Ben is a dysfunctional liar and a con artist. I would avoid this place at all cost. They made a mistake which he admitted but refused to fully fix it. The whole time arguing every detail. Finally agreed on 4 new tires and was actually talking to another shop in town.When I told him what happened he responded that we would never do that and to see what you could do to get your money back. Sad that it has come to this but mavis does not have a good name and for good reasons.Avoid at all cost and will be waiting for my $79 back for your mistake. I literally spent over $1100 at this place and feel like I’ve been screwed.Called the number below from “the owner” and was no help. Was informed there’s nothing they can do but say “how sorry” she was and can give me a store credit for the amount. That’s a joke since I’ll never be going back. Doesn’t do anything to make it right and further assures how terrible this company is.
Unreliable. I had a flat. They had my car for two days and could not repair or replace the tire. Asked me to come back in 3-4 days with my leaking tire.Not surprisingly, several reviews on Google mention front desk personnel are overwhelmed and that that jobs take forever to complete. I would agree. Many of the negative reviews have boilerplate responses from Mavis executives. They don’t address reviewers complaints and ask you to “give them a call and advise them on how they can improve their service.”You have to call an answering service each time to get a hold of the front desk—no direct # to desk personnel. So, you wait on the phone twice before talking to the front desk. The service managers aren’t rude, just busy, robotic, and indifferent.Why 2 stars? Their tire prices are cheap (they matched tirerack’s prices). But, it’s more predictable to have tirerack ship tires your nearby shop to be installed punctually.
Ive come to Mavis Discount Tire in Brookhaven for most all my routine maintenance for the last several years. Theyve changed tires, brakes, oil, light bulbs. All of it. And because they inspect along they way, Ive been alerted to other issues I may not have known about. Today, I experienced their willingness to help with even the smallest things. Ben graciously took a few minutes from the front desk to help me out with replacing a brake light while the other mechanics were working on other jobs. Ive repeatedly found I can count on the work they do and their willingness to work with customers, and it is so appreciated.
I really dont like being at a tire shop for 4 hours on a Saturday evening. But I needed some new tires!! As for customer service very misled about how long it will take to complete the job was so wrong. Assess to the tire shop was easy and great location for business.
If only I could give negative stars. This place is the single worst place Ive ever been. Do yourself a favor if you need work done on your car, look it up on youtube and do it yourself. It will be MUCH FASTER than waiting on these good for nothing people.Went here for a tire plug. I decided to leave after 4 hours of absolutely nothing happening.If these people moved any slower, they would be going backwards. They could have had the shop be completely vacant of all techs and probably gotten more done.DO NOT under any circumstances come to this dump. Ive never seen so many returns and 10 hour oil changes in my life.I hope this place closes and these people find a new career path.
Went this afternoon and needed back tires. They did everything they could to work with me, and get me the tires I needed for safety on a small budget. Even offered to give me a ride if needed since I lived right across the street. I would highly recommend Mavis in Brookhaven, the staff are awesome!
Had a blow out on 95. I brought the tire in loose and had a new one mounted and balanced in about 10 minutes. The service is fast and employees are nice.The prices are meh, tire was $90 then Mavis hits you with $60 additional for parts, labor, warranty, and tire recycling. You cant fault the guys in the shop for that though. Complain to the share holders.I used to go to Kaz, you could get a new tire mounted and balanced for $80 flat but he retired.
Tire I brought in to get mounted went flat 2 days later, I recognize part of that is my fault for not knowing that the tire was bad, but I gave them 4 tires to choose from, and they picked the one that was busted. Charged me again to get a new tire put on 2 days later. Disappointed, but because part of it was my fault Ill keep them in mind for services.
My tire is very low so I pulled in to Mavis, they were very Accommodating, since I did not have an appointment and they were very Busy . This is the second time I brought a car in without an appointment and have been very satisfied with their work and their customer service is excellent.
