership and was so excited to talk to someone about the cars. Only when I got there not a single person tried to help me. They just stared at me until I left. I arrived 1.5 hours before the websites closing time.
I just purchased my first Corvette from Jim Shorkey North Hills Chevrolet and it was the smoothest car buying experience I have ever had. The dealership worked with me on my exact spec and made sure I was informed of how my build was progressing each step of the way. John Taliani was working me with to make this dream a possibility and in my opinion, he went above and beyond to make this purchase special. If I look for another Chevy in a few years, I will absolutely be working with John again and this dealership. If I could rate 6 stars, I would!
Great experience buying a used car last week. Ask for Tony - great guy. A straight forward dealership with no tricks or typical car salesperson stunts. The final appt. to sign and buy could have been a little quicker in my opinion, about 75min w/ no trade-in. All together a great experience - I recommend you reach out to them for your next vehicle!
I recently purchased a used car from this dealership. I brought my 4 year old daughter with me. The whole staff was pleasant and welcoming. Bill Ricky Bobby took care of me. He sent me text messages and stayed in touch through the whole process. If you are looking for a car please go check them out and ask for Ricky Bobby. I am so happy with my new car and I had a great experience with this dealership, they got me in and out as fast as they could.
I had a few scratches in my recently purchased 2020 GMC Sierra from Jim Shorkey North Hills. I spoke with Rick in the Body Shop and he said to bring it in so he could see it and provide an accurate quote. Rick took a look at it and asked if I had a few minutes. He took my truck into the garage and took care of the scratches and a few I did not see. Rick and the Body Shop are great to work with and do great work. Thanks!
While welcoming at first our experience here quickly turned into a big loss for my husband and I. On a Tuesday we test drove a used Blazer and told our salesman we loved it but wanted brand new as the used one already had several thousand miles on it. We were informed a new one was headed to the Murrysville location and they could get it in if we wanted it. We also told him that we were planning on test driving a Jeep at a the Jim Shorkey dealer on McKnight and would make our decision later that week. As promised on Saturday that same week, I called this location and said we wanted the Blazer and our salesman told us he would look into its location and track it and give us an estimated date of arrival because we also have a vehicle trade in and need a new vehicle before we let the other one go. Nine days had gone by and we heard nothing. My husband left a message for the salesman yesterday, still nothing. Today on day 10 I was informed (not even by our original salesman) that the Blazer headed to Murrysville was sold and that this location has zero in stock and doesnt know when they will get any in. The lack of communication and helpfulness from this location is absolutely unacceptable. I lost a car that I was ready to pay for at the fault of someone else. While I very much understand the lack of inventory at most dealerships right now, I dont appreciate me keeping up my end of the conversation and getting absolutely no communication in return.
Although I did not purchase my Camaro at this location I was treated as if I purchased 10 cars here. I approched Michael Paolucci and asked if I could service my car at this location. He personally escorted me to the service department and introduced me to Don Bender. I needed tires, oil change and state inspection. He scheduled me and before I got home he had a tire quote for me. Since then I had the services performed (including new tires) and I couldnt be happier.
Words cannot express how satisfied we are with the experience at Jim Shorkey Chevrolet North Hills, Bakerstown. Ryan Dranko (sales consultant) and Vee Sin (sales manager) were very professional and extremely helpful with the acquisition of our truck. Their patience was extraordinary. The service department staff were very friendly and answered questions without hesitation. We will most definitely return for the next vehicle purchase.
If you want to be ripped off and talked down to, please use Jim Shorkeys Body Shop. I have never had someone be as condescending to me as their Body shop manager. They mark up their own parts that you can buy from other dealers for 20% less and that includes shipping.
Brian Shaffer helped me achieve a dream of mine since I was 15 years old. Im the proud owner of a beautiful mercedes benz that I never thought I could ever afford. Both Brian and Mike Cavelli did everything they could and even struck a deal with the banks to get me the best deal they could. Giving them 5 stars just doesnt seem like enough for the wonderful service and friendly atmosphere. 10/10 would definetly buy a vehicle from them again and again!!
Ive been coming to this dealer ever since I bought my Chevy Cruze and before they switched from Tom Henry, to Jim Shorkey! Although I didnt purchase my car here. Theyve always treated me fairly, and thats what keeps me coming back! I had my Cruze towed in last Friday 6-25-21 because my service Stabilitrak light came on and it had no power! but they figured it out, and got me back on the road. So I definitely recommend, this dealership to anyone that has a Chevy!
