I went to Lowes in bartonsville today and slipped and fell on the concrete walking in because they had a plumbing leak. Im glad I fell and not my 5 year old son or my wife. When I talked to the manager dawn she told me with an attitude that she called a plumber. As soon as I fell and complained she put up a wet floor sign so she wouldnt get in trouble. she didnt even apologize that I almost cracked my head open. Very rude and unprofessional!...I never complain about anything but... Will never go back!....will be posting pics tomarrow of the incident if not contacted....
Received excellent customer service from Kathleen today. I requested her to check if an item was in stock. The computer indicated 1 but was not on shelf.Kathleen looked at all the possible locations for item. She even got a ladder from another department to retrieve the heavy item off the top shelf. She verified cost with Manager, Arthur (who was very reasonable and professional). Finally, she carried item to check out counter and ensured there were no discrepancies during the purchase. Thanks Kathleen!
I have to say the staff there was fabulous. I was looking for galvanized sheet metal and probably three to four of them were helping me trying to find this because they said they had it in stock. I was just not the staffs Fault by no means but theyre getting five stars for me because they all really took their time to see if they could find it and they were more than apologetic
The worst customer service of any home improvement chain in America. Theyre in stock position is terrible and their employees are worse. Tried to use my credit card in the store they would only take it as a debit there is no way to get around entering a pin. Drove to home Depot bought the exact same merchandise use the same exact card went through without an issue
I purchase a kitchen counter snd a SINK THE A PICK FRON THEY COME TO MEASURE THE COUNTED in JANUARY 2021. It will be a year next week spoken to so manny people in the store and 3 party as well as assistant manager in the store and even I’m still paying for something I do not have 200.00 a month on a fix income, I requested to give me my money back or giving 2 year to pay in their card. Nothing as being done and their cause was the SINK KEEP ON ARRIVIND BROKEN AND THEY WANTED ME TO PICK A DIFFERENT COLOR BECAUSE YHRY DO NOT HAVE IT.. I’m the customer. I being very patience even the last assistant manager was ebony more worry about a one Year situation snd took me to the back to speak to a new person in the kitchen area counter top. IM TIRE OF NOBODY LISTENING ME IN THE STORE. The store is horrible. I pay closed to 6000.00 before in a refrigerator, microwave and washer, dry. And another 3000.oí on a counter that I’m paying and I DO NOT HAVE IT.
This place is very customer friendly. I came to get some wood for a project at home and had no wait at all getting it cut to size. When I reached the register the wood came up a different price from what I thought it was and the cashier quickly had an associate check it for me. I WAS WRONG, looked at the wrong sign and yet the manager on duty was very understanding and adjusted the price for me. All this including cutting the wood took maybe 10 minutes not giving my kids the time to drive me nuts and I was in and out feeling good about my visit to this location and will be back. Service with a smile!
Wanted to give a shout out to Tangy for all her help in resolving my issue. She took genuine care of me and even returned my call to update me on the situation. Very refreshing in todays world where everyone seems to be short and unhelpful, especially on the phone. Thank you Tangy for the outstanding customer service!
This is by far the worst Lowes Ive ever been to. I rented an attic cat insulation machine and paid tge $250 deposit to rent it. I only had the machine for less than 3 hours and returned and they never returned my deposit less the rental charge. I tried to call them in regards to my concern and they hung up on me. Im sure Home Depot will be more than happy to have my business from now on.
Unfortunately, I got a washing and drying machine from here, specifically told the associate that i would stack them. The day of the deliver I discovered they never included the stacking kit because it was out of stock (which I was never informed of), then after getting the stacking kit and installing it myself from another place, I washed my clothes and when tried to dry them noticed the guys that installed the machines broke the dryer and messed up the power cord so now it wont stay on. Tried to call customer service and they put me on hold and then hung up. If I could give less than 1 star I would.
Went to do a curbside pickup, but no one answered the phone and I called three times from my car. Had to go inside to pickup my purchase. Granted they were busy at customer service so I got in line and waited about 15 minutes to be waited on. Rather large boxed item and they didnt offer to have anyone help me load it in my car. Bright side though a young male employee was wrangling some shopping carts and saw me trying to manuver the big box. He came over and offered to help me. What a great employee!!!
Just bought 16 bags of top soil and assorted plants from Sal at Lowe’s on route 611 in Bartonsville PA. Sal was very helpful helping us calculates the amount of top soil and the amount/type of plants we needed. Sal is the kind of guy who should be leading a team He has all the qualities of a great manager. He listens, gains trust, and has a self deprecating sense of humor. Sal IS THE employee everyone is looking for. Bravo to Sal for going above and beyond suggesting a drop cloth in my car to avoid the dirty mess. Lowe’s (and the country) needs more men like Sal-Dan Schoenfeld
After having multiple order and delivery issues for over a week with a washer I ordered online from the Mt. Pocono store, in addition to them not being honest, I decided to cancel that order and go to the Stroudsburg store. As soon as I walked in to the appliance area I was immediately met by an associate named Dee. I explained my situation and she saw how frustrated I was. She went above and beyond to help me and assure me that she would do what was needed to get a washing machine for me ASAP. Needless to say, I placed my order and my husband picked the washer up an hour later without any hassle. Thank you Dee for all of your help! I truly appreciate you!!!
Store is fine if you walk in, get what you need then leave. BUT DONT EVER expect any degree of service if you need to call in. Ive tried 6 times to get plumbing on the phone (trying to get bathroom redone) and failed every time. Mostly was on hold forever (20 mins?) then disconnected virtually every time. Terrible. This place needs a new store manager.