My wife took her car to Mavis and spoke with Ben about the fact that the tire pressure light came on in her car. She started to tell him that she thought something may be wrong with one of the tires because it wasn’t inflating when she took it “across the street” for air. He jumped in right away and asked if it was Wawa she was referring to. She indicated it was indeed Wawa, and he told her there probably wasn’t any issue, and that he’d be happy to check the air in all of her tires. He was so kind, proceeded to check all of her tires and fill them with air, and went on to say that any time the tire pressure warning light came on, to be sure to stop inside and someone would help. Thanks to Ben for the great experience and his professionalism!
I waited 8 hours to get 1 tire 🛞 that I purchased from them on. When I picked my car up at 9:30p they had not put any air in the tire they put on so I still had a low tire pressure warning. I then got out my car prior to leaving to show them that something is still wrong only to be told I NEED RK DRIVE IT FIRST! Wrong I don’t. Why would you pull my car out the bay seeing that the light was still on!! Horrible.******Just as I can provide a bad review I can also provide a redemption too. I returned to facility today and Joe the Manager spoke with me personally to which I was satisfied with and appreciated his geniuneness and candor. I appreciate and acknowledge that this situation was rectified and I’m thankful for Joe’s professionalism and understanding of my situation too!!! 5 star for righttttting a wrong
Joe and Ben were AMAZING! Joe was so helpful and professional on the phone when I tried to make an appointment close to closing time, and Ben is very calm an professional with customers who come in at closing time.I would recommend this location to anyone. Pleasant and helpful with no attitude.
Just had my first experience with Mavis. I went there today for an oil change. Its the day before Thanksgiving and they are pretty packed. None the less, they got me in and out of there in about 90 minutes. Everyone was super polite and respectful.I got a full synthetic oil change and it came to about $60 which is pretty fair.Im definitely going to be going back to Mavis for oil changes. If the great level of service continues, Ill be going there for other work as well.Would definitely recommend this place to others.
Attached are three new tires from Mavis (4720 Edgmont Ave, Brookhaven) yesterday. Much dirty and ugly than the tire they replaced 7 months ago. they said they are brand new, ”You can wash them. And told us youre not welcome here. Not sure if I have a Asian face or not. But I am an American.

I had scheduled a state inspection for the Friday after Thanksgiving online for 4pm. I arrive a few minutes before four, there are two people at the front desk “helping” two customers, they were holding a conversation. I finally get helped and am told “I don’t know why the website let you do that, the website is always wrong, do you need your car back tonight?” I say yes I do as it is my only transportation. He then suggested we reschedule for the next Sunday at 1030am. I arrive and am told they are already behind, but should get to it soon. I take a seat and start to wait, expecting a two/two and a half hour wait. I understand that sometimes things pop up in garages that end up taking longer than expected. My car did not get seen until 251 pm I finally walked out of the door at 4pm. Walk ins came and went in the time that I was sitting there. Then, Ian said they would comp 2 wipers if I left the above google review, not because of my horrendous wait time but to gain a favorable review. It seems to me that they prioritize walk ins and more profitable services than scheduled appointments and advertised state services. I will never return to that location. The corporate office has been called and I am currently waiting on a call back. I am not trying to be a Karen but the service and organization of the garage needs a serious overhaul.
I left work one Friday evening and realized that my back tire on the driver’s side was really low. So I decided to drive down the road to one of the local gas stations to put air in it. After I was able to find enough change in my purse for the air machine, I noticed that my tire was not inflating as it should. I jumped back into my car to get warm when I noticed the Mavis Tire sign. At that moment, I realized that I had purchased all four of my tires about 3 years ago from that exact store. Since I was cold, tire and alone, I decided to head over to the store for some assistance with my tire. The representatives at Mavis could not have been nicer. The first gentleman that I spoke with came right outside to see how he could assist me. It was then discovered that I had picked up a very large nail in my back tire. Although they were about to close the store, I was told to park my car in one of the open spaces in their parking lot. He took my keys and my license plate number then assigned my car to one of the technicians to plug my tire. I was so relieved and thankful that they made the time to fix it. The gentleman that rang up my bill of service was just as awesome as the first guy. He was a great conversationalist and very personable. I would give this team at this location 10 stars if possible.👍
They worked with me to fix a nail in my tire even though they were booked solid for the day. Ian at the front desk was very kind and helpful. I really appreciate the customer service that they provided to me especially in a bind on a busy Saturday afternoon. Highly recommend stopping at Mavis in Brookhaven!