I bought a car a few days ago from Zach. He was extremely helpful in explaining the finer details and was very patient as he walked me through the whole process. He got me into a car that is perfect for my lifestyle and I can see myself driving it for a long time. Thanks Zach!
Every time I need service, Tom Henrys people stand out! They do their best to accommodate my schedule. They are always friendly and make the visit pleasant and they do a great job. These people try to do their best for the customer, they dont try to run up a bill or add extra charges. I cant say enough good about Tom Henry Chevy!
I had a recent small body shop repair for my Honda CRV at Tom Henry. Rick and his staff were very helpful and had my best interests in mind since I was paying for the repair out of pocket. They did a fantastic job and went beyond all expectations! The paint job was perfect and they cleaned my car inside and out. Thank you so much!
Shout out to my man Zach for putting my wife & I in a new Chevy Trailblazer... He went above & beyond in answering our questions & showed us all the bells and whistles this vehicle had to offer. Also the finance team for getting us the best deal possible. Class act dealership, will definitely go back when time to get another ride.....
The salesperson John Taliani went above and beyond to get a specific truck on the lot that I was looking for. His communication response time was A+ whether it was via phone, email or text. I feel John went out of his way to make customer service his number one priority and made the buying experience very stress free. In addition it was the fastest car buying experience Ive ever had, was in and out within 20 minutes.
I worked with Laura and Ed. Laura took my initial call and literally recorded my car issues 100% accurately. It was funny when Ed called to tell me what the problem was he said and I quote we finally got your car to do exactly what you said it was doing. That would not have been the case if it wasnt for Laura being so accurate! Great service department and technicians.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I will take all my cute business to Bill aka “Ricky Bobby”. Spent 30 mins just showing me how every feature of the interior worked, and gave no pressure in the sales process. Great communication and a genuine good guy. Ask for him and he will work for you.
I had a service appointment - I arrived early they took my car in and the work was done in a short period of time. I added an oil change and feel the amount paid was appropriate. The service writer and technician answered all my questions and were very friendly. While there I talked to some of the sales staff; also very friendly. I bought my car there Sept. 2016 and have not taken it anywhere else. A very Satisfied Customer
Its was ok I feel that they should stand behind there trucks got a used truck there and its to have floor mats in it one has a issues and they are not going to take care of it. Was not happy about it. But you live and learn will have to go back to my other dealers. I was going to buy a new trail blazer for my wife but she said we will go back to other dealer. Got a full tank of gas and one oil change with my other used cars I got. But did like my sales person. Dillon but sure his hands are tied.
I ended up not purchasing from them but was looking at a specialty used car they had. I am hundreds of miles away and their staff was very accommodating to any requests I made for additional details, photos, inspections, etc. They were willing to make sure everything was ready to go before I made a long trip to their dealership. Additionally, I made inquiries to several dealerships across the country for this particular car and Tom Henrys staff was by far the quickest to respond and the best to communicate with.
Despite Tom Henry not being the closest dealer to me, I continue to choose to take my car there due to the excellent service. Jim, in Service, has consistently gone above and beyond to make every experience pleasant and as seamless as possible. While I have always been satisfied with the work performed on my vehicle, the consistently great service Jim has provided has kept me coming back.
Just baught a new truck. Everyone from service manager to salesman to finance manager were excellent. Would recommend tom henry to all my family and friends. My family has baught 3 vehicles this year and when my wife needs a new vehicle will be buying from this dealership.
My car was involved in an hit and run in a parking lot and the rear quarter panel had some pretty good damage. I was referred to the body shop at Tom Henry and I’m sure glad I was. They had my car in just the next week, provided me a rental, and returned my car back to me in exactly two weeks. My car looked amazing, you would have never known that anything happened to the car. They also detailed the car for me before pickup. Tom Henry is about an hour and a half trip for me one way, and I would drive there for any of my car needs. Top notch service and customer service!
