LongHorn Steakhouse in other cities:
Very rude waiter gave us dirty plates and then copped an attitude because i told him they were dirty. He told me its just from the plates being stacked on top of each other ok well its a brown sticky ring with hair stuck on it. I guess me and my family were supposed to eat off that. I think not im pretty sure he would want clean dishes to eat off of. He even had the audacity to have his thumb all on the plates when he brought them back and slamed them down forcefully on the table. When i looked guess what still dirty. I been lost my appetite at the first sight of the disgusting plates no way i was letting me or my kids eat off that and to top it off the disgusting attitude I wiil never step foot in that restaurant again. Needless to say we left and found somewhere else to eat that knows how to treat peolpe and are very sanitary. Other experiences have been decent tho its an absolute no for me now.
Made a reservation an hour ahead of time. Our wait was 50-60 minutes. It’s been over an hour and we are watching people come in after us get seated. First time eating at a longhorn and so far I’m not impressed. I just hope the food makes up for it. Our waiter and food made up for it. Your lady busser really impressed me. I used to be a waitress, hostess and manager and she’s got it.
Amazing (instagramable) decor, which deserves a five star. As a party of four adults and five kids under ten we felt very welcome and were served courteously. The steak was excellent and the sides were tasty. All in all a pleasant experience and a great dinner experience with younger children.
Did a to go order from this place... I asked for Rare Prime Rib and got medium rare... I might recommend the franchise itself but not this particular location. The app read to me saying they needed extra time to make sure everything was right. I do not recommend this location. Also does not have a designated place for pick up orders. Just head to the bar.
My husband and I ended up here after going to another restaurant was closed due to no electricity. We had a lovely time. We were seated right away. We followed social distancing guidelines. Not close to anyone. So we started with soup Shrimp and Lobster chowder was hot and had a little spice. Followed by salad. Fresh and crisp. I had the ribeye steak and fries. My husband had the full rack of ribs and fries. It was delicious. Everything was hot. After getting takeout for so long a hot meal out is wonderful. Nicole our server did a great job. Everything perfectly timed.
I love the atmosphere here, great for anyone who loves Country music, cowboys and steers with their meal. The shipping delays meant they were out of a few items, but I still got good quality food. Everything was excellent and the wait staff worked hard to make it a good night. This restaurant was a great choice.
The food was okay. Got the large Ribeye ordered it medium rare it was medium and did not have much flavor. Fries were cooked perfect. Peach tea was really good. The Ceasar salad that I ordered was a great size but the dressing was all on the bottom and not all tossed in. As you look around everyone young or old is using their phone flashlight to look at the menu, it is quite dark in there. Not a lively vibe. My waiter Steve was PHENOMENAL. My beverages were refilled immediately, bread was brought out right away and the meal was timed perfect. He was on point.
Our waiter was hilarious and made our night so much better. Food was delicious but would definitely order just medium instead of medium rare. Way too rare for my tastes, but thats a learning lesson and not their fault which is why Im keeping the 5 stars. Overall service was 10/10.
My wife and I had dinner here. First we were seated at a booth that had baby flies all over the walls. There was a plaque on the wall and it appeared wet. When the waitress came to our table, we requested another table. The manager came to seat us at another booth and I told him the plaque appeared to be wet and he said( Oh, thats bug spray but its not working). So we had flies and bug spray above our table where we were about to eat. So...we ordered and I finished my appetizer before my wife even got her salad which was to be served at the same time. When he served her salad, he had a Ceasars salad as well that we had not ordered and after telling him this, he left it on our table anyway. My wife finished her drink and was never asked if she wanted another so I shared my drink with her.we got our check...he brings back the check and our card and now it was ten dollars more. I got the manager.. the waiter charged us for an additional two drinks when he took the card. We will never dine at this location ever again. Make sure you double check your bill when you pay.
The food was delicious, cooked to perfection and the service was exceptional. Lexi exceeded our expectations. She was pleasant and very attentive. She even refreshed our beverages before we even asked. Lexi should be cloned, as she is a credit to her profession. We will be returning and requesting Lexi!
The food was delicious! Everything was perfectly prepared. Our waitress Bobbi was incredible!!! All of the staff were great, the restaurant itself was clean, inviting and cozy. This is my first time eating at a Longhorn. They far surpass any other chain steakhouse!!! I WILL be back and wholeheartedly recommend them!!!!!!
Theyre certainly my choice over the other steakhouses. They very good with the ETAs they give. Which is a plus for me. Now to their food....Ive had about half the menu over the years and I dont have a single complaint. I took away a star because they routinely seem to forget at least one thing. Since we do takeout only these days, that can be a little frustrating. Nonetheless, I highly recommend.