I highly advise people to not buy Frigidaire Appliances. I have a microwave and refrigerator less than a year old that have malfunctioned. Good luck getting a customer service representative. They do not return emails. They use A&E to service their products who are equally bad. I was given two service dates, both of which no one showed and no one contacted me. Their resolution: someone will call you in 2 to 3 business days to schedule another appointment. Bare in mind a service window is all day from 8 am to 5 pm. They apparently aren’t concerned if their customer’s time. BUY A DIFFERENT BRAND!!!
The cashier I had last week couldnt authorize the price change for oops paint, so she had to call a manager. ASM Sam was the manager on duty that day, but it took her about 20 minutes to finally come over to help. I was there with my cranky 2 year old, who was definitely ready to leave. I stood there for 20 minutes while trying to keep my son calm, waiting for this manager. Kathleen, the cashier, apologized literally every 60 seconds, which I appreciated, and assured her that it wasnt her fault. When the ASM Sam finally came, she clearly had an attitude. She was short with Kathleen, as though she was wrong for asking her to do her job, and she never even acknowledged me once. She didnt apologize to me, the customers waiting behind me, or Kathleen. Instead, she huffed and puffed like a child. Its ridiculous that a manager is acting like she doesnt want to do her job in the middle of a pandemic and a job shortage. There are plenty of people that will happily take her job, so she needs to get it together!
I was disappointed that we purchased a zero turn tractor and upon delivery it wouldnt start. When I called, the first thing they asked was did you try charging the battery? When I spend over $2600 on a tractor, I dont think I should have to charge the battery. The other options were not good either. I could purchase a new one and when they delivered it and the other once was received back, they would credit me, or I could have them pick it up a week later, service it and then deliver it when they could. I wasnt completely sure it was the battery (although I figured it might be). When I insisted on speaking to the manager, I wound up having to bring the battery back for a new one and they gave me 10% off for the inconvenience. Thats why I gave it a 2 star instead of a 1 start.
I’ve been doing renovations in the house I just bought, for the past 2 months and I’ve been shopping from lowes since day 1. I’ve spent close to $10k at Lowe’s only buying hardware, lumber, and I even bought a siting lawnmower (Which wasn’t delivered in time).. bought a window ac and same day I bought it I found it somewhere else for less and I went back to Lowe’s that same day to pick up an order and to get it priced match to Costco’s. I was told that they couldn’t do that cause the price match only works with local stores… that’s not what the website states #1, and #2 that’s not what I was told on the phone when I called…I’ll be taking my business to Home Depot since their customer service is far better than Lowe’s. 🙋🏻♀️
We was prefer Lowes than other store I guess until now. They are being so inconsiderat that it is sad to describe it.We ordered in store products over $3.000,00.They scheduled the delivery for a month. My husband lost a day of work to wait for this delivery, and the day of the delivery after we wait very patient month they just brought 10% of what they were supposed to delivery. We didnt get almost nothing in one month. On the top of that no one had the kindness to let us know a had of time that they cant honor wirh the entire delivery, and even after we still no answer when we are going to have the rest of the products... Also calling to the store is a nightmare. I am trying totalk to someone for a half of day, I cantget no one to solve my problem. Honestly Lowes has big responsibility to hire people that cant manage their responsibility at work.
Ordered a fridge and dryer from Lowes because they had decent prices, along with delivery of flexible duct and dryer cord and haul away fee.I did not end up getting the dryer hauled so needed the refund on that service. They never delivered the flexible duct or dryer cord but they certainly charged my credit card and Lowes assumed the delivery guys delivered these items to me. I contacted Lowes over the last month to try to obtain a refund but other lowes store said that I would have to contact Bartonsville Lowes because purchase was made there. That is absurd. Lowes is a big name store with so many branches yet I have to go to the one Lowes store in order to get a refund. I tried contacting Bartonsville Lowes several times over the phone, was hung up on more time than my fingers can count. When I finally got an associate, they said within 5 business days I would see the refund on my credit card. Well, its been 5 business days. No Refund issued. Save yourself the stress. Do not buy appliances at Lowes. Not worth this stress and aggravation.Plus the delivery guys did not want to install the items even though we paid for install. They literally wanted to drop off the fridge at the front door and dryer. Can you believe that???
Needs improvement. I showed up for curbside pick up but no on answered the phone so I had to go inside to Customer service. After I waited on a long line, my items were not ready like the email said. The associate had to go to the aisle to retrieve part of my order. This store seems very unorganized.
Customers are nice and helpful.... employees not so much. Waited for help with a grill, went to find someone and after the page started the timer.. 8 minutes later an employee passed so asked again for help... 4 minutes later after she chatted with other employees she came to help got the grill brought it to us and left... The employees outside did not help with getting it in the van but two customers did...always the same experience at Lowes.. customers help customers
I placed an order on Sept 3rd and it slowly trickled in. When the gate hadnt arrived weeks later and their website showed no update on order status I called. They informed me that the gate was in stock at the store and all they had ever needed was for me to schedule it( never called me to schedule it, but assumed I would know i needed to call them to schedule it). I scheduled it for the next available day, a Sunday. The gate didnt come Sunday because the truck broke down. The gate came to my house, next available day, Monday. It was strapped to the roof of the guys car. I ordered a 10ft gate, they sent a 3ft gate. Called to have the correct gate sent and was told that I have received the correct gate just not both halves. My husband called in and informed them that I was correct, the gate was totally wrong it should be 2, just shy of 5ft sections not a 3 ft section. After that they scheduled the delivery for the following Sunday. This time the proper 2 5 ft sections showed up but it was damaged and missing the caps. We sent that back with the 3 ft section of gate. We then went into the store to exchange the item as per a phone conversation with the store. We drove 40 minutes and spent an hour in the store( they had refunded the order instead of doing an exchange so they needed to correct that as I had special financing for my larger order) and finally got a decent looking gate (when we looked at the gates they were all damaged and we saw the gate, in their stock, that we had returned because of damage) over a month after the order was placed. The whole ordeal was ridiculous, i will never order from Lowes again. If it is not in stock, go elsewhere.