This store should be closed down, the service is beyond atrocious and workmanship sub par, was directed from their Chadds ford store(another joke) to this store because their lift was broke.Needed to get 4 tires on my truck, got to the Brooke haven store at 9.50am and got out of there at 3.20 on, they prentended to give me money off for my unconvinced and would accept a $15 dollar off coupon I had either, the so called tech who was fitting my tires left before the job was complete and the manager had to end up finishing it after telling me all types of lies, I was not the only customer who was there for hours.PLEASE, do yourself a favor and avoid this joke of store and company, they are a disaster and will soon be down and out!
They are terrible period! All I needed was a plug for my tire I had an 9am appt. They decided to make me wait while they put four new tires on one car and brakes on another before even getting to me.After waiting for an hour and half they still weren’t actively working on either car before me. A plug takes no more than 10 minutes to do. They were not even trying to accommodate me because I had to get my child to work by 11am. After calling another Mavis they took me right away and said it should have been no reason for that type of wait for a plug on the Sunday after Christmas. Will never go there for anything again! It’s Mavis is chadds ford from now on!
I would not recommend this location for anything and would rate it 0 starts if I could. I brought in my car for 4 new tires. I made my appointment online. On the day of the appointment I was called an hour ahead of time to confirm I was still coming in and I said yes I will be there and was asked if I would be dropping off or waiting and I said I would wait for it to be completed and was told that is fine.I then show up for my appointment and I am told the car would not be done that day even though they did not close for another 3 hours and was told that it would be done first thing the next morning. I then asked what was the point of making an appointment as I have a job I need to get to and I cannot without my car. The employee then told me there really is no point and sometimes it is better to be a walk in. I was then told if I stay and wait it could possibly be done that day but it could take up to 3 hours as there was 12 cars ahead of me at that time.I did not wait and dropped the keys off and said I will pick it up tomorrow morning when it is done.The morning went by and I still did not get a call, so I called in and was told I was next in line. I said the car has been there for 24 hours how has it not been completed yet and I was told SIR I HAVE 1 GUY WORKING HERE TODAY. This is on a Monday, why is there only 1 employee working in the garage on a Monday?I am still waiting to get my car back at this timeDo not go to this location as it is the worst service I have ever experienced in the auto business.
I can guarantee in due most most ppl that have more then 1 star will regret this Brookhaven location horrible better check behind they work and make sure u get calculation print out with ur alignment they made me pay and never did a alignment I’m a mechanic but of course they didn’t know that just don’t own a alignment machine watch there work please !!!! And wile I was there another customer was there complaining about work that was supposed be done that wasn’t just a fyi!!!!
Extremely disappointing. Made an appointment for 9 am. They did say they were running a little behind. I left and returned 2 hours later. My car wasnt even moved from where I parked it.I made my appointment via their app. Why couldnt they reach me before I went to the store and explain this to me, thereby giving me a choice BEFORE I WASTED 2 HOURS of my valuable time? I could have rescheduled to a mutually convenient time. Yes, I understand understaffed. I also understand basic consideration of other people. Talk to me, tell me the truth and give me a chance to work with you. Not just make me feel that you dont respect time.I took my car home in the same condition I brought it. I will be making my next appointment somewhere that respects my time as much as their own.
Would not recommend or ever go back. I made a appointment at 9am Sunday. Dropped my car off for a inspection and oil change. Waited all day, until I hadn’t received a phone call and they were almost closed. I called and they said it wouldn’t be finished that day and they will have it done on Monday. I waited all day Monday planning to pick it up after work, I called multiple times that day and both times they said they were working on it or it was next up. It was time for them to close and I showed up after work and turned out it hadn’t even moved out of the spot I parked it in! After 2 days! Just unbelievable. Never AGAIN.