The restaurant was clean, the food was delicious and the wait staff was very attentive.Beware... our wait time was an hour and a half for a party of five. They only have two tables available for parties of five or more.We were told that the wait would be twenty to thirty minutes when we got on the list.Shout out to Collin at the host station. When we inquired about the additional time, he came up with a solution and had us seated in a few minutes.Would have been 5 stars if not for the long wait time.
We went to Longhorn to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. Longhorn screwed me again…My wife ordered the Cowboy Pork Chops with NO seasoning or anything else, just grilled and plain. When they were brought to the table by the server there was a heavy layer of brown jiz on top of the chops; the server said it was love butter put on by the cooking staff. My wife tasted it which was nasty and off-putting to her. The pork chops were taken away and replaced with a new smaller order of barely warm chops. I guess the customer gets PUNISHED by the kitchen staff when an item is returned and not made as the customer orders it. My meal was almost finished until her replacement chops came out; $18.29 wasted... The bread was hard and over-baked. The salad was not fresh and crisp as it normally is at Longhorn.WHY would the kitchen staff put anything on someones meal when they just order it without any seasonings and just plain? Seems like someone is not paying attention to details or poor training by management. Also there is NO Mention of anything like love butter in the description on the menu, so it should not be on ones food, or the serving staff should inform the customer of such additions when the order is placed. This is the second time I got screwed by Longhorn in a similar situation. First time was a couple years ago when I ordered a Cowboy Rib-eye Steak for my birthday. I was served a beautiful looking rib-eye with a Hugh blob of white cum on top of my steak which I ordered mid-rare with just salt and pepper, no other seasonings or anything else. They said it was ‘garlic butter’ which I said I did not order or request and I sent it back and had them take the steak off my bill, which they did. No food for me that day at Longhorn, no replacement meal period, I was pissed… I didn’t go back for almost two years.Management is the key to successful. I think this place needs new management…
No call ahead seating like other locations. When we arrived, we noticed there were a bunch of tables available, yet there was still a 45 minute wait on a Sunday night?? There were even two high top tables open at the bar, but when we asked the host if we could sit there, rather than try and accommodate us, he shifted responsibility to the bartender and said it was up to him whether to fill those tables or not. However, he made absolutely no effort to ask the bartender, as if to say he simply didnt want to deal with the hassle. Absolutely ridiculous. Given the lack of hospitality, we did not feel welcome and went across the street to Chillis, where we were seated right away and had a great, delicious dinner. Sorry, not sorry, Longhorns, you just lost out on paying customers.
We went for their lamb chops, but were told they were sold out. After our disappointment we ordered rib eye n t bone steaks, which were excellent. Mid way through our dinner the manager came out with a plate with their lamb chops (2) but were delicious n free! Thank you Long Horn for the special treat!!
We just had some great food with some absolutely fantastic service. Our server was a very nice young lady named Lexi. She was very personable and knowledgable. Every single need that my family had was very promptly handled. What really sets this special young lady apart from everyone else was her amazing personality. She was always singing quietly to herself when going between tables. Lexi is an incredible asset to this restaurant. She made me smile just seeing how happy she was. Thank you Lexi for the amazing service! Please don’t ever stop being so happy! 🙂
Visiting this restaurant for the 1st time in Pennsylvania was a delightful treat. I have been to LongHorn Steakhouse before when I lived in Louisiana but hadnt been back since then. The food was magically delicious, our server Bill was attentive, efficient, professional and ensured we had a superior guest experience.
Ordered take out, 4/17, ordered ribeye medium rare. The most common steak in a restaurant, mine was burned and black. My salad was only lettuce. Called the restaurant, lady said hello, when I said hello she hung up. Tried to call back no answer. With the way restaurants have been doing during the pandemic you think the would try to be perfect, guess not..
Ordered ice tea and water was brought. Ordered medium cooked burger and it came well done. Ordered soup and asked for crackers twice and finally got them, by then soup was cold. Asked for refill on unsweetened ice tea and sweetened tea was brought. I think enough said.
First time ever going to Longhorn. Waitress was very attentive and friendly, food came quickly. Steak was absolutely delicious. Wifes food came over cooked, waitress quickly got us a new one going, and the manager came over to insure the new one was to her liking (which it was). He even went as far as comping that steak after they apologized (which was totally unnecessary)! You can tell everyone working there cares for customer satisfaction. Overall, pleasantly surprised, and would recommend to anyone.