DO NOT GO TO THE STROUDSBURG LOWES FOR COUNTERS! I am under contract for a kitchen counter with Top Line for a quartz kitchen counter. The template was done December 4, 2020. The kitchen is still NOT finished due to lack of communication between Lowes of Stroudsburg, Top LIne and the returning calls to the homeowner. Top Line made so many errors they it could not be repaired and had to start over. After 7 weeks (informed it would only take 2 weeks) the counter was installed on January 26, 2021 and was not acceptable by the Lowes subcontractor. Top Line made so many errors they it could not be repaired and had to start over. They finally returned March 2 to make a new template. I am still waiting for the materials to come in for the counter to be made. After reading poor reviews for Top Line, including complaints from other Lowes customers, I am very disappointed Lowes continues to recommend the Top LIne company. Shame on Lowes. I have requested a 25% refund after they offered me 12.5%. Still waiting for a compromise on the refund. Maybe it will take 3 months like the countertop.
Getting very disappointed in Lowes. I go online to check on what they have that Im looking for. It says 9 items in stock at Stroudsburg store. I go that day and their all out!!! They order it, wait 2 weeks then they tell me its discontinued. Not a way to do business. Its floor molding not toilet paper for cripe sake!
If you know what you are looking for no problem. If you dont, I can never find someone to help me there. So when I go there I make sure to look up the item(s) and it tells me what row to look in. The stores does stay well stocked even through the worse off corvid-19. This why I gave it a 4 out of 5.
I have been calling Lowes to purchase and have carpet installed, They do not answer the telephone and if they do they get a human to answer you are connect to flooring and than you are disconnected before a human from the flooring department gets on the telephone. I am guessing they dont need anymore business.
Lousy, lousy return policy. I bought tens of thousands of dollars worth of materials from them. They would not take back 5 extea boxes of hardwood flooring because their Covid-19 return policy had expired, yet the Covid-19 policy was in effect when I bought the flooring and would have been within the return period if it was still in effect. That is the last thing I will ever purchase from Lowes, I am done.
Husband and son went to this Lowes on 6/24/20 and bought 2 hybrid hot water heaters. Took 2 hours to place order. To be delivered on 6/30. Surprise!!!! Only one delivered. Called Lowes right after delivery van left. Kept me on and off hold for 45 minutes. Found another heater just delivered to the store. Told will deliver it on 7/2. Surprise again. No call, no show, no water heater. Here we are trying to replace both water heaters, plumbing run and waiting. Called and told it wasnt put on the delivery list but will deliver tomorrow. No call and called morning of 7/3. Was told, its on the truck. Last surprise, NOT DELIVERED. And no one answered the phone at the store evening of 7/3 or morning of 7/4.
This store should have a reality show between customers and employees, it’s that bad. The lack of care to help or help with an attitude is common. I’ve been here so many times and almost always had a bad experience. I used to live less than minutes away and every other option was nearly a half hour away, so I kept coming back. This would be a one star review but it wouldn’t be fare because there a few really motivated employees who were always helpful. To be specific; the people at the paint section, wrench section and gardening. Hopefully you don’t need any wood cut or appliances or help finding a screw or trying to figure out which aisle an item is or customer service. Towards the end I use the my Lowe’s app and plan my trip before getting here. Yes I’m dead serious. This was between 2013-2019, maybe things will change in 2020. #doubtit
I come to this Lowes and had the worst experience of my life. I thought it was a easy in and out thing since all I needed it was light bolts. No I waited for than 20 minutes for help and no manage on site. Really this is how do business with the community. I hope they read this and learn to help people More.
After purchasing a washer and dryer, we waited for delivery on two occasions. First the items were put on back oder, and second time they were unable to find our order in the system which was purchase within the store (cash), even after presenting a receipt.After speaking to a supervisor we got no assurance that we were getting our washer and dryer any time soon. When we were told different by the sales person. We had now waited an entire month. This has been a total loss for us having to take days off work, and not being able to have our items which were purchased in full. Poor customer service, poor communication, and a lack on knowledge. We didnt even receive an apology at that point, so we would no longer be shopping there.
Terrible service . Customer service is rude. Could not make return, because they said US Passport is not proper verification ID. I showed my Driver license in electronic format, besides my passport. But they also refuse to do return, justifying that electronic format is not acceptable . In few days when I come back with my physical DL, the head cashier start to tell story, that she probably will not take that items, because those items specific , and if they not pop up, she will not able to do this . Finally , after arguing , returned was done.After that I start to do the shopping , on register I purchased 25 bags concrete, I asked for forklift to drive up to my car, to make it easy to load . First, I was waiting about 30 min. Second, when they come up , loader said they can not load pallets in the cargo Van, they not allowed. I had been doing this for years , and I’ve done this on daily basis. Never was the issue until this Lowe’s .Avoid this location at any cost.
Went today with a long list of things needed for a diy project. One being a piece of wood cut for a shelf. I spent about 10 min wandering up and down aisles looking for someone to help me. I spoke with 3 associates before one finally offered to page someone for me. I waited there for 10 minutes and no one showed. I found another person who paged again and after another 10 minutes I gave up and left without making a purchase. Half an hour spent just looking for someone to help me is just unprofessional considering I saw multiple associates standing around chatting. It seemed that everything I needed was someone else’s job and no one could actually connect me with the right person and instead just pointed and walked away. Hopefully the associates at Home Depot will be more helpful.