I took my MDX for a state inspection this week after a bad experience from another dealer. Compared to Baeirl Acura in Wexford this was such a pleasant experience. There was a small misunderstanding around a service item. But when I told the service team that I was not informed of the item, they immediately took it off the invoice. I mean the cost of the work they did including labor was over $100 and they ate the cost. That is customer service for you from our neighborhood store! I will definitely take my cars to Tom Henry for servicing. If I were into Chevys Id buy from them purely for being honest. Thank you to Ed and Terry from service.
Fantastic place to buy a car.My salesman, Wayne Fischer was very helpful and informative. We spoke on the phone before my visit, and he had the car I was interested in parked out front and all ready for a test drive. He was very thorough in showing me all the features of the car and how they worked. They were also very fair and reasonable with their offer and their appraisal of my trade-in. I really wanted the car, and they worked with me to find a price and create a monthly payment that I could handle. Jeff in F&I was very respectful and helpful, as well. He made the loan application process very smooth, which is saying a lot, since this was my first new car purchase.I definitely recommend Tom Henry if youre in the market for a Chevy.
The sales staff and buying experience is fantastic. Just hope that you never have any real issues with the car you buy. We had serious transmission issues with our Malibu 2LT and after 4 visits to the shop (one of which our white car came back covered in greasy handprints) they told us they were going to replace the transmission but couldnt give us any paperwork to back that up. Now we are having all sorts of new rattles and strange noises but cant take it back to the shop for another week because they never have loaner vehicles available or their specialist tech isnt available. Very pleased with the sales team and service manager Donny but really disappointed with the service technicians they have at Tom Henry Chevy.
Tom Henry, Kate and their team gave me what seemed like personal attention, as though I was their only customer. They are very responsive to questions and make the entire sales experience painless. Although there were many obstacles thrown their way by GM and the pandemic, they made a yeomans effort to overcome them.
I will never come there again. Went in for a oil change and a tire rotation and State Inspection. My truck only has 40000. Miles on it well maintained. I put new power stop breaks and rotors on it because I wanted the best. It has Mickey Thompson tires great looking truck. Then They will not pass it because my wiper streaks. Really they were only a few months old. So they take me out to look at it and the tech show me that it is broke. Well it worked just fine yesterday when it rained and it wasnt broke then. Why cant they just make the money from the inspection and tire rotation and oil change. Why do always have to make more. Im not saying he broke it because I cant prove it but something is fishy. Now my wipers dont even match. So now I have fine the same type and replace the other one. Well sad part I was looking for a Chevy dealership to take care of my needs but It will not be this one. What a shame Greed.
I have purchased the last five Chevrolet vehicles Ive owned from Tom Henry Chevrolet. And I live 220 miles away from them. The sales team is top-notch, Ive always dealt with JD and he is personable, accommodating, and friendly. This last time, he and I exchanged goofy doodles of ID cards and Bill of Sales as a joke during the ordering process. Tom Henry, the owner, is a good friend as well - and always provides me the VIP treatment when I purchase a car from his dealership. I have enjoyed the car-buying process so much over these last years that I have even convinced a friend and my parents to purchase from Tom Henry Chevrolet - and both have enjoyed the same stellar service Ive grown accustomed to.I have 6 Chevy dealer within 20 miles of where I live...and many more in between here and Pennsylvania. They all fall short of Tom Henry Chevrolet. ALL GM dealers would benefit from modeling themselves after the standards for quality that Tom Henry Chevrolet holds.
I had a very difficult time trying to find someone who could get my 2016 Z06 built. Plenty of people would take my deposit, kept me waiting for months with no committed build date, but nobody had allocation. A friend of mine recommended Tom Henry Chevrolet, and Tom had my order submitted immediately, and the car was scheduled to be built in 3 days. They kept me informed through the whole process, and because I live a few states away, Tom had my car delivered in a clean, enclosed trailer. Car dealers and sales people often get a bad rap. Its not often you run across someone who is truly an honorable gentleman who really cares about his customers and goes above and beyond for them. Tom is that guy, and his staff was great to work with. Im really glad I found him.