This location have a very bad customer service, first of call you cal to place an order they hang up on you, and if the finally decide to talk to you, they will be making fun of you, I use a lot ot longhorn but this one is the worse, If Im able to give them a minus 🌟 I could
I go here frequently with my mom and husband and we always have a really nice time. My mother and I both get the parmesan crusted chicken and it always comes out perfect. Last night our waitress was the best waitress we ever had and everything was on point. I would definitely recommend this location as it is my favorite restaurant right now. My mom gets some apple dessert with ice cream and its delicious. I just wish I could remember our servers name, to give her the credit. We were in the high top tables of the bar and I know she was working the bar as well. She was petite with short red hair. Thanks for making dinner with my Mom even better than usual.
My boyfriend and I aren’t ones to get upset quickly when service takes longer than expected especially when we have our beverages. So when the manager came over to apologize for the wait on our food I was pleasantly surprised. We hadn’t really noticed our food was taking longer then usual and truly appreciated management taking the time to apologize and ask if we needed anything.Exceptional service from the bartender, to the waiter to the manager. Highly recommended!
We moved out of the area so I havent been here in a while. We went for our anniversary yesterday on a rushed schedule. The servic3 was fast and incredible! My wife must have gotten an outer piece of prime rib that was a little tough and the manager took it upon himself to quickly get her a new one! I really appreciate that kind of service especially for the money we spend there! Thank everyone from our waitress, the cook(s) and the manager for making it an excellent experience!
Great steaks and sides. Sometimes there is a wait but the food is worth the wait. Service is typically pretty good, though there has been a time or two when service was less than desirable. One of those times the staff was short and the other serves were all helping one another. When our food did arrive it was hot and delicious as always, and came with a sincere apology from our server. I continue to eat there because the food and atmosphere make for a good times. Overall a good place to eat for lunch or dinner.
This would be a 5 star review if not for my waiter and the manager. My steak was completely brown, not even a tinge of pink. I ordered a porterhouse & asked for medium well. Although it wasnt cooked like I asked, it still had a good flavor and was edible. The waiter took a good 15 minutes to come check on us. When I finally was able to waive him down I told him about the steak and showed him the cut down the middle. He offered to take it back for a new one but at that point I was about ready to go. When he brought the check they didnt take anything off the bill nor did the manager come check on us. He was standing away the bar talking the whole time. If I go somewhere and order s $30 steak i expect it to be cooked the way I want. Not everyone wants to wait for a new steak when their friends are more than halfway done their meals by time the waiter comes back. Especially with steaks you should actually wait for the customer to cut it before you even leave!!
Not a good experience at all. First of all we called ahead and told them that we had a party of 8 (4 adults, 4 children) to make sure they could handle it and they were confident they could. When we got there and checked in, they were scrambling around and had this confused look on their face. Not a great first impression. Secondly, as we ordered, it took them almost an hour to get our meals out and during that time, our waiter never came back to check up on us. I wanted to order some sweet tea but he never came so i decided not to give them anymore of my money. Third, we ordered grill chicken strips for my 2 year and 11 month old and they were not cooked all the way. Once again the waiter never came back to check on us if the food was good or if our steaks were cooked right. Fourthly, service was not that great overall as u guys can tell in my review. They were not busy at all which really made me upset. If they were slammed i can understand but they were not. Save your time and money. Only reason why they getting 2 stars from me is bc the manager took off the kids meal from our bill
Was seated quickly. Pleasant waitress took our order. I ordered a 8 oz. Steak, which as it turns out is smaller than a 6 oz. Steak, which my wife had ordered. After we noticed the discrepancy I waited for the waitress to return. This took a few minutes. When we flagged her down we explained the mistake. She apologized and took my steak back. I told my wife to start eating. I ended up eating alone. A manager came by and offered a free dessert? Told him not to bother. Food quality was good but dinner was ruined. This is what happens when one person takes the order and another person brings it out!!!!. Keep an eye on what you get when eating here.
The food was good, although pricey for York and our server was very pleasant. Overall a good experience but the bathroom was disgusting, our menus were sticky, probably havent been cleaned ever. Also the place had a smell like they never changed the mop water. This turned me off. I hope they pay attention to cleaning the place and it would be a 5 star evening.
This is a chain restaurant. Food is consistently good, but not remarkable. Waitstaff is excellent. Bar is good. On our most recent visit we had barely started on our salads when the entrees were delivered. We set aside the salads and ate the entrees while they were still hot. Im not sure who is to blame for the timing. Is it the kitchen, the waiter, or the way the restaurant processes the orders? I could add a star if not for the timing.