Everything I buy from this store winds up returned. It started with a riding lawn mower we purchased last year. Delivered to the house dead. Returned and bought a great ride on mower elsewhere. Then a Snow Blower was purchased towards the end of last season for about a grand. Worked twice and stopped working. They would not take that one back. Now a cabinet unit for my washroom. Get it home, half way into assembly and the panels holes do not line up. Its going back tomorrow and we will order on amazon. This is why retail is falling off the map.
Conveniently located in a large shopping center easily accessible from the highway. This location is large and has a good solid selection of whatever home products you may need. There is a lack of variety and availability in the electronics/ electrical parts category. I felt there should be more items available in their electronics section considering the size of the store. Additionally, they need to have more competitive pricing; in comparison to Home Depot which is a 10-15 minute drive down the road.::::UPDATE:::Lowering from three to two stars as of 11/2020Recently I had a new floor installed by Lowes ( Bartonsville location) and we love the style. Dave and Craig were excellent associates and made sure everything went well with our install. We shop here regularly and have experienced both excellent and horrible service. IMHO, this reflects the management of this location. The overall store manager should be more aware, ensuring that all employees are providing excellent service to its customers. We visited again a few days ago, and the associates in kitchens/improvement-restorations were horrible..very short and unfriendly. There was an associates in building supply who was also very curt and not willing to help. Btw,.. another very important note... Lowes does NOT CUT wood in house for customers. If you need wood cut down to sizable pieces, youll need to visit Home Depot and buy wood there. Unfortunately some of the staff here are very unprofessional.
I was there on 12/23/20. Unfortunately i did not get the name of the guy who helped me find my vent free heating unit. The only one in the store. He was absolutely wonderful making this hectic shopping trip a 5 star experience. ( look for the guy wearing glasses!) Cashier her name is Pam. Was super efficient and pointed out that i wd get a discount if i opened up a lowes credit card. I did. Best experience i hve had at a lowes in awhile. Last time Mt. Poc. Put me on hold for 17 minutes.
The employees are friendly, but the management is not customer service focused. If you call, you will get the front desk, but you won’t get any employees in the departments. They will try to send you to the departments, it will just cycle back to the desk no one will pick up the phone, especially plumbing and electrical. Often times no one is even scheduled in the departments. Half of the call buttons in the isles do not work, and have not worked for a year, with no attempt from the store to fix them, even though its been reported (several times by me). The call button in blind cutting doesn’t work, which is the most annoying one to not work. The pine trim section is terrible, all of the wood is crooked and beat up. The pro desk is a joke. Go to Home Depot for wood and customer service or if you are a professional.
Lowes is very competitive with price. this pass Christmas I purchased 2 cordless hammer drill- impact gun sets with the battery for $149. which was a great deal. By far I normally go to Lowes first. I wish they sold tap cons in larger quantities, this would stop me from going to other stores. SDS drill bits are in limited quantity, they need more variety. Love the gang-boxes, nice prices and cute.
If I could give Lowes in Bartonsville in PA a lower review than a 1 Star i would. They do not care about their customers what so ever. Nema the store manager “according to her” is in capable of helping. I Am building my deck out of composite materials. I ordered everything online. I followed up several times because The status online after the first week said ether “order received” or “in process”. I was assured everything was received and ready to ship except for the galvanized pieces. They were on back order. I totally understand that. So i made sure I rented the auger and made sure the holes were drilled. That way when the concrete came in we can start immediately. Only two things arrived. A umbrella and my four cushions. Awesome. The delivery dates for the big material came and nothing showed. I called Lowes and spoke to customer service. She told me the concrete was suppose to come on the 29th (it was the 28th when I called). Great it’s still coming. When I asked about the composite decking, railing and privacy fencing for the deck they told me it was ordered but to see when it was suppose to come I would have to call the manufacturer. So I called the manufacturer. They told me the only thing ordered was the privacy fencing. They have no record of anything else. Before I was able to ask when the fencing would arrive she told me that the fencing was already canceled by Lowes but there was no notes. So of course I was upset. I called Lowes back and like always there are no managers available. So I asked again if the concrete was coming on the 29th (the next day) because that was the most important part because we already dug the holes. She assured me it was coming. 29th came and no concrete. 30th came and no concrete. Today, July 1st still no concrete. I call up the specific Lowes that was supposed to be delivering it and they told me that it was on the truck ready to go and somebody name Christine from the Lowes in Bartonsville canceled it and they took it off the truck. I am beyond furious now. I called back the Bartonsville Lowes and they had no idea why it was canceled. I told them that instead of me redoing my entire order online I wanted to work with someone who would make sure the order was done right and I would receive my order. I didn’t want another two weeks to go by and they would cancel my stuff again. I finally get the “manager of the store” Nema. She tells me that She will get me someone who can order my stuff online and she will personally make sure I get a delivery date. I tell her OK that’s great is there anyway I can get the concrete sooner. She tells me no it could take at least two weeks. I explain to her that I already had holes dug and I need a concrete sooner. She tells me there’s nothing she can do to help me. So I ask her, since there isn’t anything you can do to help me get the concrete sooner can you please financially help me out because this is a huge inconvenience and pushes my deck project farther into the hot summer. She told me she could give me a 5% discount. I then asked her if that is 5% on top of the military discount I was getting. She told me absolutely not. It’s one or the other. I had to choose and there was nothing else she could do. She refused to call another store to see if I could get it sooner, she refused to give me a truck for free so I could pick it up my self (67 80lb bags) She wouldn’t do anything. She was extremely unprofessional and rude. She even hung up on me in the end. I am disgusted with what is happening. I will be calling Lowes customer service to see if there is anything I can do. If they won’t do anything I will make sure I never shop there again. I also will make sure I share this story everywhere I can. It is disgusting what they are doing.