I’m not one to leave reviews, but I wanted to make sure that this doesn’t happen to anyone else. On June 19th 2019, I inquired about a used Corvette for sale on Tom Henry Chevrolet’s website. The sales consultant, John Taliani, was working with me on this deal. After confirming the vehicle was available for $30,000 I was told to put a $1000 deposit on the car to hold it. Within the hour I had financing approved and paid for an inspector to go out next day to confirm the condition of the car. After numerous calls back and forth, John concluded the conversation telling me that he wanted to see if the dealership could match or beat my financing.Within two hours, I received a phone call from the used car sales manager, Ross Caruso, only to find out that the dealership ended up selling the car from underneath me. With John not returning my calls, I called Ross back to try and figure out why they sold a car that was on hold for me. Ross told me that “because I was sending an inspector the next day, the car couldn’t be marked as sold and deposits on cars were for customers that were serious about buying the car, but just needed to get everything worked out”. This didn’t make sense to me so I asked if I could speak to the General Manager.I then spoke to the General Manager, Corey Holland ,who immediately informed me that “there was nothing I could do about the situation and that’s just how the used car buying process is”. I told Corey that I didn’t understand why the dealership sold a car that I had a deposit on. Corey stated that they don’t accept credit card deposits from out of state due to Pennsylvania state laws (which is non-existent) and then questioned me on if I really gave John my credit card information. Long story short, they sold the car that I had a deposit on from underneath me and poorly handled the situation. I have bought cars from out-of-state my whole life and have never dealt with a salesforce that was so unprofessional and deceiving. Out-of-state buyers should be taken just as seriously as in-state buyers.Tom Henry Chevrolet should be ashamed for operating in the fashion that they do. The process of purchasing a vehicle is weighted heavily on having trust in the dealership and its people that you are working with. Tom Henry Chevrolet completely failed the consumer and proved that their profit is more important than the customer. This dealership has failed on their own mission statement with the intent of “being treated like family”. I strongly urge anyone looking to purchase a vehicle from this dealership to consider my experience before putting your trust in them.
Tom Henry Chevrolet is outstanding. They are really easy to work with, and work hard to provide you with the best deal possible. I worked with Cam Warba on a 2017 z06. He literally drove all over Western PA to find me exactly what I was looking for. I love the car and cant thank Cam enough for going above and beyond to find me the car of my dreams. Best car buying experience Ive ever had.
Theres a difference between raising the bar and being the figurative bar altogether. Tom Henrys Service Department is a game changer. After Sullivan in Etna closed down (where I got my car in 2005), I jumped around from shop to shop in hopes of finding someone reliable and honest. It was finally in 2010 when I was driving on 279 in a blizzard and my car suddenly stalled that I found Tom Henry. Although my car was 7 years old, it had less than 40,000 miles on it. Tom Henry fought for me and covered the repairs to my engine, which wouldve far-exceed $1,200, and they instantly made me a customer for life. As someone who has had many awful experiences with car service (being overcharged, poor repairs, poor customer service) and whose vehicular knowledge is limited to Google, its really important to me to have a service shop I can trust. Ed and Jim have been absolutely spectacular to me and my car, and Im strongly considering another Chevy as my next car because of them. Today, I only get my state inspection and repairs done through Tom Henry. Theyre thorough, considerate, and patient. Their repair charges have been extremely reasonable, and I also greatly appreciate that theyll take time to explain to me whats going on. Before I make any car repair decisions, I always check in with my father and theyve always been very respectful of that. They even offer to speak with him if Im at a loss. What happened recently is what made me feel ashamed that I hadnt yet at least written a review for them.Since my state inspection in May 2014, my car has been in and out with a suspicious squeaking sound in my new brakes. The brakes were working well and they tried a number of fixes, none of which they charged me for considering I had only just paid to have them replaced. I didnt usually hear the squeaking over my music, but during a hood latch repair I had scheduled, I asked them to check into it a final time. I also asked Jim to look at my front passenger stereo speaker because it had gone out a few days before. I noticed the hood latch was broken shortly after my state inspection from May of this year. They replaced the hood latch AND my brakes for no charge. Jim called me about the stereo, and, although it was a relatively inexpensive repair, I said I wanted to hold off until August for when I start my new job and have more financial stability. When I went to pick up my car a few days later, Jim noted that he replaced the speaker anyway for no charge because he felt bad that my car had been in and out for the brakes many times. I was blown away.To Jim, Don, Gary, Ed, and everyone else in the service department, thank you for everything youve done and continue to do. I trust no one else with my car, so youre stuck with me!