My wife and I enjoyed lunch here on a Friday afternoon. We got in around 1pm, so we were seated immediately. The waitress was friendly, attentive and helpful. I got a ribeye, broccoli and mashed potatoes. My wife got a NY steak and sweet potato. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and exactly as requested. The waitress refilled my ice tea twice before I had run out, and the food came out promptly. The table and restaurant overall was clean. We both enjoyed our lunch very much!! We don’t have a Longhorn near our home, so we’re glad to have seen this one during our weekend stay in the area.
The service here was decent. It started out very well but it took forever just to pay at the end of our meal. The food was sort of mixed. The soup was good. The salmon with bourbon sauce that I got was not good. The fish was cooked well but the bourbon sauce just had no flavor at all. It tasted like unseasoned fish. The rice was fine but not amazing. The French fries were pretty good. My wife said the ribs she got werent very tender. Overall the meal cost $44 for very mediocre food and sort of decent service. We can get better food and service elsewhere.
Food is excellent and service was good. However, Environment is Terrible. Very loud, almost impossible for any conversation. Call ahead seating, still wait for 30 minutes upon arrival - not acceptable. Prices are very high for a loud diner environment. Will find a quieter, more relaxing restaurant in the future. Not an enjoyable Saturday evening.
Love their steak here. It is prepared to order. I like my steak medium rare and often steakhouses overcook it but Ive gone to Longhorn steakhouse many times and theyve messed it up one time. The chef that prepared it came out to apologize and they prepared a new one immediately and gave a discount on our meal.
Although the food is amazing, the lack of attentiveness by the waiters and waitresses significantly reduces the joy and love of eating here. We went on a Tuesday night around 6:30pm. We were sat a booth and had to waiting over 20 mins til the waitress even came up to us. We found out what we wanted to eat before we even got our drinks. And after we got our food, I didnt even get a refill til we were ready to pay for the check.. We did not feel welcome at all.Management seriously needs to reconsider their team..
Our server Zach was very friendly and it was really busy we never waited for anything and he checked on us just enough . Our food was amazing everything on the plate . Flos steak is always tender and delicious every time I’ve gone there the food is mouth watering goodness!
I like this particular LongHorn. Its clean and nice. The food was very good today. I asked for my steak a specific way, and it was perfect. We had to wait a bit to be seated as there was no host or hostess readily available, but thats not a huge deal. Ive been here before and will go again.
Our server terri was absolutely amazing I would definitely ask for her if you plan on visiting she will make you feel like your visiting family and is super knowledgeable about the menu. The food is amazing in our area it would be hard to find items on their menu else were and have them be half as good. I will definitely visit again for family functions and the like. Clean environment is also a large plus and accommodations for allergies are also massive positives.
When we went there their menu was limited along with drink menu from the restrictions in PA. However, my girlfriend had to reorder her drink three times. She asked for a Redds Apple cider, waitress comes back ten minutes later and says they are all warm and none are cold. She asks for a strawberry margarita and waitress says they are out but have mango. She orders a mango margarita and ten minutes later the manager comes back and says that they don’t have mango margarita. She says they have watermelon and apologized, but when the waitress came back with her drink it was a mango margarita not watermelon. My gf asked for her vegetables to be al dente they came back mushy and over cooked. However, the main issue I had was there was two babies non stop crying for well over half an hour. I finally got up and went over to the parents and told them to keep their baby quiet it’s disrespectful to everyone else. It was beyond excessive and the restaurant should be considerate of the other patrons there that don’t have toddlers or newborns. In fact, I don’t feel children should be allowed in some settings for this very issue.I basically paid 75 dollars for subpar drinks and food and terrible ambience. I did leave a 20 dollar tip cash to be fair to the waitress being times are difficult for food and beverage individuals. I normally tip 40 to 60 percent of my total bill but was disappointed so felt the base tip was sufficient. The mistakes made on the drinks and food I can overlook but I can’t overlook management and/or a waiter/waitress not asking the noisy table to keep it down. That being said, I will never go back here. I’m not spending over 100 dollars to be a babysitter or deal with a daycare volume of babies crying.I was not the only patron who was upset by the noise as a couple people thanked me after I told the parents of said infant to knock the noise off ASAP.
I was impressed with lunch and our server. His name was Zack .We had the French onion soup and one of the best I have ever had .I am very picky about this soup and this was delicious. We had the mushroom Swiss burger with either doup or salad for $9.99 plus soda. When you go ask for Zack he is terrific.