Only had half the items on my list. I need a circular saw. The had a choice of only 1. Needed a 2x6. They had all sizes except the one I needed. Needed help loading my cart with plywood. Waited 20 minutes and still no one helped me. Finally a customer came who also needed plywood. We helped each other. Thanks for nothing Lowes. 😒
Very welcoming staff very helpful everything that I needed for my small project at home they had here at the store and available. Very spacious parking area handicap accessible in the bathrooms or very clean as well. I would have to write this as one of the top Lowes stores that I shop at in Pennsylvania
When you make a purchase of a item that has to be ordered when it comes in you get an email and a phone call telling you that you have 7 day to come get it or its being shipped back, but when youre waiting for an item no one contacts you to inform you about the delays or what te problem is. I made a purchase on July 6 2020 and Im still getting the run around about delivery , I should atleast get a update on what ever the delay is
This review could have easily been 5 stars but I just cant do it. We moved to the area about 2 years ago and quickly realized that the local home depot is a complete disaster and there is no rhyme or reason for their set up or how their employees conduct themselves. We were happy that loews was close by and we were able to get so many things that we need from there. Up until recently I never had any real issues. I was there the other day trying to get some pool chemicals and I ran into a very lazy and uninterested employee, which is surprising because most of the time you ask for one little thing and they will walk you across the store to help you find it. I told her that I was going to leave a detailed review about my experience and mention her name but I will not because I am not a complete jerk. I will say that other employees witnessed what happened and it was a very simple thing. I wanted something that was not marked properly and when I approached the register, from 20 feet away she started complaining that it was going to be a very huge hassle for her to ring that up and she would have to call a manager or something and I would be waiting around. She basically forced me out of the store. Obviously she didnt ask me to leave but with her negative attitude Ive got so fed up so quickly I said you know what you should be fired and I left the product on the counter and I just walked away because I was disturbed. The problem with that is when I went to home depot to find that exact product which lowes had and was in my hand but she didnt want to sell me. home depot did not have it so now 8 oclock on a Wednesday night I have to go back to Lowes. I have my wife messaging me telling me dinners getting cold what am I doing. I went back to Lowes found an employee in 2 seconds that was ready to help me and got me my product and I was out of there just like it should have been. Its disturbing because I have spent thousands of dollars in lows and the past 2 years fixing up our new house and now I got a really think about it do I actually wanna go and subject myself to the ridiculous Li horrible home depot or to go to lowes and take the chance that I will be completely ignored and Ill wind up frustrated and leaving.
Lowes return policy is completely bogus. I do frequent this homeowner friendly store weekly but try to avoid doing so. The home Depot has an excellent return policy. If you are like me a home owner and general contractor you frequently need to return items due to incorrect item, color or size- you lose the receipt, you payed cash. No go at Lowes. Throw it in the garbage.
Called five times before someone answered the phones. The garden dept never picked up at all.Tried to place order of four palettes of mulch over the phone for delivery, No trucks available. Delivery two weeks behind. Dont understand why they only have one truck for the whole store. Had to rent a uhaul truck to pick up my order. This cost me more money .Very disappointed
It is ok but we had many issue with this store that I cannot give them more than three star.I have to say that most of the issue was solved by the manager but it cost me a lot of time. But Lowes is close by my house and I am trying to keep trust the storeThe manager is doing as much as he can to fix some problems.I dont like the delivery service they have.
The store never restocks, never organizes, and the staff are generally unfriendly and unknowledgeable. I always find boxes on the shelves that have obviously been returned (heavily retaped and broken/open), but the store lists them as new.I come here if Im driving by and need something that I know should be easy to find, but otherwise, there are way better Lowes Stores our there.
Bought air conditioner 387.00 used 2 weeks and its a solid block of ice today. I brought back to store now melting all over car, staff told me it was seasonal and cant be returned. Staff was unhelpful and rude. Alisa told my husband if he wants another one go buy it. Im out the money because they dont stand by defective appliances they sell.
Do not every trust there online inventory. Drove to 2 different stores to find a tap block to install laminate flooring. Online they said they had 16 in inventory sitting in the store. After an hour ride turns out they have zero and I was the 4th person that day to come in for the tool. Either have correct inventory or dont have any. Wasted 2 hours driving.
The workers in general are very helpful, due to covid I dont want to be in a store long than possible. One concern is employees not wearing there masks properly, leaving their noses exposed, pulling them down to talk all the time and wearing them around their neck. Frankly this upsets me in every store.
I generally go here to get things for the garden, but some employees make it really hard these days to feel safe.Last weekend, on Mother’s day we used the self check out to minimize human contact. The person who worked there to oversee unusual objects was chewing a gum without face protection, like with full on open mouth cow chews. Then stepped there, and did not cover her nose, which makes it even worse. We left too shocked to say something, so I feel like I’m obligated to let someone know about this. Please, educate your workers.
My wife and I went into the store to buy new appliances for our home. The two staff members in appliances were very helpful and great to work with. Once we went up front to check out the staff members who were at the registers were rude and not helpful at all. They lost the orderes that they had made in appliances for us so the woman told us that I had to walk back to get the numbers off the appliances so that she could re-make the orders. She then rolled her eyes several times at us and treated us like we were idiots. I will never shop there again.