It would kill them to give you a good deal! I understand its a family business, but Chevy can spare to give an extra discount or rebate if they really wanted to sell a car. I have only owned Chevys (a Chevette, Cavalier, Corsica & another Cavalier), but no worries Tom Henry - I went with a Hyundai & got a fantastic deal! Sorry Chevy, or should I say SHORKEY! I will not beg for a bigger discount, I will, however drive to a competitor to get what I want & deserve!
I just had my first meeting with Rick Ganter, Collision Center Manager of Tom Henry Chevrolet after being matched with the body shop by my insurance company for some repair work. It was a super short meeting and I won’t be returning. Upon entry to the small collision center office, I noticed that Rick was meeting with another client. In the current setting of COVID-19, I offered to wait outside to make both men – neither of whom were masking – more comfortable while they finished their business as the size of the office didn’t allow for appropriate distancing under current guidelines. Rick proceeded to inform me that he “doesn’t care about social distancing” and “doesn’t care about masking either.” This prompted an exchange between the manager and other customer about the constraints put into place by the local government to contain the virus, their impact on the social setting, and how they both planned to circumvent the guidelines. As a healthcare worker, Ricks lack of concern for social well-being, as well as blatent disregard for public health and my personal safety, obviously didn’t settle well with me. I opted to find a new body shop.Rick called me after I left the shop looking for me to complete my estimate. I explained that while masking might not be important for him, at 39 weeks pregnant it is certainly important to me. I explained that since he wasn’t modeling good behavior for his employees, who were also all not masking, I didn’t feel comfortable entrusting my car to him or his staff. He justified their lack of masking by stating that they were six feet apart, to which I explained that they were still inside of people’s cars breathing and coughing, potentially contaminating surfaces. Ultimately, Rick mentioned that he offers to wear a mask if it will make people more comfortable; in my time in the office and in the presence of another customer who was clearly okay with the setting, he did not make that offer. All in all, not a pleasant first meeting and I won’t be returning for repairs at this shop.
I have a ZL1 that was delivered from Tom Henry Chevrolet. I had them paint stripes on the car and do some modifications. I flew from NH to take delivery and they were very accommodating to my schedule and pickup. The car was in perfect condition and they saved all the documentation for me. It was a great experience from the order to delivery. I highly recommend Tom Henry Chevrolet especially for remote buyers.I have since bought a new Silverado and will buy our new Traverse from them since they make me feel like a friend instead of simply a customer.
I LOVE TOM HENRY CHEVROLET!! Their service dept is top notch due to DON BENDER! He was the primary reason I came back to Tom Henry close to 20 years ago after initially needing service on my Impala. After that, my husband and I have maintained a completely loyal relationship to the buying and leasing a number of vehicles over the years with great satisfaction from the terrific sales staff including Melinda Domer, Ross Caruso and the much loved but now retired Johnny D. We encourage everyone to go to Tom Henry! They are the BEST!!
Be careful with aftermarket parts. I live over 2 hours away in another state and picked here thinking a chevy dealership would be better then a do it all shop. I had a brand new Chevy SS and had an exhaust, intake, tune, and body parts put on. The tune was not done correctly in which I was given the choice to drive home and come all the way back the next day or take it elsewhere which was still over an hour from me. I had a dent on my vehicle afterwords which i saw the next morning when i washed my vehicle in which I talked to Cam. He said send him pics which I did and was ignored there after. I ended up getting the dent fixed through my insurance which cost me $100. My exhaust was installed improperly and the factory gasket was left in which it later let loose and was rattling like crazy inside the pipe. I took it to the local muffler place since I didnt want to waste a better part of half my day driving back to Tom Henry. About 6 months later, the exhaust is rattling again. This time I take it back to Tom Henry since I didnt want to pay another $100 dollars out of my pocket to take it to the local muffler place. I also tell them I want the exhaust straightened from the first time they installed it incorrectly. They fixed the rattle but said they couldnt fix the exhaust. So Cam got a hold of Stainless Works and had them call me since he didnt want to deal with me and make it right. Finally I take it to Stainless Works, the manufacturer of the exhaust. The rep there told me that the exhaust was installed improperly at Tom Henry and was twisted from the front all the way to the back. BTW Stainless Works did a fabulous job on the exhaust. But this cost me another $150. So when it is all said and done, I spent an additional $350 out of my pocket to go back and fix what they screwed up and not to mention countless hours of my time and gas. And this was all bolt on stuff. To think I was considering them putting a supercharger on. Who knows how many bolts or nuts they would forget to put back in. Very very disappointed with my experience. I regret bringing my car here.