Filets were pretty good but they were a lot more fatty than the filet mignon I buy and prepare or get at other restaurants but it still was good and flavorful I just cut around the fat and everything else was great. The parmesan topping was really good and flavorful! Fries were good also but they seemed to either be fried twice or just all were a dark half burnt kind of fry. Still tasted good but Im sure wouldve tasted better more fresh. Service was good too.
Always a pleasant stop. Staff are always going above and beyond to make your visit that much more pleasant. The manager even is out checking on customers. Flos Filet is top notch and is consistently cooked to perfection. Highly recommended dining especially for business meeting and family dining.
Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, and great service!! And an AMAZING MANAGER!!!Def going back!!!So, had an issue with food that we ordered the 2nd time we went here, BUT....the manager came over, actually SAT DOWN at our table and of course introduced himself! He got down to our level instead of just standing over us, not introducing themselves and just saying uh-huh a hundred times, he talked to us about what was going on, asked what he could do to rectify the issue, or anything at all that he could and apologized profusely! Even though the issue was over a certain steak, and it was eaten anyway, this one in particular amazing manager cut our bill in half! Weve been back a couple of more times and he was working, came over just to say hello and asked how we were....finding out that we all had a bunch of things in common! He didnt have to do that! He shook our hands when we got there and when we were leaving! He also let us know when hed be back, and we ABSOLUTELY, MOST DEFINITELY will go back to THAT in particular Longhorn, and no other because the food was AMAZING, but the SERVICE was great, and that one in particular MANAGER, who is ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY AMAZING!!!
Usually we have a nice time at LongHorn. However, this time it was all rushed. We ordered our drinks, appetizer and meal at the same time since we knew what we wanted. We got our appetizer and salads at the same time. I barely had 2 bites of my salad and our meals came out. Needless to say, I never ate my salad as I wanted to eat my meal while it was hot. My husband ordered a cocktail and wanted a glass of wine with his meal. Everything came out so fast he cancelled his wine order because he barely drank any of his cocktail. Although it wasnt a busy night, people need time to eat each course.
There is just something about superb customer service that despite the food not being the absolute best, you continue to patronize an establishment....that’s how I feel about this place. I don’t go 100% for the food per se , I go for the service! During my latest visit, Steve and Dave were our servers for a party of 15 for my brother’s graduation. I spoke to the manager, Dan (I believe) and he was very willing to work with such a big party and make arrangements. Both waiters were absolutely fantastic, they were engaged and prompt, and even tried to help my Spanish speaking family place their orders! At the end, we all shared the cake we brought with the staff and it was just such a good/happy environment to be in. Dan-you got some special staff, keep them happy!
Had dinner and was looking forward to the meal on my birthday , the service was great , but my steak was over seasoned, and very fatty, was disappointed, had the same meal at the Lancaster Long Horn , it was amazing, dont understand why the longhorn at My Zion was so different.
3 guest in our group. We all ordered the lunch special. 2 strawberry chicken salad & 2 french onion soup. I ordered the mushroom swiss burger with french onion soup. Ashley was our server. I must say, I wish I could have a server like her every time I ate out.❤. The food was excellent as well. My med burger was cooked perfect. We were all very satisfied & happy when we left.🤗
Best place to get a steak other than my very own grill. Seasoned just the way I like it. Ive had the porterhouse, the ribeye, and the outlaw ribeye all done to my specifications. The staff here is very friendly and willing to make your visit its best. Youll want to check it out!
The ribs were as good as ever but...We did call head seating and when we arrived they said it would be 20 minutes. We were finally seated an hour later. Many table were empty but needed to be bussed. Some sat for 15 to 20 minutes without being bussed. Then when they were bussed they sat empty for another 10 minutes. Meanwhile the waiting area was packed with people waitingWhen they are slammed they dont need two hosts just standing around doing nothing. They, the servers and the management need to buss tables if necessary. You make money by turning tables, tonight they werent.
My wife and I came in for dinner Thursday night.(12/27) it took a little bit to be seated, but in the end our wait was definitely worth it. Jennifer was our waitress, and she was phenomenal. She timed everything perfect, from bringing out our appetizer(we got the wings-delicious!) to our salads, to our meal. I ordered the outlaw ribeye and my wife got a filet. It was overdone the first time, which Jennifer made sure to take care of right away. She kept our table clean, our glasses full, and a smile on her face, the entire time. As someone who owned a restaurant for 23 years, I’ve dealt with my fair share of amazing employees and some rather not so pleasant ones. Jennifer is someone I would have hired in a heartbeat. Longhorn Steakhouse made the right decision in hiring this beautiful and vibrant young lady, and we will definitely be back to see her again!!!