Came in to get 4 new tires installed and I must say the customer service here is A1. Dominique and Ian are amazing and very helpful. They answered my questions thoroughly and I never once felt like they were trying to rip me off. Ive found a new home to take care of my vehicle.
This was my first time coming here, and the sales rep at the front named Dominique was extremely helpful. He was attentive to every question that I had and made sure I knew exactly what every purchase would entail. Would highly recommend to others who are looking for a good place for car maintenance!
I scheduled an 8am appt one day. I was told my car would worked on in about two hours. I left and came back around 1230p and my car hadnt been worked on so I left with it. Scheduled another 8a appt a week later. I was told the same thing; my car would be worked on in about two hours. But this time I didnt comeback til around 330p and my car still hadnt been worked on.
My husband had taken his car to Mavis in Brookhaven. No other car shop had any opening. However, they were able to take us in at the last minute. Ian was very efficient and kept us updated every day throughout the process. It went from dreading the outcome to feeling very relieved. Will definitely go here from now on.
I came in this morning with a screw stuck in my tire. ben was super quick and helpful to visually check the tire and remove the screw. he offered to quickly plug the tire if it started leaking but fortunately it hadn’t been pierced through. after just 5 minutes of his help, i was on my way thanks to ben.
Just went here for a car inspection (which ended up requiring a little more work). After many set backs, the work ended up taking a bit longer than anticipated. However the work was well done and they were very apologetic, even offering me a very nice discount. Overall the work might have been a bit slow, but they did a good job, and its nice to find a company who values my time.
Made an appointment for yesterday to have my tires checked due to the dummy light coming on saying low tire pressure. When I got there, Ben was the only one working. He had asked if I could come back the next day, however that wouldnt work since I had to come to work today. He was kind enough to put air in my tires as he could sense that I was uncomfortable driving the car. He is a valuable asset to this company and I will be sure to patronize this business in the future.
Staff worked quickly to complete a rather large project on my vehicle. They communicated what the discovered wrong clearly and laid out pricing so that I would not be taken by surprise. Prices are comparable to their competition but the service was top notch. Great job by all
I when to the Mavis on 4720 Edgmont Ave, Brookhaven, PA 19015 to get my radiator fixed after they told me that was the problem with my vehicle so I asked them to fix it and they said they would be able to do it then 2 days later said they couldnt so I went to go pick up my car and it had a huge dent and scratches!!! I ask what happened and Nick told me he didnt know when the guys might have hit then I called the following day and they told me I would have to wait a couple weeks for them to look at the cameras now it has been three weeks and Im furious
Had an appointment for Thursday at 8am to replace 4 tires. I left my car with them all day. They were unable to put tires on my car due to being shortstaffed and overbooked (they had one person working, one person training, and about 20 cars on the lot). The employee managing the front did not even apologize for it. Worst service. Would not recommend.
I went in as I thought my brake pads needed to be changed. Chris, Matt? You know, the friendly guy with the glasses and beard - excellent customer service, handled multiple fires at once and customers left happy and as promptly as possible.Nothing ended up being wrong with my brakes by the way, he took a thorough look, and instead of trying to make a sale, he handed me my keys and said I was good- nothing owed as brake checks are free.Like I said to him, Ill be back when there is actually something wrong with my car as this experience showed this business to be run by trustworthy and friendly people.
Needed to originally have a tire plugged and was told it wasnt safe due to the age of the tire. He recommended putting a new one on the back, and offered to put TWO on the back to even it out. Being I was going to need a new set soon ANYWAY, said to go ahead. I got a great price on the new tires and was very thankful they were able to get me in there at such short notice! I will be going back next month to get the new pair for the FRONT wheels!

If your online scheduler is that broken, please take it offline, or hire more people to accommodate the business you have.
This place is by the far the worst run mavis I’ve ever been to. Don’t bother making an appointment, they want you to leave the car there for at least a day, not like anyone has jobs or anything to get to. The manager needs to go, I ended up having a much better experience at a mavis a bit further away from Brookhaven.
Jeremy called me and asked if I could come in early and he would have my car done much earlier then anticipated! Got to love that not sitting around all day waiting. This I my second time dealing with this location and they will continue to get my business because of there excellent customer service !