I stopped to schedule an oil change. Instead of having to come back another day they just took my car in right away and changed the oil and rotated tires. It took no time at all. I thought it was very considerate of my time. I have four chevys and this kind of service keeps me coming back.
My 2015 Camaro had a larger scuff on a rear quarter panel due to a small incident at home. Brought the car to Tom Henry Chevrolets Body Shop to be repaired. The paint is a two tone and challenging color to match, I had and will always have the upmost trust and confidence in this team and they exceeded my expectations. Youd never know there anything was there and the car looks great. They also detailed the car and kept in constant communication. Id recommend this body shop and team to anyone seeking a 5 star provider. Its worth the 2 HR drive any day.
Went in for an Inspection, Emissions and Oil Change on my 2012 Equinox LT. As usual I was very satisfied with the service department. Don Bender is a great Service Manager. Will definitely return when I need anything else done to my car. I am very satisfied with my Equinox LT.
The way i was treated just rubbed me wrong, felt like it was my fault someone had ran into me, and that i was wrong for wanting my vehicle returned to its brand new status. Secondly the body work was sub par broken parts were installed and body line was rubbed almost smooth. 10/10 would avoid. They put generic parts on a 2017 chevy with full coverage that was no fault run into in the back.
We took our 2015 Tahoe in for its first, for us, inspection. We also needed a recall taken care of and the air conditioning looked at, it wasnt working. The inspection and recall was done that day and we were told that the air conditioner will be fixed under warranty when the parts come in. The truck was also washed when we picked it up, very pleased.
Tom Henry Chevrolet is just around the corner on Rte 8 from where we live. We stopped there to see about a high efficiency car, but they hadnt any at the time. However, were Honda people, and have seen enough stuff put out by the Garbage Manufacturing Company (GMC) to know we arent really interested in buying anything they make. But the dealership was a nice place and the people more or less friendly.
I spent several weeks looking and researching late model used vehicles in the area and was lucky enough to save one of Tom Henrys Autotrader listings just before I was about to pull the trigger on a Kia Optima. My patience paid dividends. I received an Autotrader alert the car I was researching had dropped in price. I went to the dealer and within an hour, I was behind the wheel, driving the 2014 Chevy Impala I preferred in the first place. Salesman, Brian Shaffer was straightforward, polite, no bs and NO PRESSURE tactics. The entire experience was fantastic. Thank you Brian Shaffer and Tom Henry!
Our salesman Tom Jacoby was great. He did not put any kind of pressure on us to lease the truck. We were hoping we were able to turn in our 2016 chevy lease here. Tom made this experience really great. The Tom Henry dealership was a calm and relaxing place to lease a truck. Also if the 2019 northsky blue silverado wasnt on the showroom floor we would not have seen that color. My Wife and I love it. Tom was able to find a 2019 silverado rst in that color, that is the one we leased. We are very happy we were able to make a deal on that truck. We will be sure to come back in 3 years to lease another silverado. Thank you to everyone involved. Don and Roberta Sterling
I needed to get in on a Saturday due to my service light came on, right before I was going on a trip. Laura (service advisor) was great to squeeze me in and got my car look at by a mechanic. Found the light was cause by ice on my car and everything was fine when the ice was removed.
They are all really amazing people I have been through a lot with my last car since it was totaled and they have helped me so much with getting my new car after this terrible experience ryan was amazing and so was Dave they both helped me in different was with getting my new car
I purchased a Chevy Volt from Tom Henry Chevrolet in January of 2013. I was convinced that I was going to have to travel out of state to be able to purchase the Volt I wanted at the price I was willing to pay. Luckily, the Chevy website showed me a Volt in stock locally at Tom Henry and I requested a quote. I got a response from the internet manager Adam Bayliche with a quote that was quite competitive but I informed Adam that the Volt he had in stock wasn't exactly what I was looking for and at this price point I really wasn't interested in compromising much. I told Adam what I was looking for and within a day he was able to find pretty much exactly what I wanted and was able quote me a very competitive price. Adam made an appointment for me on Saturday to review the options on the car he was going to get for me to be sure it was acceptable. He also did a test drive with me in the Volt he had in stock and did a thorough review of the cars features with me. The whole process from internet quote to test drive to getting the car from another dealer to financing to picking the car up was quite smooth which is a credit to Adam and his professionalism. The icing on the cake was Tom Henry agreeing to fill in the holes in the front bumper from the front license plate that the NY dealer had installed after I expressed my dislike for front plates. Im thrilled that I was able to buy my Volt locally from a dealership that is clearly dedicated to customer satisfaction before, during and AFTER the sale.