Up til this past couple weeks my experience with this restaurant was great. Last weekend I ordered a take-out steak dinner with a Key Lime jar dessert. My mashed potatoes were thrown on a piece of aluminum foil with the gravy on them and this was placed haphazardly on top of my steak in the take-out container. The Key Lime dessert consisted of what looked like a couple spoons of vanilla pudding with graham crumbs on it and a sliver of a fresh lime slice thrown in with it. It was on a flat small paper plate??Because of my history with Longhorn I decided it was a one-time thing so again this weekend I ordered take-out. I asked to please not put my potatoes on aluminum foil. I ordered a rib steak, medium, and asked that it not be swimming in blood. Due to my last experience I decided to forgo dessert. They gave me a 2 inch thick piece of what looked like raw meat. This chunk of meat was definitely not a rib steak. The meat was also surrounded by raw uncooked fat. It was not edible. These dinners and the Key Lime Dessert are not cheap!
Amazing steaks. It was impossible to choose what I wanted because it all looked so great. Our server was super friendly. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the ribs were amazing. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Very clean. Great choice of interior decoration.
Waited 1.5 hours for a table. Waiter disappeared for 20 minutes after we were seated. French onion soup had something burnt in it, even the waiter couldnt answer what it was. It took another 1hr 20mins for food. Finally get most of our food and the waiter said he would be back with our mac and cheese and it never came. Very poor experience for the cost. Do not recommend
Ordered prime rib which had been excellent in the past. Was thoroughly disappointed with the cut of beef I received. Prime cut is a grade that contains significant marbling (fat) in the lean part of the cut and typically a fringe of even more succulent flavor. This serving was choice cut at best. I complained and they gave me a $25 gift card via email, but I would have preferred to have a totally satisfying meal with no hastle.
I went here tonight for dinner for my aunts birthday. We had a fairly large group of people at 11 (3 were children) and were told it would be a 25 minute wait. It ended up being an 80 minute wait. Once we were seated, it was business as usual. Ordered food and drink and received appetizers and salads and then entrees. Once we were done, we received our checks but all of the bills were split incorrectly. For instance, my check was just a kids sirloin. The computer system got our orders all scrambled, so our waiters solution was to print out each persons order individually and then group them up from there. All-in-all, the service was nice and the payment problem solving process was tidy, but my main gripe was all of the wasted time. We spent entirely too long waiting to be seated. I understand a relatively busy restaurant (there were approximately 7 groups ranging from 2-4 people who were able to be seated before us) but 80 minutes when told 25 is ridiculous. The other time waste was the process of getting the check situation figured out. The final reason Im disattisfied is because we didnt receive any kind of apology. The only thing that was said was sorry for your wait as we were being seated by the host. No manager came over and asked how we were/sorry for the long wait. It just felt like a snub. But I was thankful because the children in our group were incredibly well behaved 😎
My waitress was nice and attentive . My perfect margarita was not it was weak. It was cold in this place. I ate with my coat on. Salmon dish was alright. Ive had much much better from longhorns other locations. Shortly after the salad arrived so did my main course. A big no no. The atmosphere was boring and uninviting. The team seemed unhappy. No eye contact as the walk pass tables. Unless its theirs. The manager walked pass my table several times without stopping by no smile no eye contact. Huge no no.My spirits went down in this establishment. I will be in town 3wks on business..most certainly wont return. If not for my waitress id rate one star which means zero.Gosh if id ever think of suicide this is the place id go .
Second time I visited and got a steak that tastes like liver. Not a fan of their steaks. in my opinion, the best thing they serve on their menu is a grilled chicken sandwich which isnt even technically on their menu but they have a burger that they will swap out for grilled chicken if you ask.
We attended this location for my brother celebration dinner. Despite SO many tables being opened, we were placed right next to the restroom. While we were eating our appetizers, a staff members left the restrooms caring the restroom trash right by our table. The restuarant closes at 11 PM, it was 930. This was absolutely unprofessional and disgusting. I work in the restaurant industry myself, and I know that something like that is part of closing duties, however, the restaurant was still open with other customers in the establishment. Our waitress despite being new, was fantastic and our food was decent. Just very disgusted by this situation in general.
LongHorn Steakhouse is wonderful their steaks are exceptionally good I would say theyre on par or better than most other steakhouses the staff is extremely friendly we had a great experience last time we were there I highly recommend getting the Outlaw Ribeye it is extraordinary really delicious we were helped out by one of the managers name Jared he was a very friendly person and extremely helpful I can only say good things about this place be sure to visit and when you do make sure you get a delicious steak however if youre not a stick person check out the parmesan crusted chicken it is phenomenal
Quiet and clean resteraunt. Jumped in for a quick lunch. Our server David was great. He helped my wife chose the French onion soup. One of the better ones she has had. I had the shrimp and lobster chowder. Also good. My wife picked a salad and I the Prime rib sandwich. I do like their sandwichs!!! A great place for lunch.