The carpet dept is a complete rip off,,after they charge me $35 to come and measure, then we went to the store for sticker shock $1250.00 for 2 rooms ,I went to home depo used my own measurements and purchased a similar product for $450 and did the installation myself,,way,way overpriced at Lowes
I would rate it less than one star if I could. I ordered a dishwasher at home depot. Paid for it on line and had my plumber pick it up. When he got there they said they are no longer carrying it. The next closest price was 100 dollars more. Then went to Lowes on line. Found perfect dishwasher in stock. Paid for it and got a call saying they really dont have any. Do I want to order. I ordered it. Got notified to pick it up. Paid a friend to pick it up and when he got there they said they sold it. They put it in inventory and sold it. Now I already had plumber at my house putting in toilet. So I will need him back. They had to reorder my dishwasher and offered free delivery. IT SHOULD BE FREE DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION. I had to pay someone to pick up and didnt get and now I have to pay a plumber for another visit. SO MAD
Employees were EXTREMELY sexist towards people that I know and questioned why they were buying what they were. They were denied service for cutting of the wood that they were looking to purchase, and overall, left empty handed. Two women, questioned what they were using wood for, denied service, and made fun of for their use for the wood(karate) all by an employee. Extremely disheartened and upset by the way that they were treated.
I went in for a new dryer with my husband. We walked around for 20 minutes or so until someone even acknowledged that we were there when I personally went up to disrupt their chatter. There was one associate who went above and beyond to help us at that point. But the other associates were RUDE. I asked about the veterans discount that LOWES PREACHES about. She told pointed me in the proper direction. We get to service desk and it was as if the store was on fire, the service desk was in full blown panic over whatever it was. We asked about signing up for the military discount. Because who has to sign up to get a discount when my husband who is a veteran literally has military IDs that prove it when needed. They told us that they couldnt sign us up because the system was down. Okay, I understand. I asked if we would still be able to be compensated for it at the register and she told me no. I asked what we can do because a 10% on a $500+ item would be nice since LOWES THEMSLEVES PREACH ABOUT THE DISCOUNT. She told me come back in a few days. Why would I come back in a few days for the dryer that Im picking up TODAY? That makes no sense. The lady from appliances followed us to the register and explained to the cashier about the problem and asked for an override. He told us he couldnt and the manager wouldnt either. The manager, who was right behind the cashier, was actually going to give the override but then said because its on sale that they couldnt. Why cant you give a veterans discount for a dryer on sale when LITERALLY EVERY DRYER ON THE FLOOR WAS ON SALE? She told me there was nothing they could do and left. The lady from appliances who was being a great help had walked with me to service after we paid and the girl from service was absolutely rude. They gave me a discount off of the price I paid and when it came for me to sign the receipt, the slammed it on the counter and threw her pen down, pretty much throwing the pen at me in the process. Then she took the receipt and awkwardly stared at me without saying anything until I just walked away because all she did was stare at me. It was the most absolute worst experience I have ever had with lowes and I will not go back. We never ask for military discounts unless it is needed, like our dryer breaking and not having much money to buy a new one so the discount wouldve been nice. But the way we were treated, was disgusting. Ill shop at home depot before I ever step foot in lowes again. And Ill be sure to tell any our veteran friends and active duty military personnel friends about our experience so they know that lowes DOES NOT practice what they preach. My husband is a veteran. And we only came to lowes because its always preached how lowes takes care of their veterans and military personnel. Clearly that is not true. So being part of a huge military community, I will make word fly around to not use lowes.
Good variety of products at reasonable prices. But DO NOT ever use their home improvement services like roofing. I had leaks and badly done roofing in angles that took them two years to address. When the repair person came, it took him a day to fix. Very unresponsive customer service.
I purchased some pex fittings and I didnt need one of the items i couldnt find my recite i never opened thee bag if fittings and u was told i couldnt get a refund because this was a non returnable item which I never knew about this i onlt bought more of the fittings just in case i needed them. I feel this is not right since i didnt opened the bag i do a lot of shopping at Lowes i was told to read the back of the recite which is not legable also these items should be marked clearly so people would know so you dont over buy these things
The person at the register has no customer service training and should not work in retail. Due to her attitude, I returned a very large purchase. As much as I wanted the item, (and trust me, Ive searched everywhere and found it here) I refuse to spend my hard earned money somewhere where they are rude!
I had a bad experience with an online order. I phoned Lowes and spoke with manager Dawn. She couldnt have been more accommodating. She helped me with my issues and sent me to associate Walt who was just as helpful. He helped me reorder my tub and toilet and I thank them both.
My husband and I stopped in to inquire about a window in our nursery that is ceased shut. We simply asked Kevin from Millwork if it would be cheaper to try and repair something like that, or replace it all together. He continuously rolled his eyes, threw his arms up, and shook his head. He had the worst attitude and we even reported the situation to another associate/manager. If you don’t like your job, quit. So rude.
I could not ask for a better experience the young lady that assisted me was more than willing and very helpful her name is Dawn shes the manager of the flooring department , together with another worker Kris dont remember the last name was more than willing to accommodate and help. The best that I have had if I had to give them 1 to 10 Ill give them and 11 keep up the good work guys and hopefully somebody can read this and see that you guys are the best people like you dont come around every day
Bought all new fixtures, sink and toilet for the bathroom and at the last minute my husband could not meet Me to Load into my truck. Im on crutches and cant carry anything at all. Had 3 store employees come help load my truck. Absolutely incredibly friendly and helpful.