Normally this place is friendly, competent, and affordable. Most of all theyre honest most of the time. Occasionally there is some sort of unreasonable price quote for service, but that doesnt usually happen. Coupons are available online at their website to help you save money.
Tom Henry will always be out go to Chevrolet dealer. Thanks to their hard work I as able to purchase my first Silverado back in 2009 through a lot of hard work by their Finance team. To this day Tom Henry offers me and my family the best options in terms of location, hospitality, price and service.Their waiting room and kid friendly area is great for keeping kids occupied.Thank you Adam Bayliche for being a great salesman!
Been in twice now , once for service, once for a part that needed replaced under warranty.. and both times excellent service, people etc.. i feel bad i did not purchase my vehicle from them, i will definately be back i purchase new every 2 years.. so i will definately give them a shot on my next vehicle..
I recently purchased a 2016 Nissan Maxima Platinum and was lied to about two of the open recalls. I was told They have all been handled. Well 3 trips to a certified Nissan Dealer and a rental car later, they are now handled. The recalls werent a make or break for the deal, but it was very deceiving to be purposely told the wrong information just to make a sale. Unless youre purchasing a new vehicle, buyer beware.

2022-02-24I have recently been taking my Hummer to Jim Shorkey for service because of Rick Donnan. I met Rick a few years ago when he worked in the service dept at another dealership. He was the first mechanic to ever take the time to talk to me in person about the work being done and it was obvious that he knew what he was talking about. It gave me confidence knowing that the mechanic working on my Hummer knew a lot more about it than I did. Prior to meeting Rick, my service experience was pretty bad. Rick is professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the Hummer H1. Ive owned the Hummer for many years and never found anyone in this area who had Ricks expertise working on a Hummer. I used to take my Hummer to a shop in Cincinnati that specialized in Hummers because I couldnt find anyone in Pgh who knew how to work on them. Its great knowing that Rick is just a short drive away. Jim Shorkey is very lucky to have Rick on their service team and as long as hes there, they will have my business when I need work done on the Hummer and my other vehicles as well.

2022-02-11A top notch car buying experience. Blake and his sales manager John T. were incredible to work with. They were very low-pressure, and worked with me to get me exactly what I wanted. They offered me a more than fair price on my trade, provided detailed explanations and evidence as to why they offered the price they did. I walked out with by far the lowest price around for my new SUV, and I couldn’t have been happier with the entire experience. I highly recommend this dealership, specifically Blake and even the finance team I dealt with, Mike and Tim.

2022-01-24Sit back and join me on my journey with Jim Shorkey Chevrolet. I went to the dealership to buy a used Tacoma with around 40,000 miles on it. I ended up buying the vehicle from them. With in the first 2 weeks the truck started acting up to where you couldn’t take it over 2500 rpm’s. So we took it back and they said they fixed it. You guessed it, it wasn’t fixed at all. We had took it back MULTIPLE times within the next couple months after this incident with them saying it was then again fixed which it was not. And good luck with them calling you back. We had to make an hour drive just to talk to them sometimes. Same issue every time. Plus every time was an hour trip ONE WAY. So we traded it back into Jim Shorkey Chevrolet LOOSING THOUSANDS trading it back into them with the problem THEY sold it to us for. So we took the huge loss thinking we were done with them. Guess what! Nope not done, we sold our GAP warranty back to them on the trade in to get some money down towards the vehicle since we just took a huge loss. So in the coming months we received a check from the bank for the gap. We figured they forgot to take out the GAP from the amount of the down payment and cashed that check. 2 weeks later we received a call from Jim Shorkey Chevrolet saying we owe them $600 because they didn’t check to make sure the bank would except the previous vehicles GAP payment as a deposit. So we sent them a check for the $600. Today I have received a call saying they have not received the check which they had already taken out of our account. They have absolutely no organization and no care for their costumers. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

2022-01-16By far the best experience purchasing a car Ive ever had. Great communication, willingness to work with me to get to an agreeable number. More then fair trade value for the van and had everything waiting for us when we got there. Alex went above and beyond and Mike was super efficient and clear on financing everything.