The friend and I had some issues with the food.He ordered the bacon cheeseburger from the menu requesting no mayo, no tomato, no onion. His burger came with extra onion, extra tomato, no cheese, no bacon. When the error was brought to our servers attention she took it back to be fixed. This took about 20 minutes. Saying he was unhappy would be a understatement. My burger order was for medium. The meat was dry and burnt.Cant say either of us will return anytime soon
Absolutely horrible. No water served when I ordered alcohol.Served old cold half a loaf of bread initially. Later got a warm whole loaf.Body odor is horrible, cant wait for him to leave my table.I am dying of thirstFood arrived cold from another waitresses, then he shows up and says oh someone took my food before he could grab it. Full of excuses total lack of service.Had to ask for check. Left no tip requested a manager after I a Id my bill. Showed him the above notes I took during my stay. His reply. Im sorry you had bad service come back again. That was it. Yea. His lack of care explains the waiters lack of care. Never to return.
Worst ribs ever!!On the menu theyre described as fall off the bone but in fact I should have been given a hacksaw instead of the butter knife they were served with. Not only were they the toughest and last flavorful ribs I have ever had but they also served them to me at barely above room temperature. Even the fries that came with them were like warm.
Food was good and service was excellent. I have trouble giving this restaurant two stars. The server was amazing and I don’t want this review to reflect negatively on the waitstaff. I was greeted by a nice young lady at the door who was unbelievably pleasent despite being talked down to by her manager in front of a lobby full of people. That manager ended up taking us to our table, and introduced himself as Perry. Through out our experience we heard Perry harassing multiple employees in the dining room and even made a rude comment about a server to the table next to us! What kind of manager does this? I’ve worked in restaurants for 15 years and never in my life have I ever been spoken to in that manner by management. Unbelievable.Dear Perry,There are hundreds of restaurants in york that would hire your waitstaff in a heartbeat. You should be ashamed of yourself for the way you treat your staff. No one deserves to be bullied, especially in their place of employment. I am absolutely disgusted, and as much as I love LH, I will not come back if it means I have to witness the behavior I witnessed Saturday night.
Came in with my family for mothers day... Waited an entire hour for our check. We saw people come and go and not once did management came to apologize for the inconvenience. Instead he had the waiters (which they were the only friendly ones) come and constantly make an excuse for the manager. After an hour of waiting, we finally got the check and as we were leaving, the staff told us to have a great night but the manager who was standing by the entrance just looked at us and didnt say a word. Ive been in the customer service business for all my life and Ive NEVER felt this mistreated! As a manager he couldve made a difference but chose not to, which is sad because now we wont be going back. I hope no one has to ever experience what we did, because its not a good feeling AT ALL! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE from a manager.
Who doesn’t LOVE Longhorn?? It’s amazing! I’ve been to several locations and I’ve never once had a bad experience! I would probably eat there everyday if I could.Staff is always so nice, atmosphere is always great and the food is always DELICIOUS!!!What more can I say?? ...go check it out today!
Totally and completely rotten from early call 4 pm call, ahead to getting seated. After seated server, last manager and food were great. So i rate 0 stars for tripple wait time after arived and greeter gave a prediction of 1/2 hr.I rate meal, server and service 5 stars.
Highly dissatisfied. I went for pickup and they say in the email to go to the bar. I let the waitress at the bar know I was there for pickup, gave her my name and everything about 5 minutes before my pickup time (just to be clear I ordered an hour in advance since it was a Friday). She went to go tell a gentleman that I assume was in charge of the pickups. I went to sit down at the waiting chairs they have lined up beside the bar and watched this gentleman pack up orders. I sat there for about 30 minutes until finally I moved from the chairs closer to the kitchen and the gentleman noticed me and asked if I was there for pick up, I paid and everything, and noticed that the order he grabbed for me was the one I watched him pack up 30 minutes ago. My food was cold, and the only reason I’m not giving them 1 star is because (once I reheated it in the microwave) the food was really good. There needs to be a better system for pickups to get their food while it’s still fresh and warm.