For those of us Diehard Craftsman fans (Pun intended), Lowes took over the complete Craftsman product line from the now Defunct Brick & Mortar Sears. Staff is more knowledgeable & helpful than the Other Big Box. Best place to get wood pellets for your smoker or pellet grill. PitBoss brand- $14.95 / 40# bag pure mixed hardwood pellets. $9.95 / 20# bag apple or other Fruit hardwood. Minimal dust.
Have purchased several appliances here at the Bartonsville, PA location. Each time was a success, associates were extremely helpful as well got a very good deal on those appliances. Delivery men showed up the date I was scheduled in for, another plus. Highly recommend Lowes !!
Horrible the employees were rude, I had a person in the wood department argue with me for at least 15 minutes trying to tell ME what I wanted, I ought to know exactly what I need for my project. I also asked hardware to make 2 copies of a key for me and went to get hinges, I get home and look in the bag and theres only one key and it doesnt even work. I got yelled at by another employee for loading my truck IN A LOADING ZONE. He asks me to move I tell him as soon as I get the door and wood loaded in. He proceeded to pick everything up and slam it into my truck and tell me there now move. Never in my life have I had such a horrible experience anywhere I am a regular customer of Lowes in Mt Pocono and will continue to do business at that store. Lowes bartonsville you are horrible and I cant say I will miss you.
Outsourced delivery sevice is completely unsatisfactory. And 13 calls to one store department in 5 hrs and no answer. Customer sevice cant even track these people down. When i think about the millions of dollars Ive spent at Lowes in the past 6 years, I have to wonder whats wrong with this particular store.
Bad experience I have with this store and the employees. I ordered appliances from this store in person and selected the delivery date that I will be available at the house. However, the day before delivery date I did not get any call from XPO or Lowes. I called the store they told me XPO make their calls between 5-9pm. I have waited and still no calls. I called store again, customer service employee told me delivery date changed. Why no one notify me the date changed. What is the reason it got changed. Why I have to chase them. What kind of service is this Lowes providing. The employee cannot answer any of this and said someone else will call you back then hung up my phone, without even write down my phone number how they call me back. They are saying that to brush me off and dont want to help resolve my issue. This type of employee should not be working at the customer service department at this store. They should not hung up customers phone when they cannot help. They should do better and make efforts to help. Management of Lowes needs to step up and hire better employees. Its making the company look bad. I had a bad experience before with XPO delivery company and Lowes still using them, thats why my delivery not deliver the date that was promised. No calls from them. They dont take responsibility.
Very unhappy with Lowes, bought some oudoor furnature and scheduled it for delivery no shows on 2 different days, no calls, it turned out that they sold my items to someone else!!. Had to get it from another Lowes but they are now charging me a delivery fee. Will never do business with them again
Staff in plumbing (John and younger géntalman with tattoos ) was extremely helpful. My father and I redid my entire bathroom in which we spent alot of time there asking questions about certain things. Both gentleman went out of there way to help us out with all our problems . Mind you were there almost everyday for about aweek. I Thank Them for there help and going out the way for us to get some products 😊😁😊😁 that we needed

Lowes in Mount Pocono- we went for appliance- no one was there to work, another family was waiting to purchase something- person was paged 4 times! - finally showed up and stood at desk till approached, then had to go in a thy ock room to verify if the 1 was actually back there- 10 minutes plus- we left without item - people before us got tired of waiting and did on-line order while there waiting- sad thag only 1 person was supposed to be there working .
I was looking for a part for my snow thrower, I had already been to HD and they were no help. So I tried Lowes and I met Nina, she was the salesperson. She helped me despite the fact that my snow thrower was not a brand that Lowes carried. She found a part that was compatible with mine. It worked.
No Customer Service! I went in to buy a grill for fathers day. After price shopping found that the grill was thirty dollars cheaper here than at home depot so I went in and went right to the seasonal department desk. Looked around and didnt see an employee so I pushed the button for assistance. Waited ten minutes and no one showed up so I started walking around trying to find employees. Found one who looked right at me as I walked towards him he walked away and I didnt manage to catch up before losing him. Saw another employee who looked right in my direction so I waved at her and started walking quickly her way. She then walked away and was gone. Annoyed I walked back to the seasonal desk and pushed the button again. After ten more minutes a guy in a suit stood next to the desk on his phone so I figured he was a shopper. He then goes behind the desk pushes a few buttons on the computer then goes back on his cell and walks away as I try talking to him. Really ticked now I walk to customer service where one employee is on the phone with a customer and the other two are having a personal conversation. They look right at me then turn their backs and continue the conversation. I left and went to home depot in Stroudsburg, where I received prompt service and was in and out in half the time I spent waiting at lowes. Never going back to this excuse of a store.
Wanted to order custom exterior door and custom shades but no one ever is at the stations. Pushed help button mulitple and no one ever came. Made 2 trips on the same day and another the following and no help. Asked someone but they were clueless about trying to make an appt to get someone out to get my door measured. Going to Home Depot
Enjoy looking around Lowes especially the plants and flowers 🌷 to see whats on sale bought a couple of plants today. $ 3.00 each. Hope to work in my yard Friday planting and replanting my plants. So much I still have to do. Husband have to work on the pond and make my benches and thats just the back yard. Well have to go.🤗😀🤣☺️
Most employees dont know wat they have on the shelves in their own dept. Always say they are professionals but why are they trying to sell a temp fix item thats 5 times the cost of a permanent fix item. Products you have to dig thru moat times to get decent quality items
The gentleman daniel was so friendly and helpful actually took the time to help me and my brother find what we needed he was a great gentleman even the guy in the parking lot was nice that gave us the cart i normally dont do reviews but I was just amazed by their professionalism very nice gentleman
Customers service is HORRIBLE! Everything works good except the customers service. I work in the area and every time I have to pick up an online order is the same issue at customers service.. People complaining when you are waiting on the line and workers make you waste your time.