2021-12-31For this latest visit I found Rick Donnan to be excellent. Actually, every technician that has been assigned to my ZO6 since 2019 has been excellent. However, I found Mr. Donnan to be extremely knowledgeable regarding high performance vehicles. His presence now provides me with a very high level of confidence going forward. Especially since my ZO6 now has 1036 HP at the crank, 829 HP at the rear wheels, and 761 pound feet of torque.

2022-01-26Bought a used 2012 Odyssey from this place in February of 2021 for a pretty reasonable price given the current market. I saw some oil puddling up on the frame and threw that out there as a concern they worked with us to ensure they would fix whatever the issue was if we bought it. It felt a bit like a red flag but the sales team seemed legit so I bought it and added a warranty (something I never do usually because Ill just do the work myself but this vans engine and transmission look kinda tight in there). They fixed us up with a rental till they ensured there was no leak which was a newer vehicle (no skimping). The oil puddle turned out to be just the way the oil filter is angled over the frame and it spills all over the place when changing the oil (guess they didnt clean it up :/). Anyway months went by and there was a knocking noise and then just recently my wife claimed it was smoking too when accelerating and the knocking was louder. Since we bought the warranty my wife went ahead and had them look at it. I was cautiously optimistic on how well this would pan out as Ive had heard horror stories (plus I have dealt with most dealers being terrible) however they lent us a much nicer newer vehicle from their lot till they got the van fixed. The warranty only covers a 5 day rental but they lent us the vehicle for nearly a month without charging!! They fixed the van once they tirelessly fought with the warranty company and got them to cover the repair, just had to pay the deductible which was less then if I did it myself in parts :).I bought a car 6 months prior from Cochran that they just slapped an inspection sticker on. I went ahead and changed the brakes just because they looked crusty well it turned out the back inner pads were down to less than 1/32, I should have drove up to them to make them explained but didnt (I still kick myself for not doing more about that). Then other problems were going on with that car that they refused to own up too but long story short dont buy from Cochran buy from these guys instead!!Thanks guys for restoring my trust in car dealerships again! You are like my old Kervin Surbaru I use to go to before that dreaded Cochran took over.

2022-05-27I was new to this particular dealership. I have purchased my last 2 vehicles from Shorkey Dodge. Laura Rotundo was an amazing representative. She was kind, empathetic, thorough and so accommodating. Great experience in dealing with her. Due to my experience with her, I will now be using your service department for all of my vehicles routine maintenance moving forward.

2022-02-03I purchased a Certified 2019 Tahoe LT from them a couple months ago. I was nervous buying a vehicle 6 hours away without test driving it first but it was a great price with low miles. Everything was completed before we had to pick it up. Everyone we spoke with was very responsive and friendly. They mailed us everything we needed to get our tags in a nice folder with the check. We literally needed nothing to go to DMV because they had copies of everything including my license and insurance. They were awesome!

2022-05-26After many months of research and consideration, my wife and I decided on a make and model vehicle, to replace our oldest ride. Having acquired a Jeep in recent years, we discovered how much we both found it perfect for all the things we do - so we went looking for another of the same make. Hoping to find a newer and lower mileage sibling, to complement our tried-and-true Jeep, we soon found several in the local area that fit our budget. One happened to be at the Jim Shorkey dealership, in Bakerstown, and while a trip for a test drive would be nearly an hour, we had a good feeling from the start. Upon visiting the facility, we were immediately assigned a friendly salesperson, who thoroughly stepped us through every part of the process. The vehicle had more miles than we had been aiming for, but the condition was excellent and the price was terrific. We were allowed the accommodation to take the Jeep to our mechanic, to give it a once-over, and a few days after setting up our first appointment, we were being helped through all of the paperwork, our old car was taken on trade, and we drove away with our newest vehicle. Two months have passed since then, all is well with our new Jeep, and weve counted ourselves fortunate in every way - to have found a better replacement for less of an expenditure than expected, and to have had a fast transaction and an extremely smooth experience overall. Our thanks go out to Dylan, and to the several other folks who readily gave their assistance!-Carl&Abbey