If I could zero stars, I would. Called to set up an oil change appt on a Wednesday for a Friday. Asked if I could drop the car off Thursday night, was told yes and that car would be done Friday morning. Well, Friday morning came and went and by 4pm I had not received a call. Called to check in, was told, Darling, youre next in line. We close at 6, so please come in by then. Ill call you when its done. So, please dont call me darling. Its not 1975. Every woman who reads this will know what Im talking about. Get with the times, dude. So, I get no call (shocker) and show up to the store at 5:40 only to be told that my oil change was never completed. Because I have a Volkswagen with a plastic oil cap, they cant change the oil because they need a special tool to remove the cap. only the dealership can. So......why didnt you tell me this when I made the appt and gave you my car details? Why did you allow me to come in in the first place? The staff member said he called me to tell me this, but he absolutely did not. Checked my missed calls just incase, there were none. So, my car sat at Mavis for 24 hours unnecessarily and my oil still needs changed. I was going to try someone new since sometimes I just cant wait around for Jiffy Lube across the street (who has, many times, changed my Volkswagen oil with its fancy plastic cap without any issue?) but I will NEVER be visiting this joke of an establishment again.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! NEVER GOING BACK!!!Two days ago, I called the store to see if I can bring my car back to be re-inspected after having breaks done. The person I spoke with over the phone confirmed that I could come in this morning and that the visit to recheck the breaks should only take 30-45 minutes. Upon my arrival today, I was asked to leave my car until the afternoon. I explained to the clerk/manager that I was quoted a time to bring the car in and turnaround time for the re-inspection of the breaks, which his response was to SHRUG and tell me that I must have spoke with a call center and that they do not have time to do it at the moment. I could not leave my car today as I only planned for a quick in and out visit like I was quoted over the phone and during my last visit. The clerk/manager again mentions that I must have spoke with a call center, that there was nothing he could do & that it wouldnt be ready that fast. I let him know that I can wait and asked for an approximate timeframe, his response was maybe around lunch time. After several minutes of going back and forth, he says he MIGHT be able to get it done by about 10:30am. This was fine with me. Still with attitude, the clerk/manager asks for my registration and insurance. I told him that he himself took it a few days ago when I originally brought the car in for the inspection, his response was WELL, I need it again.Clearly upset from the 20 minutes I had to go back and forth with this man, I go to walk out of the store to get my paperwork from the car but said this is ridiculous as I walked out AFTER hearing him mumbling. He then proceeded to come outside and confront me in the middle of the parking lot. With a RAISED VOICE in the middle of the lot, he tells me that he was trying to be respectful and that I dont need to have attitude with him. After a heated discussion in the lot, I asked for his managers name, he responded numerous times that he is the manager. I told this man, unless his name is MR MAVIS, he has a boss and I would like their name. Eventually he told me his bosses name is Ashley. He then proceeds to say now itll be 5 hours as he walks away. I said excuse me?? He then walks back up to me (still in the lot) and asks if I want to leave the car or not. I said no, you just told me it will be finished around 10:30 which is fine, and now you are saying 5 hours, which is it? He then goes back into the shop where I hear the mechanic ask what was that about and I walked into the store to wait. The mechanic that did the actual rechecking of my breaks ended up having my car done quickly - about 20 minutes so all of the arguing was really not necessary at all.I have 4 cars in my household, none of which will be going back to this place.
I love Mavis Discount Tires, store manager Chris is awesome he helps you with whatever it is you need for your vehicle. He has great customer service & communication skills. He got the job done & it didn’t even take long for him to do so. I love this place & will be back in the future if need be. I am very satisfied!! :)
Had a tire replaced here. It was the only location around that would be able to have a rarer tire size in the next day. Ultimately the employees went out of their way to obtain the tire I needed. The store manager was extremely helpful and considerate in resolving a miscommunication. The customer service here is amazing and I recommend it to everyone!
I just want to say that customer service was outstanding. Chris Pittman is an excellent employee there and he helped out my sister every which way possible. We were referred here by friends and we are so glad that we came here because they go above and beyond. I highly recommend Mavis Discount Tires and ask for Chris Pittman and he will help you with everything.