Service has gotten worse over the years. Came here today for lunch and the place was almost empty. Our waitress forgot about our order and served the food barely warm. Drinks werent refilled a single time while we ate. Then we had to ask twice for the check. Check/Receipt# 40697
Every time I use call ahead seating, Im told it will be an hour and a half wait. When we get there the wait is more like 20 minutes. This week at 5:30 pm I called for a table for 7. I was told for a party that big I wouldnt be seated until after 8 pm. Needless to say, we didnt bother. We went somewhere else. Call ahead seating is a joke. You cant fake steak, and you cant fake customer service either.
Steak came out over cook so they made me a whole new steak and it was awesome. On top of doing that they also took the price of the steak off my check which was 21 wow amazing of them to do .they already made me a fresh steak did not expect them to give it me for free. Will definitely be back 👍👍👍
Good quality steak house. Ive had better steak, but usually over 40$ a plate. Porter house is the best steak I have gotten from any chain, and from anywhere in this state. Ribeye is a good second, but thats a personal preference. Service has always been great. My family likes the chicken as well. Appetisers are really good, but nothing you cant get at other similar joints. All in all a favorite place to have a good dinner out with the family or friends.
Been here with the family about a dozen times now. Always get their spinach dip. Steaks have never disappointed. If youre not into the yeehawws of Texas Roadhouse, but want some quality southern style steaks, this is the place to go. I like it here because its much quieter :)
I did actually have the 2nd highest resturant bill in my life BUT I did get the lobster and steak. I feel recieved a great value however. The service was average you know they did everything required but didnt feel like any extra. The food was great really great flavorful steak that didnt need to be sent back or burnt. Ive heard that there is issues with consistency but I must have gone on a good night. But mine and my wifes food was excellent really deserving of a 5 of 5. We got lucky and just beat the wait. It seems to easily hit 20min wait. I would wait if need be I think its worth it. Place did have a tiny oder of old kitchen grease around the resturant and tables. That shouldnt be maybe they are not cleaning with proper supplies idk. If you ever worked in kitchens you know that grill grease smell not good I the dining area. Mayber the grill exhausts not working or short cycling into tha mau unit.

2021-12-08Never disappointed! I came to celebrate an anniversary and it is always a great time here no matter the occasion! The atmosphere is great, never overly loud like some other steakhouses, but still a lively atmosphere even on a weekday. The server was very polite and provided us with amazing service. Steak cooked to perfection and my shrimp were as flavorful as I remember. I will definitely dine again!

2022-06-06Parmesan crusted filet mignon and the corn on the cob were outstanding both done to perfection! The service was impeccable! Despite the fact the restaurant is a chain it has an excellent ambience. Highly recommend it!

2022-03-26We ate here tonight and we had the best experience. The food was good and hot but what really stood out was our waitress. Rose B. was by far one of the best waitess I have had in a very long time anywhere. Very up beat, personal, friendly, tentative, kind, funny and on and on I could go. She was top notch. Hold onto her Longhorn shes one of the best and I will be back and asking for her. Thank you Rose for a wonderful dining experience.

2022-03-191st and last experience at this place. Waited well over an hour to get seated with multiple tables empty. First off dirty with food on the floor everywhere. When ordering was asked what dressing we wanted for my salad. My girlfriend was brought out a salad but never received mine. Asked another waitress who said I’ll bring you one…. Never came back. Waiter was forever to get his attention. When we finally did he told us we didn’t order another salad then went to get the manager who never came. We offered 3 different people to pay for our drinks that we did consume… no one would take the money or ring us up. We left. Called back to speak to the manager who made it seem like it was our fault and offered no excuses for the staff. I understand places are short staffed but don’t seat us or treat us derogatory for just asking for the salad that we ordered. Never been treated so disrespectful for ordering food somewhere. Will not return.!

2022-06-23Hostess was not friendly, took a little to get served once seated. Our waitress also was bartender which kind of explained delay. Once service started, it was friendly and attentive. Food was brought out nicely timed. Everything was hot and good

2022-04-24Was craving a good steak on a Saturday night. Was going to hit up another place but Longhorn made it easier to get a table. Used their site to get on the wait list. Arrived at the restaurant and was seated in 2 minutes. The atmosphere is great and the steak perfectly grilled. A little bit more money but you can taste the quality of the food and experience in the service. Will be coming back.

2022-03-05This was my first bad experience at longhorn. Usually everything is very good. The food took over 30 mins to come out so we had to get it to go.when we got home to eat, they had missed our brussel sprouts which we paid extra to have. The potato was old and dried up and the other dishes were sub par as well. The server was very apologetic for the wait and was pleasant but did mention how they had plenty of servers scheduled but not enough kitchen staff. It definitely tarnished my outlook on longhorn and may take awhile for me to give them another shot.