Went on sunday to buy a grill. Once I finally found an associate to help me he said they had one left in stock and would be right back . After waiting he comes back to say that they have no more in stock. I wanted that grill so I asked if I could buy the floor one he told me no . Meanwhile the grill was 500 dollars bc it was a smoker, charcoal and gas grill and I had the rest of the stuff picked out that we needed to buy with it . I told him of he couldnt sell me that grill I would be going to home depot and instead of asking a manager or something to see what he could do , he did nothing . So my brother and I went to home depot and bought a grill . Lowes lost probably close to a 600 dollar purchase that day . This isnt the first horror story I have heard about this lowes either .
I’ve been to this Lowe’s several times and the customer service is terrible. Wendy from the blinds department was rude, my mother asked her a question and she didn’t stop to answer her she just said “I don’t think so” as she was walking by. Then I picked out a tile that I liked from the display only to find that it was discontinued. Then I went to pick out curtain rods and they didn’t have enough of the one I wanted. Disappointed and a waste of time.
Only giving one star because I cannot give a negative star . I used to be a Lowes guy and have had only nice experiences in the past at other lowes location but this particular lowes location is highly unreliable if you are going to get any kind of home projects done. I had scheduled a carpet installation with them and their crew comes and tells me that its not possible to install carpet on the existing wood floor as they need a new subfloor laid on top of the wood floor. They dumped all the new carpet materials in my living room and left. I thought to myself ok not the end of the world and got the plywood subfloor installed by my local handyman since the lowes crew insisted that they would not do it. So when the second crew (ALG Installers subcontracted by Lowes) came (after we put the plywood floor down) from the get go I could tell that they were in a rush and absolutely no mood to work. I and my buddy had painstakingly ripped off all the old carpets (something that I had already paid lowes to do) so that had already saved them 2 hours of work. Even then they made excuses saying that the existing tack strips need to be removed and its not part of their job to replace tack strips . So I said fine (yes even to this) I had my handyman already in the house so told them that just wait for 15 -30 minutes my handyman and I will get the old tack strips out and prep the area . No dice. They did not wait even 10 minutes and just left which was their intent from the get go. Anyway I will not only NEVER do business with Lowes again but will also encourage everyone I know to never rely on Lowes for any installations. The website said they had over 700 units of an item my was looking for with a particular brand labeled on it. I was told by two employees at the front the only stock that they had was in the center aisle . They failed to check their computers and I had to find a third employee who actually showed me they had multiple pallets of the items. Secondly the parking lot was an absolute disaster. Covered in ice which caused slippery conditions which is a safety hazard for employees as well as customers. Also a potential OHSA issue

2022-05-21Do NOT use Lowes for your new kitchen! We went to Lowes last September. They were so nice, assured us they could guide us thru the process. Paid them in full in Dec. They came in April, ripped out our kitchen then realized they had measured incorrectly. Had to order new parts for cabinets. “Rushed” order. Now more than a month later no one has any idea where the parts are. Won’t answer our questions. They will “get back to us” and we never hear. Worst decision we ever made to go with Lowes.

2022-02-18Bought a refrigerator two years ago. Got a great deal. It was a clearance item reduced from $1799 to $999. At check out they offered an additional 10% discount for opening a credit card. It was easy to apply and it took a few minutes. To years later we are very happy with the refrigerator. The only concern I have with Lowes is their return policy. You need to keep all receipts or look item up on your credit card. Then your return is issue store credit and link it to your drivers license. I sent my wife once with the store issued credit and they refused to honor it because her drivers license did not match the card. Very frustrating and I had to stop what I was doing and head out to Lowes and get what i needed. Very frustrating and Big waist of my time.

2022-06-29Fortunately I know the store well since I was not able to find an associate to assist. When in doubt, I used the website to locate items which provides isle and bin location. The only caveat is the inability to ask questions on the website/app. A knowledgeable human is needed for that, but none to be found. Guess it the new way of life now.I personally helped a few shoppers who were also looking for an associate. 🤷♀️I used self check out which was a bit of a hassle since some bar codes did not want to scan. I did get immediate assistance, so that was helpful.Customer service is lacking but its still one of my favorite places to go. It is what it is...

2022-04-03Nice friendly and helpful associates not like home depot where everyone seems to hate their job. My new goto store for home improvements. The only minus, went looking for chrome LED fans and they had none. Gotta step up your merchandise and make it more modern when it comes to lighting and ceiling fans but overall experience definitely a positive one.

2022-05-14Today I had the very best Experience from two employees of Lowes. First I have to say Iam so greatful for the time and assistance Louie gave me today. He just could not be more helpful!!! Thank you LouieJennifer in customer service was pleasant and very helpful aswell.Having such a wonderful shopping experience will definitely have me shopping more frequently in lowes.

2022-06-25Customer service is terrible. Store 2252 doesnt even have a manager in store today. Ordered washer it was delivered damaged. The next day they sent out a new one and that washer was damaged and flooded my downstairs! Lowes has yet to do anything to fix this. Do not use this company. Dont waste your money

2022-03-25Terrible store , even worse employees and managers that dont call back or follow up on anything. This is the Stroudsburg, pa. Store. I recently had a delivery that the delivery drivers completely destroyed my driveway that was flat and prepped for gravel. After triing for a full hour to get someone in the store to talk to, I was just pushed away like I didnt even matter. No one even bothered to call me back. This to me is a classic example of very bad management and employees that just dont care!!!! Shop somewhere else , anywhere else.......