The mavis tire is amazing in Brookhaven. I got there at 930 and a little wait. Chris looked up my order and got my car in right away. They checked the car out and everything was good. I will always come to this location. Chris and his staff were very friendly and polite. Great job!!

Stopped by around 10AM to see if they had any openings for a wheel balance and alignment for that day. I was in the area visiting my parents so I figured while I was there we can have the work done. I was told they had an opening and the car could be ready in the afternoon. Perfect.I had not heard anything yet and it was 3PM so I called and was told my car was heading into the shop now.I called at 4:40PM to check on the car because the shop closes at 5PM. After being put on hold for 10 minutes I decided to remain on hold and just drive up there. Once I got there I hung up my phone because I was still on hold and got out just to see my car hadn’t moved from where I left it. I went in and the manager said they never got to it. I asked for the keys back. The manager seemed to not even care he had an unhappy customer. He said he could work on the car and he’d like to do the alignment still. Too late. At this point I waited around all day on my day off for the car to just sit there. It would have been nice to have been told at 10AM when I dropped it off that they didn’t have an open spot and they couldn’t get it done today.This was the first and last time I’ll ever go to Mavis.
Great service! Mechanics do a quick but quality job. The whole staff is pleasant. I had to deal with the Store Manager directly (not for anything bad) and she took care of things with no issue. She’s very customer service oriented which is rare these days. I would recommend to all of my friends.
Car repairs stink and can really put you in a less than good mood. Thats why I wanted to say THANK YOU to Matt at Brookhavens Mavis Discount Tire. Because Matt really turned a bummer into a hummer of a day. Friendly, competent, and apparently putting in a lot of extra hours. If youre a mechanic get a job here ! It should be a great place to work.
Our car had an appointment for 9am.for 4 new tires and an alignment, 2 and a half hours later, and the car hasnt been touched yet. I would understand it if it was a walk in, but we had an appointment. Not coming back here and definitely will be letting people in the area that I know, how poor their service is
My husband and I just bought a house and are new to the area. My SUV needed an oil change BADLY! I was able to schedule an appointment the day before, And the service time was right within their proposed 3-hour turnaround. I wasn’t in any rush, but thought this was fantastic as we’re coming from the city where “estimated times” might as well be a full day.I worked with Chris and Paul and both were very friendly. Will definitely be back for any of my other car needs!
Great Customer Service and Great Management Team at Mavis BrookhavenToday (January 27, 2021) and back in October of 2020 (when I needed a LOT of work done on my BMW), I dealt with Matt, who I believe is the manager and/or assistant manager at the Mavis Brookhaven location. He consistently provided excellent customer service and best of all, made all efforts to make sure the price for my repairs in October were kept on the lower side (which, for a later model German sports car is not easy). I easily saved about $3,000.00 going with Mavis as opposed to going to the dealership. Most recently, I experienced a tire blowout, and Mavis fully honored their warranty, and once again provided great customer service (I once again dealt with Matt, who was great). Would certainly recommend Mavis Brookhaven to anyone looking for repairs on their vehicle, and especially want to give a shout out to Matt, who went over and beyond in his efforts to provide great customer service.
Repeatedly poor service at this location. So bad even the free air machine doesnt work. Dont go here.Oh btw the customer service folks at mavis online want to respond within an hour of this post. The actual people who do the work do not respond. Ever. If I could give you less than one star I would. My tires still arent on right and it has been more than 2 months. Trash.
Worst place to go. Had 1st appt of the day and still was told I could wait a couple hrs before I could get service for a plug. They offer warranties on the tires and say u can bring back anytime but fail to mention you will wait for a long time or be asked to leave your car all day to check a slow leak
I called to make an appointment for a wheel alignment today 1/17/2021. They said the next available appointment was tomorrow. I asked for the 8 am time slot. They sent an email as if I were confirmed. They call two hours later, acting oblivious to the appointment I just made, and basically said they didnt have any appointment to available. It took them two hours to realize this.... smh I couldve made an appointment tment somewhere else. This is so inconveniencing.
We took our 2008 Honda Fit to Mavis for a simple oil change. The car has been in our family since it was purchased at the dealer and has been babied since then from a service perspective. We have every record. The car was brought home which is a mile away. The next morning my son drove it to work. He got as far as 9th st and the car just stopped running. When he tried to put it in park there was a high whining noise. Mavis did have it towed back to their shop but then tried to tell us that the transmission stopped working and we have to get it and take it to a trans shop. We have had trans go before in a different model car and it was a long process, you started to feel it slip and we had it repaired a few times. This was definetly not the case with the Honda and no one in any inspection nor service mentioned that the transmission was going. When googling the problem and sound that is happening it seems that it might be the axle shaft. Which sounds to me like it happened on the lift. There was absolutely no problem when this car went into the shop. I would expect that Mavis would fix the car and make this right. I will post an update if there is any change in their attitudeI wrote this review before I went back to pick up the car. Mavis also had a regional manager look into the issue. They ended up quoting us a fair price to fix both of the front axles. They did the work and also did not charge us for the tow. They still insisted that they did not do the damage to the axle In the first place and explained why. They also gave us two free oil changes. All in all I suppose they we fair so I am updating my review to 3 stars
Didnt like that u could schedule an appointment online with out them knowing what u needed. Didnt have anything I wanted as far as name brand tires goes for my Silverado. After being talked into something I didnt want, they then proceeded to jack up the cost with alignment fees and told mounting and balancing also was not included in tire price also. Took my business else were.
The gentleman at the front was fantastic! Extremely warm and welcoming and spent a good deal of time with us. We had a great all around experience and it all started with him! This was our first experience with Mavis in Brookhaven and we will definitely be going back!
Only given 2 stars because Im getting so annoyed with the workers at the front desk about if they deserve a 10/10 rating for the survey they send to your email. One time I was in a rush and had to be somewhere all I wanted to do was to pay for my car and leave but the 1 guy kept asking how his service was would I give him all 10s he even told me to take my phone out to check my email so I can do the survey there and now its annoying
This review is for Matt, and Matt alone. NOT Mavis.I made an appointment for Wednesday at 1pm. On Tuesday I was contacted by Mavis asking if I could bring my car in before 11a, as my tires would be arriving at noon. I was told, by coming in earlier, this would expedite the installation of my tires. Mind you, Im a healthcare worker, and Im coming off a longer than usual shift since I needed to clear time for the car appointment. In short, Im beat. As discussed, I brought the car in at 1015 am...only to find out that the tires I had made an appointment for are not in the building. Theres not even a tracking order for them. Awesome. Im pretty annoyed.Matt told me that my tires could come later in the day, so I decided to leave the car. I called a few times during the day to get updates on the MIA tires. This disrupted my being able to sleep well and I was now getting nervous Id have no transportation back to work. During my last update call, Matt assured me that if my tires didnt show by 439, hed upgrade the tires and price match them. I agreed to this.More hours pass and I havent heard anything. Its now 5:15 pm. I call again, and Matt explains to me that my tires never arrived and hes had to upgrade the tires a few times, due to lack of availability. Long story short, I ended up with some very nice, Hankook tires! As annoyed and tired as I was, this definitely helped to make up for it.Although I was happy for the upgrade, I was still pretty disappointed in how we had arrived at this point. Mavis seriously needs a better system for tracking, and should not tell customers to come in early if the availability of the tires is not definite.All that said, 2.5 stars for Mavis and FIVE stars for Matt. He was very professional, pleasant, and stayed true to his word. If I ever went back to Mavis, which Im not totally sure that I would, Matt would be the one and only reason for my return. Hes an asset to Mavis Tires company and saved the day. Sooo combined stars average out to 3.75, so well round up to 4.0. Thanks again, Matt. Albeit exhausted, I had the smoothest ride to work Ive had in quite some time (even with the fresh, treacherous potholes on City Ave). Awesome tires and awesome service FROM MATT👍🏼
If I could, I would give them no stars. First they dont tell me their inspection machine is down. They take my car to their building in Chaddfords without my permission. When I finally get my car, after 7 hours, they tell me I need $700+ work done to pass. I didnt. Never again!!
When I came to pick up my car after Jeremy called and said my car was ready Jeremy treated me like a king....he was friendly and pleasant...he is what customer service is all about and you dont see that alot these days.... I think you should give him a raise...he is an asset to your company
I can not even begin to say how thankful I am to Chris and Pat. Ran over a bolt I dont even know how or where during a storm came out to find a flat tire the next day took the tire up to Mavis and Chris got me in even though they were short staffed at the time got me a new tire and got it on my car very quick and efficiently. They are truly my life savers saved my whole vacation and the 13 hour drive I have to make to visit family. Thank you so much.

2022-04-12I was fortunate enough to be able to walk in for an oil change and be able to have it done relatively quickly. The store is neat and clean, and the customer service is excellent. Even though I don’t have young ones any more I can appreciate the kids play area where they can hang out while you wait. It is also in a convenient location and you could walk to the grocery store, gym, or grab a bite to eat while your car is being serviced. I’ll be back.

2022-01-24As long as youre not in a rush, this is a great place to get tire & brake work done. I just came in for a simple rotation, but by them doing their full inspection, they pointed out a nail in the outer sidewall of my tire which I may have never seen along with letting me know my brake pads were low. They didnt pressure me into thinking I needed to get it done and suggested I get a new tire before it starts losing air. I waited 2 1/2 hours for the rotation to be done, but left knowing what work needs to be done to stay safe on the road.

2022-04-07The guy at the desk is cool. He does not have enough heads or hands to handle the call volume/customer volume sometimes. But some how he manages. I think they have a call center. Usually pretty nice and helpful. I did find it strange the torque bars/lug sockets were in the office and not in the shop. I guess they belong to the shop... Or Im weird and there are a lot of customers who have questions about how their tires get properly torqued... Either way, clean show room nice staff.

2022-04-29I bought all 4 tires from Mavis, Brookhaven, 2 years ago. Best tire service, selection, advice EVER! So when I just could not complete replacing my headlamps, I stopped by Mavis. The gentleman was so kind & replaced my headlamps for FREE, right there in their parking lot. Now THAT is amazing service! Thank you so much!

2022-06-02I initially came in thinking I needed MINOR problem fixed with my car but it ended up being something really problematic. Ben & Joe were so nice and really helped me alot during the wait process. I really appreciated everything they did to help me and get this work done in a timely manner due to me having to drive a long distance in the morning. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!!

2022-02-03I really hate to sound like a Karen. I don’t even leave bad reviews when I receive bad service but this was just completely unacceptable. If I could give 0 stars I would. And they’ll probably delete this comment but idc screw them. I’ve been to this place twice and it’ll be my last time going here. September of 2021 I brought my vehicle here for new brakes and rotors. I gave them the key to my vehicle on Friday morning and they never touched my car until Sunday midday. Mind you, they told me the service would only take a few hours. Not the whole damn weekend. And now today February 3, 2022 I take the same car to get an oil change which should only take maybe 30 to 40 minutes but it actually took them 2 1/2 hours and another 2 1/2 hours to put on two new tires, a wheel alignment, and put a new battery in. I swear there were 2 other customers who also been waiting for +5 hours for oil changes and new brakes and rotors. Another guy came in angry saying he spent $500 on four new tires 8,000 miles later they’re bald. Not to mention THEY FORGOT TO BALANCE HIS TIRES. All in all, can’t wait to never spend money at any Mavis Discount Tire shop again.Short Version: Expensive parts and Labor, Extreme long wait times. Botched jobs. Angry customers.

2022-07-02Daniel Gregory and Ted the Mohawk guy were the guys that helped and assisted in any way they could. They definitely deserves some sort of promotion with Mavis. Even though I had an appointment, the wait was like 4hours. That place has a lot of volume and it appears to be understaffed. The quality of work and effort seems to be there even if customers get agitated at the time it takes to repair their vehicles.
